20 Best Scroll Saw Under 200 (2023 Updated)

I think this is a great saw. Easy to install blades, which is important to me. It has a great table area to work on, and is nice and heavy to avoid vibrations. Unfortunately, it was delivered with the hose unattached.

I tried everything iI could, including calling the manufacture, but I could not re-attach the hose. I had to send it back. The people at Tyler Tool were SUPER!!!! I will probably order another one from Tyler.

Problems: Assembly directions are a joke. Don’t bother reading them, just forge ahead. For the price they charge, the saw should come with a light attached, not as an after market purchase. I can guess why it doesn’t have one, but I still wish it had a vacuum port.

It would make clean up a lot easier. In spite of all this, it still is a lot better saw than my old Skill Scroll Saw, and I would recommend it to others.

Setup was straight forward. The manual answered any questions. There is no lube mentioned in the manual, I would think that there should be some required. This is an upgrade for me and quite a pleasant one.

The hold down foot needs a little reforming to get better centering on the blade and the blade clamping screws were smoothed with a stone because of some comments in other reviews.

Had a cheaper saw and thought it was fine till I got this now I don’t know how I got a long without it. As some really good features and is really nearly vibration free. The blades are really easy to change and with upper arm able to raises easy to inset blade in hole for interior cuts.

All in all, best saw I ever purchased.

I used this saw for some pretty imprecise cutting (knife handles) for maybe 10 times before it simply quit working. I had bought some quality un-pinned blades and installed the blade adapters supplied with the machine.

That was an improvement. As others had said, the cutting does not track very well, but you can get the hang of it if you go very slow. Regardless, in the middle of a knife handle project, it just quit.

I had this more than 90 days, so returning was out of the question. I took it apart and found out the motor did work, but it was not balanced very well and jumped around when I supplied power to the motor – the reason for much of the saw’s vibration.

To continue with the diagnosis, the only part that could have failed was the circuit board which is not available for replacement. I think I’ll just wire it directly, use a foot pedal, and see how that goes.

I would not recommend buying this scroll saw because of the significant number of 1 and 2 star reviews and the fact that it often breaks. I give cheap machines a lot of slack and expect it not to be high quality, but if it won’t even run and parts are not available, it falls below my expectations.

I’ve been crafting for a couple of years and started working on the cherished dollhouse I’ve had since losing him. This scroll saw is a game changer for me and I wish I’d had it back when I started. I still have to get used to using it but it works great so far.

it has a decent weight to it and will be perfect once I mount it (still redoing my work area to accommodate all of my new power tools, including a new table saw also purchased from Harbor Freight). The only slight flaw that I’ve noticed so far is that it’s been a bit difficult to properly stabilize the foot.

I’ll figure it out and it may just need an additional washer. At any rate, it’s not significant enough to take any bit of a star off of my rating. it’s more than likely “operator error” anyway! I’m new to woodworking & wanted a scroll saw. This one was affordable when I originally bought it in 2020. However, I do NOT like the pinned blades. I know there’s an adapter but I’ve yet to figure it out properly.

It’s now bolted down to a stand I repurposed from an old computer desk but the vibration is insane. I had to weight the desk down with cement blocks. TBH, it worked BETTER when it was just sitting on top of an old heavy folding table and wasn’t bolted.

It’s become very noisy and I don’t get good cuts now. Not saying that it’s a problem with the saw but just be aware of what type of stand you put it on. I will probably end up getting a metal stand like I have my band saw on.

Very easy to operate after learning the first few steps of operation. Used it 3 hours today and the only problem I had was getting the stock blade that came in the saw to release. Replaced the stock blade with an Olsen PG #3 blade, cut with the same blade for today’s project.

Cut 4/4 poplar very well. Shipping was relatively fast, it arrived in excellent condition. Really like the foot pedal control. Plan to start learning intarsia and this saw seems to have enough power for that.

All in all, very happy with the purchase so far.

I ordered the Bucktool scroll saw not knowing exactly what to expect, due to the lack of reviews. I must say that the product description is spot-on when it uses words like smooth, quiet, user-friendly, and heavy-duty.

Smooth – The Bucktool scroll saw came out of the box ready to work. I’ve used scroll saws in the past that have a rattle to their mechanics, but this saw ran vibration free. Quiet – I was surprised by the low operating volume of this unit.

