20 Best Self Tanners For Face (2023 Updated)

I mix a few drops of this self-tanner with Cerave body lotion and it does distribute well (I have not used on it’s own). There are a few spots the following day that are probably obvious self-tanning application mishaps, but likely that’s a “me” issue.

There is absolutely a smell, and to me (as a 31y/o millennial who has been enticed by self-tanners for many moons) it is directly associated to self-tanner. When I am using, I get a little self conscious of hugging my loved ones because I feel the smell is so obvious that they will know that my natural-looking tan is very unnatural (noting here that yes I think it looks quite natural!).

I hate painting my nails, and this absolutely stains my nails no matter how much a scrub my hands after application. Short nails or painted nails it is when this product is in rotation. Bonus: it has never rubbed off on clothes/sheets! Tl;dr: expect a self-tanner scent, use with a lotion such as Cerave, does not transfer to clothing, expect one shade darker and nothing dramatic (I’ve never had a friend say “omg you look so tan!” which to me is the ultimate test in the dead of winter in New England).

I loved the face version of this so decided to try the body. I love that I can mix it with my own body lotion and it dries a bit faster then foams but that’s where the pros end. I’ve tried it 3 times now, each time applied more thoroughly then the last but always turns out blotchy.

The tan colour itself is not natural looking, definitely has orange tones. This self tanner is not forgiving, you have be extremely careful and diligent and even then blotches are still a possibility.

The tan takes a few hours to develop too so you can’t see if you’ve missed any spots until it’s too late. It last’s 2 days for me, I make sure to prep my skin before hand with a good exfoliator and moisturize every day.

As for the smell, it has a nice scent going on but as it dries it smells like every single self tanner I’ve ever tried, there’s no escaping that lingering fake tan smell, it’s one of the ingredients.

All self tanners try to mask it with their own formulated scent but as it dries you will notice that classic fake tan smell. Would also like to note that I am very fair skinned and didn’t find the medium/dark tan too be too much.

I was a bit concerned it wouldn’t look right on me. I think I’ll be sticking to foam tans.

Ya’ll. This product and the THE BODY drops have made self-tanning such an easy addition into my routine. When I was using other self tanning products, I’d have to plan around my shower schedule so I could make sure I’d be able to shower the morning after applying products, and I was constantly going to bed sticky and praying I wouldn’t stain my comforter.

Now I add a couple tanning drops to my facial moisturizer or face sunscreen every few days, and I can maintain a natural glow for weeks without even really thinking about it. I love the light/medium for a natural looking tan that just makes it seem like my summer tan isn’t ever going to fade.

It is buildable, but if you want a deeper glow I would go for the darker shade. I’ve found it works best if you put your moisturizer/whatever you are adding it to in your palm, then add your drops and mix it in with your other pointer finger.

Then apply all over your face, making sure to rub it into your hairline and down your neck. I’ve never experienced any streaking. The DHA smell is mild, I don’t think there is any way to avoid it with self-tanning products, so I didn’t mind the smell.

I switched from the Ulta brand self-tan mist to this one and this one really surprised me! The Ulta one smelled cheap and left me orange if I accidentally over-applied, but this stuff actually works! My skin looks naturally glowy and warm instead of orange and dull after using this.

I usually moisturize, spray 3-4 mists of this on various parts of my face and rub in evenly with my fingertips. It dried quickly and doesn’t smell atrocious like most self tans do. You will notice your beautiful glow within a few short hours! I also recommend adding another face mist on top of it or SPF because it will leave your skin a tad tacky.

I rub this in, use Mario Badescu rose water and go. Other than the tacky texture, I love this stuff!.

This product is super hydrating, so buyer beware if you have oily skin! I have dry to normal skin, so this is the perfect addition to my nighttime routine. My skin is also very fair, so I notice a difference in the morning after using it.

I love that I get a nice, very light tan by the morning. Not orange at all. I have to use more than 2 sprays though (instructions states 2-3 sprays, but I do about 4 to notice a nice glowing colour by the morning).

