Have used this often, easy to make linguine (or any pasta) with clam sauce. I add a can or 2 of minced/diced clams, EVOO, usually more garlic, chives, parm cheese. quick and easy, one pan, and topped with shredded mozzarella melted in micro, can’t go wrong.

Impressive looking dish for family or company. Add crisp bread slices and good to go. EASY! Cheaper than going out too. I add extra ingredients just because of my taste but no need to, personal preference only.

I discovered this when I went plant based and needed more flavor in my foods. At first it was burning hot (to me) but I’ve gotten used to it and use it in so many things and now prefer it to sriracha.

I mix it with plain hummus to give it a kick, use it in homemade salad dressings, love it with white beans, and love the flavor of it on kale with rice wine vinegar. Now I always keep a jar in my cabinet.

LOVE this sauce! If you don’t like sriracha, like me, this is a great alternative. Sriracha is okay, it has some weird metallic flavour, and this sauce is just spicy garlic with heat, you can literally put it on anything.

I’m a big fan of Humble House’s Guajillo and Ancho sauces, and like those this is a very technically competent sauce. Well balanced heat and perfect consistency. Unfortunately, unlike the other Humble House sauces I found this one had an odd and not particularly appetizing flavour.

I’m not a professional food reviewer and thus have a hard time describing the underlying flavours, but something contributed a bitter or off-putting flavour. While I will finish the bottle, it’s taking me a long time as I find myself reaching for other bottles instead.

I found this sauce because I love Oaxacan Mole which often has tamarind in it, and I was searching around for other foods and sauces that incorporate tamarind. I was very pleased to find this sauce as it is really delicious on everything from Hamburgers to eggs and beyond.

Even better I ordered all of the Humble House sauces and each one was more delicious than the last. Right on the label, they state flavor before heat, they mean it. The flavors are exceptionally well developed and balanced, and while there is some heat it won’t lay you back, it is just enough to keep things interesting.

I was excited to try this sauce as it looked like it had potential to be my next all-purpose condiment—something unique to replace BBQ sauce or ketchup for special occasions. Unfortunately, this one didn’t work for me.

On my first try I thought, “Wow, that’s very fragrant, not what I expected, and has some flavor that I can’t identify. ” The next time I used it, I cringed at the scent. And then the third time, barely using any and diluting it in plain ol’ ketchup, I decided that, “Nope, I just don’t like this, and there’s no point in forcing it down.

” I’d say it’s a low to medium level of heat and a thick past, about like ketchup. I can’t identify the flavor I didn’t care for, or I’d let you know. Whatever it is, I think perhaps “pungent” is the best description.

I don’t know if is the Tamrind (since I’ve never had that in something else), or I don’t know if it’s just some way that the vinegar and the garlic (both flavors I’m not fond of) meld together with the others, but I’ll leave this one on the shelf next time I’m shopping so that there’s more for everyone else to try and (hopefully) enjoy!.

This sauce is very convenient. I love cooking Korean beef bulgogi and other dishes. To get Gochujang Red Korean Paste I have to go to a specialty store in town. And the paste can often spoil. This sauce solves those 2 problems.

My kids love it! Move over Ketchup. Bachan’s is new favorite in our house. Obviously it’s good on rice and chicken, but now my kids eat broccoli, spinach, and even asparagus! I heard about this sauce from Hasty Bake. They talk about it in their recipes videos. This sauce is not availlable in Quebec I think. I found Natura Market and ordered it. The taste is what we were looking for.

Delicious sauce! Has a sweet, but not overpowering flavor. Reminds me of the Happi House teriyaki sauce you find at a Happi House location. We marinated flank steak and it turned out perfect, but I’m sure you can marinate any meat with this sauce! We had about 4 pounds of meat and this bottle was just the right amount for marinading that amount.

I got this sauce in an assortment that my sister gave me for my birthday. Since I hadn’t yet ever had it, I didn’t want to risk it on a bunch of meat for grilling. Not sure what to do with it, I saw the baked bean recipe on the side and decided to try it out on that since beans don’t cost much.

