I read a lot of reviews for hammocks before purchasing this hammock. I ended up buying the smaller one for my 2006 Honda Accord and the truck sized for our 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. They both fit great! The material is very sturdy and the installation is extremely simple.

I suspect we will get a long life out of these hammocks! I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and although I have only been using my hammocks for a little more than a month I do recommend them! FYI, I accidentally ordered extra seatbelts with my hammocks but realized upon receipt that a seatbelt is included with each hammock! Extremely simple return with no questions asked! I was actually refunded as soon as I notified Meadowlark via email that I had returned the item with the USPS.

Do not wait if you are thinking about purchasing one of these hammocks! I don’t think you will regret it! I know I don’t!! The price and quality are fantastic!! I tried uploading photos without success.

This product was the answer to my dreams! I just bought a new car and my greatest anxiety was how to keep the car clean and safe for my medium sized furbabies. They come with me everywhere and my other car did not have the side protection.

My youngest border collie who turned three today gets motion sickness. Even with the prescription and waiting six hours after eating she still sometimes has an upset. My other car ended up with vomit in the cupholder, door storage, side of seat and floor.

It was easily cleaned up and did not cause any damage. I also put down towels and potty pads. I’m very excited that they zip down so so easy for your puppers to get in the vehicle and out but keeps them very safe.

You also get seatbelt anchors. I already use them but it’s nice to have extra. Anyway I could not be happier! Oh did I mention how easy it was to install? Super easy! 🙂 It also comes with headrest covers.

My toy dog loves to ride in the car and I had been tethering his harness to the side overhead hand hold so that he could look out the window and front of the car while riding. My new SUV has seven airbags which automatically deploy during an accident—-the front passenger airbags if deployed would kill my small dog sitting in the passenger seat on his bed.

I found these dog seat covers on amazon for the backseat of a car or SUV and decided to try them since they are padded and protect the animal from being thrown through the windshield or being crushed by an airbag.

It took only minutes to attach the back padded part to the back seat by putting the straps around the headrests of the backseat and the front straps on the front seats’ headrests There are two straps each inside a plastic tube that you push down between the top and bottom portions of the car seat to anchor the seat cover in place on the seat and the bottom of the seat cover is slip resistant.

I didn’t need to shorten the width of the cover since it fit my SUV’s backseat nicely. Small straps are included to attach the zippered ends of the seat covers to the back hand holds and you can open and close the ends of the covers, or in the case of my small dog I merely lift him over the side of the cover without unzipping it.

In the middle of the seat cover there is a hook and loop fastener which allows you to separate the dog in his seat cover from a back seat passenger. I opened the hook and loop in the center of the seat cover enough to allow me to connect the dog’s harness to the car’s seat belt using a short seat belt included for this purpose.

I then put two of his padded dog beds inside the backseat cover and he is high enough in the seat to see out the window without being in a position to have a side airbag crush him if deployed in an accident.

Does he prefer these seat covers to sitting beside me in the front passenger seat tethered to the hand hold?. no, but he will get used to it and he is so much safer since I let him ride in the car whenever possible.

There are two head rest covers you can use for the front or back seat’s headrests, but it isn’t necessary for my small dog since he doesn’t get high enough to reach the headrests. It would be nice if the entire seat cover was padded and not just nylon running along the back of the front seat.

The zippers on each end of the seat cover are heavy duty and both work perfectly so that you can let the animal in or out of the car on either side. I definitely recommend use of these seat covers to protect animals while riding in a car or SUV–I feel these seat covers are a good investment in protecting my dog while riding in the car.

A safe alternative for protecting a dog in a car would be transporting the animal in a hard-shell carrying kennel secured to the car’s seat belt but some people are afraid the animal would be trapped in case of fire if the animal was locked into a carrying kennel.

Cats of course should be in carrying kennels and if there is a side airbag, the kennel should be hard-shell.

I have a Sienna mini van and bought these covers for the back captain’s chairs with the armrests up and they fit perfectly. Since they are such a nice fit I did not feel the need to fasten them under the seat, which allows me to remove them when I want to.

I was worried the material would be too slippery but it is not a smooth finish there is some texture to it. I foster a lot of dogs and the fact they cover the whole seat front, back and fit so well it means less cleaning dog hair off everything.

