I purchased it for my dad who is 4 th stage cancer and is very tired. Took him on a trip to SF to daughter’s graduation. He was able to ride it at pier 39 and thru fishermans warf. Had to tell them it is a medical scooter.

I did buy it because it’s supposed to fit two. Mother is disabled to. She couldn’t sit far enough back so his knees were squeeze. Took him to the beach. He loves it. Better when mom’s not on. It sits kind of low in one part.

I bought him a ramp to load and unload. He can just drive it right up on the truck but unloading is a little harder. It has to be picked up over the ramp in order to roll down. Keep in mind the size of the elevators we had to maneuver it around to fit.

But he loves it and can get around places that he can’t walk to far. It’s like his little Harley. I am so happy with the purchase he can do so much more with it. Not really to good for two.

I just received my E Wheels EW-11 Euro # Wheel Scooter today. Shipping was great. I received it in one week. Packaging was really secure. The driver helped us unload and was so kind and patient until we opened it to inspect for damage.

I was so impressed with how great it looks. It doesn’t look like a mobility scooter but is very stylish and modern looking. Which is what I wanted because I am not disabled. just getting older and can’t walk as far as I used to.

I can’t take it out right now because we have snow on the ground here in PA. lol I want to thank Robert for the wonderful way that he followed up to make sure I was a satisfied customer. But it goes beyond that.

He was so kind and made sure that I was taken care of and happy with my purchase. When I first went on line to purchase this scooter a very nice man. Angel walked me through the whole process and was not just curtious.

I am incredibly impressed with the quality of this mobility scooter, as well as the comfort and sporty style. This little jewell will aid us greatly during our campgrounds stays, allowing us the freedom and ease to get around.

With our hip and knee problems, getting around campgrounds was previously limited. We began this purchase mid-summer 2020, and due to the Covid-19 pandemic shipment was delayed. However, throughout the wait, the folks at Upzy kept us up-to-date on the status of the delivery throughout the entire process.

I had paralytic poliomyelitis as a kid, and all of my life I’ve had to wear braces on both legs. Up till recently, I walked around places like Disneyland, and zoos, etc. , but now I have four grandkids who like to race around everywhere, and I can’t keep up.

So, I decided that it was time to buy an electric scooter. I tried a 3-wheel, but it was too unstable, especially when travelling “sideways”, across an incline. For example, where I live, the entire sidewalk slopes at every driveway, and I was constantly worried about tipping over to the side when I rode across those sloping parts of the sidewalk.

So, I looked carefully at various 4 wheel models. I wanted one that could fit in the back of our car (Volvo XC60), and that my wife & I could load & unload. Some were large and powerful (stable, and could deal with fairly steep hills), but were correspondingly too heavy.

Some were made for traveling (including flying), but looked too flimsy (possibly unstable). I settled on this one, from Vive Health. I’m delighted. Easy to load into car: 1. First, remove the battery.

It is moderately heavy, and I can’t easily keep my balance when lifting with two hands, but the battery has a solid handle, allowing me to load it into the car myself, using one hand (leaning on the car with the other hand, to help me balance).

2. Then, lift the seat off its spindle (it’s quite light), put in car. 3. Unscrew the cable that connects the rear wheels / motor to the front part of the unit. 4. Pull up a “ring” to disconnect the rear wheels / motor from the front part of the unit.

5. Fold down the steering column on the front part of the unit, and put that into the car. It’s quite light, but I have to have help with this, because it needs two hands to lift it. My (able bodied) wife & I can do it easily.

She holds the grab-bar at the front, and at the back there is a plastic handle that I hold, with one hand. 6. Finally, lift the rear wheels / motor into the car. This is the heaviest part, but I can do it myself by gripping (one-handed) the spindle that holds the seat.

Easy to “rebuild” when you arrive at your destination. Take everything out of the car (I can do most of that myself, though my wife helps with the front part of the unit). Then, basically, you simply reverse what you do when getting it ready to load into the car.

Take about 2 minutes from opening the car’s rear liftgate, to being ready to go. Although it’s quite small, it’s far more stable than the 3 wheel scooter that I tried. I can cross the sloping parts of the sidewalk without freaking out.

I have used it, several times, at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. It has quite a few mild inclines, all of which this scooter traverses easily. On a horizontal surface, it goes faster that most people would want to walk, so now I can keep up with the family (my beloved wife sometimes orders me to slow down 🙂 ).

After 3 trips there, the battery still has plenty of charge left. Limitations? Yes, but none of them are a surprise. It won’t easily travel on soft surfaces (grass, soft dirt). It won’t handle steep hills.

