Best Seafood Playa Del Carmen (2024 Updated)

I have five cats and we’ve run the gambit of trying to find something that they all like. The Fancy Feast pate wet food does the trick for all of them! What’s better, is that my two cats with sensitive stomachs can handle this food as well! I’ve not had any of them puke it back up which is amazing.

There are some downsides however as well. I prefer the 40 can pack of this because you get a fourth flavor which really comes in handy because only one cat likes the orange can. The rest hate it. I have also found that sometimes the cans can be very juicy.

This would typically be fine because the cats enjoy the extra liquid but when it comes to opening the lid, it’s VERY hard to not fling some of that juice out. I’ve tried so hard to open these cans as gingerly and slowly as possible and I still have to clean it off walls or other areas of the house which is terrible because it also has a STRONG smell.

I really wish that these came in a tear away package and not the can if they’re going to be that juicy.

My cat Shelby is quite the picky eater (she is a seafood lover and only really likes pate). She is on a diet of strictly wet food due to having a full mouth extraction (she had absolutely zero desire for dry food after that).

She isn’t a big eater so I liked the small cans. I was feeding it to her for a few months and noticed she was having hair balls constantly. She acted like she didn’t feel well and was just grumpy. I really couldn’t pin point what was causing this.

She was eating 3 cans of this a day and realized how expensive it was and needed a cheaper option. I tried Meow Mix 2. 75oz cups and 9 Lives 5. 5oz cans, despite the bigger size. She acted completely different and no more hair balls.

So, just be cautious and watch for changes in your kitty’s behavior. Even though a wet food has good reviews, that doesn’t mean it will be good for your cat.

Artie(orange tabby, 2 1/2 yrs) and Binky(mixed/domestic long hair–a little over a year old)– In this box both cats love the Liver and Chicken, and the Beef and Chicken Feast. Only Binky will eat the Turkey and Giblets, and he loves it.

Artie likes the fancy feast Florentine foods. Artie would sometimes lick the gravy or sauce up and leave the food, so I started feeding him Pate’ which he didn’t used to like. Binky likes everything.

I also bought the Classic Beef feast and it’s now the favorite of both cats. I prefer the Pate’ because I know that they are both eating all their food and not just licking away the sauce or gravy. Both cats love the following Fancy Feast Classic Pate’s– Cod, Sole & Shrimp; Ocean Whitefish & Tuna; Liver & Chicken; Beef & Chicken Feast; Salmon & Shrimp Feast; Savory Salmon Feast;.

Artie won’t eat the Chicken Feast, he smells it and walks away, but Binky will eat it. Neither cat will eat any of the grilled fancy feasts, or the chunky or the sliced or the minced or the flaked. Artie’s other favorite along with the Classic Beef Pate is the Fancy Feast Medleys Wild Salmon Florentine.

Another favorite of both is the Fancy Feast Medleys Tuna and Shrimp.

This is a great product of yellow rice and sea food. I can cook a meal in minutes! Just drop everything in my rice cooker, (rice comes with the spices and flavor in one plastic bag, and sea food in a easy to open can) add water, and if you want, maybe some olives, or maybe if you have them some frozen shrimps, and you’ll will have a nice and delicious yellow rice/seafood Paella dinner! The only thing is that it may be enough rice for two people if you add other things to your dinner, like a nice mix salad, fried bananas, slices of avocado, and finish with a dessert, otherwise, there is not enough food for two if you plan to eat only the Paella rice.

I have seen this product in a bigger box in the market, (12 ounces) and I am sure it is a meal good for two. If you live alone and want to eat a fast and good tasting meal, easy to cook, buy this product.

It comes in a case of 12 individual packages of 8 ounces each. This product is not shipped directly from Wal Mart, but the company that does (Marketplace Retailer Unbeatablesale, Inc. ) ships the case well packaged and via Fedex and everything arrived fast to my home’s door.

This was such a surprise that we did not have to buy any other ingredients! The seafood was included in a can and with cooking time being only 25 min’s this became our favorite dish to have on hand! We will order again and again!.

i like the simple and easy to follow directions given on pakage. also the great taste of the rice. my husband is a picky eater and he ate it all.

