Cameras will refuse to switch off until they have done this, so to switch off and remove the card in the next instant will cause a high risk chance of data corruption. then people blame the card, when it is their fault.

Switch off and wait just a few seconds before removing a card. Replace the card with another when the camera is off. Doing this will ensure your cards long life and excellent pictures. Ive never had a problem with SanDisk, but youve got to treat their products properly to get the best out of them, like anything else.

If you are looking for a card with a good reputation, youve just found it.

So I have a lot smaller SD card which is 30MBs, but only 8Gb, so I thought lets upgrade. I bought 2 of the memory cards as were preparing with two cameras for our holiday. Now it was working a charm in our Fujifilm tough camera, no complaints.

BUT I started to use it in my DSLR and Im not so delighted. I was taking pictures of a bicycle race and after 45 continuous shots raw took a couple of seconds until I was able to click again. Obviously, I missed the half of the group.

I was not expecting to be able to take thousands of continuous shots, but I was expecting at least 1015 in a row. It made my life really difficult. Although it reads really easy in the card reader and copies the files real quick, then when I plugged it back to my camera, it came up with an error, like not supported format.

I had to remove the card and put it back, so it worked again. I havent had such thing before with my older SanDisk SD. not sure, whats the matter.

I bought three cards on the same day this one SanDisk Ultra along with a SanDisk Extreme and a SanDisk Extreme Pro. All 32GB. The read and write speeds on a computer are as followsUltra write to card 15 MBs.

Read from card 80 MBsExtreme write to card 37 MBs. Read from card 78 MBsExtreme Pro write to card 50 MBs. Read from card 83 MBs. I tried filming some 4K video on a Panasonic FZ1000, and it works OK on this Ultra card.

That particular camera appears to write at about 12 MBs so there isnt much margin for error. Shooting stills Raw Jpeg about 30MB in total per image at 7FPS on a Canon 80D SLR, I got the followingUltra full speed for the first 19 images, then writes one image per 2.

And the write speeds of the faster cards are quicker in a camera than they are in a computer. But hopefully its useful background info. I would be very unlikely to need more shooting speed that the Ultra can provide.

But would probably stick with Extreme in the future just for that extra security if I ever shoot 4K.

With these I doubled the chip size from what I had before. I also trust SanDisk more and have had good luck with the brand over the years. I did the research for a faster than I had before chip just in case it was needed.

B&H has a wealth of information and reviews so it is easier to make the final choice at a good price. I have to admit that I spend more time thinking about the camera, the settings, and the lighting than I do the chips.

But I did want memory cards that wouldn’t require me to think or worry about that part.

*I rented a few things and left a few reviews I get a little nervous when renting gear. For one this company is in Tennessee and I’m in Jersey so wasn’t sure about shipping time, quality of gear, etc.

Not that it had to be, but the equipment was brand new! Came in a hard box, which I really appreciated for the return shipment didnt have to worry about breaking, and came a day early ensuring I had what I needed.

We had one interaction through email and they were so quick to respond. They make sure you have tape (they actually give you packing tape!!!) the box and return label so literally I just had to drop it off.

Card was recognized as 1TB but no data could be written to it, nor would it format in Windows, Mac or any of my devices. Windows would give an error indicating the card could not be formatted. Trying the SD Formatter utility, the Format would seem to succeed, but If I tried to write a file to it later, the file would seem to be written – however if I ejected and then re-inserted the card, the file would not be there.

Eventually, an error would be shown. MacOS would actually hang during the formatting process, requiring a reboot. My Steam Deck would get stuck on rescuing followed by an error. Trying the KDE Partition Manager in desktop mode, I would get errors as well saying the device was busy.

My Switch simply indicated that the card could not be used. I have another SanDisk card that had no issues. SanDisk needs to actually test their cards before shipping them out, especially for expensive 1TB cards.

The actual camera is great! Great action camera! Already made a video of myself mudding on some trails behind my house just to test it out (planning on using it for YouTube music cover videos) and it looks amazing! Most of the accessories are great as well! However, some of the accessories (for instance, the carrying case) are not GoPro equipment.

They are generic. most of the equipment, although not produced by GoPro, works great with the camera and have already been utilized (I used the chest strap for the mudding video). The carrying case does not hold the GoPro well.

It has a spot to put it but there is about an inch on each side of the GoPro from the walls of the foam. If you are planning on traveling with your GoPro, you’ll want a better case for sure. The extendable arm that comes in the kit has two attachments, one that you screw the GoPro to (works great) and one that was meant to hold a phone (Does NOT work with the GoPro).

I love my go pro. It has been great to take traveling to get footage on any adventure. I never worry about it getting wet or damaged because it is built for the elements. I have gotten some great shots on this thing.

The only downside I have found (which there may be ways around that I have not yet figured out) is that it is hard to get good video quality if there is poor lighting and there isn’t any way to zoom on the camera.

The battery runs out pretty quickly but carrying additional battery packs solves this. Overall great purchase.

My use for this card is for a Raspberry Pi that runs Pi-Hole, Unbound, and PiVPN. The capacity is perhaps too large for my use case, but I was interested in speed, reliability, and longevity. Only time will tell, but the card works flawlessly so far.

One issue for the card was it was the capacity was slightly smaller than my Samsung microSDHC card it was replacing and therefore I couldn’t clone that card to this one. After price matching everyone’s favorite online retailer, the value was there.