It’s quite small so (as others have posted) it may be a bit awkward for tall people. Bottom line: 5 stars. We are lucky enough to own a second home in a different city, and I’m thinking about buying a second unit for when we’re there.

I got a chance to try out my Vive 4 wheel mobility scooter, yesterday. I have COPD and have been on O² for 3 years. I can get around pretty good, but walking more than 50 yds. drives my blood O² down, which causes my heart rate to go way up.

I went to a minor league baseball game and had a great time. I’m amazed at how far the battery goes. Parked across the street, went for a cup of coffee, got in the stadium and made several trips, up and down the area past the food vendors, couple hundred yards per lap.

Back too my Jeep, after the game. I only used one of the eight lights, on the battery indicator. The only changes I would like to see, more ground clearance and the armrests. I’m pretty short and my short arms don’t reach the rests.

It would help if they were height adjustable and the plastic piece that the arms set in, is uncomfortable. The house I live in has a wheelchair ramp, that I worried might be a little to much of an angle.

I went down it, in low speed and we I got home, I cranked up the speed and shot to the top of the ramp, without a problem. Keep improving them, your almost perfect.

Purchased a four-wheel scooter for my wife who has much trouble with back pain. She loves this scooter and the freedom it gives her. We live in Orlando, Florida and love to walk around the various theme parks (especially Disney).

Before the scooter, her back pain made this almost impossible – far too much walking. Now we visit the parks almost weekly and the scooter works great. As I stated in the title, the battery life is amazing.

In the last two weeks she has traveled around three of the Disney parks and I have not had to charge the battery as yet. When we first received the chair there was a problem with the battery connections with the chair.

The Vive service group were extremely friendly and helpful and very quickly they shipped me a new battery which so far has worked perfectly. The size in also great – easily fits in my trunk and it is not too heavy for me to pick up and assemble (I only remove the seat and it is easy to re-install).

Received on 4/27/22 my experience has been awful the $3339 scooter from Scooter Supermarket was a piece of junk would not go forward for more than a foot although reverse was fine trying to return it is costing me $1300 ! I DO NOT RECOMMEND PRODUCT or seller they are rude and nonconforming! I can’t walk at all and trying to get around was impossible the emergency bake didn’t work and hand breaks are shotty! I was told by seller it’s an all terrain scooter, it’s definitely Not! So if you want to get around w/o breaking down buy American made products!.

Still getting use to bigger size scooter, with that said it is harder to use in stores and doctor offices because of its size. I do miss a front basket, the basket in rear does not help me as I’m unable to reach it.

When going up a hill, you need to have it on medium to high speed. If you stop on the hill the scooter brakes do not hold. I’ve rolled down hills now that can become a bit scarry, and unsafe. Also scooter ramps that are at a certain angle the brakes will not hold if you stop.

I’ve rolled down them as well. For outside use it is great. The speed is nice and the head light is bright. It goes up and over side walks pretty good. If you are in reverse and try to back over a hump, unless you have a little speed it will not go over.

So I have gotten it stuck. The parking break does not always hold it and even if you turn it off, if the parking break is not on at a level spot, it will not hold. So you can not park this scooter on any type of hill up or down.

It will roll away on you even with the so called parking break. The seat is very comfortable and the suspension is a great add. I do like how visible it is in the dark with all the running lights. So if your looking for more of an outdoor scooter this has some nice features.

If your looking for a scooter to use for shopping and indoor use, you may want to reconsider.

Fit and finish is great. It looked like it would be top heavy in the pictures but it’s not. The brakes were out of adjustment when I got it, the rear worked but not very well, the front wouldn’t stop the scooter.

I took them apart, identified how they should work and adjusted them. They now work fine. Over-all, I am happy with the scooter.

I got this for my Mum who loves it. She has looked at others on the market but at 87 she doesn’t want an “old ladies scooter!” It is easy to put together and dismantle after a couple of goes and easily fits into the boot of a fiesta when broken into two parts.

The gentleman who delivered it was helpful and knowledgeable and it was delivered at a time suitable for us. The scooter is well made and stylish. The only issue we have is that it comes with a right handed throttle and mum has had an operation on her right hand which makes her grip weak.

There is a modification which can be performed, at an extra cost, to change it to a left handed throttle. Having purchased the scooter – which is not cheap- you then have to pay more money to change the position of the throttle.

Surely this option should be determined at the time of purchase so that the disabled Are not discriminated against. Would have scored 5* if not for this issue. Thank you QVC for including some mobility products in your programmes.

