Best Seal For Strength Faith (2024 Updated)

Used it to seal leaky bins on our Class A motor coach. Factory seals leak when it rains all or stuff gets wet. This appears to be a perfect solution. Reordering now for the other side of the coach.

I am delighted to have this wallet, I had not realised when I ordered it, that it is made by Wombat. I already have a knapsack made by them which is amazing, as is my wallet.

This is being used on a flood control panel at each entry to the house and I have not seen if this will work as planned but it appears that it will.

Very useful and versatile product. Looks and smells like extra strong glue, but holds on better and sets semi hard and seals pipes and fittings as well as glueing stuff. Does not stick to polyethelene tanks or sheet, but is says this in the info pack.

Polycarbonate is not good as a permanent fix, but it will hold long enough to allow a proper fix using resin or something similar. Slow to dry I found, unlike what it says on packs. Worth having a tube in the toolbox, and I now carry a tube in my motorcycle tool kit.

Best bonder / sealant on the market. Goes on smooth and easily. Dries and sets up relatively quickly. Seal-All remains slightly pliable and is perfect to repair all manner of items. I use it on all my boats, aluminum, fibreglass , does not leak or degrade even in gassy water.

Comes in handy squeeze tube. Easy to apply to clean surface. Sets to nice clear transparent gloss. No more petrol leaks. Seals instantly. Cures hard in 6 hours. Excellent product.

I have tried different brands of silicone over the years and most are pretty much the same, with the biggest variation being price. Caulking is a good thing given the caulk holds up and works. I find 100% silicone is very effective in sealing and being waterproof.

Lasts. Dries clear like it should. Fills the cracks like caulking is supposed to. A bit goopy, but that’s normal The clean up is a bit more than other acrylic caulking, you need mineral spirits. So wear gloves.

he only things you have to worry about when using it as a project adhesive: 1. If you’re using it to attach things for projects, it can come apart if it takes a sharp blow or falls. I don’t recommend it for areas which will be bearing a lot of weight or tension.

2. If you use it attach natural stones to something, be aware that very porous stones like limestone or sandstone may react adversely and dissolve over a few weeks. Silicone is more than caulk. It’s also a great adhesive.

I used this product to adhere mylar-backed bubble insulation to my garage doors. It sets up quickly and holds most materials. Most importantly, it doesn’t get hard, brittle or shrink, so it will last a very very long time.

I used this to seal up where the backsplash was separating from the wall. I hope to keep out water from dripping behind there and bugs from going behind there. I cut the tip to the smallest size because I didn’t want to create a goopy mess.

Dispensing the product was super easy. It might take a little strength to squeeze it out thought especially if you are using the smallest opening. But once you get it going and get the hang of it, it’s easy to use.

I squeezed out a line and was happy that it’s not super noticeable. The pics are before and after applying, but I went a step further and smoothed out the line (not pictured) to make things look a little neater.

That was easy too as long as you do it immediately before the sealant starts to cure.

I have found so many great uses for this sealant! I love that it’s clear. We have done a door frame repair, a window leak repair, and sealed up some old weather stripping with this stuff. It hasn’t failed us and does a great job even when it gets wet.

The sealant still holds. I will say that you need to be careful with the tube. Instead of squeezing it out, start by rolling the bottom a little at a time to get the sealant out. It will save you some frustration of wasting product.

But honestly, it is such a versatile sealant that you will find so many uses for. You’ll want to always have a tube of this around the house for repairs. I give it 5 stars without hesitation.

This book has helped changed how I respond in certain situations. It provdes excellent information with exercises at the end of the chapters along with a program at the end of the book to help strengthen yourself mentally, emotionally and physcially.

I’d recommend everyone to read it!.

Saw an excerpt of this book in Readers Digest. I had to have it, and just as hoped the training exercises round out morning prayers. Very helpful for concentration as well as introspection.

