20 Best Sandals Resort For Families (2023 Updated)

I have over 20 pairs of Vionic sandals and was excited to see this one. I wear a lot of flip flop style Vionics and thought this would be dressier for work. I ordered 3 pair and just wore the pewter pair yesterday for the first time.

So disappointed in them. Like others have said, the shoe is very loose and moved around too much for my taste. On the tightest hole my foot still slid in the shoes and at times I looked down and my toes were over the front of the shoe.

Go back to the drawing board with this one and bring back one that works.

I bought two pair of these sandals and absolutely love them! They are comfortable and stylish. They don’t fit as tight as most sandals do but I live in the south and my feet tend to swell a little when I get hot.

These are perfect and look great with shorts and sundresses. They do fit true to size in the length.

I bought these for my daughter’s wedding. I love Vionic because so have extremely flat feet, and they are so supportive. However, I do have very long narrow feet. These run wide. I can’t figure out why some of their shoes come in a 12 and other Do not.

Where have you been all my life! I’ve tried many brands through my years (decades). These are made for my feet! I mean, really made for me that’s how comfortable they feel. I’m continuously looking for the best products for my needs.

These have made my journey of searching end when discovered. I’m very finicky when it comes to footwear especially sandals. It took about 3-4 uses to get use to them but, well worth it. They stand up very well in water and dirt/mud.

I even wear them in the snow for quick short walks with the dogs. I wear size 12 but have a little bit shorter toes by about 3-7%. Still look good! Material is great, comfortable, stylish, and durable.

I blow out flips all the time climbing, short sprints/jogs, chasing kids and dogs. They have held up and past my expectations. I really appreciate and respect companies that create products built with all around quality and style.

I like the feel of the solid sole. The strong arches feel good when walking in them. I am still just wearing them around the house. I have not ventured out wearing them as I am uncomfortable with the job they look on my foot.

I wear a size 5 shoe in all styles, but my foot in this sandal makes them look like they are to big for me. There is an outline of where the toes would reach and my toes to do not reach that line. And then the rest of the sole extends beyond that.

Because my toes do not extend out into the end of the shoe. I feel like they are not fitting as they should. I did not try them on or walk around in them enough evidently because I did not notice it when I ordered them.

Hopefully I can resolve this issue so I wear them.

Initial fit is fine. I very much like the style and colour (claret). It’s a bit too wide in the toe box area (this is wide, even very wide) for me you would need very wide or deep feet for it to fit perfectly.

I am average width and quite flat feet. But because the fit is not deep in the same area I’m hoping it will continue, as the leather softens, to fit me well. Time will tell. The fitting around the ankle and heel are superb with good adjustablity.

I have high hopes for these sandals and due to their cost (expensive) I’m hoping they will last me a few years.

Finding sandals has always been a struggle for me, but the leather on these is so soft and feels wonderfully “broken in”. I’ve logged lots of KMs already and have zero rubbing, which is huge for me! Please note that these don’t have much support so they aren’t the right shoe for serious walks.

But for everyday? They’re perfect. I’ve dressed them up and down. I also got caught in a rain storm in them and they still look brand new. Huge fan!.

I get a pair of these for my daughter every year, usually the ones with the thicker soles but they’re not available in larger sizes. I find Salt water sandals always fit a bit larger than all her other shoes.

Anyway, they’re very durable and can be worn in water which is ideal in summer. I love red shoes so I got her the red ones and surprisingly they work with most outfits. She loves them. Shipping was super quick!.

I bought these for my husband to replace an identical pair that had worn out. He says they are the most comfortable things he has ever worn especially as he has had various foot problems and these have ways been there for him when he couldn’t wear anything else.

They are great quality and the buckles are adjustable, which he needs as he has a high instep and sometimes can’t get his feet into shoes. They also helped with his balance as one of his feet rolls slightly to one side.

I also have a ladies version and agree that they are extremely comfortable, but also durable as I tend to do a lot of walking and hate trainers especially on holidays.