I have been using the Atto for a few weeks now so will give a honest review based on my experiences. I have been using a regular scooter for a couple of years now that I hire. But because I live in a small terrace house I don’t have anywhere to store a normal size scooter as it would not be able to go through my front door.

So I am in the market for a scooter that I can bring into the house so its safe from the weather and from being stolen. The Atto seems to fit the bill so I watched the video on QVC and have bought one.

Here Is an honest opinion on this scooter. Its easy to charge and charges quickly you do get a good 8/10 miles on one charge but I live in London where there are a lot of slopes so it does not always do that mileage.

The issue with the battery indicator is that it goes to around the three bar mark flashes then cuts out totally. This is an irritation because you are expecting it to stop when it gets to one bar not three.

so you will have to get used to this so you dont get stuck and have to freewheel it back home. The next issue is the operation panel: mine failed after 3 days. This means that you cannot use the scooter at all.

Even when fully charged. I noticed that in the demonstration that the panel failed on the scooter the presenter was using. so she had to stop using the panel. This is not great as you can’t move the scooter forward/backward or even stop the scooter.

I have had to get a new scooter which is not great after a few days use. The good things are its quite easy to fold but it takes a wee bit of time to get used to it. The more you use it the easier it gets.

Its not super lightweight so if you have issues you may need help but its doable. I fold it outside and wheel it into the house and I have back issues. You could also split it as shown to bring into the house or car boot.

Comfort when driving is ok its quite supportive specially with the cushion but you cant fold it with the seat cushion in place. other issues for me is it does not have a key so you have to be careful if you want to park it somewhere.

I take out the battery as a precaution if I have to leave it in say a waiting room etc. also it does not have any lights so when its dark you cant drive the scooter on the pavement Being a three wheeler does have limitations you have to relearn how to go up and down slopes and you cant make sharp turns as you will fall off the scooter.

I would not recommend this scooter if you cant walk at all you need some level of mobility to use it. Overall I love this scooter its lovely to look at, folds relatively easy if you dont have major issues with your hands or back its doable.

Another issue is the noise and its not great on roads that are cracked or uneven it will rock about quite a bit. You dont get the cushioning that you get on larger scooter because the wheels are small and its a three wheeler I hope the software on my new scooter does not let me down all you can do is use it a lot when you get it so if there are issues then you will be well within your guarantee period.

The idea behind this scooter is good it does need some tweaking but its given me freedom to go out when I want and its easy to use and store and charge. its also great in tight spaces when your inside or out.

Use the QVC guarantee period to see if its for you.

The best part of this scooter is the battery (I travelled 10 miles on my first outing),but you certainly need a reasonably strong able bodied person with you to open and shut the scooter. We found it very awkward.

The video showing it going in the overhead locker is, in my opinion, nigh impossible due to its weight. I am very disappointed with it and trying to return it!! Phoned 14 days ago, heard nothing, phoned twice more and was told it would be picked up in another 14 days, in the mean time I have had to pay another £668.

Love the machine. until it stopped working. Called this company. they told me to call a company called WSR since EW seems to not work on them, only sells them. WSR does not have a place here that works on them either, they told me to take it to a car mechanic, like they are going to be able to work on it, lol.

I live in a big city I guess you could say, Louisville, KY. I have called all the scooter places I could find, nobody can work on them so word of caution, make sure that someone in your area can work on them before you buy an E-Wheels scooter.

I recently purchased an EW-38 from a dealer, but as a long time Prime member I wanted to post a review of this scooter. On Monday 4-3-19 I received my EW-38. Haven ridden it a few times to local stores I have some impressions.

First I am 78 years old and weight 200 lbs. Several other reviews I read before purchasing I feel need clarification as many were wrong or limited. It came with 2 keys and remotes, the remote controls an alarm system, when set the slightest movement sets off a loud alarm that should discourage all but the most determined thieves.

The ignition and the rear release for the under seat storage compartment work smoothly. First, some have said the throttle was basically an on/off switch. This is not correct, it is indeed a variable throttle, but is does require a gentle touch.

Older ads and even the manual supplied says speed is controlled with a rotary dial. This was replaced with a 3 position switch under the Rt brake lever, labeled I, II and III, slowest is I the fastest was III.

One reviewer said it was the opposite but it is not. He also said he couldn’t tell the difference in I II. Top speed in each is different and is fairly noticeable. Next is the Electric Magnetically Brake System has problems.