I finally got around to trying one of the sample packs sent to me in an earlier order. I didn’t think I was going to like them. The packets are quite easy to open, no scissors needed. I used one packet of the citrus dill salmon on a large bed of mixed fresh greens seasoned only with salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

It was just the right amount of protein to add in my salad. And it was delicious!! I ate the 2nd packet the very next evening.

Living in Maine, I usually prefer fresh clams for my chowder, but these are almost as good and much more convenient. These are not those chopped up clams that don’t even resemble a real clam in any form.

These are actual clams, not invisible bits of something clam related. I love these clams and use them to make a huge pot of chowder in the slow cooker. You won’t be disappointed in these if you like clams.

Have Been eating these clams for years. Our Costco store used to carry them but like always they rotate things out and change things and I couldnt find them anymore. Theyre the only canned clams I can find out a big chunk pieces not little itty-bitty pieces and I made clam chowder out of them.

And my clam chowder is tasty.

These are some of the best chopped clams on the market. Excellent quality and flavor and they help make my New England clam chowder a great success! The biggest drawback is their cost. Costco sells the exact same product for $18.

99 (last time I bought them there), but they don’t always have them in stock. That’s a big difference! I don’t plan to buy these again unless the price comes down.

My cats really like this beef entre offered by Pro Plan. I have now had it on their rotational menu for about a year. When they were first served it, they ate every single bite. There are 5 of them and every night they are served 6 or 7 three ounce cans plus a can of Friskies, just so they do not get too spoiled.

After a year, they have decided that there are other beef offerings that they prefer, oddly enough, it is the plainer and less costly Friskies wet food. So, I have given this only 4 stars. Now, you know kitties and how their tastes can change, so it may be that the beef carrots and rice may rise up to be a favorite again.

However, I leave this at 4 stars because, cat cannot digest carbohydrates. So the carrots and rice look nice, but they are really in the mix to make the owner feel good. In reality, the carrots and rice add nothing to the health of the cat.

But, even after a year, they do eat it and do like it and that is way better than most foods do. So, I do recommend it and hope your kitties like it as well as mine.

We originally bought this for my 3 adult cats. Within the first few seconds all of the cats seemed cautious of all 4 flavors. The most loved was the salmon dinner and the whitefish with tuna. Both of my males loved those as well as my girl.

It was off to a good start until I opened the Mariners choice. first thing was the texture, super dry and clumpy. When you get a pate, let alone WET cat food, you expect a smooth moist dish for them.

I mixed it up thinking about it had just been sitting and the moisture settled… nope! They all ignored it until finally one of my male cats tried it…. he took maybe 1 or 2 bites and immediately ignored it and moved on, chowing down on the whitefish and tuna.

Then later on my other male tried it and then moved to the salmon. Finally it was my girls turn, she sniffed it and moved to the sea captains choice. It was quite disappointing as I had so many cans left of it.

Now is it worth the price, yes, are most of the flavors alright, yes. But, in the end the Mariners choice was the driest and least liked out of the 4 choices. The salmon was perfect for them as it was smooth and wet, just like expected.

The whitefish with tuna dinner was a bit dry but smooth so it worked out. Now the sea captains catch was a bit soupy. Luckily my cats love moisture in food so it wasn’t a issue. Overall, not too bad for the choices I just hope next time my Mariners choice won’t be clumpy and dry!.

I fed this Friskies Salmon Dinner Pate to my 4 year old female tabby, who is an indoor only cat. She began mewing as soon as I opened the can and quickly sprinted to the bowl and began devouring as soon as I placed it down.

Just by happenstance as she was enjoying this product, her automated feeder went off. Usually she runs towards the bowl when she hears that unmistakable sound. But she was enjoying this Friskies pate so much, she did not even budge when the other food was dispensed.

That is a sure attestation that she thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of this product. I am a label reader, and I am pleased with the guaranteed analysis on the label and meat and meat products as the primary first ingredients.

