15 Best Seat Covers For Rav4 (2023 Updated)

We have owned the seat defender covers for about two years. We use them on the front bucket seats on our Rav4. This purchase was for the rear bench seat cover. These things wear like iron. We live in a beach community and leave the covers on all the time.

My truck has leather seats and these seat covers keep them looking like new. Day to day work has worn out my seats in the past, resulting in expensive repair costs. These have eliminated that. They need some sort of strap to keep the bottom in place.

The rubber lining wears off in about 3 years, only on the drivers seat. This is due to the bottom moving around when you get in and out. However, the seat underneath looks great. I would recommend them.

My 2910 Dodge Challenger has white leather seats and we are always careful, but had to take it in for service work. This cover gave us the preventative measure needed. It fit well, the gripper back held it in place and its big enough to protect the seat.

I have spent around $600 on seat covers in the past. The custom covers are nice for about a week. They get loose and then the problems start. These Aries universal covers are so easy to install at around 20 seconds and look great.

Easy clean in the washer and make sure you dry these for alonky 1 minute. All done and put back in your truck or car. Its that easy. The rubber backing holds in place really good. Believe me these are great and wont break the bank.

Dont get fooled by custom covers.

It first I was disappointed that the design of the cover did not include buckling them down around the seat. But the top of the cover fits very well over the head rest and shoulders of the seat, so I kept them.

This feature allows for easy and fast removal when needed. A plus that I hadnt expected. They stay in place do to the rubbery backing on the tough canvas material. another plus. And they have now been tested with two dogs sitting, scratching and laying on them.

Best $21. 99 ever spent! Okay, I read the other reviews. and some didnt like these seat covers. They fit my 2019 Jeep Wrangler perfect, and dont slip around. They covered the entire back of the seat, which was important to me, as my dogs sit in the back, and slobber on everything.

I can remove these, and wash them, when needed. Great buy.

A little on thin side but I wasnt looking for anything expensive . Took me about 10 minutes to figure out straps once I did easy ..I didnt read instructions , I went by common sense … Typical woman

This is my second set of these seat covers. The first set I used for about 3 years until they were looking pretty ratty. Overall, they do what I want them to (keeping my seats cool) and they are very affordable.

I had to cut a hole in the side for the armrest which is no big deal because the fabric doesn’t run or fray.

My 25 year old leather driver’s seat was showing wear for the years. But my Mercedes 400E just keeps rolling along at 175K miles. You can imagine how many times I have gotten in and out of that seat.

I could not justify expensive reapolstery and other seat covers were expensive and alot of work to custom fit. This simple slip over was all I needed to cover some unsightly tears. What a great inexpensive solution.

Color true, easy clean, worked Easily on my 2019 CRV. Trick: Loop all elastic strings through circle end of metal clips 1st, pinch tight with needle nose pliers, put on seat covers. Clip straight end metal pieces with elastic directly under your seat to anything metal under the seats.

Easier to install this way.

Holy crap! Projected delivery date was October 3, and the seat covers came YESTERDAY – the 27th of September. I am duly impressed, with the look, feel, and overall quality of these covers. Not to mention the affordable price – we’re going to order a set for the Tacoma next! Five stars, folks.

First off, I must say shipping was fast, like almost a week faster than I was told. That is a big WOW! Covers seem to be well made and were very easy to install. My only concern is the need for the S hooks of which I was not aware.

Other than having to buy some hooks, I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking from covers.

Was looking for an affordable option to cover up damage to my jeep seats & these were the perfect purchase. Color was exactly like the picture. Each seat cover came with two pieces (one for the bottom & one for the back) which made the fit somewhat adjustable, easy to install and fit much better than covers from my past.

The attached bungees & clips & s-rings secure the cover in place nicely. I have yet to use the compartments on the back, but they are super cool. Had a slight issue, but customer service was prompt at getting back to me & issuing me a fix.

Would definitely purchase again.

1. No instructions 2. Seat cover portion fit but long straps that clip under the seat from front to back were too short so the seat could not be moved or adjusted. To overcome we had to cut slits in the lower back of the actual seat fabric – not ideal but it worked and the seats can move now.

3. No instructions. did I already mention that. There are bungee loops on the seat covers and they give you a bag of S hooks so you can use your creativity to figure out where to use em. I think they actually look pretty good and the storage components are fine.

I purchased these seat protectors to go over some new Smittybilt racing seats I put in my 2004 Jeep Wrangler. There protectors have some versatility to fit other seat profiles besides just the common factory seats.

They went on fairly easily. Every bucket had its mate. There were also elastic bands with hooks to help the fit. My only gripe would be a little more padding on the center panel of the upper and lower sections for a more comfortable ride.

When my new daddy picked me up in West Virginia we had to cross the Shenandoah gap at about 3000 feet to get back to my new home in Virginia. Lots of switchbacks. New daddy drives fast. I got sick to my stomach and puked all over the seat.

Daddy found out my sisters and brothers when they left with their new daddies and mommies also got sick because of the mountain switchbacks etc. my folks washed the seat which protected the car seat completely and have used it every day since taking me shopping, looking for doggy clothes to stay warm and other trips.

I almost didn’t buy this because it was quite a bit more expensive than the others, but I’m glad I didn’t cheap out. It brilliantly has a bottom edge that goes over the seat. gee, why DON’T the others do that?! It is pretty thick/hefty material that seems like it will be quite durable.

It is a little slippery, but I have one VERY large dog and one mid-size, so I’m not too concerned they’ll slide off the seat. I figure the dog hair won’t stick as well, so GOOD. The fit is really quite good (Chevy Equinox), so I’m very happy with this purchase.

