20 Best Seasoning For Tuna Salad (2023 Updated)

I bought this because I needed it for the viral tiktok bread recipe. (Fabulous, by the way) While I have had general knowledge of this product for as long as I can remember, I have never purchased or consumed it.

It was great in the bread, and I anticipate using it in other ways in the future. Side note: My local Walmart didn’t carry it, so I had to order it.

I use this on avocados and on “garlic” bread. Forget the garlic, add this to buttered French bread and heat in the oven. It is my family’s favorite “garlic” bread. 🙂 Unfortunately – it seems to be sold out everywhere.

If you’ve discontinued it, please bring it back. Thank you.

This is a must have in my house. It’s a staple seasoning for me. I use it in green salads, pasta salad, macaroni salad, egg salad, etc. It has a blend of spices along with sesame seeds allergy ~~ contains sesame seeds I hope this NEVER goes off market because I’d cry lol definitely recommended!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

It’s been five years since I made my lump meat crab cake recipe which uses Old Bay Seasoning. I made a special trip to the grocery store after I realized it would take too much time to make my own and probably not be as good (found this website when I was looking up ingredients).

I bought the plastic container for the first time. I see all the negative comments on plastic, blah blah blah. it seems to me the losers virtue signaling on how they’re such good stewards of the environment who post over and over again to hurt a product/company lack insight.

It’s so easy to recycle plastic, how about you try that? It’s a REUSABLE resource. Regarding the reviews stating there’s too much plastic in the ocean. why would your container end up there? That’s probably where your fear mask is that you didn’t recycle! While I liked the old tin, my experience with the plastic container is the lid snaps on EASILY; there’s no risk to dumping the product out accidentally.

A good company changes practices to help their help the bottom line while keeping their product high quality. BRAVO to McCormick for their long enduring fantastic irreplaceable Old Bay Seasoning which others can only try to reproduce.

I don’t care what you put it in. metal, glass, plastic. I will continue to buy it. Thanks McCormick!.

McCormick, what were you thinking? Plastic containers? I bought the 6 ounce ‘can’ and the lid won’t seal correctly. It spills, too. I loathe your new plastic container. I was stationed with the US Army in Maryland-depending on when I alternately lived in Hagerstown, Aberdeen and Laurel.

My favorite haunt for crabs was Bottom of the Bay in Laurel. That’s where I learned to love Old Bay and cook fresh blue crab. I would buy several tins, back when it was in metal cans of Old Bay, because fans of the mix stationed elsewhere in the world would beg me to ‘bring some Old Bay’ when you get here’.

But now I’m upset that you’ve changed the container to plastic. The world needs more Old Bay. The planet does NOT need yet another plastic container. They aren’t recycleable, McCormick!! Come ON! Bring back the metal can!.

The plastic container lids are not able to snap shut once opened. I never open the non-sprinkle side and it came open on its own. Now it will NOT close, so when I shake the spice onto food, I have to keep my thumb on the other lid to prevent it from pouring out onto the food ! Not to mention, it won’t close so anything can get into it including moisture.

The product design team just doesn’t need to be told, they need to fix it ASAP. How hard can it be to create a plastic snap closure that works? This isn’t the first spice to go “plastic”! Besides that, yes Old Bay on everything from potatoes to fried chicken, potato chips, pasta, anything! I’m rating the spice as a 5, the plastic lid fiasco a 1.

This product is a Zesty blend of herbs and spice and makes seasoning meals at the stove go quickly compared to pulling out individual selections on my own. Happy that it is surprisingly robust without MSG.

The texture is a combination of flakes and powder, the latter of which sinks to the bottom. I emptied it out into a glass jar instead for storageand shake it well before use then spoon it out as needed.

Three heaping tablespoons in a four-serving stew is mostly enough, although I still ad salted broth and garlic. No salt needed when I use it on buttered/steamed vegetables. Bought two boxes and it’s on my list to buy more.

This Salt-Free Blend is WONDERFUL!! It works on veggies and fish, beef and chicken, stews, soups, roasts, casseroles and gumbo! I’m telling you it is Spectacular! Trying to tell all the ways these spices can be use would be like Bubba telling how many ways shrimp can be fixed! I like salt but I like to control how much and when it is added.

Let’s face it some very good food is wasted because the salt was added at the wrong time. Also, it is good to control what kind of salt. Some folks are sensitive to Iodine and regular table salt can be deadly for them.

Even if salt if not a big concern this Spice Blend is the BEST!! If you like flavor, zest, pazzaz! Then this is for you. Great Flavor but not HOT. I like hot but HOT can hide flavor. This is just the thing to make the taste buds sing! I wish I had an Aroma App to share this exquisite composite of flavors with you. I have never been to the Spice Markets of Morocco but I imagine they smell a lot like Spike Magic Spice Blend!.