The saw actually seemed to run quieter the faster I sped it up. User-friendly – I’m not one to pull out a new tool and immediately open the instruction manual. one could argue I should. With the Bucktool scroll saw, I took it out of the box and was immediately able to set up the saw to cut.

The accessories that come with the saw require very limited assembly and are smartly designed to intuitively set-up with the machine. Heavy-Duty – I was skeptical as to how will the saw would perform in a bench-top mode, without being mounted.

(Bucktool does sell a stand for the saw. ) I have used the saw on my workbench and had it run great. The unit did not bounce around as I cut through 1/4 and 1/2 inch boards. I even cut through a 1 inch shovel handle (just for the sake of trying it) and the whole unit still held sturdy and smooth.

As heavy-duty and sturdy as the saw is, it is still very manageable to move around for storing below my workbench.

After looking at the reviews of many scroll saws for weeks and probably months, I finally decided to “pull the trigger” and order the Bucktool SSA16L -16 inch scroll saw. This saw has all the features that I was looking for at an affordable price.

This thing is built solid (35 lb. ), it runs quiet and smooth, has a light that doesn’t shake, and my being new to scroll saws comes with a foot pedal which I feel is a MUST. To top it off, delivery was FAST and Free!.

This saw has been excellent so far, in terms of doing the job for which it is intended. It cuts smoothly with little vibration, has an adequately sized table and is reasonably quiet. My only complaint, hence the deduction of one star, is the blade holders for the pin-less saw blades.

They are, politely, a nuisance. It is very difficult to center the blade in the holders and tighten the setscrews at the same time. Not to mention, one has to do this to both ends so it is double the aggravation.

Once the blade is set in the holders, the holders attach to the saw mechanism with no fuss whatsoever. Also, the attachment of a blade with pins is very simple. My solution has been to use blades with pins whenever possible.

This is a low price item when compared to other similar saws. It was purchased as a second scroll saw for the shop in my vacation home. The first one looked great but on closer examination I found one of the female thread on the top arm was stripped out and the screw was just shoved in the hole.

The black paint on the base was a rough as sandpaper and needed to be completely gone over with real sandpaper to make it useable without abrasion to my hands. I was still willing to keep it at that point! But on the first use at about 10 minutes running time the saw slowed down and the speed control had no effect on the saw.

I returned it to HD and bought another (same saw). The second saw had the same black paint problem but the other issues are not apparently repeated. It would be great if better quality inspection was done, but all considered it is a good value and I hope it holds up.

I have limited use for a scroll saw so this one does the job for me. First off it is not made in China like most saws even the higher dollar ones. Made in Vietnam. I like Vietnamese commies better that Chinese commies so that part made me happy.

The base is actually cast iron and solid. Pretty easy to take the blade off and on. Mine does not vibrate around at all so I did not even have to bolt it down. Best scroll saw on the market around the $100 Dollar mark.

Complete junk. Arrived today via FedEx. Opened the box to find that the manual inside was for a band saw. Took the styrofoam out to find a loose nut in the bag with the saw. Took to the shop to mount to my workbench.

Tried to install a better blade than what comes with it and the blade holder snapped in half. I packed it up and returned it to the store. Had this piece of crap in my possession for less than 2 hours.

Very disappointed with the quality of this saw, I guess you really do get what you pay for. I have owned a Dremel scroll saw for over 20 years, the brushes went out on it and this was to replace it. I’ll have to keep shopping.

If you’re looking for a quality affordable scroll saw this isn’t it, avoid this saw.

Thanks stand by my dremel hand tool and use it daily. With that said I thought the moto-saw would be perfect for a little side business I have. Small, compact and economical. The intended use was to cut small wooden skateboards made out of 5 layers of 0.

5mm veneer. This saw is loud, vibrates madly, cute erratically, and the biggest issue is that the blades snap regularly. Every time I used it I was stressed out, waiting for that startling “snap”. I was so frustrated with the failure of this tool that a packed it back into its case a couple of months after purchasing.

I don’t even have the conscious to sell this on Kijiji I o an unsuspecting buyer. So there it sits, collecting dust on the basement floor. after that disappointment, I returned the work station also made by Dremel.

I guess I’ll stick with my rotary tool.

It’s Dremel’s “The Little Scroll Saw That Could. ” Clamp to your bench and it’s a traditional table scroll saw that you can use with both hands. De-couple the saw body and it becomes a hand-held scroll saw.

