20 Best Sanitary Pads For Teenager (2023 Updated)

I have used U by Kotex products for at least 7 years now. I’m not sure why they decided to change the products but you can clearly tell these are not the same pads they used to be. They’re SO FLIMSY.

They move constantly whereas before they NEVER moved. They’re also thinner but not in a good way. They feel extremely cheap and even with the heavy or overnight you go through them QUICK. You’re using twice as much with this inferior product so spending twice as more.

I don’t think that’s a coincidence since companies always want more of your money for less of theirs. I’m definitely finding a different company for pads/tampons and you should too.

The title says it all. These are god tier pads if you have super heavy periods. If you struggle with blood crawling up your crack and causing stains in the back of your underwear, these are the answer.

I’ve used them for like 4 years now and I’ve never looked back. One thing I’ve seen people fail to mention is how much better these are then the Always ones are texture-wise. I tried the Always ultra thin overnight pads and the edge didn’t have any adhesive so it was just itching my butt the whole night, on top of having this odd, almost plastic texture.

These don’t do that, you put them down, and bam! All the edges stay flat and leave your poor booty alone when you’re trying to sleep. The only complaint is that sometimes the adhesive sticks to the bottom of some of my underwear near the crotch area so I have to rip it off and it leaves behind some of the pad.

I then have to spend like 10 minutes trying to remove it and struggling because the adhesive literally has glued itself onto my underwear. It’s only with this one very specific set of polyester undies though, so for most people this shouldn’t be an issue.

If you wear cotton underwear like you’re supposed to, these come off like a dream. The protection they offer outweighs the annoyance I feel when I have to remove the adhesive though, and not even once have I considered changing the brand of pads I use.

I recently tried kotex brand for the coupon incentives as being a new mom period poverty is real. I have always been brand loyal to my last company but here are some pros/cons I’ve noticed. Kotex is much softer and i get less irritation from rubbing against my skin.

I fond kotex to always have good sales and coupons to help with cost. My only complaint is the adhesive is not strong enough on most to properly stay in place. I always choose “with wings” but find that it shifts causing leaks which is sad because inwould love to remain brand loyal to you.

If you could improve this inwould shout KOTEX ONLY from the mountain tops !!!! Your truly. a heavy bleeder.

All I can say is how lucky I am that I happened to have a box of the Always Radiant Teen Pads Get Real Regular because my 10 year old (OMGosh, yes 10 year old) daughter just stated her period for the first time! She knew everything about periods and what to do, which made this easier, but she was so excited there were pads designed for younger girls, like her! I’m pretty sure that if she had to use one of mine in her underwear it would be like a diaper, lol.

She says these pads are very comfortable, they fit in her underwear perfectly and she feels clean still using them. I am grateful Always brought out pads for younger girls, but wish these would’ve been available when I was 11! I had to use one of those bulky, extremely uncomfortable pads that smelled awful, no matter how often I changed them and always felt like I was sitting on a huge wad of toilet paper! I’m extremely happy that my daughter doesn’t have to go through her first experience in a negative way, like I did.

This has been so much easier to get through thanks to Always! So thin, so comfortable and super absorbing! Brilliant idea for beginner girls starting out!.

I have two teen daughters and I got these because so thought they were a smaller size. I don’t actually think they are really much smaller if any. I had to use one when I ran out and it seemed to fit just like a regular size one pad would.

I noticed no difference in the absorbency either. I have nothing bad to say because this style in this brand is awesome. They are super comfortable and unscented. The only thing that could make them better is if they can with a without wings option.

My daughters and I don’t really care for wings so I try to only find options without them. It seems most of them have wings unfortunately. These are thin and flexible which helps keep them unnoticeable which I feel is very important for young girls while in school.

Other than giving more wingless options, another improvement for these would be quiet and more discreet wrappers.

I got these pads to use on the lighter days and overnights of my period (usually days 4 and 5). The first thing I noticed about them was the cute tropical designs on the individual wrappers, as well as the pads themselves.

I’ve never seen pads with cute designs on them before and it makes wearing them more fun and girly. These pads have a nice length and width to them, and the thickness is just right. They aren’t thick and bulky so they work well with the curves of my body and don’t shift around.

They still provide great absorbency and protection, and they feel soft and smooth. I love that they have wings to protect my underwear and pants. They were very comfortable to wear, both day and night.

I didn’t have any issues with leaks while using these pads. Since they are thin and not too long, I felt like they were less visible under my clothes. I would definitely recommend these pads.

Yesterday, I bought the Kotex pads for heavy periods and I have been leaking through almost all of them. It’s day one which is normally a little heavier for me, so the absorbency level “heavy” is usually perfect.

However, this new design is way too thin with very little absorbency. It’s as if the liquid just rolls off. It’s like and extra large panty liner. Wtf!! This is a real vagina here, not a flat plastic doll that sits in one position all day.