I made a cheesy shrimp alfredo last night with the Chop chop and it tasted great! Saved so much time preparing the meal using the chop chop especially after working all day and the long commute home.

I will definitely be a regular on Cajun Crate. Can’t wait to try the Cajun garlic sauce next!!.

Zydeco Chop Chop is my go-to seasoning! I even use it in my ramen noodles! It’s great for making just about everything! I use it in spaghetti, meatloaf, pot roast, chili, green beans and ham, soups, etc.

I believe I have already left a review for this. But to add to that I thought I would rehydrate this an add it to my hamburger mix for hamburgers. Between the Camp Dog cajun seasoning and this Zydeco Chop Chop they turned out very tasty.

The uses for this Chop Chop are endless. My next test will be incorporating it into my homemade sausage links for a little extra zip.

I trust and love Braggs. I start my day with Braggs ACV water. So when I stumbled across this, I thought it might be a quick and easy boost to my daily bone broth. Rosemary is one of my top 3 favorite herbs, and apparently it’s Braggs #1 because it basically looks and tastes like you sprinkled rosemary on your food.

Every now and again you get a carrot fleck or something else lol. Personally, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this again. I will probably use it up and then make my own little ‘bone broth’ blend to reuse the bottle.

For me it’s high quality, trusted brand, poor execution.

This is probably one of the best seasonings I have ever tasted, it’s very flavorful. It pairs amazingly with Goya’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a salad (which is one of the best olive oils, in my opinion).

I also use it to flavor and marinate my chicken and IT TASTES SO GOOD!!! I always try to keep it in my pantry. Super cheap. A.

I love Goya!!! And this!! I love using this to season all my veggies. They have solitaire packs in box with the exact amount you need. It makes my veggies taste amazing. Certainly recommend and will keep purchasing.

I absolutely love all the goya brand products especially on the seasonings and flavorings they make. Everything they make is very well priced, super duper affordable and decent quality. It’s not all this very healthy because some of the ingredients and seasonings will have listed msg’s this specific product does have MSG’S in it so I try to use it rarely but it does add good flavor to foods.

I just wish they would take the bad stuff out.

Talk about inflation. This was $7 last time I bought it. Same size. Triple in price almost. Waltons must not have enough zeros behind there numbers.

I love the Salad Supreme mixture! One of my staples but, I can’t seem to find it in the stores anymore. Has it been discontinued? That would be sad. I know several people who use it and think the same.

Can you get it direct from the manufacturer?.

Used it for the first time. Made Ham & Wild Rice soup for the first time with mushrooms & mixed veggies. I had already added fresh pepper but it needed something else. I reached for Herbs De Provence & it proved to be a winner! After adding it to the simmering soup I could smell the spices melding & it put a smile on my face.

I followed this month’s TasteBuds recipe for the Roasted Chicken with Fennel & Potatoes. I typically cook with more traditional Italian and Mexican flavors and LOTS of garlic, so this was a departure from my norm.

It was good. For me, it won’t be a “go to”, but it will break up the monotony of my standard onion and garlic dishes. I’m excited to try the seasoning with other dishes.

My family love this one. We especially love it with chicken salad and try to not use it much to save it for that but it is also good on other things. Coconut oil and this on chicken tenders in the air fryer for example.

What to add extra flavor and zing to your foods? Tony Cacheres can help you with that. This seasoning takes Creole spices and kicks it up a notch. In fact, you have to be careful not to use too much or you will have quite literally have 🔥🔥 on your tongue.

This combo is not overtly salty but just enough to make your meals more flavorful. I can’t wait to use it on popcorn. I gave 4 stars because you have to watch the amount you use until you get used to it.

I found mine at Walmart but it is available at most grocers for $2. 79. Recommended.

I had high hopes for this as I really like creole seasoning but I’ve avoided it due to the high sodium content of most brands. This seemed like a good thing to try. No. There’s very little flavor and it and has a very odd aftertaste, almost fishy tasting.

They substituted brown sugar instead of salt and the sugar adds nothing to it. It’s not particularly spicy and is just wrong on every level. I tried it on some baked chicken and almost gagged. Into the trash the full container went.

It’s a wonderful product. I’m from New Orleans where TC is used a lot. Now that I’m on a sodium restricted diet, I am grateful to have this great seasoning without the salt. Just wish your shipping prices were as good as your products.

And every time you have a sale, my order never qualifies. I have a business and have commercial pricing, can only think part of your price is a service charge or packaging fee. Other than the shipping costs, I am very pleased with the quality of service.