Wow! EVERYBODY LOVED THEM!! The consistency is a bit different than regular baked beans, not so sticky with sauce. Also, the four different beans, both in texture and appearance, really set this dish apart, really lets people know at first sight that this isn’t going to be their normal baked-beans experience, and if they’re adventurous enough to give them a shot, they will be far from disappointed, astonishingly pleased, even.

My husband and I LOVE this sauce. I made a marinade for Salmon of: brown sugar, olive oil, soy sauce, Stonewall Kitch Sesame Ginger Teriyaki sauce, garlic, fresh ginger, honey. I marinated the salmon steaks with HALF of the sauce for 30 min only.

Then broiled it on both sides. Heated the remaining half of sauce till thickened, added 1/2 tsp sesame seeds, and served it on the side with the Salmon, veggie-rice and Broccoli. Absolutely the best Salmon I have ever had! Even better than at restaurants!.

In the winter months I usually make up soups. I add a variety of things that always result in a full bodied delicious soup. This with Miso Paste provides a nice satisfying taste. It is also fun making a never ending soup where you add a different ingredient or two to the soup.

I ordered to have it with bibimbob and other Korean dish and I love it! Love how it’s so easy and simple to use it and store in the fridge after opening. I don’t have to make the sauce on my own every time when I make some Korean foods.

The taste is great and not too sweet. (i wanted a bit of sweetness anyway so it’s perfect. ) Also the brandname Bibigo by CJ is a great great company in Korea. I’ve grown up with is in Korea, so I can trust this company and the products.

This is a delicious Bibim sauce, great for Bibimbap (Rice bowl) and Bibim Mein (noodle bowl). Not sure why some reviews complaint about this. Yes this is not gochuchang that those reviewers thought. In general, gochuchang (the one sold in a tub/box) is used as cooking seasoning, not table condiment.

To make a table condiment, you need to mix gochuchang with some vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, gochugaru, and etc to dilute the paste. This sauce is already premixed to save your time.

This may be produced by a Korean brand but it’s nothing like a Korean sauce. It’s not very spicy (which means something from a person who can’t eat spice) and it’s insanely sweet. You might as well mix some sugar into ketchup and put that on your dish.

I love sauce mixes like these. Flavorful and easy to handle. I added this to a lump of meat and simmered. Threw in some roasted veggies as well and ended up being a hearty meal. The cilantro was not strong, but I added some fresh cilantro to make up for the lack of herby-ness.

First, Fresh Anaheim Chiles out of the store haven’t been fire roasted and I believe it’s the chiles Ortega uses but then they roast theirs. Second, I wanted to compare Hatch Green Chile to Ortega Green Chiles both in cans.

Hatch is more expensive about $6. 99 per can(Albertsons) Ortega was $ 4. 58 (Walmart) Walmart didn’t sell Hatch brand or were out of stock. Both say Whole Green Chiles. Hatch is Harvest Roasted while Ortega says Fire Roasted.

All the measurements sodium, carbs, etc were almost identical. Both said Mild on the cans. Taste: Hatch easily won the taste test. It had a delicious taste the flavor popped out more and the roasted taste was more pronounced and it was a little hotter.

Ortega was flat and tasted more like vinegar. Is it worth the $2. 50 more? I say YES by far.

At last a mild enchilada sauce that tastes great! Most of them taste like cornstarch + chemicals. One member of our family can’t eat hot food. This is not spicy at all, so she can eat plenty without discomfort.

And now the rest of us don’t have to suffer. Bonus points for gluten free, which we also need at our house. I’m sure this would make lovely enchiladas, but we saute chicken pieces with a little garlic, then add the sauce and pasta.

Sweet baby ray’s is sorta the default bbq sauce where I’m from, which I assume is because baby ray’s comes from chicago which is in the great lakes region, as am I. In fact, for a long time, I thought it was a regional product! But it makes sense that it’s not.

