20 Best Screen Protector Iphone Se (2023 Updated)

If you’re looking for a screen cover that’s easy to install and reduces blue light, then this is great. Sadly it’s not perfect in many other aspects. Firstly, these come with a brilliant installation template, so if you’ve had problems lining up your screen protector in the past then this will allow you to breathe easy.

You simply make sure your screen is clear of dust and drop the cardboard shape around your phone – like a phone case. Done! Amazing. The blue light tech in these is fantastic, it makes the image much less stressful for your eyes in dark environments, however this is where the benefits stop for me.

As a professional photographer needing a clear, non colour altering display, this fails despite the claims. It does reduce blues and alters skin tones as a result, leading clean images of people to look slightly mucky, discoloured and jaundiced.

Never mind, I can deal with that, I have various other screens, like my iPad and MacBook, to be able to showcase my images from. It’s a shame my readily available phone doesn’t show my images to the best colour accuracy but it’s not colour destroying and still suitable for a small form factor viewing.

Sadly, this screen protector doesn’t function fantastically well at being a ‘screen protector’. I’m not too sure what strength of tempered glass is being used but it’s easily fractured and chipped on the edges, and after only a couple of months of use for my second one in 4 months I’ve got two nice cracks split across from different places after a single drop on thinly carpeted floor.

My initial one actually broke along with my screen shattering beneath it from a waist high drop onto tarmac – not much in the way of screen protection. Oh, and I use a fairly expensive rubber case around my phone too.

So I guess if you have a good armoured case that’s going to protect your screen anyway and you want blue light reduction with less discolouration than apple’s built in offering, this is great! If you want screen protection or perfect colour rendition, you’re better off getting something built better for strength.

I had the chance to try 4 types of screen protectors on my iPhone 13 Pro. This one left me a bit puzzled as I had high hopes, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations. This screen protector is relatively higher in price compared to other screen protectors within the same range.

For around 29. 99 you get only one protector so if you miss the first installation there is no chance to reapply a substitute protector. For half this amount I got a set of three protectors which perform perfectly well.

I appreciate that this one has a particular focus on protecting against blue light. This is medically-advised and this protector does a great job at that. However, that’s the only special thing about this protector, and nothing else is unique.

This covers even the Face ID sensors and selfie camera which I don’t like. The last thing I want is to add a layer on top of my camera and sensors. The installation isn’t that smooth either. I found it quite a hit-or-miss type of installation, where a potential miss is very costly.

I really hope this screen holds up because it’s expensive! Cool idea to have the plastic case to apply the screen onto the phone. it will line up perfectly. I followed the directions but I still ended up with 3 very tiny bubble spots where something got inbetween the phone and screen.

but given how expensive this screen is, I did not dare peel it off and retry! I’ll have to live with it. The other bubbles took a while to massage out. And some parts of the edge were hard to seal, and it even popped a bit the next day.

I read a trick once about taking the tiniest bit of olive oil and running it along any edge that pops up. Did it before and did it this time and it works well. We’re not talking about a visible amount of oil, so don’t go laying it on.

Maybe apply it with a lightly oiled corner of a napkin. Screen has a visible blue tint but I haven’t been disturbed by any screen colors. I was looking for a blue light filter that’s also anti-glare.

I saw mentions of anti-glare for this one but it’s definitely a shiny surface. I’ll live.

This screen protector protected my phone from many falls. Today it finally cracked to the point that here I am looking to re-purchase it. I cracked it today I was checking out a girl in the street and I was so distracted my phone fell on the concrete face down.

Without this screen protector I would be looking at an expensive screen replacement. I looked at other brands but I thought why not go with the same product I already know works. 5/5 stars.

Great quality protector, I can definitely recommend this to everyone. Installed it on my girlfriend’s iPhone the first try, no baubles no reapplying. All seems good. The installation process was easy, it even arrives with a plastic you can put on your screen in such a way that installing the screen protector is always straight in the middle.

Comes with 3 screens and 3 sets of wet wipes, dust absorber (simply, big sticker) and dust remover(small sticker) and one dry cloth for wiping after cleaning. Used the wet wipes, the big sticker and voila!.

i always come back to these, and theyve lasted quite a long time. apart from tiny scratches, they hold up well. youd have to use a great deal of force to break them. im a perfectionist, and ive had to reapply them a few times, but after a while, its no problem!.

