I have fine, thick hair that is pretty straight but can achieve some waviness if I do things right. Basically, I want products that will give me a piecey/wavy look without weighing down my hair, and this (pretty much) does the trick! I put it in my wet hair, and the results are pretty great! I spritzed the beach babe spray both on top and underneath my hair, then scrunched and finished with a hair dryer diffuser (which I just bought, I think it’s going to change my life).

My hair definitely has a lot more volume, piecey-ness, and waves. This spray didn’t really reduce frizz for me, so you’ll need another product if that’s important to you. However, my hair does feel pretty soft, and it doesn’t have any noticeable smell from the spray.

I will keep this product in my hair care collection for the days I want this kind of style, but this isn’t an everyday product for me personally! this stuff is incredible! OMG. so I use a leave in conditioning spray first on damp hair, then I liberally spray this over it and scrunch it in. I then defuse my hair for added volume and curl enhancement.

I have fine, medium density, low porosity large curls btw. after my hair fully dries it has a slightly crunch to it as its should but a few gentle scrunches and that disappears. I tried it yesterday without the leave in conditioner and it left my hair too dry and gritty.

I know grit/texture is the point of a sea salt spray but I rather not feel that. but so far the curls look a lot better with the leave in conditioner before the spray. as far as im concerned, this is a permanent staple for me now.

This product surprised me. It wasn’t to oily however my long medium thick strands are dry so this gave it a nice sheen while healing it. It was more manageable. It looked nice and lush. The scent was mild.

My hair after a few washes and styling was much healthier than when I started. This product have that nice elegant feel to your hair due to it helping with the dullness plus when I straightened it, it appeared sleek.

Ok so recently I have been obsessed with having my hair in a certain type of style. My hair is naturally wavy but I wanted a product that could enhance those waves and help them look more textured and messy.

I use many different brands of texturizing spray because in my opinion some do give a different result than others. OGX texturing spray has been a brand that I have consistently used for quite some time.

This particular sprays key ingredients are sea salt, sea kelp, and Moroccan argon oil. I like this texture spray because it doesn’t leave my hair looking and feeling to rough or textured. It is more on the subtle side and is great for everyday use.

I don’t have to wash my hair every single time after using it because it doesn’t leave my hair feeling like I sprayed a ton of hair spray in it. I also like that it contains argon oil which helps nourish the hair and keep hair feeling soft.

It is a great affordable texturing spray and I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a texturing spray to use and isn’t quite sure which brand to go for.

Im so glad i did! This is lightweight and definitely texturizing. It also is fantastic for air drying which is what i mostly do during the summer. During this quarantine time, a lot of us are desperate for hair care products to help tame our manes while we wait for salons to open back up. I have a pixie cut that has a curly side and a “fade” side.

So I was very much in need of two different products to address two different hair stylings. I got this texturizing spray, along with the Sea Bum Paste; this product is for my curly side. I had hoped this product would be larger and expected more spray for the price.

As to the product itself, the most notable plus is the smell. It’s everything you’d associate with a “beachy” product and I feel transported to sandy coastlines. This spray does not make my hair feel starchy or brittle which can easily occur with my blonde highlights.

Whether it’s really texturizing my hair is not known. I feel like my hair these days dries naturally into the beachy waves. Because there’s no real feeling to the touch of any product in my hair, it really is difficult to tell how much of the curling my hair is doing is natural or aided by this product.

I am achieving my look though (despite my hair being much longer than I would ever have liked to get to again), so I do want to attribute some of that, at least, to this product. And if nothing else, the smell has me hooked.

I love this sea salt spray and will stick with it now that I’ve tried and tested others. This spray does the job without the stickiness so many other sprays leave on your hair. You can use it on dry or wet hair and it creates nice waves / curls depending on your hair type (it gives nice kinks to my sister’s straighter hair but emphasizes my curls).

When I first got the product, my immediate thought was ‘what do i need this for? Why did I get it?’ You see, my hair is not what you’d say ‘lacks volume’. I’ve always had very thick, curly when wet hair which I straighten most days.

The slightest bit of wet or humidity ruins it. Despite this, I had the product so I thought I’d give it a go. I put 2 pumps on my wet hair straight out of the shower and blow dried it following. The scent is pleasant, though I found it difficult to tell what the fragrance was.

I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. The bottle has no ingredients in terms of fragrance as far as I could see. After blow drying and straightening my hair, I couldn’t help but think I couldn’t really see much of a difference to how it usually looked.