Product also touts 100% complete and balanced nutrition for adult cats. Who doesn’t want that for their fur babies? I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

My cats always enjoy Friskies and I know I can always count on Friskies and this was no exception. We tried Friskies Shreds Turkey & Giblets Gravy. My cats enjoyed the shreds which surprised me/ I have 3 cats between the ages of 3 to 9.

Their ages made no difference in how much they liked the Turkey & Giblets Shreds. They are all 3 different breeds and have different personalities, but I could feed them the Turkey & Giblets Shreds and they all ate and enjoyed it.

It is nice to find flavors and type of food that all 3 cats can enjoy, because sometimes they can get finicky and turn up their nose at the food. When they got finicky they started licking the gravy and then went on the enjoy the rest of the meal.

I am sure I will be buying Turkey & Giblets Shreds since I know they all like it. I will also be buying other flavors to see if they enjoy them as much, which I am sure they will. “I received this product for free for the purpose of my review.

My daughter started shooting me links to articles about cat food ingredients. I realized cats didn’t require vegetables, but I was unaware of how many products also contained grain products (also something carnivorous animals don’t need).

The Sheba Perfect Portions are a reasonably priced compromise. It does contain by-products (animal parts never found at your supermarket meat counter), but no grains or vegetables. The perfect cat foods (no by-products) cost twice as much.

Should I buy the absolute best for our fur babies? Absolutely. But that would doubtless mean not having a fur baby at all. The Sheba is an affordable, higher quality, and widely available. I visited the manufacturer’s website and was impressed with their commitment to using only sustainable resources for seafood varieties.

Though seafood inevitably has a stronger smell and a little more liquid in the cups, this hardly registers as an inconvenience over something to be mindful of if you’re trying to open these things first thing in the morning.

We have two cats, Sami LilGirl aka AnnieBelle, that regularly both come in to wake me up if I’m trying to sleep in because they need their fix; simply snapping the twin packs is enough to send them running.

It has to be pate’ as well. One time I ordered the shreds by mistake and that was a big no-no. Highly recommend, except if you’re trying to peel the sometimes-very-stuck covers when you’re barely awake.

Whatever adhesive is used to attach the foil top to the plastic container is very effective for protecting the product. Don’t squeeze the container and open it very slowly and try to be careful, lest your fingers get covered in the juice and smell for a bit yuk!.

My 2 boys, 10+ yrs old, both LOVE, the turkey and chicken pates. We tried dozens of other brands, but Sheba got them hooked. If I go anywhere near the kitchen they start harassing me to get them food, no matter when they’ve last eaten.

My one complaint is the packaging. The like daycare very difficult to pull off, especially if you have any hand problems. This is great for freshness and durability, but a frustration when trying to rip them open with cats rubbing all over my legs especially if you drop the sauce on your fingers and then it’s slippery and difficult.

Also, with as much of this as we go through, the portioned packs feel terrible for the environment since they are plastic (which we know doesn’t really get properly processed / recycled) and the foil tops can’t get recycled.

At least a can stands a chance to get recycled, and usually you can get a bigger portion in a can at a better price. Cats LOVE the food, this owner wants multi-serving pull top cans.

Our picky eaters love Sheba Pate seafood variety; therefore, for the last years we have happily ordered boxes of this food for them. Unfortunately, recently we noticed that the company has changed their portions which has noticeably less food per container, and replaced with some type of liquid “gravy” while paying more for each box.

On top of that the liquid goes everywhere when we open the small containers making a mess. The containers were solid before, so this was never a problem. You can tell they’re filled with liquid when you shake the food containers.

We are really upset about this, because our fur kids are going through more containers, which cost us more to feed them. This means we’re paying more for each box than just the price hikes. Consequently, we are paying more for less.

We’re heartbroken, because we now have to look for other options, and wean them off of Sheba. This is extremely disappointing and heartbreaking for our family.

Friendly FYI: This canned meat is NOT salmon filets. My grandmother made salmon croquettes and taught me to crush the bones by hand. Yes, they are bones, but they are soft. Easier than picking them out.