I have these in dark gray and got them about a year ago. They are what I reach for to slip on for all sorts of running around and they are cozy… but they take some time. Out of the box, I had to figure out what the best strap sizing was for me.

I initially had them too loose and that gave me some pretty impressive blisters. They are tighter now and haven’t had any issues since. Also, the footbed will develop your “footprint” over time. I haven’t been successful at cleaning that off of the suede, even with the Birkenstock cleaning kit.

Just an FYI. Overall, I love them and have bought more. 😉.

I kept seeing these Freedom Moses everywhere on social media and I decided to see what all of the hype is about. As a Birkenstock-wearer, I thought that a rubber shoe would be a good option for wetter options and the beach, however these were much heavier than expected, the buckles do not adjust (and they seemed somewhere tight over my arch) and ran a bit small.

Honestly, they remind me of a knock-off $5 slide from a bargain store. I’m sure they’re comfortable, they’re just not for me. For the price, I’ll stick with my Birkenstock EVA style for a water-friendly sandal this summer.

Love these, very comfortable. Use them for the beach or as slippers around the house. Go up a size. I’m normally 38 or 38. 5. I bought 39/40 and they fit perfectly. Myer only have one size on the drop down box but the actual size is a range.

So size 39 on the drop down menu is actually 39/40 on the shoe. Love the sight metallic colours best over the flat colours.

I love these for the beach/lake because I can walk right in to the water with them. Also great for rainy summer days. Plenty of traction even on slippery wet tile. Not as comfortable as traditional Birks but definitely fine for full day of light activity.

Like Birks they get more comfortable with wear as they stretch.

Absolutely loved this gladiator sandals so much in red orange that I both two pair the second in black. They are so beautiful, sophisticated, and comfortable. Best quality sandals yet, from Coach! The best part I got both of them for the fraction of the original cost!.

Looks like a sturdy shoe online but it’s really softer and has a foam like sole. I just expected better materials/construction. The top straps are kind of tight. It’s a cute shoe but not worth the price.

I love my new Crocs! I give all the credit to my grandkids! Before then, I did not get into the croc hype. They kept telling me to try them I might like them. They are comfortable, cute with the Croc, and stylish for my 70s fashion!.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes! They do run a bit small, though. I usually wear a size 7 but for these I needed an 8!

This is the first ever pair I bought for myself. They fit nicely and are so comfy. Love em.

These sandals are breathtakingly beautiful but come at a cost. However, I’m not talking the actual price of them (which is a great price point). With beauty comes pain, right? Simply said, these are not comfy to wear at all.

They pitch the top of my feet with every step I take. Even though they’re a buckle style sandal, you cannot change the size of the straps. It’s merely for design purposes. Also, I would say that they run a bit small in size as well.

I usually can wear a 5. 5 or a 6 in most shoes and sandals. In these I probably should have sized up to the 7, as the 6 seems to be the exact size of my foot and almost too small for me. I would highly recommend trying these on in the store first to see if they’re comfy for you or not.

I’m highly curious if sizing up would help them feel better when I walk.

The first time I purchased them it was not from here!!!! So I didn’t exactly believe the swoosh noise but it’s true!!!!! It’s a very noticeable noise my left shoe makes like it possibly has a hole in it.

So when I wear it in places that are quiet such as a doctor’s appointment my daughter had I was walking funny trying to keep this shoe from making this silly noise. Not sure how this would even happen when it wasn’t an issue last year.

I would highly suggest trying them to make sure you don’t have a shoe that makes that same noise unless you will be wearing them at times it doesn’t matter. I love the style they’re comfortable looks great but hate that noise!!!!.

Not great but not horrible. They’re comfy and then they’re not. Meaning once the get comfy it seems like they stretch and the buckle should be tightened. I did that and they stretch more. I wore them to a pool party and ever since they make noise like air once I step on the, and it feels like I’m slowly coming down as air leaves the shoe.

it’s noticeable and embarrassing. only worn a few times. I bought black and white. makes me sad. it’s such a cute shoe.

