Bought these fins to conserve pa cking space for recent trip to Hawaii. Great fit, however straps tend to loosen with use. Would not trust during open water snorkeling/diving but worked great when snorkeling close to shore.

The sizing is way off. The fins don’t fit. I normally take a size 11. I ordered Mens Large 10-13. The fins are way to tight. Good Value. Good Quality. The reason I checked don’t recommend them is purely for the sizing.

Size L/XL fin paired with Mares size 10 boot. They seem a little short, but work well for multiple kicking techniques including backing up. Stable in the water and can produce a lot of power with low effort.

Sculling okay. I need more practice with sculling and backing up. I can hold stationary well with these fins. Strap came off heel one time during giant stride, even though firmly cinched. Comfortable on heel.

Buckle fell of post easily several times when not on my foot. I like the fins. They are easy kicking and a good transition from my easy-kicking but heavy Mares Raptor split fins (which are also excellent).

I just changed the straps to Tusa TA-81 Fin Spring Straps and anticipate a more secure fit.

Solid fins, bought for 12yo kid, beginner diver and strong snorkeler. Have used almost daily for a month, fins provide effective kicking in both diving & snorkeling and are holding up beautifully to kid ownership.

Love how easy the back straps glide for open/close. Highly recommend.

I mostly dive in the tropics and previously use split fins. I bought the Tusa Solla in preparation for stronger-current waters. These worked out great as basic fins – not too powerful, great control, a bit more flexible than I would’ve liked (i swim more with my ankles and noticed an interesting “whip” in the fins at the end of each flick, which I initially mistook as having nicked something with my fins).

I am a women’s size 7 and bought the XS. The bootie box is a bit broad; I thought fit would be an issue affecting performance in the water, but did not find this to be a problem at all as long as the straps are securely tightened.

Broader box actually made the fins easier to remove at the surface as I get ready to jump back into the boat.

i don’t know what went wrong but unfortunately the fins were the wrong size. i went to some trouble to select ,the right size. to sent them back would cost too much. shame really because they looked quite good.

the mask and snorkel appear to be sound and i look forward to testing them this week end.

Bought these to try out snorkelling before learning to free dive. A friend recommended this style as they’re quite powerful and also really comfortable to wear. They match my wetsuit too which is perfect!.

The fins have arrived in perfect condition, and they are already underwater tested and are wonderful for snorkelling. Nice scrolling with little effort! Fully recommended

Awesome fins for my 7 year old son. They adjust easy and he can don and doff them very easily.

The L/XL fins fit well with booties for 8-yr-old girl. However, the side clips keep coming detached from the fin. Not the strap clip itself, but the swivel part with holes attaching the strap to the sides of the fin.

Easy to adjust. Comfortable. Lite weight. My sons enjoys them. Easy to swim

These were shockingly stiff on my first dive as many have mentioned. I almost gave up on them right away and gave them away to my guide as a tip. The next day I dove with them first instead of second and really enjoyed them/figured them out.

I switched back to my Twin Jet Max’s for the second dive and felt like I had horrible noodles attached to my feet and had zero power. These things are great you just need to give them some time and learn how to work with them not against.

I can tell once I get used to them I’ll never want to use anything else. Great fin for sure!.

Based on other reviews I was ready to hate these for the first few days. I did not hate them, but I didn’t love them either. They feel wide and seem to ‘slip’ sideways at times- I think this is because of the curved wing tips.

After making about 20 dives with them over the week, I’ve decided I do really like them. They are super comfortable. I had no foot fatigue or sore spots even after 3-1 hour dives in a day. The few times I needed to go against the current, my buddy noticed how I seemingly effortlessly glided ahead while he was struggling.

I chose the white ones. When diving with limited visibility my fellow divers noted how they liked that they could pick my fins out of the mist.

I used these fins on a recent trip to Roatan. They were awesome. lightweight and great KICK when you needed it. I’m a recreational diver, with over 200 (warm water) dives logged. I’m not doing anything fancy, but i know what I’m doing.

I’ve had the Oceanic split fins, the mares avanti quattro +, the aqua lung stratos (full foot) and the mares X stream- (i prefer the X stream for snorkeling for what it’s worth) None of them provided the kick that the Seawing Novas gave me.

A well-tried and tested piece of propulsion, used in military and commercial diving. The weakness was always the rubber strap. The only secure way was to adjust to fit and then tape the strap up. The only worry then was a check for perishing.

The spring Straps breathes new life into a well-tried and tested fin. Evaluated against all the newly researched and designed ‘Nova’ 2 fins, taking onboard YouTube video assessments – went firm on the ‘known quantity’! Nice comparison between weight, the ‘Ford 7 or a modern up to date car’, but the final decision was based on a colleague suggesting the Nova 2 fin not so great in a strong current!.