I have to add a layer of toilet tissue for extra protection which completely defeats the purpose. If you (Kotex) are running low on cotton, just say that! I’ve gone through so many pads in just one day! Ridiculous!!.

So, I’ve had my period for 20 years and have used a plethora of pads in that time. These are the BEST dang pads that I have ever used. They are quite thin, and I am pretty sure they used black magic or something to get them to absorb like this.

I don’t even care what kind of ritual was used, frankly, because these babies have never let me down in my 4 months of usage. My period is pretty much like the blood elevator in the shinig, and I havent had a single leak, even overnight, and I am not even using the overnight version.

So my conclusion I realize these cost a bit more than other pads. But they work SO much better than anything else, I no longer even consider buying other brands or even the cheaper Always products. Fit, ease of use, absorbancy, comfort, no leaks – even overnight, no moving or bunching no matter how active you are – they are the best in every category.

The adhesive sticks where you put it, but it’s not so sticky that the pad sticks to itself before you can get it positioned. And it’s incredibly absorbent without getting bulky or uncomfortable. All things considered, they are fabulous!.

I have always a had a very heavy and painful menstruation. Since tampons increase the pain and leak after 2 hours, I switched to Always feminine care products. Always Radiant Size 2 Heavy Flow Pads, Light Clean Scent is what I reach for at the beginning of my menstruation.

It’s super heavy flow. Between frequent walking and sitting and standing, I need a longer pad with wings. I also need it to not leak and be able to withstand a 5 mile jog. The size 2 is excellent for moderate to heavy flow for use during the day.

Great quality as usual, it’s from brand that care about you and your needs. This brand never rest and constantly give their best to improve their products. Great size for medium flow, I personally use it in particular days and also use other products from the same brand.

Stick properly on the underwear, stay on place, no bunching, no stickiness on the underwear after removing it. It can handle very well with medium flow, no odor, no wet feeling. I personally feel secured, fresh and clean.

I absolutely trust this brand.

Normally I buy Always Sensitive, but when I went to restock in my local store this was all they had. I figured I would give these new ones a go. I wish I hadn’t. It took me a while to realise that the hot rotting floral smell I was getting was coming from my underwear.

Even my husband could smell that I was wearing them! It’s not clearly marked on them that they are perfumed. (It cannot be good to have fragrance like this rubbing against your vulva). Speaking of rubbing, the plastic feel had to be the worst part, a bit like I imagine it might feel to wear a scrunched up plastic bag in my knickers.

Whenever I am on the lookout for sanitary pads, Whisper is the name that first comes to mind. This latest offering by Whisper is just as lovely as the previous versions I have used and loved. The pads are long and wide, thanks to which you do not have to worry about leakage or stains.

They are thin and light, very comfortable to wear. The absorbency is really, really good – you can use these in those days of heavy flow, and forget all about it. These pads also come with an odour lock gel, which takes care of any unpleasant smells.

These are the best pads I have found in length. They are actually long enough to do the job and stop leaks. Slightly let down that they feel slightly rough compared to other brands. They could also do with updating their wrappers for disposal as other brands have and make it more convenient.

The little tab isn’t enough to the use wrapped product together. It comes open in the bin which is embarrassing. They’d do well to look at some of their competitors packaging styles who have moved on from a little tab.

It’s a good product though and does the job.

If like me you’re someone who needs to pad your underwear with absolute military precision or risk losing your pad either between the cheeks as it screws up into the infamous “Farfalle of doom”, or sticks itself down your leg ready to ambush when you’re on the throne, these are an absolute Godsend.

With Always ultra, I know what I purchase. I feel very secure that I’ll get through the night without any issues. The wings are great. They stick enough to be fully secured in place, without leading to those horrible moments where the pad is completely stuck to your undies.

Excuse the pun, but Always is a brand I always trusted. Until I felt comfortable using anything but pads, Always was the best brand then and holds its own now. I use regular pads on heavier flow days to minimize leakage but they were never entirely comfortable.

They’ve come a long way to arrive at what they are now. They flex and feel like cloth, no crinkly diaper noises at all. The absorbent layer looks cottony but looks stronger like a craft foam. I actually tested the absorbency with water and was pretty impressed by how quickly it absorbed and, as long as it’s not at capacity, does maintain a surprisingly dry feel.

This usually means it’s better at trapping odor although I can’t confirm that. The adhesive is actually a lot stronger than it used to be but still easy to reposition until you press it more firmly. It’s not going to destroy your underwear taking it off, assuming you’re not wearing delicates like silk or lace, but I would never risk the ‘good underwear’ with that experiment anyway.

Leaks do happen. Sometimes the way we sleep can actually cause leaks to bypass tampons and pads (yes, that’s definitely happened). However, with well fitting underwear, this design definitely minimizes this risk.

