Best Seeds For Minecraft Switch (2024 Updated)

This game is a win on so many levels for young kids and families! It fosters creativity, problem solving, spatial orientation, planning and preparation and even simple math and reading. We have 4 sons ages 2-13.

The toddler isn’t quite old enough yet but still likes to see what his big brothers build. The older ones play in creative mode to experiment with various builds, as well as survival mode which challenges them to use resources to overcome obstacles.

Mom and Dad even get in on the action as the screen can be split with multiple players, and Dad at our house is an IT professional who set up a private server that allows us to play across platforms via emulators.

We use Minecraft as a reward for chores and good behavior and do a lot of family “missions” and crafting time after dinner. Of course, kids are going to love the March that comes with the fandom (t-shirts, toys, Lego sets) but it’s a unique and creative fandom, so we grownups don’t mind.

The updates released periodically always have something new to look forward to. I could take off half a star maybe for the periodic glitches associated with them, but these issues are relatively minor and to be expected with any similar product.

This game is totally worth the investment if you’re looking for family-friendly fun, or a digital creative outlet full of challenges and go-at-your-own-pace feel.

I am not the one who can give an honest review, but my children can. They love everything Minecraft. They are obsessed with this game and take it very seriously. As a parent, I have to say I approve.

My children have learned a lot. It forced my youngest to read because she had to read the words on the screen to get her supplies together. So her reading skills grew drastically from there. My oldest son uses math skills while playing and is in the 5th grade and they are putting him in a 6th grade math class.

I hate playing that game with a passion, but it really benefits kids! It is costing me money though!.

In 2021 this version probably isnt worth it if you want it as your main version of Minecraft, but its interesting to have in your collection if you get a good deal. This version came out before the Better Together update was released and is not supported anymore for updates.

The controls are better than I thought though, and its still fun even if its limited by the graphical and technical capabilities of the N3ds. If you want the latest version of Minecraft though, I would definitely get it on mobile if you are looking for an accessibility way to play.

About the game itself, the draw distance is very low which can make it feel a little claustrophobic and makes it difficult to see over a distance. Also there are no infinite worlds. The amount of mobs you can spawn at a time is also limited.

Its still a fun way to play if you want to play an older and unique version of Minecraft, so I rate it 4 stars. You can find a more detailed review if you look this version up online.

Pros: -This PC version of the game doesn’t require you to have the disc inserted in order to play it, only needed to download the files from said disc. -Game requires no launcher to play, just click the executable and you’re in.

Cons: -Since the Telltale servers went down, you’ll only have access to EP1, the 4 others will say “Purchased, not installed” and you won’t be able to download the rest legitimately. -The “Choices” tab in “Extras” won’t ever unlock, also as a result of the servers being down.

Nice game from playstation. My son is a minecraft fun and he can hours enjoy playing minecraft on the playstation 4, sometimes with his friends. Nice when is bad weather outside.

The game was inside the wrap that it gets in the places that make it and the game did not disappoint. It was just like the first game and nothing was wrong. It worked perfectly and I would buy again.

Minecraft Dungeons was a fun game that I enjoyed playing. Although I admire the charm it has and the time and attention they put into creating, there are certain things I would like to have modified or changed with this game.

The first is that the nine levels are far too short. Only spending 30 minutes on a task instead of a couple of hours isn’t the best deal for a $20 game, and if you have a fully equipped build like I have, you can finish an objective in half the time.

Furthermore, this game requires more diversity and depth. Each level, as well as each level’s sub-levels, include more puzzles to solve.

I love minecraft dungeons. Its my all time favorite game. Some levels are a little challenging on apocalypse mode but overall its so much fun to play. I love searching for the secrets and the chests.

The new tower is a little hard but still fun overall. I love the unique items you can collect and now gift to friends. I have to say if you’ve never played this before I insist that you try it. I might be an adult but this game is awesome.

This game is just poorly mediocre. Definitely not a “real” Minecraft game- there is no building or personal creativity and freedom in this game. It’s just an overhead adventure game based on “quests” and “missions”.

The concept for the game is ok, but the lack of creative freedom Minecraft is known for is what brings it down. So glad I didn’t pay the extra $10 for the bonus content version as this game isn’t really worth the $19.

