The base and lenses are great for this price point. It seems like the light source is really cheap and flimsy though. The battery box, on/off switch and plug are all very cheap plastic. When it first arrived the light would flicker and then randomly turn off.

I removed the box checked the wiring and put it back together and it seems fine now. Overall, the scope seems very high quality and then they just threw in the cheapest light source and power supply they could find.

Still a good value for this price point, really impressed with the clarity of lenses. Bottom line, I would buy again but be prepared to return if you get a dud light.

She asked for a microscope for her birthday, so grandparents chipped in. Because she’s young, we knew to get a camera, too, so we could all watch the laptop screen as she learned to focus and move some prepared slides around.

We also got the inexpensive mechanical stage to enable her to slowly move slide around. Finally, we got some blank slides and cover glasses, so we could make slides. See video of lagoon water (near university) with green slime (dark areas), 2 days after feeding with ground cheerio (see youtubes from microbehunter).

Seeing live one-celled animals swimming in water was a big hit, all after maybe one hour of total use.

Involved parents and teachers can benefit from purchasing this microscope for younger children. It is easy to use, just needs a few instructions for a child that is into science. So many things can be viewed and a deeper interest is sparked.

Ordered and paid for a microscope last week. AM Scope chose to deliver by UPS. UPS claimed they had attempted to deliver even though I was home, then asked for another $140 for customs which I paid yesterday at 10:45 am, repromised for yesterday, now repromised for this afternoon.

YOU ARE JUDGED BY THE COMPANY YOU KEEP!!!. Next time I need a microscope, – likely next week, I’ll look elsewhere. I’ve heard ‘SORRY’ so many times it’s sickening. Find another courier. Olymus, Nikon, all make good products, with reliable couriers.

First impressions are important. I’ll be going elsewhere for my next microscope!.

After using the microscope for less that10 minutes, the metal housing of the upper halogen lamp was so hot that it burned my finger. That is the reason for my 1 star review. I would never allow a child near this microscope.

Ignoring the burn hazard, the views up to 40x were pretty good for an inexpensive microscope. At 80x magnification, the views were neither sharp nor clear. In order to swap eyepieces (which one needs to do to take advantage of the full range of magnifications), one has to loosen, then re-tighten, tiny set screws.

I do not recommend this microscope as configured. The WF20x eyepieces are totally worthless, making the scope unusable! The eye-point or eye-relief (distance from eyepiece to eye) is much too short. Even when not wearing glasses, and even with the comfort rubber eye-guards removed, it was impossible for me to get my eye close enough to the lens of the eyepieces to see a full field of view.

I could manage, with difficulty, to see a very small portion of the intended field of view, approx 15% of the area the scope was designed to show. It was like looking at a room through a keyhole. It’s not adequate enough to even use the stereoscopic feature of the scope.

I have tested the scope with 3 other sets of various power eyepieces I own, and the scope worked fine with all of those. So this is definately an eyepiece issue. To make maters worse, the supplied WF20X eyepieces have a tall ridge circling the eyepiece lens, and that lip contributes to making it impossible to get your eyes close enough.

Maybe it will work with some children, but it is worthless with my head. Though, I use microscopes a lot, and never had this problem with any other scope. I am flabbergasted as to why this combination of scope and eyepieces would be offered.

Was it not tested with many people? It “may” be possible to successfully use WF10X 30. 5mm eyepieces with this model, since those should have a higher eye-point? Or a set of 20X 30mm extremely widefield eyepieces design for eyeglass users (with some tape to get 30.

5 mm diameter). Unfortunately, you can’t be sure without purchasing, and doing your own testing. Though, I am keeping the scope, since other than the dysfunctional eyepieces, the scope is fine, built well and a good value, even though, I will need to purchase different eyepieces.

Not happy about that. Also note, if you wish to use a LED ring light with this microscope, the manufacturer does not offer a solution. None of their ring lights they sell can be mounted on this model.

That is a design flaw in my opinion.

For geology field work I had bulky Porro-prism 12×50 binoculars; I needed something more compact, with a sharper vision. but brands like Zeiss, Swarovski, etc. were too expensive. Animal watchers told me: 7x magnification, not higher, it’s more stable when looking at something; besides, with a 7×42 mm, it’s 1/3 more brightness than with a 10×42 ! important when watching wildlife with low light.

