This is my favorite multipurpose super food. Just a spoonful a day mixed in a warm drink, oatmeal, yogurt or even spaghetti adds many many many health benefits. It gives me energy. Good natural long lasting energy with no caffeine or sugar crash.

I had already bought this product before realizing how mutinous it is. Chia seeds are one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet! If I could only buy one product from their store to supplement my diet.

It will be this chia seeds!.

I have never used chia seeds before, but a friend showed me how to make “pudding” with them, using almond milk. I have fine tuned it with oatmeal (one cup almond milk, 1/4th cup old fashioned oats and 1/4th cup chia seeds).

Mix together and let sit overnight in the fridge. It is great you have “instant” breakfast in the morning. Sometimes I top it with fruit and granola. My friend has used coconut milk before too. I also used some chia seeds in my smoothies too.

Am looking for other things to do with them too. I felt that the seeds were fresh and they arrived quickly.

I had a great time watching American meadows micro-clover seeds sprouting. It grew quickly. Results exceeded my expectations. I planted the first of may (after final leaf fall because I garden under a big live oak) and watered daily.

Picture is from one month and a week after planting. The heat of the Savannah summer has knocked it back a bit as I planted late and I have chickens so they dug up some of it since taking up the bird netting.

I will be seeding again and likely earlier next year. If you don’t have roaming chickens then you’re not going to have a problem introducing micro-clover to your lawn.

Not sure if it was the heat that came through the last month, but maybe 1/4 sprouted. And they are so small. We got this to cover our backyard. Our backyard is mainly dirt and we have dogs. We have garden beds for our vegetables and wanted something low maintenance for ground cover.

Will be trying something else.

Great service and product; minimal packaging (TY); clear instructions. Only 4 stars b/c we needed to reorder and spread 3X as much micro clover seed as expected to cover 350s/f. Will take 4-6 weeks for second seeding to appear.

The plants do germinate quickly. However, less than half of the 50 seeds germinated. I followed all the instructions and have UV lights on the plants 24 hours. My students whose plants didn’t grow are very disappointed.

I am equally disappointed as I spent a lot of money on a small quantity of seeds that didn’t perform as stated.

Should have had more upfront info about Cool Fluorescent lights required for growing indoors before I made the purchase. I think I can do a work around, but that remains to be seen. Even with the classroom environment the growing system would not work as well as having it in one’s home in a storage space or unoccupied room where it could be check on periodically.

It may also be that some LED grow light combination could be used, but it might be somewhat more expensive rather than picking up a used fixture of some sort. If you intend to do more growing in the future of various kinds of plants then the LED lights might prove the better investment and might be easier to keep at the preferred height of about 10 cm (as I recall) above the tops of the growing plants.

To be fair the vendor does support this product with instructions in the seed kit along with offering other inventory that can be purchased to complete the total grow exhibit.

Our students grow Fast Plants as part of an investigation into the life cycles of organisms and how all organisms share common characteristics. We purchase these seeds each year and always have successful results.

Each group of 4 students make a planter system and sows 8 seeds. For many of our groups we can expect 5-7 seeds to sprout within one to two days. Not long after cotyledons are easily observed as are the beginnings of more complex plant parts (e.

We are currently using 250g of seed/1020, soaked ~18 hrs, soil grown, under white full spectrum LED 84 watts/4 trays, bottom watered in veg. Our seed lot had great germ rate and we yield ~1. 2lb /1020 tray with our seed rate.

Speckled Pea vs. Yellow Pea: this is going to come down to your intended consumer. Currently, our sales are farmers markets and we are developing our restaurant sales for next season. Given that, we prefer Speckled for our market customers & mixes whereas we think our chefs would mostly prefer Yellow (most tendrils).

Speckled mixes much easier with other micros due to fewer and less substantial tendrils. The tendrils in Yellow tend to stick together and don’t really break apart easily making Yellow better for sales as a single varietal.

Yellow Pea has had no mold issues and yields slightly higher than Speckled. 5 star for crop flavor/potential for sales 5 star for crop growth speed/seed price/yield 5 star for customer service 5 star for seed quality.

This microgreen has a good crunch to it. It is unique in appearance, with its many tendrils, for those who like a display on a plate or salad. Its flavor has the greatest contrast to other pea microgreens as a second variety.

You will find people who prefer its taste. The tendrils tangled together I cut these in a single mat and then pull apart into 8 or 9 equal parts and package at $3. Makes processing a bit quicker and you have a smaller package for those who fear not being able to use a larger $5 bag, or are unfamiliar with microgreens and would like to try them without spending much.

I stand them up in the bag to highlight the tendrils. I prepare one or two trays for every market day. And of course the seed is organic; important to many.

The organic mung sprouting seeds always sprout great. The last organic soy sprouting seeds I purchased? A lot of them eventually sprouted, but too late for me. They used to sprout a lot better than this.

I have a 3 day limit to eat them from the time they are first put into water. The last can wouldn’t sprout within 3 days. The last organic amaranth sprouting seeds I purchased? Not even one seed would sprout, regardless of what I did.

The organic hard wheat sprouting seeds I purchased? The wheat experience is similar to the mung experience: the wheat always sprouts great. I really thank everyone who makes it possible for us to be able to purchase organic sprouting seeds.

I know it must take a lot of effort from a lot of people to make this happen. The sprouts are one of my main sources of protein, and, I think, the best source of protein I have.

These mung beans are very tasty, have a nice texture and sprout up nice. My only concern is they have these little hard pebble like rocks in them. It might be just the mung beans themselves,the more I examine them.

Some are harder, and they don’t sprout. But when your munching away on them and you hit one, I’m afraid of chipping a tooth. My bag lot is 184133.

