20 Best Sauces At Trader Joes (2023 Updated)

I love Trader Joe’s!! I think I’m late to the party on these but these chicken soup dumplings are so good! I ate them with Sriracha sauce. They have such great flavor and are the perfect lunch. There is a small amount of broth inside the dumplings so my suggestion is to let them cool a bit first, then take a tiny bite from the top corner, drink the broth, then eat the dumpling!!!.

I’m sorry but this is one of the worst hot sauces I’ve ever had. I really wanted to like this, and my expectations were low (I wasn’t expecting a dupe for the rooster brand) but wow does this taste awful.

The aftertaste is like a combination of garlic and dirty socks? I might be able to save it if I mix it in with my stir-fry sauce, but as a stand-alone hot sauce, it tastes oddly full of chemicals. Please save your money and buy the original rooster brand…or any other hot sauce.

This is pretty good and definitely has its own flavor. I think this has more garlic, less heat, and more of a pepper forward flavor than the other one you’re used to using, but it’s a nice change up in absolutely everything you’d want sriracha in.

My local Trader Joes does not sell these in two packs. Just individually. This is my favorite Sweet Chili Sauce. Nothing to improve. I like to use it as a dipping sauce for pot stickers. I also like to add it to stir fry recipes.

I will always buy this again and again. It lasts awhile though.

This sweet chili sauce cooked in with a little reduced soy sauce is the PERFECT dipping sauce for Trader Joe’s dumplings and spring rolls. Personally I love it with the chicken or pork gyoza or the vegetable spring rolls.

I also made Thai chicken lettuce wraps. I added a little of this into the ground chicken while it was cooking and it gave it the nicest flavor. The sauce is not too spicy. The perfect amount of sweet and spicy.

I love it! This sauce is very versatile and very delicious. It has a great balance of sweetness and pepper flavor. It doesn’t have very much heat to it, which is great for pickier eaters. I use it as a dipping sauce for the frozen gyoza also from trader joes.

This is one of my always in my fridge items from Trader Joe’s. It is not difficult to make your own balsamic glaze but this is easy, tastes fantastic, and lasts a long time. I put this on some fresh mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto and it’s the perfect protein snack.

THIS!! If you love balsamic you need this. I literally put it on (almost) anything. Pizza? Boom 10x better. Salmon? Boom. Chicken? Boom. It lasts awhile because a little drizzle goes a long way but it really elevates dishes.

This is a staple in my pantry. It goes great on everything; pizzas, salads, sandwiches, etc. I always drizzle some on my avocados and avo toast. A little goes a long way, so it lasts forever! Highly recommend.

I’m actually writing this review for my husband. He, like every other vet, has used Texas Pete forever! He loves it. This review is not really about the quality or flavor though- it’s about the new lid.

We both hate it! No matter how careful we are, it breaks off. Why did the company have to change the lid??? The old one used less plastic as well.

This has been my favorite hot sauce for years and years. With the shortage on things lately – this (in my area) has been one of the things to just disappear. I used to be able to find bottles of it at Dollar Tree even and now I can’t.

So, I had to order in bulk. It’s not make your nose run, gag hot. It’s just perfect hot. A good taste of vinegar kicks in. If you want a good hot sauce but don’t want to suffer with belly aches after – – try this!.

This is a great tasting sauce, but it’s very inconsistent as it pertains to the flavor and level of spice. Earlier this year (2022) I tried sriracha sauce for the first time ever, and based on the reviews of others, I expected it to be hotter than it was.

Guys this stuff is so good. I usually use a bottle of this and a can of coconut milk because the flavors are very powerful. I add some garlic, crushed pepper, and salt. After that it’s perfect. I add veggie or meats depending on why we are feeling.

Serve it over white rice or ramen noodles.

I prefer the yellow over the red, but this sauce is truly mouth watering. You MUST try it next time you need a cheap and quick meal! 3 ingredients – this flavorful sauce, rice, and chicken!!

Great flavor and spice. Tastes very authentic and has a good consistency. Can be quickly warmed up to create a great meal. Can be added to rice or veggies or any type of meat. Would buy again.

Okay this is serious. If you haven’t tried this sauce go get it right now. The balance of sweet and spicy and tangy is perfect and it is such a thick and sticky sauce. This really blew me away and I wouldn’t change a thing to make it better.

Omg flavor is amazing! Live this stuff I tossed over tofu. I definitely will keep this sauce in the house. I ate with pasta salad and it was a perfect light dinner! Definitely worth a try. You won’t be disappointed!.

I’m that person that adds more curry to everything. This is a really great spicy but not too spicy sauce. It is close to authentic but you can taste the difference.

I’m very picky with my marinara sauces. It doesn’t help I was spoiled by traveling a while back to Italy and enjoying some of the best marinara sauces ever. However, I’m a big Trader Joe’s fan. This sauce is organic, flavorful, has simple ingredients you can pronounce and super convenient.

I lean more towards a cheesy sauce but this tomato basil is just as good and with little to no sugar!.

I love this pasta sauce! Generally, most of the sauces from Trader Joe’s are fantastic. This has a great flavor balance and you can definitely taste the basil in it. Sometimes, I will add a little bit of Italian seasonings to some pasta sauces, but this one did not need anything additional.

This has great flavor. I’ve used it in many dishes. Including spaghetti, for meat sauce. I’ve used it to season beef in stuffed peppers and also made meatballs with this sauce. You can enjoy it very simple with just pasta or in many ways and it gives just the right flavor.

It’s not watery, has enough boldness and everyone loves it. Always available in my pantry.