So I went for the Celestron (good reputation among starwatchers) 7×42 Nature DX ED model. The DX ED model seemed to optically better than the DX, for a slightly higher cost. When I looked for the first time through my new binoculars, compared to my old 12×50, it was like having gone through a cataract surgery !!! Such a bright vision, no gray haze, and sharper details than with many other binoculars with higher magnification.

The quick adjusting system for people wearing glasses is great; I don’t wear optical glasses, but often glacier sunglasses; with these binoculars, I don’t need to take off my glacier sunglasses. Sharpness: absolutely great ! I even could see, 13.

8 miles away from my home (and 7’300 ft higher), the Peak Walk narrow pedestrian suspension bridge between two peaks (@ Glacier3000, Swiss Alps), that I could not see with my old binoculars. Tell about great sharpness !!! For comparison, 13.

8 miles, it’s about 73’800 ft, more than the flight altitude of the spy-plane Lookheed U-2 !!.

I was interested in a pair of binoculars after spending more time walking nature trails in my neighborhood and larger community. We normally spot some birds, deer, or other animals on the route and wanted better views.

More recently too I had the opportunity to spend a week at the beach and brought them along to do some bird and plane spotting from the balcony. The bins performed admirably in both situations. The modest size and weight reduced fatigue while glassing for extended lengths of time.

The good field of view helped with acquiring coastal birds and aircraft in flight. The image quality is good and is free of any unusual color hues or artifacts that would detract from the overall image.

The feel in hand is good with all adjustment points functioning smoothly and the casing is easy to grip without being harsh on the hands. The other features like ED glass and fog proof/water proof weren’t immediately noticeable but it’s nice to know they are part of the package.

I would recommend these to a potential buyer.

Let’s start off with the good: The build quality feels great, and it has a nice weight to it. The mounting arms/flaps are big and sturdy, and just feel nice and overbuilt, in a good way. The camera also looks cool! The built in light is also a plus, and it’s cool how it’s easily adjusted by turning the ring on the outside of the light.

A clever design. Now for what I don’t like: The built in light is nice, but the image quality is worse than similarly priced models from LG. Don’t get me wrong, the image quality is not terrible, and there are other webcams which have worse quality.

But for the price, I am disappointed. The LG models I have tried do not actually need a light to get good image quality, while the Razer suffers from poor quality unless the light is on. Also, the controls from within the Razer Synapse app are not as user friendly and intuitive as those on the LG app.

I don’t like how I can not adjust the image in the Razer app while simultaneously using the webcam for lets say, a zoom call. Also, integration into Windows is also not as easy as the LG products I have used.

One other thing I don’t like about the Kiyo is that the low light compensation mode is enabled by default and there is no way to permanently disable it; it resets automatically. When this mode ison, the video from the cam is worse quality in exchange for trying to get a brighter picture.

I am in no way sponsored or supported or even a fanboy of LG, but from personal experience, I know I will buy one of their webcams next time instead of a Razer.

I’m really liking this webcam. The image quality is good, and, at least in my small, dark office, the built-in illumination does a great job of lighting up me and my surroundings. On Windows 10, setup was easy enough.

After connecting the USB-A cable and waiting a few seconds, a Razer installation window automatically opened. It makes you go through a couple of dialog screens before downloading a 351 MB (if you choose only the main application, Synapse).

After the installation is complete you’ll have access to a variety of image effect settings if you want it. A rather nice bonus for me is that this camera works with Linux, at least with Ubuntu 20. 04.

While I’d be surprised if it were officially supported, it worked out of the box for me. Cheese (a GNOME webcam application) detected it fine. And it also works fine under Google Meet. In addition to attaching to the top of a monitor, the webcam can sit flat on a surface, and it can be mounted on a tripod.

I have fairly thin bezels on my display, and the lip that hangs over the edge of the top of the monitor hangs down a little past the edge of the bezel, maybe around 2 millimeters or so. There’s a good amount of downward swing on the camera, so this issue can be mitigated by opening the back arm wider and leaning the entire mount back, so it’s not a big deal for me.

Overall, I’m quite happy with this webcam and would recommend it.

I use this for specific platforms for teaching internationally. Not ideal for a MAC. Lots of YouTube videos say it can be used. Download the app, pay 12$ to manage it. The webcam has a great image. The ring light is awesome, manually controlled, slightly irritating when running webinars.

It has difficulty focusing when objects like an iPhone with an image or an object are raised in front. My MAC webcam can adjust immediately. There is a delay periodically between actions, sound and image, again, frustrating during classes, I have to stop and refresh to reset the webcam.