I recently had to eliminate salt from my diet. I found Mrs. Dash products, they have a great variety and the best of all is without salt. Making every meal I prepare a pleasant experience, without using salt.

The food has an exquisite flavor. I recommend it to season food. I love it and it was easy for me to learn how to substitute salt.

This is the best Italian seasoning I’ve ever found. I would never buy it at the advertised price, but that is no reason to downvote this incredible seasoning. Buy it locally, or find another source. Why would you turn others off to this incredible seasoning just because it’s overpriced here (which it is)?.

Compared to the other flavors that are offered, I tend to go with this mix. Price is reasonable, especially for the amount you get, and the flavor is definitely there. It’s worth it to spend the extra few cents/dollars in order to just get the name brand in this situation.

I have tried others but nothing compares flavor wise.

The Mccormick zesty lemon and pepper is one of my spouses favorite when seasoning chicken to be cooked on the grill. It is tasty, affordable and available at most stores. Mccormick makes lots of seasoning options for your taste buds to enjoy.

It’s a pretty good seasoning with just enough lemon flavor. I like to use on my chicken and fish. This can be applied before or after cooking to get the desired flavor. Only thing I don’t like is it don’t take long before it starts clumping together and then you have to shake really hard or use an Utensil to break it up.

Let me tell you!!!! This seasoning is perfect on my moms home made wings. She makes them once in a while for our entire extended family and everyone requests her “lemon pepper” which she uses this exact seasoning.

SAVORY SPICE Celery Salt is a must have in our kitchen. It is one of the most versatile spices that lends that extra special boost in flavor without being overpowering. I used it today in my chicken enchilada soup, and it will be essential in my Thanksgiving dressing and gravy.

I love all of the products from Savory Spice – always; but I bought the pouches and they are not good delivered in bags. Celery salt and seeds were ‘lost’ during shipping – out of pouches and in the shipping bag.

I don’t want to have to buy the bottles – have them and like fresh.

The best celery salt I have found. I use this on so many items. Great sprinkled on salads and adds that special something that people ask, why are your salads so tasty. Adds so much to many dishes.

Love this I have seen this product since I am born. The majority of the time when cooking use this. Gives food a nice color and taste. Can use minimal salt since this product already has salt. Always have this in my kitchen.

I am using this less now because I am cooking with seasoning that has less artificial ingredients.

I was planning on not liking this because we are avid Lawrys users! But I am in love with it!!!! It has the perfect flavor and I didn’t have to use as much as I would with Lawrys Seasoned Salt. The spice itself is more of a thicker content – not fine like a salt.

But it produces so much flavor and looks pretty in veggies! I don’t care for the cost but I guess we get what we pay for. I will buy this again and suggest to my friends!.

I am on a low sodium diet. This is my first time trying the product and love it. I use it on everything, salmon, stir fry, hamburgers. Next time I would try the salt free version.

I love [brand:mrs-dash] salt free seasoning blends. There is a large variety to choose from. I highly recommend. It has a nice bold spicy flavor without salt. I substitute it for chili powder in my taco seasoning recipe.

I also use it in my Bloody Mary recipe instead of celery salt. [brand:mrs-dash] is perfect for people on low-sodium diets like myself. #happyhour #influenstereats.

I haven’t bought this at Walmart yet but will, if the price is right. I have bought the pictured product before at the market and like it a lot because, as you can see from the pkg, it is salt free! That is the point of Mrs.

Dash seasonings. This only has 4 ingreds: sesame and poppy seeds, dried onion and garlic which add flavor and a little crunch. No salt. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the price, which was always a bit high for the amount (and has gone up lately like everything else).

I found this to be just as good as everything bagel seasoning. I do not miss the salt. Thank goodness for this site. It helps me stick to my very limited low sodium, potassium and phosphorus diet. I like it includes nutritional info and ingredients.

Absolutely love this product. I use it on almost everything, adding extra on my “everything” bagels, avocados, and especially white rice. The garlic it’s especially tasty and I love the flavor it gives everything.

I just purchased this product and I’ve gone through almost half the bottle!.

I mixed this bottle with a bottle of garlic salt of the same size. Then added 1/2 cup of dried chives and mixed some more. Then poured back into the plastic jars. I use it all the time. Even in place of table salt and pepper.

As a Bridgeport native I can’t stay away from gifting this every year. Goes great with potatoes. I love seasoning my Spanish tortilla (frittata) potatoes with this seasoning. The crisp underbelly of the frittata brings out the seasoning’s sensational taste.

For the first time, I’m disappointed in a Spice House seasoning. I found this to be a very bland spice. With the combination of ingredients I had great expectations, I just don’t understand why it’s as bland as it is.

I even added more and it didn’t make a difference.