I have been using fast plants for the AP Biology Artificial selection lab for 5 years, and have had inconsistent results. I had previous experience growing fast plants in a laboratory setting, so the first few years that I grew them in the classroom I used a similar setup and bought supplies from a local garden center.

After mixed results, I purchased the complete growing setup (watering system, soil, fertilizer, etc. ) from Carolina last year. I had one round of healthy plants, and then the next batch were stunted and frail.

The same thing happened this year. This lab requires a large starting population (about 200 plants) so having to replant is very time-consuming (and pricey). I would hate to give up this lab, but I’m running out of ideas.

I have never been more disappointed in a product. We ordered FOUR packs of these seeds because they are supposed give a 9:3:3:1 ratio. About 1/3 of the seeds simply died, and of those that did survive we have bizzare ratios.

My students were learning about chi square calculations to prove fit–and this was a waste of time, of money, and of energy. I posted my concerns about what might have gone wrong to a professional page for biology teachers and heard from several others that the exact same problem had happened to them.

One said that he suspects they’ve stopped checking for quality at all. I will NEVER order seeds or live materials again.

Just ordered more of these. They germinate quickly and are delicious. I still have some seeds left from a year ago and they are still going strong but wanted more so I have them when the old batch runs out.

I germinate them in a mason jar and i do put them in the window for sun because I like them green. Great on salads sandwiches, in soup and even plain. Thank you.

I wold say great, but found them very slow to “pop” compared with ones bought from the local bulk bins at the local grocery store. W once they got going all was well. BTW I do soak in a very diluted H2 O2 solution.

We have been sprouting Alfalfa for some time and decided to try clover. They sprout as easily as alfalfa and taste delicious. I think they have a slightly stronger flavor, but very similar. Part of my family likes alfalfa better and the others clover.

As far as which you will like better is going to just be a matter of taste. They are both excellent. Most of our seeds germinated so the seed quality is excellent. I have been sprouting seeds for just over a year now I can’t imagine why more people don’t sprout them themselves.

They are so easy and save $$$ from buying them in the store. They are also fresher.

The product was as described and packaged and shipped well. I cannot say much about any of the seeds since I wont begin sprouting until later this fall. I am satisfied with my purchase.

The clover did pretty well. It did need a lot more attention than some of my other microgreens. I had to spray the roots directly from the bottom often because the roots stopped growing through the bottom of the tray wholes.

I used Jute pads.

Ive successfully grown my own food before 2022 and am ready to grow more! Non-GMO is the first thing I look for. Thank you, 4patriots, for supplying these seeds. Plenty of food can be grown without a big yard.

These food seeds are fairly easy to learn to grow and this practice will help prepare the novice gardener to grow other great food. Anyone interested in these seeds should buy them and learn how. It tastes sooo much better! 4patriots, please provide other non-GMO veggie and fruit seed varieties!.

Don’t wait because you may not be able to get these seeds at a later date. I’d been waiting for over two years to get heirloom seed vaults from a different supplier and they have net been able to fulfill my request.

I’m glad I found these when I did. My old seed vaults are approaching the end of their useful life so I needed to acquire more. We are living in unprecedented times and who knows what lies ahead. I’m confident of one thing; it is going to get worse before it gets better.

Preparedness is not just a passive idea, it needs to be a way of life.

First off, I had no idea how many to soak for a 10×20. I know some sources say 200-300 grams but I don’t have a scale and couldn’t find the conversion anywhere so I had to wing it (I wish they would put this in the descriptions).

I planted 1 1/4 cups in a 10×20 tray and that was way too much. The seeds ended up expanding and overlapping causing a lot of seeds to not sprout. I think I’m going to only do 3/4 cup next time so if anyone was wonder and didn’t have a scale, you finally found your answer.

Great taste, somewhat fast turnover (I think they will grow faster without so many in a tray), and they really take off after exposing them to light. all in all 4. 8/5. We’ll see how the next batch goes.

Found a tin of dunn peas that was boughten over ten years ago. I didnt know the tin had been opened back then. So, I was surprised that when removing the white plastic cover, I saw an open canister of dunn peas.

I tried to sprout the seeds to see if they were any good. Low and behold, they sprouted. The can had a date stamped on it. I believe they were good until 2015. Here is is 2022 and the seeds were still good.

Amazing. I am guessing this canister was opened over ten years ago.

These seeds responded very well. About 95% germinated, took 8 days to first harvest; about 5 inches tall with leaves; no tendrils. I use coco coir in a 5 inch tray, very light soil covering over seeds and during blackout I add between 1-2 pounds of weight on top of the peas until they start lifting it up and then I transfer to light.

I also harvested just above the first small leaf (about 2 in. from the soil) and a second harvest sprouted. The flavor is stronger than the previous peas I had from a different vendor. I like my peas more mild so will try another variety, but if you like them stronger than you should enjoy these.

I just started sprouting this mix. The seeds look very good. For me, there is a learning curve, but I found a variety videos online helped me get the bigger picture of what was going on with sprouting.

Originally I purchased seeds to sprout for the chlorophyll content. I am just learning to garden, but I want I ‘more sure’ system of getting nutrient dense food and I think MPS sprouting products are going to be very good.

And the fact that they are protein providers is a plus, plus.

I had no idea you could grow sprouts like this! I bought the tower and several other sprouts as well. I was so excited to get my kit. The first round of growing went perfectly! I Immediately made a stir fry with other vegetables as well.

It was delicious! It makes me happy to know I did it here in my home, it is good for me and so delicious!.

Shopping is too easy. Shipping was much faster then I expected. Purchased a six month to start and decided to pickup a breakfast bucket to go ahead and open and try. Quality was excelent, well beyond my expectation.

Hiping to never need, and if not then exceltent camo/backpacking foods. After trying went ahead and purchased a full year to added to the stores.
