I have to be careful with suppleme ts due to being gluten I tolerant and some supplements will state they are gluten free but don’t always list the full ingredients to the capsules themselves. Out if the 3 different orders I’ve had no issues or GI upset that I usually get with gluten.

I have Hashimoto’s and purchased a bottle of these supplements because as many others know, this is a hard condition to manage. I read all the directions and followed them. After I’d taken thyroconvert for a week or so, I started to notice a difference.

After a few weeks, my nails looked healthy, I had more energy, and I’d lost a few pounds. I was pleased with this supplement. I was so pleased, I ordered another bottle to make sure I didn’t run out.

After almost 6 weeks on it, I suddenly got very sick. I thought I’d developed a bad case of reflux out of the blue because I was throwing up and felt like food was getting stuck in my throat as well as having a difficult time swallowing.

I have taken Selenium for years as selenium is most helpful in the production of thyroid hormones and converting T4 to the active T3 which always helps when my thyroid slows. Research also shows that it alleviates the toxic effects of excessive iodine on thyroid which is more common then people realize due to the addiition of it to table salt, increasing urinary iodine excretion.

I’ve been taking another brand but they changed their binder formulation and the pills were harder and would not resolve very well. I like this product because the pills resolve very easily and the taste is very good as well.

I just got my blood work done (first time in 12yrs) and it was perfect. I give my Vitacost products the credit. I am a 62yo woman and not on any prescriptions.

This is the first time I have written a review without a prompt. I can’t believe I just bought all these Vitacost supplements and they ALL have rice flour in them. Who puts rice flour in Chromium. it makes no sence at all.

Vitacost brand is OFF the list. at my expense. I’m trying to get better, not make myself worse off. In the dumpster they go.

I purchased Selenium by Pure Encapsulations. I am Hypo-Thyroid with fluctuating Hyper. and I am on daily medication for this. I was having a slight issue with the med as it was tiring me with lethargy behind my eyes in the Pituitary area.

I remembered that I had the Selenium which is good for Thyroid. After taking Selenium, within 20 minutes I felt great! I had energy and had a good day. I decided to try it again a couple of more times.
