The rub has good flavor. I tried it on some pork ribeyes i was grilling. I did half with The Gospel and half with the Honey Hog. No complaints from any of the family.

I bought a small bottle of this rub at my Hbg Pa Bass Pro two weeks ago. I tried in on a large pork butt and it turned out sooo good! This is the best rub I have ever used. I went back to Bass Pro Shops today and bought another large container of this rub.

I picked up some of this at the local Bass Pro store today, used it on a pork shoulder I got for smoking, best rub I’ve ever found for pork. Had 6 pounds of smoked pork shoulder for dinner tonight with my son and grand kids and no leftovers, almost had to fight over the last piece.

Are use this on most of my meats and I use it in my homemade barbecue sauce. Recently I started using it on baked sweet potatoes. Man it lights it up. It has a hint of sweetness and cinnamon. I bake my potato, Split it open, add butter and brown sugar and sprinkle the sweet and smoky rub on top and stir it up inside the hull.

It doesn’t maintain the temperature. We believed that it was new and needed to have a “break in period” but after 10 months it still will not grill at a constant temperature. Today we set it on riot, it only went to 626° and then it went all the down to 450° in a matter of a couple minutes, and never got above 480° for the duration of trying to cook.
This happens every time we use it, no matter what the heat setting is. We are VERY DISAPPOINTED in the performance of this grill and are hoping you will be able to help.

Everything I’ve purchased so far has been of great quality and to my expectations, I enjoy watching and learning from the Recteq staff on different ideas on how to cook things. I haven’t needed to reach out to customer service yet and hopefully I won’t have to anytime soon but I hear they have a great customer service department.

These are some of the best off-the-self seasons you will find anywhere. Not to fond of the Season All blend, but the Mountain Man Bourbon Rub, Maple Jalapeno, Mesquite Chipotle, Maple Bacon Bourbon Chipotle, Whiskey Steak, and Pecan Honey are my favorites.