I love the smell too, it doesn’t smell like self tanner at all. It is super hydrating though, and I broke out just a little tiny bit on my forehead the first time I used it. So now I just don’t apply as much face cream after washing my face, because the spray will add the extra hydration.

And after doing that, my skin stopped breaking out! I have officially added this product to my daily nighttime routine and couldn’t be happier.

I really wasn’t sure about this product to be honest. I have a huge Rubbermaid tub of products received from subscription boxes. I just kind of threw it in there and forgot about it. I was going through the tub, and found this…why did I not try it earlier??? It’s amazing.

I did my full skin care routine, then hesitantly sprayed it on my face. Let it dry and went to bed. HELLO morning!! I had a beautiful amount of colour, evenly distributed on my face. My tan from Mexico in April was back, and frankly, nicer! I rarely ever leave reviews, but I am in love with this stuff.

I also have the Isle of Paradise drops you can use with your body moisturizer. No streaking, or blotching at all. I don’t use it every day, just every few days so I don’t go overboard. I’m fair skinned, and I like the natural look.

I can definitely see how it would be problematic for those with oily, or acne prone skin may not find this suitable for them.

Iv been a model and beauty influencer for years and I often receive products from companies but rarely ever end up using them. But I must say I was super impressed with the sunlabs brand. I had a bikini photo shoot and had uneven tan lines from the summer I applied the lotion on my white areas with the mitt and it blended in perfectly! You literally could see no difference between my natural tan an the fake tan! Since then it’s been my go to sunless tanner.

Even my photographers comment on how my fake tan is not orange like a lot of other models they shoot. It last me about a week with just one application and it smells great I strongly recommend this product.

I have tried so so many different tanning products because I have really pale skin and this is the best product I have tried! Not only is it not streaky, it is so easy to apply especially when you use the glove and there is no odor.

I have really oily skin too and this makes me feel hydrated instead of feeling oily. I definitely recommend!.

It’s a lovely hydrating gel, but even on my very pale skin the color was hardly noticeable. I wouldn’t buy it again. I thought I will give it a try as I really love Sensai’s sun protection and after sun cream.

But there are better products if more deeper tan is what someone’s looking for.

Ive been looking for something since Lancme discontinued the flash bronzer. Based on the reviews and the price I was expecting great things. This hardly does anything and I cant see much difference from the cheap gradual tanners on the market.

Im quite pale with freckles so I dont need a lot to have a glow. I wasted my money on this purchase.

I have extremely fair skin (sometimes foundations the most fair shade in a neutral undertone are too dark for me!). I am also very cautious about sunscreen application because of skin cancer and aging, so I have no natural tan at all.

I have been through brand after brand and formula type after formula type through the years. I’ve always liked Bondi Sands. And I’ve gotten better at foam application now–I can do my whole body in 5 minutes, plus a little help for my back.

The Light/Medium is perfect. I started applying it early April this year. Since then, I’ve been asked by many friends, acquaintances that I see regularly, etc. what I am wearing because it looks so natural.

I do think that skin preparation and taking care of your skin after application makes a huge difference in the finished product and extending the life of the tan, like any other tanning product. I absolutely recommend this one because it doesn’t dry too fast, but it doesn’t stay wet and sticky for a more than a few minutes, which I love.

I haven’t had problems with transfer that stains, plus Bondi Sands makes a gradual lotion that helps extend the tan. My only caveat is that my legs tend to hold the tan better than my upper body, no matter how much I moisturize my upper body, so I end up doing my upper body two nights in a row, usually, or redoing it more often.

However, that likely varies person to person.

the five stars is just because there is no bad hot pee tanner smell. the smell is really mellow and it smells more like something tropical but not coconut. I love that I don’t smell like hot pee while I’m sleeping.

the only thing I would say about this color is that it is the most amazing Brown. there is no orange and I have used so many drugstore tanning sprays and lotions that turn me orange because I have such fair skin.

this tanning spray stays a very beautiful bronze and makes me look sunkissed. I am super white but the color even though it says it is dark I don’t think is dark enough and I like a natural looking tan that is not too dark.

if I’m going to buy this one then I would use one application for the winter time so I don’t look crazy tan and then for the summer I would do the double application that it talks about on the back of the bottle.

you are supposed to tan all over and then 30 minutes later tan again and then not wash it off for at least 8 hours. I for summer would recommend doing the second application but the nice thing is if you’re worried about turning yourself too dark then you can buy this tanning mousse in dark and then if it doesn’t come out dark enough you can do the second application like you’re supposed to do.