It’s a really good store-bought bbq that you can get for cheap. I’m a cook so I can always make my own, but I keep baby ray’s around because who even wants to homemake bbq sauce every time? And I suppose one could buy the artisanal bbq sauces instead.

I’m always cautious when it comes to Indian recipes – trying to stay away from “too hot” and “too mushy”. This sauce (and super-easy instructions they provide on the jar) is a perfection! Paires perfectly with naan, rice and cucumber raita.

This does tend to settle in the bottle over time, so I always make sure to shake it. otherwise the sauce will be mostly a watery vinegar flavor. After that, the vinegar flavor is hardly noticeable. The Chipotle smokiness comes through easily on top of a sweet medium heat that’s not too hot to hide the flavor.

One reviewer wrote about it tasting more like Cool Whip; I don’t know what that’s about. If Cool Whip tasted like this, I’d think my taste buds were going rogue. I hate Cool Whip and this sauce has no Cool Whip flavor or texture.

A 5 ounce bottle doesn’t go far, but that’s not always a bad thing. I’m not a restaurant and the smaller size won’t stay on my shelf for too long. That means my bottle will always have fresher sauce than if I had a 32 oz or larger bottle.

The reviews were dead-on. love this sauce! Definitely a bit more “tangy” than other hot sauces, and not too hot. Other hot sauces tend to have little flavor and only add the “hot”, but this one is different.

I was hoping for Bloomin’ onion sauce or BK Zesty Sauce or I would’ve settled for chik fil a sauce but nahh. The flavor hits you with vinegar, then mayo, then almost a hint of horseradish but not enough to taste good just off.

The flavor should hit with mayo, horseradish and vinegar balanced so you don’t taste any of it, it becomes it’s own thing. I will keep this but I will only use it when desperate. BK Zesty sauce is a hundred times better than this, and Outback blooming onion sauce is a million times better.

I almost feel no sauce is better than this sauce. YMMV.

This is the best hot sauce I’ve ever had. It explodes with vegetal/pepper flavor in the heat range of habanero or scotch bonnet pepper sauces. The heat is significant, but it’s all about the wonderful fresh pepper flavor.

I now buy four bottles at a time on eBay and put it on everything. The other items in the Matouk’s hot sauce line are not as good as the Flambeau; I’ve tried them. Her’s how I found Flambeau: The wife and I like to get away from the tourist areas in the Caribbean.

This sauce is literally FIRE and in the best way possible! I love hot sauces and especially the Matouk’s brand. This one is so unique in its blend of peppers and ingredients. This will not only bring the heat but also added flavor.

My family is Trinidadian we love this in our household. We usually have fresh pepper sauce made from a family member from Trinidad but if we run out this is it. It’s the right about of hot and we love pepper.

For me the sauce has a rich earthy flavor. I use it in food dishes to add flavor, on bland tasting veggies to add a better taste. It’s great for marinating meats & root vegetsbles prior to cooking them.

This is my holy grail addition to my grilled steaks. This is best brand of Korean bulgogi sauce I have tried. I have tried ALOT. This is perfect combination of sweet and salty. It has nice consistency: not too thick or thin.

I recommend this for grilling meats because this sauce needs high heat to caramelize the sauce. I have tried using this for bulgogi cooked in non-stick pan and even cast iron and the temperature does not get hot enough on stovetop to give the right taste.

I ordered this sauce online for shipping several times with no problems. Received this delivery today and was very annoyed. There was NO safety seal on the bottle. I noticed the bottle was sticky and opened the cap and there was no seal.

The BBQ sauce has a great taste to it, but the reason I only gave it 3 stars is do to the spiciness. For having Jolokia aka Ghost Pepper, it was not spicy as I expected. Maybe my tolerance to spicy peppers is higher than others.

If you have a low tolerance, then this will be perfect for you. The sauce is great, really enjoyed it, but wish it was a lot more hotter.
