My main purpose in buying this was to supplement the tanning to my face and my hands, as those can be kind of tricky to tan at times. I would suggest that you wrap your hair to avoid your hair turning orange.

And don’t forget to wipe off your eyebrows after spraying your face. The other thing that I would suggest is using a dry brush to spread out the tanning water evenly. See the Kabuki Tanner brush. This stuff feels like water but it is truly tanning water.

And watch out for skin tags or moles as they will also turn darker. Wash those off with plain water. I have found out that you can use this tanning water on other areas of your body like your arms and chest and legs.

Dudes, this is the best sunless tanner I’ve ever used. I’m a fair skinned 33 yr old. This year I’ve been outdoors a lot and my upper body, face and legs are very tanned naturally. But I was trying to tan the middle of my body with frustration.

My belly, chest, bum just wouldn’t tan past the lightest tan ever. So I gave up and started hunting for a sunless tanner I could use to even up my tan. I found this and loved that it was a spray and clear.

But I didn’t have high hopes. I’ve now used it for a week. I don’t have ANY splotches, it color MATCHES my real tan and it didn’t leave a single mark on my towels, house coat or bed. I did get a tanner brush form the dollarstore to make sure when I sprayed the tanner on it was rubbed in well with a brush.

I am now a tan line free even coloured goddess and it looks great. I’m a lifer now. Now for best results new tanners make sure you do the following- shower before use and exfoliate your entire body and moisturize after! This gives you a perfect canvas.

Spray this stuff and blend it in with a makeup brush or tanner brush. I just use a makeup brush. Let it soak up and don’t put anything tight or rubby on for a bit best if you wear something soft, lose and non abrasive over night.

Then boom! After that exfoliated your body every couple days to allow for an even fade and touch up as needed! This is a gradual tanner for it took 2/3 times to match my super tanned areas.

I was specifically looking for a self-tanner or bronzer for sensitive, acne, and oily-prone skin. This had great reviews, so I tried it. I quickly realized it was giving me small bumps all over my cheeks and forehead.

I would try it, break out within a day or two, stop using it, and the bumps would clear. If that didn’t happen, I would say it gives great, eventual colour.

So far I have used the body tanning lotion, face tanning lotion, tan extend lotion and hand mitt. I haven’t really needed the exfoliator, immediate tan lotion and brush. I have followed what some users have done putting on the lotions at night.

I shave my legs that morning and don’t put any lotions on during the day. I wash my face right before application. So far works great that way. I have used the tanning lotions on my face, chest, back, arms and legs.

The arms and legs last the longest. I wash my face twice a day so that fades more quickly. I have fair skin tone and the dark is a natural tan color for me. I just washed the mitt for the first time.

I used it for a few weeks without washing on both face and body. I didn’t wash my hands very well after using it the first time and it tinted under my fingernails even though I used the mitt. So make sure you wash your nails for sure after application.

I have shaved my legs in between applications and some color seems to stay despite shaving. The color fades naturally. I have noticed a little color transfer on pressure points of clothing such as elastic legs and on shoulders with bra straps.

This is the best sunless tanning product I have found. I like it.

I am in love with this body bronzer! Beautiful color that isn’t orange or shimmery at all. Gel formula is super easy and quick to apply and blend with an applicator mitt. No streaks or weird color build-up on ankles/feet that I’ve experienced with other brands.

I hate using DHA self-tanners, so I’ve been looking for the perfect wash-off bronzer and THIS IS IT. The price is affordable, the color is lovely and it applies evenly and doesn’t transfer. The only downside is that I don’t care for the fragrance, but at least it’s better than that unmistakable self-tanner smell.

I use this on my legs in the summer and I feel confident wearing shorts and skirts. My legs are super pale and white and this color is so nice and bronze without shimmer – just right without looking fake.

I’m so impressed with this product and so glad I found it online. I’ve tried a lot of other bronzers and this one is the best. FYI – shipping took almost two weeks so keep that in mind.

So far I love this self tanner! I have to admit I was a bit skeptical hearing this self tanner wouldn’t leave a smell as it processed but they’ve done a really great job at perfecting it! There is definitely a strong coconut smell but it’s so much better than the strong self tanner smell.

The color goes on great too, although I’d like to try the ultra dark on my skin. The dark goes on nice but would like to see a bit more color. I also love the feel of this lotion! It doesn’t feel sticky, doesn’t bother me throughout the day as I have it on.

There are many pros and cons to this self tanner. My skin is pasty white on the regular, but when I use this product I always get the colour Dark as I’m able to achieve the colour I want much faster.

When you are able the achieve your desired colour, following 24-48 hours of applying, realizing areas you missed, reapply, etc. the colour is very stunning, and it lasts for quite some time. I was worried about initially trying dark because my skin is very pale, but trust me its a very beautiful and realistic colour.

You can shower normally, and reapply in areas you think need reapplying. It does not, however, like to stay in areas where your body tends to sweat aka your underarms, underboob, etc. I find after you’ve sweat off those areas, if you try to reapply it without taking it all off first it just doesn’t work, however I’m a sweaty Betty all summer long so that may just be me.

Now, for when it’s time to take it off. You will be able to tell when its time as your skin starts to look very speckled, the tan will almost rub off your skin along with your dead skin cells. When this happens, it is physically impossible to try to fix it with more product, you just have to take it all off of you and start again.

This could mean a 1-2 day process. Even though there are times when it does somewhat rub off, I find this tanner to be incredibly difficult to remove. I would highly recommend the St. Tropez Tanner Eraser as well as their Tan Build Up Remover Mitt.

If you use these two products together to remove your self tanner, it is so much easier. Use the tanner eraser before you shower, in the shower, as well as the mitt. The mitt will work best after your skin has been in the water for a couple minutes, just be prepared to have a sore arm afterwards.

The mitt is also amazing for exfoliating your body, even without trying to scrub away self tanner.