Control panel on the app is okay and gives me enough control of the camera to make it fit my needs. I actually started with the Kiyo Pro, but the lighting control wasn’t as I expected and it was even worse for focusing.

DO NOT BUY DIRECT FROM RAZER, costing me a fortune to return and restock. waste of money when I could have bought it at Best Buy and exchange direct. Will I keep it, yes because it eliminates the need for additional lights for me which is why I bought it and the price wasn’t outrageous.

Would I buy it again, nope.

Not as flimsy as another product I have tried. It goes together easily and the stand and base are of good quality. But the problem is the mount from the stand to the camera (not a microscope). It’s not secure enought to hold the camera steady while you focus, so it’s focus, camera has moved, so focus again, camera has moved, so focus again.

Taking a picture was easy – once you got it focused! This is not a microscope, it is a close focusing camera. I would guess the magnification at about 20X or more if you move the camera very close. But 250X is just marketing.

I purchased this microscope for jewelry and coin collecting. It plugs into any standard USB port on any windows and more than likely any Apple computer as well. It includes instructions on where to go to download the drivers and software to get it to function with your computer, no software is included.

The setup in my case was very easy, I own a Dell laptop running latest version Windows. The only problem I have with mine is once I open the app and want to use the microscope, I have to manually select it in the app settings every time.

Kinda annoying but once its selected you dont have to do it again until you close and reopen the app. As far as performance is concerned Im impress d with the clarity and quality of the video it produces.

The closer you put the camera to the object the higher the magnification. I like to keep mine about two inches or so from whatever it is Im looking at unless I really need to focus in on a spot, then I can just bend it closer and re adjust the focus until the object becomes clear again.

Build quality is a little on the flimsy side but not bad for the price at all. I use it mainly to identify coins and check the quality of jewelry. It has already paid for itself many times over by helping me determine real from fake rare coins that Ive purchased here on eBay.

As far as grading coins is concerned, that is better left to using a 5x or 10x Loupe in my opinion because the microscope will show every single tiny mark and all coins, even high end mint state ones look badly damaged under it.

I would recommend this microscope to anybody who wants to get a closer look at anything really since it is cheap and works very well.

Great for small, solid objects. I bought it for seeing and sharing images of coin details, and for that it is great, and I would recommend it. I estimate it’s magnification at about 40x, with a maximum of about 100 on it’s highest, closest adjustment.

But don’t expect it to be a true microscope, which functions very differently – in part, by sending light through the object – and with much higher magnification. The digital microscope’s magnification varies with the distance from the object, and the gooseneck is not easy to manipulate with precision.

But this is easily remedied by making a platform out of wood blocks or small boxes that will lift the object closer to the digital “microscope” (rather than bringing the scope to the object). I put microscope in quotes, because I ended up getting a true microscope for parasitology, which this one is just not designed to do.

I really want to like this bar… when it works, it works. But the problem is that it often displays an “orange” light, which means it’s connected, but not playing the video from the camera when BYOD mode.

This is EXTREMELY frustrating. And there is nothing anywhere where it say how to fix the orange light. The only thing we have figured out is unplug, replug, turn device on and off, and repeat this a few times in a row until all the sudden it works again… I’m going to try to return it and find something more trustworthy.

Having purchased four of these devices I can tell you to avoid this if you use MS Outlook and MS Teams rooms. On the surface the product seems great but because their devices do not “see” MS Teams rooms when scheduled via the MS Outlook client they are worthless.

You cannot start your meeting from the Tap devices, which you pay extra for, from within the rooms. So when you are in the conference room you cannot join your scheduled meeting. Extremely deficient integration with MS Teams Rooms and Outlook clients.

Although it is a stiff, unbendable shaft, it does exactly what it was intended for. Articulation to the object you desire to see and capture. I have now used it to scope our aircraft cylinders and was amazed at the clarity and articulating abilities of this unit.

For the quality and price, I don’t think you can do any better. Caution: when ordering, insure you are getting the product that is shipped in an aluminum storage box. If it is in a cardboard box, you haven’t got the advertised unit from Vividia.

I will now look at upgrading to the next level where there is a flexible viewing shaft to further enhance the scope function. Note; the recommended app that the company recommends comes with allot of advertisements.

There are better free apps that do as well without the advertisements.

The borescope works as advertised. I use it for scoping valves on aircraft cylinders and attach it to a Google Pixel 2 cell phone. The USB-C connector that comes with the unit does not work. I had a different USB to usb-c on the shelf that did work, so you may want to buy a separate connector if you’re going to use it on am Android device.