I’m sure this system is designed to protect some that might have difficulty operating the hand brakes, also the brakes are not all that effective. The brake automatically activates when the throttle is backed off, even slightly and they pretty much lock up the w.

I have ridden this scooter for seven months and there are good and bad reviews. It is a solid scooter with good looks , I do not like the automatic braking when you release the throttle. The parking brake is nonexistent.

There is no manual to help you with minor repairs , nothing to help with changing tires. The suspension is barely felt and the help from any of the dealers is minimal with deceit from most of the dealers.

They do not answer emails nor most phone calls. My battery lasted 7 months with new batteries at a cost at 250 dollars for four. Thy do not supply a manual for replacing the batteries. I do not recommend this product.

I would buying a Honda scooter with gas. Forget The 45 Miles It Is Only In Their dreams.

I just received my Vive 4-wheel scooter and it’s a beauty. It was easy to put together- most of it was already assembled. I took it out for a drive and it moves out – never knew 3. 7 mph could feel so fast! I haven’t tried to Load it into my small SUV but I am pretty sure I will be able to do so very easily.

I purchase the 4-wheel design for more stability and I do feel very comfortable using it (I just need to watch the speed!). I was even able to take my dog for a quick walk yesterday and he loved running along with it – just have to keep an eye on him and where I’m going.

Just one note – I wish you carried a way to store my cane while using the Vive – otherwise it’s great! Thank you.

I will not repeat what has already been said only that I agree 100%. I ordered a 2nd complete battery pack because I use this on our farm. I have never had to use it. About 5 years ago I designed a system to mount a front huge basket for shopping.

Because stores that supply their shopping electronic cards all the fat 40’s are using them. I have 2 replaced hips, broken back in 3 places (surgery) and a knee that needs replacing. I need this scooter to load up at the store.

I will get around to sending the idea to corporate some day. You truly will enjoy this scooter, On 2nd thought I still look at scooters just for fun but what really hit me is that the price is fantastic.

It is still selling today for what I paid for so many years ago. I can not remember how long I have had it. Dinger been 10 years or so time goes so fast.

We purchased a mobility scooter for a family member with a traumatic brain injury. The scooter was suppose to come apart in 5 pieces with none weighing more than 35 lbs. The 2 base pieces came and were jammed together and could not be separated using the lever.

We called and sent a video as requested. We were told that we would receive a return authorization number to send back the damaged scooter. That was on June 14, 2022. It is now July 25, 2022 and no label and no one will help us with this.

Our family member is not in a position to lose the money for this scooter. I urge you not to purchase from this company. I so wish that I did not. I have a scooter sitting in a box in our living room and it can not be used.

I have a question. When the scooter sets over night and I turn it on the next day it has to set a while with the power light blinking for about 5 min till the light comes on solid is that normal. When it is working it is wonderful and a joy to use.

Also when I received the scooter the wire basket was all bent up and contorted. I had to pound it out the best I could to fit it to the scooter. We would up purchasing a different basket.

Beautiful, sleek, and the red shows up against the gray of the PNW. All the younger neighbors want one. Two pieces of feedback from my 88-year-old Dad. The black buttons on the dashboard are hard to differentiate from one another.

Need to be larger and white print on the black buttons perhaps. The brakes need to be better as it is close to impossible to totally avoid hills of any kind.

I feel that his snappy-looking scooter will not fulfill all of the requirements of most consumers. The manufacturer has not provided information that one cannot subject this vehicle to any dousing of water.

To do so will cause a seepage into the electronics, therefore causing extensive/expensive damage, and any repairs can only be made by their certified mechanics, and no service manuals can be purchased by the consumer! Standard equipment other than airbags, is equipped on this vehicle, but no mention was included in all advertisement that the vehicle is not designed for road use.

Not only is there no title or Vin number (therefore ineligible for licensure), it rides like a wagon and will tip over if one wheel rides over a curb or other obstruction. I am also disappointed in E-Wheels president, Jack Rubin, who has failed to respond to my concerns! In addition, I feel like I have invested in a vehicle unsuitable for my needs! N.

My 20 year old bought this. It has given him his independence to get back and forth to work on his own. It is very comfortable and easy to operate. He is very lightweight so it goes pretty fast even on the low settings.

Everyone stops him and asks where he got it. Customer service has been outstanding both here and the transportation companies in shipping.

I would highly recommend this VIVE 3-wheel scooter. I bought it for my “very young” 96-year old mother who was having difficulty walking from a variety of medical issues. She adapted very quickly to operating the scooter and is absolutely thrilled with it.

