Best Selling Book Series For Young Adults (2024 Updated)

My niece gave my daughter the first book in this series. My daughter became enthralled instantly. She has never read a whole book series and usually sticks to graphic novels. She will occasionally read a chapter book but not often.

She begged for this full series. I was delighted to oblige her. It was out of stock most places and she was visible shaken at the thought of there being a time lapse between her reading each book! I thought, wow, this is good.

I’ve been waiting for a series to really capture her attention like this and expand her reading away from graphic novels some. Not that I don’t like them but I wanted her to see how enjoyable bigger, wordier books can be.

I found the series here on Target ready to ship! We even got it a day early which was perfect because she had just finished the 1st book. That was a little over a week ago and she’s already on the 4th book.

She is so proud of herself and so in love with these books. I believe some themes may be a bit mature in these. I’ve only read about 30 pages of the companion novel to the selection set (1st three books).

It’s called happily ever after and sold separately. I think it is fine for my daughter as she’s read some books already with very mature themes. She is 11 and a half. Like anything else, you are the best judge of what’s appropriate for your child, there are plenty of excerpts online to read a few pages.

I had listened to the stories before on audio book, and it kept me wanting to hear more. They were very well written, exciting and romantic without all of the sex they seem to want to put into all of the books nowadays.

The story line was very compelling, and the different aspects were explained along the way very well. I liked it so much that I bought this set for my granddaughter who is a reader and in 1st year college now.

It was exciting enough to keep me going, and wondering about what was coming next when I had to stop listening for awhile, so I thought it might do the same for her. As I said it wasn’t full of sex like so many are, but the intrigue was enough to make it well worth the journey.

It had quite a few humorous spots as well. Very good. Highly recommend for an enjoyable reading night in, but if you have to put it down for work or other ‘life’ things, you are able to, until you can get back to it again.

In this twisted and trying tale, an ambitious, college-bound girl, Tessa Young, has found herself entangled with a wild boy that she would have never have given the time of day. Her main goal was to focus on school, her too-good-to-be true boyfriend, Noah, and to start her career in English, but all of that changes after.

After she meets Hardin. He is a bad boy with a traumatic past he has completely captured Tessa’s attention. In the first book of the After series we find Tessa trying to find out how she fits into her new college life while also figuring out if she is falling for Hardin Scott.

My favorite trope is that of enemies to lovers and this book fulfills that fantasy!.

Let me first say I usually don’t write reviews about anything, but this deserves it. First off, it’s an easy read and understanding everything that is going on so you could get thru the series fairly quick, and that is the hard part because you want to finish it as soon as possible, but want it to continue.

Hardin and Tessa’s relationship is one of the hardest I have ever read, but it is raw and passionate love, and it is the worse kind of love, but that is what love is about, sometimes. I have never cried in my life as much as I have over a book, not even when Dobby dies in Harry Potter.

I even threw the books a few times, cursed at it, curled up under my husband’s arms because the emotions in their story is so raw. I hated Hardin, loved Hardin, hated Tessa, and loved her again. This book is not for people who take things series , as it does have a lot of emotional abuse in it.

At the end of everything no one should go through the process that this couple goes through, but again some people actually do. That is what makes series so great, it could actually happen. And to think it started with a One Direction.

I will honestly reread the whole series again, and I don’t do that.

I felt like I was reading something written by a primary school student, or like my brain was a typewriter. Horribly written. How it got its own movie I have no idea! I saw the movie and thought to give the books a go, but my brain hurts after a few chapters.

This book is a fantastic exploration of the psychological impacts that young women experience, only heightened through a scenario reminiscent of both The Handmaids Tale and Lord of The Flies. Extremely well written and almost impossible to put down, I was enthralled by the story and universe that Kim Liggett has created.

If you’re after a feminist story in a haunting dystopia then this is the book for you!.

One of the best books I have read in a long time. I was completely whisked away into another world where we grow to understand that the patriarchy isn’t the only thing tearing woman down. How can woman stand up to the man, when they are their own worst enemy, when they are tearing each apart–literally and emotionally? This is a beautifully written coming-of-age story embedded with magic.

I was surprised over and over again by all the twists and turns that were laid out for the reader so gracefully.

I absolutely loved this book. Too many books try too hard (and fail) to be “The Next Hunger Games” or “The Next Divergent”. Few books can truly suck you in, and leave you wanting more. This is one of those books.