I love the Fit chart that helps you decide what size to get based on your personal size and flow. It can help you establish a baseline until you get to know which ones are best for you. Because of the design, these look like they’d be great for light incontinence issues too, but a full bladder holds a lot more liquid than a full uterus so I’d stick with light, like if you have the tendency to pee a little with sneezing, coughing or laughing.

It’s a terrific design though so no matter your needs, this will be a good choice for hygiene and efficiency. I’ll definitely keep these around as my backup for heavy flow. They’re much more breathable than period underwear.

I use Size 1 pads on the days leading up to my period and in its early stages when it is very light. I love trying out different products because that’s the only way to know for sure, what will work for you and what won’t.

I wanted to give these pads a try because they have “flexfoam” and I wanted to experience that first hand. I wanna start by saying the packaging is nice and modern. It’s very informative and tells me everything I need to know right there.

The pads themselves have a thin but kinda foam-like feel. They are soft to the touch and the foam screams “better protection from leaks”. They are easy to apply and the process is what you would expect from a feminine pad.

They are very comfortable, didn’t bunch up, and there was no sliding or unwanted movements. The foam really does move with you and because of that, the pad stays in place. They are so lightweight and thin that it really feels like nothing is there and that’s great and scary at the same time!!! Again, I do think these are great for light days or someone who generally has lighter periods.

For me, I wouldn’t be able to wear them overnight or on heavy days but they would suit me just fine on my lighter days. The foam really does help the pad stay in place, I didn’t have any leaks or felt uncomfortable, and most of all I was able to complete my usual daily tasks without worrying about my pad.

I tried these out for just a day and realized they are much too thick for me. I normally purchase thin pads with wings, but I saw that these were extra long with wings and decided to give them a try.

First, I learned while wearing these that I do not like to feel like I am wearing a diaper or postpartum undies. And because these go so far up the buttocks, I feel like my pad can be seen through my pants since I mostly wear stretch pants or jeggings for comfort.

I think these pads would work just fine for someone that does not mind the padding or the overall thickness. Since these pads are so thick, I feel like there isn’t a “breathability” to them. I feel sweaty and gross and eventually switch out to thinner pads.

These overnight pads are perfect for people like me with heavy flows and long sleep times. I do not get up during the night, so I need 8 plus hours of protection while sleeping and no accidents. This pad’s design is great for these needs for many reasons.

They are extra long to cover more, but I like that they also are wider in the back, so this catches the flow when sleeping on your back. it has layers and groves that serves as extra protection from leaking along with quick absorption, so I feel dry when I get up to change out my pads.

The wings along with length provides full coverage and they stay in place. This is perfect and keeps the pad from bunching up or moving while tossing and turning in your sleep and having accidents on your bed.

I got this product since I have never tried it before. But I didn’t like the size of the pad. I need more protection to avoid staining my underwear. I still used them but two pads each time to make them longer.

Liked that it didn’t have a weird fragrance. And I can get rid of the used pads without a problem. The pads are great for people who care about the environment and sustainable practices. The packaging shows how much flow the pad can tolerate.

Another thing I liked about them is the thickness of the pad, it is not noticeable. And the pad dries fast and feels comfortable.

I can’t stand pads with wings, and it’s gotten kind of hard to find pads without them lately, so it has been great to discover these. They are long, very absorbent pads with a very sticky adhesive on the backside to attach them to your panties.

No messing around with annoying wings! These are unscented, which is good. To be honest, though, I don’t like long pads, and I only wear them when I have to. However, the length of these didn’t really bother me! That’s very surprising to me, but I think it’s because the pad itself is so thin.

I don’t really feel it; it definitely isn’t bulky or obtrusive. That’s probably as close to ‘comfortable’ as a pad can get! They are also good for overnight wear to catch any unexpected leaks, especially toward the end of my period.

ImseVimse were one of the first CSP brands I bought and they are so comfy! They provide a lot of reassurance, I haven’t had any leaks so far and no staining. Would recommend!

Exactly as described, happy with the result. The only downside is that the folds are not waterproof so had a few leaks when I moved too much.

The sanitary pads are really good, I recommend it the only thing that I would have like the price to have included a case to hold them in.

SO COZY. I was pretty skeptical at first but these turned out to be amazing. They’re a little pricier than the regular always infinity that I use, but they’re worth it. These are so much softer (think of a nice jersey cotton t-shirt), they stay securely in place, are very lightweight/thin and are extremely absorbent.

I initially chose super absorbency because I thought that this brand line might be less absorbent due to being so thin, but that is not the case. Regular absorbency will do the trick just fine! Moisture is wicked away from the skin very quickly and never makes me feel messy.