Okay listen, if you’re new to self-tanning and afraid of streakiness/patchiness or looking orange like I was, this product will not fail you. BUT ONLY IF you use it properly! (keep in mind, I have light-medium brown skin, so if you have super fair skin or dark skin, I’m not sure how the Medium shade will show up on your skin).

But this gives me the perfect natural glow within 6 hours. I’ve used it 10+ times already and experienced ZERO streakiness or patchiness. But that is because I am very diligent and careful when applying.

Here are my tips: 1) WEAR GLOVES (vinyl/latex gloves to protect your hands). 2) MIX MIX MIX the drops in your moisturizer very well (i usually use 2-4 drops for my face). 3) RUB IT IN well. When you think you have rubbed it in completely, RUB IT IN MORE.

4) BLEND. If you are using it on your face, blend it down to your neck and/or chest, and consider using more moisturizer around where you stop application as a buffer to ensure there is a smooth transition.

If you do these steps, I don’t see how this product could not work well, unless you have specific skin issues preventing it from looking good on your skin. Also, be mindful that you could be experiencing patchiness or reactions because of the products you apply UNDER the drops.

I suggest using cleanser only before applying this, at least on the first use/application. Overall, I love these drops so far. MY ONLY, and I repeat, ONLY issue with it is that the tan doesn’t last very long.

It could be because of the other products & exfoliants in my skin care routine, but the tan & glow I get is pretty much gone within 1-2 days. However, I honestly don’t consider it a dealbreaker because a little goes a long way and there is actually a great amount of product in the bottle for my face.

Since I don’t use it that often, it will last me monthsss. I’m interested to see how the darker shade compares in terms of colour, so I’ll probably get that next!.

These drops work, but you have to be strategic when using them. I have fair to medium skin but I bought the dark because when I use a self tanner, I want to look noticeably tanner. My thought process was also that with darker drops I could use less product to see a difference.

I don’t think I would’ve seen any difference in my skin tone if I purchased the medium drops and I wouldn’t consider the light drops at all. I would say my skin looked tanner after 3 nights of using this product in a row.

After that, you should be careful to really blend out your moisturizer because I did see some patches around my wrists/hands and the drier skin on my elbows went dark orange. I like the idea of not having to use a mousse or more involved product but I did see a lot of reviews saying these drops are great because they don’t have the fake tanner smell.

That was not true at all for me. In the bottle, they have a light citrus plant-like scent. But once I mixed the drops into lotion and applied it on my skin it turned to that awful fake tanner smell. I can’t put my finger on it but to me it smells like burnt caramel mixed with cooked pasta before you add sauce (yes, I know that’s really weird).

I used many different scented and unscented lotions and the overpowering chemical smell was always there. I would only recommend using this at night when you are planning to rinse it off the next morning because the smell hangs all day and is very noticeable and unpleasant.

If you can deal with the smell and are looking for a quick and easy way to look a few shades darker, I would recommend these.

I mix a few drops of this self-tanner with Cerave body lotion and it does distribute well (I have not used on it’s own). There are a few spots the following day that are probably obvious self-tanning application mishaps, but likely that’s a “me” issue.

There is absolutely a smell, and to me (as a 31y/o millennial who has been enticed by self-tanners for many moons) it is directly associated to self-tanner. When I am using, I get a little self conscious of hugging my loved ones because I feel the smell is so obvious that they will know that my natural-looking tan is very unnatural (noting here that yes I think it looks quite natural!).

I hate painting my nails, and this absolutely stains my nails no matter how much a scrub my hands after application. Short nails or painted nails it is when this product is in rotation. Bonus: it has never rubbed off on clothes/sheets! Tl;dr: expect a self-tanner scent, use with a lotion such as Cerave, does not transfer to clothing, expect one shade darker and nothing dramatic (I’ve never had a friend say “omg you look so tan!” which to me is the ultimate test in the dead of winter in New England).

I loved the face version of this so decided to try the body. I love that I can mix it with my own body lotion and it dries a bit faster then foams but that’s where the pros end. I’ve tried it 3 times now, each time applied more thoroughly then the last but always turns out blotchy.

The tan colour itself is not natural looking, definitely has orange tones. This self tanner is not forgiving, you have be extremely careful and diligent and even then blotches are still a possibility.

The tan takes a few hours to develop too so you can’t see if you’ve missed any spots until it’s too late. It last’s 2 days for me, I make sure to prep my skin before hand with a good exfoliator and moisturize every day.

As for the smell, it has a nice scent going on but as it dries it smells like every single self tanner I’ve ever tried, there’s no escaping that lingering fake tan smell, it’s one of the ingredients.

All self tanners try to mask it with their own formulated scent but as it dries you will notice that classic fake tan smell. Would also like to note that I am very fair skinned and didn’t find the medium/dark tan too be too much.

I was a bit concerned it wouldn’t look right on me. I think I’ll be sticking to foam tans.

Ya’ll. This product and the THE BODY drops have made self-tanning such an easy addition into my routine. When I was using other self tanning products, I’d have to plan around my shower schedule so I could make sure I’d be able to shower the morning after applying products, and I was constantly going to bed sticky and praying I wouldn’t stain my comforter.

Now I add a couple tanning drops to my facial moisturizer or face sunscreen every few days, and I can maintain a natural glow for weeks without even really thinking about it. I love the light/medium for a natural looking tan that just makes it seem like my summer tan isn’t ever going to fade.

It is buildable, but if you want a deeper glow I would go for the darker shade. I’ve found it works best if you put your moisturizer/whatever you are adding it to in your palm, then add your drops and mix it in with your other pointer finger.

Then apply all over your face, making sure to rub it into your hairline and down your neck. I’ve never experienced any streaking. The DHA smell is mild, I don’t think there is any way to avoid it with self-tanning products, so I didn’t mind the smell.