Nice design and nice execution in manufacturing. Plus, a decent storage/carrying case. There are a few competitors but Dremel is a a sweet spot on this product for my needs.

This Dremel scroll saw is outstanding. Easy to put together, easy to use. I had to buy the miter/fence guage separately. I think it should have been included in the kit itself as it is in Europe, but it is still an excellent tool.

I received it 4 days earlier than expected, which was nice. Good packaging. I highly recommend both the tool and the company I purchased it from.

I bought this Wen scroll saw to replace a HFT saw that had broken a poorly designed blade tightening knob. Although basically the same size and function the Wen is a much better tool and costs just a little more.

1. The Wen 3921 has a lever to tension or release the blade. On/Off vs. screwing and unscrewing on the HFT. This feature is normal on nearly all the higher end scroll saws and saves lots of time when changing blades or repositioning the blade in a new interior cut.

2. The Wen 3921 has a bright LED light which can be positioned to light the blade cut. It only comes on when the saw is running so I would suggest having another alway-on light focused on the saw table.

I bought some magnetic sewing machine lights which attach to the Wen base and keep the table brightly lit while positioning the work piece. 3. The Wen 3921 I got recently, came with an “alternate” set of blade holders which can replace the blade holders that came on the saw when packaged.

These new blade holders are a game changer if you want to use plain end / “pin-less” blades. These new blade holders allow the Wen to use the wide variety of plain end blades available to higher end saws.

Also you can use pin end blades with these same blade holders without changing back to originals. Replacing plain blades or repositioning the blade in a new cutout is simply a matter of turning the thumbscrews and inserting the blade.

Just like the “Big Boys”. 4. Other than those features the Wen 3921 functions as expected. Very little noise or vibration. Normal power for an entry level scroll saw. Easy to set up and operate out of the box.

( I highly recommend a foot pedal power switch for any scroll saw). I’m not a scroll saw wizard and do more woodworking and construction than scrolling but I know the difference in tools. I give the Wen 3921 a A for the price.

My wife got this from my wish list on Ebay for my birthday and it works great. Other than making sure the table lies flat using a square and the easy to access adjustment screw and adjusting the blade tension, it’s ready to go out of the box.

The air pump is sufficient to blow dust from the immediate cutting area and blades are definitely easy to change. To put on a new blade, just release the tension lever, tilt the table, remove the old blade by pushing down on the upper arm and out the pins in place, then reverse the procedure and voila, takes about 2 minutes.

If using pin-less blades, just insert it into the pin-less holder with the winger set screw, hook it on the bottom arm and do the same for the upper arm. The saw does by it’s very nature vibrate just a bit but most of the vibration can be adjusted out with the proper blade tension.

Once it is, there is very little vibration left and no need to fasten the saw down unless you really want to. At a certain speed, the goose neck light bonces just a bit, again this is pretty normal. What I did was take a twist tie and anchor the light to the pump outlet.

This dampens the light bouncing around at all speeds. My first cut was a one inch thick oak handle for my razor strop. Let the saw do the work without forcing it and got a very nice first cut that needed little sanding.

ALl in all, very nice little saw if used do do what it is designed for.

Spend some extra money for a better scroll saw. Too many issues to list here. The two biggest issues I have are; 1) Pinless blade clamps are absolutely terrible and just poorly designed. Frequently need to pry them apart as thumbscrews are trash.

Bottom clamp is almost inaccessible and no stops for blade insertion so a lot of finicky messing around and very time consuming. Thumbscrews are cheap and will break but they do provide an Allen key.

2) the table insert is plastic, is extremely flexible and not level with huge gaps, you will have to make your own zero clearance insert. I hope I can return this. I paid regular price, what a waste.

Good quality compared to price, value etc. My main machine right now is a new Excalibur. I have also used the Dewalt dw 788 and its similiar Delta models. I bought this as a smaller footprint to use for sanding only since I use pinned blades with adapted sanding sheets on the scroll saw for sanding.

This will be used for sanding only and perhaps some rough cuts. So I am looking at this from that perspective. Both pros and cons are intermixed here as I found fixes for some issues. NO MOUNT HOLES ON BACK OF SAW I am going to drill some.

Saw was packed well, and no damaged parts. Was in original packaging. Saw is lightweight and has what appears to be Aluminum table. Cast Iron base. Tested on a low cost wood top work table. Placing on a permanent work bench may yield better results regarding vibration: Using a pinned blade at medium high pitch, low speed shows low vibration, with the blower working well.

