20 Best Seasoning For Asparagus On The Grill (2023 Updated)

I tried this on my veggies and it has a great taste. It’s not salty at all. Perfect flavors. My only con is the stems that are in the blend. I honestly almost choked on them. This is the reason I gave this product 2 stars.

My only disappointment was it is NOT 5. 4 oz. They have cut each bottle back to 4. 5oz. It is not a typo on their part as I keep an old bottle to remember to order since I cannot find in 4 different Wal Marts anymore.

I love Weber Seasoning! So flavorful and really spices up those plain, boring veggies. You can also use it to season chicken, shrimp, and other types of meat. Not too salty and great flavor!

I mean really! Adds the perfect flavour enhancement for roast beef and game but wait. the next day slice the meat thin and warm it up in broth for Beef Dip. It just keeps giving. You have got to have this in your cupboard.

Read reviews, so figured I’d try it. OMG! It was perfect. Best tasting brisket to date. 14 lbs and not a piece left. Family was raving about how good it tasted. Perfect balance of everything. So im keeping this secret to myself and away from family!.

This is a family favourite and goes well with anything from Salmon to Brisket. Even great on Cauliflower steaks or courgette slices. Great value and great packaging and a renowned name. Mixed the Treager coffee with Salt Lick BBQ rub on a brisket this weekend turned out brilliant.

I trust and love Braggs. I start my day with Braggs ACV water. So when I stumbled across this, I thought it might be a quick and easy boost to my daily bone broth. Rosemary is one of my top 3 favorite herbs, and apparently it’s Braggs #1 because it basically looks and tastes like you sprinkled rosemary on your food.

Every now and again you get a carrot fleck or something else lol. Personally, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this again. I will probably use it up and then make my own little ‘bone broth’ blend to reuse the bottle.

For me it’s high quality, trusted brand, poor execution.

These are reliably good, unlike other marinated asparagus, such as Pampas, which are mushy. Since Sam’s Club no longer carries their large jars of marinated asparagus, I was glad to find these at Walmart, and buy the 6-pack every few months to have them around to put on our salads, etc.

A bit more expensive, but easier to find, and as I said, reliably good. They’re certainly more expensive at other on-line places, some as much as $7-10 a bottle (!). So am pleased with the quality, the cost and the convenience of having them shipped to my door.

This asparagus is delicious. The product is shipped in a single box and each shipment has had broken bottles. Then I have to call and get credits for the broken bottles. Too bad the packer of the product does not pack correctly for shipping.

I love this asparagus. Found it bottled like this in Ireland, and was pleasantly surprised to find that Walmart sells it here in the states. Convenient, low calorie and nutritious snack or addition to your relish and vegetable trays.

The absolute best seasoning i have ever used in my entire life. We originally bought it to put on veggies to make them more appealing on a whim and bam best kebabs/grilled veggies wed made! Eating veggies after that when we ran out seemed so meh.

Just bought more finally and now im eating a bunch of veggies again. We also came to the conclusion tho that maybe its just a seasoning of veggies that you can put on anything not just vegetals. We thought about it and it complimented our salmon really good on the kababs too.

Omg. I was a Cook at a Headstart School and I used this seasoning for just about everything. We didn’t have a problem with the children eating there vegetables at all. I stopped working there and couldn’t order it anymore.

The McCormick Grill Mates Smokehouse Maple is one of the best rubs i have ever used. IT comes in a 13. 5 ounce plastic bottle. I have used almost 2 full containers in 2 weeks! Tried the seasoning for the 4th of July on chicken and ribs.

It was such a success that I ordered another bottle last week and have used almost all of it for ribs last night. I used the left overs to make pulled pork this morning. I watch my carbohydrate intake and this seasoning has zero carbs.

It is wonderful on ribs and chicken, which are both low carb and high protein. It is made with all natural herbs and spices, including brown sugar, red bell pepper, paprika, garlic, onion and salt.

I was looking for Marketside which came in a larger size; but, is no longer available. This brand is more tangy; but, quite tasty. I keep a jar in my fridge for snacking.

Sooo tasty. Perfect for Bloody Marys, or just for snacking.

Our number one “go to” for cooking all veggies, not just asparagus. The packaging is terrible for these reasons: You don’t need to make the whole package. Opening the package is messy. There is no way to apportion a smaller amount to use unless it was put in a jar.

I bought this not knowing if I was going to like it or not. I sautéed some asparagus and threw this in with a little bit of water and wow! My boyfriend is obsessed. He craves it almost every day! I had to teach him how to cook just so he can make it for himself while I’m at work lol.

No joke, that good. I never make a salad without a few shakes of this on it. Eggs, cooked vegetables, potatoes. Anything. The flavor awakens any dish. Not salty, not peppery. Not spicy. It is hard to explain.

Just hits all the good notes. I wish I could create it myself to save some money, but there is just something special about whatever “spices” are in it. Got my neighbor and family hooked on it too 🙂 McCormick even wrote me back when I reached out about being sad I couldn’t find it in stores anymore I begged them to not cancel this seasoning and replace it with another.