It is in the vein of Hunger Games and Divergent, but is also its own unique story. You end the book wishing you could stay just a little longer.

Interest: I heart this series and I had to read the final book. Title Thoughts: I love it. Cover Thoughts: I like it. It goes with the other covers and I like how it’s just her. Because it all lies with Belly for the most part.

WARNINGS: There might be a few cuss words. Trust me it does not matter with this series. You have to read it either way. I finished this book in a few hours went to bed woke up and had this insane urge to re-read it.

This is one of those rare books for me where I want to re-read them as soon as I finish. I want to stay in these books forever. I want to get lost in them each and every time. I want to know them by heart.

These are books that if I could only choose one series to read for the rest of my life these are the books I would choose without a moment of hesitation. In The Summer I Turned Pretty we see everything from Belly’s point of view.

In It’s Not Summer Without You we see some of things from Jere’s point of view. But in this one? We get a little bit of Conrad. I think that was really fantastic. Not just because I love Conrad but because we get to see his reasoning behind some of the things he had done.

We see that Jere isn’t as ‘perfect’ as Belly thinks which I really liked. Throughout all of the books we see that Conrad isn’t perfect. He has flaws but we love him anyway. In this book we really see Belly see him as he really is: a person with flaws.

But do those flaws fit together with Belly’s? Or is Conrad and his flaws a better fit? Throughout the book I kept thinking Is this really happening? Please tell me it’s not. Where is Conrad?! He needs to stop this madness!” While reflecting on the book I could see some things more clearly.

I’ll refrain from saying anything else on that train of thought for the sake of not having a spoiler. This is also one of those rare books for me where I’m actually content with the ending. I’m not talking about closure or being happy with the ending.

Those things are there. I’m talking about being happy with imagining what could happen next. Usually I would want to continue and learn the details. Find out for sure what the author sees but I’m actually very happy with imagining it myself.

Addict’s Last Words: We’ll Always Have Summer had my heart pounding my stomach in knots and I was on the edge of my seat with anxiety about who Belly would be with and if her and Jere would really go through with their plans.

This is not a series you want to miss reading. To Buy or To Borrow: I hope you aren’t having doubts about this. This series are clearly a buy. If you never use the buying links on JABA please use them for this series.

Carry On is a fantastic young adult fantasy. I typically prefer character driven books to plot driven books and I felt this was definitely predominantly the latter but I was thrilled for the entirety of it.

It’s a beautiful story and it left me excited for the sequel but also satisfied with it as a standalone.

At first, it seemed to me to be a rip-off Harry Potter book. And in the beginning, it kind of was. That’s the only reason I give it less than five stars. The plot is amazing, the characters are lovable, and the diversity within the book is comforting.

If you enjoy delving into a new fantasy world and solving a mystery (with a little bit of gay romance), then this book is perfect for you.

Carry On is a very good, addicting read. I loved it and made three friends read it as well. I immediately bought the second book when I finished the first and now Im in the terrible limbo of waiting for the third.

Anyway, definitely would recommend, it is so good. Simon, Baz and Penelope are probably my new favorite fictional characters.

Toby’s grandpa writing on his behalf. I gifted Toby the box set for his 9th birthday. He devoured the 3 books in one week. His parents found him throughout their house reading, reading, reading. He couldn’t stop.

He’s only 9 but his reading age is 13. Comprehension, vocabulary, recall all in the 90+% range. Pretty impressive. No doubt he’ll be re-reading them. He enjoyed this box set so much. Thank you. Grandpa John.

I love these books. The story is amazing and takes amazing turns and there are movies to watch after. The book also helps you understand the greed of power and the costs of war. It shows you how much freedom costs.

If you’ve read these books I would also recommend the book The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. It is a prequel to these books, but I wouldn’t recommend you reading it before you’ve read these books, because it could confuse you.

I would recommend these books to everyone who loves good books that you can’t put down.

I very much enjoyed this trilogy! Let’s get into what I liked about each of the books: “The Hunger Games” tells the story of a nation divided into 12 deprived districts and one rich, opulent Capitol.

The Capitol has been ruling Panem since the districts revolted 74 years ago, and it keeps the districts isolated and impoverished through various means. Each year, to remind the districts that rebellion doesn’t pay, one boy and one girl are chosen from each sector to meet in an arena and fight to the death.