Increasing speed as expected did increase vibration, and on high speed vibration was somewhat pronounced but manageable. Deck size adequate for use on smaller pieces. Though a sixteen inch throat on this machine I would probably keep my work size at 5-10 inches due to vibration.

Material hold down, which the manual calls a drop foot is connected tothe blower feed. I don’t use the hold downs at all so that was not tested, but since it must be lowered to the work-piece it required the blower to be adjusted each time a different thickness of wood was needed.

After testing I removed the hold down. Both the blower and hold downs use Phillips screws so they were adjustable. Blower works well Tension knob works well and is easily accessible on back of saw. On off switch has a safety feature and the variable speed seems to work fine, and I noticed only a small amount of lag around the higher end.

Sweet spot for speed about half way which can be found feeling vibration. Note: In order to attach any blades to the bottom clamp there is a cover on the left of the saw covering the entire lower arm assembly.

It has two screws that must be removed or the lower blade camp cannot be easily accessed. I looked the saw over well, and there is no way my hands will reach that lower clamp without removing that cover.

I chose to leave it off, but keeping in mind the moving lower arm during use. I found no reference to this cover in the manual. Use of non pinned blades problematic as the blade screws must be heavily tightened to hold them.

They do hold, but over time I would expect the threads to fail after frequent tightening etc. So this is subjective. I will only be using pinned blades with this. [I will however, make additional attempts to use non pinned blades, but at present it does not appear to be a tenable situation.

] The table will tilt and this feature works well. Arm does NOT raise up for blade insertion for inside cuts. Blower is very functional but I could see dust floating from it, and initially decided to wear a mask during use, HOWEVER.

If you have a shop vac or a larger vac system it can be used with this saw. and it does have a front mount, which is directly under the blade and out of the way. I estimate more than 90% of dust was controlled with the vacuum outlet.

I raised the blower tube all the way up, pointed the blower directly at the top of the blade. This allowed enough blow down the blade to keep the front of it uncovered for cutting and reduced dust in the air.

Should work that way for sanding as well. So the vacuum system for it does work and actually I was impressed. [Dust is one of my major concerns and I try to control that in all of my work. ] The deck is very rough and appears stamped.

I am not going to use this with any fine woods, or any pre sanded and finished woods. [may scratch a fine finish] I am looking at options for a refinish of this top. Until then a rough buff with Johnson’s paste wax will have to do.

All this said, it is a keeper. I will be using it for rough cuts and sanding. Which is why I bought it. So do keep in mind what you intend to do with a scroll saw and get what you need. I would not recommend this machine as a learning one, but I do recommend it as a back up for other uses such as rough cuts and sanding.

All in all for the money this is a good machine. But not for heavy use, or making intricate cuts. I cannot attest to its longevity. One image shows the front dust port which I found worked very well with my shop vacuum.

and the other if you look carefully you can see the two screw holes and below on the table the cover. Inside is the lower arm and inside upper right is the Lower blade mount screw.

To hold pinless blades, you have to crank the nob really, really tight. Doing it by hand is not tight enough to hold the blade while tensioning. So, you have to use the hex key tool. That works good for a while until the bolt snaps.

If you are lucky, the bolt’s second half will stick out just a bit and you’ll be able to use pliers to remove it. I replaced both nobs with a quality M4 bolt and nut. I can use wrench to tight both clips and not worry about stripping the small bolt hex key head.

Quick and easy ordering from Acme Tools. Acme shipped quickly through Fed-Ex ground. Arrived quickly with no damage (packaged well). Assembly was quick and easy. (simply attached the eye drop shaped table to the base – 2 bolts) VERY quiet and virtually vibration free.

My first scroll saw. I did not realize how narrow the blades were and consequently how narrow the cut would be. My first test cut was on 3/4″ spruce with the included blade. VERY smooth cut. Minimal sanding needed.

I am very happy with this new addition to my wood shop. I see many ways to utilize this new saw. I anticipate adding a magnifier with led lights and some kind of hookup to a dust collector to keep the ultra fine dust out of my lungs.

If you are going to buy a tool, buy the best you can afford. Don’t settle for a cheap tool that will leave you disappointed so that you will either not use it to the fullest extent or you will have to upgrade to the better tool.

Cry once, due to the price. not twice when you realize you bought a cheap and inferior tool that needs replacing. I would highly recommend the DW788 to anyone looking to add a scroll saw to their shop arsenal.

