20 Best Scrub For Oily Skin (2023 Updated)

I highly doubt you will be disappointed with this product. I used to use Clinique’s 7-day scrub, and I always was satisfied with it’s results, but stopped using it 3-4 years ago because I couldn’t stomach the micro-plastic exfoliants and hyper-formulated composition.

It has been difficult finding a replacement. Not only does this scrub go beyond other drugstore products like St. Ives by using a more clever, more gentle exfoliant than walnut shells, but it leaves the skin happily moisturized and balanced.

The coconut exfoliant is finer and not as abrasive as walnuts while also doing a better job than oatmeal or other softer exfoliators that don’t seem to do the whole job. I could probably exfoliate every other day with this, but I do every third day.

Best thing is, you don’t have to follow up with another cleanser, and the bottle is a decent size — I only use a large pea sized amount each time and the gooey nature of the scrub keeps it from dripping off fingers which means you don’t lose product! I wish the packaging was more eco-friendly, but there aren’t many other options currently, so I understand; at least the outer packaging is recycled paper.

Plus, the products (outside of the packaging, go figure) are Made in the USA, so we’re supporting local businesses and keeping transportation costs low!! I just got the cleanser from this brand so let’s hope for the best there too!.

This is my absolute favorite part of my “getting skin ready” routine. This is known as the GSR. This has magnesium crystals in the Polish. It totally polishes your face to get ready for your next step which would be the toner, but if you don’t have the toner that’s fine.

I recommend this product to anyone. There is a light scent. But I am highly sensitive and I use only these products and there is no reaction because of the way he scientifically created this. It is a beautiful scent.

It does have a coarse texture but it smooths out immediately. I always use a little scoop of it I make it last at least three months before I go back to get my Botox maybe four months tops and I mix it in with my hydrating cleanser.

If I don’t have their hydrating for some chance any cleanser will do but it’s such an important clean your pores and prepare for your serum‘s or vitamin C As I use in the am. Sometimes I also use it on my body because it just refreshes the skin so fantastically.

It is the best morning wake up in the world. This is my holy Grail of all holy grail‘s in the morning I this is a beautiful exfoliating polish with a gorgeous consistency. I will continue to purchase this.

I actually have my appointment in two weeks and from there I always purchase my products and this is on the top of my list and I buy two of you because I love it that much highly recommend call my being and I have the most sensitive skin ever.

I’ve been searching for an exfoliater with oatmeal as its main ingredient for a long time and when I finally found this, I immediately purchased it. I love its oaty vanilla smell and the grainy and yet creamy texture.

It worked on my combination normal to dry skin. Feeling cleansed and moisturised at the same time. My skin didn’t fell dry or tight after using this product. Too bad it has been out of stock for quite some time.

Not sure if Sephora has discontinued supplying this product. I hope it’ll be in stock soon!.

This is the best exfoliant I’ve ever felt on my skin. I have very sensitive acne prone skin. This scrub feels like silk while it also has very small abrasive grains that refine the surface of skin like sandpaper.

In the best feeling way! It feels like it calms my skin while reducing pore size, redness and makes texture and fine lines smoother. The antioxidants also boost my brightness and tone evenness. Overall, wouldn’t use another exfoliant and my skin thanks me for it!.

I received a sample size of the Cranberry Gommage and thought-what a weird name-but it smells good, so I’ll try it. Let’s just say I have repurchased 3-4 times since then, and I stock up whenever a discount is offered on prestige brands.

Why? Because this is the ONLY product that had an immediate, noticeable effect on my pores-specifically on my nose. I actually didn’t think it was possible to reduce pore size, and the look of my nose has always bothered me (I equate it to the look of a strawberry).

I have tried other scrubs and polishes (one from a Beverly Hills dermatologist), but never had the results that I get from this Arcona product. And yes, I know it’s expensive, but I use it mainly on the large pore areas of my face.

Bottom line-noticeable results: The pores on the upper half of my nose practically disappear, and the pores on the lower half are greatly reduced.

I received a sample of the Pevonia Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser with purchase of a different item. After using the sample, I purchased this gentle cleanser from Beautifiedyou. This gentle cleanser leaves my combination skin feeling soft without clogging pores.

Also, it cleanses my pores so I don’t have acne breakouts. I recommend this product for aging/dry and acne skin type.