Only one of the twenty-four tributes will come out alive. Called the Hunger Games, this is the Capitol’s triumph every year, and the Games are reality TV at its overly-glorified worst. On the Reaping Day, when the tributes for the Hunger Games are selected, heroine Katniss Everdeen volunteers as tribute after her 12-year-old sister is originally selected.

Katniss has been the breadwinner in her family for several years and is fiercely protective of her sister. The male tribute selected is Peeta Mellark, who, unknown to Katniss, has been drawn to her ever since they were in first grade together.

Katniss wants nothing to do with Peeta, knowing that if she is to survive it means she might have to kill him in the arena. They arrive at the Capitol and are shocked at its gaudiness and worldliness compared to their home in District 12.

The tributes receive a few days of training and are run through interviews with the media before they are dropped into the arena and the battle for their lives begin. In the book it is clear just how cunningly Katniss approaches the Games.

She knows every moment is televised and she plays that to her advantage. This is unlike the movie, where it almost seems accidental that Katniss handles the experience as well as she does. Her time spent illegally hunting back at home gives her a strong advantage over the rest of the tributes.

Always her goal is to avoid Peeta, until the unexpected announcement that if the final two tributes are from the same district they will both be crowned winners. Then her goal becomes finding Peeta and keeping him alive so that they can win together.

There are many obstacles she faces, including injury, dehydration, and certainly the other tributes. Then there’s the Capitol, who has an agenda which they do not want to see overthrown, especially not by Katniss, who has been nicknamed The Girl Who Was On Fire.

Coming from the smallest, poorest district, her showing them up would be a very bad thing indeed. “Catching Fire” tells the story of the consequences Katniss faces for having won the Games and unknowingly given the districts a spark of hope that freedom from the Capitol might be possible.

Threatened with having her family and closest friends killed if she refuses to be a pawn for the Capitol, Katniss pretends to be a rule-follower and in love with the man of the Capitol’s choosing. But it isn’t enough, and to further punish her, the Capitol announces that for the 75th Hunger Games, the male and female tributes will be selected from the pool of previous victors.

As the only female victor from District 12, Katniss has no choice but to face the arena again. This time she knows the Capitol will stop at nothing to kill her. But behind her back, a rebellion has been forming, an alliance of inside players whose goal is to keep The Girl Who Was On Fire alive.

These Games play out very differently from the previous ones, and come to an unexpected and shocking end when the rebellion inside and outside the arena reaches full scale. In “Mockingjay,” very few know for sure whether The Girl Who Was On Fire is alive or dead, but she has unwittingly become the face of a revolution.

The remaining tributes from the 75th Games who were whisked by the rebels to their new seat of military force, District 13, deal with heavy PTSD, while the ones who remain the clutches of the Capitol are tortured and forced to make pleading television appearances begging for the uprising to come to an end.

This book is a tale of two halves: the first of coming to grips with the horrible things in the past and becoming resolute on what needs to happen in the future, and the second holds a military campaign to overthrow the Capitol once and for all.

I actually preferred the first half of the book, because it was very real for what our characters had gone through. Their tragedies were not carelessly overlooked. Plus reading about military assaults isn’t my cup of tea.

As the battles unfold, who is really trustworthy? Does the rebellion leadership have a better agenda than that of the Capitol? More sacrifices will be made, more lives will be lost, more surprising decisions will happen.

The conclusion, however, is satisfying, even if it didn’t include all the characters I wanted to still be alive at the end. This trilogy is a departure from what I normally read, but I was glad to go on this journey.

I like being challenged to think about liberty and freedom, and the very high price it can require. Would I risk everything if it was asked of me? What would I do if forced to make some of the decisions that Katniss and others face? I would hope to have the strength and faith to, as Peeta put it in the first book, not let it change who I really am.

“Keep your knife where you can reach it. Never, ever owe anyone anything. Nothing is free. Always construct a lie from a truth. Never, under any circumstances, reveal what or who matters to you. ” Though I know Adrienne Young already had some big titles to her name such as ‘The Girl the Sea Gave Back’ and ‘Sky in the Deep,’ I hadn’t actually read any of her work.

I’d been intrigued by both of those releases and simply not had the time to explore them, but when ‘Fable’ started showing up everywhere, I was determined not to let another one pass me by. Admittedly, I was afraid as much as people were hyping the novel, that it wouldn’t live up to the praise.