The instructions were pretty clear and I had no trouble putting on the screen protector. There was quite a lot of disposable bits, like an individual screen wiping cloth, stickers, and plastic film, so if youre concerned about cutting down how much plastic you purchase, keep that in mind.

The quality seems good and the price was very affordable. After a few months of use, I haven’t had any issues with cracks and the screen is still on securely.

The design is great because it does cover the entire screen. However, the adhesive is awful. The phone is brand new and I took off the manufacturer plastic ensured the phone screen was cleaned and applied.

The screen protector seemed to lack adhesive on the right side and immediately lifted from the phone screen. I took it off and trashed it. The second screen protector lacked adhesive on the left side so that one went into the trash too.

The 3rd and final one is just ok. I own a 6s+ and a 7 plus and never had issues with tempered screen protectors as I did with this brand. I won’t buy again.

Good: well shaped, uniformly adheres, strong protective film Not as good: has an opaque edge, possibly due to a different plastic material or due to a coating on the film itself, of about 0. 5mm wide, colored white, on the top side, that is not as ‘slippery’ as the rest of the protective film.

this may not affect some installations. It affected my installation because the white opaque edge ‘catches’ on the phone case when inserted. clear edge films never caught. this friction caused a bubbling affect as the phone was inserted into its tight fitting protective case.

Bought this 2-pack screen protector for the iPhone SE 2020, It was easy to install following the directions. It comes with a plastic shell template to place over the phone. This is in order to align the protector correctly while attaching to the screen.

One problem I had was that there were bubbles formed during the attachment. I was disappointed at first, since I did not want to remove and reattach the protector since it might break, However, one week later the bubbles finally disappeared.

Also, the protector does not reach from edge-to-edge. There is a three millimeter gap all around the screen. The screen might still get damaged if it dropped at a certain angle. The protector seems to work best from straight head-on damage to the center of the screen, the edges are questionable.

Overall, still worthwhile to me.

The Insignia Tempered Glass Screen Protector of the 2nd generation Apple iPhone SE proved to be a good choice. I spent a lot of time reading reviews of other products, including a company I had purchased screen protectors that worked well in the past, but a lot of those reviews mentioned problems with areas all around the edges where the protector did not sit flush with the screen.

This product was one of the only ones for which I checked reviews where that was not a reported problem. The protector proved very easy to install and met expectiations. Complete coverage with no problems at the edges.

Has not scratched yet. Seems like a good product. Slightly more expensive than those I have purchased in the past, but not outrageously so. Recommended.

I have always used Spigen screen protectors, but bought these because they had better reviews for the iphone SE 2020. The screen protectors went on easily for both phones, just as easily as the Spigen screen protectors did on our other phones.

One protector has held up well for the first month, and there were no bubbles. The second screen protector also went on easily with no bubbles. However, that screen protector cracked within one week while it was in my front pocket.

The phone was never dropped. I have no explanation for how the cracks occurred. I put a second screen protector on that phone but was not able to get rid of the bubbles on the left side. I’m rating this a 5 for the first phone and a 1 for the second.

I’m currently trying to find another screen protector, but for the price and the problems I’ve had, I’m looking for a different brand.

This comes with a very handy plastic frame/template that just snaps on your phone. The screen protector is attached to this frame and it makes it super easy to be sure your protector is centered on your phone.

This is particularly crucial for a SE phone because of the bevel on the edges. If it is not perfectly centered, it overlaps the beveled part and then it is no good! I bought this brand partially because of this frame.

So, why the 3 stars? Well, the screen protector was upside down in the frame! And it will only snap on the phone one way, so you cannot just flip your phone around! I contacted customer service and asked them to exchange for one that was oriented correctly.

At first they did not seem to understand but I sent photos and everything. Then they did not reply at all. After hanging and waiting for a few days (when I had originally ordered it overnight due to an urgent need with a new phone) and no reply I removed the screen protector by removing a taped label, and reapplied it to the other end of the frame to orient it correctly for the phone.

It took several tries to get it positioned just right. So in the end I think it went on ok and will work. I would give the screen protector a 5, but the customer service and upside frame gets a 1, so I averaged to a 3.

