I always when I have a choice use this brand San Disk so buying them refurbished saves me money without losing quality. It is an excellent product.

One of these in our 18 megapixel DSLR camera holds a staggering number of full resolution photos. It has enough speed and volume that we can save both RAW and Large JPEGs of each photo simultaneously for further processing, and we don’t run out of room for weeks on end.

So impressed that I bought a second just to experiment with my laptop (emergency boot, sandbox for data files, encrypted storage, etc. ).

Well, this was cheesy of Best Buy. When I added the Thinkware Q800 Pro to my cart, this SD card was suggested to bundle with it at a great discount. The higher capacity seemed like a good idea, and the dash cam does take 128GB cards, but not this one.

Thinkware says it has to be one of theirs, at a much higher price. But I hoped BestBuy wouldnt suggest bundling it if it didnt work I took a risk, I knew. Well, in the dash cam, it worked okay at first, but before long, Id get these messages on startup saying, Memory Card Format Required.

Push a button, and its done in a second, and off you go. But Id lose all the recordings still on the disk. Didnt happen all the time but seemed to more and more, and sometimes multiple times in one start up.

So I switched to the 32GB Thinkware disk that came with the cam no problems since. With these SD disks, there are so many variations. You gotta use the one that works with your device. Good news is the price was cheap, and the card can be used for other storage needs.

Just dont bother using it with the dash cam. Bad on Best Buy for bundling something that doesnt work with the device.

I needed a new SDHC memory card. A 2 GB that came in a Vivitar camera 8 years old cracked. Walmart does not sell the 2GB SD memory cards. I had 3 Vivitar camera. After 9 months Vivitar shut the photo program.

After the shut a camera with a Lithium battery. Vivitar went on my boycott list. I wrote email to Vivitar customer service. When I made comment on Facebook. I saw relied from 6 people with the same model Vivitar camera.

That happened there camera’s to. They were going buy another brand of camera. On Walmart trip a sales women in electric recommend a Fuji camera I had enough left on gift my Dad gave me to a AAA and AAA battery charger and 4 pack of Duracell rechargeable battery.

That was 16 MP camera. The last Vivitar was 8MP. Now I have Nikon Coolpix 20MP for two and half years.

I have had this card plugged into my Toshiba laptop for a few months now, as backup storage for my music. The card has worked without problems and has proved to be fast enough for quickly uploading and error free playback of 320kbps MP3 files.

I think that the card is rated as a Class 4 card, so I dont know if it will prove quick enough for the latest generation of video and still digital cameras. I did try it in my wifes little Canon digital camera and it did seem to work OK with still and video capture but this camera is a couple of years old now.

There were no problems with formatting of the card in either application. It does seem to me that SD cards either work for years without an issue, or that they are faulty straight out of the box or very soon afterwards, so far I have not had a problem with the Sandisk brand at all.

As I have said in other reviews, just make sure that you buy from a reputable dealer and dont end up with a dodgy knock off product very cheap prices are often an indication of a counterfeit product.

There are other reviews on Amazon which discuss how to spot fakes esp. Sandisk SD cards, so browse the reviews for advice. In short this card reliably does what it is supposed to and for a reasonable price.

I bought mine through Jarlink and they have provided good service at a sensible price.

I used this in my Nikon D7000 for around a year. Its been formatted as FAT32 since purchase in June 2012. Everything was going well, we recorded the first days of my sons life on it, all but one of the photos was ok.

Since the images are around 20MB in raw getting a patch of bad blocks means you will probably ruin a few photos as worst. Sadly theyre ruined in a way that makes them totally unusable. This is particularly annoying since Ive not filled the card as much as this in the past, so they were probably dead blocks on arrival but I just hadnt ever used that section before.

Since the card lasted 24 months Im going to give this just two stars and thats due to the pricing. Ive had other cards much smaller than this cycled many many times without problem good work Kingston, even unbranded cards lasted longer.

If Id used this card in a Raspberry Pi or for heavy writes then Id expect a short life, but for light use I dont get much time with the camera Im surprised of such a short life.

Bought 2 of these for my elderly CoolPix P7100, as a back problem is temporarily preventing me from lugging round my full SLR kit. I like to shoot RAWs as well as JPGs and a small capacity card does not cut it for a trip any longer than a weekend.

This purchase gives me almost 3K shots per card and is cheaper than buying older technology. It is perfectly compatible with my camera and acceptance testing confirms there are no problems formatting, saving, copying and deleting files.

The speed is more than enough for me and allows the camera to work to its specification this older model inevitably has some lag when doing HDR multiple shots. Cannot comment on long term reliability, but I have often used SanDisk in the past and never had any problems.

There’s only been one minor issue and unrelated to the card itself — maybe 2 or 3 out of 100 raw images will corrupt or ‘glitch’ with a strong saturated banding effect. I think it’s due to the read speed of the card reader.

The images on the card itself are fine and transfer fine connected directly via USB. Solid card, good price, used in the backup card slot in Nikon Z7II.