But I needn’t have worried. Fable, our main character, is the daughter of the most powerful trader in a dangerous place called the Narrows. At seventeen, she’s already lost her mother to the sea and the storms.

and been left on a cutthroat island of thieves with one goal. To survive. With nothing to hold onto other than the swift abandonment of her father after her mother’s drowning and his promise to give her what is hers if she can live and find her way home on her own, she has spent four years barely getting by.

“Miles away, where the moonlight touched the black seam of the horizon, the Lark lay beneath the waters of Tempest Snare. And no matter where I went, I’d never get home. Because home was a ship that was at the bottom of the sea, where my mother’s bones lay sleeping in the deep.

” An incredibly likeable character, Fable is a fighter. She fights for everything. She fights to eat, she fights to live, she fights to succeed in reuniting with her father. She fights for those who show her kindness.

She’s not afraid to take risks in order to achieve her goals, but she’s not completely stupid either. For the most part, those risks are calculated– (Complete review at Betwixt The Sheets. ) (I received this title as an ARC.

Thank you Netgalley and Wednesday Books for the e-arc. First of all, this is the first Adrienne Young book that I’ve read and I have to say that if either of her other novels are like this one then I’m sold.

Fable’s world is vibrant and sharp. Violent, but beautiful. I love being dropped down in into the middle of her story and unweaving the threads as you move along instead of a huge explanation at the beginning.

This story is almost nonstop movement which is what kept me hooked alongside the great writing and interesting story. I flew through this ARC without hesitation, enjoying the world and all of the characters.

I hope that the second one focuses more or less on the same characters with a vast variety of new locations.

Absolutely loved this read by Adrienne Young. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked up this book, however I was immediately captured by the beautiful writing, and the ever-developing story of Fable.

This book has strong female characters who are quick-witted and cut-throat, though we also get to experience their vulnerable side and learn of the secrets they keep guarded. I also loved how I was able to see the slow shift in Fable’s perspective to the world and people around her – beautifully written.

So, to start off. I loved the storyline and the world that Cashore created. However, I felt that it was missing something. I loved the seven kingdoms, and the idea of Graces and the whole two colored eye aspect.

but I don’t know. I wish certain things were explained a little more at parts. I think Cashore made the book a bit to ‘anti men’, anything girly or related to marriage is bad. It didn’t bother me to much because I love the storyline but it was noticeable.

I liked Po’s character, I feel like he grew with Katsa. The relationship was a bit to abrupt but that happens sometimes. I’m not sure how I felt about Bitterblue, she was just there. The “villian” only presented himself twice in the book, and when he did it was brief.

I wish the confrontation had been a bit different. maybe even more dramatic, or detailed and explained. Something. I loved the ending, and I won’t spoil anything so you will have to read the book to know what I’m talking about.

The pace of the book was good and sometimes fair. It is a good first novel, and I liked the language but sometimes I felt like the character wasn’t in character. Or not as much of the language during one chapter as in the next.

Maybe it was just me. I like the cover but I wouldn’t say that I love it. (I tend to be picky when it comes to covers. )I picked this book up at the library, I had no idea what the book was about and I hadn’t read any reviews so I wasn’t expecting anything.

I’m kind of glad I didn’t know anything about this book. I don’t think I would have liked it as much if I had high hopes for it going into it. I really do like this book and I will be continuing with the series.

I give this book a 3 out of 5.

This is the first of this author’s work that I have read, and I will definitely be reading more. I loved the premise of the story, and the world building is great. What I wasn’t a huge fan of is the female lead and how “wonderful” she is.

I prefer my characters to have flaws, and grow throughout their individual arcs, I just don’t feel the author did Kasta any favours thus far.

I love this book and would give it a 5 star if I was shipped the item I thought I was buying. By that I mean I wanted to purchase Cashore’s Graceling series with the new cover art like in the pic, and instead was sent the old cover art twice.

I returned and tried to order it again and got old cover art. Was very upset and frustrated. But love the series 😁.

Answers some questions remaining after reading the other books in the Lunar Chronicles.

Marissa Meyer never ceases to please. These after-thoughts on the Lunar Chronicles were magical and perfect.

I love the book! Sadly I had to order it online instead of in the store.

This was a great dark academia novel! This is a novel about the main character, Stevie, attempting to solve Ellingham Academy’s famous mystery. When the Academy first opened, the founder and his family faced a tragic fate.

Their lives, a mystery to many for a generation, fascinated Stevie. Now, that she’s attending the Academy, she’s determined to find out what happened to the founder all those years ago. The main character was smart and interesting.