Bought this card to go with a new IP security camera. Hopefully the high endurance will give me at least a couple years of worry free service. So far after about two weeks it has been working just fine.

The RescuePRO Deluxe software download activated but I have not had a need to try it out yet. Supposedly it has a one year license. If that is true then the software is pretty worthless to me because I have only needed that kind of software a few times in my life.

Up to 20000 hours sounds like a lot except for something running 24/7/365 is 8760 hours a year.

I bought this for my Nintendo Switch since my 256 GB one was almost already full from screenshots, videos, and games. I initially tried moving all the info from one to the other via my MacBook, but that ended up not working (Switch said it couldn’t recognize the card even though I formatted it on the Switch before trying to move the info), so I just manually moved all the games, screenshots, and videos by switching the two micro SD cards back and forth on my Switch.

Great purchase, plenty of storage even if you like to download movies & music. Used it to upgrade a Galaxy Tab A Lite that was light on internal memory & needed more power to run. Nothing more annoying than constant reminders that your memory is full & the additional tedious task of deleteing things from your memory.

I bought this sd card back in January to store my photos. When I was looking to download to the macbook laptop using an sd card reader it would not work. I then had to transfer to my phone storage and then upload to cloud.

The whole point of an sd card is to keep your phone memory free of photos. I cannot use this anymore so quite disappointed.

SanDisk has been on the market for a long time for a very good reason. The products are well made and I have never had one that caused any issue. Cheaper ones may work, but for important photos and documents that you do not want to loose, I would always recommend Sandisk.

SanDisk are extremely fast exceptional quality Micro SD cards. The 32GB Extreme MicroSD card I bough works beautifully to supplement the internal memory of one of my Android tablets. Also on a side note I bought for my Android phone what I thought was a 128GB version of the SanDisk Extreme Micro SD card on NewEgg and when I got the card it became obvious to me (from the counterfeit packaging and the cards actual performance) that it was not a real SanDisk Memory card.

I purchased this to provide an alternative boot card for my Raspberry Pi 3 Model B. The Raspberry Pi 3 kit I purchased came with a single 16 GB microSD card and I wanted another that was larger since this is the disk for a Pi.

I ran down to a local store and bought a Sunpak 72-in-1 USB card reader which allowed me to do the setup with my Windows 10 desktop PC. I did use the SD adapter and the standard size SD port on the reader.

Windows 10 was super easy to download the NOOBS Lite loader, extract the files from the zip downloaded, and put the files onto the microSD card. While I used the “partition” command of Windows 10 to look at the microSD card format, I did not have to make any actual changes.

All I had to do was to copy the files extracted from the NOOBS download to the microSD card. I swapped out the kit microSD card for this one in the Raspberry Pi and plugged in the power adapter. The Pi came up, did the NOOBS initialization, I set up the WiFi settings so the NOOBS Lite could see the internet, and did an install of Windows 10 IoT which took a while but went fine.

A test program with Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition checked out so it looks like it is all golden.

Highly recommended, even if you’re not doing your own mechanics as there are many other uses for it, like help you save on your fuel consumption, really worth getting, it will pay you back tenfold.

Was having issues with GoPro acting up while recording 4K. Would shut off for no reason. Did some research and other were having similar issues. This card seemed to have one of the fasted read & write speeds, and was very reasonable priced.

Now everything works as it should.

This is almost a steal of a product. 64gb sd card for less than $10 it’s insane. I remember what theses things used to cost. Installed in my Wyze camera, also from Best Buy, and now I have playback for lest than $10 buck.

Bought this item to use in my security cam. The first time I used it, it recorded files, but when I moved the files to my computer, about half of the files disappeared. I used it for a second time in my cam and this time, there were NO files on the card.

So I called customer service and got a busy signal. I chatted with customer service and the lady did everything she could to try to NOT send me a new card, to the point where she was not even reading what I had written correctly and kept talking without waiting for me to finish.

Finally, I got mad and said “oh brother. ” She said, blah blah. And I said, “give me a break. ” Then she told me that I needed to call customer service for help. When I told her that I had already tried and that it was still busy, she suddenly was able to help me and she sent me a new card.

Roll forward and I tried the new card and it worked ok so far. I have only tried it once, but the other card did not work from the get go, so, this one looks more promising. If you don’t mind the hassle, then it is ok to buy.

I just can’t say I recommend it because who knows how long the replacement will work for. By the way, the card says 64 gig but the first card only had 62 gig of space on it. Not a deal breaker, but it should have the amount of space advertised.

It was a pain in the butt copying everything from my 16gb memory card to this one. After everything was copied, my phone wouldn’t save any pictures I took to it and said it was out of memory. I had to move the camera pictures I copied from my old memory card into a new folder to get my phone to save pictures I took.

Once you get it figured out, it works good and does what its supposed to.

I bought the hero 7 Black second hand as it was the cheapest Gopro that does Linear field of view (no fish eye for me). It records well in good light outside but struggles with grainy footage indoors.

Once I’d watched some tutorials about turning on Protune and modifying the settings to suit indoor and outdoor light levels I was impressed with the footage. On auto settings indoors I thought the camera was broken based on the footage! Also make sure you get an approved memory card of the correct speed rating or it’ll never work properly (Gopro website lists the correct cards) Pleased.