Part of me wondered if it looked a little ‘bouncier’ but then I thought I was probably just looking for any little difference. As the days wore on, my hair seemed to keep straighter than usual, and I found I didn’t need to ‘top up’ on straightening as much as usual, but again, this could still be a coincidence.

Overall, I didn’t dislike the product, I just didn’t feel there was any major difference. However, like I said, this could be due to me not really needing extra bounce. Another thing I did notice though, was that after weeks of my hair becoming really static while straightening, this wasn’t a problem after using this product.

So maybe it does have some benefits after all.

I used to have naturally curly/wavy hair and now after many bleachings the curl pattern has disappeared. But with this product, I can spray a generous amount onto wet coarse hair (after my leave in) and flip my head upside down, scrunch it, and let it air dry.

Man I love the results! This will not leave you with curls so don’t expect that type of hair pattern! It will give you that fresh off the beach salty waves. There won’t be any crunch to your hair and honestly surprising that my hair isn’t a frizzy mess from the air drying but it never is.

I have tried blow drying with a diffuser with this product in and the results are very lackluster so I wouldn’t suggest that route. I also LOVE to spray this is in my hair, comb it through and sleep with 2-4 braids in and when I wake up in the morning and the braids are dry- I comb through my hair with my fingers and get the best texture and wave pattern.

I have naturally wavy/curly hair that I spent years straitening, but now I have embraced the curls. One of my daughter’s friends introduced me to this spray several months ago, and now I use it every day.

First, I apply a volumizing curl mousse, mostly at the roots, then flip my head upside down and spray this all over to make sure I have good coverage. I then lightly scrunch my hair, end to root, then let it air dry while I apply make-up, fix munches, etc.

I then use my diffuser to fluff and define. I absolutely love the results and my hair is not sticky, greasy, or stiff. I will admit, my hair feels a little dry, but I can’t say it is the fault of this spray, but most likely a combination of products, styling processes, and environmental factors.

Don’t expect this to miraculously create curls or waves without a little work to help create them.

I’m glad that it worked so well on others but I won’t ever use it again. My hair has changed somewhat over the years, I used to have naturally curly hair, I began straightening it quite a few years ago and now it’s pretty much just wavy.

I found the Bed head waver a few months ago and I’m loving it, it gives me just the right amount of body to look good with my hair length. Thought I would try this sea salt spray to kind of hold the waves and give it that wavy beachy look.

I sprayed lightly on my already dry wavy hair. By the time I got to work (15 minutes) all my waves were gone and it was a hot mess, looked dirty and greasy. (it was freshly washed) I don’t know what happened but I am so disappointed.

I’ll be staying closed up in my office today! (I gave it the extra star only because I love the smell lol).

Love it! Def adds volume to my hair. I have very long naturally wavy hair (its fine but I have a lot of it). i use this all the time when I straighten my hair for volume. I have not used it on wet hair yet.

How I like to use it is I use it more as almost a dry shampoo/hair spray. Ill spray some in my hands and apply it into the roots for that extra oomph. Or I spray a little into the hands and put a little where I have fly aways.

Adds volume and shine and smells amazing. My only complaint is the way it sprays out. Instead of a mist its more of a big squirt, so I feel like the spray is too wet on my hair, and doesnt spray evenly which is why Ive sprayed it in my hands.

It can be easily fixed by just putting the product in a diff bottle, but it doesnt bother me enough to do that.

The volumizing spray smells the best. Aside from the fact that it is super sticky like a hairspray than a volumizing spray. Leaves hands suuuper sticky but that can be washed off. Once applied on the hair it does leave parts a little hard but matte so you can’t tell it’s there unless you touch it.

Brushing through it is nice because it doesn’t cause flakes or white spots like most hard sprays. Point of all of this. Would I buy this again? Mmmm probably not. Too expensive for what the product is your basically buying the brand name and scent.

This spray will not be able to compete with other salt wave sprays on the market. I’ve used sprays that leave my hair with waves for days. This product leaves small waves for about an hour. My hair is naturally wavy so I was expecting my hair to look different like when I use other sprays, but that’s not the case :/ again, might be a bad bottles sample (bc my initial shipment got sent to the wrong address).

Idk the bundle shampoo / conditioner and spray were underwhelming. Still happy to support these girls in another market, just not with my hair.