I had my reservations about this product. Being a clear formula I couldn’t really fathom how it could be applied evenly but alas I was sucked in by demos that spoke highly of it’s fool proof application and it’s colour corrective features which really appealed to me as a person with fair complexion who is constantly in search of a flattering fake tan.

I did my usual prep, moisturised my skin for a week in the run up to application finishing with a good exfoliation, shave and moisturise 24 hours before application. When it came to applying straight off the bat I noticed the press function for the spray was tough and only got tougher as my hands became coated in product and slipped off the button, I also noticed that it was in fact difficult to identify areas of my body that already had tan applied contrary to the advice given by Isle Of Paradise’s creater Jules Von Hep who suggested that there would be an obvious sheen to the areas that had already been exposed to the product, I found this not to be the case so I continued on with the application until I felt satisfied.

I also struggled to maintain a safe distance between my body and the spray, some applications were closer to my body than I’d have liked, I feel the cause of this was the tough spray function and the strain of having to press harder which affected my stability.

By the time I was satisfied with the coverage I was saturated so it took absolutely ages to dry, it was at this point I realised I had applied too much but I had a four day festival to attend the following day and wanted a tan so I decided to wait it out and see the results.

Throughout development I felt clammy and the smell of the tan was quite strong, I was overwhelmed with a sense of just wanting to get this stuff off my skin! When I woke up the following morning I was in complete despair over what to do, it was my birthday, I was due at the beach with family and friends then off to a 20,000 person festival with orange skin, my finger nails glowed a stark white against the orange of my hands, my teeth were mega white which at any other time would have been fantastic.

In a last ditch attempt to tone down the colour I quickly applied some of a well known tanning brand’s tan remover and it did nothing to tone down the colour but it did start to break the tan apart so I went the full week looking scaley/like tiger bread.

On top of that I then had to try and rework and mix loads of my foundations to make a foundation shade to go with the orange shade and then had to lug all those products to a festival and mix them each morning in order to recreate it.

As soon as the tan showed signs of fading I spent a good amount of time getting as much off as I could but it’s a stubborn tan and it didn’t come off easily which is a plus if this tan works for you.

In conclusion this product isn’t very user friendly and I would consider myself a fairly experienced tanner. I picked the Medium shade because being a fair skinned individual I wanted a medium shade of tan not a light kiss of colour plus the medium formula is green to represent that it corrects redness which is a problem area for me however upon some thorough research in the wake of my faux pas the shades actually represent your natural skin complexion so if you are fair you need to be using the tan in Light and if you are a medium complexion then the Medium shade is the one for you and so on.

I don’t think this is made very clear for people when it needs to be I also think the one size fits all approach on colour correction is silly, fair skins typically need red colour correcting as do other natural complexions.

Maybe I had a dud bottle but the spray functions need to be quality controlled better. Whilst I’m not open to using any more or any other clear formulas from Isle Of Paradise I’m certainly open to checking out other products in the range that offer guide colours or are lotions as I typically get on better with those sorts of products.

This is a great product! I got the exact tan I wanted, and it was simple enough to add to my lotion after my shower. It does have that typical fake-tanner smell, which I don’t mind. It’s not overwhelming, and it fades in a couple hours.

Don’t be convinced by the people who say this product streaks; that’s just user error, and they don’t know how to apply it properly. After showering and exfoliating my body, I used rubber gloves to apply it so my hands didn’t stain.

I squirt some lotion onto my finger, put about 5 drops (per area on my body) into my palm, then took my free hand to mix them together, and finally applied to each area just like I’m putting lotion on.

No streaks, no patches, just a flawless, beautiful golden tan. This product does everything it claims, when used properly. BACKGROUND: Having said all that, I am not a fake-tanner. I don’t have a lot of experience with it, I’ve never even been to a tanning salon (I’m 30).

The most experience I have with fake tanning is a bottle of Jergen’s natural glow I used at least ten years ago. I prefer the natural tan I get from being outdoors. However, I haven’t had time to get outside as much as I’d like lately, and I’ve been craving that beautiful sun-kissed look.

(Although, self tanner is just as harmful to your body as a sun tan due to the DHA or erythrulose in it, if not worse since you’re not getting any vitamin D, in fact, it’s depleting your body of the vital nutrient.

I believe using it in moderation is ok, just as time in the sun in moderation is ok. ) Now, I have a jump start on my summer bod! :).

Let me start out by stating that my skin is beyond pasty, it is the lightest of porcelain and actually kind of see through in areas. My skin is also super dry. In the past I’ve had to tan (in a bed) daily for two weeks (the 1st week is burning) to achieve a tan.

I started using B. Tan by first moisturizing (I showered, shaved, and exfoliated the night before) and adding extra moisturizer to my hands, feet, knees, elbows, and face. I was surprised how soft the mitt was, the thumb area is a nice addition that helped me be more precise in my application.

I started on my legs with one pump per area, smearing it around in circular motions watching to ensure there were no streaks in the guide color. I was impressed with the lack of smell from the product, it was not bothersome at all.

I used a wide foundation brush to apply to my face, neck, and ears. Being so pale I left it on about 1hr 35mins then rinsed it off in the shower with slightly warm water, then patted dry with a towel.

I am not super tan, but I’m no longer see through, paper white. I would say I’m a good 3-4 shades darker. Which is impressive in such a short amount of time. It doesn’t look streaky, or splotchy around my elbows, ankles, or knees.

Also no orange color at all, which is usually a concern with fake tan. I also moisturized again after rinsing. I think in order for someone as pale as me to achieve a deep, dark tan, I would need to apply twice all over, then leave on for several more hours.

My lower arms were a little pigmented before use, and they darkened up more than the rest of my body, so I think if you already have a little pigment to your skin, you will definitely tan faster, and darker with this product.

Over all I am very happy with b. Tan mousse and I will continue to use it. I think slowly adjusting the amount, and times is a good way for my to sort of gradually build up my tan instead of being super pale one day, then walk into work super tan the next day.

I’m very interested in buying more of their products.