Unfortunately, this did not work for my sensitive break-out prone skin and gave me the worst acne break-out I’ve had in years. I second that it does smell really good (I’m a coffee lover) and feels nice on the skin, and I liked using it the first few times.

but then I got a couple of breakout that then quickly spread to places I hadn’t broken out in years. This and the CHOCOLATE CHARCOAL CHAI SOAP BAR were the first new products I’ve introduced to my skin in a long time as I usually The Ordinary but loved the zero waste concept of UpCycle so much I thought I’d give it a go.

Therefore I can only assume they are what caused the breakout. I went back to The Ordinary and my skin is much better again. I spoke to a dermatologist who reminded me to NOT use scrubbing or foaming product on my type of skin not matter how nice it feels.

I am really surprised this is recommended for acne but happy it is working for others though. Compared to many other brands UpCycle does not offer a return when a product does not work for you at all, and/or causes a reaction.

I also found this disappointing.

I found it funny when it said to vigorously shake the product to mix, because it’s basically a very thick paste. It doesn’t take much to scrub away dead skin and leave your skin feeling very soft and moisturized.

Again, I’m very happy with the product. I have aging skin and did not find it too harsh as some people mentioned. However, it comes in a horrible metal tube and, like a mentioned, the scrub is very thick, so the first time I used it, too much of the product squirted out of the tube.

The second time I used it, the end of the back end of the tube busted open, so I ended up using it a few more times, squirting the scrub out of the opposite end of the tube while trying not to cut myself on the sharp metal.

I only wish that this came in a tub so you could easily scoop out the appropriate amount. If I purchase this again, I will probably empty it into a different container.

I reach for this detox scrub every morning. It’s a permanent part of my routine now. My skin is extremely smooth and soft. The container the product comes in is reusable which I love! And it’s adorable, that doesn’t hurt.

The scrub doesn’t have an overhwleming scent. It’s natural and feels amazing when massaging into my face and neck. I also like to scrub my hands with the it as well. The winter months cause my skin to become dry and cracked.

Between using this scrub and the High Society facial oil, my face and hands are soft and hydrated! 10/10 I highly recommend Zen Out Of Ten!.

I purchased these two products in a specials pack along with the Endless Youth Mousse Mask and Endless Youth Cleanser. WOW! This range is fabulous and suits my skin type the best of all the Mirenesse products – even though all of them are fantastic.

It is now so hard to choose between them. Previously I was using a combination of Power Lift and Power Clear, but the Endless Youth is even better. After only two weeks I have noticed such a difference in the tone and quality of my skin.

I have a couple of small brown marks on my face, one on my cheek and one on my jawline thanks to a hormonal imbalance, they have never faded and foundation doesnt really hide them. Now I am noticing that they are not quite so obvious, both with my “home” face (no makeup) and under foundation.

My skin feels soft, smooth and has a lovely glow, which I have never had before, my complexion has always been a bit sallow and dull despite exfoliating and spending $100s on facials, lotions and potions.

The cleanser, to me, feels as though it is also working as an exfoliate, the only thing it doesnt quite remove is my mascara but I have other great Mirenesse products for that. The night lotion feels great on my skin and really soaks in, so that the next day I wake up and my skin looks soft and dewy – a first for me.

With the use of the day serum I have found my foundation goes on so smoothly and yet my skin doesnt feel dried out at the end of the day. I also absolutely adore the Mousse Mask and makes my skin feel revived, squeaky clean and tingly fresh.

All this on a face that is now 50+. Gasp! Thank you Mirenesse, yet another fabulous range of skincare. Highly recommended and I know now I will never shop anywhere else. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I have only been using this product for a short time, but am very impressed with the changes I have seen so far. It has a definite firming affect and brightens my aging skin. I am hoping with a little more time, it will lighten some of the age spots.

My skin is quite sensitive and I find it hard to find a cleanser. Most cleansers dry my skin out or don’t feel they clean enough. With the Magic beads I can made a paste to exfoliate or thin it out for a quick clean.

Once I have cleaned my skin I don’t have to rush to moisturise. Making it the best I have ever used.

Been using this product for years. Has evened my skin tone and works well to hydrate the dry spots without making the oily spots oilier. I feel like I’m getting less product in the newer package design for the same amount of money, but I wouldn’t think to switch as this product works great for me.

I get so many compliments on my skin and a lot of people think I am 15 years younger than I am. They always ask my secret…while I can attribute some to genes and my lifestyle (hydration and sunscreen) a big part is using this product.

I loved the old formula for this product, it made my skin look glowing and felt moisturizing. The current product with the new formula is watery thin, it does not prove enough moisture, and I am very confused why this is the direction R and F took this product.

