20 Best Scent For Poo Pourri (2023 Updated)

When I first sprayed the Fresh Air Home-Pourri, I thought it smelled pretty good. Then the sprayed started leaking all over my hand and dripping on the floor, so I had to go clean up from that. Afterwards, and I mean hours later, I was sitting in the room I had sprayed, and thought to myself, “What is that smell?” It was like fragranced bug spray, and it was really irritating my nose.

I realized it was the Home-Pourri. I took the bottle and stuck it under the sink, thinking maybe the leaking spray had got down into the outside of the bottle and was just too strong. That helped somewhat, but I could still smell that chemically odor and ended up with a very itchy nose and half a headache.

I now see more people talking about the sprayer, so apparently that’s a common issue and I’m sure Poo-Pourri will fix it. As for the smell of the Fresh Air scent, I don’t think that’s fixable.

I almost didn’t leave a review; maybe it was God‘s way of saying not to leave one since it’s not the most flattering. First, the marketing email I received that asked me to leave a review Doesn’t take you to the location where the review will be left.

Don’t get me wrong, it takes you to a page asking you to buy more product but you have to scroll to find where you could leave your review. We don’t have time to scroll we want to be directed exactly to where you want us to go we expect to be taken to the exact spot where a review is to be left not to be dumped into the review page where we’re first exposed to buying more product.

It’s kind of a broken promise; “leave a review“ my answer, “OK“ next step push button what do I get buy more product I have to scroll to the bottom of the page where a review can be left. Since I stated earlier my review of the product wasn’t gonna be that flattering and I’ve already taken up too much time talking about the broken promise experienced in my navigation let’s just leave it at that thank you for your time.

When I saw the Lily, Ivy Leaves and Sandalwood fragrance I was expecting and hoping for a more natural… kind of outdoorsy scent. Nope! This room fragrance really smells awful. It has way too – sweet of an odor.

To me the odor is more nauseating than a scent to enjoy. I buy alot of Mrs. Meyers air fresheners they are a good aromatherapy and have such wonderful scents that are really pleasing to your sense of smell and are uplifting and enjoyable.

I will stick to Mrs Meyers products. This item was not for me!! It is not a natural smell and reminded me of watered down cheap perfume to…. too chemically and overly sweet.

The bottle is cute, the scent is actually a really nice smell! The bottle is fairly small so it can fit pretty close to anywhere in your bathroom! So, per the directions, you spray your preferred amount of sprays into/onto the water in the bowl, go per usual, and viola! However I do all that, and then if we have company, or a tummy ache etc, I will add an extra spritz after flushing.

This product, works exactly how it is intended! Which is great because that hasn’t always been the case, when trying some other products. I really like that it actually smells GOOD! Like, i would actually use this scent as a room freshener spray!.

I bought this at the start of the semester when I moved into a one bathroom apartment with three other people. It has been a godsend (when people remember to use it). The ONLY complaints I have are minor, but I really wish A.

that the bottles had spray nozzles that can spray at any angle, because spraying in the toilet usually takes a few tries since the liquid is not at the bottom of the bottle when you hold it over the toilet.

and, B. kind of relates to the first part: i wish you could get the bottle farther in the toilet without sacrificing spray power, because I hate when it gets on the toilet seat and then it’s all slippery.

Overall great product, but I think a nozzle that sprays in any position would be a huge bonus.

I like this. I got the scent tropical hibiscus 🌺. It has a nice scent and doesn’t have a scent like the sprays do where they are overwhelming and masking and the bathroom still stinks afterwards! With this you only need a couple of sprays and there’s little or no smell! Amazing with men or boys in the house I swear!! Only negative and reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that a lot of times it won’t spray into the bowl because you have to spray down.

Since this is what the product is designed for you would think they would have considered that. Still a must have in my house!.

Let me put y’all on something if you haven’t already tried it!! This stuff is the bomb. First of all this packaging is my favorite out of all the [brand:poo-pourri-jr] products. We just tried this scent and I like the eucalyptus and spearmint a lot.

It is made a ton essentials oils and is strong without it being aggressive on the nostrils. One bottle lasts FOREVER so I definitely recommend trying out 🖤.

Poo Pourri is amazing. Unlike any toilet spray out there. It disguises odors and has a pleasant smell. Take it from me, it will save your marriage. Package is a wonderful price and includes two sample sizes as well.

This is THE most genius product I’ve come across in a long time! Trouble is, I always feel like it’s one of those things you’d usually deny using in normal conversation and only really tell your sister and friends about 😀 But, yes, it works! There are also plenty of funny puns waiting to happen considering the old phrase about thinking your “wontsayit don’t stink”, but the whole point in using it is too keep things classy!.

Love love love my poo pourri sprays! It all started when my mother in law gave me a travel size one in my stocking. For full effect, spray before you go and once if people are waiting to go after you. Using Poo-Pourri shouldn’t replace flushing as you go so odor doesn’t ‘set’ and opening windows when possible. For 10ML, it’s pricey and that’s partly because it’s meant to be use sparingly.

However, it is a potent alternative to cheap air freshner or lighting matches.

I received this as a gift from an employee of the company. While I like the other scents I have purchased, this particular scent is absolutely disgusting. I actually went out of my way to buy different scents so I could replace this scent because when you use it – it makes the bathroom smell like very strange smelling poop.

The bottle is cute to leave on the back of your toilet or you can carry it with you. It has a pleasant citrus 🍋🍊 scent that eliminates any odors. You just spray it in the toilet before you go. The card that comes with it was hilarious, too! I would definitely recommend this spray for any all bathrooms.

I figured I would review the products I’m constantly moving out of frame. The Lavender Vanilla and Original Citrus are the most readily available. I’ve repurchased both! They work well, all of the scents I’ve tried have the same common main factor and don’t disturb my pets.

Potpourri spray is a lifesaver in a house with 9 boys and 6 girls. bc girls go number 2 too. Most of the time I have it in my bathroom bc it joins with the Master bedroom and my spouse takes BMs like clockwork that would wake me up.

yuck! He won’t use it but works well as an afterspray, too. Honestly, most sprays mask the odor. Potpourri somehow takes it away. I have only tried the 1 pictured in the review it has almost a fresh laundry smell.

It is not over powering. It definitely smells better than the lingering odor of poop sprays that just add an odor to mix in with the BM. I was actually impressed with the product and since this 1 cost about 20 bucks because it is a larger size 4 fluid ounces than most you find in stores that are purse size.

I use several Poo-Pourri scents multiple times daily. Can you say “OBSESSED”?!? I like using this fab product before I go AND after flushing—my water closet always smells nice & fresh!! Of all scents, Beach Bum is my absolute #1 FAV.

Ok, it’s a very close race with Ship Happens but Beach Bum wins out by a tad. Its fresh, tropical smell is refreshing & pleasant without being overpowering. Been using this spray for a few years now and I’ve tried the original three scents, which I love. But, this makes my entire house smell good. I have noticed that after using the bathroom that it works best by spraying the bathroom sink after washing my hands.

I also spray this in the bottom of my indoor trashcan after removing a full trash bag and before replacing it with a new one. This scent does not have that sickening fake sweet candy smell. Once the bathroom sink dries, the scent lingers with a slightly musky beach smell.

It also not a gender specific scent.

The product definitely works. I have tried original citrus and pineapple mango, which they both smell so wonderful. Pineapple Mango was my favorite, but it appears that it has been discontinued, so I decided to try another scent, Beach Bum.

This also does a good job covering the scent you want to cover, but the scent the covers with smells like dusty dirty surface. I will get another Poo Pourri, but I will not get this one again.
