20 Best Scrub Pants For Men (2023 Updated)

I’ve worn Cherokee 4000 series XXL regular for years because they are comfortable and usually pretty nice for the price. The XXL regular is usually a little short for me I’m just under 6’3. So I decided to try 2 pairs of the XXL tall.

They are way too long and I realize that’s on me. But the finish on the bottom of the legs is terrible (both pairs)! I guess shouldn’t have ordered tall but even so I wonder if they just didn’t finish these? I’m having them hemmed and sewn locally so I can use them I don’t want to hassle with returns.

The material doesn’t feel the same either in my opinion. Anyway, because of the poor finish these will probably be my last Cherokee purchase.

The material is comfortable but very thin. It’s not transparent, just a big adjustment from the jeans I wore previously. Easy to care for and doesn’t require ironing if hung up at the end of the drying cycle.

Definitely will be buying more if the website ever gets them in stock again.

Pant style is a 5 star, available colors is 0 star. Our pest control company uses this pant style for our uniforms in the color Khaki, which Carhart elected to discontinue. Pros: Lightweight but very durable, open pockets are great for carrying varied sized objects, quick drying if they get wet, and the draw string waist band make them comfortable for a large range of body types.

Cons: Latest color runs only offer very dark colors. Our technicians work outside. Black, navy, olive and slate are too hot and show dirt immediately. I cannot express how disappointed we are that Carhart of all companies would drop a classic work color.

Finding a replacement for these excellent pants has been a nightmare for our staff.

My husband has been wearing these exclusively for several years. He really likes the belt loops and the the pockets. I find that they wash beautifully and are very durable. There has been no fading. The fabric is more sustainable than most scrub pants.

All and all we have been pleased and don’t anticipate ever choosing anything else. As long as Carhartt offers them, we will be buying them.

Wore these to work for many years and continued after retirement. I like the ripstop but from carrying a knife or keys in my pocket, they eventually wear through. I carry my phone in the deep side pocket but the depth is barely adequate requiring me to sew some Velcro on the pocket to insure the phone doesn’t slide out when I’m sitting down.

That being said, I’m glad they are still available and I will continue to purchase them. I would recommend them.

I am an older practicing physician. Since January last year, I had changed my attire at work completely from long sleeve shirt with tie and lab coat to wearing scrub daily, a COVID19 fighting attire.

Earlier last year, many online store had run out of supply and I could not get a comfortable scrub after spending a lot of money. Partly, due to my habitus, 5′ 6″ tall and 170 lbs weight, ie, short and overweight.

I found this ideal outfit size L and short inseam and L size top fit me perfectly. I should say, if someone looking for a snugged and slim fit, then should get a size smaller. Carhartt always fit loosely.

4-way stretch fabric is the most comfortable material to wear. There were slots for flash light or pens on the breast pocket and 2 slot on the right hip pocket. There were double cargo pockets on both sides with one zip on the right.

There were loops on the pant and shirt. The design was thoughtful. The triple stitch was signature quality of this brand; quality and tolerance were very high. The waist was stretchy with inside shoe-lace ties, snap button and zip fly.

Love these! Have several sets of carhartt scrubs and these are by far most comfy. Odd that scrubs and beyond has more options than carhartts website but I’m not questioning a good thing

My husband insisted I do not buy him scrubs. He reluctantly tried these on and now they are his favorite. The material is very comfortable. He is a convert and that speaks volumes. We recommend these.

I discovered these pants at a uniform supply shop in town. I tried them on and loved how comfortable and light they were. I wasn’t going to be doing any really dirty stuff like concrete or other construction jobs in them originally.

But they soon became my favorite pants, and I have subjected them to everything my double knee Carhartt pants have endured, and they have held up great after a year of use. Another thing I like is this material, it’s like a pair of boardshorts, they get wet and they dry quickly.

I only had one pair of these originally, and would wash them every day in a five gallon bucket in my bathroom. I could hang them up on the towel rack to dry and in the morning be ready to go, even if I were only sleeping for a few hours.

It’s rough only getting a little sleep and then heading back to work, but you feel a lot better with clean clothes. Anyway, bottom line is, these pants are more than just scrubs, I have several colors now and plan on getting more.

