20 Best Sandals For Planters Fasciitis (2023 Updated)

I have a high arch and wide foot and always order wide width in Vionic shoes, sandals and flip flops. After noticing another reviewer with wide feet stating that these Tides work for them, I decided to take a chance as I wanted a more waterproof footbed.

I own many pair with the microfiber footbed and just needed for everyday wet grass, slobbery dogs and kitchen sink drips. LOVE THESE!! I now own 4 pair and hope to order more colors at the start of the season next year.

Using my microfiber footbeds for dressier wear. As a side note, I have back, knee and hip pain plus neuropathy in my feet and Vionic is a lifesaver for me!.

I have so many pairs of Vionics and these are among my favorites. I got both the blush & the sea foam. I love the colors, the style & the snake print. As with all my others, the fit is perfect for my foot.

I tightened the side straps & my foot doesn’t slip around at all. The strap & the hook-&-loop are just the right length so the end lays flat. (I’ve had other adjustable sandals where the end sticks out after being tightened & looks terrible.

Needless to say, I returned those. ) These are very cute! I really feel bad for those who found these sandals don’t fit well.

I love Vionic; they are 90% of my shoe wardrobe. This pair is beautiful and has straps to adjust for a good width fit. My pair, adjusted to the max still leave shoe too wide; you have to grasp the shoe w/toes to not slip out when I walk.

this is definitely not norm for the Vionic’s I have purchased for years. Have to return, I’m a big walker and active and as much as I like them, they are too dangerous to walk in and cause foot pain from trying to keep them on.

The length is perfect – just with width.

I’ll never wear regular flip flops again. I do not have a natural arch, and I did not realize how much strain wearing flat flip flops was putting on my knees and ankles. These shoes are super comfy and soft, and as an added bonus are adjustable which is wonderful for my narrow feet (you can widen them too.

) Bought the soft pink snake skin and could not be happier! They are a slightly long, but I don’t mind the extra length since it’s an open sandal.

I’ve recently developed plantar fasciitis and trying to find a fashionable, yet comfortable sandal for this condition. Tried Spenco but they were too wide. I did keep one pair to wear around our house with our tile floors.

This Vionic sandal is very cute and has been advertised on the Q as an Orthotic shoe, so I was very hopeful and ordered two colors. This sandal is so wishy washy on my foot with no support whatsoever.

Plus, I absolutely cannot put up with the slap, slap, slap when I walk. This is reminiscent of cheap flip flops, and I expected so much more from a shoe with this price tag. I feel I could walk out of this shoe with no effort at all.

This is supposed to be an orthotic shoe??? No more shoes from the Q.

I love these, they are so pretty and comfortable, only thing I’m not happy about is that they are too wide. The size is correct and fit ok only a little too wide, I find myself curling my toes to keep them on.

I’m afraid they will slip off. I ordered my regular size of the 8 1/2 there was no N-R-W to choose. Normally I have a wide foot and seem to have the opposite problem, them being too narrow. I will keep them and wear them of course.

I have worn pointed toe high, high heels (Hence foot problem) lol I can Handle these. I will recommend these because they are so pretty but aware they are a little wide.

I bought these sandals a few weeks ago and I have worn them everywhere. The arch support and heel molding make these sandals great for walking or standing for long periods. I normally don’t like sandals that go between my toes, but my foot fits so well into the sole that my toes don’t rub.

The quality of these sandals are definitely worth the money!.

Beware. The photos are from the older design which had an amazing rubber soul and fantastic durable support. This new version comes from the same mold but the foam tears up on the sole and the support isn’t nearly as good.

I wouldn’t attempt a long day on the feet in these. This is unfortunate.

I also have Plantar Fasciitis and an added problem of a bad back, plus wide feet. Buying shoes is a nightmare. I saw these on QVC and I bought the black pair. Even from the first time a wore them pure comfort heaven.

I rarely love shoes so much so I sent for the Rose Gold again brilliant. The video shows 2 ways of wearing the sandals with or without bar. My black pair look even more like holiday evening shoes with the Rose Gold bar on them.

These will be lovely on nights out on the cobbled streets of Lindos in Greece. I now have sent for the black metallic as I know I will regret it later when they are all gone. Thank you QVC AND VIONICS.

I have worn Vionic Tide thong sandals for a long time & have many pairs. Recently, I began experiencing irritation with the toe strap. I have lots of foot probs & decided to try the Amber sandal. What a wonderful, comforting, stabilizing solution.

