20 Best Screen Protector Lg G4 (2023 Updated)

I installed the first of the two protective covers I ordered on my LG G4 and the lower 1/2 inch right corner has failed to seal down. The remainder of the cover sealed down perfectly just as described it would – no air bubbles, not much effort, almost self sealing, etc.

I thought I may have slightly misplaced the cover during the install and that may have been the reason for it not to have adhered / sealed like the remaining 95% had. I carefully peeled the cover back up from the corner that had not adhered and tried to re-apply it.

Unfortunately, now I have two corners (the original corner and a new one) and a small strip along the vertical side edge that will not adhere down either. Seems odd, almost like there was no adhesive backing in that original bottom right corner.

I have the 2nd cover but do not want to try installing that one yet until I get SOME use of the 1st one. Hoping for better results from the next one.

I was worried that it’ll be hard to apply. After following the cleaning steps, i just aligned the film with the screen. It placed itself. All i had to do was gently press on it to take the remaining air out around the edges.

I thought it was dust under it but it turned out to be just air. Tip not to be stupid: if you have a film on the screen already, remove it right before you apply the new one. It’ll make the cleaning easier.

I had to work a little harder cause i messed up. The plastic was cut right too. I thought it might cover the proximity sensor but it did not happen. I’m satisfied with it. Thank you!.

The glass is easy to install, remove, & also reinstall multiple times. The only downside to the product is that it does not fully cover the screen to the furthest purgar edge of the phone & proximity sensor is nonfunctional once the tempered glass covers it.

This causes you not to be able to see your screen or even be able to lock or unlock your phone using your password or any other features because proximity sensor is being blocked. I had to tape & carefully cut that portion out in order to make my phone function with the glass.

Final product on the phone is great, no bubbles, good texture and looks great. My problem was that the guide tape did not stick to the back of my phone / was not sticky enough, so the protector slid some to the side when I tried to put it on.

Luckily it was hardly noticeable. Once connected, it practically melts onto your screen and looks good.

I have ordered/tried several different manufacturer’s tempered glass shields for my Motorola Droid Turbo 2 smart phone and this particular one is “the best” I have found. It’s “fit form and function” are almost as custom and precise as the original that came installed on my phone and heads above the other four brands I had tried prior.

No complaints, only praise since now I know what the competition has to offer.

Easiest screen protector I have ever applied! It was almost like a self sealing cover. The top and bottom of the protector did not totally seal but I can’t complain. It is at the very edge and doesn’t affect anything.

Smudges are must less than previous screen protectors.

Well I mean they do the job but man are they a pain. Installation isn’t the worst but I swear I never touched the underside of it but I have finger prints all over after it fully cured. The applicator scratches the living hell out of it and they have never gone away.

The scratches aren’t super noticeable but with white back grounds there are rainbow lines from them that can be annoying. Also anytime you clean it it will get sticky, eventually it goes smooth again but it leaves finger prints if your not careful.

I was really hoping for a traditional non tempered glass screen protector that just sticks on, as mine crack constantly from the type of work I do, but man they’re hard to find anymore. So if you were extremely careful during install and maybe used a rubber applicator or just a better quality plastic they’d be ok but I can’t really recommend them.

I bought this on Amazon and while the phone still functions the way it should, I am kinda bummed that the screen protector doesn’t cover the entire glass screen all around. This leaves the edges still exposed which is what I don’t want.

The S21 Ultra has a curved edge so the sides of protector un-sticks to the screen once in awhile and lint gets attracted to it. (In your S9 installation video, it looks like it covers the entire screen, even the Edge) Installation wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be for these wet-installed protectors.

My device still works the way it should. Their customer service is top notch and they reply to you fast.

Overall a low quality kit. The film itself is ok, but the fit is poor. If you install slightly off center, the film won’t cover the entire screen. Worst of all, for a wet install film, this kit doest include a spray bottle.

It also doesn’t include any stickers to remove dust and the card and wipe that are included are both low quality. Finally, no printed instructions are included and when you follow the link to their site they won’t let you see the instructions without registering.

Very scammy.

So far, so good. I prefer these self healing films over tempered glass due to the self healing and no worries of sharp chips or cracks. Following the video wet install, everything went on perfectly with ease.