I was inspired to buy from another Influenster @jessicah676 her review had me so convinced that I needed to try it and she was absolutely right! This seasoning is delicious, I made a Cobb salad with it and it’s flavors are phenomenal.

Not to salty even tho that’s the first ingredient, all the flavors just go together and blend so well that it’s like a party in a seasoning container lol. The price was right at my local Shoprite for $2.

99, and the size will definitely last me for a while because a little goes a long way with this seasoning. I can’t wait to try this on other foods I’m sure it’s limitless what you can do with this. If you want to try this DONT hesitate it’s very tasty and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed at all.

The next time I try it I think I’ll sprinkle a little on my cream cheese bagel 🥯 💡.

This is the best thing McCormick makes!!!! I promise you. I use it on chicken wings, thighs, buffalo chicken wing dip, in the cream cheese filling of jalepeno poppers, on RIBS!!! I use this a lot!!!! Grilled vegetables!!!! Amazing!!!! BUT!!!!!! I can’t find it anymore please please please bring this back! It’s all I want for Christmas and I promise to be a better person!.

I was excited to try this, when I opened the box there were spices that leaked out all over from the container. The have a “freshness seal” but only on one side of the container, the other side can easily open and there is no other seal preventing the spices from leaking out during shipment.

I prefer to use products that are properly sealed. Traeger should change their packaging on the rubs.

We use this on everything not just chicken or poultry. It’s got a great citrus flavor that’s not overwhelming. A really good versatile seasoning. Comes in a good size with plenty of use out of it.

McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning is my all time favorite for not only seasoning steaks, but I’ve have used in on chicken, pork even on baked French fries and grilled veggies. I’ve been sold on it since I first tried it.

Today, sodium is a subject of many health studies and we are being told we consume too much sodium which I found to be true when I calculated it out over a period of one week. I was just curious and boy was I surprised.

I was consuming 3 times the recommended levels. Sodium is in almost everything, especially frozen and canned foods. Almost everything processed has high levels of sodium. Well McCormick has done it again.

They have modified Montreal Steak Seasoning with 25% less sodium. A check of the Nutritional Facts shows that the original has 180mg of sodium while this only has 125mg. While not a huge decrease, every little bit helps.

According to the label, this decrease gives you 5% of the DV. The funny thing is it tastes the same to me. I’m not big on salting everything so my palate may be different than yours. However I believe if you try it, you’ll agree.

The great taste is still there. A minor sacrifice for a healthier spice. Way to go McCormick!.

When I received the seasoning mixes, I had just learned that my husband and I have elevated blood pressure and need to reduce our sodium intake. I was bummed about this because all I could think of was the “nasty” salt-free foods my mom used to have to eat when I was younger and I did not want to have to eat like that for the rest of my life! Well, I must say, the first night, I used the Less Sodium Montreal Chicken Seasoning and it was absolutely delicious! I was pleasantly surprised.

The next night, I made tacos using the Less Sodium Taco mix and my family devoured them. My husband, the grill king, used the Black Garlic Parmesan Seasoning Mix to some ground beef and let it set for a couple of hours prior to putting a few burgers on the grill, topped them with the creamy mustard and those were some of the best burgers we’ve had.

These seasoning blends and mustard are definitely not what I feared. I’m glad that I received them to try when I did because the timing and flavors are perfect for my needs. I highly suggest them to anyone, even if you’re not on a reduced sodium diet because these seasonings just taste good.

My family loves a good tender steak occasionally. Attempting to find a marinade that also is healthy wasn’t exactly easy. I try not use a lot of salt, but it seems like there is hidden salt in everything.

Even making my own marinade, there was a lot of salt and sugar in homemade ones. I had previously used McCormick spices, and came across the packets of Montreal Steak Seasoning, but again the sodium amount was high! I was sent Grill Mates 25% less sodium Montreal Steak Seasoning to evaluate.

I use this on almost everything! Adds that extra something to all my food! I’ve added it to tacos, hamburgers, rice dishes, there is no limit! I add it when I need that extra flavor but there isn’t a 1 spice to do the job.

My kids love it on roasted asparagus and roasted broccoli! It really has no limit! I buy atleast 4 when I need to restock cause my family loves it so much! Roasted chicken thighs extra crunchy is my fave way using this seasoning!.

This is a seasoning that can be used on everything from any meat to vegetables. I love grilled or roasted green beans and this really enhances them along with pearl onions and a bit of olive oil. I add it to homemade soups and it adds that something extra.

I was sick and could only have broth and I as added just a tiny bit and it helped make something like chicken broth much more tolerable. If you have never used it does add a better flavor to anything you make.

I picked this up a few years ago to try because I love garlic so why not. So glad I did!! I completely fell in love with this seasoning when I sauteed noodles with it and topped it with heirloom pasta sauce – so good!!! I use it for cooking vegetable and meats, as a matter of fact, it’s become a staple in my pantry and I use it frequently, so does my daughter when she cooks.

We love these for a Swiss dish that we make. We could not find them in any local stores due to the pandemic. Thrilled we could order them online. My only worry is they would arrive in one piece. They were well packaged.