She’s only had the scooter for 3 days and it’s already making a big difference on her quality of life at her senior community. One of the reasons I bought a 3-wheeler was for its maneuverability, and this one doesn’t disappoint.

The turning radius is amazing, allowing her to get into tight spaces with ease. My only criticism of the design is the location of the receptable on the battery for plugging in the charging cable. The receptable is on the front of the battery, very low below the seat, and not well delineated.

It is thus extremely difficult for an elderly person to bend down and find the hole to plug in the cable. A flashlight could help but isn’t very practical. I solved the problem for my mother by cutting a square of WHITE duck tape, cutting a hole in the center to accommodate the round plug, and placing the tape over the receptable.

This made the hole more visible and my mother was much better able to plug in the cable. It’s too bad that the designers couldn’t have placed the charging hole on the side of the battery or some other place where it would be more accessible.

Other than that, this scooter is a winner!.

This is an updated review on my Vive 3 wheel scooter. I’ve had this scooter since May 2020 and it has performed flawlessly. I have found different uses for this little workhorse such as attaching my wheeled trashcan to the back and driving it to the curb at the end of the driveway.

I can ride around the yard and pick up trash & debris. Uses are only limited by your imagination. The LED headlight brightens your way at night and the horn works well when needed. Battery life has continued to be amazing.

So far, I’m impressed.

The Vive 3-Wheel Scooter is well worth the money. It assembles fast and easy. It goes forever on a single charge, I mean like miles & miles. The seat is very comfortable and easy to get on and off. To the Vive Engineering dept.

The scooter has very little ground clearance and can get hung up on as little as a 2 inch curb. If the wheels were increased 2 inches in diameter that would allow one inch more of ground clearance. (very helpful).

Due to all the tires being solid you feel every little bump and crack. Pneumatic tires option would fix this issue vs the real fix which would be a small spring suspension set up on the front and rear.

The arm rests are almost useless due to the fact that they are at least 3 inches too low which does not allow the rider to rest or lean on them. The scooter will tip sideways easily on the slightest slope.

The fix would be to have an option that would allow you to extend each of the rear wheels outward an inch or two.

Where do I begin? I should probably pull over on the side of the road to complete this review. (Just kidding), but I do take this scooter everywhere. To work. To class. To the store. What a terrific mini vehicle.

and It has great power when fully charged and since we are talking about “charging” there’s a few things I’d have altered about this scooter model. 1. The dash board should have an indicator of how much life is left in the battery.

It’s always guess work after a about an hour of riding. 2. When using the headlights at night, it drains the battery extremely fast. Almost to half. 3. Make sure not to go full speed when making turns.

cause you will surely go flying off the scooter. Aside from that, I am very pleased with my purchase and hope to have my EWheels 10 for many years to come.

I really like this scooter so far. Its main weakness for me is slowing on slopes and inability to handle angles greater than 12 degrees. To make it up into my garage, I plan to try the 2nd gear next since 1st did not work completely.

The pages sent to me as a User Guide is helpful but has major omissions which caused me to call the Tech Representative and be put on hold. The simple action needed to lift the seat was not included in my pages and the photo of the emergency/parking brake is not correct for my model of scooter.

A User Guide should be complete and accurate for users and not require calls to Tech Support. Please correct this and respect your customers.

Received shipment on time! My first excursion was a local car show. Carlisle Fall Show is 82 acres of classic cars and parts! I rang up about 14 miles of stopping and starting, hills ect. Being 300+ pounds the scooter still had over half battery life left.

I received many compliments and questions about the EW10! I am extremely pleased with the purchase! The only thing i would change is the back up alarm is extremely loud! THANK YOU!.

I got this for my 87 year old dad and it is awesome! The scooter folds and can fit in the trunk or at his feet in the car. We plan on taking it on a cruise in 2 weeks and I had to decrease the speed setting because that thing goes fast! This is a good feature but I know my dad would cruise too fast LOL.

I love that it has portability and can be taken as a carry-on and it’s lightweight. The safety feature that I like the most is that the key comes off and it won’t ride by itself or be stolen while we are eating or if we go to a Disney park.

I researched several scooter models and different sites and I do recommend the Gypsy and buying from this store due to the financing and ease to navigate the website. Also, a representative called me the next day and wanted to make sure all my questions were answered.

That alone built confidence in the store for me, but he also told me about the warranty and to call them if I ever needed anything related to the scooter in the future. 5- stars product and customer service!.

It took me 2 months to research and I chose the EV gypsy Rider. It is light weight and can get folded easily. I bought it so that I can take it on a cruise, airplane, or to the resort. Everything about it is excellent.