As with most of the Brad Mondo products I’ve tried, they all seem to have quality ingredients, great subtle smells, and beautiful, easy to use packaging. I’m certainly no pro when it comes to air drying my hair for “natural waves” because it either takes days to dry if I have it up, or super poofy and inconsistent otherwise.

This product was my hope for a step in the right direction for beautiful waves. Something I have only ever personally achieved with a curling iron. I find there’s something about this that dries out my hair, more than defining and adding texture.

I feel like one of the ingredients contains a form of alcohol so that’s probably why. Or maybe it’s just my hair that doesn’t mesh well with this as it’s already on the dry/damaged end of the spectrum.

I’m going to keep trying, and if I see improvements will rebuy, but so far I’m lost on whether or not it’s actually doing anything. Post more tutorials on your products, please :).

This product is amazing!! I used to use John Freida Beach Blonde Sea Waves, which is my favorite sea salt spray, however. I live in a small town and can not find it anywhere to save my life. I finally found it online AFTER I order Salty.

In an attempt to find a sea spray I could at least live with, I tried OGX sea waves and Verb sea salt spray, both left me without. The OGX smelled amazing but left my hair feeling a bit crunchy in some areas, and Verbs gave me the feel and texture I wanted but has no scent at all.

I am pleased to announce that it is!! This bottle of magic is everything I was looking for, it gives my hair long-lasting flexible hold (no crunchies) and it smells AMAZING!!!! I threw away my FULL bottle of OGX, but kept Verb on backup.

Alright, here’s the thing, I have very fine strands and 3a-3b curls. So, it’s really easy to weigh my hair down. I struggle to find products that are hydrating enough for my curls (some of which are lightened) that also don’t weigh them down.

This! This product! It’s the one. It’s my go-to. I have to say; I have been ridiculously surprised by how much I love this product. I got it with the intention of adding it to my routine here and there just to see how my hair likes sea salt spray, but ultimately to see if it would work for my girlfriend’s hair to help give her some texture.

But, y’all. This is the best product I have put in my hair by far. My curls are bouncy, they’re hydrated, they’re happy and living their xtra lives. I even have less frizz than when I use mousse, it pairs perfectly with my styling oil (will definitely be investing in viper once I’m running low).

All I do is scrunch my oil in, spray some salty into my palm, rub them together, and scrunch it into my hair. Sometimes I also spray a little on, but only when my hair is being especially stubborn. And, it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all.

OH ALSO! It lasts forever. I wash my hair every 7 days, by day 3 or 4 I just need to refresh with some water and maybe spray it once or twice. If I spray it on day 3 or 4, I don’t need to add any that cycle.

And I can’t forget to mention, it smells amazing, but it’s not in your face about it. It’s not overwhelming, it just smells good. It smells like high-end perfume, but without the chemical smell. So I guess it smells like high-end perfume tries to smell.

I have been using this specific product for about 2 years now, and it is in my *Holy grail* collection. Not only does it work wayyyy better than expected, but it has the loveliest scent that’s nice and light and gets me compliments constantly.

My favorite part about Not Your Mothers products is how versatile they can be, depending on the one you choose ofc. is my go to. You can use it on wet, damp or dry hair. For the best results, I suggest using this on damp hair ( Start applying it about a 1/2 inch below your roots so it doesn’t take away from your natural volume, trust me lol) and then “scrunching” it while using your diffuser on a lower heat setting.

I personally like to apply the spray while my hair is flipped upside-down. It just adds to the volume. You honestly can’t go wrong. Also keep in mind that anything with sea salt will work great in flat, straight hair.

I love love love this. I am trying not to wash my hair everyday and to minimize my dry shampoo usage; i have spent many days with hats or bandanas covering the mess in the attempt to balance my hair oils more naturally.

Now? I’m able to refresh my hair no matter what stage. This will add volume and texture while keeping the softness of freshly washed hair, without the icky crunch some products leave behind. Alternately, I am able to use it to refresh my hair with (or without) some dry shampoo without oily residue of some leave in-conditioners.

It smells delicious and is cost efficient!!!!.

I like it, don’t love it. Pleasant beachy scent. Nice spray. Does help with frizz. However, I have fine hair that does not react well to too much product. So if I’m using a texture spray, I need it to help make my style last because I don’t want to have to use hairspray on top of heat protectant and texture spray.

This doesn’t do that.

of all three products I sampled form this range, this was the least effective. That is not to say that it didn’t do the job! It is however, a great alternative to tonging or blow-drying. I did as it stated, simply spray on and scrunch to the required style.