This kit comes with 2 ea front protectors, so Installed one on front, and one on back (cut out the top left for camera), and I’m very happy. The screen is crystal clear, touch works perfectly, and works with cases.

So far, so happy.

There is one review that states they ruined two. This screen protector is a bit of patients trying to install however if you take your time it really turns out great. It takes about an hour to install and then overnight to dry.

My advice is to start the install before bed and then in the morning you have the new protector to on and operational.

The only consolation is there are two supplied if the first attempt goes wrong – which it likely will. Tried putting it on after cleaning the nook first with Alcohol and then by the supplied cloth. The screen was clean and attempted to apply the first one from top downward (as the film underneath can only be removed from top first, so that is the only way you can apply it) and left equal space on top and left/right edges.

As the protector reached the nook logo, it would not fit and was overlapping the raised n button. I had to remove it and start again which left marks and lint underneath that is impossible to repair.

Being a old device and having experienced wide range of screen protectors – this is one of the more difficult ones to align and apply without bubbles showing up. One more thing, the protector does not have the cutout for the n shaped button enclosed from all sides as the image shows, it is a inverted U shaped cutout as most generic ones for nook have.

This is no different.

I dropped my phone the other week and thought I’d broken the screen. I was pleasently surprised to learn it was only the tempered glass protector that cracked. For less than $10 SuperGuard gives you two protectors.

Pretty easy to install. My only negative comment is they only provide one set of cleaning cloths, so I’ll need to find cleaning solution when I need to use the second protector.

Great product. Comes with everything for installation. For better results do it after a steamy shower. The residual steam will capture any dust particle that may end up between the screen and the screen-protector.

LOOKED OK, BUT IF THERE IS VERY LITTLE DUST YOU CANNOT SEE , IT WILL MAKE A BUBBLE. FINGERPRINTS TEND TO SMEAR AND HARD TO CLEAN. THE GLASS ON THE NEXUS IS TOUGH AND EASY TO CLEAN. JUST BUY A GOOD CASE AND BECAREFULL.

When I placed this item on my phone, strange characters kept appearing, not the one’s I was entering. Walmart phone center employee found when it was removed, the phone worked fine. I had her through glass away.

This is a pretty good phone case. It’s durable, stylish, and the kickstand is very handy. The back also covers the buttons directly underneath the camera without obstructing the camera itself. (The rubber covering of the buttons is also really neat, something I haven’t seen in previous cases, the only slight difference being that its black as opposed to being colored like the photo shows).

However, the colored rubber skin that holds your phone in place has flaps that cover the audio jack and the charging port at the bottom. I understand this might function as protection from water damage, but in my case it got in the way of charging my phone, and I had to literally cut the opposing piece off with a hunting knife so I could charge my phone properly.

The flap on the audio jack doesn’t get in the way of functionality. Overall good item for the price.

I was working in a scissor lift in the gym of a new school. Was approximately 25 ft up when my phone slipped out of my hands. It was slow motion as I watched it fall to the ground. It landed on one of the edge bumpers and bounced a bit.

The case cracked a bit but my phone was fine.

It is a sturdy made phone case with hard grade plastic which I would have preferred a more pliable rubber like feel over the hard plastic, from viewing the pictures of this product. The kick stand is too short to stand vertically.

A shoe lace would be stronger than the thin sting like material used for the phone wrist strap. Not worth the listed price. I am not satisfied and very unhappy I have no way to return this item Walmart.

Easy to put on and it comes with plastic guide to make it easy for anyone to put on in minutes. it has good coverage and it’s very scratch resistant. It picks up finger prints but it wipes off easy. I only wish it had antiglare and more of a smudge resistant screen because Pixel phones are hard to see in the sunlight.

For this good of a screen protector you will pay double that in the store. Protection wise and quality this product is a 5. I gave a 4 do to it picks up finger prints and I would like antiglare option.

The glass absolutely does its job, but I have found that you really get just one good shot with it – and doesn’t necessarily have to be that rough. Still, it diffuses the energy before it gets to the screen and that’s the most important.

Four stars for the glass but six stars for the company because they are unfailingly easy to deal with. About to get another replacement already because I’m a dropper.