I bought my Jet Fins back in 1984 and have they have never had any problems. From North Carolina coast wreck diving to Galapagos, Truk, Caymans, Soccoro’s, Red Sea, Cooper River and more these fins are known worldwide as quality and durability with controllability and reliability unmatched.

The Jet Fin design is a proven classic. I was issued my first pair in the early 80’s as a Marine Combatant Diver and still use them today. Some things to consider before using these fins are the conditioning required to get the most performance and the negative buoyancy.

These fins are short, broad and stiff compared to modern design and you will be required to be in good swimming condition to get the most out of these. They will “jet” you through the water if you have the strength they demand.

They are excellent for the frog kick and bent leg kick and do not require much strength to do either of those. They are very negative which can prove advantageous when dry suit diving or minimizing weight requirements however can prove to be difficult to master when diving near the bottom without stirring up silt or damaging ecosystems.

I have tried many different fins in my 34 years of experience but somehow never feel comfortable without my trusted Jet Fins. Paired with the ScubaPro Jet Fin Spring Straps and I will continue to use these for the remainder of my dive career.

I haven’t used them yet but I purchased them on a recommendation. I’m normally a size 9-9. 5 so went for the M/L and they were too small if worn with a scubapro 3mm sock. My wife is a size 7 and these fit her perfectly with the sock.

I’ve now got an XL fin and this size is great for me. Good weight and size for travelling – very pleased with them.

I’ve owned a pair of F1s for a couple of years. But most of my diving is really better characterized as “working under water” on archaeological sites in black water Florida rivers. We typically overweight, swim out to the middle of the river, go down a line, remove fins, and excavate (with lights!) pretty much as you would terrestrial sites.

The greater drive of F1s is unnecessary and the size something of a nuisance. So, like several of my colleagues, I bought a pair of F2s. Which came off the first time or two I used them for the short surface swim out to the down line.

Turns out you are supposed to adjust them as needed by changing how the spring-loaded heel keeper fits into its housing. Duh, right? But in my defense my F1s performed fine with the same “largest’ fitting option so I was unprepared to need to make the adjustment on my new F2s.

Happily I didn’t lose one before my slap heads-with-palm moment. Anyhow, they’re the perfect fin for our typical use in confined spaces and over limited distance in waters with little current. The only thing which would make them better would be yellow tips like some F1 models.

I was using the Scuba Pro Go fins and didn’t know any better. Then I borrowed a pair of Hollis F1 LT Fins and I immediately was upset because I knew I had to have these. The speed you get is incredible.

They didn’t alter my profile. I felt like I had so much more control. Yeah, they are just fins, but when you realize you can conserve energy and conserve air while doing so, you’ll see your dive times will improve.

I had 71 minutes on my most recent dive. Up until then I struggled to 45 minutes. Yes, it’s part experience and just practice but I noticed I was able to move in and out of swells or current with a lot less work.

Just be aware that you will leave your buddies behind because when you kick with these you will move super fast. I ended up just modifying my kick to make it take less energy and not leave my buddies behind.

These fins came in super super fast and I love them! They are solid and heavy duty and well built fins for their price!! My girlfriend is going to love them I can?t wait to surprise her with them! My girlfriend is small 5? 1? and lighter so I?m glad these fins are lightweight but still heavy quality so that she won?t have issues with her feet floating above her body a lot! Sizing is appropriate for Men. We bought 12/13 and fit generously. Stiff enough for propulsion and light for travel. Fins long, owner is 6’3 and looked good. Still fit in suitcase. We used for beach snorkel in Hawaii.

Would be better off boat but no issues putting on and off in surf. Price is amazing, especially free freight. These are serious fins, not throw away as price would imply. Have only used for 2 weeks so can’t comment on durability.

Being landlocked in East Tennessee, I dive quarries. I have had more expensive fins that were torn up on the rocky ramps and gravel entrances and exits. My SEAC Propulsion fins have held up well under these conditions.

Very good fins for exercises in the pool and open water diving. Easy to put on and take off. Pleasant color. The fin is medium hard so it has good thrust and good for the reverse frog.

I have been wearing Titmus safety glasses for the last 5 years (my 3rd pair), and this design is a really good one. I work in heavy industry and on high voltage equipment and these glasses have saved my eyes from a number of nasty situations.

I always get the brown transition lenses which is a great asset when working in substations and having to look up to inspect insulators and switches. The frames are lightweight and comfortable even after a 16 hour shift.

I would recommend high index poly-carbonate lenses to keep the lens weight down. With lightweight lenses they dont slide down. I also get all the coatings and have had no problems with lens scratching.

With full time wear, these frames can be expected to last about 3 years before the soft rubber on the side arms begins to break down and make the frames uncomfortable. I give these glasses 5 stars because they are safe, comfortable, and better looking than any other prescription safety glasses out there.