Her goal was to solve the mystery and she actively does whatever she can to reach her goal. There’s so much intrigue and mystery surrounding the Academy and it almost makes me wish I was studying there as well.

The secondary characters, the locations and all the ambition in this novel were executed perfectly. This novel also has some great portrayals of mental illness/ mental health. Highly recommended.

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson is a tantalising mystery with interesting, contemporary characters and a fascinating setting. My only criticism about the book is that it’s part of a series (with the mystery not solved until the third book), but the fault is with me for not doing more research!.

A great start to a trilogy. I finished the series in about a week. I DEVOURED these books. They’re kooky, charming, and relatable, all while also going back to the silver age of Hollywood.

I don’t want me third grader reading about “eating disorders”, throwing up, panic attacks, anxiety , bullying, puberty, and seeing a therapist. I don’t know how it has so many stars and other parents are ok this being put into a young mind.

Back it goes. The other books talk about kissing , spin the bottle and teen drama. 3rd grader does not need to read about this kind of stuff. Their minds are impressionable and need to focus on positive things.

This book is about fear, anxiety, bullying, and early teen / tween drama. The majority of the main characters are in therapy, parents are of little support, bullies are excused from bad behavior. Menstruation is portrayed as something that makes one ill, cramped and moody.

It was also poorly written and has no particular literary value. The only good news is that it shows good friendships between girls and there is no boy drama. Unfortunately, boys are also pretty irrelevant in the book.

I can see how it might be useful for someone who lacks empathy or is coping with an anxiety disorder.

My daughter fell in love with Raina Telgmeier in 3rd grade. I’ll be honest. I am NOT a fan of graphic novels as a general rule. My ego says I need to raise readers. and I have. I relented on Smile as she was reading so many other books as well.

Now she is 13 and I can tell you that these books have really given her a friend and a confidante as she has navigated the hazardous tween/teen years! She has found herself in each of these books and we are grateful!.

I bought this series for my son-in-law’s birthday and he was thrilled with his present. He thinks Harlan Coben is brilliant. He was very pleased with his present.

Absolutely awesome price for an amazing author

“Three little girls fell through a crack in the world. ” When Iris Hollow was seven, she and her two older sisters, Grey and Vivi, were missing for a month. When they returned, they couldn’t remember where they’d been or what happened to them.

Now, a decade later, the past is intruding on their present and their lives will never be the same. “Dark, dangerous things happened around the Hollow sisters. ” I’ve been obsessed with this cover for months and now I’m equally obsessed with the Hollow sisters.

This story is dark but somehow still gorgeous. I both loved and was wary of the intense bond between these sisters. It was a compulsive read and the imagery was almost tangible. I don’t think I’ve ever been more relieved that a book didn’t come with Smell-O-Pages.

I absolutely adored this book and want to gush about each of the sisters, their history, the imagery, the horror and the beauty. However, this is one of those books where the less you know going in the better.

Get to know the Hollows and let their world unfurl around you. Just be prepared for them to get under your skin, whichever way you choose to interpret that. “I am the thing in the dark. ” Content warnings are included on my blog.

Not only is the cover to House of Hollow gorgeous, it is a five star read. A mysterious, haunting, dark urban fairytale that had me hooked! Krystal Sutherland creates a world that is so deceptive and unnerving yet completely intriguing and enchanting.

The story of three sisters with an all encompassing bond that is more than meets the surface. When the ethereal older sister Grey goes missing, how can younger sisters Vivi and Iris not go after her? And how would they ever know the rabbit hole she will lead them down.

And do they really want to know the truth of what happened to them as children? To say this story goes to a dark place, is an understatement. And if you love eerie and atmospheric YA like me, than this is perfect for you.

I could not put this book down and was constantly at the edge of my seat. After I finished my read, all I could think was, when is the Netflix adaptation?.

“I am the thing in the dark. ” Three children disappear under the watchful gaze of their parents only to return a month later changed in unsettling ways and with no memories of what happened. House of Hollow is a richly intoxicating novel that leaves the reader enchanted and unable to put the book down as if it were heavily coated in glue.

The story is a dark and beautifully twisted fairy tale of haunted places and strange ‘doors that lead somewhere else’. All the characters are wonderfully crafted and full to the brim with there own secrets.