I think $20 is hella expensive but id pay it just so i dont have to smell like cheap crap. haha I would definitely buy this again!.

I recently went on vacay and got an airbrush tan, plus sun tan and I wanted an option to maintain my color throughout summer and maybe beyond, without having to pay cost of salon tanning or exposing my skin to harmful sun rays.

I purchased Bondi sands after reading an article where it was rated as the top self tanner. I havent used self tanner since my middle/early high school days when I think Jergen’s was al there was and I havent tanned in a bed since college.

I bought this in the shade dark (since already working with a base tan) from my local Walgreens + the mitt and had my husband apply it for me. This was his first time ever doing this and the application was easy enough for a guy.

The product glided on smoothly and was very easy to blend/build up. I left on overnight and showered in the morning with slightly cold water and my tan was ready to go. I cant speak to the longevity of this product yet but application and result are great.

Pay very close attention to in between the fingers and areas with lines, we didnt quite blend enough between my fingers so I have some patchy areas. Also be careful with back of neck when sleeping as may stain sheets!.

Love these tan drops. They’re so perfect for giving a natural bronzed base without make-up. I use them before bed then cleanse in the morning and have a glow for a few days afterwards. Really nice to wear before going on a sun holiday and doesn’t clog pores/come out blotchy!.

I’ve tried so many tanning drops and this is the BEST formulation I’ve tried. It works quickly, it hydrated my skin and leaves me with an amazing glow! Would highly recommend!

I have been using this for a while now in combination with St. Tropez/LovingTan self-tanners, and I must say it’s an amazing product! It’s gives you a subtle glow that you can build on and maintain with regular use, and doesn’t smell awful like most self-tanners.

Also, it goes on nicely and doesn’t leave a mess after you wash your face. In order to apply this correctly, you must exfoliate gently, wash and dry your face, wait about ten minutes and then apply. When applying, start with cheek area and span it outward, almost as though you were trying to blend in a foundation.

Then tackle the T-zone regions, again blending it outward. You should be going towards the hairline in the forehead and temple region in order to ensure an even look. Let it dry and enjoy!.

Purchased this little bottle of magic to try. Soft rapidly absorbed serum. Put just a little on my skim in the evening. Woke up with a gorgeous sunkissed face. Definitely recommend

I love this product since I am so pale during the winter. I love the colour this provides. However, I’m only giving this three stars because unfortunately this does make me break out. I really wish it didn’t bc I love this product so much.

If you don’t have sensitive skin I think this will work great for you. Otherwise think of maybe trying something else.

In reference to my title “why are you so orange?” this was a question posed to me by my grandmother when she saw me this morning and sadly I’m in agreement with her HOWEVER it doesn’t mean this is an entirely bad product and I will explain why.

Firstly and perhaps most importantly (for me anyway) is Bondi Sands stance on what it means for a product to be pure. with the rise in products containing natural ingredients, being vegan friendly and containing responsibly sourced ingredients brands have started demonising chemicals such as parabens and fragrance which are perfectly safe for use on skin by calling them “nasties” and “toxic”.

Bondi Sands Pure pertains mostly to it’s responsibly sourced and recyclable packaging saying that you can pop the bottle straight in the recycling bin when it’s done, they’ve also made it clear that the ingredients they’ve left out are ingredients that are troubling for some individuals such as fragrance- some people find fragrance triggers migranes for them for example but fragrance is of course skin safe.