The motor is powerful enough to let me ride on the grass. If you left the key in, a power timer will deactivate the motor. You need to pull the key out and plug it back in to activate it again. I still can’t figure out where to configure the power timer.

This is light & will serve its purpose wonderfully. It will not be used on a daily basis as it is to make a family guest feel mobile to join us for outings. It’s turn is a little wider than expected so a bit of reversing to straighten up is needed.

Looks like it came with an extra battery. Very pleased with the purchase but if used inside a lot you may way want to look at something with a sharper turn or have wide doorways.

The scooter itself met all expectations in terms of being an excellent mobility device – ease of handling, manoeuvrability in small spaces such as store aisles, and ride comfort. Unfortunately the auto fold did not work and we had to use the manual fold.

The scooter is everything I wanted. I never received the free gifts (cup holder and arm bag). I called 2 times and was told the gifts were on the way. Still haven’t received them!

But, the electric fob won’t work. Either will the button on the back fold it. So we have to do it manually. The co is working with that to get it fixed. Otherwise we are enjoying it. Gives my partner real freedom.

I love my EZWheels. For those in California because this can go upto 25 MPH state law required it be registered with DMV! It’s not that expensive and dmv will issue a VIN and tags for this scooter! But a drivers license is not needed! I was pulled over by city police and they was nice and told me about the law! They never gave me a ticket so I went into dmv Costa Mesa and confirmed this makes it easier to if needed ride in the streets when there is not sidewalks or bike lanes! And I was able to get insurance in case of an accident which is also a plus! The only thing I don’t like about the whole wheel company is that getting replacement parts takes a while due to Covid-19! The stereo is am and so wish It was both am and FM! I love in a studio apartment and sometimes I have to slide the chair test or right to get it into the door! But this chair will not fit in city buses as it it to big! I love the fact it can go 45 miles on a single charge! I can spend the day out and about and with the alarm I done need to worry!.

I want one of your scooters so very badly but not many Medicare recipients, we can’t get one of your scooters. The small side business will allow you to service the many, many, many Medicare patients can afford your scooter with Medicare , but cannot afford one without it.

I know the hassle of dealing with government medical insurance ( I’m a retired social worker), but I also know that if you had a side business that only dealt with Medicare it would be extremely profitable for you and extremely helpful for Medicare recipients like me.

And it would not slow down your other business with all the government red tape. Someone who is familiar with gov bureaucracy could complete the necessary paperwork with little to no problem so that the customer win and so do you.

Have on ly been out three times but have enjoyed the ease of ride every time. Once you get the hang of all the different controls and how to use them, it is pretty much sailing. My only trepidation is on grassy inclines (small ones at that) but will keep trying.

It is a fun ride! LOVE the cruise control! One problem, back carrier is not well grounded so rattles on all rides. Should be finished with a cording to stifle bouncing and banging.

I received my EW-36 yesterday and I charged it according to the manuel. It took about 7 and a half hours to fully charge. I was instantly impressed with it right away. I didn’t take it our for long but long enough to know that it goes faster than advertised.

I love all the bells and whistles as this amazing scooter has them all ( or at least all you could need to be happy you bought it ) I took my steep driveway like nothing flat, with the speed dial at one quarter power setting which translates to power without a doubt.

If anyone is still on the fence about purchasing one of these great scooters then do your homework like I did. I researched everything I could find and I decided this scooter was the best one for the money.

Electric Wheelchairs USA gave me back my freedom and they will be happy to do the same for you. Their staff was friendly knowlegable and the price was the lowest I was even offered a chance to find it cheaper so they would honor that price.

Luckily for the them I couldn’t find a cheaper price. So instead of whining that you can’t get around STOP. You can get around with the EW-36 and be safe while looking good on this eye catcher.

I was really impressed when we got the scooter unpacked. It was gorgeous. On my first ride, I encountered a problem. It wouldn’t go over the edge of the driveway from a slight grassy hill. I helped it over that and onto our driveway, which is mildly steep.

Backward I went with the throttle fully engaged. Scary? Yep. I had to put on the emergency brake in order to get off safely. I chalked that all up to inexperience. Next day, I took it into the back pasture where it is only slightly rough and rolling.

The long delay once the throttle is engaged to when the scooter started again sent me rolling backward down the slopes. When it finally engaged (if it did) it almost flipped over backward. Slightly rough areas made it impossible to steer.