Some cans have more bones than others. If you’re looking for high end salmon, this is not for you. There is an obnoxious fishy smell, stronger than other brands. The price has almost doubled since the pandemic.

This WAS a cheap and easy, protein rich meal.

Red salmon is far better than pink salmon. Pink salmon is often looked at like CAT FOOD to people that know. This is delicious RED SALMON, with deep flavor and highly nutritious. I keep several cans at home, at all times, for when I get the urge to eat it, and the need for sustenance, and for the desire of quality.

Tastes great with just mayo, but I also use it to make salmon cakes, stove top. Great with red onions that are either raw or those that are lightly fried up in oil. You will love this salmon, I sure do and I am a repeat buyer!.

First delivered order of a canned food. The convenience of clicking on a product and having it delivered – just great. This was part of my 30 day trial membership – I like it. The salmon is the same as in the store.

It’s rather good tasting salmon. The wife likes the fact that it was delivered as each can weighs 14. 6 oz, almost a pound each. I will not talk cost as everything cost more – will wait and see. It certainly taste like it’s a good idea to do it again.

I use these cans to make Clam Chowder. It’s much cheaper than using the small cans, and I prefer these chopped ocean clams versus baby clams, which seem to have clam poop attached to the meat. This is meaty and the can has enough liquid so you don’t have to add clam juice.

I actually freeze this after I’ve browned the onions and created the roux. I hold off adding the veggies (potatoes, carrots, celery) and freeze it. When I defrost it, I add the veggies and milk. Awesome, and much better than buying expensive versions like Legal Seafood (sold at Costco) because it’s bland and has very little clams.

I also generally start my chowder with shoulder bacon(better than regular bacon).

Overly processed clams. High sodium content. The clams all have the same color consistency size and taste. They have a bland flavor of somewhat of a seafood variant not a clam flavor. I tried the Bar Harbor Chopped Sea Clams tasting fresh from the boat.

The sodium content of these are 240 mg per serving versus 530 mg. I noted that these are irregular shaped and have a unique sure pleasant odor to them also they have a great flavor straight from the can.

Cooking is like computer programming GIGO, garbage in garbage out. I will never use bumblebee clams again. The bar Harbor cost about $. 80 more per can and I am going to stick with them.

It’s been a long time since I’ve purchased canned clams. It used to be when you opened the can and drained it there would be clams nearly to the top of the can. I ordered 6 cans and so far, I’m 0 for 2, with 4 to go.

Drained weight of the clams is approx 1oz. The can is not even close to 1/4 clams by volume. about 3-4 Tbsp, loose. Are the standards that low now, or did somebody screw-up the settings on a machine at the plant? Quality control went right out the window.

I won’t order these again. I probably won’t order anything from Snows/Bumble Bee again. I’m not fond of gambling when the odds are stacked against me. I’ve never seen nearly empty cans with any other canned goods before.

Disclaimer I’ve never had canned clams before so I have nothing to compare it to, however I will never buy any canned clams ever again. There is SAND or “shell fragments” whatever it is is abrasive to my teeth and awful.

The label does say to rinse the clams to take off shell fragments, but I wanted to use the clam juice for a sauce and how am I supposed to rinse the juice huh? Of which constitutes most of the can I might mention? I’d say 65% of the can is liquid.

Anyway the actual taste of the clams is delicious, it tastes very fresh and nice. I just don’t like CHEWING it on certain bites because I sometimes get the sand grating on my teeth, it’s awful. It’s not good for teeth enamel either.

Furthermore, some of the cans have a bit of rust on the bottom of them. As if this weren’t bad enough, Thrive does not even accurately relay the allergy information listed on the package, that these clams are prepared in a factory that processes MILK and WHEAT (also listed are fish and shellfish).

Also, the 6 cans I got were packaged all rolled up the way that jars typically are, so I unwrapped it standing and they all fell on the floor. I’ve never encountered cans like this wrapped stacked up in a roll as if it were a single product that doesn’t fall in parts upon opening.

Thrive needs to get its act together!.