It was refreshing to see a well known brand being responsible with the word Pure and what it means for their products. Now a little disclaimer before I talk about application, I did a weeks worth of preparation, I moisturised daily, exfoliated a couple times, shaved and made sure dry areas were moisturised prior to tan application but I do have an ongoing issue with Keratosis Pilaris (KP) think chicken skin but as a skin condition.

I’ve had this since having my baby last year and I’m trying to tackle it but this can be an issue when it comes to the overall finish of a self tan. The instructions are printed crystal clear on the back of the product’s very attractive bottle, nice easy steps, just squeeze straight onto the skin and distribute in sweeping motions using a mitt.

The thing is the formula doesn’t contain a guide colour so it’s very tricky to judge where you’ve been and whether you’ve put enough on certain areas, this was a particular problem when it came to my wrists, typically I would use a large buffing brush and using a small amount of product I would blend the product into my wrists, hands, ankles and knees, this has always worked well for me but I kind of felt blind with this product.

The formula has no artificial fragrance it just smells of chemicals but in a good way, initially I couldn’t detect the typical stuffy self tan smell but as it developed and even now a few days later I get little a whiff of it here and there- nothing on the level of a typical self tan though.

Alas I was satisfied that I had covered the whole of my body and waited about 5 minutes before I felt it was “touch dry” a vast improvement on the 15 minutes I would wait with a typical self tan. About 3 hours into development I didn’t really notice much of a change, I’m quite pale normally and I still felt quite pale, I could detect something of a glow on my arms but nothing much was happening below my shoulders.

After about 6 hours it’s like I went from subtle glow to errrr. tanned we’ll say- LOOSELY. The colour didn’t develop very evenly, there were the tale tale signs on my wrists and my knuckles, my knees were a bit of an obvious giveaway, the colour didn’t take to some of my mid section particularly well, there are bands going across my tummy that took the tan and there are bands that are paler.

I didn’t take the product to my face, instead I opted to use the spray and I’m pleased to say both formulations worked in cohesion with eachother, there were no obvious signs on my neck that show any sort of shade intensity change from where I used the spray, it just blended together nicely.

The thing is though I could be quite happy with the faults this product has presented, from the tale tale signs on my wrists, knuckles and knees to the awkward banding on my torso, but the developed shade is not suited to my skin tone.

I’m pale, there’s no two ways about it, I’m usually one of the first three palest shades in any foundation with a tiny bit yellow warming me up and this product is quite obviously orange on me, not offensively orange where I dare not go out in public but enough to know I’m getting ribbed about it by the family, I’m more than happy to see this application through to the end without hiding though.

The tan started to crack on my hands within the first day due to covid hand washing, this can’t be avoided but I’m pleased to say that the tan is holding up well, it didn’t obliterate into scales despite the continued washing, and as promised by the brand who says the transparent formula means it won’t transfer onto fabrics I can hand on heart say this has been true for me, I sleep in white bedding, wear white sports bras and white tops and haven’t found any transfer.

If you’re already somewhat naturally tanned this will be a great product for you, but for me the shade was off and that’s quite a significant factor in a self tan, it also made my KP appear a lot more red than usual.

Fortunately I feel I can make use of this product still by topping up other self tans and/or adding depth to natural tans in the Summer.

Love love love this product. So much so that I bought another set and my little sister bought one too after trying the face mask. I have Scandinavian skin and so tanning doesn’t come easily for me, even with lots of effort.

So sunless tanners are always something that I like to use every year in the spring to take away my natural white glow so as not to blind everyone. I have struggled to find a “clean” product that actually works and that doesn’t smell HORRIBLE! Now, this does have that distinct “pretzel like” smell to it BUT it is VERY VERY light compared to pretty much every other sunless tanning product I’ve ever used.

Believe me, I can’t handle the smell usually so I always put mine I’m at night then shower in the am to wash the stank off. This one, I didn’t feel like I HAVE to do that. The face mask is amazing! I’ve started using it regularly and now I don’t even use any foundation.

Now, I will say the color fades pretty quickly. But, it fades evenly so tbh I don’t care. I’ve used other products that fade in patches and they always make me feel blotchy even if at first they weren’t.