I definitely recommend these if you like feeling comfy by wearing pads, but don’t like the feeling of a burrito between your legs.

I can’t find the product, but I recently started using the new cotton ones from Always and LOVE them. They feel much different from the other kinds this brand or other brands sell. Always wasn’t my favorite brand until I started using the cotton ones.

They’re comfortable and make me feel dry throughout the day. I never knew it’d be such a pleasant experience with wearing pads until this discovery. 😂.

So I found these at Fred Myers the other day on sale for $4. 99. I have been using the infinity and radiant lines for a while and have been hsppy bvb with them. I saw these and decided to give them a try.

I like that they are free of bleach. The packaging gives off this clean feeling. The pads only have a simple white wrappers. The pad is really soft and you can barely feel it’s there. It has good absorbency and I feel that I can trust it to work well throughout the day.

I will definitely be buying these again.

Best things on the market! When I see I’m getting down to 3-5 bags, I look for sales to avoid the horror of running out. I have long pretty fluidy periods. These don’t rub me to irritation by the end of my cycle.

They hold lots of liquid. And they stay in place well. I would like for them to be a little longer for night time without so much more additional cost (package with red print), but it is what it is. I am pretty chunky, so that might be some of the night time issue now, as it wasn’t before I put on extra weight that I’m working to get rid of.

For bed, if not using the ones in the red package, I’m just more strategic about how high in the back I place them for reduced leakage issues. I don’t generally have a problem with this. I just worry a little since about 3 of the 10 days my cycle is on are pretty heavy.

They hold up well through daily activities and are not bulky. I prefer these to the other pads, and I’ve tried most all of the quality ones and a few of the cheaper ones too. Even compared to most of the ones made in the U.

S. that are anion free, I prefer these! I gave one to a student once, who asked if she could start making trades with me. So, I just gave her the order info and 2 extra pads, since these bad buddies are affordable but not if I have to provide them to all of my little chics in my classes.

I wish my budget allows for me to donate these to the school like I can with the store bought brands of pads. The package is nice a small, so I can keep one in my desk at work and one in my glove box.

These are thin and hold oh so we’ll, that I can generally have 2 in my “extras” bag in my purse.

These pads are super comfortable. When using them for extra protection with tampons, I feel fresher than I do using other brands and there’s no sweat rash or skin irritation. However, the absorbency isn’t as good as other brands so I don’t like using them alone alone on normal to heavy flow days.

Unlike leading brand’s pads (that are designed to pull in menses and hold it within an absorbant core), these pads hold less flow and menses sits on top of the pads somewhat so I feel they need changing more often and there’s more clean up.

I prefer to use these pads on lighter days when this isn’t an issue as they’re for more comfortable than other brands. The wings and sticky back do a good job of holding the pad in place.

These pads are horrible. No absorbency at all. Wearing them at night is a guaranteed mess when you wake up, and wearing them during the day feels disgusting because it doesn’t absorb. No thanks, never again.

It also leaves little bits of fiber from the pad down there… not a good look.

The Always Maxi Size 3 Extra Long Super Pads with Wings, Unscented. Are 100 % leak-free comfort. I love these Always Maxi Size 3 Extra Long Super Pads with Wings. They are very soft and comfortable compared to the pads that I have been using throughout the past years.

I love that these Always Maxi leak-free pads are Unscented because I am allergic to most scented materials. I noticed that the always pads keep you dry longer and it helps me be more comfortable especially when leaving my home to go to work or run tasks because the pad itself is really comfortable and I don’t have to worry about an accident on my clothes because these Always Maxi Pads that are 100% Leak-Free.

Love these, I will not use any other brand. They’re perfect. No stupid design or disgusting fragrance. I really like that they’re petite so they don’t reach from your belly button to your tailbone, but they still get the job done.

These are handy as inital starter for teens who start their first periods. My daughter tried these and she liked the packaging being discreet. As the pads are small they are idea for light flow and as young teens get used to their cycle/ first few months of their periods.

They are also handy for when wearing shorts as teens want discreet and comfort and handy for the humid weather. You have to change the pad often but i suppose it is a good way for teens to get used to their cycle and for night time these are handy for sleepovers and at home.

The wings help the pad stay in place better. When teens are ready they then go onto the longer pads.

This is another great product from Lil-lets. My daughter liked the packaging as she was able to stick them in her draw and they weren’t falling out of the bag. The towels are absorbent and easy for her to use She found them comfortable and it didn’t annoy her in the night to wake her up.

It also didn’t give her than nappy rash feeling that some towels give as the material is very soft. They are a good fit too as the ‘lady’ size towels are enormous on her! The only complaint as I had with the day towels is the name they are Teens my daughter is 11 and she thought that they were not suitable for her because of the name but with a little persuasion she gave them a go.

Maybe a rethink to the product name is in order.