I wear them all day, everyday, even casually they look good, and the girls say my butt looks good in them lol.

I am a chef. The search for the perfect pants to use at work has lasted quite a while. I have tried a little of everything from Chefwear and happy chef to Dickies work pants. Although they are often comfortable, a lot of the offerings from culinary specific brands can be a little ridiculous in style and shape, especially if you are trying to be taken seriously.

I like work specific pants a little more, but they are a bit rigid for a hot kitchen. I ordered these on a whim. So far they have been perfect. They are lighter and more flexible than most “work” pants, and they fit better than almost every pair of “chef” pants I have owned.

I will probably gradually replace all of my pants with these. They are comfortable, sturdy, and a great value.

I do demolition and these are not only comfortable but breathable. They work foe women as well as men. They stay up so I am not pulling them up all day, due to tools weighting them down. I would buy more.

Bought these for my partner. he absolutely loves them. Great material, soft, durable and stylish. Ordering a few more for him. Size ordered was a medium which works for Spring/Summer. Might order Large for colder months so he can put long johns under.

It is not easy to find the scrubs I like but since I found this website and Landau Cargo with elastic waist and fly in 3xl tall in black I know I can click to reorder and in a few days my package will arrive.

I have been wearing Landeau scrubs exclusively for over 10 years. Just can’t beat the quality. I wear black or Caribbean Blue. They hold the color and do not fade or shrink wash after wash. Cargo pants have convenient pockets where I can carry imaging markers, tape, scissors, etc The pants wear forever.

The top is in tunic form, that is, it is a very long style, which is not a mens’ scrub top in my opinion. Also, and far more importantly, is that the angle of the arms off of the trunk of the top is far, far too narrow.

Every time I raise my arms the whole top moves and I feel a lot of resistance. This, like the length of the top, is a unisex pattern, which I did not want. To Medelita’s credit, the tops were on sale, and bait and switch are name of the game when you buy anything online today.

I miss the arm angle of nearly ninety degrees of the old mens’ scrub tops, which are very hard to find. The new upsell mens tops are very, very short sleeves. I might try one of those in the future rather than ever buy what I received, but not after six months of vigorous resistance trying, as your whole arm is out there.

Women run the show in the healthcare world. Although they tend to overlook shortcomings better than their predecessors did,( men ), they can be petty. I am not thin skinned, but I don’t necessarily want to hear it.

The materials were very good and the stitching was excellent. Again, this is a pattern issue, not a construction issue. Medelita seems like they want continued business. I hope you have sustained success.

I love my vista top! I previously had the horizon top (which I absolutely love) and I was excited to try another style. The neckline is classic but somehow more flattering than most, and I’m never worried about it being too low cut.

I usually order an XS which is probably how it is “supposed” to fit, but this time, I sized up to a small just to have a little more room in the shoulders since I move around a lot / do procedures / etc.

I also like that that makes the top a little longer in the back and just not quite as form fitted (still without being sloppy and boxy!). I’m 5’4″, roughly 130 lbs, and usually wear an XS or a 2 in most tops.

Also, the embroidery is FLAWLESS. Definitely get your tops embroidered. They look so sharp and professional. Truly nicer embroidery than any other company.

I absolutely love my Vista Scrub Top! The material is super soft, comfy, and keeps me cool. My favorite part is the top pocket. As a female surgeon, I often tuck my scrub top into my pants, so it is crucial to have an upper pocket to hold my pen and notepad.

I really like the feel and stretch of the fabric. They wear well but the pants are extremely baggy. I realize you have to bend and move and I’m not looking for a yoga fit but they’re just too big in the legs.

I’m middle aged, fit male. I had to get them altered. The seamstress said because of the fabric, they were ‘easy’ to alter and still look good.

I really love these! The tall size is proper tall! I’m 196cm and if I’m not wearing shoes they drag on the floor! The pockets are very deep. Zip is strong and high quality. Leg pockets only on the right side, could be annoying if you are a lefty.

I found the waist slightly big but the drawstring compensates well.

I bought 4 pairs and like them so much, I ordered 4 more pairs. At the price, you can’t go wrong. I no longer work in nursing due to disability, but love to wear scrub pants in the summer because they are lightweight.