The numerous adjustability points truly make it customizable even to accommodate the differences between my right & left foot. Pricey? Yes, but worth every penny to be able to walk in comfort. Thanks Vionic!.

I have two pairs of these sandals. I wore the first pair often until the (what is likely imitation) Velcro on the right ankle strap frayed and separated from the strap (the fuzzy side was not strong enough for the grip side), making the sandals unwearable.

It\’s very frustrating when an otherwise well constructed sandal fails due to cheap materials and inadequate stitching. I bought a second pair to wear only for nicer occasions. After minimal wear, the same thing happened to the second pair! So disappointing.

I have a closet full of Vionic flip-flops, shoes, sandals, and I\’m not hard on my shoes. I have noticed other quality control issues as well. So unfortunate that an otherwise good product is being diminished by cheap components.

First let me say that the walking/running shoes I have purchased have always been my favorite for comfort/fit etc. love them! Have 3 pair. BUT these sandals are so disappointing. have wanted to check with you to see if something could be wrong with the way this particular pair I got is made.

left foot feels funny in the sandal and causes my foot to turn out when I walk. After a little while. 15 min to 1/2 hr I must take them off because my leg and knee will be hurting. I have lots of sandals/flip flops expensive and otherwise and this has never happened to me.

when I look at the two shoes side by side they look the same to me. ? But left one is just not right somehow. I wore them not knowing about the problem because around the carpet a few times felt fine.

nothing much to fit on a sandal. boo hoo! The arch and every bit of construction on right shoe is perfect and it fits perfect and feels perfect!.

These are a Godsend for wearing on my hard tile & wood floors. These have been helping my feet heal. At the beginning of this summer I could barely walk due to plantar fasciitis & stress fractures. Now, since I’ve been slipping this style on the minute I get out of bed, my feet have gotten much better.

I am no longer in pain 24/7 & the swelling has gone down considerably. I’ve been able to start walking again. These sandals are very cute when worn. Not boring at all. I wish they came in more colors.

I recently had a hip replacement and needed shoes I could get into, that had a heel support. The stretchiness of the fabric enables me to use an extended shoehorn to move the strap over my heel, and the stretchiness allowed me to wear this style while I had puffy feet post-op.

I look forward to getting into my Therafit sneakers sooner or later, and this is a great shoe for therapy and for walking around house or neighborhood. Easy for someone else to slip on my foot, too.

Footbed is great! It offers good support. The fabric is not strong enough to hold feet in place so your feet are sliding forward with every step. Would be better with neoprene or another material that has stretch but better structure.

I love this design though so please keep it and change the upper material.

I was planning a vacation and I was looking for comfortable orthopedic sandal I can wear all day with out pain because I have problem with my arch and bunion in both feet. I came across this sandal. It is everything I was looking for.

The stretch fabric, the arch and the padding is excellent. I bought another one different color few days after Highly recommended.

The picture doesn’t do these sandals justice. They caught my eye right away in the store. Some of the straps are kind of glittery, giving them a dressy look. Both front and back straps are adjustable, and they have great arch support and plenty of padding.

Needed no breaking in. I wore them all day and night, and my feet were very happy! It’s nice to find comfort sandals that are this pretty.

This is my second pair of Aetrex. I wore the first pair for three summers. They went on tours in NYC, a Chicago and Washington DC. Lots of walking! They still look good but I knew after all the miles I put on them the support was surely wearing out so I got another pair.

I won’t get much wear out if this summer but I’ll be ready for next year! Worth every penny.

I purchased the PREVIOUS MODEL of the FUSION SLIDES WOMEN’S from the website. AWESOME in EVERY POSSIBLE RESPECT. I had NEVER experienced HEAVENLY SANDALS BEFORE THESE!!! UNFORTUNATELY, someone stole them! I purchased the NEW model SAME STYLE.

FUSION SLIDE, BLACK. I can tell you EMPHATICALLY, the STIFFNESS of the material, due to NOW, being SHELLACKED, created soreness on the top of the foot, where the rubber hit the toes. TOTALLY UNLIKE THE MATT, PLAIN SILASTIC sandals had been!!! When I sent them back, I provided feedback, but NO ONE responded or LISTENED.

I PRAY THE OWNERS LISTEN TO THOSE OF US WHO HAVE INDICATED OUR GREAT SADNESS. THESE FOOTBEDS ARE FAR AND BEYOND THE BEST SANDALS, I HAVE EVER WORN. BEYOND ANY OTHERS OUT THERE!!! I just got these through snail mail instead of UPS and I LOVEEEEEEEEE them!! Back in my younger days I used to wear a name brand slide all summer long and loved them. I just got out of wearing them as I didn’t camp, swim and do all the outdoor activities that I used to do anymore, unfortunately.