99 plus tax that I paid for it. I shouldn’t have expected this game to be much after the Minecraft Story Mode flop. Thank God, I still have the real, original Minecraft to fall back on as well as Terraria and Starbound.

Not saying that newcomers will not like this title, but if this is your first No More Heroes game you will probably be lost story-wise. Or at least lost in terms of context, references, and characters.

That being said, this game is still a blast. I’m already a big Suda51 and NMH fan and this game totally delivered. Suda’s signature anime-punk style bleeds through everything while the game revels in its absurdities and I couldn’t get enough.

The game is a little rough around the edges–framerate’s a little choppy in the overworld, jaggies here and there, and I had one crash–but none of that could take away from the overall experience for me.

The combat is as tight as ever and there are plenty of battles to take on. I was taking on all the fights I could even when I didn’t need to for the next part of the story because I was having so much fun.

This is still one of the few games where motion controls actually make it better! Pop culture references and fourth-wall breaking galore. NMH3 is like a game based on anime that doesn’t exist, but you’ll wish it did.

Easily one of my favorite games on the Switch.

If you’re a NMH fan, this sequel will be right up your alley. It’s just as gory, chaotic, and ludicrous as the 1st 2 entries. That could also be to the game’s detriment, as it doesn’t seem that it’s gameplay and mechanics have evolved in any meaningful way.

Also, the performance on the Switch leaves much to be desired. That’s why I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this version of the game because there’s an Xbox/PS5 release right around the corner with 4K visuals and 60fps.

No More Heroes III is quite a fun, unique experience that you’ll only get on Nintendo Switch. If you’re straight up, a fan of the first two entries in the series (from back on Wii) or enjoyed Travis Strikes Again on Nintendo Switch, chances are high that you’ll like this game.

A crazy story with fun combat and high energy voice acting. It’s an overall, solid action game.

I had a good experience buying this game! The case was without dents, scratching, etc, and the game card was good as new! The customer service was also kind and helpful. The game however does has its downsides: – The controls on the switch do take a while to get used to ( as they are more simple on pc), but once you do, it’s a nice experience if you have Nintendo Switch Online! ( you cannot go into servers unless you have the subscription).

My younger sibling took a day or two to enjoy the gameplay with no trouble with the controls ( before this game she had no prior knowledge of the controls) – You cannot upload skins or make your own; you have several options from the Mario Bros skins that they offer.

If you do plan to use them in other servers, the skin will not be visible to other players but yourself. ( Meaning that they will see the default skin) This does state on the game itself, but it’s easy to miss this fact.

Overall, the graphics are nice and the gameplay is smooth except for the small things I have mentioned above!.

The Aleratec Model 240131 (not the one pictured) destroys DVDs with swirl marks. The cleaning pad has a hard center which acts like a wick, soaking up the cleaning solution. This “wick” tends to scratch the surface of Tayo Yuden Watershield DVDs.

It doesn’t seem to harm Blu-Rays for some reason. Also, the solution that you put into the cleaning reservoir (supposed to fill it to about 80%) doesn’t last long – it evaporates quickly.

Great product! So much less expensive than ordering magnetic band is this cards from Vista print or any other printer. Self stick was perfect made the job so easy

Picture quality is poor. Game is very basic and I wouldn’t recommend.

For my 7 going on 8 son’s birthday. He thought well, can you get me the pc version instead? I’m like what? I usually buy kids toys for me and they just benefit. I thought ok. We did try this xbox version and (great for me, it’s not split screen I’m old) they loved it.

He plays with his younger brother who is going to be 6 also this month. Well it gets worse. The next few days The oldest didn’t want to play and the youngest wants to play with him on roblox and I got stuck trying to level up myself.

I like the game I don’t really have much time to play and it’s easy to level up.

As someone who’s never played minecraft I can honestly say I enjoyed this game. I purchased it because I’m a fan of anything Telltale releases. They aren’t always winners, but this one plenty of fun.

I would guess it’s even more enjoyable for fans of minecraft who would understand all the references and storylines that i wasn’t familiar with. And it is looooong. You get your money’s worth in gameplay time alone.