I bought this one after my Zagg invisishields kept breaking after about a week of use. They have a good return policy and I kept replacing it, but it was a hassle. I wanted something more sturdy. I always have one of these types of screen protectors on my phone and it wasn’t until the SE version of the Zagg item that I started having issues.

I am no stranger to putting these on my phone. I followed the instructions on this one completely. Like some others, it was installed upside down. The stickers were placed in the wrong spot on the item.

I had to take the screen off and place it again. Now it is lifted all along the edges, as you’re not supposed to remove it and reapply it. Seems silly that they’d have this unique method for doing it but their own stickers are wrong.

Unlike Zagg, Target is making me return the item to replace, meaning my phone would be 100% unprotected while I wait for a replacement. I’ll stick with this one for now, though annoying, and see if it lasts despite the edge lifting.

I really wanted to love the ShieldView Glass iPhone XS Screen Protector, but it’s just average in comparison to others that you can get for a cheaper price. The installation kit seems like a genius idea, but when put into use it’s not actually that simple.

I followed the instructions exactly, but dust still got caught onto the screen protector and was trapped between my phone and the protector. Not to mention, the alcohol wipe that was included was completely dry and useless to me.

I had to remove the screen protector and re-apply multiple times before I could get it to attach to my phone correctly, however there was still the issue of air bubbles that I could not completely get rid of no matter how many times I tried.

Another thing is that the size of the screen protector is actually smaller than that of the screen on my phone, so it doesn’t look very pleasing. I don’t drop my phone a lot, so I can’t say how well this protects my screen from shattering, but it does do a fairly good job in protecting from fingerprints, scratches, and smudges.

All in all, I think this is a decent screen protector, but there could definitely be a lot of improvements in order to make it better. I don’t think I would buy it again or recommend this unless there were improvements made.

The only reason why I would recommend this is for the “goof-proof” installation kit, which isn’t actually goof-proof after all but does make it a bit easier to apply the screen protector.

Great customer service. Easy to order and fulfill your guarantee. I’ve always loved the product and the ease of installation, but a few of my last protectors have seemed to crack and easily a lot easier than my first few replacements.

I’ve barely had my current protector on a week and there is a hairline crack from top to bottom and a small spiderweb at the bottom. I do not recall dropping my phone, much less an event that would have caused this to happen.

I’ll continue to order, I hope that the last few were just a fluke.

Great protection. Even stands up to abuse by a middle schooler. Great warranty. But quite difficult to affix to surface… I’ve done it at least 6 times, I’ve read the instructions and watched the video, and I’m meticulously careful, but sometimes they just don’t go on without bubbles or side spots where the protector doesn’t affix.

It’s not a dealbreaker but I do wish it were easier.

I took it to AT&T for them to put the replacement on and this is the 2nd time this has happened with this glass protector. It did not lay down flat and I have an air bubble on the bottom. The manger of that store said it happens a lot with this cover.

Said it may lay down. It’s been a week and it’s still there. This is a concern to me. What’s interesting is that the glass protector in between worked great.

I am pretty happy with this product, although it is a pity the protector doesn’t go from edge to edge and cover the whole screen. There is an approx 2mm gap between where the protector stops before the edge of the phone all round.

This causes some slight distortion just on the edge of the screen protector where the light of the display shines through the thick glass edge. On a more positive note, application was easy and the sensitivity of touch screen is still great.

So I would buy this product again. I just look forward to the day when edge to edge screen protectors for this model phone become more readily available.

Utterly useless product. Doesn’t fully protect the screen leaving a gap of 2.5mm around the edge.. The protector cracked within a week due to this vulnerable edge. Don’t waste your money.

The screen is a good protector for the iPhone, however is quite thick and you have to angle the phone properly to view the screen. If you angle it slightly away from you or say want to quickly check time or messages and it is flat on a desk, it distorts the screen view making it hard to read.

Focusing on the screen at any angle that is not directly towards your view hurts your eyes.

I purchased this screen protector along with the iPhone SE Tough Armor case and use them to this day since 2015. This case along with the glass screen protector have helped my phone survive a couple drops from 5′-6′ on a ladder, multiple drops from waist high on a variety of surfaces and multiple fumbling drops that tumbled the phone on concrete/asphalt (no damage to the case or phone).