According to the size chart, I should be a large. I found the large unwearable and the XL too fitted considering that the fabric has some stretch but not as much as I’d like, so I opted for the 2XL. I do realize that part of the Figs idea is that they are more tailored and stylish than run of the mill scrubs, but this was a pretty wild size discrepancy from what I expected considering that other scrubs I’m issued are baggy in a large and unwearably big in an XL, let alone a 2XL.

Considering how slim these run, I’d also like to see larger sizes available, as o have colleagues larger than me who cannot wear Figs (as the URL suggests) at all. At 6’ tall, I also found the regular length slightly too long, at risk of being cumbersome, or worse, picking up fluids from the floor.

Ultimate, it took me three orders and two returns to find the size that fits me properly. After finding the size that fits, I will say these are very well made, comfortable, and launder well. It just was far too cumbersome to make multiple orders and returns to find the appropriate size, which significantly conflicted with the size chart.

I worry about the waste that may arise from so many returns due to poorly communicated sizing. I have multiple colleagues who also have returned multiple sizes of Figs. This must be addressed, as should the deficit of inclusive sizes at the top end.

If the scrubs you require are part of the “Core” scrubs, then this review won’t mean anything to you. Honestly, I love the feel and fit of the scrubs. HOWEVER, the most frustrating part of FIGS scrubs? They never keep a good inventory of any of the fleeting scrub colors that happen to be some of their best-looking scrubs.

So if thinking of supplying your practice or workforce with these scrubs, BUYER BEWARE!!! I bought some of the limited-edition scrubs on sale- decided to try different pant size because the size I always used wasn’t quite perfect.

Turns out the new size was even worse. I attempted to exchange for a different size and fell prey to the “fine print” that I couldn’t exchange those particular ones due to the “flash sale terms”. So I offered to buy more at full price so that I could at least match and wear the tops that I had bought that do fit.

Nope, sale ended, so magically all the inventory vanished from the face of the earth. What company doesn’t find a way to make it work when you are trying to give them more money? Search your warehouse! Search your inventory! Something! Take my money! Nope, sorry, they don’t have the inventory.

Thus is the most frustrating part of the FIGS-scrubs relationship. I otherwise had found scrubs that I could have had a long-lasting relationship with and brought my practice along for the ride. Such a shame! It is like breaking up with the significant other that had soooo much potential but just had the one MAJOR flaw that you couldn’t overlook.

Love the CORE colors? Great. Want other colors? Don’t expect anything in return. Now we are not even returning each other’s texts. *Face palm*.

These are solid scrubs. Comfortable, and so far, they appear to be durable. Pockets are functional, located well, and the waistband is comfortable. My only complaint is the length options. I am 6’2”, 185 pounds.

I prefer my scrub pants not be tight so I went with the large/regular length. I have an actual inseam of 36”, I wear 32 to 34 inseam jeans and the large / regular length was too long. The website indicates an inseam of 32-33.

So I went with the large/short length. Problem is there is at least a three inch difference in length. Why such a large jump? So my scrub pants are “high-waters”, but at least they don’t drag on the floor.

When I spoke with a representative she said I could have them tailored. This is true, but with Figs being on the pricier end of scrubs, I would expect not to have additional work done after purchase, particularly when competing brands do not have this issue.

Great material. Very comfortable. I ordered a Medium Short and it was still a little long but it didn’t drag. I’m only 5’-7”. I don’t have the static buildup with this material although I would be cautious if you are a respiratory tech.

I still love this pants.

Very nice material. I like having a zipper and the drawstring is a nice durable quality. Also, I own another set of same brand/style and the color is holding up very well despite ongoing washings. I expect this one to hold up just the same.

Husband loves these pants! They fit beautifully and look more tailored than other scrubs. The pewter is a nice color.

Really love my new scrubs. Ultra comfortable and easy to work in. My previous Dickies scrubs looked washed out and faded after a couple of months. My Wonderwink W123 scrubs are great. They haven’t faded at all and absolutely don’t need ironing.

I’m ready to order some more.

The fabric is quite thin. It feels reasonably quality but just felt like it was a flapping in the wind a bit.