I went into the store and bought this. I would recommend always getting your tanners from the store because shipping can suck. I absolutely love this tanner I just got it yesterday, I’ve always used coco and Eve, and loving tan.

This is very comparable I woke up looking dark and Natural. Truth of the matter is you want to sleep in it and then shower it off the next morning DO NOT USE SOAP. This is with any tanner. always put lotion on morning and night and it will fade beautifully.

The product can’t do everything for you, you have to maintain it and take care of your skin by exfoliating before you tan. Please please scrub your skin before reapplying for best results. BUT FOR REAL I’m in college and I love this, it apples so easily and smooth.

This is my first Summer experimenting with self tanning. Started out trying tanologist products with nothing good to say about those results, then I found this stuff after reading many reviews for b.

tan products. With the first application I was amazed! It actually worked and the color looks great very sun kissed bronze! No orange nightmares or overbearing stinky smells! Unlike the other stuff I tried this also is very light and did not seem to clog my pours! Bonus I wasn’t dried out the next day! Definitely recommend this for anyone who is very pale skinned! Leave on minimum 2hrs or more for the darkest shade.

Pro tip: before you apply I highly suggest that you rub a little bit of coconut body oil on ur dry areas instead of lotion, then rinse and pat dry before you go with the self tanner! Use their brand mitt as it’s the best one I’ve used and it’s not cheaply made.

Lasts for a week if you regularly moisturize!! You can add their brand tan drops to darken or prolong your results, I use 5drops in 3 pumps of lotion per body part to prolong. When tan fades out it gets splotchy and I recommend using blue dawn dish soap to help with removing or use a good tan eraser moose like St tropez!.

Love love love this product. So much so that I bought another set and my little sister bought one too after trying the face mask. I have Scandinavian skin and so tanning doesn’t come easily for me, even with lots of effort.

So sunless tanners are always something that I like to use every year in the spring to take away my natural white glow so as not to blind everyone. I have struggled to find a “clean” product that actually works and that doesn’t smell HORRIBLE! Now, this does have that distinct “pretzel like” smell to it BUT it is VERY VERY light compared to pretty much every other sunless tanning product I’ve ever used.

Believe me, I can’t handle the smell usually so I always put mine I’m at night then shower in the am to wash the stank off. This one, I didn’t feel like I HAVE to do that. The face mask is amazing! I’ve started using it regularly and now I don’t even use any foundation.

Now, I will say the color fades pretty quickly. But, it fades evenly so tbh I don’t care. I’ve used other products that fade in patches and they always make me feel blotchy even if at first they weren’t.

This one is not blotchy after putting it on or after it fading. This is my new go to and I’ve told lots of friends about it who have started cleaning up their skincare routine too!.

I followed the directions on the bottle exactly, between using the right hand motions to spread out the product, how to prepare skin beforehand and how long to leave it on. 1. while putting it on, it was impossible to tell where I had already applied the product (like, if I had any missing spots) because it goes on clear.

2. I used the same level of darkness I always use in the foam version. This product turned me carrot orange, and literally is impossible to scrub off my skin. I’ve been using self-tan remover every single day for a week, and its still super patchy, ugly and not budging.

I work in a hospital, so I’m constantly washing my hands and using heavy-duty sanitizer. I have a nickel-sized spot of tanner that somehow ended up on my palm. I have no idea how its still there. 3. it said to wait until the product was touch-dry before putting on any clothes.

It took me 45 minutes to an hour, standing in a well-ventilated room, in front of a box fan, before I was able to dress. The bottle said 15 minutes. I swear I didn’t over apply any product, I have no idea why it took so long! Very disappointed in this product.

I always loved all of their other ones, but this stuff is useless and a waste of money. For the love of God, please, please, do not buy this.

I have tried almost every lotion out there over the years thinking that someone will eventually get it all right in ONE bottle. To say I was crazy happy is a understatement! The first thing I noticed when I opened the tube was the smell, it took me back to sandy beaches and tropical drinks.

Smells like coconuts and sugar! I love that the lotion itself isn’t colored, as I applied it felt like silk and was a smooth application. I do like to use my finger to apply, no mitt, ( I use a nail brush to scrub my hands after applying) and the reason is that it gives me a sense of the real quality and texture, as well as the smell that usually makes me toss it quickly.

With this lotion, you will have no worries. It also didn’t stain my clothing, sheets, etc. NO orange glow with this, no one would never guess it was a sunless tanner. What I’ve noticed since using this everyday, and yes it sounds crazy, but it also has softened the wrinkling we all get on our neck.

I’m in my 40’s and don’t have a huge amount of wrinkles, but I hate the few I have on my neck, but this is a miracle in a bottle, so to speak. I will always leave a honest review , doesn’t matter if it is good OR bad.

As for myself I love everything about this🌴.

These drops do the job – not necessarily the same job every time, but the job nonetheless. I’ve used this product as an introduction to tan drops about 7-8 times and I do really like it, but I’ve had issues with consistency.

I use it the same each time, but every resulting tan turns out slightly different from the last – sometimes my hands are extremely orange and splotchy even after washing several times during and post application, sometimes my face is unevenly tan, and sometimes there are random splotches on my legs and/or arms.

This could most definitely be user error, but I’ve consistently used the same method each time and feel like the result is always a surprise. Perhaps if I used less drops for a more subtle tan, the results would be perfect.

I first had difficulty with the tan taking on my legs as much as my upper body, but now I just do my legs twice and it works well. PROS: Easy and quick application with little to no residual smell. Love that you can mix it with whatever lotion you like.

No post-application stickiness and dries very quickly. Way less streaky than mousse tans I’ve tried. You can easily control the level of tan you prefer – you can use it for a dark all-over tan or use it to touch up a slightly faded tan in one area.

I usually do my entire body and then do my face/chest again with less drops on day 3 or 4. Lasts a surprising amount of time (usually about 7+ days for me with proper moisturizing and exfoliation). CONS: Difficult to see where you’ve previously applied product which can result in random splotches.