I was so excited when I saw this on Chewy website it’s exactly what we need. We have the Infinity QX30 (Crossover) and our furbaby when with us he is frisky moving left and right from window to window.

So to prevent his nails from snagging the back seat I purchased this. It stays in place with all Dolce’ movement also the bottom which is just placed or tucked into the sides of the seat that to stays in place.

If this came with instructions, I could not find them. After trying to attach the cover to my seat, I ended up with two straps, two hooks, and an elastic loop, with no idea where any of it is supposed to attach.

I tried multiple times to attach them to various parts of my car and to each other, with no luck. Despite that issue, it does seem to be good quality, I was tugging on it quite a lot to try to get it to attach, and I never felt that it was likely to break.

I did not see any loos threads, or damaged material to make me concerned. When I sat in it, I could tell that my seat was more comfortable, which surprised me as it was a little long for my car. The sitting part of the seat started a few inches past where it should have.

I have a 2010 Prius, and I think this may have worked better for a bigger vehicle. I was pretty hot while sitting in it and the material did stick to my skin a little bit.

It took me far too long to figure out how to take off my head rests, but after that, smooth sailing. I do admit, I did FAIRLY recently installed different seat covers on another vehicle, so I was familiar with the general process and how things worked.

The fit is great. I couldn’t be happier. Even my center console fits well. Past trucks, this piece never seemed to fit right. I even went without the one piece in my old tuck. This fits well as you can see.

Quality is still unknown as I just installed them. However, no tears or bad stitching out of the box. Everything stretched on nicely, and seems well made. All straps were secured nicely, and I tugged fairly hard on a few for the best fit.

I give it five stars for bang for your buck because I was looking for something not flashy/protect the seat/preserve the trucks value/and not overly priced. This seat cover seems to check all of the boxes.

These seat covers fit my 2017 F-150 XLT perfectly. They are exactly what I was looking for. They feel like very good quality covers. Once installed you don’t even notice that they are seat covers. If you look really close you can tell obviously, but at first glance they just look like they are part of the seat! They were moderately easy to install.

The directions say you do not have to remove the front seats if you prefer not to. I did remove the front seats because it made it much, much easier and faster. I am very hard on my truck seats so these covers were absolutely worth the costs.

Over time I know I will destroy them, then I can replace them and my original seats will still be in mint condition! Plus, I have a grey fabric for my original seats and the black makes the inside of my truck look much nicer!.

I want to start by saying I’m very disappointed. I’ve bought rough country for awhile now. That being said I work construction and needed something to save my seats. I decided to go with these covers, wrong.

Not only can you not get any water on them when you reach out to customer service the person just tells you everytime you get water on them you need to unclip the 6 clips everytime from each one to dry it.

Makes sense right. Not really. I don’t really understand how a seat cover should need to be pulled off everytime it gets wet. After a heavy rain storm I got in my truck and it got wet and after that my truck smelled of mildew from the seat cover holding water in it.

Never again will I ever purchase these. Also customer care was no help at all actually the total opposite with the remarks that made.

This is a great product. A+ quality material. Easy install. Overall good fit. Looks nice. Great seat protection, waterproof = stainproof. Overall, I’m very pleased with this product. I would definitely recommend them.

Wanted a set of seat covers for a hunting trip in far SW Texas. Was worried about cactus thorns tearing up my seats and this truck is my daily driver. These were perfect. The canvas material is not too much different from my briar chaps and covered everything they needed to.

Only took about 20 minutes to install, in the dark. The headrest covers were really tight and hard to get on (very, VERY tight). Almost gave up on those as that was not what I really needed these for.

The seat portion went on easy. I’m a bit concerned about the strap underneath the bottom of the seat due to all the extra stuff underneath (I have the 8-way power seats). They are not fit like a glove sized but pretty close.

I got back late from my trip and haven’t had time to take back off. No problems or comfort issues sitting in rush hour traffic either.

These seat covers are great, once you get them installed. Ignore the install instructions that come with the covers or the videos since they will be zero help to you for anything older then 09. Well see how well they do over time.

The fabric should last a lifetime. It’s the velcro connection points I feel will fail over time. The new model Ram covers have multiple clip points that will forsure keep things tight and in place. The older models 08 and older use just a single holding point and that done by a 1/2″ x 3″ strip of velcro on the back side.

And the velcro isnt industrial strength. Overall the look is great, fit is somewhat perfect. Again not as perfect as newer models. I’ll update this review down the road after I’ve given time to use them.

Overall, the product looks pretty good. Online was a little hard to work with. I ordered 2012 Dodge Ram seat covers and they insured that they were compatible with the vehicle, but the bucket seats didn’t account for a back flap on front bucket seats.

I made them work, but wish they were a perfect fit. They look really nice though, and my son is very happy with his Christmas present.

Extremely easy to install. It took longer to remove the old seat covers than it did to install the new ones. Great fit and on the seats and the center console. I was worried that the center console covering would not fit, because the old one didn’t.

The center console cover fits and looks wonderful. I waited to see how well the front seat covers would look and fit before ordering the rear seat covers. Just ordered the rear covers. Well worth the price.

The covers came very well packaged and damage free, so that was a good start. Unlike my usual habit I actually read the instructions and they were so generic as to be of very little value. That didn’t stop me though.

I fought with the covers until I had them installed properly and they look great. I love the color contrast which mirrors my truck exterior. Yes, it was worth the effort, all 3 hours!!.
