These are great! Firstly I ordered two and apparently they come two to a pack so I’ve got four now? They’re definitely affordable as well which is a perk My beagles are bad about stepping on the window buttons and rolling them down or locking us out ect if we leave the car on we get out of it (we like to leave it on so they’ll have ac).

The big dogs never do this, but the beagles are terrible about it. They’ve even jumped out the car! We travel with them a lot so it’s important that they don’t do that. These have solved the problem.

We usually have the seats down to give the dogs more room, but when we have to use these, we will keep one of the back seats up and attach whichever beagle we’ve got with us to it when we leave the car.

We can’t use it in the front because they can still reach the buttons, but that’s okay. It’s worth the compromise. We were so concerned about this coming summer. Not anymore! We’ve used them on two or three excursions so far and loved the product.

The material is not as durable as they want you to think. After using this the first time in my SUV my 10-month old German Shepherd easily chewed through most of the “leash” part. Fortunately you get 2 so there is a backup.

I would still recommend it because it does keep her from getting into the front seat area & keeps her from jumping out a window that was rolled down a little too far. Also fortunately, the price is affordable so I can always buy another set; but they might want to increase the price to improve the quality & durability of the product.

I would pay more for something that was going to last longer than 1 day.

I bought three restraints for my dog in my car — This bungee style, a leash that locks into the seatbelt slot, and one that is a chew-proof cable leash that can connect to a car seat mount. One of these is better than the other two put together.

The bungee makes it much more comfortable for your pup during mild sudden stops. In addition, your dog can pull against the bungee as he sits/stands, so he exercises a little while riding. Also, it is perfect for taking out of the car at a dog-friendly/patio restaurant and quickly snapping around anything like a table leg or small tree.

It is much easier to “tie off” than a normal leash.

I cannot believe they sell the seatbelts that buckle when there’s this genius invention! Look no further – absolutely secure strap with a handy large carribeaner clip. Noel is 53 lbs and kept unclipping herself.

I am excited to throw those right in the garbage. This should go in the gift basket of essentials for new dog owners (along with the doo loop, Mighty Paws double handle leash, and Ruffwear harness).

I loved this seatbelt based on the fact that it clips under the seat so they can’t release it. Sadly it was chewed almost immediately. If you have a leash chewer, I would recommend Kurgo’s chew-proof version of this.

I have that one now and have not had any issues.

This is perfect for my puppy in the backseat of the car. I can adjust the length just enough to allow him to move around but not climb all over the place. I also have back seat cover/hammock thing and with this restraint, it is the perfect combo! Super easy to attach to the seatbelt anchor, as well.

You strap yourself in. You strap your kids and other loved ones. so why not your dogs? We brought an Ezydog harness which came with a seat belt attachment from Pets At Home and we kept forgetting to use the seat belt attachment as it was always either in the wife’s car or hanging up where the harness normally lives.

Love this – seems well-made and this style is much better than the ones that loop round the seatbelt itself. It fits my Toyota hatch. The only thing is even the shortest length is still quite long and my puppy managed to to get herself tangled in it, so would be better if it was possible to make it shorter.

This is a very well built and well designed car restraint. It provides enough movement but will prevent them from falling off the seat, jumping out the window, or bothering the driver. One of its benefits is that it works with the seatbelt so when you brake, it’ll lock up and keep your dog from flying forward.

If you want to give your dog more slack, you can use seatbelt locking clips. It’s like a metal buckle that you place at the point where the seatbelt retracts and it blocks it from retracting past the point you choose.

Look up diono locking clips. My dogs use the Ezydog drive car safety harness but I have this loop for when I’m driving a friend’s dog.

I purchased this after having a leash with built-in seatbelt clasp that failed. My dog is 50lbs & 24” tall, pretty strong especially when she is in the car & very anxious. Works perfectly to anchor the dog’s harness in the middle of the backseat (I clip to the front of her harness). She can sit upright & see out the front or the side windows, or can lay down. Make sure to read the size guide & actually measure your dog so you get the right one, there is not much room for error. 10/10 would recommend for dogs that need to be anchored down in the car or need car training.

I had one of the ones that buckles into the seat belt. My pup figured out how to unbuckle himself on our first ride within 5 minutes, Australian Shepherd IQ. This one screws in place and I know he isn’t going anywhere.