I have made a lot of changes in my life because of this book. As it not only gives advise it helps leads the way. Worth every Cent!

First, let me get the one and only complaint out of the way. The product shipped with “Permatex” threadlocker blue. That would have been fine, but FedEx managed to submit the shipment to differences in air pressure, which caused the liquid to leak all over the rest of the shipment.

No bit deal since everything came in it’s own packaging, but it might be better to reduce the price of the kit, and allow the customer to buy the “threadlock” to prevent leaks. Other than that, the kit is pretty much perfect.

Solves the problem of a stud-less system which is a royal pain to change tires with. The studs supplied are a touch too long, but no big deal. They screw in with an Allen wrench, and the supplied lug nuts are nice to look at and hold the tire assembly firmly to the wheel.

One drawback is Volvo tire studs have a 19mm hex head, and the supplied lug nuts are 17mm, which makes the car’s tire-iron useless.

Have an old weed wacker blower where the nut wants to keep coming loose after about 30minutes of use. The nut holds the flywheel in place. I finally got tired of taking off 10 screws on the bottom cover to tight it each time.

Put some of this thread tight permatex (blue), on it and haven’t had any problems. I check every 30minutes of use, After three times, the nut is still tight even though it rotates with the shaft as designed.

Problem solved. I’ll check it after about 5 more times of use but I think I’m good now. Bottom line, the stuff does work.

I took brake calipers and control arms off, then put the back together. I rode around for a while and I was always concerned about upside down bolts working their way loose. I had to make an adjustment and I saw them coming out! I realized that I needed some of this, even though after market parts come with red on it.

This stuff makes sure that they stay put! I even noticed it on laptop screws. I guess anything that is upside down or worked a lot, can have screws and bolts work their way loose. This is the one to get.

I’m familiar with Flex Seal, having used the clear kind mixed with a dye to create a ‘syrup’ look for a waffle hat. It’s a diverse material but definitely runny so it can be pretty messy if you’re not careful, tricky to pour at the right consistency for the effect you want.

So Flex Paste interested me for the thicker consistency and the impressive commercials showing the underwater seal and glueing paving stones together. While I didn’t need it for anything that extreme, I used it on a much smaller scale and tried it in small molds (primed with a release) and even glueing some doll parts together (dolls made of vinyl, PVC and even resin).

I obviously used parts I could afford to lose but Flex Paste actually worked quite well and was easy to clean up with a less than clean application. It is very powerful stuff so I still took necessary precautions to protect work surfaces and clothing but I didn’t find it hard to keep it neat.

I would love to see it in clear, since I do like to custom color this sort of material and white doesn’t allow for any transparencies. However, as viscous as this is, it would probably have visible bubbling that would be difficult to avoid.

It does dry reasonably quickly so you need to have a plan going in for working with at the right consistency before it gets gummier. It reminds me of silicone when wet but definitely has better adhesion, one thing silicone makes challenging to work with.

I think this Flex Paste stuff is very diverse and I do look forward to seeing what else I can come with up. I think it might be perfect for a bird bath project in the spring!.

I have been refurbishing my make-up vanity and instead of a wood filler I used the Flex Seal paste to some cracks and breaks in the wood. It dried within 24hrs and was ready to paint. The filling never cracked or shrank which is a huge plus and I only needed one application.

I didn’t have to send it since it is easy to apply and smooth out, and the label doesn’t recommend sanding anyway. Consistency is great, a bit thick but easy to shape and apply. I used a small putty knife which was easy to clean but make sure you use anything that can handle mineral spirits or alcohol.

Labels say to not use water for clean up which caught me off guard a little. Overall great product, just make sure you are ready to clean your tools without water later. There is a protective foil and silica packet to preserve the paste.

So closing the lid won’t be enough, you have to make sure it’s sealed each time. Great product, but safer in small packaging so in case of bad seal not much will go bad.

I recently had the water main in my area replaced. I had to have a new water line installed that enters my home from the new main line. My old lines were copper, the new are a type of flexible plastic.