Relatively inconsistent. Bottle doesn’t last as long as you’d hope. Can turn hands orange even after several washes – I definitely recommend latex gloves for body and using a brush for hand application.

I’m almost through my 3rd bottle of these. Ive used two medium and one dark. Medium is my preferred color, it looks very natural with my light neutral-warm skin tone. The only drawback I find with this product is a common complaint – if I use it too many days in a row on my face, my chin and cheeks will have breakouts.

I take extra steps to combat this as well so it doesn’t happen as often. I put on my moisturizer and then apply about 3 drops to my face and rub it in well, and then a couple for my neck so it matches my face.

I’ll mix with my Sol Body Gradual Tanning lotion for my arms and hands (these areas obviously hold color better than my face that I wash and exfoliate frequently. ) I have never been splotchy, streaky, or orange with this.

And if I was, it was my sloppy application. I truly love this product. I don’t think I’ll ever use another tanning product again. Within 4-6 hours I can look in the mirror and see the difference. It’s so satisfying to put this on in the morning, and then take your make up off at night and have your skin be darker than your foundation, haha!.

I saw the tiktok video about using tanning drops as a highlighter and decided to give this trend a try. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of tanning drops before. I chose this brand first over the more expensive brands because of the decent reviews and affordable price.

Well. It works! I’ve been using the medium drops on my face 2x/ week for two weeks now. I mix four drops with my collagen cream and apply to my face at night. On one of those nights I make sure to exfoliate first.

My natural skin tone is very pale with red and pink undertones and prone to freckles and I burn instead of tanning (think Irish red head). After one use of these drops I have a nice natural glow. After two uses I look like a have a fresh tan.

Once I was happy with the results on my face I decided to use them on my whole body next. First application I was very conservative and used maybe 5 drops mixed in with my CeraVe lotion. I didn’t notice much of a difference.

But when I reapplied two days later the color development was much more noticeable. So much so my knees looked a little silly. I guess I overdid it on that spot. Be aware the drops are clear so its hard to tell if you missed a spot.

Do wear gloves or be prepared to wash your hands with soap right after applying. The one area I got a bit of orange stain was my nails.

I really love these tanning drops. I’ve tried tons of self tanning products and these are my favorite for my face. To apply, I cleanse my face, and use circular motions to blend it into my skin with my fingertips.

I apply it to my face AND blend it down my neck so there isn’t a harsh line. If you have a very light skin tone naturally, that step is super important. I leave it on overnight and then cleanse like usual in the morning when I wake up.

I know it says you can mix the drops with a moisturizer but I just use it by itself, because I’ve noticed it gives me better results when applied that way. If I use these tanning drops twice a week it keeps a nice color on my face.

I like that it’s more of a brown based “tan” and not orange. There isn’t a strong scent like there is with some fake tanning products. It doesn’t make my face feel greasy at all, and actually gives it a nice moisturized feel.

Some facial tanning products have dried my face out in the past so I was happy to see that isn’t the case with this product. In my opinion, the price point is perfect because these work really well and last for a LONG time.

I only use maybe 6-7 drops to do my entire face and neck. I highly recommend these if you’re wanting to add some natural looking color to your face!.

okay so first off – I’m not gonna lie, I was so not expecting to like this at all. like AT ALL. Nothing against this brand but I’ve NEVER had good luck/outcomes with any kind of tanning drops 🤔. I don’t know couldn’t tell ya why lol but it is what it is.

Alright so I got into this bad boy the directions say it MUST** be mixed with moisturizer explains how many drops to get the level result you desire. I personally did 5 drops each day, smooshed it all up then covered my face neck in it (um.

I was terrified of being orange but also. not anywhere else 😂) and from the first application, I was actually impressed with the quality feel. It didn’t make me super slick, tacky, just filmy feelin, nothin.

but it did make me feel pretty darn smooth like WHOA. it’s got hyaluronic acid in it I’ve tried many products that are chocked full of this but this was like really crazy surprise good feeling my skin, I almost dare say – loves this.

BUT – okay, I’m gonna tell you the con now, BUT please remember; this means NOTHING for you as everybody’s skin is different thus different results 😀. Okay so day 3, I felt like maybe there was a little color but now.

I’m fairly certain that I am gradually shifting a bit more warm looking than straight pale – is it crazy? no, not only using 5-6drops; it’s gradual, AS it SAYS it is woman 😂😂 but also, it almost feels so gradual/slow building that I was kind of questioning what’s what here.

until I added more drops (8-10 as it suggests lol) that 7+ drops really was quite noticed as I started to look pretty evenly bronzed over wowing. I added this part in because I don’t want you to give up too quick on the tan aspect of it also don’t want you to jump way too fast come at me like 😅 Regardless of how(if) you wanna build a tan – you want this product.

It will help you come summer when you’re ready to look AMAZINGLY sun-kissed but MORE SO – it’s gonna keep your beautiful face hydrated/regaining hydration that is the ultimate way to good, happy skin – this product actually freakin shocked me I’m wickedly glad I got to try it cause I probably wouldn’t have known my own.

So my ultimate recommendation: Definitely add this to your “Buy/Try/Wish List” because it’s gonna be a super affordable price point it’s gonna be like a steal deal with how it makes you feel. get it, get it🎶.

I’ve tried out quite a few L’Oréal products in the past. I’ve also tried a lot of self-tanning products. I’m very surprised at how well this applies with my regular moisturizer. It’s hydrating, and very smooth.

The nice thing about applying this product with your moisturizer is that you don’t have to really worry about streaks in the color, or obvious spots where you started/stopped your self tanner. The bottle recommended using 5-10 drops, depending on how much payoff you want.

I started with 7 drops the first couple of uses, and ended up doing the full 10 drops once I got comfortable with the results. I have a light-medium skin tone, and I can pretty easily in the sun. I was just recently in Florida, and I made sure to wear plenty of sunscreen.