Im very happy with the purchase of my Titmus safety glasses. They provide me with great eye protection for my job. They are sharp looking which is also a great bonus!

Very good, soft fins. They give good speed and comfort at the same time. The arch of the foot does not hurt like in longer and stiffer fins. They are safe, even with a fairly large wave, you know that you can handle it and swim to the shore.

The only drawback – after the season, the connection of materials at the end edge of the fin delaminates. Solution? Buying the same ones :-).

This fit comfortable on your feet but they are stiff as a board. I feel like I have bricks on my feet as I swim. Terrible. I was excited to get them but would not buy them for lap swimming

SUPER FOR EXERCISE, NOT SCUBA, BUT 13 Wide SIZING IS DIFFICULT I used a pair of Aqua Sphere microfins, now discontinued, in my exercise pool for 2 years and loved them. I liked them so well I tried them SCUBA diving in Costa Rica but while they were adequate for level swimming, they were too small on the surface or if I really wanted to go over and look at something.

When I lost one coming out of the ocean, I went looking for a replacement. I am 68 years old, with 13 wide feet that are a hard thing to fit. I ordered, on the theory that all it would cost would be some return postage: NGRFSHXL Sea Horse Fins XL (the box is labeled National Geographic “Snorkeler”) ASRFMH12 AquaSphere Microfin HP 11/12 HEDSFE11 Head Swin Energy Fins 11-12 The Sea Horse Fins fit the best, largely because they have a BIG TOE BOX that doesn’t crimp your toes when a “top of the size range” foot is wedged into them.

They are also the cheapest, and the design has a piece of plastic integrated into the plastic which makes them easier than “all rubber” fins to pull on. They work great. The others are ok, but feel much tighter at the toes on my feet.

Very high quality and such a nice colour. Perfect for sea training.

Great fit, comfortable and they give you legs a great low impact workout while swimming.

I got the atomic blade fins upon recommendation since my go-to scubapro jetfins (the solid rubber ones, not the split fins) were too heavy for diving with a wetsuit. Overall, I like the atomics. They have a much softer foot pocket than the jets, and the pocket is taller, so you don’t have to size up to find a foot pocket that will fit you if you have high arches.

For comparison, my street shoe size is a Women’s 7. 5 US. To get jetfins that fit on my DUI turbo tec boots (integrated boots with the kevlar covering), I had to size up to the XL for the jetfins, but the M fit me fine for the atomics.

The atomics are positively buoyant in freshwater with either the standard clips or spring straps (the jetfins were negative). Spring straps are a must – the buckle clip kept coming loose when I was diving so I switched to the spring straps and haven’t had any issues since then.

Re: propulsion: the Atomics are not heavy as the jetfins, which makes it easier to do a backwards kick than it was with the jetfins. The Atomics are easier to flutter kick with due to the somewhat hinged foot pocket to blade design.

By comparison, however, the jetfins have so much more forward propulsion using frog kicks compared to the atomics.

I have used all 3 atomic fin types. (Spilt, Blade and X1) Overall the SPLIT are great for easy kick with little propulsion moving forward. (7 out of 10) If you get craps id recommend the split fins for easy kicking.

The BLADE fins are a happy medium. They have more power and movement plus better for frog/ helicopter leg kicks. I think these are great just not as much power id like to have in my fins. (8 out of 10) The X-1 fins are Powerful, Flexible and the Priced is very fair.

Personal I frog kick mostly while diving and these are designed for that style of diving. I dive recreational and side-mount but I’ve been told these are great for diving with double as well. Keep in mind they are a lighter fin but natural a bit negatively buoyant.

The foot pocket is a bit large so perhaps one side smaller if you do not dive with a larger neoprene boot or drysuit boot. Overall Score (10/10) Best fin Ive used so fare!.

I just finished a two week diving trip with my new Atomic Blade Fins and am very pleased with them. They are comfortable and fit as indicated in the size chart. I used them for warm water drift diving this trip and swam against to current to grab photographs several times so I believe they will perform in any scuba environment.

This is the first time I have used spring straps and I absolutely love the ability to get my fins on and off so easily. They are comfortable and stay securely in place while diving. I am never going back to standard straps!.

I was a little hesitant to try bungee style fins due to the fact that you can’t adjust the straps. However, these Reaction fins fit immaculately. I wear size 9. 5 – 10 US shoes and purchased the M/L size.

I wear booties and the fins fit snug, but not tight. After diving with the fins once or twice, I have every confidence they’ll never fall off. I did not have to provide any effort to glide through the water as well.

The ease of donning and removing with the bungee straps is a super feature. Easy to get them on or off while shore or boat diving. Highly recommend.

I had Cressi closed fins before – they were snorkelling fins, so I looked into longer fins with a harder blade. I use them for snorkelling and diving, works well. When it’s colder, I wear them with neoprene socks.