The unit works well and the focal length is wide enough to get some detail that my other Chineseium wifi borescope doesn’t see.

I use this to borescope small aircraft engines. The picture quality and ease of use is fantastic. I really like the articulating head as looking at intake and exhaust valve without this feature is almost impossible.

The storage case is great. Worth every penny and more.

Was looking for a camera with good resolution that would capture a small area (1-2 inches) yet not get in the way. Exceeded my expectations. This camera is great.

This was a very nice microscope. Unfortunately, their software is not updated for Mac, so some functionality was missing that I needed, but return was fine.

Purchased the first pair for my grandson to use for sporting events and such, and he loved them so much I purchased a second pair for myself. Here are my comments after looking them over at home. First they are a bit on the heavy side for a compact binocular, but manageable.

Focus is spotty as you extend the zoom, but I think that would be the case with other zoom binoculars. Here was my biggest issue, which unfortunately lead to my returning them. The ocular distance was not too narrow (close together) for my facial build.

If I placed them over my right eye I could only see portion of the field out of left eye, and the opposite was true if you reversed position. If they swung open just bit more this would have avoided the problem.

These are not on display in the store so there was no way to know this until I tried them out at home. Of course the staff at the store was very helpful and courteous at the return counter so they deserve a positive comment in that regard.

Still would recommend, but keep the narrow field of view in mind.

These are bookshelf goggles for looking at the park through the front window. For the price, it doesn’t matter if they get dropped or coated with dust. For viewing people 125 yards away, they’re so-so.

I would only use the word “crisp” to describe the cereal the kids jammed in the lens corners. The zoom isn’t steady-state focus, so it can’t be used with any utility. Leave it at about 8 1/2 or 9 and that’s as good as it gets.

Not good in low light/evening, as shadows mush together. The biggest problem I’ve found is that my eyes are too far apart for the frame, so I have to look through them at an angle.

This item has done very well for me. I got these for hunting. I can see clearly at early dusk and late evening and the visual clarity in daylight is stunning. I’ve only had to use up the 25 magnification but even at this level of magnification these binoculars have stunning vision.

I sit 200 yards from the trees in my plot and from this distance I can see where leaves attach to the tree perfectly and clearly. I do not understand why other are saying these are simply great for the price or saying that they are not clear for them.

I can attest that this product is something you want for the quality of you don’t want to spend 1,000’s on something that will work the same as these. I LOVE these binoculars.

Before purchasing, I contacted Autel customer support. I asked them if I could get a camera head that would fit thru a 1/4 inch hole, Yes they said, we have a 5. 5mm head that will work with this system.

I found that I could get the 5. 5mm head only from China and a wait of 2 months. Thinking that Tech support was telling me the truth (stupid me) I ordered this system from JB Tools. JB immediately sent out the system without any problems.

One month later the 5. 5mm head arrives, but I could not get any video from it on the monitor, after calling tech support AGAIN, the “engineer” tells me ” the 5. 5mm head will NOT work with this system” ( even though the box it came in says “5.

5mm head Optional” so now I am stuck with a $150. 00 system and a $60. 00 5. 5mm head that I cannot use.

If low light, screen is easily read. But if outside and bright, all I can see is the reflection of my face. Screen should have been made non-glare or OLED. On the plus side, I like the brightness adjustment and the zoom and rotate controls.

Has great close-up focus. LED works nice in small spaces. Side camera is helpful seeing valves behind the camera by turning camera 90° against piston.

I purchased an LS2 scope helmet from Motardinn. When I received the helmet, the sun visor was not working. It would not retract when the slider button was engaged. I was going to return the helmet, but decided to try and fix it myself.

I discovered that the cable connecting the switch to the visor was disconnected. I connected it, and it works fine now. The helmet is great value for the price. Nice quality construction, and perfect fit.

Very happy indeed.

It fits well. It seems like a good quality. It comes with a pinlock. At this price, this is awesome. No fog, even during winter or under rain. It’s comfy and everything needed for a 10/20 min drive to work each day.

It’s a bit noisy, doesn’t filter much the sounds of circulation or wind. It’s good and bad. I wouldn’t wear this helmet for long rides.

Just started running this – fits nicely and flows air fairly well. Does fog up when stationary with the visor down, but does shed pretty quickly (maybe I just breathe too heavily from my mouth?). Getting a light modular + pinlock for the price is good.

Only downside is the shell being made of thermoplastic – but accept it or get something else. Fit is superb and comfy even after hours of wearing.