I love Revitalign shoes which came before Spenco or might be the other way around, but they are both made by the same company. These slides are GREAT!! They are a half size long but reading reviews someone said used as slippers, and with socks.

So that’s what I’m going to do with these and order 1 size down for wearing outdoors. I wear a size 10. 5 to 11 med. and have a medium to on the wider side feet. But I rarely buy a wide unless reviews say that they run narrow.

I hope you will give them a try especially if you’ve worn rubber slides for the summer!.

In May when I started wearing these sandals, I would have given them a 4 (only because due to material your soles may sweat, mine do) BUT a month in and guys…. can shoes shrink??? Ummm. Yes. The answer is yes.

I bought two pair. White and the Fuchsia. I wore the white more and I don’t know if it’s that or that they get wet in the dewy grass, the hose, or what…. for real…. who knows?? BUT, they are visibly smaller and they fit completely different than when I first got them.

Too small now. Rubbing. It’s WACKY! It’s hilarious to put in one white and one fuchsia and see the difference. Even looking at them side by side. Even just looking at them alone! I can SEE they are smaller! lol So weird.

And a total bummer because they are/were comfortable with my plantar fasciitis. They are cushiony. Have the deep heel cup. Arch support. Not sure how to keep my fuchsia pair from shrinking. Maybe just look at them in the closet and don’t put them on.

??? Calling customer service is my next move. Then Spenco I guess. Not paying almost $40 for flip flops and only wearing them a little over a month.

I loved the first pair so much I went back right away and bought the same sandal in a second color. I recently started to retain water, which was temporary, and needed sandals that I could easily adjust.

Plus, my feet can swell with the summer humidity. These shoes adjust so easily, look great on my feet, and are very comfy! My feet also feel supported while I walk. If you are looking for quality sandals that offer support, are easy to adjust and slip on, I highly recommend!.

I had a life and death surgery little more than 17 years ago which left the circulation in my legs and feet horrid. I must wear compression stockings for the rest of my life. Because of this, it was very difficult finding footwear that is 1- stylish and 2- supports my feet.

Most often I would find a shoe that is either or but never both. Finally, I found a shoe that is both stylish and comfortable. I like that the insoles are detachable. It has Velcro attached to the soles to prevent the soles from moving.

The only negative about this sandal for me was that I got a blister on my big toe from the shoe when I first wore them. I am contributing this to having the straps too loose and my foot rubbing up and down while I was walking.

However overall, great shoe.

I was so hopeful when I saw the Cruise sandal made by the Drew Company. It was available in 10WW. that was a gift in size and difficult to find. I have been wearing Drew “Milan” for years. They stopped making them, although I surely wish they would bring it back.

The style of Cruise looks just like Milan. it is not. Somehow the fit is not the same. The composition is different. I prefer a smooth leather top, rather than the pebbled leather in Cruise sandals. The sole is the greatest difference: Milan has a leather sole.

Cruise has a man-made sole which is uncomfortable and I worry is slippery. At 78 years old, I do not need to fall down. I would pay more to get a leather sole. It seems logical that cost is the only reason for the change in composition of sole.

You have sacrificed comfort and safety for saving money. Sadly.

I loved these sandals. They fit perfectly, look cute on, are comfortable and I love the color. I have 2 pairs in different colors and I want them in all the colors!

People wrote good review for it but it sadly didn’t fit my feet. I guess my feet are too wide (it is too tight) and the solo looks like it has good support but it ended up giving me foot pain after each wear (of 3 times).

Problem is it looks nice and comfy an when tired on it felt okay till I walked around in it for a few hours. But even putting it on was feeling tight, so end of day I had strain feet bottoms and lack of blood flow (red).

Good if you have narrow and good arched feet and Idk well lined toes. Sadly I throw the box out : (.

I’m really lazy about leaving product reviews, but I HAVE to gush about these shoes! Without breaking them in first (a cardinal sin), I wore them daily on a week-long hiking trip, and they were amazing – gripped the rocks, quick dry, no rubbing, and incredibly comfortable.

Did not notice any odor. Plus, on trails with sand or fine rocks, very little worked their way into the sandal. I can wear these when on my feet all day with no pain. Bought the Brindle/Shitake color in size 10; I wear anything from 9.

5 to 11. My foot is rather narrow, but these fit with no issues. The color goes great with anything, and I love the covered toe. These are my go-to active sandals.