Comes with all the dlc also.

My son loves this game, he’s enjoying the game because it actually talks in a human voice that you can understand not like the other Minecraft games. I highly recommend it for your child if they are a Minecraft gamer.

They will love the different stories, and player’s in the game it’s a win win for my son he’s 8 years old but I believe it’s great for any age, as long as they can play this game and understand what Minecraft is all about, It will be a good buy t Star’s.

This is a great game. As a family that loves Minecraft, we really enjoyed this game. It plays like a choose your own story game. You even get to pick your character. There are several options to choose from.

In the game, you watch how your choices play out, with some opportunities to actually control your character. The story is broken up into several chapters that you have to buy separately if you didn’t get the latest version.

The story itself was interesting with the right amount of humor, and memorable characters. I loved learning more about the Minecraft world!.

A game with excellent values for kids. You accomplish things every day, but also doesn’t punish you for doing less. Very easy going and can go at your own pace. but can also feel exciting because how things grow and evolve and constantly improve.

I bought Rune Factory 5 also, and I keep coming back to this game instead because it feels faster paced, more rewarding!.

Stumbled across this yesterday morning just by browsing and I am so glad I did. If you want an amazingly beautiful and uniquely chill experience than this game is for you! Was happily blown away by the quality of this game.

For $25 it is an amazing value and would highly recommend picking this up.

With so much stress out there in the world right now I’ve been enjoying the bevy of great titles over the last year that have focused more on passive or relaxing themes and moments over more traditional tendency towards just action and intensity of some kind.

To its credit, Grow does do a good job of putting you into a sort of sandbox situation with basic tools that you’ll be able to use to help everyone out, work the land, and simply seek out activities that suit you, whether catching bugs, fishing, farming, or maybe a little bit of everything.

This is how you revitalize a franchise that was starting to grow stale in it’s formula. I bought a Switch just to play this game and I do not regret my purchase. I’m going to go over pros and cons to make this review a little easier to read.

PROS: + HUGE OPEN WORLD – Lots of interesting places and things to discover. It’s quite exhilarating to scale a mountain in order to get a better view of everything around you and then paraglide to points of interest.

If you can see a place on the map, you can get to it. + COMBAT EXPERIMENTATION – Combat experimentation is fun and rewarding, for awhile (more explanation in ‘cons’ section). + FUN AND VARIED COMBAT (FOR AWHILE) – Different enemy types are interesting and have specific tactics that clearly telegraph their moves making combat a rewarding learning experience and almost never feels cheap.

+ RPG ELEMENTS – The RPG elements fit very nicely into the Zelda universe and give the game a lot of depth. Mountable horses have different stats, enemies can have different elemental types along with stronger variations, weapons, armor, and shields have wildly different stats and abilities, food and elixirs provide different buffs, etc.

+ GAME DIFFICULTY – The game is relatively difficult compared to previous Zelda games. You really have to assess combat situations before entering the fray and many enemies are punishing. You will die, many times, but you do learn, with time, and with learning comes triumph and satisfaction.

DLC adds Master Mode for the most hardcore players or those who found Normal too easy. + COOKING SYSTEM – Cooking system is deep and rewards experimentation. Cooking not only allows for the crafting of meals and elixirs which gives you numerous buffs, but it’s also one of the best ways to make money.

+ WEAPON DURABILITY – Weapon and shield durability forces you to continually hunt for new gear and keeps combat interesting and tense. While I didn’t think I would like this system at first, it makes for a much more engaging game than just getting a single, over-powered item and just relying on that the rest of the game, which would get boring, imo.

+ SHRINES – There’s over 120 ‘shrines’ which are peppered all over the map which act like mini-dungeons. They usually can be completed in 10 minutes or less and usually involve the use of several of Link’s Runes (that you get at the beginning of the game) that give you the ability to move metallic objects from a distance, throw bombs, summon ice pillars, or even freeze objects and apply force to them to launch into enemies or to other places to help solve puzzles.