Mine was great and worked perfectly! My husband’s (xl) had so many bubbles! He cleaned it before with the provided wipes but the drying cloth left little invisible fibers all over the screen so it bubbled.

I shook my drying cloth several times before attempting to use it after I saw what happened with his and mine is perfect! Love the ease and speed of ordering a replacement!.

previously bought plastic shield, ill never do that again. bubbles hard to work out. plastic attracted dust. while using the plastic shield moved. biught the tempered glass shield. BIG difference. cleaned screen as before but the tempered glass was much easier to apply.

put in place and it stays in place. screen clear and good as new.

Just installed it so I can’t comment on the longevity of the product. Definitely watch the installation video several times to make sure that your familiar with the installation process. Take your time.

This is the first screen protector that I installed and I give myself a B+. Not perfect as I have a couple of tiny bubbles. I may have waited a bit too long to force out the bubbles. Otherwise, looks good.

The alignment stickers help, but you still need to pay careful attention when your attaching the protector to your screen as it’s possible for it to shift it slightly even with the alignment stickers.

Just take your time.

Easy to install and there work perfectly. I really like the little install kit that is provided for each glass cover. I will buy more in the future. Highly recommended product.

This is the first “wet install” screen protector I have done. It was also, by far, the easiest and fastest. My old protector was not wet install. It was really hard to get it aligned and remove the air bubbles.

If you had to realign the old protector, you had to remove it and reapply which introduced more air bubbles. When it finally was aligned, removing the air bubbles was hard because they are trapped by the adhesive.

With this “wet install” screen protector as you squeegee out the air bubbles, you can realign the protector by sliding it and without introducing more air bubble. I have a couple of suggestions which may make installation even easier.

1. I cleaned the screen with alcohol which is better than water for removing oily fingerprints. 2. I used a bright white light which makes it earier to see any contamination on the screen after cleaning.

It also makes it easier to align the protector for an exact fit. I would definitely but Spectre Shield protectors again.

Shipping was quick and the product came as described. The process of a wet installation with a little downtime for the phone as the protector cures took up a bit more time than I would have liked, but it seems like a good screen protector for the price.

The film has some stretch marks and isn’t glass smooth at the moment (installed about 20 minutes ago), but it looks about like what is shown in the installation video and is supposed to cure flat. In the video, it states that the micro-bubbles (which I presume includes the subtle warping of the film) will dissipate within about 2 days.

It that turns out not to be the case, I will update my comment and will give the second screen protector (this is a two-pack) a go.

Likes: Easy to install > using soapy water allows perfect alignment and elimination of air bubbles. Tip: run hot shower in closed room so as to suppress dust particles. I wear rubber gloves and a cap to further minimize transfer of contact and airborne particulates.

Above all – be patient. Dislikes: None to speak of.

I was really sceptical on ordering this due to the age of my phone. And all of the spin offs out there that are so thin and never can put on without bubbles all over or it goes on crooked. When I got this, I was surprised of how well it was packaged and how well put together the product was/is.

I followed the directions and after putting the “glass” on my phone, it was like having a brand new phone! I am REALLY impressed with this product. It shows a knife on this product, but I am not going to even try, even with three covers.

I have a rebel 4 phone and it lined up perfect. Shipment was fast. I like the non glare glass. Easy on the eyes and you don’t have to tilt phone to view screen because of glare. I had ordered different glass but didnt like.

Easy to return. Just take to Walmart store. They return it for you and you get full refund.

The glass is great. make sure you watch their video. I also suggest watching other youtube videos on how to apply. I did not give it 5 stars only because the “Guide Sticker” tabs did not stick as well as I though they should.

Applying isn’t hard, just tricky. I did end up with a couple of bubbles but they were small and one the edges where it didn’t matter. If I need more I would reorder.

The Best Tempered Glass. wont buy any other brand. lasted 1 year on my husbands phone. just replaced it with a new one. phone is still in perfect shape even tho tempered glass was cracked. shipping was fast and received product early.

so pleased with this product. i would recommend it to anyone who wants a durable product to protect your phone. It does have adhesive that makes it stay in place on phone. couldn’t ask for a better product!!.