I own several decent Dewalt tools but this is not one of them. At $480, I paid a premium price and expected a premium product. What I got was mostly junk. The tabletop is a respectable piece of cast iron but once installed, the blade is not centered in the hole.

A tiny bend in the blade and it will cut into the table. It doesn’t appear to be adjustable. The cuts are not straight either. Puzzle pieces I cut out will only go in one way because the blade is a few degrees from parallel with the work surface.

(You can adjust the table side to side but not front to back) The material hold down arm is useless. No matter how hard you tighten it, it wobbles. Also, the unit vibrates like crazy if you set the speed above 4.

And the manual is very lacking. No steps to troubleshoot and no instructions for adjusting anything (probably because none of the parts are adjustable). I don’t have a ton of experience with scroll saws but I own a lot of tools and the design of this thing seems poor.

The table does not come with a zero clearance insert and it does not make it easy to manufacture your own. The arm lifts up but it doesn’t lock in place and it does not lift high enough to give you a clear view for inserting the blade in small pilot holes.

You really need 3 or 4 hands if you want to make a lot of inside cuts. The blades are held in place with screws that twist the blade as they are tightened. It seems like a parallel clamping force would be a better design.

All that said, I’ve returned the tool and plan to replace it with a $120 Wen scroll saw which I can’t imagine will be any more disappointing than the product I just had in my shop. ======== Update: I just got my $120 Wen scroll saw.

Unlike the Dewalt, it came fully assembled and properly calibrated. The material hold down arm is sturdy and easily adjustable. The instruction manual was complete and clear. Designing a zero clearance insert should take less than 5 minutes with some 1/4 plywood.

It may be smaller and lighter but it stays put even without being bolted to the table. Only down side is that it is louder than the Dewalt. Even if the Dewalt wasn’t 4 times more expensive, I would argue that the Wen saw is a substantially better quality tool.

I put up with cheaper knockoffs for years until I finally put out the bucks and got this scroll saw. It was on sale with the stand included. A whole nother world! Vibration free, easy to load blades with the swing up arm, huge cast iron table, a blower and I added the light.

If I were to make any changes I would do something about the hold down foot, but I don’t have any idea how to make it better. Folks I see using these saws don’t appear to use them. The segmented blower arm kept moving and I would have to constantly readjust it.

Then I read that someone just sprayed it with some lacquer. I did it and it works! I adjust and it stays. I wish there was a way to integrate the light cord into the machine wiring with out a major break down session.

Had to change out the bulb to an LED. The incandescent bulb made it blazing hot and I got burned several times while using the machine. Other than those fairly minor things I gather that you can pay a lot more for some truly remarkable scroll saws but I love this machine and don’t hate scroll saw cutting any more.

I bought this a month ago to replace a full sized scroll saw. I could not make accurate cuts with it which I needed for my ship modelling. The Proxxon saw is so easy to use, I can make accurate curves with ease.

I would strongly recommend this tool to anyone who needs to make complex cuts. I have only used it on sheet wood up to 6mm thick so far. This tool easily makes straight or curved cuts, if you want to cut straight planks or strips it is not the correct tool for the job you need a Proxxon circular table saw.

Ill start with the pros. Contrary to what I have read in other reviews it was very easy to set up, use common sense and you will be fine. Great variable speed Cuts well, functions as it should & as described Once you figure out how to install the blades its pretty easy.

Cons: The cutting stroke is very short, you will wear out one small section of the blade at a time. I bought for cutting mother of pearl blanks. 0. 040 thin & it did ok, but not great. Will require more practice but Im starting to believe using a jewelers saw as Ive done for years will be the better option.

Really thats my only complaint, too short of a cutting stroke. Probably works better for wood with a wood cutting blade, but denser stuff that wears on blades quickly are not for this machine.

Directions are incomprehensible. Hard to install blades correctly with instructions that are understandable, diagrams you cannot understand. Too small for any but the smallest of cutting applications.

I’m trying to give this new machine away and after showing it to them, they walk away. It’s a terrible design. I’m going to throw it away, total waste of money, already bought and received a WEN manufactured machine and it works perfect for about the same price.

I nought mu Ryobi scroll saw and loved. It until the blade broke. After loosening the blade tension, I tried to turn the lower blade knob with the provided hex tool. The blade release knob very soon became stripped.