OK. I bought it to be able to jog the dogs in that field, and that certainly wasn’t going to work. To give it a chance, I tried it on the road in our subdivision. Knowing its hill issues, I gunned it to go up one of the slopes and stopped at the top to wait for my companion.

Again, the delay in engagement sent me flying backward down the slope. I hade to use my leg as I would with a kid’s scooter to get moving forward. Once moving, the ride is OK, and one can move at high speed.

But at the stop sign and virtually no slope at all, again I couldn’t get it moving forward. Because of the apparent lack of power and erratic handling on even slightly irregular surfaces, I would not recommend it for anyone unless the roads are flat and groomed to perfection.

I certainly would not recommend it at all for a child or impaired senior.

i am a ew36 owner for 2 years. satisfied customer. i had to replace batteries before a year. duracells replaced the cheap batteries that came with it. next working on replacing left brake handle. the controller is shaking loose.

had to replace nuts an bolts for controller. last but not least when calling ewheels you are put on hold an forgotton. lousy customer service. but i do like it. close to 24 mph.

The 2018 EW-36 is an excellent scooter, capable of long runs with strong battery charge, and high speed for fun. Its very maneuverable and easy to steer. Braking is fantastic! It has great off-road capability on lawns, parks, gravel roads.

My 2018 model has wide tires and fabulous acceleration! I am very impressed by this product, its utility and fun! This was the perfect purchase for me. The seating is very comfortable and secure, with armrests on both sides.

The headlight is good for night driving. People comment on the styling and good looks of the machine. I can make it to the grocery and discount stores, auto-parts store, dry cleaner and others. I mostly use it for pleasure driving, to the park and out along the trails.

I can get closer to nature than in my car – feel the breeze and smell the different vegetation as I drive along. I am surprised at how well it handles going over bumps and across branches on the path.

I even got the machine airborne accidentally over broken pavement at high speed that created a ramp up and then an immediate drop of about 8″ (I don’t recommend doing this) – it landed fine with complete control and no damage, but I won’t do that again! Darrell at MedMart was excellent to work with, I got exactly the machine I wanted and his service after the sale was terrific! This is a top-notch company! When you receive your machine, take your time learning how to ride: * Your first trial runs should leave you with half the battery or more, as you learn how far you can go on a charge.

Then gradually extend your range on subsequent runs as you watch the battery charge indicator. * I use the speed limiting dial to limit my top speed to about 16MPH, in the idea that will extend the driving range.

16MPH feels plenty fast and fun, but my EW-36 will reach a bit above the specified 18MPH, at 19-20MPH. * Take some time to learn how the strong braking works, and how the machine turns. I have never come close to feeling uneasy on the corners, but I slow down for the sharp curves.

This is a very stable machine! * My machine has an automatic brake that will quickly stop the machine if you let go of the accelerator. I have found that to make gradual smooth stops, I often keep just a bit of power on with my right hand, while gently braking with my left brake.

* The EW-36 is easy for me to roll around in the garage an on pavement with the power off. * Battery charging seems fairly fast. But don’t take your battery down to 1/4 charge or less, I have read online there is the possibility that you could weaken the battery internally and limit how much charge it will carry.

* Over your first few runs, you may find that the battery pack will be able to store a bit more charge each time, like mine did. A small amount, but just noticeable, as I was paying close attention. * I am able to make two long runs each day, morning and evening, charging in-between.

This is our 3rd scooter. The first was wonderful, but was too slow for my husbands taste. Second, we got a motor scooter that needs a license plate, and drives on the roads at 45 mph; and that was too fast.

This scooter is perfect! It comfortably goes about 20 mph, but you have complete control over the speed with the speed dial and the brakes. We always drive it at 50% on the speed dial. It is comfortable, easy to drive, and has ample storage (storage under the seat, and a large basket on the back with a lid that snaps closed.

) The EW36 Elite came fully assembled. The little rear stability wheels caught on the palette when we were trying to roll the scooter off the shipping palette, so a piece of plywood or other board is needed when you go to roll the scooter off the palette.

Then you attach the rear view mirrors, and go! The scooter came fully charged, so there was no waiting. This scooter does not come apart for transport; but we have found that we are not interested in transporting it.

My husband just drives where he wants to go, and we live within a half mile of several small shopping plazas, so there are things to do. We are planning a little longer trip out to the State Park. The description on Amazon says it comes with a weatherproof cover; but we didnt get that.

The salesman from the company spoke with us several times on the phone before the scooter arrived, so there was good communication there. I understand that the difference between the EW36 and the EW36 Elit.