I love these shrines because they’re fun to solve, and due to the game’s physics engine, many can be solved in ways the developers probably didn’t intend (look up YouTube videos on it). Shrines are short enough that they’re not a huge time investment like normal Zelda dungeons that used to demand an hour+ of your time to complete, making them ideal for short gaming sessions.

+ NO HAND HOLDING – Doesn’t explain much, doesn’t hold your hand, and expects you to learn everything from the world, NPCs, and experimentation. CONS: – BARREN FEELING OPEN-WORLD – The world feels very barren and empty, much of the time.

Many say the map is ‘dense’ but I don’t think that’s an accurate word to describe it. The map is loaded with things to do, but there is lots of empty space between those points of interest. Think if you took the map of Skyrim (a game I would call ‘dense’) and expanded it by 3 times the size, including time to travel between points of interest.

Horses don’t really help with traversal especially when you’re moving across mountainous or rocky terrain. – COMBAT GETS STALE – Combat experimentation becomes less effective as you become stronger. Ambushes with bombs, chu chu jellies, stasis, etc, all become less and less rewarding as enemies become stronger.

Before, a carefully aimed bomb could kill an enemy, outright, or roll into barrels which would take out an entire encampment, now a bomb does roughly 5% damage and most other means are hardly worth the effort over just using brute-force.

For a game that really rewarded this kind of behavior at the start, I was bummed that I couldn’t rely on those tactics later in the game, adding to the combat feeling stale and repetitive after awhile.

– CAN’T SUMMON HORSES FROM ANYWHERE – Horses cannot be summoned from anywhere. The DLC solves this with 2 different solutions, but it should have been in the base game and been an early quest/reward before you spend 50+ hours exploring the map.

This was super frustrating to me when walking to Gerudo town, which ended up being close to 25 minutes of walking/running from the nearest shrine. A horse would have made this trek much more bearable but there were no stables nearby to even take it out of.

– INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL UI – Inventory management and the menu UI could use a little work. While I loved having so many interesting items and ingredients to discover and experiment with, moving through the menus got tedious, especially when you have multiple pages of stuff to sort through or when you find new, better weapons/shields and have to go back into your menus to drop some to make space.

Menus felt cluttered and even after 80 hours, I would still fumble through menus trying to do specific things. – PERFORMANCE AND LOAD TIMES – The game runs pretty well a majority of the time, but there are certain places where it will chug, specifically when there’s lots of particle effects on-screen or there’s a lot of things to render.

This also makes load times get kind of old, as it can take up to 20 seconds to load into new areas or even just reload the area you are in, after dying. Even dying in a shrine results in a 10 second reload, which is baffling since they’re not in the open-world and shouldn’t take that long to render, especially when they’ve already been rendered before your death.

– GRAPHICS – While the game looks pretty good most of the time, there’s other times that the hardware limitations really show, like when you’re trekking across big meadows or rocky mountains with little detail.

It looks really good for a handheld system, but doesn’t quite hold up to console standards, even compared to last gen. – EXPLAINS NOTHING – While I love that the game doesn’t hold your hand, I was equally frustrated by not having a clue how to do certain things.

While a purist would argue that all the answers are SOMEWHERE in the game or that you should just experiment, someone like me just doesn’t have the patience to play 90% of the games content to then find out that a certain ability will significantly help map traversal and reduce travel time.

I want to know these things up-front or at the latest, halfway through the game, since getting an ability to improve travel time feels less rewarding when I’ve already slowly trekked through a vast majority of the map at 60 hours.

DLC rewards are not as great if you have nearly completed and covered the entire base game. what’s the use of a horse or motorcycle you can summon anywhere if you don’t have anything left to explore? Anyways, I absolutely love this game.

Given the number of rather large gripes that I had with it, I felt like a 4 is a fair score. I really look forward to the next game but I hope people can acknowledge and admit the game’s shortcomings, otherwise, these things won’t be fixed in order to give us the most refined and amazing follow-up that we all are already salivating for.

Breath of the Wild is simultaneously a Zelda game and not a Zelda game. If you’re like me and you’ve always loved the 2D Zelda games better than the 3D Zelda games, you can rest assured that this is not a run-of-the-mill 3D Zelda game.

