The scale is digital and has multiple settings for weight input. The screen is a very bright blue and kinda hurts my eyes if I stare at it too long but I do have a light sensitivity. Very simple to use and accurate.

I’ve been using it to measure out my food portions for my diet and it’s worked great for me. It takes 2 AAA batteries and they last for a long time. I like that there is an automatic shut off so there’s no wasted batteries.

Overall, a very good quality product.

This scale is very accurate, which is nice. However, this is much smaller than what is specified on the website. Under specifications, it says this scale is 12 inches long, 10 inches wide, and 4 inches tall.

So I was expecting a fairly decent sized weighing platform, so I was surprised that the platform is barely over 5. 5 inches wide and long. Hopefully I can make it work for what I need it to weigh, but we’ll see.

Also, the box does say 420 Garden Scale if you would be offended by that.

Definitely called a 420 garden scale but have no issues with the cross-functionality of this scale. I use it for baking and cooking. I had a similar Ozeri scale that lasted me YEARS but finally broke when too much water seeped in.

I love the slim design of this one. It’s slightly lighter feeling than I thought it would be but that doesn’t affect functionality and accuracy. Easy to use and great price. I’m happy!.

This is a good scale. You can use a bottle of spring water to calibrate the scale, because a 16. 9 fluid ounce bottle of water weighs 500 grams. I had to search the internet to find something that weighs 500 grams so hopefully this helps someone out.

I also had to search youtube to find a video that shows someone holding down the unit button to calibrate the scale (instructions say “keep pressing the unit button” which isn’t a very good English translation).

This would be a great product with some clearer instructions included. Overall not bad though.

When I ordered this scale I wanted a higher end scale that wasn’t cheap and going to break within the first week of getting it. What I recieved exceeded my expectations and more. I love the sleek magnetic design and its highly durable! There is nothing cheap or flimsy on this scale.

I even like the red backlight more than i thought I would. The screen is crystal clear and easy to read. Also comes with a 30 year warranty just in case you are still worried it might break. Only took 2 days to arriver after ordered.

Instructions are on the inside of the lid and easy to understand. Display is easy to read. Accurate and precise. When batteries get low in other scales Ive had, its caused inaccuracies so the fact that this one is rechargeable is really nice.

Great piece of equipment! hight quality, very very resistant and absolutley worth the price! I bought this one simply cause i lost the last one, but i had for maybe a little over 2 years and it worked great! it is very easy to use and its very accurate.

I was very pleased with how this worked, until it stopped working after 2 years. The LCD is easy to read, the CR2032 batteries are readily available, though your unit, if it’s like mine, won’t outlive the Maxell batteries the factory installs.

You can toggle between metric and USA, and the tare button allows you to hang a basket, but not have to subtract its weight from what you read on the LCD. If it’s worth $6/year to have a nice scale, go for it, otherwise, get an old fashioned spring scale that will last decades without batteries.

This was for my son’s birthday and he has everything so was looking for something he did not have. Looks nice, not sure how well it works. I do wish the tape measure was longer. I was debating to get the one that was a little more money, hope this one doesn’t disappoint.

I’ve had this scale for five years and it has worked perfectly for my DIY mixing. I don’t use the bowl with it. It measures perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with this scale. I strongly recommend this for anyone who needs to measure down to the gram.

Purchased this scale to weigh salts for RO water additions. The scale’s construction is good and the included AC plug in and bowl are a plus. Checked the scale’s calibration using the two included calibration weights.

One weighs 198. 37g while the other weighs 200. 10g (1. 73g difference between them). The scale’s instructions say to calibrate the scale if there’s +-. 03 difference when using a calibration weight.

Since both weights have such are large difference between I’m not sure which weight should be used to calibrate the scale correctly.

This scale is not to big and not to small, but you have to have enough room for the protective cover. Which is a great added feature when the scale is not in use. The detachable White bowl works fine when measuring food portions.

I like that it comes with it’s own power supply transformer, or you can use the battery option also if you want to. The display is easy to read and understand.

The product is good and for the price you can’t beat it, however it’s missing a few things I wish I would have known before I bought it. If you decide to plug it in to an outlet, there is no switch to turn it off.

It must be unplugged in order to turn the power off. The second thing is it doesn’t measure weight under 1 pound. A lot of my packages weigh anywhere from 5 oz -35 lbs. Unfortunately I have to use a different scale for anything under 1 pound.

I was super excited to receive this scale. Having the digital weight separate from the actual scale is great for oversized boxes. I am finding that I will need to purchase another scale for weights under 1 pound.

This scale has registered as light as 10 oz. As for the construction, it’s a very nice scale. I was impressed.

It’s a good scale and over all I would recommend it however if I can just point out a few negatives. First is that quality is lacking in some places as display housing looks cheap and also the stainless steel is very thin so when i went to weigh myself “195LB” i was worried as it started to bend however it did pop back into shape when i got off.