These cards are great. I use them on my GH5 up to 200 Mbps and on my UX90 up to 100Mbps. They work great and I have used many with no problems whatsoever. They certainly meet their V30 spec. They do not work on the GH5 at 400Mbps but I wouldn’t expect them to.

At this bit rate you need V60 or V90 cards. For lower bit rates they are perfect and there is no need to pay more.

Kingston is the only brand I’ve used for many years. I’ve never had a problem with one, and I use about 15 per year (I use and store – they also format for reuse). I’ve stuck with Kingston over the course of a few cameras’ lives and have never had to change brands.

Since I now keep the files on the card and rarely reuse, I can’t speak to how well they perform after several formats in this most recent iteration of the card. I have used them with repeated reformatting in the past without any issues.

I use the 32GB size exclusively and don’t recall any experience with anything larger (maybe one 64GB once?). I do know that I’ve never had an issue with any Kingston card, and if I had, I wouldn’t still be using them.

We purchased an LG android phone a while back and had the hardest time trying to add some additional memory on our phone. We tried several brand memory cards and non of them worked properly. They kept crashing the system.

Even our LG phone manual said that their are some memory cards that will not be compatible with LG phones. Decided to purchase this Kingston memory card and so far it works. No issues or crashes within the my LG K31 phone.

We are writing this review in case anyone has any similar issues with their LG mobile phones. If your looking to add additional memory to your phone, this memory card works with LG phones. But please check your manual for GB specifications.

Some phones won’t be able you to upgrade to a larger GB’s memory. For LG K31 mobile phone you can only upgrade to a 32 GB memory card. So far so good. Happy to have found this memory card at a reasonable price.

It’s funny that every time I shop B&H for memory cards, I inevitably end up buying SanDisk. It’s probably due to the fact that I’ve never had a single failure or corrupted card. Because I’m a pro shooter, I have to make sure that I have solid equipment that is reliable.

right down to the memory cards I use. For the money, this card is super fast and will hold a ton of images. When I shoot video, I know that the card will keep up with the camera. so less or zero buffering issues.

I brought this product about a month ago specifically to extend my Nintendo Switch’s storage. Gaming needs a fast and rather large storage: lots of files are loaded or continuously streamed as needed.

This card fits the bill on both accounts. It’s significantly faster than my old 64 GB card I got two years ago and not only I can fit my entire library of games now, but any future games I get throughout the Switch’s lifespan and then some.

Since this is so much storage, even after I retire my Switch (a good 3-4 years from now), I can still use this card in my dashcam, mobile phone or other device. It could easily hold months worth of dashcam footage, my entire music library or all of the photos and videos I have taken.

The Samsung and Sandisk 256GB SD cards were on sale for about the same price. The Sandisk is rated at maximum 17090 readwrite in MBs versus the Samsung Evo Plus at 10090. For only 2 more I tried the Sandisk for its higherrated read speed.

In actual use I cannot say there is a great difference. I would say both cards are very competitive. Subjectively, the 256GB Sandisk seems somewhat faster than the Samsung 64GB card that it replaced.

Since I have rated the Samsung at 5 stars and I am pleased with the Sandisk it also gets 5 stars. They both work fine and you cant go wrong with either.

I bought this as I have a fairly cheap cloudbook with limited storage. I thought I was purchasing to add storage to machine. I had no idea, that this would make my laptop now operate at lightening speed.

I bought this on a deal for 9. 99 wondered if I should have bought higher GB, but not as high quality. Seeing how fast and the huge difference that this has made to the speed of the operating system, am really impressed.

I would definitely buy another. Even if it doesnt get used too much for storage, absolutely worth having for the lightening speed that my laptop is now operating. Very happy.

I tested the speeds of this card using a couple different software, and it honestly works at the speeds it is advertising on the BH website. I cant believe I waited so long before I bought a high speed card, but I was dumb.

I only use this with my DSLR to take pictures for fun when traveling or hiking. I have not tested these on actual video camera or 4K. The cards I had were fine, but this makes my photography more fun.

My timelapses can actually be faster, even though I wont need that often. I havent even used my other SD cards since I bought this one. I think I will only keep them for safety, but probably wont use them often.

Sans Disks products appear to be good quality. Finding out which type of Sans Disk SD Card is the best product to use with my Tascam DP 24 SD Recording Studio is a bit of a minefield as Sans Disk like all other SD Card manufacturers keep changing the namespackaging of their products.

So the SD Cards that are officially recommended by Tascam are either no longer available or have been repackaged. It would be helpful if the manufacturers of SD Cards could make it easier for people like me who are searching for specific Cards by keeping the same specifics and packaging on the SD Cards that have been recommended for use.

Using the wrong SD Card for recording can result in losing many hours of creative work that is unretrievable and impossible to duplicate.

I just recently got a Samsung EVO Select 32 GB and I love it. Im a big picture person so I need lots of storage space and this Samsung memory card is perfect for me. It was very easy to put in my Samsung S9+ and move a lot of my photos and videos to it.