This one is not blotchy after putting it on or after it fading. This is my new go to and I’ve told lots of friends about it who have started cleaning up their skincare routine too!.

I followed the directions on the bottle exactly, between using the right hand motions to spread out the product, how to prepare skin beforehand and how long to leave it on. 1. while putting it on, it was impossible to tell where I had already applied the product (like, if I had any missing spots) because it goes on clear.

2. I used the same level of darkness I always use in the foam version. This product turned me carrot orange, and literally is impossible to scrub off my skin. I’ve been using self-tan remover every single day for a week, and its still super patchy, ugly and not budging.

I work in a hospital, so I’m constantly washing my hands and using heavy-duty sanitizer. I have a nickel-sized spot of tanner that somehow ended up on my palm. I have no idea how its still there. 3. it said to wait until the product was touch-dry before putting on any clothes.

It took me 45 minutes to an hour, standing in a well-ventilated room, in front of a box fan, before I was able to dress. The bottle said 15 minutes. I swear I didn’t over apply any product, I have no idea why it took so long! Very disappointed in this product.

I always loved all of their other ones, but this stuff is useless and a waste of money. For the love of God, please, please, do not buy this.

I have used this fo going on a year now, the milky lotion is definitely my favourite although I do like the gel as it develops quicker. However this lotion lasts much longer and fades so easily. O was nervous try this at first as I was used to mouse’s and had an accident with the clarins tan drops streaking on my arms.

But I apply this with my hands wash them thoroughly and then take a cotton pad and put a tiny bit on my hands with hand cream. Perfect tan everyone, a golden colour not muddy. Love love love. Please make in a larger bottle !!.

Amazing! The colour is natural and looks so good on my skin. I’m very white and don’t want to look orange and overly tanned. One light application was enough for me. It smells great and doesn’t stain my bed.

My legs weren’t sticky during the night and woke up very happy with the look. I know it’s on but people wouldn’t be able to notice and that’s the secret of a good tan. Finally something I feel confident using very happy to buy over and over.

Actually I will ! Hope it stays as a permanent product.

Excellent product beautifully packaged. I have struggled to find a self tanner that looked subtle but had a noticeable impact but this really is excellent. Also the product doesn’t dry the skin but actually improves the texture.

First time of use my face went very orange and every skin shade variation was multiplied so I looked blotchy! Terrible product for fair skin. Waste of money. I will NOT be using it ever again!

I already wrote a review about this that for some reason wasn’t posted. I received a bottle of these drops after using SkinnyTan body tanner for a couple years now. When it arrived, it had some sort of chunks floating in it, and what looked like mold forming on the inside of the top part of the bottle above where the liquid sits.

Customer service was extremely prompt and helpful, which is why I gave 2 stars. They had me send a photo of the batch number, and then sent me a replacement product. That second bottle arrived today, and had the SAME thing, but worse! One of the floating pieces looks like it could be a grub of some kind.

I am so grossed out, especially because if this product was in an opaque bottle like the rest are, I would have put this on my face. I’m now wondering if this is a common occurrence with their products and that I can just see it because of the clear bottle.

I am so bummed, this is my favorite self tanner and I absolutely love the tanning and toning liquid, but I’m now so sketched out because I can’t see inside the bottle. I’m not sure if I just have terrible luck and received the only instances of this.

These are great. I’ve always had a problem tanning my face as I’ll never expose it to the sun and could never quite get my face colour to match my chest colour, even using my regular skinny tan products.

I simply add about 10 drops to my moisturiser every night and they do their thing. If it looks like it’s getting too dark by the end of the week I miss a night. A lot of face tanning products actually dry your face but these don’t.

Never ever used a tanning solution on my face before as I usually have acne prone skin but thought I’d be brave and give this a try. You only need a drop or two as it can be very dark the more drops you use.

I use this once a week or so or whenever I need some glow, mix it with your finger with a blob of your moisturiser and massage into your face in an upwards motion. I do this on an evening and by the morning my skin is looking so glowy! It doesn’t cause me any spots or blemishes and has a lovely faint scent, nothing horrible or over powering.