I needed a Shark Bite adaptor to connect between the plastic and copper line where it enters my home. I developed a slight leak at the Shark Bite adaptor, that I and maintenance crew were not able to get to stop leaking.

I’ve been using water at a reduced pressure ever since, ugh! I used the Flex Paste on the Shark Bite adaptor at point of the leak. I let it dry for about 6 hours, since it’s the middle of winter and temperatures are cold.

The Flex paste seems to have done the trick. No more leak! Now I’m anxiously awaiting spring, when the maintenance crew can turn the water pressure back up. This will be the deciding factor, if the Flex Paste holds.

I figure it will have plenty of time to set-up. I plan on putting another coating of Flex paste on the Shark Bite adaptor prior to having the water pressure turned up. Hoping for the best! In the meanwhile, the leak has stopped! Good job Flex paste!.

You know what? It bothers me that there is a need for this product to even exist. But, that’s not the product’s fault. When this product is needed, it works just like it should. It can be a little messy to install, but at least it works every time.

I ordered this for head bolt/ water jacket sealing. Overlooked the tiny volume of sealant in this tube. This was enough for a handful of bolts. Do yourself a favor and just buy a teflon high heat thread sealant container with applicator brush.

I used this product to seal a fuel petcock on the bottom of a tractor gas tank. The petcock screwed in with 1/4″ NPT threads. I didn’t want to use Teflon tape because 1) I wasn’t sure how it’d do vs.

gasoline and 2) I didn’t want to risk the tape getting into the tank and blocking the fuel inlet. Well, the fuel petcock’s threads aren’t leaking at all, so I think the sealant works. I plan to also use this for a bit of insurance on some oil line compression fittings.

Product color is a white paste and looks like standard teflon pipe dope. I purchased it because many of the factory threads on the 2007 3. 0L Ford Ranger’s water pump had a red colored sealant on them and service data indicated that at least 3 of 12 bolts required a sealant as they pass through a water jacket and are shared mounting bolts with the timing cover that they pass through.

I used the supplied gasket with a little RTV for insurance and so far, so good.

I had an oil line leak forever on my WWII Jeep and thought that I would need to get new lines. Instead I cleaned them up, added a little thread sealant a no more leaks. So happy.

Kilner jars are superb and I have many of them. I did not buy these seals to use on my kilner jars although I obviously could have because the seals that came with the jars are of good enough quality to last for a very long time.

What made me buy these seals is the fact that I have a few supermarket own brand jars that look similar to Kilner jars, have a very similar metal locking mechanism but dont have a good seal. I realised this when cleaning out one of my supermarket jars with water and finding to my surprise that it leaked.

Which of course made me realise the the spices I had been storing in that particular jar had degraded more quickly than I expected because it wasnt sealed properly. The diameter of the jar opening was the same as for the Kilner jars I have so I decided to buy a pack of the these seals to see if if they would be useable on another brand of jar.

The simple answer is yes, after fitting the seal I filled the jar with water and turned it upside down to test. Not a drop of water leaked out, so I now effectively have several more Kilner jars that arent really Kilner jars at all.

I now know that Kilner jars are not about the locking mechanism or the quality of the glass, it is all about the seals. Knowing this probably makes me feel more satisfied than it should, but is the best commendation for these seals that it is possible to have.

Having been gifted a set of what Ill generously describe as Kilneralike Jars a few years ago, which have proven themselves to be absolutely unsealable to the ruination of several attempts at making preserves with our own, precious, homegrown produce and since been relegated to the back of the big cupboard, which has become a graveyard for various pieces of useless kitchen tat You know the stuff, its hard to clean or functionally pointless, or both.

Or just a faff. The kind of stuff that aspires to replace the beautiful simplicity of a sharp knife and a chopping board with electricity, noise and half an hours worth of washingup misery. That kind of stuff.