I wear sunscreen and sunglasses to help shield my face from sun damage, and this product was perfect to bring with for my vacation. My face was definitely much paler than the rest of my body, and I had no problem achieving a sun-kissed and believable glow while still being safe in the sun.

It didn’t break me out, my skin felt nice and plump and moisturized the mornings after use, and, besides the self tanner smell that develops after some time, it it was very comfortable to wear and mix with my current skincare routine.

I felt like it blended in very nicely, but definitely try to make sure your skin is exfoliated and clean prior to using this. I saw a little color come off on my face cleansing pad once I wiped my face after the product had time to develop.

I think it’s normal to see a little come off after cleansing, and you still have a really nice glow afterwards. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation around my chin, and at first it looks like it emphasized them after the product was done developing, but I gently exfoliate my skin one more time after that, and I still maintain a good amount of color.

I would reapply every other day or every two days to maintain the color you want. Just mess around with the amount of drops for your skin tone.

I am so disappointed I did not read the reviews. I LOVE the Ulta brand Body foam tanner and was excited to have an even tanned face but on first use – was repulsed by the smell, it was so oily, then after using for a couple days my face started to burn.

For the last week I’ve bad blotchy red bumps, scaly and burning skin. I usually have pretty great skin and now I look HORRIBLE. I went through every product I use that’s been different lately to rule out what caused it and this is the only real change – and now I see others have had similar reactions and their photos resemble mine.

Now as a result of trying this so i could wear LESS makeup, now i have to put on way more and it looks horrible because of the bumps and scaly/oily patches. My face still is burning and painful. I hope I can return this for a better product.

So, I went to prom using this product, and it turned out great. My face, hands, and wrist matched my other tanner perfectly for a nice healthy glow. BUT, I was misled by a Ulta worker that you can use this product with out moisturizer.

Keep that in mind. So, now I’m at graduation and I’m applying my tan again so that I don’t look pale with my white dress underneath. I didn’t use moisturizer this time because I thought the tan was light last time and I wanted to go darker.

So, I applied it and washed my hands then, went to bed. I woke up with a beautiful face and neck but, the palms of my hands were dark brown. I spent all day trying to get it off and now it’s a orange shade.

Not as noticeable as this morning but, it’s still there. I’m not too upset with this product though, since it was a misdirect by a employee at my local Ulta (which I don’t entirely blame her either since she probably was just going off of what other customers have said to her) Overall, it’s a great product, just seriously DONT SKIP THE MOISTURIZER!.

This is the first time I’ve used these drops or any drops for that matter. I like the Ulta brand so I figured why not. They are easy to use and the dropper does a nice job giving you the right amount of product.

It definitely is a super gradual tan. You need to use them constantly every night to maintain any sort of tan. I’m wasn’t looking for anything drastic just a sun kissed look when not wearing makeup and they definitely do that.

But again to maintain that look you need to use them daily. Overall I’d say they are worth the price you pay and I would buy them again.

I was diagnosed with skin cancer some years back (around 10 years ago) due to tanning beds. I have no choice but to use self-tanner, and I have tried a lot of self-tanners, everything ranging from $10 to $60, to even ordering a $100 kit.

However, nothing works as great as Nu Skin. It does NOT streak. It does not get on your clothes or bedsheets. It does not turn your skin orange or have an overwhelming smell. It does not run or come off in the rain or while swimming.

It does not leave those nasty orange stains on the palms of your hands or around your fingernails. As a matter of fact, Nu Skin is the only self-tanner I can use without a glove. It is, without a doubt, the best self-tanner I have ever used.

My second favorite is (was) Fake Bake from Ulta, but for some reason, the back of my legs started rejecting this product just a few months into using it. I’m two years into using Nu Skin, and I haven’t experienced one problem with this product.

It gives perfect coverage, and my tan looks real. So real, people often ask me where I tan at.

This is my FAVORITE self-tanner. The price sits about in the middle. I’ve tried more expensive brands (Tanologist) and wasn’t as impressed. I can use my hands to apply this and it doesn’t leave my hands orange.

It’s not a permanent color- it washes off in the shower; but that’s what I want. It doesn’t streak my clothes. The smell kind of reminds me of Jergens self-tanner, but not as strong. It doesn’t leave me feeling sticky or oily.

The color is very buildable so I like that I can keep applying to be as dark and I want. I have SUPER sensitive skin and psoriasis patches and this product doesn’t irritate my patchy areas.

I give this product 10/10!! You can put on as much or as little as you want and you’ll see results instantly and it only gets better. It leaves my skin feeling normal and clean. There is that typical self tanner smell but to me it isn’t bad, and its just normal.

If you don’t want a smell. don’t use a self tanner, period. Highly recommend this product though!!! It’s quick to apply, dries in a couple minutes. Easy peasy. Buy here, or directly from Nuskin. ( Cheaper here on though!).

It’s a lovely hydrating gel, but even on my very pale skin the color was hardly noticeable. I wouldn’t buy it again. I thought I will give it a try as I really love Sensai’s sun protection and after sun cream.

But there are better products if more deeper tan is what someone’s looking for.

Ive been looking for something since Lancme discontinued the flash bronzer. Based on the reviews and the price I was expecting great things. This hardly does anything and I cant see much difference from the cheap gradual tanners on the market.

Im quite pale with freckles so I dont need a lot to have a glow. I wasted my money on this purchase.

I absolutely love this product, I’m very hard to tan( very fair skin which I hate) so I have tried just about every single regardless of the price self tanning products on the market at this time. This one doesn’t give you an orange or brassy color.

I love the golden natural tan this product gives my skin. No harsh smells or chemicals you will be worrying about with this either. I don’t have time to even try to get a tan if I was able to tan so me being a fair skin strawberry blonde this product has become a best friend to me and time and money saver.