It keeps him in the backseat which reduces distractions. I can have the window down for him and know he isn’t going to get any crazy ideas and jump out because he literally cannot!!.

The seat-belt arrived in the mail today and we’ve already tried it out. The construction looks fine, and I feel safer getting my dog out of the vehicle knowing he is tied in with a strong seatbelt. Akyra is a therapy dog in training (not a service dog) so when I get him out of the car I need time to put on his leash, vest and some days also fix his boots.

The belt is good quality. But when I first purchased this product, the part that goes into the buckle, somehow became bent whilst my dog was wearing it in our car, it also clicked out of the buckle and set him loose in the car.

I spoke to PetCircle about this and they sent a new one. I recently used the new one, and the carabiner is unreliable, it can flick out of place and remain open. Basically the metal ware is not of good quality, and they are arguably the most important part of the seat belt.

I’ve had 2 seat belts from this brand and both have been faulty in some way. I will not be using this product in my car. Luckily I have a different one, one that you tread the seatbelt through a loop, from a different brand, that is far more reliable.

If you are after a car restraint do not buy this one in particular, its not reliable and certainly not worth risking my pets life.

I adopted a rescue that required a 5 hour round trip car ride, I tied the lease on the handgrip, he nested, he did fine. Once we got home and started taking trips to the vet and obedience training, suddenly now the car was the enemy.

He was combative, vocal, a huge distraction, hyper, he would practically hang himself trying to escape. By the time we would arrive at our destination, he was a tangled, wound up mess. My neighbor loaned me this tether (but it did not have the swivel) to try.

It really made the process simpler. When I went on line to purchase and saw it had a version with a swivel I was so excited. I have only used it twice, but it has made ALL the difference. The routine is simpler, and I feel more comfortable for the pup as well.

He has accepted it easily. I no longer have a whining, thrusting around doggo in the back seat. He easily snaps in, lays on the towel and we are off.

I started using it recently after receiving it. I bought two for our two dogs for when we take our trip in a month and it works wonderfully. As a result I just ordered the back seat hammock in order to allow for mine and the wifes fur babies to have the best comfort during our trip while also protecting the seats of our new vehicle.

Seat belt is used for short trips at slower speeds. Quickly secure my dog in the vehicle to keep the beagle safe with room to lie down. Good build and sturdy.

This seems like a good idea but this is not for a large dog!! When I opened the car door my dog jumped out and the hook broke!! My dog escaped into a campground full of strangers. I was so upset. Thank goodness for a Good Samaritan that helped me.

My small dog likes to move all over the car, which gets distracting and my kids don’t enjoy being jumped on. This keeps the dog in one seat. The length is adjustable so I made it longer so that she can still see out the window.

Works great! We spend a lot of of money on a car seat that she hated and tried to jump out of. We also bought a large soft crate that she chewed her way out of it. We now put a pad on the car seat and buckle her in.

When I purchased the product, I was a little skeptical of the quality because of the low price. When the packages arrived, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased to see just how well made and durable they were.

Nothing fancy, just an adjustable safety belt to use as my puppy grows. Great product for the price and I would definitely recommend it.

We got these for our two puppies and there work perfectly with their harnesses. So easy to clip in! Keeps the pups in the back seat, safe and stops them from moving around while we drive. I would highly recommend these for any dog owner.

I bought this item to restrain my two dogs while travelling in the car. They work , well made and the price was right. My only concern is in the picture the collar clasp appears to be around the same size as the seat belt clasp, but is actually a lot smaller, however the clasp do fit and work perfectly fine.

These dog seat belts are o but are not very strong. There to thin and my cockerpoo chewed through it in minutes. They would be ok if you had a dog that didnt chew but nearly all dogs chew when bored sat in a car.

This turned out to be a great investment. We initially bought a carseat for the dog and she refused to sit in it. She immediately adapted to this and now has no problem sitting by herself in the back seat, where she is free to sit up and look out the window or lay down and rest.

So glad we bought it!.

I used this for my 30 pound dog in the back seat. Tuesday night the belt let go and he jumped out the window. Vanished into the state park and there have been no sightings since. I would never rely on a single clip restraint again.

There have to be models out there with a secondary clip and if there is-spend the e tea money and prevent the chance of my heartbreak.