Then go with a head of created waves!!! I did find that I had to use a fair amount on my thick hair, but was rewarded with a long lasting shine. The odour was pleasant and so was the spray. (Not thick or sticky).

I tried this hairspray as a natural alternative to a hairspray I’d bought in cans for years. This one is fantastic. I can tell that my hair is in much better condition, and I prefer the results. No flaking, nice smell and no aerosol either.

I spray on, leave to dry, and then run my fingers through to allow the hair to move naturally. It stands up to humidity and holds the style all day even when I play with my hair, etc. You can use it on wet hair before you blow dry too – so versatile.

I got a short shattered bob, and couldn’t figure out how to make it work until I tried a couple products from this line. My hair is very fine and super straight and I have an oily scalp. It doesn’t hold curl at all, so trying to dry some texture/volume into it doesn’t really hold.

The benefit is that it’s silky soft and shiny- but most products make it crispy, sticky or oily. What I have found works for my hair is this- I use L’occitaine shampoo to wash. It has extra essential oils that soak in when I let it sit for 5 minutes.

After I get out I wrap my hair in a turbie twist while I do my other required grooming (moisturize, makeup, deodorant, perfume) After that’s done, I use the Lavender sea salt spray from this line at the roots on the top, then spritzed throughout on damp hair.

If I use it on dry hair it makes my hair crispy, so damp hair works best. Then I continuously tousle my hair while it air dries- usually on my way to work with the windows down. After my hair is mostly dry, but still cool to the touch, I use a bare touch of the bourbon vanilla tangerine texturizer.

I rub it between my hands, flip my head over and start vigorously rubbing it in and through all of my hair. It gives extra volume and texture to the bottom. If I use it on completely dry hair it makes my hair oily where it’s been applied.

If I use it on completely wet hair it doesn’t do much. I finger comb my bangs into place, gently place anything that’s too wild into place and let it finish drying. It holds in Florida humidity, even on rainy days, for most of the day.

My hair stays touchably soft and healthy, my scalp isn’t grody by the end of the day, and my hair smells great.

I love the smell of this hair mist. I have fine hair which gets greasy quick, so I just use a light mist on the ends of my hair and I can’t use this product when my hair isn’t completely clean as it does add oils.

But I have to wash my hair every day anyway, and I love that it doesn’t dry my hair out. it feels light and healthy, and adds a natural wave.

I have been using Surface Impulse Finishing Spray for years now, and find it to be an excellent product. My hair is short, thick and textured, so it can be difficult finding a spray that will hold in the humidity.

It’s not inexpensive so I was delighted to find on sale. I will continue to use Surface products and hope LovelySkin will continue to stock them.

The Surface Reflect Styling Gel is my personal favorite. I’ve been using it for years and when I’ve substituted something else (when I’m running low/out), I always regret it. I have thick curly hair so I really need product.

This gel gives me great control without being heavy and crunchy. It’s soft, manageable and easily styled. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to stop frizzies, flyaway, and hard to handle hair!.

I was not sure what a “sea salt spray” was until a couple months ago. Since then, I grew quite curious about the benefits of such a spray. Because I had never used a sea salt spray before, I didn’t have any preconceived expectations.

but as always, Forte Series still managed to blow my expectations out of the water. Here is my in-depth review of the product. I hope it helps. The Build: It may sound a little weird, but I really love the build of the bottle itself.

It is very well composed, specifically, the spray nozzle is amazing. The way it sprays is so incredibly smooth, and it’s very well distributed into an extremely fine mist, I’m actually very impressed with it.

It is unlike any spray bottle I’ve used before. Also, after some googling, I discovered that the bottle material is composed of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE 2, it says on the bottom of the bottle).

I’m not sure if it’s the plastic or some some type of coating, but it has a soft and luxurious feel to it. Compared to the pictures on the website, the bottle actually seems smaller in person, but after I opened the bottle, I found that it was filled to the top.

In my experience, hair sprays like these are used quite slowly, so I’m fine with a smaller bottle. The Product Itself: The liquid inside the bottle has a slightly blue-green tint to it, I believe most sea salt sprays have this tint.

This product also has Forte Series’ signature scent infused into it. For some reason, to me, this product’s fragrance has a sweeter scent to it than the other products with Forte Series’ signature scent.

I’m not saying it’s in any way feminine, unpleasant, or overpowering, in fact, I really like it. It’s masculine yet sweet. I’ve received many compliments from others telling me that my “cologne” smelled really good, only for them to find out that it was simply my hair product.