Has far as being waterproof, I have no doubt they can handle any wet dog.

This works pretty well. If you’re using it in a front seat. I have bucket seats in the 2nd row of my Tahoe, and there is no space below the seat between the seat and the floor, so the strap that is suppposed to go underneath the front and back of the seat to help it stay put, is just dangling.

Also, my tahoe has arm rests and the arm rests have to be up, it can’t go around them. Which is okay, but my dog likes it there to prevent him from falling into the isle lol. It gives him a more secure feeling I think and now he gets a little nervous bc it’s not there.

It was easy to put on the seat.

I hesitated to buy this because I did not really want a cover that attached to the back of my front seats because I thought my dog would have a hard time getting in and out, but I decided that I could just leave it hanging down.

It was easy to install and seems to be of good quality. My 80 lb golden retriever has not scratched a hole in it, which is a good thing. My biggest surprise is that I actually like the fact that I can attach it to the back of my front seats.

It acts as a sling to keep her from falling on the floor if I have to stop quickly and she seems to feel safe as well.

Mostly it does the job. It seems durable and really keeps the dog hair off the seats. It is two layers of material but the seems create tiny holes. These holes allow fluids to pass through. So it’s not totally waterproof, but mostly water proof.

It fit well in a 2009 Toyota Camry. The clips are very substantial and easy to use.

70lb golden retriever. His nails can’t pgo thru the material. Saves my leather seats. Just wish my rear seat head rests extended up so I could fasten it better. But I just left it folded like a thick blanket and secured it using the anchors.

So far, this is a great product and is doing exactly as I had hoped. The seat cover came with easy to understand installation instructions. It fits my seats perfectly. We have only used it a couple of times so far, so I can not speak to the durability.

The only thing that is not great, is my handles on the ceiling of my SUV are set too far forward so it’s difficult to use the hammock feature. I can zip up the end, but can not secure the strap through the handle while my dog is in it.

This isn’t a huge deal right now, hopefully it will not be come an issue. Again, it’s how my SUV is designed and not a fault of the product.

My car has hook for child seat belts but not rear seat headrest. Did about everything to figure out how to hook and keep back of rear seat covered. Should be really waterproof with the very heavy duty material where dog (s) would sit.

Had to loosen straps to maximum to cover back of front seat and not keep my 105# dog from being suspended in a “hammock”. Smaller car it might be fine. Not a full size Buick Lucerne. Wish it was little bigger front to back and not so slippery on leather.

I was initially happy with this product but after a couple of months of use, the zipper fell off! It apparently is not sewn onto the seat cover very well. I’ve used a variety of pet seat covers over the years and I really kind of liked this one.

Now I’m trying to figure out if I should take it to someone to have the zipper sewn back on, this time with triple stitching, or toss it and buy a different product. and hope for the best. The hammock itself is fine, just no zipper now.

Using in back of Chevy Silverado 1500. Cover hangs over seat to the floor and doesn’t ride up like last cover I purchased. I wish it was a tiny bit wider but it does cover the entire seat. The cover is not super thick but well worth the $20.

00. My only complaint is the straps that go around the headrest are too long and I can’t adjust it as much as I would like. I would buy again.

We take our puppy (9 mos) everywhere: camping, hiking, swimming. We needed a waterproof seat cover for my sedan, but didn’t want to spend a lot of money (Most outdoor stores have them for $50+). The seat cover has two adjustable straps to hook over the head rests and Velcro openings where the cover sits over the seat belt buckle.

The material feels durable and withstood my dog scratching at it, drooling on it, and laying on it while still wet from swimming. A review that I read before I purchased this item shared that the adjustable straps do loosen with larger dogs.

Don’t let the price fool you- this seat cover does exactly what I wanted it to. I received the premier pet car bench seat cover to try it sampling. I was really excited to try it because we have two big dogs and live out in the country and anytime we need to bring them with in our truck it’s a disaster.

I am using this in the back seat of my Subaru Legacy car and it fits perfectly. We have a 50lb dog and this works great for her. It keeps her from being straight on the seat of my new car and scratching the seats as well as getting hair all over the car.