If you have not tried this product and you are looking for one , you can find the color that you desire with this product name. I highly recommend you at least give it a try by a sample if you are hesitant about buying it first and see for yourself.

I loved the first Sun Labs self-tanner I bought so much, that I had to get another one! This time I went for a little darker shade. I got the Ultra Dark tint. At first I was worried that it would be too dark, but it actually turned out well.

It goes on very dark but then as it dries and time goes by, it actually lightened up a little for me. It still gave me a nice, rich all-over color though. One of my favorite parts about this product is how natural it looks.

I’ve used other things in the past and this by far gives off the most natural, sun kissed vibe. I’ve had many compliments about my new glow and I always tell folks about this product. It also feels great going on.

It actually helps moisturize your skin when you use it, which makes the glow even brighter. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase. I will definitely be a long-term fan and user of Sun Labs and their self-tanners.

I may even try another shade next time just to see what they are all like. I do really like this ultra dark color the best though. It makes me very happy that there are products out there like this, that can give you a natural looking tan without the harmful sun exposure.

I again highly recommend this product to anyone looking for self-tanner that looks real, doesn’t streak, and lasts a good amount of time!.

Love this stuff! I mix with lotion to avoid streaks and I don’t use the mit that comes with it as it wastes product. I exfoliate my palms with apricot scrub immediately after application and I’ve never had stained hands.

Color looks natural. I’m medium dark and I use dark without the need to work my way up to dark.

I already wrote a review about this that for some reason wasn’t posted. I received a bottle of these drops after using SkinnyTan body tanner for a couple years now. When it arrived, it had some sort of chunks floating in it, and what looked like mold forming on the inside of the top part of the bottle above where the liquid sits.

Customer service was extremely prompt and helpful, which is why I gave 2 stars. They had me send a photo of the batch number, and then sent me a replacement product. That second bottle arrived today, and had the SAME thing, but worse! One of the floating pieces looks like it could be a grub of some kind.

I am so grossed out, especially because if this product was in an opaque bottle like the rest are, I would have put this on my face. I’m now wondering if this is a common occurrence with their products and that I can just see it because of the clear bottle.

I am so bummed, this is my favorite self tanner and I absolutely love the tanning and toning liquid, but I’m now so sketched out because I can’t see inside the bottle. I’m not sure if I just have terrible luck and received the only instances of this.

These are great. I’ve always had a problem tanning my face as I’ll never expose it to the sun and could never quite get my face colour to match my chest colour, even using my regular skinny tan products.

I simply add about 10 drops to my moisturiser every night and they do their thing. If it looks like it’s getting too dark by the end of the week I miss a night. A lot of face tanning products actually dry your face but these don’t.

Never ever used a tanning solution on my face before as I usually have acne prone skin but thought I’d be brave and give this a try. You only need a drop or two as it can be very dark the more drops you use.

I use this once a week or so or whenever I need some glow, mix it with your finger with a blob of your moisturiser and massage into your face in an upwards motion. I do this on an evening and by the morning my skin is looking so glowy! It doesn’t cause me any spots or blemishes and has a lovely faint scent, nothing horrible or over powering.

I would definitely recommend!.

There are so many great things about this tan, I love it so much! I’ve been self tanning for years and years and I can’t believe I didn’t try it sooner. I doubted a cosmetics company’s ability to deliver a good self tan and assumed it was just a cash grab from the brand (sorry, Tarte).

But I needn’t worry because this stuff is amazing and exactly the kind of tan I love so much these days. The pros (and there are many) 1. Lotion – like consistency makes it easy to spread evenly. I use my bare hands and wash between sections to avoid tanned palms and this works out great.

Also allows me to use less product by skipping using a mitt that absorbs. 2. The color! Perfect neutral tone for my light-medium, very olive skin. It has a purple-brown base and does not look orange on me whatsoever, even after it develops.

This is the best color for my olive skin I think I’ve found in a tanner (green based tans accentuates too much of the green in my skin and make me look somewhat sickly. Red bases can work but they alter my natural undertone too much and often end up making me look like I’m covered in body foundation.

Orange is never good for obvious reasons). 3. The depth. Also perfect for my complexion. I used to want the darkest tan I could possibly find, but after looking back on pictures I realize how unnatural those tans looked on me (Sosu Dripping Gold, Loving Tan Ultra Dark, Tanceuticals Ultra Dark).

With one coat this legit makes me look like I’ve been out in the sun working on my tan. It is a perfect medium tan, which is what I want being of medium complexion (light – medium in winter). 4. The fade.

It slowly leaves my skin over the course of the week, never ever leaving behind dry, crusty looking patches. I think this is thanks to the moisturizing formula. 5. Doesn’t clog pores so I can use it on my face and don’t need a seperate face tanner.

6. Very little to no DHA smell after showering. 7. Hands and feet take the tan very nicely. No patchiness or unevenness or crazy looking knuckles. 8. I’ve used it twice now over my whole body (One coat each time) and the bottle still feels very much full.

A little goes a long way esp. when skipping the mit and just using bare hands to rub it in Cons: So far I haven’t found one which is crazy because I am so picky about self tanners and have never found a truly perfect one.

I could be nit picky and wish the depth of color lasted a little longer, but there are trade offs and I feel like I’d lose some of its other qualities if that were the case.

I love this tanner for the immediate color and glow I get upon application. It is sticky and thick. I prefer to apply it with a mitt to ensure even application. The color guide allows you to see where you apply but can wear off on clothes.

The bronzing agent does sweat off easily as well and streaks if you accidentally get dropped with water. The color guide can be rinsed off after a couple of hours and initially leaves a nice tan color.

However, this tanning product does not give as intense or long lasting color as you would expect based on the depth of the color guide. There is an unpleasant “tanner” smell even after rinsing the bronzing color guide.

The retail price for this product is more expensive than others on the market that provide better color payoff and a longer lasting results. I will not purchase this product again and cannot recommend it.