I had been buying Trader Joe’s frozen gyoza for years before finding this sauce there somehow! And I had been thinking, “these are so good, but I wish they had a sauce” the whole time. This sauce is so tasty.

I’ve only ever used it with Trader Joe’s frozen gyoza, but it works so well for them. One bottle also lasts a very long time and a little sauce goes a long way.

Found this in store and purchased because I love soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and it’s low in calorie. Didn’t meet my expectations, I haven’t really used it much. It’s a weird taste and not what I expected.

Yummy! I sautéed onions and garlic first before meats and veggies then add the sauce once everything is nearly cooked through. This is cheesy and goes well with gnocchi, zucchini lasagna, and classic penne pasta.

Deliciously tasty sauce. It is very tomatoey and has chunks of tomato in it which I like, as it adds more texture and heartiness to the sauce. I like to add this sauce to chickpea or brown rice pasta and top it with freshly grated pecorino cheese, cracked black pepper, and basil leaves.

This stuff is absurd good. I forgot that marinara even existed. there is more of this in my pasta than there is pasta. It is super cheap, crazy delicious, and not bad for you! I love to pair with some of their veggie pasta options (to trick myself into eating vegetables), as well as their meatless meatballs.

I love this product and use it for multiple purposes. I use it for spaghetti sauce bruschetta and fries and cheese sticks. It’s great to have on hand and the flavor is good. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes a marinara sauce.

I LOVE this sauce! Especially when I doctor it up slightly. I like to add fresh mushrooms and garlic, sometimes I splash of wine, and it’s perfect! It’s a little high on the sodium side, but what sauce isn’t these days? If I use a small amount, the sodium isn’t overpowering.

Pairing this with the Trader Joe’s Black Bean pasta is perfection. I highly recommend.

This is exactly what I expected. I’ve eaten this sauce as long as I can remember. Walmart. com has it cheapest I’ve been able to find it, since you cannot find it in stores. I will keep buying as long as they will keep selling it at this price point.

Oh, and they ship the glass bottles so protected you’d never have to worry about the bottles breaking I ordered three bottles my first order and they arrived safer than a baby in a car seat!.

From Lousiana and this is one of my favorite all around sauses. not that hot at all but add good red/chili pepper flavor with a little sweetness. Work in red and butter beans, tacos, mixes with BBQ for babyback ribs (sweet heat).

My husband used to be addicted to ketchup – he put it on everything. I picked up a bottle of Tiger Sauce on a whim when I was at my local Walmart last year, for me. My husband tried it one day and the bottle was empty that same week.

I now order it on Walmart. com, 5 bottles at a time, because he no longer uses ketchup but now puts Tiger Sauce on everything. Eggs, potatoes, grilled meats, veggies, fried rice, on soup of a bowl of soup, it’s delicious on it all!.

Love it so much. I just finished my second round of whole30 and this is one of the only complaint sriracha (no sugar added) I could find. And it’s amazing to boot! This will be the only sriracha I will continue to buy even off round.

I use it on almost everything. A lot better tasting than the popular brand sriracha and lovely ingredients!.

This is a great dipping sauce and compared to the other Heinz mashup flavours this is the best one. Taste wise it reminds me of a milder “Golden Arches”sweet chili sauce; less sweet and more spicy. So far we’ve only used it on chicken strips, nuggets and wings and it’s been amazing.

It’s liked so much that we’re going to try it in crockpot meatballs next and substitute the chili sauce for this sauce.

Not a spicey palate in my mouth, but my brother-in-law is staying with us for a while and he says this is pretty good stuff. Still looking for his ‘favorite’ Sriracha Sauce, but he assures me this will hold him over quite nicely.

I did stick my finger in a spot of it and it IS way hotter than I can tolertate personally. To each his own, huh?.

Heinz Honeyracha Honey Sriracha Sauce; Heinz Honeyracha is a delicious sauce combination of sweet honey and the spicy flavor of sriracha hot sauce perfect portion of hot and sweet. Will be adding to my monthly grocery list.

I like the regular Texas Pete Hot sauce, so I thought I’d try this. It’s very good, but I think I could have bought a more commonly available product and had the same or similar taste. It’s good, but not uniquely so.

Love this! it tastes exactly like the Simply Natural Organic Green Sriracha. I love the Simply Natural Srirachas and Costco had it once and it was gone after. This Trader joe’s one replaced it. It tastes the same or very similar! It also looks the same and i think the ingredients are pretty similar.

One of my favorite new sauces! It’s not super hot but gives a great kick to eggs, chicken, veggies, and pasta. I like how it’s different from sriracha or Frank’s and it’s great for when I want to switch it up.

I followed the instructions on the jar for instant pot cooking. The flavor was pretty good, but the consistency left room for improvement. Super watery/liquidy. Maybe slow cooker or poached chicken tossed in the sauce would be an improvement.

Either way- my kids loved the taste. For adults, I wish it had a bit more kick. WIll probably make again, but try another method!.

Love this, I buy it all the time. I make it into more of a chicken stew in the crockpot. Here is my recipe: 2 large chicken breasts 1/2 chopped onion 1 1/2 cup chopped carrot 1 1/2 cup chopped celery 1 chopped red pepper 2 heaping tsp knorr chicken broth powder 2 cups water Cook all day in crockpot.

Shred the chicken with two forks, stir, ladle into bowls. Spicy and delicious! Whole family loves it.

I actually loved this sauce! I’m always looking for new ways to make chicken. Cooked 2 chicken breasts with the sauce in the crock pot, added a good amount of sea salt and onion salt. Shredded up the chicken and served over Spanish rice, quac, sour cream and veggies.

Yummy! The only thing I didn’t like is that they used canola & soybean oil in the ingredients.