Thought we loved this seat belt restraint until our 6 month old puppy chewed it into within 20 minutes of hooking it to him. We love the concept of a restraint that hooks to the seat belt buckle but it needs to be made of something dogs can’t chew up.

Our dog was just lying quietly in the back seat while we were driving and had not been left unattended. Has anyone else had this problem? Planning to buy another restraint but plan to saturated it with “bitters” before hooking our dog to it.

If he still chews it, we will have to find something different.

I had already been meaning to get a restraint for my dog, but after a friend was in a car accident and her dog jumped out the window and was missing for 5 days, I knew I needed to get a seatbelt for my dog.

This is great but I do wish it would extend just a couple inches longer. I drive a 2009 RAV4, when I have it hooked up to either of the side seatbelts, she can’t quite reach the other window (she likes to switch sides).

Then she ends up getting tangled trying to get back and she can no longer reach the original window she could reach. So then the rest of the car ride she’s stuck in the middle and sad.

I got the 2 pack dog harness seat belts. I was able to use them for a vet trip with our two cocker spaniels. They’re absolute maniacs in the car, usually, so I was really excited to give these a try.

All in all, they worked well. The dogs stayed out of the front seat, and they seemed content. My only complaint is that one of them kept loosening during the trip. That could’ve been user error, but I’m not so sure.

Even with that slight hiccup, I’d still get these again, for sure!.

I bought this for my dog so he can be safe while riding in the car with me. It has a nice length where he isn’t too restricted but not too loose where he would be all over. It gives him enough room to move a bit without worrying while I am driving.

The strap and fasteners are fine but the buckle slides so it lengthens from whatever length it is set to. I tried stitching it at the position I wanted it but that wasn’t enough so I ducktaped it at the correct position and now the buckle doesn’t slide and the length remains constant.

Very convenient for my dog! Excited knowing my dog is safe while driving. Excellent product.

It’s a must have for the safety of your precious cargo! Super handy and easy to use. I have tried heavier, bulky ones that cost a lot more money and I don’t care for them. These ones are the way to go! I doubt you will be disappointed.

I have heard of so many dogs running away in the midst of a car accident. If your dog already wears a harness, there is no need to buy an expensive seat belt. This belt simply clips into the seat belt and onto your dog’s harness.

My dog, Ellie, definitely feels much more secure in her seat once she is attached to her seat belt. (She is a nervous rider. ) And in the event of an accident, I won’t have to suffer the heartbreak of losing her.

I used these to strap my Poms in on my golf cart. It works great! We live on a farm and now we can ride around and they are very secure. I attach the clip from the seat belt tether to their harness and they are not going anywhere!.

My main concern with buying the pet seat belts was to keep my dogs from hitting the front seat if an emergency stop. One side benefit was that it keeps my puppy from jumping all over the back seat and trying to get in the front seat.

Was excitatory receive the pet car seat belt for my Pomeranian dog. But the bracket does not work on my seatbelt. It will not lock in. It also does not fit my husbands truck.

I like this harness and seat belt because it is very strong and sturdy. I purchased a size large for my 9-month-old Goldendoodle. He currently weighs 55 lbs. The harness fits snug, but comfortable after I adjusted the straps.

I think he should still be able to fit it once he is full grown because I can then let out the side straps. This is my 2nd purchase of this particuliar brand as he outgrew the first one. His old harness is still wearable, but too small for him now.

I recommend this harness because of its durability and comfort.

I really like this harness. It doesn’t seem to bother our vizsla at all. No rubbing or riding up in the wrong places, its adjustable, and he looks pretty cool in it. The seat belt though, does not work as it should.

He was able to unlatch himself easily while attempting a forceful jump in the backseat, and thankfully we were parked. I bought a two pack of Furhaven belts as a back-up and when comparing the one he easily broke free of, realized the metal clip is half the thickness of the Furhaven belts.

The belt that came with the harness imo gives a false sense of security and should be fixed or discontinued. He would have went flying if we had been in an accident.

I got this because my pup likes to stick her head out the window while I drive and I was concerned she would jump out of it while driving. When I first received it, I was disappointed because it looks really short and that there was no way my small-ish cocker spaniel would be able to stick her head out as she likes.

I gave it a try anyways and it’s perfect! I even shortened it a bit. She can still move around freely in her seat, but this keeps her from hopping out the window and hopefully a little safe in case of a car accident.