In addition, it is less volume which is a big disappointment given that you need to apply more because of the watery consistency.

It seems that the ingredients have changed in a few of the the products and are not as effective. I continue to get more breakouts when using the blemish purple collection which was a waste of money and has been the last 2 times I’ve purchased so I switched to Reverse Blemish control which has been only moderately helpful.

I have been using Plum Green tea facewash for more than 3 months now. I have a combination skin type which also becomes dry in winters. Overall the product is quite Good. I have used a few facewash before but all of them caused my skin either to be oily causing pimples or too dry; but this one controls excess oil, pimples and acne.

I do not have a strict skin cleansing routine, but after using it for these months I found positive results and also a more glowing skin. Although it caused my skin to be a bit dry especially in winters, but I felt it works great in summer and monsoon seasons.

Moreover, the gel consistency is good which is not very runny and the lather is great too although I am not a fan of beads. Also, the smell doesn’t bother me. Thank You!.

I don’t give exaggerated reviews. The truth is, after one use your face looks and feels amazing. I have been wearing makeup all summer and this summer has been super hot and human, so, I got a lot of blackheads from using those oil sheets -never again.

and I started using this scrub again -bc I already knew it was great but needed to restock and after the first use, my black heads were less and my skin was youthful, smooth and less texture-y. I use it not just as a scrub, but also as a regular face wash.

If I don’t want to scrub my face again that same day, I rub the product between my hands until the sugar clumps melt and it’s just a lather and I wash my face with it. I also use the detox thingy from teami and it works wonderfully.

Teami just works! I want to get the teami spot cream but I haven’t seen it on here.

This is my second time purchasing this item. I LOVE this facial scrub! It smells delicious, like green tea (of course). The scent is natural and NOT overpowering. The granules in this scrub are exfoliating without being abrasive–only be certain to dampen your face before using, or the scrub WILL grate your skin uncomfortably.

This scrub starts as moist clay and becomes frothy as you apply and massage, finally becoming a mask IF you leave it on your face. The exfoliating granules dissolve as you massage/rub. It rinses well, leaving your skin soft and not overly dry.

I highly recommend this facial scrub!.

I’m amazed by this product- and the Green Tea mask. I have terrible dry and sensitive skin. Even the majority of “dermatologist recommended” products are not moisturizing enough for my skin let alone work with my skins outrageously sensitive side.

After 30 some years of trying hundreds and hundreds of different products I’ve found a huge WIN with this line. I use the facial scrub one maybe two times a week and I use the mask whenever my skin feels as though it is not absorbing lotion as well.

Even in the winter! I have NO reaction to either product and love how soft it makes my skin- it honestly feels healthier and I swear it absorbs my topical medications and lotions so much faster and better.

It is so gentle on my dry sensitive skin and improves appearance and texture.

I’ve been using this every day for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! As a skincare addict, I’ve used a few other powder cleansers before, and this one has surpassed my expectations. My skin is on the dry side in winter so I always opt for more hydrating products.

I’ve been using the Milkfoliant as my second cleanser after my oil and my skin always feels so smooth and soft when I rinse. I love the blend of coconut milk, oat bran and AHA/BHA’s, it’s a match made in heaven for even the most sensitive of skin! I was kindly gifted this to try (lucky me!) but I have loved it so much that I went out and bought one for my mum too – she is 70 and has sensitive skin and has absolutely loved adding it into her routine as well! The only down side of a powder is that it can get messy / is hard to use in the shower, but I just put the lid on and off quickly and keep it away from the running water and haven’t had any problems.

The benefits far outweigh the small challenge in my opinion! I really can’t recommend this product enough, especially to anyone who struggles with dry, rough, irritated or sensitive skin.

I’m not one to exfoliate regularly due to my sensitive skin but have quickly fallen in love with Dermalogica’s Daily Milkfoliant. It’s important for me to use products that aren’t too irritating on my skin and the gentle calming formula of this product is just what my skin needs.

I’ve been trialing this product once a week after cleansing and the results have been amazing. Only a small amount of powder is needed to create a unique nourishing lather that feels like heaven on my skin.

I’m able to massage it in without worrying that it’s too harsh and my skin doesn’t look red or feel too dry after using it. Instantly my skin looks and feels more healthy. It’s texture is smoother and it’s appearance is more vibrant.

For what this it, it is ok. Could be more viscous or “slippery” if you will. However, most men do not require exfoliation because shaving provides all the exfoliation that a man should need. So if you shave frequently I would skip this.