I was supposed to receive this NEXT Friday so I was super super surprised to see it in the mail today. A week early. Very easy to place on the phone, instructions definitely help. I love that it comes with 2 cloths for each of the protectors.

Super happy with this item. The one I got before from a different brand, didn’t cover my whole screen, and this one does so I’m happy for that reason too. I don’t think my first would have cracked so easily if it was full screen.

I don’t like to buy from that big online retail site, I think they represent virtually every problem with big business from A to Z, so it’s been difficult finding a screen protector for my Velvet. The last one I tried to accessorize with on the cheap from another store that’s filled wall-to-wall with compromise started peeling in the corner within days.

I guess you get what you pay for, though. Delivery time for this one wasn’t what one of those sites could offer, but it definitely fell within the estimate they gave me on ordering. It’s been good so far, I’ve had it on a couple weeks with little issue.

I’m not sure if it’s the protector or just my phone, but some parts of the screen seem less sensitive than others. I’d increase the sensitivity, but other parts of the screen seem to respond normally and I already hear it tapping messages when it’s just loosely against my sweater.

Application was easy and there was no bubbling under the surface almost immediately. It also works without a problem with my phone case, there’s no overlap or rubbing going on between the two.

I watched the video and away I went. I cleaned the screen with the wet wipe as shown then went for the tack pad as instructed but the tack pad adhered itself to the screen like glue so I dispensed with that and started again.

I then applied the two guides to the protector and started to position it but unfortunately they didn’t have much adhesion and my protector fell on the floor, On my third attempt I positioned it using my hands, this worked much better but when I turned the phone on I couldn’t see the time or the charge indicator, I managed to remove the protector and position it with the phone on, Success !.

Having said all that I am glad I persevered as it works very well in a harsh environment.

First, I love tempered glass screen protectors. They provide the max amount of protection with the feel of a normal screen. I looked on many sites to find a quality screen protector for my curved screen that would cover the full screen but most importantly keep the screen sensitivity.

Unfortunately the description and reviews on this product were not accurate. The truth is the protector is perfect for protection and coverage but fails on sensitivity. The brand is proud to say that the protector will allow the finger print scanner to be unaffected while using the protector but that is false.

Like every other screen protector that only has an attachment surface on the edges this protector caused a severe loss in sensitivity. I’ve installed many screen protectors so I know I did right. The reason for the loss sensitivity I believe is that the glue is only on the sides and very little of it on top actually attaches to the phone.

I even went from the mid to outsides of the phone with plenty of pressure to see if maybe I’m just not hitting those key areas. Sadly the fingerprint sensor worked but it would take like 10 tries to actually work even after resetting it with my protector in place.

Also on a positive note the protector left no bubbles or micro scratches on screen. Apologies for the long review but after waiting a month to receive this product. I wished I was given a warning or something that extended times for US shipments may happen.

Plus my product failed at the job it was suppose to do. No fault in mobile though. Honestly if you made it this far, get tpu screen protector. For the one plus 8 the phone is crazy sensitive and a tpu protector is the only thing that will truly capture that unless you get a tempered protector that doesn’t fully cover the edges.

Your choice but I’ve had 0 issues with my tpu and would highly recommend it for curved screens. Thanks.

First of all. It was just shy of covering my screen all the way around. I bought one before and it was awesome. I was displeased with this on. I have not even dropped it and the screen had cracked in 2 different spots.

Glass did not fit with other protection it couse a air to get under and Ben a mechanic I have to have other protection. But if not using the rubber cover around the phone works grate

This screen protector kinda thick and will leave a small area around the screen unprotected for the heavy duty case to fit around the phone seems durable screen protector.

I had purchased another brand for my phone and it went on without a hitch. I initially purchased 1 of this brand for my husband (who needs 2, right?), and my advice is to purchase the 2-pack or 3-pack right off the bat.

I had to reorder because the first one had a bubble I couldn’t get out and when I tried to take it off to attempt to re-adhere it , the sticky part got compromised and was useless. I then ordered the 2-pack.

It went on fine but couldn’t get rid of a bubble along the bottom edge. After a few days when it didn’t go away, I gently pulled it off and was able to re-adhere and we’ll see how long it lasts.