This smells better than most self tanners but it does still have the self tanner smell after a while. It smells like cinnamon or nutmeg or something at first and when applying. It is a lotion with bronzer and develops to tan over a few hours (8 per the bottle).

You can also use on your face which is a plus. It definitely seems more gradual than some “express” self tanners but I do have some color after only 1 use. If you dont have a mitt, Try using disposable gloves or be prepared to immediately wash your hands 15 times after.

I used my bare hands once and immediately washed with my bath and body works foaming hand soap. Nothing. Hands still brown. I tried face scrub. Much better but still tinted. So then I washed my hands twice with orange dial liquid hand soap and that did the trick!.

I’ve tried many different fake tan products over the years and this is the best I’ve found! Most fake tans claim to fade naturally but I’ve personally never experienced this, on my fair skin (fitz 2) I’ve only ever gone patchy once the tan wears off.

But this tan faded so naturally and evenly I didn’t feel like I desperately need to scrub it off. The colour is beautiful and natural! There isn’t a colour guard so your clothes and sheets don’t get stained! The downside to this is that you can’t see where you’ve applied, but once the colour develops its very natural and forgiving so I imagine it would be hard to mess up.

You can also apply a second coat I believe an hour after the first so you have control over how dark you’d like it to go. Really happy with this tan, and will absolutely keep using it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new tan!.

This is the first time I’ve ever used fake tan and I love it! I’m naturally tanned but am paler than usual thanks to lockdowns and a rainy Sydney summer. This was really easy to apply with the mit. I did a second coat 30mins in, and left it all on for about 6hours before rinsing off.

It’s given me a really natural sun-kissed looking tan; smooth, even and no streak lines. I was also surprised by how good it smells! Zero transfer onto clothes or furniture. Never thought I’d use fake tan, but I love how natural this is and will definitely be using it more often to get that all year tan glow! Highly recommend!.

Wife loves it. Great color, stays on and no transfer to clothes. She only applies one coat and it seems to do the trick. Several people have asked her what product she was using. Definitely will be ordering again.

She had a lot of problems in the past with self tanners coming off onto clothing, especially gym clothes and this tanner has gave her no problems.

7 months ago I had laser pigmentation removal which destroyed my skin barrier and now I have super sensitive skin and struggle with dermatitis. I can’t wear most of the old makeup and tan I use to wear without causing a flare up so I thought I’d give eco tan a go.

To my surprise it didn’t cause any irritation to my skin. The skin care products I use day and night are derived from essential oils and I’ve found if I mix them with tanning water the result isn’t as nice and sometimes comes out patchy.

I saw adds suggesting to use the face tan water as well as the super fruit hydrator and one drop of glory oil so I thought I’d give that a go as I felt my skin need that bit of extra hydration whilst tanning (my skin is super dehydrated since having the laser and my skin feels horrible if I miss a night of my skin care routine) and it left my face evenly tanned and feeling hydrated.

Super happy with all of the products that I even got the exfoliating scrub which I also love. I love the face tanning water but I do wish it came in a darker shade as I find I’m putting on 5x the recommended amount and I have to do this two nights in a row to achieve the colour I’m looking for.

So I saw this product on an instagram post and was sceptical that it actually worked. I had a major car accident and just couldn’t be bothered wearing make up (I never used to leave the house without it) and then I took a chance and purchased the face tan water.

I actually couldn’t live without this product now. I don’t wear make up anymore (except special occasions) and only use the face tan water. Safe to say I am so confident to leave the house wearing only this product.

I have a birth mark on my forehead, hence why I would always wear make up. Eco tan face tan water is an absolute blessing and makes my skin look amazing. I’m always getting comments about how natural it looks.

I have now ventured out and purchased a couple of more products from eco tan and will work up to getting the whole range. Sonya you have created the best product and should be so proud of yourself! Only down fall is they need a bigger bottle of the face tan water haha.

Hi guys, I just wanted to say that I received a really nice heart felt comment from someone about my skin. Ive had cystic acne when I was in high school and have always suffered from scarring to boil and painful acne on my face.

Ive been on very strong harsh medication to seeing a naturopath to try and clear it up. This is my first foray into self-tanner, and I think it’s working well. There’s the usual pitfalls — I end up with brown palms, it’s hard to know how much to use, I’m always afraid I’m going to look like a Cheeto.

But I’ve been using this every other day for two weeks, and I’ve got a subtle warmth that’s deepening slowly but surely. It’s just warmth, no orange to speak of, and it’s playing nicely with the yellow-olive undertones in my skin.

I don’t look like I haven’t seen the sun in 87 years, even though I’m a mostly nocturnal grad student. It really gives a subtle, healthy warmth. And despite having sensitive, acne-prone skin, this is gentle on my skin and hasn’t caused any breakouts.

I’m going to use a proper self-tanner this weekend, and I’m hoping these drops will extend the life of the tanner on my face and keep that glow happening.

I picked this product up on a whim while at Target. I have been pleasantly surprised and very happy with this self tanner! First and most importantly, it does NOT have a funky smell like all self tanners.

I literally do not smell this at ALL – it doesn’t even smell coming out of the bottle. Secondly, it does not break me out. I have not seen any issues with my skin since using it. Third, it works! I have seen a gradual and NATURAL tan building and I love it! No streaks, no weird patches, and blending very nicely.

Super happy and impressed with this so far. I will definitely continue to use it to keep my face tan since I keep my face out of the sun as much as possible!.

I love sublime bronze. I have been using these self tanning drops for the entire summer. My face was very dull and pale for my liking. Within three days of using this product, i was pleased with the bright results.

It doesn’t act like a typical “self tanning” cream. Rather, it brightens up the skin bringing out a natural glow. It lives up a dull face for sure. ***My only advice:: if you have areas on your face that tend to get darker than the rest, avoid using the serum on that area.

It will only get darker. At one point i looked like I had a five o’clock shadow, lol. I stopped using the product in that area and within a few days i was back to normal. ***.