These Sandles are gorgeous and super comfortable on my feet. However, after wearing them for only a few times, I noticed a center stone/bead was missing. I was not happy but luckily still had the box and found extra beads and 1 extra center stone.

I just glued it back in today so we shall see if it stays. These were too expensive to be needing a repair already but they really are pretty.

I purchased the gold pair today and instantly fell in love with the comfort of there sandals. The gold option is a perfect neutral. This would be a great shoe to take on vacation. They look good with a dress as well as shorts.

I am a solid 8. 5 solid the 8 fit well. Size down.

This shoe fits true to size. It’s very comfortable and the straps are not too tight nor do they rub the foot in any way. I have bought them in several colors.

These BOC sandals are so cute and comfy. You can wear these all day without your feet hurting. I just love them!

Therapeutic! Wonder healer pair of shoes! Over a year ago I began to have serious issues with foot and lower leg pain moving into my knees. I discovered Teva through a chance meeting with the wife of an orthopedist after talking together with her husband about my husband’s knee replacement surgery.

She said she won’t wear any other shoe. I had already seen an orthopedic sports medicine clinic and a podiatrist. I recalled that I had a pair of Teva I stopped wearing in the winter and dug them out for the summer after talking to this woman and what a relief!! I discovered more about foot pronation, hypermobility and arch support for my feet and bought my second pair.

I’m back to walking, hiking, and other activities almost immediately after barely being able to stand on my feet getting out of bed. I can’t say enough about the comfort, support, and general good quality of this shoe the Teva Tirra style for me.

I was looking for some sandals for traveling to Chiapas, Mexico during the rainy season (but it would still be warm). I thought I was going to try out the classic Tevas, but I tried these on at the store.

It instantly felt like walking on a cloud! The arch support is amazing and the cushion is nice. I didn’t even try on any other shoes after that because I knew they were the ones. They had zero break-in period.

I immediately wore them for a week of 10 mile+ walking days, rain, mud, or shine. They clean up super easily when muddy. They’re also a breeze to wear due to the Velcro. And the black sandals really do match a lot of outfits! I wear these all the time in warm weather, and I’ve had them for 2.

5 years now. I haven’t seen wear on them, and I feel like they will last me at least 10 years because they feel really durable. I feel like these sandals don’t get as much attention, but I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone! BTW for sizing, I feel it’s true to size.

I have wide feet and feel comfortable in these sandals.

I wear my Teva sandals to work with cute business casual skorts and summer dresses. My plan is to buy a new pair every summer into the future in every possible color so I can match anything I want to wear.

So far I have black with purple accents, and black with white accents. Black, of course, goes with anything. These sandals are comfortable for long walks, and I even wear them on bike rides. The Tevas I bought last summer are still in great condition even though I wore them almost every day.

They were my go-to for a two-park Disney adventure in Orlando last May. My friend wore fancy sneakers and he got blisters, but my feet felt great despite high temps and 12 hours of walking and standing.

In the 90s my friend from Long Island recommended Tevas to me, and I am sorry it has taken me this long to follow her advise. From last summer on, I’ll be a forever fan as long as the quality stays as good as it is.

I bought these to wear to a wedding, knowing I’m not be going bare legged so I wanted a summery looking shoe with a closed toe. I could not get the black in a medium width so I got the narrow (I wear narrow width in Clark’s but not typically in other brands) and they fit perfectly.

Glad I got the narrow. I haven’t worn them yet for any length of time but they fit and feel good so far.

I have for years worn this shoe because it works well with bunions and is cute. the leather is soft. But they don’t last long. the clasp on the strap always have to be replaced because the elastic holding the clasp gets stretched out and then breaks.

i then take it to the shoe repair place and spend $12 or more. AND this time the shoes came in two different widths. one said 10 wide and the other 10 medium. I have to stretch both out to have them fit.

This was disappointing.

I had a very difficult time with the buckle on these shoes. It’s nearly impossible to get the strap and buckle to fasten together. I returned them and now will be charged $13. 05 (return shipping) for privilege of not being able to put them on or take them off.