These clams hit the spot in my spaghetti with clams dish last night. Best flavor of any canned clam brand I have partaken of. Has the perfect ratio of chew to tenderness. Do I wish there were more clams and less juice? Yes, but as long as the price stays current or below, I have a feeling this is going to be another “must have” that I keep coming to VC for.

Pleasantly surprised with the flavor! Had never heard of the brand, but it had good reviews, so I ordered 12 cans. I don’t need more right now, but when I re-order, I’ll make certain to order them with no other items.

Hopefully Walmart will make sure they are shipped in one properly sized, securely sealed box. I was disturbed that my 12 cans were packaged so oddly, with pretzels on the top of the very loosely taped box, then some packing material, then 2 crunched boxes of individually wrapped breakfast snacks and the 12 cans of salmon battling it out on the bottom.

I took photos, but after finding only 2 dented cans (that tasted great), and inspecting each wrapper of crackers that surprisingly remained unbroken, I forgot about it. Please treat my tuna with respect, Walmart!.

I’m very impressed with this salmon. It’s not easy to find canned salmon that tastes great, has good texture (not too mushy), and is offered at such a must-see-to-believe price! As an additional bonus, some skin and bones are included, and the extra nutritional kick is greatly appreciated.

Product purchased to feed neighborhood feral cats, in hopes of stopping them feeding on birds and mice and leaving them in my driveway — apparently, our house is situated in a “killing zone”, and the goal is to TNR (trap, neuter, return).

At first, they didn’t actually know how to eat dry food from a bowl, but their hunger guided them — the chow has an inviting aroma. They all have gotten the hang of eating inanimate food, and they seem to be more robust than when I first encountered them.

This would speak to the nutritional value of the food. They also do not realize they can drink water from the dish I’ve presented to them, so I am also ordering the Friskies “Extra Gravy” canned food in order to hydrate them.

Since I have 4 cats, I split a 5. 5 oz. can into 4 sections and give a section to each cat, which seems to be enough for them to eat at one time. They tend to prefer the pate kind but I get them the filets also but they only lick the gravy.

Perhaps on the filets and shreds maybe the bits could be cut down smaller because it seems to be a waste that most of the food itself gets left and only the gravy is consumed. My cats tend to like the seafood flavors more than the meat flavors, although it seems to be like finding a needle in a haystack nowadays to find any Friskies on the shelf due to covid plus the price seems to keep rising.

George had to go on a special diet due to medical reasons, but before he did, [brand:friskies] was one of his favourite brands of food. He went crazy for them. This flavour when I put it in his bowl, he would be done his dinner in 5 and begging for more.

If he snuck out of the house, I would grab the packet and shake it, he would run into the house quicker than lightning. It was and still is the only way to get him back into the house. He was addicted to His [brand:friskies].

Good snacking is a MUST on any outdoor adventure. Using a spork to put some exceptionally delicious Mackerel on a cracker with a spread of tzatziki sauce or avocado (or hard cheese!) is an amazing, delicious, healthy, hearty, and quick snack that packs a TON of nutrients and energy.

It’s hard to do much better than looking out at a lake with this snack, or high up on a mountain eating this. I’ll occasionally just eat a tin at home they are so good. And with massive doses of B-vitamins and Omega-3’s, you get a great kind of energy.

It’s so simple too. If you’re REALLY into the wilderness stuff, the tins can make a makeshift container to cook in, otherwise they’re trash you have to pack out/account for, but it’s such a small nuance of the packaging that it’s both easy to overlook, and easy to address.

Love Patagonia products but this is kind of awful. Simply put, the heavy olive oil over powers this beautifully fresh caught fish. I feel like we need a preserved “in water and salt” option, maybe with some of the same great spices like the Spanish paprika (which is a brilliant and traditional flavor) but in water and salt and not olive oil.

Perhaps even a smoked version in water and salt. The capers and lemon doesn’t really pair well with the olive oil either and that option loses many great aspects of those simple but dynamic seasonings.

As an avid cook I love olive oil but for mackerel I believe that preserving in salt and water is a desirable option and would make the fish less greasy and improve the texture. Mackerel benefits from heavy salt but soaking it in olive oil makes this fish rather tough and slimy.