The heavy focus on open world exploration, weapons, food, wardrobe, side quests, and doing whatever you want has never been seen in a Zelda game much less any first party Nintendo title, and it is absolutely refreshing.

I have personally spent over 120 hours in this version of Hyrule, and very little of my experience has been linear. You want to go that direction? Go that direction. You want to climb that tower and glide to wherever? Do it! You want to try to ride that horse and get bucked off repeatedly? Go for it! Do you want to destroy hordes of enemies, collect supplies and treasures, and talk to all the NPCs along the way? Nothing is stopping you! Do not let your preconceived dislikes of 3D Zelda stop you from playing this 3D Zelda title; the battles are fluid and not “Z-targeting” stiff like the previous 3D games in the series, and the enemies are actually smart.

Every improvement the Switch Lite offers is matched by an equivalent drawback. As most other reviewers have indicated, the cheaper price point comes at the expense of docking ability and the rumble and motion control features of the joy con controllers.

We knew that once the specs were announced. The Switch Lite was supposed to be offer a cheaper entry to the Switch platform aimed at players who are predisposed to use the system in handheld mode. Some of the lost features make perfect sense in this respect a smaller screen size and form factor would necessitate permanently attaching the controllers, and docking ability could be omitted for a system that was designed with handheld use in mind.

Whats surprising about this model is how it solves some problems that plagued the OG Switch and introduces new ones the spec sheet didnt suggestIMPROVEMENTS Better display for handheld mode, simply because a smaller screen features greater pixel density at the same 720p resolution.

Some players think the display panel is of slightly higher quality, but the difference is negligible. Battery life has been slightly improved. The standout improvement, however, has to be in the body build.

The Switch Lite uses a rigid plastic chassis that doesnt squeak or do the banana bend like the regular Switch. The display is mounted inside the chassis too, rather than inserted into a frame like in the original Switch.

Those of us who have had screens start to pop out of the body on the regular Switch will be overjoyed with the design of the Lite, which has a unibody style of construction keeping the screen safely where it should be.

DOWNGRADESThe controls, meaning the actual joysticks and buttons, are flimsy and audibly squeak when used. Those of us worried about joy con drift wont find any comfort in the design of the Switch Lites sticks and buttons.

The left thumbstick squeals when manipulated. The directional pad sits in a cavity noticeably larger than the button itself, making it slide uneasily when pushed. Even the input buttons on the right side feel wiggly, and they dont push into the device as smoothly as right joy con buttons do.

Use the Switch Lite for a day and youll be wondering when the sticks are going to pop off, and how much itll cost for Nintendo to repair it. The speakers are a little on the weak side too, and their placement inevitably leads to users hands muffling them.

And this little guy gets HOT when playing resourceintensive games. The heat vents at the top of the device are smaller too, so the extra heat produced in the console interior has even less of a chance to escape.

Will the Switch Lite eventually melt its own insidesWhen the Lite was announced, all the technical tradeoffs for the lower price and the portable focus felt justified. The OG Switch is kind of uncomfortable in handheld mode, and prolonged handheld use can put a great big ol bend in your Switch if you grip it too tightly.

Gamers who wanted a better portable model had every reason to be excited by the Switch Lite. For the most part, the Lite model succeeds at what it was built to do offer a better on the go Switch experience But the concerns posed by the fragilefeeling buttons and the rapid heatup of the device when in use leave me wondering how long this thing is going to last.

Note to Nintendo please make a Switch model that does not suffer from an alarming hardware problem.

I can’t believe that I waited so long to get a switch. This is AWESOME. Unlike prior handhelds (DS, Gameboy Advance, etc. ) which played stunted, graphically weaker versions of games that bore little resemblance to their console counterparts, this device plays the EXACT same games as its television capable counterpart.

I like the lite version in particular because: 1. Cool color (I love this blue) 2. Better battery life 3. integrated controls with a traditional D-Pad (the separate joycons always “off” to me). At some point I am going to go ahead and pick up a set of joycons (and a separate charger since you can’t charge them using this device) just so that I can take better advantage of motion controls in some games (looking at you “Arms”).

I think it’s very cool that I have this option (the advantage of integrated controls with the option for external if I want them). Memory is somewhat paltry at 32GB. I’m going top have to pick up an SD card to supplement the internal storage.