I would definitely recommend!.

Used for the first time the other evening adding 2 drops to my night-time moisturiser. What I liked about the formulation of it it is how easy it is to work with: you’re there wanting to make a mixture with cream you’ve got on your fingers, and the drops.

What’s great is when you add however many drops you want onto the cream that’s on your fingers, it doesn’t just roll off and drip into the sink, it just stays there so you can rub your fingers together and apply it to your skin which is very helpful indeed.

It doesn’t mean that the drops are very thick and oily or greasy because they aren’t. Compared to trying to use other types of self tan on my face these drops are completely non-streaky and gave a very nice glow.

Very controllable to meet different people’s preferences and genius to just be able to add it to your existing cream of choice.

Great product! I’ve been adding 2 drops into my daily moisturizer and it gives my face a natural, glowing tan. The bottle/dropper is convenient and the product smells great. I was worried about looking/feeling greasy but it doesn’t do that at all.

I have much more confidence going without makeup.

I mix just a few drips into my moisturiser at night and I wake up in the morning with a lovely glow and colour. Really reccomend this product. It doesnt break me out either. Will deffo be buying more when I run out! I’m not overlly keen on the smell but its not overpowering and you can’t smell it when it’s on the face.

I wonder. Could this be the tanner I have been searching for most of my adult life! For now let’s just say it’s the best one I have tried yet. the colour develops well after 2 or so hours. I applied it liberally after reading the reviews.

It’s not so intense that you look tango’d just a warm golden glow. I think what I love most about it (and for me this is important) is that it doesn’t dry out your skin like sooo sooo many other tanners out there.

Even after a night out (lockdown eased of course) I didn’t look “dried out” despite being dehydrated. I’m loving this tan. No horrible smell that I could detect either. I think I might buy the body one too I’m so pleased.

I found an old sample of this in my bathroom cupboard and thought I would give it a go! In lockdown so no one going to see! Put it on and then forgot I had. Just looked in the mirror and I look a fabulous natural light tan colour.

Never used fake tan as always nervous of the orange look! I have brown eyes and pale eyebrows/lashes and dirty blonde hair (used to be very fair!) it’s amazing the natural tone of my new tan. I will definitely be buying this product.

I was looking for an easy to apply self tanning lotion and settled on this based on the good reviews. The first time I applied the lotion there were no visible results and yet after an hour or so I could definitely smell the usual smell that goes with self tan.

I reapplied the following evening but this time added a few drops of Aesop geranium body oil, that got rid of the smell but still no real visible results. After the third application, all of a sudden my legs looked very lightly tanned.

The results, when they finally appear, are lovely and very natural looking. Not sure I’d repurchase though.

This facial self tanner has everything you could want in a self tanner. The smell dissipates after it is rubbed in and the cream absorb nicely. I used it in place of my normal moisturizer and I didn’t feel like the moisture was lacking.

This left a nice, natural-looking glow, however it was very subtle so it took a few applications to achieve my desired result. I will say it is very pricey for what it does, although it was light and didn’t have the drawbacks of most high street self tanners.

I probably wouldn’t purchase this in full size given the price because the same results can be achieved with more affordable products.

If I don’t use a fake tan on my face I look ill! But I can never find a good time to apply it ie when I know my face definitely won’t be touching anything eg my hand or a pillow. The Sisley cream is brilliant in this respect because I put it on in the morning underneath my moisturiser & there’s no fuss whatsoever.

It loses one star because it recommends that you use it 3-4x per week but that’s just not enough because it washes off too easily so I need to use it every day in order to maintain a nice light tan. It loses the second star because it’s overpriced imo.

(Doesn’t stop me buying it obviously – just makes it sting a bit when I do!!).

I received a 4ml size version of this from SpaceNK. I’m not a fan of tanning products but after some time decided to give it a try. I have pale skin but the colour is white so you don’t really see it going on.

It doesn’t really have a strong scent which I like but isn’t as moisturising as I like (although is fine once I apply my spf over it). You really don’t need much and a subtle, natural tan develops fairly quickly.

