These scissors are great! You can tell how well are made. They are so sharp that I put my finder on the blade and it slightly cut my skin. Even the thinning scissors come with this little thing to tighten the blades together or loosen then.

So happy!! Before buying these, I went to Walmart to look for this kind of scissors and they looked like toys. I am so happy that I bought them on eBay Great for cutting hair.

440C Stainless steel = Surgical steel. These scissors are the professional grade that I was seeking. They stay sharp and cut very smoothly, cleanly and accurately without pulling. The handles are finely polished and as well engineered as the cutting blades.

I bought these shears to use for cutting my dog’s hair (and mine also). I tried regular scissors and they are not effective to cut his hair in any manner. These are so good and inexpensive that they will literally take hours off of our grooming sessions.

Poor quality, feels rough as the blades pass over each other. Sometimes it folds the hair over instead of cutting for the first 1/3 of cut. The last 2/3rds of the blades (near tips of the blades) cut well but feel rough.

Just poor workmanship overall. You know I wondered why so many glowing reviews and two critical reviews mine and another person’s then I discovered that I and the other person bought from the same place “gadgetscollection” and all the glowing reviews bought from “utopiadeals” Hmmm that must explain it.

For years I have cut my own hair and I have used a barber’s hair cutting scissors. That pair was starting to get a little dull and I wanted really sharp scissors. These that I ordered and received are perfect–very sharp, will easily last another 40 yrs.

These are really nice little haircutting scissors. Very sharp and seem to be made well for a decent price. They replace an old one of the same type that got dull over time. I am glad I got these and will replace it with the same when they get old and dull.

my hair is thick and I let it grow over the course of a year and 5 months but these scissors were great. did a starting test on a very small piece of hair and it cut cleanly and crisply. very easily chopped off about a foot worth of hair as well.

have not used the layering scissors so I will update when I can.

These scissors work perfectly for clipping the hair between and around our dogs’ toes. We have 4 small Chihuahuas, three of whom have hair that grows over their pads. This makes slippery walking for them.

These little scissors are just the right size for clipping their toe hair. They are very sharp, and the rounded tip makes them so safe to use. Finger holes are 5/8″ x 7/8 in. Not sure a man’s fingers would fit in them, but the average woman’s fingers would.

You get what you pay for! They were alright. I think they’d work ok for OCCASIONAL use on very fine, 100% tangle-free hair. I may have also received a defective pair because they started falling apart during my first groom.

I would still recommend trying them because CHEWY IS AMAZING! They immediately refunded my money when I contacted them. They didn’t even require that I return the product so, really, you have nothing to lose if you want to try them.

I was wary ordering scissors online but a friend had ordered from here and recommended. I went for the black precision triple set and everything from start to finish was excellent! Originally, I ordered a pair of shears late at night and accidentally purchased the 7 inch precision shear. I contacted scissor tech and they promptly got back to me. They said no problem, ship those back to us and we will have your new shears on the way.

I’ve Tried Several Haircutting Scissors From Different Brands And Retailers, And These Are The Worst. They Look Sleek, But They Don’t Cut. Not Even Tiny Buts Of Hair At A Time. The Hair Just Goes Between The Blades And The Blades Don’t Cut The Hair.

I think these shears are nice. They cut very well and seem to be sharp enough. Im not real sure how long they will stay sharp though, as I think they are starting to dull. I really only use then for bang cuttings and trimming between hair appoitments.

I hope they hild up well after sharpening them. The black is super cute, although they are very long blades compared to other shears, but I kind of like to use them better. Overall impressed with these!.

I got these in order to cut my own hair to avoid going to a hair salon during quarantine, and they seem to work really well. They give a clean cut, and so far I haven’t noticed an increase in split ends at all.

They’re somewhat easy to hold for me, but not my husband who has a bit larger fingers. They also feel pretty sturdy and a little heavy. I’m not sure if this is good in terms of professional shears or not, but to me it feels like they’re of a higher quality because of it.

Recently bought Fromm 6. 25 in. Transform shears from Sally’s Beauty Supply on Westminster, CA. Had to say I was a little worry of buying over the Internet, you actually have to see the shears before buying, no warranty.

Was extremely happy with this pair of shears, sharp, comfortable, no problems with cutting. Price not too bad around $60. Buying cheaper shears may not cut right. Would highly recommend them for someone who cuts their own hair.

I’ve had them for only about a week. So I cannot review the longevity of these. But I was looking for a shear that was designed for point cutting and loving the matte black color as well. I do like these and would recommend.

I’ve been using swivel shears and I wish these had the swivel thumb. So Fromm please design a pair with a swivel thumb. It’s been little difficult getting use to them not having that. I’m sure with extended time using without swivel my wrist will probably pay the price.

I am very impressed with these shears. I have always been leary of purchasing any shears under $100 in fear of them being cheaply made & not lasting long—dulling quickly. So far I am very impressed, they are extremely sharp.

My husband has thick curly hair. Last time I cut it during the lockdown, using our old house scissor, I had to literally saw through his hair. Lol This scissor made it go smoothly. Cuts very well!! So glad Ulta was open and the sales girl was so knowledgeable!! Definitely a great buy for us! My husband is under the illusion that I will be his permanent hair stylist! Ha, ha!.

I found a tutorial on YouTube on cutting your hair in layers in one easy step. Used these scissors and that tutorial and it came out great. Be careful. I did lightly graze my fingers which left a thin paper cut like laceration.

Then again seeing as this is designed to cut hair that shouldn’t have been a surprise. User error but great scissors.

Very sharp, good cut. They do have micro-grooving that grabs hair — good for when I trim my wife’s hair, but she’s used to more advanced techniques where it will grab. So we just ordered a Transform (Explore seems to be out of stock) for her to use.

Simply put, these scissors are worth every dollar and cut effortlessly. As a student, I was having a lot of issues with cheap scissors. Which I didn’t realise at the time were going to have bad effects on my progress at cutting.

Then my teacher gave me a pair of these and I noticed the difference IMMEDIATELY. WOW! Everyone told me to buy a good pair because its good for business and good for my health. Soon I’ll get onto the Japanese scissors.

Love these scissors, fab for scissor over comb on shorter styles and longer styles blunt or textured cutting .I’ve used jaguar scissors for over 40 years ,I wouldn’t use any other brand 🙂

I like the scissors very much. They cut beautifully. However, the finger holes are a little small for my fingers. perhaps a different model might be better in this respect.