This is a fantastic BBQ rub. It has sweetness with a little bit of heat, a very nice balanced flavor. Amazing on ribs and chicken for smoking. It is best paired with a very light dusting of a salty compound applied first such as Killer Hogs AP Rub or Goya Adobo.

When the moisture starts to come up then apply a generous coating of The Rub. Sprits now and then while smoking with Coca Cola and be ready for absolute perfection. I have used this product a lot and was buying it from Malcolm Reeds site.

This is a delicious rub. My family really enjoyed. I allowed the rub to set over night in the fridge on some ribs and some tips. This was my first time using it. I went back to the store and bought two more bottles.

The taste reminded us when we were younger and our uncle used to cook the best ribs in town.

I was sceptical about the flavour these simple spices would bring out. I did Ribeyes 2” thick on the baby Webber q. I hit them with the AP seasoning 8 hours before I cooked them. Placed them back in the refrigerator until 1 hour before cooking time.

Awesome flavour! I also put AP seasoning on baked potatoes right on top of the sour cream and cheese. Kids loved them. I will always have this seasoning on hand from now on.

My order had a mix up (post office daily not DanO) but the Dan O customer service quickly resolved the issue and got my product out to me fast. The product was well packed and the seasoning looked fresh.

The only reason I give it 3 stars is because for me, I didn’t like the actual taste of the seasoning. It’s very fresh and citrusy so if you like that flavor with your meats this is definitely the one.

I came across this on and decided to try it. First, I like that it DOES NOT HAVE ingredients one doesn’t need: sugar, gluten, MSG and no GMO. I also like that it is low in sodium. This is really important as I do really need to watch my intake.

The salt it does have just pulls the ingredients together to create a great flavor without being the main ingredient. This spicy seasoning has a nice kick to it which I love. I use it on a lot of different kinds of food: meat, eggs, veggies, soups, hash browns, etc.

If one does not like a kick to their food, then use the original seasoning; it good too!.

Great stuff but really hard to find now. I was use to picking it up in store around town but no longer could find it. Amazon pricing was ridiculous. This seasoning gives skirt steak the perfect flavor when grilled outside.

I just tenderize the meat, sprinkle this on with a little bit of oil, and let it marinate in a ziplock bag in the fridge for as long as I want. Bring to temperature, then grill. Perfect steak!.

I need to buy this in buckets I use it so much. My favoring is shaken into egg whites before cooking. LOADS of flavor! I’ve also used it instead of taco seasoning, rubbed onto both fish and chicken.

Who doesn’t love Adobo?! I put this on everything – vegetables, tuna, meats, rice, it all gets Adobo. This one has pepper so just a little kick. I think the Adobo with the red cap has no pepper (both are good, I just use them for different spicy levels).

Adobo with lemon (yellow cap) is ok but my least fave of the 3 I’ve tried. Best overall seasoning!.

I’m a vegan (of course I had to share, comes with the territory) and I ordered this seasoning to spice up my veggies. I sautéed my Brussels in the pan, added some Himalayan salt and fresh ground pepper like I always do, and popped the top on the veggie dust.

I sprinkled an outrageous amount on my Brussels (you have to commit right?) and let them cook for a few minutes more. Once finished, i paired them with my black beans and quinoa (lazy vegan meal). I took a bite of the Brussels and started searching for a ring online.

Idk what this seasoning is or what it’s done to me but my life has been better since I’ve found it and I plan to spend the rest of my life with it. – The Future Mrs. Veggie Dust.

I am loving it. Last night I sprinkled Veggie Dust (apprehensively) all over a big pan of vegetables for roasting. I normally only toss them with olive oil, salt and pepper and maybe some rosemary and its fine.

I received the Blackstone Teriyaki Seasoning. I used it on salmon. Very simple. sprinkle it on and cook the salmon however you prefer. I pan fried it and it gave the salmon a nice glaze. Just olive oil and the teriyaki seasoning is all that was needed.

It had a really good flavor, but I wasn’t getting “teriyaki”. If I had a blindfold on, I would have thought it was a lemon seasoning. It had a sour taste, instead of a sweeter teriyaki taste. It was good though.

I looked at the ingredients and the first ingredients were sugar, salt, citrus acid, and vinegar powder. That explains the strong sour taste. It also contained orange juice concentrate, which helps to explain the citrus taste.

I looked online for recipes and you can sprinkle this on any meat and grill, bake, fry, or broil. It all looks good and easy. I saw a recipe where they made stir fried rice, which looked amazing and another one where they used it on pineapple! Delish! I would like to try to mix it with oil and/or water and try it as a marinade to get a stronger flavor.

It’s fun to experiment! All and all, I would say it tastes good, but not like teriyaki. Good product to try!!!.

This Blackstone Teriyaki Seasoning is super yummy. I loved using it when cooking on my stove top and my chicken came out great. My husband used it when making fried rice and was very pleased with the flavor.

We also used it when we grilled shrimp on our charcoal grill. This was the tastiest of all. I highly recommend having this teriyaki seasoning on hand to jazz up your menu. My family is a big fan of this flavor in general and I’m glad we finally found a seasoning we all like.

I look forward to trying it out on more meats and dishes.