Ordered 06/06/2019, received 19/06/2019. Fins are great. My foot size is 42EU (foot 27 cm, high lift). I ordered 42-43EU. And on the bare foot and well, and with a toe of 2 mm neoprene – even more comfortable.

I cannot say I have much experience with fins. In fact, these are my first set. However, they fit and work great. They seem quite stiff out of the water, but in the water seem just about right. They allow me to achieve tremendous speed.

When I try the same swimming strokes without them, I feel like I’m going nowhere. Really looking forward to doing some snorkeling with them in Hawaii, and swimming in more local waters, this summer – so far they’ve only seen pool use!.

I haven’t tried them at sea yet, but they are of excellent quality, comfortable and seem very versatile. Very fast delivery in Slovenia, within the indicated times. Realistic size, as I usually have for sports shoes.

My XXL (USA 13-15, EUR 46-48) full-foot rubber fins more than live up to their promise. Their soft, closed-heel, open-toed pockets provide the snug but non-pinching fit I need to accommodate my oversized feet when I put my drysuit on to snorkel in the cold waters of the North Sea.

Many years ago I purchased a pair of XL (USA 11-13, EUR 44-46) Subgear Jelly fins, which were then based on the same “802” full-foot rubber fin design. While they delivered the comfort and propulsion I craved in an indoor pool, their foot pockets sadly ran too small for sea snorkelling with the extra bulk of exposure-suit footwear.

My new XXL size fins have solved this foot-fitting problem at a stroke! My research leads me to believe that Scubapro full-foot rubber fins are the only “802”-based models to accommodate drysuited feet as long and broad as mine.

The foot pockets come with a generous internal length of 30 centimetres from heel to toe. The blade doesn’t disappoint either. It comes with tall side rails, complemented by a centre rib on the reverse side only.

These reinforcements provide enough flexibility to reduce fatigue during long swims and sufficient rigidity to increase thrust during short dives. They meet the criteria of speed, power, manoeuvrability and endurance we now expect when swimming or snorkelling with fins.

The fins have a classic, streamlined appearance befitting such a tried and tested design. They also weigh much less than many rubber fins of the past. The design of the upper surface and tips of the blade gives the whole product a stylish distinctiveness.

The pocket entry is soft enough for ease of donning, while the sole is sufficiently thick for protection against sharp objects underfoot and features a non-skid textured heel for wet, slippery conditions.

Unlike composite fins made from different materials, all-rubber fins are virtually indestructible during use and their parts will never delaminate. When I swim with these fins, their foot pockets are so comfortable I sometimes forget I am wearing them.

Their blades provide the wherewithal for the gentle style of snorkelling I now prefer in retirement, but they are capable of powering short dives and easing long swims when required. I can only name two possible improvements.

The first is a plea for the heel area of the foot pocket entry to have taller sides, which would benefit people with high insteps and give the rest of us a more snug, secure fit. The second point on my wish list is a request for these Scubapro full-foot rubber snorkelling fins to be made available for purchase within Europein general and the United Kingdom in particular.

I cannot understand why my country is devoid of online and terrestrial retail outlets selling such high-quality all-rubber full-foot fins. As a swimming and snorkelling fin traditionalist, I shouldn’t have to order this Scubapro model from the United States, with all the attendant waiting time, additional shipping costs and import customs dues inevitably resulting from this course of action.

My wife and I purchased these for our trip to Cozumel recently. The rubber is very flexible and they feel great on your feet. They fit inside our carry on luggage as well. Thrust is sufficient and comparable to a pair of my longer fins.

I have been a scuba diver since 1990 and I remember trying these fins from a friend way back then. ScubaPro has a tried and true design here.

I’ve used these swim fins for years. They fit well, remain pliable, are comfortable with bare feet and provide good propulsion for swimming/snorkeling. I use stiffer fins when diving with twin 80’s though, also ScubaPro.

I was a Navy diver and ScubaPro was the brand we used most of the time.

The SF-15 Z3 is a big improvement over the older SF-8 model. The biggest area of improvement is feedback to the diver. These fins are built a little stiffer and longer, which allows you to feel them better as you kick.

As far as split fins go, these are a great pair. As far as Split vs. Paddle goes, there are situations where split fins perform noticeably better. I own multiple pairs of both types, and use each depending on the type of dive.

I use split fins when: warm/open water diving, covering a lot of distance at a fast pace, chasing down moving photo opportunities, swimming against weak ~ moderate currents,.

I ordered these for my 6 yr granddaughter who was spending some time with us before the school year. Unfortunately the fin were too big for her now but we will keep for her to grow into. I was going to send back for an exchange for a smaller size but shipping charges were more than the cost of the fins.

these are great and for a great price but the one size description is incorrect as Aqualung actually offer S, M and L for these. ours arrived as M which was fine but would have been better to say what shoesizes this would fit (M is 7 to 9.