Secrets that Krystal Sutherland has fabricated perfectly and answered sparingly to have the reader needing to know more every time they turn the page. Krystal Sutherland is a talented author who has perfected dark fairy tale horror and created a terrifying yet achingly alluring story that grows more and more sinister as time goes on.

I heavily recommend this to anyone who is a fan of stories full of gripping suspense and who can watch horror movies and still sleep at night. It don’t usually read books more than once (because there is just so many of them out there to read) but House of Hollow will definitely be going on my read again pile.

While the ending was perfectly rounded to leave readers satisfied, i still dream that Krystal Sutherland will grace us with a sequel and that one day her tale will become a Netflix original short series that i will, undeniably, watch over and over if it contains anything like the perfection of suspense the book provides.

While those in District 12 toil in the coal mines want for even the most basic necessities like food and shuffle along through days blanketed in gray and despair the Capital shines its citizen decked out in wild fashions feasting on delicacies and gleefully looking forward to a group of teenagers being forced to kill or be killed in an arena filled with unimaginable hazards ó and cameras to broadcast the ‘fun.

‘ But she’s up against people who’ve trained their whole lives to win the Games not to mention a few who are far too young to be subjected to this kind of violence. And PeetaÖ they don’t really know each other but he gave her food once when she had nothing and he’s as much of a friend as anyone can be in a situation where you’re supposed to kill everyone else.

How is she supposed to survive physically much less emotionally when the only way she can walk out with her life is to kill even him? But. There’s an incredible sense of despair throughout the book which while purposely there can really drag a reader down.

It’s not reason enough to avoid the story but make sure you wait until you’re in the mood for angst and drama before picking this one up. But really the only thing I didn’t like about the story was Katniss’s distance from any positive emotions.

She’s alternately angry and sad and depressed and resolved but never is she truly happy. Again it is absolutely necessary due to the nature of the story (not to mention the dystopian world in which she lives) but it’s a tough emotional read when everything is fear and loss and fighting for survival.

Still Katniss fights on in the face of almost certain death so perhaps its that personal strength that I should be respecting instead. The Verdict. Truly an incredible story. Dystopian isn’t my usual fare though I dip in every now and then but I’ve never read anything like this.

Veronica Roth has created a world so different from our own yet where inherent human flaws are brightly paralleled in both the Games and the people. The disparities in wealth the shallowness of those living in the capital the exploitation of the underprivileged and the extreme lengths to which those in power will go to remain in control.

It’s altogether fascinating and frightening with a little love triangle thrown in for good measure. Because post apocalyptic or not teenagers will always find someone to crush on.

The Huger Games is the first book in The Hunger Games trilogy. The Hunger Games trilogy is written by Suzanne Collins, a very well renounced author of the twenty-first century. This novel takes place in a dystopian futuristic time period in the country of Panem, previously known as North America.

The nation is split into twelve, very unhealthy districts, all ruled by one very wealthy, thriving capitol. Discovered by the capitol due to the rebellious nature of the lesser districts, The Hunger Games are now an annual event in which two tributes are drafted in the ‘reaping’ to compete in the games and fight one another to the death.

Confined to a manmade arena and inhumane living conditions, the tributes are challenged to be the sole survivor and rewarded with their life. The tributes from District twelve, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, are the spotlight of the book.

I would definitely recommend this book someone else. I think specifically to anyone in high school or older, and anyone who’s into fantasy, thriller, with a twist of romance. The Hunger Games had me on edge throughout the entire book, with excitement on every page.

I never wanted to put the book down!.

This is my second read through of this book and it was just as good as the first time. I loved how conflicted Katniss was between Peeta and Gale. I loved how engaged the action kept me. Even the second time through I had to know what was happening next.

The Hunger Games truly stands the test of time and is still in my all time favorite books.

There were no cheaper options when buying this book but I think it’s to do with it being fairly new. But after buying all the other books in the series for less than £3, I’m not complaining!

This book is an amazing sequel to Legend. I read Legend as an audiobook and thoroughly enjoyed that so I wanted to own the series, and luckily enough I do! The plot Prodigy was something I was not expecting, and the ending hurt my heart and left me confused as to how Champion will go.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes action and dystopian. Buy it, read it, love it.

My daughter loved this book. She’s always reading and it’s nice to see her eyes flare up with excitement when she’s reading. She’s a preteen so sometimes that is the only time she’s smiling.

Helen was surprised to find a great person and friend in Sully. Sully was surprised to find that Helen and he not much in common except needing a friend and confident. They both fell for the other and in the end could not do without the other.