We were easily able to put the top two straps around the head rests on the back seats to keep the back of the seat cover upright over the back of the bench seat. The rest of the cover is big enough to cover the back seat perfectly.

It’s a great product, and we use it so often! The only issue I’ve has is the velcro at the seatbelt openings starts to fail. Once it fails, it continues to degrade until ripping seams beyond the opening, making the product much less protective.

I think a button or snap added to fortify the velcro opening would improve life; and, I may just add that! We have a labrador retriever–with shedding, mud, water, the seats are so well protected. It’s easy to remove/preplace for human guests in the backseat, AND it provides an added layer of security because we can store items behind front seats, below the cover & out of view.

We compliment this product with the door protectors. All in all, we’ve had the protectors in 3 very different sized vehicles & it was adaptable enough to suit them all. We’re lifelong pup-patrons!.

I love this cover! It’s the only one I’ve found that has slots for the seat belts to stick through. Since I use the seat belts to attach car harnesses to, this is essential. I actually bought this one for a friend.

I have one in my own car that I bought 2 years ago. It’s holding up pretty well — the rubberized fabric between the front seats is starting to wear, but I would definitely by another cover if that becomes an issue.

The dogs love this cover, too! It makes them feel safer, since there’s no possibility they’ll end up in the leg wells.

Easy to install and adjust. Fits nicely between the front and back seat creating a comfortable floating hammock/bed. I put the wool filled duvet bed on top and the combination makes a cozy spot for the dog to rest and sleep.

Perfectly fit back seat of Toyota 4 Runner. Super easy install and removal. The non-slip element that tucks into crack of top vs bottom seat is great at keeping in place. Kids have no trouble still accessing seat belts independently.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product for the price. Shopping for seat covers for the dogs, you don’t find many so reasonably priced, so i was skeptical. This cover is a very thick, durable material.

Very sturdy and has no problem standing up to our 50lb Pitty & 25lb ShihTzu together. This thing was a god send since the day after we put it in the car. It is COVERED in hair/mud/dirt that my cloth seats of my lease are now protected by.

The elastic around the bottom corners holds it on the bench seat well. Even with the little dog jumping in the car from the floor up. Only downsides so far would be that it is a little slippery for the dogs, but I don’t see how you can avoid that for this type of product, and the top corners/sides are not secured to the seat at all so they flap around.

I plan to sew some elastic straps up there.

I work with animals and drive a lot of animals around and these car seats are amazing. They’re so easy to put on the seats, easy to clean. They keep my seats clear of per hair (even for dogs that shed ALOT) the seat covers are a little bit slippery but they’re still comfortable enough that my fur babies are safe and happy.

Super easy to install in my car. I have a large older dog who shreds like crazy. My car was designated the dog car because its older. But with these in my new car I dont feel bad about giving him a ride in it.

They have held up well. I take them down when not using. I would recommend for anyone who wants to protect their car seats from dog grime.

I have to say that I can see what they were trying for and it was a great idea but it simply didn’t work for me at all. There is a zipped in area with a cushion that forms the base of the bed. The zipper blew out and then I spent over an hour trying to get the cushion back in and reset it.

I finally succeeded slowly and deliberately. Then the zipper blew out again and the cushion shot out. I’m really bummed about this because to me, this is a great idea.

This seat fits perfectly onto the back seat of our new Toyota Corolla. The straps and seat anchors have kept it in place. We have previously used the hammock-style seat, and our dog always burrowed underneath which allowed her to get hair and dirt and scratches on the seat.

She has not tried to get under this car seat. She has a bed with bolsters, and I think she feels more like she is in her bed when we go for rides. Highly recommend.

I have a 20196 Jeep Cherokee and the seat is tough to fit. This cover worked very well and my Corgi’s toe nails did not pierce the cover when I took her to the vet. All in all, I am very pleased!

Bought this for my 70lb dog back in 2017. He stress peed all over the thing on his first car ride. The fabric side soaked up everything so he wasn’t in a puddle and the vinyl underside was truly waterproof, not a drop on my seats! It’s been used constantly since I bought it, regularly run through the wash.

The vinyl started to crack & peel in 2019, but I live in TX & don’t have tinted windows. So things don’t tend to last long staying in my car. It still keeps the fur and dog stank off my seats as of 2021.