A circle gouge was made in the back of the case while attached to my dual sport motorcycle via RAM Mount (dropped the bike going ~5 mph) phone had no markings and worked fine. I am an EMT and carry my phone in this case everyday through all sorts of punishment in my pocket and the case has always protected my phone.

Yesterday, 5/21/18, I left my phone on my lap when I jumped out of the ambulance to fuel at a gas station. I did not notice I didn’t have my phone and when we pulled away the ambulance ran it over, there it sat on the ground in light rain for about an hour.

When I finally noticed my phone was gone I checked around the pump at the gas station and I found my phone lying on the asphalt. The screen looked cracked all over and destroyed but the phone was still on lit up when I pushed the top button.

I removed the screen protector and my screen had ZERO physical damage and some light moisture behind the screen! I removed from the phone from the case and placed in rice for 24 hours and the moisture is now gone.

MY PHONE LOOKS THE SAME AS THE DAY I BOUGHT IT! I was originally skeptical of the case since it is very slim and light considering I was coming from a Griffin Defender case on my last phone that was very big and bulky.

I have owned many cell phones and many “screen protectors”. This quite possibly is the best protection for your iPhone screen available on the market. It is actually, a very thin piece of tempered glass that fits over your phone’s original screen.

It adheres via a nano-coating of silicone that is invisible to the eye. Once applied it looks and feels like the phone’s actual glass. as if no screen protection was even there. No air bubbles as it is a solid piece of glass.

No scratches as it is tempered. It is smooth as butter and detects even the slightest touch. The edges are rounded off to fit the rounded edges of the phone. It pairs very well the Spiegen Tough Armor case (another amazing piece of phone protection from the folks at Spiegen.

Not sure how it pairs with other cases, but the Spiegen Tough Armor is about $20 at NFM and it rocks as a pair. BOTTOM LINE: If you have an iPhone, you MUST have this for your screen protection.

This glass costs more than some other screen protectors, but it totally worth it. The main difference is protective coating that makes using this item very smooth. It does not produce a resistance, that I noticed while using gestures on cheaper items.

It also leaves less stain from fingers and has better anti-glaring. The edges of this glass are smooth, which is not the case with cheap items and it does not cover the front camera, which was the case with my previous protector.

These are high quality screen protectors. No scratches or smudges so far. Shaped and sized perfectly and they work with my phone case. The first one I applied would not stick down on one corner so I contacted the manufacturer.

Screen saver for IPhone SE was perfect. Service was very quick. Finally the right size screen protector – ordered the 2020 version for the IPHONE SE and needed the 2016 version. Older phone and screen protector is smaller for older phone.

Ive only had it a few days. Instructions were easy and installation was also. It gave me a video to watch to make sure it was installed properly. It came with two screens and a lifetime warranty. So far I am satisfied with it.

Very simple to install. Better than the plastic that some phones use due to it being scratch free, hence, easier to clean. Made perfect for each phone. Very inexpensive for the use and protection you get.

Easy to apply, does the job, don’t know why these things are so expensive though.

The overall design of this screen protector is good, and one of the few on eBay that will actually stick all the way to the edge so you dont have that boarder of a non-stick area, but applying the screen protector leaves something to be desired.

If you dont get it on exactly perfect the first time, forget re-applying it without creating bubbles underneath. Even if you do get it lined up right, the application process uses two tabs that you use to line it up and pressing straight down, which traps bubbles beneath the screen.

Others have you remove the adhesive protector and start at one end and lay it moving to the other, which reduces trapped bubbles.

4/5; fits iPhone SE 2020 well, but descreases touch sensetivity a little. Install is sort of hard because you have to free hand it, there is no tray or tabs to hold it in place. My install was extremely slightly off.

Even with a 100% correct install, It does not cover the whole screen due to the curvature of the SE screen. Highly recommend because this is one of the only screen protectors that fit this phone without bubbling up on the edges.

There is also a cutout for the camera which I like. As an unintended consequence, the home button is also easier to find with your finger when not looking at it. Overall a good product, I just wish they included an installation tray.

I’ve tried glass protectors from Spigen and JTech, both had the halo effect and I mean every single one that they had in package. This one was the first one I’ve tried without the halo effect. Took a star off because one of two protectors did not adhere but the second one I tried did.

Wish the dust remover sticker was larger.