If you shave infrequently then a more viscous formula would be better for stubble. This is why I liked [the now discontinued] Working Man’s Face wash because it was viscous and had more exfoliating beads than the current face wash.

So they tried to split one product into 2, and unsuccessfully IMHO.

I bought this a second time to give it a second chance, there won’t be a third. I was looking for an afternoon/evening (application during shower only, not sink) face soap as I like to stick pretty closely to the “morning” part of the DC orange face scrub.

(which by the way has also seemed to have changed formula for a slight degradation in quality over the past year or so). But this stuff didn’t have the right ratio in the first version I tried and doesn’t have it in this second version either.

The cream does not apply very well and most usually ends up slipping into the drain before you can apply it. Rinse/Repeat? No.

Bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas along with the energizing cleanser and he loves it. It has just enough texture to use 1-2 times a week or as needed before shaving. He said it has helped with the aftershave bumps and doesn’t compare to other scrubs he as used before as far as his skin.

Korean skincare always seems to be so innovative. And while the prices of brands like Tony Moly or Skinfood might seem a little more expensive than drugstore products, the cost actually ends up being similar due to the concentrated nature of the products.

Like with this cleanser, a little goes a long way. Same could be said of any other Korean skincare brand of cleanser I have tried. You get more uses out of one tube than what you do with other brands.

The way this cleanser starts out as a scrub then transforms into a rich leathery cleanser is so neat. You end up getting two products in one. And the scrub is highly exfoliating without being harsh. It takes very little of the product to cover your entire face.

The consistency is very thick and clings to your skin. It doesn’t run off your face the minute you apply it. I use this daily. I have extremely sensitive skin and have cystic acne from time to time. This does not irritate my skin.

Will purchase again.

This Vichy Normaderm Phytosolution Purifying Cleansing Gel is absolutely amazing. I don’t know why it’s not raved about it should be! It’s got salicylic acid, copper, minerals other good for skin ingredients.

On to top of it it’s got a lovely foam but not stripping at all it’s gentle, I assume this has something to do with the ph. My face feels so clean and smooth after. It has a fragrance but this is the last thing on the ingredients list so it wouldn’t be irritating, plus it smells so good :)).

Has absolutely no scrubbing power at all. Really they shouldn’t be selling this as a scrub (which is what I bought it for) since it is basically a face wash that you can leave on and call it a “mask”.

Just be aware it has barely any cleaning power, and is way too slippy and slidey with what scrubbing power it has since it feels a bit like hair conditioner with a few scrubbing bits in there. Doesn’t really get in to the skin and clean at all.

If you want a super mild face wash that leaves a silicone residue, then get this.

I can’t believe I JUST recently discovered this brand and these amazing body scrubs!! I usually don’t venture much in Ulta Beauty, since I usually only shop in a few sections, on the same side of the store.

which has all the prestige brands I used, so it’s usually to restock. I recently saw these on the app, and favorited them. then I decided to look for them when I go into the store. and boy oh boy. it was love at first sniff.

since I smell everything. I bought 2 the first time, although, I love most of the scented body scrubs from this line, but I picked my 2 favorite. which is this one, and the Coconut Lime. The other seem to have very fainted scent.

or the scent isn’t very appealing. I used them for the first time last night in the shower. I love how little I need, and how gritty it is, which works as a great exfoliator, but isn’t harsh on my skin.

I’ve had other body scrubs that literally give me the light scratches marks on my skin after I rinsed off. and it doesn’t even leave my skin as heavenly as this one! I’ve used other more expensive scrubs–which works well, but this body scrubs, seem to surpassed them.

I literally went back to the store, and STOCK UP. I think I have enough supplies to last me through the entire year, given I shower everyday, and most likely used this daily also, since it’s gentle enough for daily use.

I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND THESE BODY SCRUBS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Would totally recommend these amazing body scrubs to anyone and everyone. Can’t beat the price point and quality of this product.

I started getting into the Tree Hut scrub craze, not by watching Tikt*k, but by a random search one night and reading all the good reviews! That one scrub has led to a mini collection of 6 different ones, with more on the way!! This one though, has to be one of my top favorites out of all of them so far, and that’s saying a lot because Tree Hut is known for their delicious scents~~ umm, fruit-loop-scented body scrub with just a *hint* of coconut!? Yes please!! It may sound like an odd combination, but trust me when I say if you have this one one available in your area, I would get it while you can!! My favorite!!.