Really impressed with the fragrance. The Application: The Sea Salt Spray itself is a really great product, especially for people with naturally curly/wavy hair, like myself. Usually, when I let my hair air-dry, the curls in my hair seem very artificial.

However, after spraying 3-5 spritzes of this product, my curls looked so effortless, revealing the natural appearance of my hair. The finish is also worth mentioning. It’s a matte finish, but I think it still creates a healthy amount of shine.

either way, I think it looks amazing. Also, similar to most of the other Forte Series products, it provides a noticeable boost in texture. As for volume, lack of volume is no concern for me with my thick and coarse hair type, so I can’t really speak on volume.

But the texture it provides is very nice. To me, the product seems fairly light, so I didn’t find any difficulties with washing it out. The product came out very easily without the need for shampoo. This is a big pro for me since I only shampoo 2-3 times a week, but I condition and rinse everyday.

I absolutely love this Sea Salt Spray. From enhancing the natural waves in my hair, to the mere construction of the bottle, this product is pure quality.

The product it self is truly amazing, and it smells really good. I was expecting to get a compliment on my cologne, but I got a compliment about how my hair smells so good loool Once you apply the product you’ll get that wavy beach look without being able to tell if you have anything in the hair.

I like that a lot! On top of that Forte Series provides a remarkable customer service. They are quick, and they do everything they can to keep their customers happy. Highly recommend this product and brand!!.

Testing this thing for 3 months almost! My hair has more body and texture then other pre stylers! Inhale thick asian hair and it works wonders! I have taken this to my trip to Greece over the summer! I think this is a really good summer spray! It’s not that effective in winter but still good! I combine this with the texture clay and I have received so many compliments about my hair.

I have been using this product for years now. It is an absolute necessity to dealing with my hair. All those mousses and things at chemists are just not anywhere near as good for my hair. Hairdresser used to get it for me but I moved house to a regional area and so the only way I could get this spray was to go online.

I took one star down because it’s more of a texturising spray, it dosen’t dry out the hair as an old fashion sea salt spray would do ( I wanted to dry out my hair a little bit after a procedure ), however, it does a lot of nice things.

It feels more like a light hair spray mixed with dry shampoo, so it adds a bit of grip and texture, but also a bit of powder for volume at the roots or all over. I used it with a blow-dry with a Dyson styler, and it slightly added longevity to the curls plus added volume at the roots ( dried the roots upside down ).

Touching my hair, it feels exactly like a dry shampoo on my roots, so it definitely added texture and volume to it. Hope this helps you :).

This is truly a product that work really, really well if your hair needs a lot of product to keep its shape. A year ago my hairdresser recommended this product. I just purchased my second bottle. Spray it in while hair is still wet.

You must blow dry your hair to notice the difference (I tried letting air dry. I didn’t get the same effect). This product has a very nice smell. Downside: shipping took about 21 days to arrive (Christmas season).

Best pricing was on Walmart’s site.

This stuff is brilliant! No greasy residue and no perfume smell! Takes away the frizz and just leave to dry – easy! Can’t tell there’s any product in my hair either. Perfect!

I love the whole undone line from tresemme and have been using them for years. I can’t believe they discontinued the line and it’s now only available in Canada?! Maybe I’ll have to road trip there (mostly kidding…).

The spray is perfect for people with wavy hair that want some oomph to their hair. It smells luxurious and the results last all day. If I spray it in my hair at night, it still looks nice the next day.

Also, I like how lightweight the packaging is, with a spritzer instead of aerosol.

Pretty good spray for loose waves and messy hair. Definitely recommend if you have a bob and want easy beach waves. I do recommend adding a hair oil before or after because your hair will get dry from the salt.

I do feel like i have to spray a lot to get decent hold but I also have thick hair.

I don’t love this product. I use this hair when I want to have beachy waves and this is probably one of the lowest quality sea salt sprays that I’ve used. In fact, it seems, by texture and scent, that there isn’t much salt in this formula at all.

Yes, this product will help create waves, but I’ve had better results with different salt sprays. I will not repurchase this product upon finishing it. Upon examining the bottle’s claims, it does boast being a lightweight product with no hairspray stickiness, in addition to no salty stiffness.

There are also instructions for how to blow dry your hair to beachy waves and that’s just not what I expect a sea salt spray to do- I want it to work with air drying. This does not do much for air drying.

Be cautious with your expectations of this product.