This is great. Had one for two years or so, and it did a great job of protecting my phone. Was a bit worried about getting the existing one off given how well it’s stuck for 2 years, but once I got it started, it came right off.

Note that the old one did crumble as I was removing it, so it’s not something you can take off and put back on, at least in my experience! Installation was very easy, and it comes with everything you need! Will definitely be getting one of these for future phones too!.

I appreciate the thickness of the glass and the ease of install. The touch response of the screen is very good. I have the quad lock case as well and my only complaint is size. I don’t like the amount of space between the edge of the screen protector and the case.

I know they can’t be touching but I believe there could be a bit more coverage. My last protector(not quad lock) got chipped right on the edge from a rock and I believe that if it happened here the screen might actually get hit.

For the price, I expected a plastic guide to place on the phone to ensure proper placement of the protector. I have also noted that one small corner of the glass will not bind with the phones screen.

The area is about the size of the tip of my finger and when the phone is active I cannot see it. But it does bug me when the screen is dark and I can see the small imperfection. As far as I can tell, the quality of the glass is good, which is why I ordered from Quad Lock version, ie, I expect the quality to be high from Quad Lock which is why I am willing to pay a premium amount.

Bought this alongside my phone case since it was half price. Does the job I guess but application was not the easiest, especially considering it didn’t come with instructions so I had to follow a YouTube tutorial that wasn’t specific to this screen protector.

The result of application is a large bubble in the corner that will not disappear due to a crack at the bottom of the screen protector. Other screen protectors also come with more to clean the dust off of the screen beforehand, such as sticky bits, but this one doesn’t.

Overall would not really recommend but was quite cheap.

After reading some of the other reviews I was sceptical about getting this. But I got it for £5 after buying a case. I work in a phone shop so I have seen brands like Zagg and tech21 and I have used Amazon versions.

This one from Skinnydip is brilliant. It has a great feel when typing and fully fits the screen edge to edge. The only difference is Skinnydip do not offer a warranty- but for £20 difference what does this matter?! 100% recommend.

The dust removal sticker is very big! It covers the entire phone screen! Install your glass in a room with the least amount of dust floating around & you too can achieve zero dust bubbles! By buying Armor Edge you can’t have Best Buy do the install of it for $8.

They have a contract with Zagg, so if you go with Zagg, Best Buy handles the free replacement if your protective glass cracks. If my Armor Edge cracks, I will have to contact Armor Edge to get it replaced under warranty.

Armor Edge had several bad reviews regarding their Customer Service though. I’m hoping not to have that concern since I rarely drop a phone I own! Within a few days of having Zagg, I was fed up with the smudges & finger oils collecting constantly! Armor Edge is much much better at being smudge-proof!! It wipes off quite easily compared to Zagg!.

Great investment in eye health! My Blueguard screen protector was easy to install free of bubbles lesser screen protectors are prone to. Ive noticed a significant difference in my screen time exposure.

Less eye strain, sharper images by reducing the UV glare. Fit smoothly on my iPhone 12 all the way to the edges. Very happy with my Blueguard. Great investment in eye health!.

This screen protector protects more of the surface of my new phone which is great because I’ve had screens crack after landing on the tiny gap left between former screen protectors and the phone case.

I’ve only had the Blueguard protector for about a week, so I can’t speak to its efficacy in protecting my screen yet. However, the touch screen seems just as sensitive with the protector on as when it was off, so that’s good.

Also, the blue light filtration seems good 👍.

The mirror glass screen protector not terrible but there are a couple of things that would keep me from repurchasing or recommending it. First the positive. The mirror works well enough, it doesn’t distort your image.

It is a little dark though because it only works when your screen is off, but this is the same with any mirror screen protector. Here are my problems. It is much too small for the iPhone 7. I don’t know if it fits better on a 6, but in my opinion there is too much exposed surface area.

It is also so smooth to the touch that it almost feels slippery. Some might like this but to me it felt off. Overall, it’s not my favorite screen protector.

Works Great as A Screen Protector! But shows tons of fingerprints more than usually due to the mirror. Also reflects light which can be distracting. It also changes the color of the screen if not holding it straight at a certain angle in front of you.

Good screen protector. Was easy to get rid of bubbles after application but I wish there was a better way to place it on the actual screen so that it’s perfectly centered. Mirror is good but will have to test it out in sunlight to see how much it glares.