Then it basically disintegrated when I Zattemped to turn it by hand. Both the uppet and lower knobs fell apart. As if they were made of wax. That totally ruined for me. $.

I received this item quickly and the quality of the good where perfect

Having recently purchased this tool as it appeared to offer excellent cutting of fine items essential in miniature work, it did not disappoint. The delicate cutting and quiet running are excellent. The only drawback is the fiddly replacement of blades.

When refitting the lower end. into the holder, an inner light would be a great enhancement.

I use this for small cut-out projects with board and thin wood. It’s ideal for that sort of thing. It’s not designed as a full-sized scroll saw, it’s for making miniature things really, and for that it works well.

I don’t think it’s noisy – it’s about the same as a sewing machine. Blade is a little hard to get plumb vertical, but it’s not too hard. If you’re careful to let the blade do the cutting and not push too hard on it, it works fine.

Minor gripes are that the metal guide doesn’t extend the full length of the cutting area – so using the angle guide isn’t as easy as it should be. Also the plastic tube for the air flow was too big to fit as shown in the pictures – plus there were no instructions for the how and why of this.

Saw is ok as expected, but the whole blade guard assembly seems cheesy and a bother. Too, the support rod is sloppy in the holder. I do think the blade holder knobs could be a little more comfortable to grip and the lower one, at least, extended a little.

At the back of the upper arm is a socket with a threaded hole for a set screw. There is no mention of what this is for. Presumably, it is for some other light, but that’s a best guess. It still amazes me that in the hundreds of years scroll saws (used to be called jig saws) have been around, a flush table insert is still unavailable.

It annoys me to have to make a jig of some sort for a new tool that is supposed to work. Other that those minor things, the saw is fine and I’m as happy as I ever am.

Great saw. Easy to change blades. I got lots of practice. I broke 20 blades before I learned how to be careful about side pressure and taking curves more slowly. The saw is quiet and smooth. just take your time in cutting around corners, or the blade will break.

Have always enjoyed woodworking, but had never uses a scroll saw before. Bought this to learn and provide an additional hobby in my retirement years. “Got my feet wet” by downloading a deer scene off the internet and then cutting it out on plywood.

Made a few small goofs along the way, but my family members were amazed at the results of my first project. Yes, this saw has some excessive vibration at higher speeds, but at low-to-medium speeds no problem.

The blade is easy to disconnect and reconnect to get at the internal cutouts (used the pin type blade). Placed a portable shop light directly overhead to help to see details. I am very happy with the performance of this saw how easy it was to learn on.

Am looking forward to many hours indulging in this new hobby with this new tool.

Quick & easy blade change system, nice variable speed controller, quiet with little vibration, quick tip for blade change, replace allen bolt at the top blade holder with an M6 wing bolt, will save damage to the blade on over tightening & speed up changing too.

Overall a good starter for an introduction to scrolling. Good light when used but as on many the same , the dust blower is not over strong but will keep the work piece fairly well dust free.

Easy to set up and use. In saying that It’s a bit of a fiddle to change the blade the first time. Not so bad once you get used to it. It’s a shame that the light only works when the saw is running.

I am very pleased with this saw super easy to change blades no vibration. Arrived on schedule . Delighted

Nice product, it can be used like an electric fret saw in your hand without the table, or like a small band saw table, fairly quiet, brackets fitted on to work bench easily & held the table section tightly.

I’ve only used it a few times so far, but it’s done all I’ve asked of it. Blades are very small and a bit fiddly to fit at first, but gets easier the more times you do it. The instructions are laughable, you have to look at the pictures to be able to work out how to do things.

I don’t know how easy it is to get replacement blades, but you get 4 standard wood blades plus1 finer blade, so no rush to look for replacement blades. Everything comes in a sturdy plastic box with handle, so easy to store when not in use.

I’ve used this for various small wood projects, it’s simple to use, leaves a nice smooth edge, minimal sanding required. Inserting the blades is alittle fiddly but once in they are tensioned to a firm hold.

Great little gadget. You can set it up anywhere or permanently secure it to a worktop. I have used it in the attic, shed and kitchen for quick and easy cuts. Once finished, it easily comes apart and gets stored in its protective carry case.

All in all a great fret saw at a great price.

Elle est complète je la recommande sans problème.

It is good for the money. I have only one issue with it, and that is because it is too noisy for indoor craft work. The blade changing was difficult to begin with, but does get easier with practice.