Second is that I can’t seem to set it to LB & OZ by default so every time you turn it on you need to wait a few seconds to change it but other then that I like it.

I recently purchased the above mentioned digital scale to keep in the boat while I am out fishing. These portable scales affords me the ability to weigh in a fish , to a high degree of accuracy, and know what I have in weight for any individual fish or for a daily total.

Wheather I am weighing Bass, Walleye, or big Stripers , these scales are up to the task. Fishermen tend to be terrible at accurately guessing a fish’s weight ( always on the plus side ) and these digital scales takes all of the guess work out of the equation.

I bought this scale to use on my boat. Only used it one fishing trip so far, it’s a nice scale. I also got the Fish Grip Jr to hold the fish like they use on Major League Fishing. Really like it so far.

This is a compact, accurate digital scale that weighs to. 01 gram. Best of all, it’s built tough. Look at this thing, its beefy. It’ll take a drop a keep weighing your stuff accurately like it’s the thing to do.

I like everything about this scale so far. I purchased it to weigh ground dried peppers from my garden. Tabascos, Jalapenos, Paprika, Habanero, Ghosts etc. The detachable cover doubling duty as a weighing tray is nice too.

Love the tare and zero features as well as the various units of measure. I also like the fact that you can calibrate the scale. I would certainly recommend this product especially for those kitchen folks that like to be precise with weight measurements.

It certainly feels like this scale should last a good long time. Excellent so far.

It was so good of a deal I bought the T3 400G too just to have it for smaller stuff that measure in 0. 01 the 660. 01 precision. They both have the tough design IPS rib cage. Dang near bullet proof! Lol.

These scales worked OK (but just OK) for the first few months. Then they broke for no reason. Now the numbers just go crazy every time I turn it on. Bought 2x 200g calibration weights, still borked. Tried to contact the company about their ‘unlimited lifetime’ guarantee but the dogs just ignore my contact.

Avoid this junk like the plague. The item is junk (looks like a rebadged $5 scale) but the company are just dogs. Get something else.

This is my third one. The first one I bought 4 years ago still works, but I use this for work and wanted a back up in case it died. The second one I bought was terrible and I had to return it. The build quality was awful.

The hinge broke because it wouldn’t come apart properly like it’s supposed to. This third one I bought is better than the second one, but the lid is slightly warped and one side doesn’t quite close all the way.

The manufacture of Triton needs to step up their game and make these good like they used to be.

I found the ordering process easy and the product was delivered in a timely manner. Product was packaged properly and arrived undamaged and fully functional. Product video on the web page is accurate in its description of the unit with the exception of the statement that the unit ships with 2 calibration weights included.

However, the written product description as well as product specifications clearly state calibration weights are required and are not included. Photographs, description, and specifications on the product web page are accurate with the following two exceptions: Product description states the protective cover is not removable and product specifications state it is removable.

The cover on my scale is easily removable and I prefer to use the scale “cover removed” because when measuring small masses the open cover tends to lift the back of the scale off the table which makes the scale unstable.

Overall size of my scale is a bit smaller than the dimensions listed in the online specifications as well as the specification section of the user’s guide. 7. 3” x 5. 5” x 1. 5” instead of the listed 8” x 5.

5” x 1. 8”. Scale is easy to use with the following functions working correctly: Tare, Selection of weighing units, Calibration, Counting Feature, and Backlight. User manual is easy to understand except it needs to be updated to match the product.

The backlight function is not explained. (It is toggled on/off with the blue colored push button. ) The Tare Key also has the word Print engraved on it. I was not able to determine what, if any, additional function is associated with this key.

I have not been able to make use of the memory function as described in the user manual. I was not able to get the scale to sum incremental weights using this key. The memory key seems to store the current value and then pressing it again simply toggles back and forth between the stored value and the real time display.

I am satisfied with the price and quality of the product. My unit seems sturdy and is reasonably accurate when compared to known masses. The repeatability of my unit is also better than the stated 0.

Excellent quality and longevity. I’ve had two of these scales in use in a high school chemistry lab for over 12 years. I recently added two more as my class size has increased. I also have several of the 2000g x 0.

1g scales for labs requiring larger masses and less precision, reserving these for labs calling for more precise measurements. This minimizes the risk of students overloading the scales. Calibration is easy and the scales remain in calibration consistently.

I bought this 500g scale to use in the kitchen a little bit but mostly for weighing outgoing mail and sometimes jewelry. When I first received the scale it needed to be calibrated and the instructions call for a 200g and a 500g calibration weight(s).

I do have a 200g weight already but ended up having to purchase a 500g weight which cost me another $20. I wish that info had been included in the description or specs. Otherwise, I really like the size, not too small and not too big and once calibrated it is very accurate.

I would definitely recommend it to others.

Needed a small scale with at least a 4″x4″ balance pan with 500G capacity and readable to 0. 01g with tare feature. It also contains an overload indicator and and lets you know when batteries (2xAAA) are low.