I was surprised by how fast everything transfered to the Samsumg Evo Select from my phones storage. Doing this made more space in my internal storage which made my phone run faster and better. It also gives me reassurance that my memories will be safe.

One feature I really love is that the EVO Select memory cards can withstand hours in seawater and extreme temperatures among other factors that would normally harm a product like this. It is very convenient that it comes with an adapter so you can use the Evo Select in a wider range of devices.

Since I am a picture taking fanatic I love the fact that it can hold up to 9,400 photos! You can record your childs entire kindergarten graduation in HD and still have room for more videos since it can hold up to 5 hours of HD video.

So far, with all the tests that have been applied to this card, here is some of my opinions about this card: [+] The 512 GB is massive, and it should be suitable for most of the things that average users demanded (i.

e. lot of pictures, Netflix series, musics, etc. ) [+] The delivery has done a good job of keeping this card arrives intact. [+] From what I am able to test, my reading and writing speed is both around 75MB/s, which is reasonable consider that the reading port may not be the latest version.

[+] The card that I got seems very decent in build quality (unlike some cases). [+] Card is authentic in brand and real in size, for my card atleast, tested by h2testw (test time: 2 hours, result: No errors in reading or writing) [o] The green color may not be the best for some people.

Personally I consider this is just a tactic Samsung uses (not that big of a deal). [o] Notice that this card is in GB format, not GiB, which means it would be smaller than 512GB when you stuck this chip in your device (GiB is what most of the system uses (except MacOS, they use GB too), and it is in binary; while GB is in decimal, which will lead to 1GB is about 7% smaller than GiB) [x] May disappoint certain people as the price/size ration is not the best one on market.

I Bought a cute little laptop for myself for school, work, and for my kids schooling. What I didn’t realize is that after putting a few pictures on my computer I had no room to do anything else. When I would search the Internet it would allow me to with no problem; but when I would try to download a program it would tell me that I had no room to do so.

After putting the chip in to my computer I transferred All of my photos and all of my computer files to the chip. What it did for me was now I am able to download more programs and I will never run out of space.

I felt like the laptop was no use of me because it would not work when I had no space. But now having this chip in my computer my laptop is able to work again. What’s great about this is that you can put pictures onto this, you can put videos on it, and you can put files on this.

I have given myself so much room and the best part is I still have a huge amount of room left. The other good part about this is that it’s so easy to do. You don’t need instructions to come with it. You just slip the chip into your computer and then start saving files to it.

Then if you want to take the chip out you just take the chip out take it up to the Picture place at the mall or your store and then you can print out your pictures. I also like the fact that I can put this into my phone save all of my pictures off of my phone and all my pictures off my computer and all my pictures off my husbands phone.

So now I have saved all of my pictures and Freed up space on all of my devices.

There are very few options left available for specific types of camera’s. To be able to get such a great deal and be able to extend the life of our side business for a considerable length into the future is a big deal.

We are very appreciative for the great deal and for how well they work!.

Env: development I have used the SanDisk Memory Card many times and it has never failed me. I find this card to be a really good deal. It is sturdy, easy to use, fits well into cameras and just an all around good product.

I love taking pictures and I fill these memory cards up in a short amount of time. You can usually find these memory cards way cheaper than other memory cards and they work just as well. It is worth giving it a try.

There is still the little lock option at the side if you don’t want any pictures erased and it goes into your camera easily. I got one of these that was an 8. 0 GB one, but I soon found out that when you have that much space on a card it is a lot harder to sort through pictures, especially when it comes to printing them.

The 2. 0 is the perfect size GB’s. I will continue to buy these. For the price you can’t beat it. My pictures and videos come out clear and it really works. I would highly recommend using this memory card.

I’ve been taking digital photos since December 2004 when I got my first digital camera as a gift. I have upgraded cameras twice since then, and now have a Nikon DSLR 10MP. The Sandisk 1GB card had more than sufficient memory to hold hundreds of photos with less megapixels.

However, it only holds 145 10MP photos. I take a lot of photos and started portraiture last summer, so I needed a card which would store more. I found a great deal on a competing brand of flash memory cards and ordered one online during a Black Friday sale.

I was very glad I had only made a few photos around the house on it, because nothing would download from this card. I still have to contact the company for a refund, which to me, is a giant hassle, especially since I bought it online and not at a local store.

Lesson learned! I went back to the Sandisk brand! I’d used my 1GB Sandisk flash memory card for over 3,000 photos and never had a problem. I found a deal on a multi-pack of the Sandisk 2GB and bought it.

Once again, Sandisk is reliable and I have no problems storing and downloading my photos with the Sandisk 2GB memory card. I like having two 2GB Sandisk cards instead of one larger card (any electronic product can fail and if one card did, I’d still have one to spare).

The 2GB holds enough photos for a portraiture photo shoot or a one day photo outing. If I ever buy more flash memory cards, I will buy Sandisk. I know I can rely on Sandisk to make a great product.