Why cant I just dump it Why do I continue to tell myself itll come in useful some day we decided to try these in the jars before. well, probably putting them back in the cupboard again, if Im honest.

and Im happy to report that these rings actually SEAL THE JARS This might actually be the BEST rubber product Ive ever purchased. Im not sure my missus would agree, though.

I don’t want to knock the product too much, as I’m sure they are perfect for their intended use. But, I think it’s helpful to mention. these will not fit other brands 3L jars. Bought them for Fido Italian 3L and they were too big.

Wish they were more universal. Good price and shipping from Everything Kitchens though.

Herbin brand is the issue here. The disc has tons of tiny hairline scratches. Online photos don’t show that. It feels like it’s been used. It’s not a great feeling. I don’t know if they are all like that.

It’s wonderful with the J. Herbin King’s Sealing Wax. Be careful which way you orient it though. The cursive C doesn’t always look like a letter if you don’t have it facing the right way. It will result it people laughing rather hard.

Received this as a gift. The seal is definitely a little small but not as small as I thought it would be! The H is very elegant and I didn’t have any trouble with the wax sticking to the seal or anything like that.

This product is super easy to use and very effective. I had a very small pin-point leak dripping from my motorcycle gas tank, and this product was the easy fix. Cleaned up the paint/little rust spot/debris, and applied the sealant.

Waited a few moments, and BOOM. Done. Will use again in the future and highly recommend.

Some nice person stabbed my 2003 Tahoe gas tank. Searched several ways of repairing on you tube. Considered replacing tank even. Tried this product first before ordering a tank. Day 2 no leaks. Sealed and pleased.

I had not tried this product before, but recognized the 3M quality of it. Adheres nicely to boxes for packaging items. A lot more product than other advertised brands for the money. Excellent value.

I was dissapointed with this tape. It is so thin it breaks off easily and you have to use your fingernails to get it off the roll. not happy with the thinness of this packing tape. Probably won’t buy this again.

I recently bought some things to resale from an estate sale. You need good strong packing tape. This should get me through the month.

It’s a fraction of the cost of their forever white product. all I can think/hope is the micro ban in forever costs bomb and is worth it (because I bought this for the shower tray front). I used this on less critical/vertical joints outside the shower or backfilling and meh! It seemed to work just as well on the day! Kept the costs down which is becoming a consideration with the insane rises in materials! Perhaps slightly off white?? Great to see they are using more recycled plastic in the cartridges now.

In the last year I have found this sealant to poorly bond on baths and shower trays, I’ve been using it for a few years without problem until recently. The last occasion was poor bond to a bath, the bath edge was braced to the floor with timber and had no movement, but the silicon had almost no bonding and just peeled off.

I have been cleaning the surfaces with meths and wet wipes then drying prior to sealing. Now changed to a different brand as can’t afford to keep returning to failures.

And an other great value product. With so many of this type product available it’s quite difficult to compare them. The brand is very good value and with the added sanitary protection seems perfect for my requirements.

Time will tell on quality and it is impossible to say anything else without time to see how the product lasts etc.

I ordered two sets of 6 rolls, and half of the twelve rolls were wrinkled and creased, or the tape comes off the roll with discoloration. You really couldn’t use these for taping shipping labels to packages.

I don’t know if they were improperly stored or are factory seconds or what, but I’ve ordered plenty of Scotch 3M tape before and have never come across this.

Had two goes at addressing a leak in a heating system. First attempt failed, after putting 2 bottles in a 7 rad system. I would describe the leak as healthy with the system being topped up 2/3 x per day.

Second go, a further 4 bottle put in the system. Job done! On reflection I think 4 bottles would have done it first time round. All in all very happy, no flooring pulled up.

Had a leak in my central heating system, causing loss of pressure. With all solid floors, we couldn’t find the problem. Put a couple of cans of CT 1 in the system (21 radiators!) and it seems to have solved the problem.