I won’t be buying as it’s not my thing and isn’t hydrating enough. However, that the 4ml size lasted for weeks, it’s actually very good value for money.

I picked this product up on a whim while at Target. I have been pleasantly surprised and very happy with this self tanner! First and most importantly, it does NOT have a funky smell like all self tanners.

I literally do not smell this at ALL – it doesn’t even smell coming out of the bottle. Secondly, it does not break me out. I have not seen any issues with my skin since using it. Third, it works! I have seen a gradual and NATURAL tan building and I love it! No streaks, no weird patches, and blending very nicely.

Super happy and impressed with this so far. I will definitely continue to use it to keep my face tan since I keep my face out of the sun as much as possible!.

I love sublime bronze. I have been using these self tanning drops for the entire summer. My face was very dull and pale for my liking. Within three days of using this product, i was pleased with the bright results.

It doesn’t act like a typical “self tanning” cream. Rather, it brightens up the skin bringing out a natural glow. It lives up a dull face for sure. ***My only advice:: if you have areas on your face that tend to get darker than the rest, avoid using the serum on that area.

It will only get darker. At one point i looked like I had a five o’clock shadow, lol. I stopped using the product in that area and within a few days i was back to normal. ***.

Very nice and clean formula. Spreads evenly across your skin when you follow the directions and mix 4-5 drops with a good lotion. Instantly you’ll look like you’ve been doing yard work for a couple hours and look great.

After 2 to 3 uses you start to see a nice tan poking through. After a week of daily uses, including showers and all that jazz, I look pretty damn good. I will be posting a before and after in a few days After I adjust my tan to the perfect hue.

Try this product if you’re thinking about installing a tanning booth in your home but are unsure of the costs lol.

It does the job for 2 days, and then it’s gone. It has a more orange-y tinge – which i noticed because it really differs from the Eco Sonya products I’d tried before and loved (which are more golden-brown).

Unfortunately, it really does get patchy around the knees, even if you’re trying to be careful. I got 3 whole-body applications from it, which I’m not sure is good or not? But for the length of time it stays on for, I wouldn’t spend that much money again.

Also, you can see how you have to really get the same consistent spread across your arms or you get streaks – which i found WAY easier to avoid with EcoSonya. The video shows what remains after 5 days – and the faint patches that linger even after a good scrub.

Personally, I’d have much preferred to have spent that money on a gradual self tanner instead.

I was amazed to see my pale winter skin go from white to a nice subtle tan. I applied it twice in one day and was satisfied enough with the shade. The lotion smells very nice and feels like good quality.

No streaks or mess. Still waiting to see how long it lasts but was too amazed to not post now. I did have to apply an extra coat on the neck plus very light areas like the underside of the arm. Bear in mind that you’ll need to apply it this way in order to achieve an even tan especially if your skin has various tones ( upper arm gets more sun exposure than underneath so naturally the skin tone varies in this way).

Have been pleasantly surprised by this self tanning lotion. I have very fair skin and this gives a nice, realistic colour that’s not too orange. It is buildable but one application does give a decent result and coverage.

Nice and moisturising too, I use a mitt to apply. Does smell a bit I’m afraid.

I LOVE this product. The oil smells so nice. The tan is gradual and super nice. I used this in hopes of replacing my foundation. It’s PERFECT! I intend to keep this in stock.

Habe ihn über Nacht verwendet, morgens abgewaschen, Haut eingecremt, geschminkt und fertig. Am Abend und an den nächsten 2 Tagen merkt man dann schon, dass die Haut sehr trocken geworden ist. Pickelmale und Unebenheiten werden dann noch mal mehr sichtbar.

Ich habe den Selbstbräuner weiter verschenkt da ich ihn nicht mehr benutze. Es gibt mit Sicherheit Leute die damit 100% zufrieden sind – muss halt jeder selbst ausprobieren. Ich würde Leuten mit unreiner Haut aber dringend davon abraten da Unebenheiten wirklich sehr unschön hervorgehoben werden!.