Helen’s niece , Dr. Leigh, could not bring herself to commit to a man she was deeply in love with. Rob Shadon, the pub owner, fell deeply for Leigh. Having already raised 2 sons , he was really astounded when Leigh presented him with her little surprise!! Great book.

Highly recommended.

I just started reading Robyn Carr’s books and really enjoy them. I’m almost finished with the Sullivan Crossings series. I like the variety of characters and how she tells each of their stories. If you’re looking for a little something different in a “chick” book I recommend her writing.

I loved this book. I have read all the books in this series. Her characters are real and face real situations the rest of us are facing. I always look for a Robyn Carr book.

This book was fantastic. The finale to this trilogy closed the loose ends but did leave me wishing the story would continue. I look forward to anything else this author writes.

I have read the full series. The first book, Caraval, is the best. This one is quite good too if you enjoy magic and romance. I could live without the romance, but I love the magic!

I had no idea where this story would go after Legendary, and I couldn’t think of a better ending to this trilogy than Finale! Amazing book!

So. I buy every Sanderson book regardless as I mostly love his work. The first book of this series is awesome, second one is OK and then the third is tedious. read then because I can’t quit halfway between a series.

I’d heard a lot of good things about this series so I was eager to read it once I realized I could being that it was on my challenge list to get through before YallFest. I love a story with unique traits and this book definitely has those.

Just before chapter one Noel provides a list of auras” and what they represent. I thought that was pretty cool and found myself going back to that list every time a color was mentioned so I could tell what the person was feeling before it was actually revealed by their thoughts.

I loved almost all of the characters in this book as well. Ever has a cool name and a great personality to go with it but at the same time she has her weak moments like every other teenage girl. Even though she isn’t mentioned in the synopsis her sister Riley is fun as well.

I don’t want to give too many details but Riley pops in a lot and I really enjoyed her spunky attitude. I wasn’t too fond of Ever’s friend Haven at first but after learning a bit about her past and the reasoning behind the way she is she kinda grew on me.

Miles is probably my favorite character. He is gay outspoken and a gem all around. I also didn’t like Damen in the beginning but he redeems himself towards the end. The only person I hated was Drina but trust me you’ll hate her too.

She’s just the kind of person you want to stab in the eye with a dull pencil. Stacia too. Ugh I hate chicks like that. Anyway the story line is very unique. When Damen first showed up the whole thing reminded me of Twilight which bothered me but once it get more in depth with the background story it made up for it.

I love when every random thing ends up fitting together somehow and Noel has done an amazing job with the details. I’m about to finish the second book and I am really looking forward to how the series pans out.

I gave this book 4 stars. While the characters and the story are both very interesting it didn’t have that IT factor that gave it the full 5. However now that I’ve learned a bit about the story and background I have to read the spin off series from Riley’s point of view.

So even though this isn’t the most amazing book I’ve read in my life Noel has my attention and I will continue reading on to find out what happens. “.

Evermore is a great book for those who like adventure mixed with fantasy. It brings a twist to the average teenage love story of high school romance. The author’s writing style is very entertaining and helps keep the reader engaged.

Lastly, even though Ever has some “unique” traits, she is still quite relatable as a teenage girl dealing with everyday dramas. I would recommend this book as it is so addicting that I personally bought the whole series.

This used to be one of my favorite books and I recently reread it and it’s still a very intriguing story! I enjoy all the characters (although some are a bit angsty for my taste) and the “fantasy” element really makes for an entertaining read.

The only thing that bothered me was maybe too much repetition, but I absolutely love the romance of their story! Does have a twilight sort of feel to it, but I would recommend checking out this book/series!.

Amazing read, I love all the homage it pays to the original Teen Titans comics and modernizes it. Takes many aspects of her original struggles and puts them in a more realistic environment. Absolutely love the development from this and it’s second book beastboy.

It is really setting up an amazing universe to expand on and I am excited for more!.

A wonderful book with a fabulous storyline that has both a fun and serious tone to it. I’ve read this book many times, and it never gets old. I dare call this a book that is near to perfect, because everything fits together perfectly.

Old fans will be delighted to read something that truly honors Raven, and new fans will find it a good introduction to the Teen Titans.

I love the art style in this book. It’s calming and the panels don’t get crowded like so many comic books tend to do these days. I also love the storyline. I can’t wait to read it again