I won’t be ordering from QVC ever again.

I discovered the Vionic Brand about 4 years ago; have purchased mostly Sandals and Boots. I wear a size 5&1/2 in sandals in other bands but have found that going down 1/2 size in sandals in Vionic is my perfect fit! These are no exception.

So happy with my first purchase from Zulily. Package arrived in 2 days. They fit perfectly, Love the bright pink adjustable bands which made it easy to adjust to my foot. The cork footbed is comfortable and I am sure I will wear them often.

I wear Vionics all year round. I basically live in them, over 15 pairs. I purchase them at Qvc and at retail depending on size, style and availability. I prefer the non sueded footbed as I personally find the suede type irritates my feet after a day in them.

Vionic seems to be making more sueded footbeds so I’m disappointed in that and now looking to other brands. I typically purchase an 8. I most often wear the thong style ( between the toes). I have never had an issue with irritation.

This pair, even after reading size specs just did NOT fit properly. My heel was to rear edge of shoe. Adjusting cross straps could not help. Yet the toe area had too much space up front. Not able to move my foot forward as the arch was then off.

Being an orthopedic alternative type shoe choice, This made the show Completely UNwearable for me. I did like the style but comfort and proper fit is paramount. Very disappointed in the fit and sizing.

Returned!.

I was most excited that Vionic finally had a sandal that appealed to me. I prefer a heel, however, I do have some wedges in my closet. The strap adjustability and the look of the leather straps and the slip on feature were perfect.

They also had a light, I. e. not black bottom. I’m a big fan of their orthotic inserts and these sandlals were so comfortable! Walking in them was the problem for me. There is zero flexibility to the sole.

It was a bit like walking in Herman Munster shoes. They were also too wide for my foot. To get them to stay on I had to cinch the straps over the edge of the shoe and they would loosen as I walked. I also found them to feel heavy when walking.

Still, not a deal breaker because they were so comfortable. Then, after 15 minutes of clomping around, adjusting the straps yet again, the bottom of my feet began to burn. I could not get them off fast enough.

Tried them again another day; same problem. I didn’t like the bumps on the footbed either. The leather is beautiful, they’re comfortable, good for a wider foot and unfortunately not leather lined on the footbed.

Sadly I returned them.

Not only are they comfortable but they are also really nice looking!! I’m a fan of platforms but I really like that these don’t have like a really thick platform. It’s just the right amount of height.

I got them in black for indoors when I want to look put together but secretly wearing lazy shoes. I have not work them out yet but you definitely can. I do think that they are a bit wide for me. They are not tight at all so maybe for someone with a wide foot would definitely enjoy this.

I did have to go up a size because I wanted something comfortable and not have my sole right on the edge of the shoe and I’m glad I did. I definitely use them as slippers but they don’t look too much like slippers in my opinion.

I just wanted something I could wear in the summer that wouldn’t make my feet hot.

The shoes are super cute and colors are great. they are super comfy if you’re just standing still but once you start walking, they feel like they are going to fall off. the bands that go across your foot don’t really hold your foot in.

and b/c the soles of the shoes don’t flex, it feels weird. Like the bottom is so stiff but the top is overly flexible. So yeah I could wear them and walk around, but if I want to wear them for more than an hour, the constant slipping off would really get to me.

It shouldn’t be work to keep your shoes on while walking. I’m bummed though because they are super cute and I really wanted them to work.

Bought these a couple of weeks ago. They’re very squishy to walk in! Pretty comfy. To be honest, I haven’t walked very far in these. The first time I wore them was at a birthday party and was complimented on how comfy they look.

I don’t know if I walked in something weird but there now seems to be a dusty film on the inside of my shoe. The “Hush Puppy” labels in my shoes also seem to be fading already. But, for someone with bunions who danced for over 30+ years, these shoes are comfy and cute! I am kicking myself for not getting the pink or blue (I got black).