I have enjoyed salted mackerel at sushi restaurants and make my own sushi regularly throughout the year. You don’t need heavy oil to prepare this fish. If we had oil free options, then we could put always some olive oil on our bread and place the smoked or seasoned mackerel in water on it, and not over oil the fish so we lose the actual taste and dimension.

I really hope they improve this product. I was excited about it but after sampling all the flavors I am very disappointed. Especially with how incredible their Jerkey or seed snacks are. Those are 10/10.

I once had a river smoked mackerel on the shores of the Monongahela in the dead of Winter with my first mate Horace. We were ice hole fishing and hadn’t had a darn bit of luck all day… when suddenly… Horace got a bite! Horace reeled that bad mamajama, but boy did she give ‘em hell.

Broke Horace’s left pinky. Finally after an hours worth of work he brought in that ol flippy boy and there it was! A beauty of a Chub. We smoked that mackerel up for dinner that night and it was the best fish I’d ever had.

I just want the world to know… Patagonia’s mackerel was even better than that ol boy Horace reeled in back in the day.

First of all, this box does not contain the shrimp pate. Instead it has flaked tuna, which is not grain-free and my cats can’t eat it. Secondly, I have been buying Fancy Feast for years and my kitties have always liked it.

I have noticed that the quality of some of the flavors seemed to ebb over time and the last half dozen boxes I have bought here have sat untouched by all seven of my cats. If one or two of them turned their noses up at it, I’d think they were being finicky, but that’s not the case.

They just plain won’t eat it. These guys have dry food and Fancy Feast as a treat twice a day and the sniff it and then try to bury it. Whatever Purina is doing to this food, they’re destroying their own customer base.

I can’t afford to keep throwing out cat food.

This was a wonderful find for us. We get 48 small cans at a wonderful BJs price. Cats generally eat a little at a time so the size of these cans is perfect. Also, I get them shipped to my home and have my order within 3-4 max.

I don’t have to carry heavy packages from the store which is a plus, especially as I am getting older. BJs is always my favorite place to shop, has been for close to 30 years. I am lucky to have a couple of BJs close to me.

My cat only likes seafood in the wet cat foods. She was put on a diet because she was too heavy. She has to have 2 cans of wet food and 1/4 cup of dry. She loves the dry food!! She will only eat the seafood so I am very happy with this seafood variety pack.

I would definitely recommend this variety pack and it is great to order online. It always comes in a reasonable amount of time and it is very convenient.

Shocked by this product. in a great way, of course!! When I was pregnant I had horrible morning sickness and every time I went to my parents house my mom would be microwaving her meatless burgers which made me sick every single time.

So my mind has been tortured bc of meatless products. However, I can now say that when I see or think of meatless products, I don’t get nauseated!! And it’s all because of Gardein!!! My now 20 year old son was eager to try Gardein’s tenders and the price was actually affordable so I purchased him a pack.

Most of the time anything meatless or healthy for that matter is so expensive in Florida that I just can’t see paying the price. Especially, bc we lived in California for a few years where healthy food was very affordable to buy and fruits and vegetables were unbelievably inexpensive! Anyway, to my surprise there was no nasty smell when my son cooked the tenders!! They actually smelled good!! And my son loved the taste and eats them regularly now! He just loves them! He cooks them in the pan with a drop of olive oil and it makes a nice crisp outside.

This is the preferred method for him bc he loves the crisp outside and juicy inside unlike the microwave which isn’t bad, just not as good bc it can get soft. And if anyone comes over he gets them to try the tenders too.

There has been only great feedback!! Definitely give yourself or your family something healthier if you can.

I bought the crispy tenders since the product looked so good on packaging and description noted “chick’n breaded with wholesome grains. ” So I expected some form of flaky-like crust and at least some chicken-like flavor.

You get neither! They lack any meaningful taste (chicken or other) which is my biggest complaint, and the consistency is rubbery. I find the packaging very deceiving and suspect they may have fried them to get that coating look.