I’m buying a new one as I’m getting a second dog and may need that waterproof element back again. Good price for a full 3 years of true waterproofing and what I’m pretty sure will be a life long fur protection cover.

(I’m not tossing my current one, it still works great!).

I had a different product for several years, but understandably, extreme temperature variations as well as sunlight, broke down the protective backing over time, thus a replacement was needed. I was never happy that my floor wasn’t covered with this previous product.

We were headed on a long trip to New England and desperately needed as much good coverage as possible for my brand new crossover as I have a sometimes car sick pooch. Research brought me to this product, one of only a few water “proof” full area coverage seat covers/car protector, and certainly no other in it’s class at this price point.

It certainly gave my mid-size crossover seats/floor total coverage, stayed put w it’s anchor/installation directions followed and tightened. It kept my smaller dogs (14 lb jack, 6lb dox) from flying off the seat and onto the floor or if they did hit into the back of the front seats, it was much softer in a hard stop or quick direction change.

It certainly detours any dog from jumping up front, mine had no issue as they know the word “no,” so point being, don’t expect it to stop your dog from this behavior unless you are going to work on “no” with your pet.

My tiny dog could easier get to the floor undetected, but with some creative storing of iteams on the floor under the cover, blocked her from doing this as well. The 2 storage pockets came in very handy for their leashes, water bottle, toys and collapsable bowl to be easily located.

Directed at those that question the durability/thickness of the material, I find it to be more than an adequate, pliable, waterproof, canvas material, BUT a fierce digger/chewer could probably get thru it and thus should probably be in a kennel and not on your seats at all to begin with?!?! The only thing I’d recommend to purchasers is to put a folded blanket on it for your dogs as you would think it would slide MORE, but it actually helps your dog from sliding around as the cover is slick by itself and thus your dog has footing issues, but my blanket stays put?!?! I have been using this product now for 6 mths, many dog trips, plus have had a relatives border collie and another relatives recent southern state border/retriever/lab type size 11 mth old mix, and has worked perfect with all.

It still looks (and smells) brand new with dogs jumping in and out and a few upset stomach clean ups that were easy to handle and cleaned brand new with some soap and water. Nothing is a 100%, as my little 6 lb.

We got this cover after a recommendation from a friend. It worked well for a bit, mostly in my wife’s Jeep Grand Cherokee, because the straps could anchor under the seat to keep the bottom from sliding.

However, they would not anchor well in my Ford Fusion, so it would slide around a little, and would allow my dog’s feet to go to an unsupported area not on the seat. I believe the sliding lead to more weight on the front straps that connect to the front seats, and the resulting rip in the straps.

Now, it has slowly ripped beyond use, so we have to find something different. We also have a Newfoundland puppy, but she was only around 55-60 lbs at the time it ripped. It may be a factor, but I think the design lead to it too.

Probably wouldnt have an issue with a small dog. Either way, it isn’t designed for use in cars (or in mine anyways), so I would just be cautious when buying.

I was surprised by the thickness and durability of product. Fit in my VW backseat perfectly and my 50lb puppy loved it too. He was able to lay across seat and still be buckled in. Highly recommend this seat cover.

This product is very well thought out. We bought it for a road trip and it did not disappoint. It has anchors and a rubber bottom that help keep it in place, the mesh screen is very high quality and allows for the A/C to reach the back seat.

There are even velcro openings where the child seat attachments are if you use a seatbelt for your dog (as you should). The added pockets were super convenient for storing our dog’s leash for easy access.

We didn’t use the side straps that hook on to the hangers above each passenger door, we didn’t want to risk them snapping. However, we still zipped them up and they provided enough protection. Unzipped you can unfold it to become a safe place for your pup to step on as they enter and exit the car.

We just got back and took off the cover and the seats are in great condition! We have yet to wash it, but I have no doubt that it will hold up.

The cover fits well and has plenty of features to make it a great cover. You can use it as a full canopy, cover only the back seats only with the front down, use the zipper to lower half of it for passengers in the back riding with your dog, etc.

Good quality, good fit, good features. I wish it came with a carry bag and your doors won’t be fully protected if your dog decides to be aggressive in getting to the windows. I purchased door protectors to get the full protection I need for my Tesla.

I recommend this product.