First the negatives and why Im not giving 5 starts- I ordered a size 2/3 for my Oldest daughter who wears a size 2 in kids and they were drastically too small. I tried them on my youngest daughter who wears an 11 in kids and they fit perfectly! So now she has a new pair of flips flops! Lol.

Funnily, I’d ordered myself a pair of adult size 11 but was mistakenly shipped an adult 5/6 and those actually fit my oldest daughter perfectly even tho she usually wears a size 2! So these shoes run a couple sizes off.

However! The quality, styles, and comfort are wonderful!! They have a nice soft footbed while still proving good support. My girls love their new flips flops and say they are very comfortable. Will order again now that I know how to size them.

Great quality product and so comfortable. I love them so much I bought two pairs! Also, the price was really affordable and they arrived crazy fast! They were exactly as they looked online, but I was surprised at the quality and feel of the sandal.

I only gave them five stars because there was no option for TEN!.

I can’t believe these are so comfy and they are so cute! Have some support and they are slim. If you have a wide foot, they might not be for you. The tile floors in the house kill my feet, so I am always in flip flops inside.

These are just ultra comfortable. I really don’t post reviews, but I just told a friend about them, and sharing my review here. I hope they last a long time. But, at this price, if I have them a summer, I will be happy.

I gave these shoes 2 stars because they are actually cute and look like the picture and the best thing about these shoes are they are a true size 11 which is very difficult to come across when ordering shoes online.

The only issue I have with these is the poor quality. The clear material is very flimsy and reminds me the plastic hanger loops that come inside of clothing that you can’t hand regularly on a hanger without the loops (i.

e. off the shoulder tops). I got these to wear for my upcoming trip to Vegas this March while walking the strip but I’m afraid they may break somehow because the straps just don’t feel secure. I can be a bit clumsy when getting lit with my friends on vacay so I need a more sturdier shoe.

Had they made these with better quality material, these sandals would be 👌🏾🔥🔥🔥.

I love it! I only put it on for a few minutes but it is nice and gorgeous! Makes a good Valentino dupe too. The plastic material might cause a bit digging into the skin if it’s too tight. Maybe it’s just new, but the straps that secure around the ankles are very stiff.

Also would not recommend for those with large ankles. I could only secure it at the first hole because my ankles are a bit big. I am a size 8!.

These Bs are tight af on the ankles I mean I’ll still wear them kuz they soooo cute but if you got some Kankel‘s like I do be prepared for your ankle to suffocate. I mean it’s on the last dot for me.

I’m 5’4 245 wear 13/15 in fn pants depending on stretch an a 1x if there’s no stretch. I’m an 8. 5 an it fit perfectly like I can still wear them but she gonna have a suffocated ankle later lol.

I really loved the look of these in the picture but unfortunately they run so small. I wear a 7 and definitely would need an 8 in these. They were final sale which is a bummer but a risk you take when ordering online I guess.

I would definitely recommend sizing up at least one size of you are considering these.

So comfortable and true to size. I wear a 8. 5 – 9 depending on the shoe but I’m always half a size up in flip flops. I ordered a 8. 5 the first time but it was a little short at the heel so I returned it and exchanged it for a size 9 and it’s perfect.

I absolutely loves these sandals. The double strap Keeps them from flapping around on your foot and on top of that they are so super cute! I got them on sale during a big shoe sale which made it even better.

This is a beautiful sandal that fits perfectly in a size 40 on my long narrow feet. In USA sizes, I wear a 9 or 9 1/2. In mgemi, I wear a 40 1/2 closed toe shoe and a 40 in a sandal. The thong sandals fit my feet perfectly and they stay on comfortably! I am always looking for a thong sandal as they stay on my feet! I love these sandals & have purchased several colors! 🌟.

It looks like a vanity sandal – one that all of the cool girls wear, walking down the sidewalk smiling. And it’s really worth smiling about! It’s comfortable all the way around – the straps, the thong, the sole.

There is nothing that binds or feels to tight. It’s really summer in a shoe.