I will not buy these again. I have continued to try each new gardein product I see in store and zero have been acceptable to buy again which differs from other brands I am trying/eating.

I came across these when I was living in Boston and they were amazing! I have tried other brands and they were in but this one was definitely hands down the best! I always have them stocked in my freezer.

Both myself and my younger sister that is a year younger I got her to try it and now she eats them all the time. I had my meat eating parents, my other meat eating sister and now they are eating them.

I have given them to my meat eating friends and extended family and my boyfriend who when we began dating had never dated anyone that was a vegetarian. When I first made if for him he loved it and continued to ask me to make it in some of the different meals I make with it.

I have explored the Gardein brand and they have some great products but this has to be my #1.

This is the best Salmon I have ever had! It is restaurant qualify! It cooks very fast and depending on the temperature about 8 to 10 minutes. I simply heat a pan and add some butter, then place the Salmon face down.

I let it cook a short while then flip it over and sometimes add a little more butter, seasonings & often a small amount of water (but you don’t have to), then cover the pan and let it cook further. I either serve it on it’s own for dinner, or divide it in two for a pasta-style dish or salad.

It’s very flakey and tastes like butter with almost a similar consistency. There is very little if any fishy taste and it’s just delicious! A 5 star rating from me.

The salmon is quite good and cooks up easily on the stove top. However, from the hosts’ comments, I was expecting the best salmon I have ever had and was somewhat disappointed. I actually would have given this product a 4 star, except for the shrimp.

They had a wonderful crunchy breading, but the shrimp themselves are mushy and the “feel” is off-putting. Won’t order either product again.

I know salmon is good for you and believe me I tried several times before through the years and could not get in down. Read all the reviews and watched the demo for this salmon on gourmet holiday and thought try it and if you don’t like it, you can always return.

QVC’s return policy is great. Just had it delivered and in perfect condition – still frozen when I received it even in this hot weather. Cooked one for myself last night and it was to die for. No fishy taste nor fishy smell.

I spread some mayo on top and used the seasoning that came with it and baked it in my toaster oven. So glad I purchased the auto delivery – this is going to be my dinner once, if not twice, a week. So glad I can eat healthy with this delicious salmon.

My cat is picky- even by cat standards but my cat absolutely LOVES his N&D food. We have this one, the lamb, wild boar amd chicken. My cat enjoys them all. A tip: Since he is picky, usually I open two different cans at a time and serve him some of each.

Once those are finished, I keep doing the same, rotating flavors to keep him from getting bored. We were struggling to find a food he enjoyed because I wanted him to eat the healthiest food possible while he wanted what tasted/smelled the best.

Farmina N&D has managed to create a nutritious food full of hearty protein that meets my standards for ingredients while pleasing his palate. What else can I say? He is eating good food and I’m happy.

By the way, his last vet visit she said he looked great. I agree. His eyes are super bright and clear (a sign of health) and his long, thick coat is noticeably shiny and soft.

I wanted to switch my pets to a better quality food and had tried a couple of other “quality” food but my cats wouldn’t eat it. After doing a lot of research, I decided to try Farmina products. My cats & dogs both get Chicken & Pomegranate dry (Prime for cats, Ancestral Grain for dog) & the cats also get canned (Prime & Ocean).

They all LOVE it! I was initially turned off by the higher price, however each can is packed with food and the tuna products look like human-quality canned tuna and it seems to be more filling. So although the food costs more, I am using less of it, my pets enjoy it and aren’t snacking on as much dry food between meals as they did with other pet food.

The only complaint I have is that I would like to see a larger size can (like the typical 5. 5 oz cans).

His Lordship, after years of eating only poultry, suddenly decided that he is a pescatarian. After much experimentation, I found Farmina N & D and this variety, which is all he will eat in canned food now.

It is unquestionably pricier than the junk cat food in grocery stores, but I’m very pleased to have him eating something other than that nonsense. I will suggest that you break up this food carefully with a fork; almost all of the fish bones I’ve found in it were very soft, but I did find one sharp, large splinter of bone a few months ago (no others since then).

I add a little water to this and mash it thoroughly, and he loves it.