“Smite” and “Paladins” appear to take up a little less than 20GB each, so I’m thinking that I don’t want to get anything less than 128GB if I’m going to put “Rocket League” and “Fortnite” on this as well.

So far, this has been absolutely great. I strongly recommend this console.

I would not recommend any purchase from Nintendo. this is the third time I buy something, and every time there have been issues. promised 30 minutes delivery on their website, it took almost a week. despite being a tech company they have clunky systems that prevent them to solve customer issues.

definitely not worth considering, Nintendo Switch is definitely my worst purchase of the last 20 years.

This game has been a lot of fun great when you’re in a group and want to play some short games. There’s a lot of choice and some are a little strange but most are great fun. I love the fact they’re quick and to the point.

Clearly a game designed to show off some off the consoles capabilities. Only giving 4 stars as it is a little pricey for what it is.

Amazingly entertaining and imaginative game! Get a little friendly competition going with your friend or partner! Great for parties or small get-togethers for hours of fun. There are 28 fun “mini” games that take only a few minutes to get the hang of- you face your opponent for most of the games.

I find this to be a cool approach to a multi-player game. There are also funny game demonstration clips to help explain how each game is played. If you got the new Nintendo Switch, give this game a try!.

This revised model of the Switch comes with a number of features that I honestly can’t fully appreciate as someone who didn’t own the previous model. The big thing that drew me in was the extended battery life, even though so far I haven’t played much in handheld mode and not at all in tabletop, but they use the same amount of battery either way I would imagine.

The reason I’m giving this system five stars probably say more about how good it is than anything else. But I pretty much expected as much. I’m sure by now you can go online and find more detailed reviews for the gaming system, but in case you’re wondering here, this one comes with the system, two gray joycons, two attachments to turn each joycon into its own controller, a base to connect both joycons into the formation of a singular controller, the required cables, and the Switch dock.

So you’ll probably want to buy a few things alongside this such as an SD card for reasonable storage space, a pro controller for a more standard controller experience, maybe a dock sleeve to prevent the possibility of scratching the screen from insertion and ejection of the system, an online pass if you plan to play any games with online features.

just basically a lot of things that would be nice if they came with the system itself. This will inflate the price further, but the thing here is that this is going to replace the old models of the Switch and simply make this the main one manufactured now.

So. basically, if you want a cheaper Switch you’ll want to get a Switch Lite and this one will still cost about 300 bucks like the 2. 5+ year-old original variant still costs. That is, unless you want to go used.

I’m only bringing up these points because while this is a great system, I do think you should be aware of what is likely to happen with prices and availability going forward and plan accordingly. Once I realize a Switch was still going to cost the same if I wanted the ability to do on and off TV play I decided I might as well just hop on board with this newer variant.

I’d recommend you do the same as it has had tweaks to make it just a slightly better version all around than the previous model. Otherwise, if price is a concern, wait for the Switch Lite and see how it tickles your fancy.

Also, here’s tip. If you want to turn the system off as opposed to leaving it in sleep mode, simply hold down the power button on the system for a few seconds and then a menu will appear with the option to restart or shut down.

Also note that you cannot play on the TV off of the Switch’s battery power. The dock needs to be plugged in for the dock to function. I hope something in here was helpful.

I’ve owned my Nintendo Switch for three years, the games supplied for the Nintendo Switch never disappoint. The games are fun and interactive while also being able to be played with friends and family, this console and its games have brought much joy to nights in with friends and family.

My friends and I find ourselves playing the Nintendo Switch for hours when we hang out and my family has game nights once a week where we like to enjoy Mario Party, Mario Kart, and other multiplayer games made for this console.

The Nintendo Switch allows me to play old school games that I once enjoyed as a child, which bring nostalgic feelings. This console can last and be added onto by buying joy-cons and attachments for each game, the biggest pro for this console is the fact that it can be played alone or with others.

Enjoying the new and old games on this console with friends and family is always a good time, when the Nintendo Switch is brought up everyone involved is ready to indulge in all the great selections they have for the console.