I finally found out how to use this scooter, its loads of fun. I just have no place to store it through out the freezing winter, except in the van. I bought an water proof cover for it. I hope the batteries do not burst / corrosion.

I have no way to get them out. They are located in such an awkward place. Im also worried about the technical parts in the 15 below zero weather. Will the freezing weather ruin the scooter?.

I was looking for a mobility scooter to use on a cruise. I Considered the rental scooters that are available where the scooter is in your stateroom when you get on the ship, but there were some mixed reviews on those, so I started looking to purchase one.

I looked at the weight, speed, capacity and cost. The Snap n Go came out best overall. I purchased one from a dealer and less than a month later I was taking it on the cruise. It seems like every airport has gotten big and you have to go a long ways from check-in to the gate and the gate to baggage claim and I don’t know if I could have made it.

Using it on the ship was great, with cruise ships getting bigger every day. I did generate some interest from some of the other passengers that saw me zipping around and also using it on excursions, including one in Rome with 4 miles of cobblestone streets to ride.

All of the staffs from the airlines to shuttles to the ship were extremely helpful with the entire process and now I can’t wait until my next cruise in February.

I love this scooter. Have had it for 8 months, and so far it has been very reliable. I use it every other day to walk my dog since I can no longer walk long distances. Takes hills well. It has three modes of power.

0ne and two are for flat walkways, and three is for inclines and hills. I like the three wheels because the front allows the greatest movement for the leash. My dog and I have put on a 160 miles so far.

The three wheels give me maneuverability to keep up with my dogs P-mail stops. I store it in my front guest closet. The seat is a bit heavy to lift, so if you have strength or back issues, it would be best to store it in the garage and bring in the battery during winter.

A full charge can take hours. I charge it for the next time as soon as I get it inside. No complaints so far. When walking the dog use a contractable leash so you can control it’s length.

What a great ride. Wonderful scooter. Lightweight and so easy to take in the trunk of car. Just take off seat and lower handlebars and it fits easily in back of car or trunk. Goes about 15 miles on one battery charge.

Changed my life for sure. Love this scooter!.

I really like this scooter. Instructions are limited but easy enough to figure out. 3 speed. 28mph. Go easy on the throttle so as not to grind gears. Longer battery life than stated. Waterproof to a point.

Rain riding not recommended in my opinion. Easy ride off road. Uphill is stronger than stated with me at 200lbs. Well build and no giggling parts. Fast little beast of a scooter! No regenerative capability.

6hr recharge.

Snow Bird. Using expensive 75ah gel batteries and always a problem when I come back in November. absolutely unable to get a decent range second year with the batteries. unable to find the manual for the battery charger that comes with the unit.

Other than that the unit would be over expectations and get the comments ”love your ride” very often.

Only issue was they weren’t shipped at same time. They were friendly and prompt in their response to emails. It was a good experience even though not perfect. Ps we have two identical scooters.

After a couple weeks of research, I ordered the Shoprider Echo 3 Mobility Scooter. Was looking for a scooter compact in size. Not too big, not too small. Easy to assemble and disassemble. This was perfect for my needs.

I received it within a few days. I was surprised at how quickly it was at my door. Easy to put together. No fuss. Love it! And Customer Service followed up with me to ask how my overall experience was.

That’s important, and I appreciated that. I am happy!.

There is 1 problem with the new Scooter. When charging it, it is “extremely hard” to pull out the cord and also a big challenge, to push the charge cord apparatus into place. The hardest of the two is pulling the cord “out.

” Any thoughts on how we may get help or suggestions on this ? We do love the Scooter and have had the other one for over 4 years, when we wanted to buy a new one. Hope to hear back. Mary West.

I can’t say enough about all of the great attributes of this scooter! I’m waiting on surgery for both of my bone on bone knees. In the meantime, I felt like I was missing out on all the fun family outings.

I never went to the mall anymore or any place that required a lot of walking. I saw this scooter on QVC one day and decided to give it a try. It has been a lifesaver and I am now able to join in family outings and can do all the shopping that I always enjoyed! I even enjoyed a trip to the zoo with my great nieces and nephew.

The scooter is very manageable for a woman. It breaks down into three easy pieces that fit in your car trunk. I can easily lift every part. They consist of the battery, seat, and body of the scooter, which is lightweight.

It has plenty of battery power to last all day long and then some. It is streamlined enough to easily go through store aisles with ease. The only thing that might be problematic is if you are a tall person you may not have the foot room that you need.

Otherwise, this is an awesome little scooter! I highly recommend it.