I bought these sandals for my 5th grade daughter. We loved them , but she is going through a growth spurt and apparently needed another larger size, sigh. I used my birthday coupon for this pair when they were on sale, plus a male version of this shoe for my son, who also needed a bigger size , and I was sad because I knew that I wouldn’t be able to return them and get the steal of a deal that I’d gotten with the smaller sizes.

Marcus from the Springfield store called the company and they worked it out to do an even exchange for me! It took a little figuring, but he and they lady from Lands End made sure that I was able to get the great bday deal I was so excited about! Customer service here is the best! And my kids wear these shoes all over at the lake, playing and doing chores.

They hold up great, wash well, and are super comfy for my long and super narrow footed children.

I really like these sandals. They are very comfortable and the fit is great! Here’s the problem~the description says “thick, rubber sole,” and that is misleading. The parts of the foot that strike the floor (heel and ball of foot) on the sole are rubber, but the rest of the sole is a cheaper plastic.

I noticed it right away when I tried them on and walked across the hardwood floor that my foot slipped with each step. I’ve had this problem with other sandals in the past, and it’s dangerous when walking across tile floors (stores, airports, etc).

If you’re going to wear them strictly outside, then they would be 5 stars. Sadly, I’ll have to return them.

I am a 30-year-old single lady, and I almost didn’t buy these because of another reviewer mentioning that they looked like grandma shoes. I may not be the most fashion-forward person, but I like to think I dress for my age, and these sandals in pink are super cute.

Yes, they’re somewhat bulky, but they don’t look weird and they’re not heavy. They seem pretty comfortable and I look forward to walking around in them. I work in a pretty casual corporate office; I think I can get away with wearing these with a dress or skirt in that setting.

I had been wanting these for forever! Finally treated myself and ordered them! Like most of the reviews these do run small. I usually wear a size 6 and ordered up a size to a 7 and they fit perfect! The shoes are gorgeous!! The colors are so much more vibrant in person! And I love how they come with a protective bag.

These shoes are not comfortable. The sole is hard and has no cushion. The band will need some breaking in. I HIGHLY suggest wearing these a few times with a little more of a thicker sock. The first time I wore them barefoot they cut the tops of my toes.

I switched to socks and still caused an issues but with a slightly thicker pair it helped more. Once the strap stretches a bit that issues went away for me. These are nothing more than just a true fashion sandal.

They do make an outfit pop and add style to your look! But I would not wear these if you plan to do a lot of walking.

I bought mine in store from Gucci because the associates at my Nordstrom told me they don’t have any of these slides in the store. I have been wanting these slides for years and have always put off purchasing them because of the cost.

My birthday is in less than a month and I decided to treat myself since I have never bought luxe before so this is my first. I am obsessed. I love the colors of the flowers so much and I love how well they go with the brown GG print.

Pictures don’t do these sandals justice. They are so much prettier in person. I am normally a 7. 5 in sandals. At first I got a size 7 (37) but decided they were too tight at the strap and kind of squished my feet so I went back to the Gucci store and exchanged them for the 8 (38) and they fit perfect! Love these slides so much I wear them everyday.

They are perfect for casual wear and you can even dress them up. The only con I have besides the price (It is Gucci though haha) is the stiffness of the canvas strap which many commenters have already pointed out.

It isn’t extremely painful for me but definitely not what I was expecting. Other than that, I love the shoe and I would say it’s worth the money depending on how you look at it. I think it’s perfect for a treat yourself splurge gift if you can afford to shell out some extra coins.

If not, adidas adilette slides are another one of my favorites for way less of a cost.

I typically wear a 7 or 7. 5 in sandals and ordered these in a 38. The toe strap fits snugly but not uncomfortable at all. I don’t detect any rubbing or friction points. The white Gucci logo is stitched in so it has a higher end look from that standpoint.

That said, the sole is much thinner than a typical designer slide and feels flimsy, more like a beach flip flop than a sandal. The toe strap is bubble design which also cheapens the look a little to me.

The flimsy sole has caused these to be a no for me, especially over $400. Rating these as true to size though because all designer shoes run this way, about a half size off from regular shoes.