One downfall for this system is that not all games from the past are yet available for the public to play, Nintendo slowly releases games for this console old and new. The only perk I could think of to fix this minor issue is having all old school games released when the Nintendo Switch was first released, this would allow more games to play that were once played by adults when they were children.

I recommend this console to anyone who enjoys Nintendo games, it can bring a night together easily with friends and family. This console is very kid-friendly and also has a huge adult fan base, all games can be enjoyed by any age group and allow individuals to play the games they enjoy together.

I purchased the Animal Crossing Edition Switch approx. 2 years ago and wanted to do a full review from a hardcore gamers perspective. For starters, I did not purchase my console from Home Deliveries USA but from a local, national gamestore but theres no doubtin my mind that Home Deliveries USAs product would have arrived quickly and as promised.

So, Ive been a gamer since the early 1980s as still remember getting my first atari, I enjoy all types of gaming consoles and have logged thousands of hours over the last 35 years or so. To be honest, I wasnt excited about the switch coming out as Nintendo has not really geared their products towards the hardcore gamer and have instead focused mostly on family style gaming.

Matter of fact, the last Nintendo console I had prior to the switch was the gamecube which most people know was a disappointment compared to other consoles that were out at the time. Like I mentioned , I bought my switch around 2 years ago and bought it as an impulse buy.

Covid was in full swing and I found myself as home more so I figured if I was going tp be at home then I might as well buy the switch even know I already owned the ps4 and xb1. Figured Id complete my collection.

The very first games I purchased were BOTW and Mario Odysey. Those titles are Nintendo specific so I decided I was only going to purchase Nintendo exclusive titles for the switch considering that I an buy the cross platform titles for my other consoles and save some money.

I was surprised at the initial cost of the switch games vs other consoles but soon learned that Nintendo does that intentionally but also that the carts retain their value more than disk based consoles.

I was very surprised at the game selection that the switch offers. As a game collector I was amazed at their hard copy selection which other brands dont typically release. Switch gameplay does seem a little dated and their graphics arent necessarily up to par but theres more to gaming than just graphics.

Okay, I love all Rune Factory games. This one is no different. These games are a slice of life type of game where you can grow crops on your farm, fight monsters in dungeons, talk to people in town and do quests for them, befriend the townspeople, and even fall in love and marry select people in town.

They are always colorful and fun games, full of great characters, relaxing times, and you can make the game whatever you want. This game is the newest Rune Factory. Only released for the Nintendo Switch.

Everything is included in the game for the base cost. You can purchase some character costumes from the Nintendo store for an extra fee, but these are optional. The graphics are usually 2d sprites, but this is the first time in the series the developers chose to move to 3d renderings.

This made the game look a little different, run a little slower with some lag, and made the camera flip around more than usual. Even with these quirks, I still recommend the game. The basic game involves your character (you can choose between male or female) joining the town of Rigbarth as a ranger and helping protect the townspeople from monsters for free room and board, as you’ve lost your memory.

You will do tasks you choose from a task board, attend festivals, grow vegetables and fruit trees in your garden and sell them for money. You can also learn recipes to cook with your produce, go fishing, use a hammer to mine rocks, use an axe to cut trees for wood, learn to forge weapons and armor, learn crafting, make potions, and decorate your home.

You can also expand your house and even the town. The overall plot is interesting and has many mysterious events and subplots with the villagers. You can make new clothing, change your clothes, and even the clothing for marriage candidates, take baths, fight all sorts of monsters and have boss fights, build a monster barn, tame cute and ferocious monsters, have monster pets (even boss monsters!!), collect produce from monsters (milk, eggs, wool, and so on), ride your monsters into battle (wolves, and so on), train your monsters to water your plants and help you fight, convince townspeople to help you fight, and then get married.

Marriage is its own huge subject in this game. You can skip it or have fun trying to attract a 3d sprite. There’s same-sex marriage for the first time in this Rune Factory, so you can be with any marriage candidate you want.

You build up the friendship level with your chosen villager, offer presents to them, and go on dates. Once the villager is at a high enough heart level, you can ask them to marry you with the right items.

And, everyone in town has strong likes and dislikes!.