It is used to make hand sanitizer, and it’s more accurate/quicker to weigh all sanitizer components (%w/w composition) including isopropanol, H2O, glyerol and sepimax zen rather than alternatively measure volumes of liquids.

Low cost and small size make this scale ideal for my intended use, and it was also available in stock at a local Staples. I’m more accustomed to using 3 place analytical balances in a university lab setting but EPB-500G is excellent for this specific use.

I would definitely recommend it for residential use.

Really great (accurate !) for weighing “calorie dense” products (e. g. different kinds of tree nuts). The “Grams” option allows for a “finer grain measurement” than the standard “ounces weight”. As a Bonus, the Brecknell it is also quite useful as a Postal Scale !!.

So far only problem is the battery cover tab which was broke when received, but just put gorilla tape on and works great! Is a nice heavy duty scale that I use in my barn to weight feed and hay and is working great! Love the nice large easy to read LED screen.

It takes a 9v battery that comes with the unit so not sure how long it will last but love that it’s portable and can take anywhere! I did not deduct for the broken tab on the battery cover because it was an easy fix:).

I bought this for weighing heavy boxes for shipment to Amazon. It is sturdy and easily able to stand up to those heavy boxes. The hold feature for the weight is extremely helpful if the box covers the weight until removed from the scale.

I highly recommend this scale for anyone shipping large or heavy items anywhere.

I use it for bread baking, where only the relative weights of ingredients matter. In other words, a 12oz can of seltzer weighed 380g and 3 of them weighed 1140g. One day at the store, I realized that the same can of seltzer actually weighed 370g (Centech was off by +2.

7%)! So I decided to calibrate. I needed a 2,500g reference. I created by getting 6 cans of the 12oz seltzer (checked that each weighed 370g): total=2,220g. I got the remaining 280g from the salad bar.

After calibration, my Centech is has been nothing but ACCURATE and RELIABLE! Advice on buying anything from HFT: Unpack immediately & make sure that it works up to spec! They’re cheap because they expect YOU the buyer to do the quality control! If you have a DUD, return immediately for another one.

THEY WILL HAPPILY DO THE EXCHANGE BECAUSE IT HELPS THEM FIGURE OUT WHAT WENT WRONG WITH YOUR RETURNED UNIT, PRESUMEDLY TO MAKE A BETTER VERSION! At some point, the plastic membrane over the buttons may crack.

Solution: wrap over with food wrap & stick 1 or 2 layers of clear packing tape on top. Don’t stick the packing tape on the buttons themselves, because you don’t want the adhesive to gum up the film switch underneath.

Cheap, surprisingly accurate, easy to use, but don’t expect it to last forever. This is cheap merchandise from China. Comes with a little plug-in power source marked 6 volts, but is actually 7. 5 volts.

Four AA batteries will also power it. Display read 1503 grams for 1500 gram lab weights. Adequate for my purposes. If you have some accurate standard weights, you can calibrate the scale even better than it comes from the factory in China.

I was searching for a way to be consistent when feeding my large dog. No doubt, I was giving her too much. I have two small balances (scales), but their cost ($3600) and care are too much for use in my kitchen.

This small scale is perfect. It has a small footprint, it’s lightweight, it’s easy to use, and inexpensive to replace if it gets damaged. So far, it has worked as intended. I’ll resume baking this winter.

First, I need to say that I rarely write reviews because I never have time. I am making an exception for this product because I am so happy with its performance. When I purchased this scale, about 8-9 months ago I only paid $13.

00 for it. After using it I would have paid 3 times that amount if I had to. This is a small, compact scale that comes with tools, calibration weights, and converts from grams to ounce’s and so on. It has a directions booklet and a warranty.

It is highly sensitive and will perform on any level. Extremely easy to use. I strongly suggest you consider buying this scale. The only issue I had was with cleaning. I weigh different powders and particulate matter.

I use a small plastic medicine cup to put the substance I am weighing in. Place the cup on the scale and then turn it on and the scales calibration compensates for the weight of the cup and starts at 0.

00. Removed the cup, put your substance in the cup to be weighed and place the cup back on the scale. No cleaning required. This is a great product!.

Very nice small scale. Easy to calibrate. Good for things like gun powder for reloaders or weighing pellets to competition air gun shooters. For the price it’s hard to beat. Longevity will be the key.

If it’s still working properly 2 years from now then it will be a very good deal. Things of which buyers should be aware: very sensitive to radio frequencies. (Most scales that measure at this level are, though.

) Cannot use near a computer, TV, etc. Also needs to be level. These are not really negatives as they are common to all precision digital scales.

This is the best little scale! It is sturdy, not flimsy at all. It is already calibrated, but if it got off, it is easily re-calibrated. The little tray is a must and works wonderfully. It is so easy, just press the button after the tray is on and the scale is reset to zero.

If you have small amounts to weigh in milligrams, this works! The plastic lid that closes over it is sturdy and helps this compact little unit stay protected and clean.