I love the runefactory series and this one does not cut it. The game play requires you to use both joysticks to get around and that gets really confusing when you then need to talk to someone or perform a task but have to be in the perfect position to be able to move your right hand back to the A button.

It’s very frustrating. Also, the save function doesn’t work the same, so if you’re in the middle of gameplay and attempting to save in a data slot with previously auto saved data, the game will not save your current spot and will spit you back out to where you last saved.

It wasted a full hour of play and didn’t save any of my progress. The jokes that the townspeople make don’t make sense. The cut scenes are extremely slow. I’m really not a fan, extremely disappointing after paying for preorder.

The gameplay is like any other rune factory game. Farm sim with added monster slaying fun and marriage candidates. The graphics are updated in this version, I really don’t like having to constantly turn the camera around because my sense of direction is horrible but I’m getting more used to it.

I just wish they added more to the game beside the modernized graphics. Being able to create your own character would make it a lot better. There’s also not a whole lot to choose from for marriage candidates.

The only male with an adult male body is the wolf man lol. More variety and customization could open up this game to wider audiences.

I purchased my first Nintendo Switch in February of 2020. I knew all of my friends had one and had peer pressure to buy a well-known game called Super Smash Bros. The Nintendo Switch is a handheld, portable gaming system manufactured by Nintendo who is well known for creating the character Mario.

It’s a game system that you can play with family or do journey-long type games to cure boredom. The retail price of a regular Nintendo Switch is $300. 00. The Switch has removable joy-cons, which enable you to play handheld or table mode making the experience suitable for the various games.

The Switch is a portable device where you can play anywhere. Compared to other gaming consoles, its online membership plans are more affordable. When I play the Legend of Zelda, it is better to have it in handled mode rather than tabletop mode.

I’ve purchased a family game that is available on the Switch, which was Super Mario Party. This game is only played in table mode, or you can connect it with your TV to have a bigger screen. Very fun.

When going out to parties or just on a long road trip, I tend to take my Switch in case I get bored or want to play with my little sister, and it is there, in its case, fully charged. We just take the joycons off and play together.

I’ve also purchased another set of joy-cons in case my Dad and Mom would like to play as well. I play more on my Nintendo Switch than my Xbox One because the membership for one year online is 20, while it is 60 dollars for Xbox.

The Xbox one is a home console, while the Switch is very versatile. Now the Switch does have some flaws. Something that has happened to me would be on my right, but the buttons don’t respond on time, making the play experience less fun.

I have researched it, and other people have also had the same issue, and it could be a bug or a manufacturing problem on Nintendo’s part. Now I would say that it does not have the best graphics compared to the other consoles, but it out beats the cons for what it offers.

This product from Nintendo has to be one of my most significant investments since it did cure bordem for me while being at home during the pandemic. I would really recommend this product for those the travel a lot to play on the go.

For this product, I would give it a rating of stars 5/5 because of the games they have to available for this counsel and just the overall benefits of what it can do.

My first Nintendo Switch. I was waiting for this little design update for years since I avoided the first release as Nintendo has a history of releasing a slight redesign a year or two later but this took longerI feel like the only games worth getting are the Nintendo exclusive titles.

I buy all the others off of Steam as the graphics, performance and price is better. I just wish there was a Steam client to stream via a PC but I understand why Nintendo won’t do this although from my perspective I’m not going to buy third party titles as the Switch is underpowered.

I’ve been very happy with Mario Kart, Zelda BoTW, Animal Crossing and some free to play titles. Looking forward to getting some more Nintendo fist party titles as they do squeeze a lot out of the hardware they have and Nintendo games are generally more fun IMOI do wish Nintendo would go for a high performance ARM chip though as I think it prevents developers from releasing titles that require better performance.

Hopefully the next Switch will address this and be backwards compatible as the competition have released backwards compatible consoles and I think other Nintendo customers have been very loyal to the brand and perhaps repurchasing old titles over the years has become frustrating and seen as a cash grab.

I’m too recent a customer to experience joy con drift but I’m a tinkerer so I’ll be happy to do the repair myself but I understand that a lot of people may not be happy to do this. I’m a bit surprised they did not address this problem given the widespread criticism.
