10 Best Sand Proof Beach Blanket (2023 Updated)

The order arrived within several days, was prompt and ontime, as I was getting ready to go to my Rhodes, the Greek island vacation. I used it right away upon my arrival in Rhodes as a throw over the beach chairs, as well as a bottom on a ground.

We called it parachute and loved it. Used every day, it was very handy. Loved the light material and the pockets. As one minor detail – given some beaches in Rhodes are very windy, it would have been nice to have more pockets, like additional pockets on the sides, which is something I would add if I could.

We just put sand or stones on the sides, but pockets could have been nice. Overall, definitely recommend to others.

The concept of this is great. However, in practicality, it is not the best option for the beach. It is so lightweight any breeze makes it impossible to lay it on the ground. Because it is so thin, the heat of the sand makes the blanket hot and one must put a towel over it in order to lie down.

I have used a flat bed sheet in the past as a beach blanket and have had as much luck with that and it did not absorb the heat. The good things are the size, the weight and the fact it is easy to put back into the attached bag.

This was given to my husband as a Father’s Day gift from our daughter. We will continue to use it but not as happy with it as we had hoped to be.

We love our new beach blanket! It doesn’t get hot on the sand and the thin nylon fabric makes it a breeze to shake off and pack in the included pouch. The corner pockets that help keep it in place are a great idea!.

I have already got a lot of use out of this, first off it comes with a cloth case to keep it in, which make it super easy and portable for my family. We have used this at the beach, great size for family of four.

We have also used this when we go places like movie theaters to wrap in when its cold and I have taken it to see the doctor when we were sick for a “blanket” to have for my kids. Its perfect for the beach or picnic, but to my surprise I have found many other uses for it! Good material, not as thick as towel for easy washing, but not as thin as a sheet for stability.

I use it on my outdoor family days, it is lightweight, easy to carry everywhere. Good quality material that doesn’t rip off easily, love this blanket, definitely recommend!! good price with the best quality!! I haven’t washed it just yet as it hasn’t became dirty.

So I can’t justify the washing abilities. All in all, I like it. the ability to just fold it up and put it back in the to go bag is just a bonus.

Worst material and quality is just so poor! So thin and easy to damage!! Expensive for the full price of $29!! Not recommended

This towel is printed with the design shown but not as vibrant as shown. The thickness is on the the thin size.

I absolutely love this blanket!! I originally bought one for my daughter in law then saw its beauty and ordered one for myself. It washed perfectly. I washed it on delicate and dried it on low until almost dry.

It came out soft and gorgeous!!.

I purchased the Solana blanket in blue for my king single bed. Love the luxurious weight of this cover. Its tightly woven yet breathable and fits the bed well. Would highly recommend this product.

This is a great blanket! I love how easily it folds back up into such a small size, and I like the durable backing on the bottom of the blanket. My kids love to spread it out in our front yard and eat their lunch or play with their friends.

I gave one of these blankets to each of my daughters for Christmas. They both love to go to outdoor concerts, picnicing, and stargazing with their husbands. They were both very excited about the blanket and loved the quality of both the upper fabric and the vinyl underside.

This blanket is great! it provides enough cushion that you don’t feel like you are sitting directly on the hard ground. The fabric side is soft and comfy and the water proof side works well. It is big enough for my husband, myself and our daughter with room to spare.

This looked like a nice picnic blanket, really pretty pattern. Waterproof on one side, plush and soft on the other, what could be better? Well, we took this to the beach. It was placed on rocks, sand, bits of wet seaweed, you name it! And because my daughter fell in the ocean and got more cold and wet than expected, it was also the emergency wet kid “get you in a blanket” station.

The magic thing: it shook out clean. Like, even the soft plush side was clean. The waterproof side was clean. It looked brand new! I’d buy this 10,000x over.

I threw it down on morning dew grass for my puppy and I and it worked wonderfully! I will definitely be ordering a couple more in other colors! A must have for the cabin, summer, fall, picnics, games, or any other outdoor activity!.

I love the convenience of this blanket and it’s so cute! On the other hand it isn’t as waterproof as I expected. I spread it in the grass in the evening for an outdoor concert. As the dew got thicker there was some moisture coming through.

It did perform better than just a regular blanket though. I love that it weighs next to nothing and rolls up with the handles for carrying convenience.

I love this blanket! It checks all the boxes of a blanket I’ve been looking for and just couldn’t quite find. It folds super easily, great quality, the material is soft and the blanket itself has a hefty enough weight where it won’t blow away easily on windy days on the beach which is the part that annoys me the most.

Could not find an equal to this blanket anywhere else. We will see how it holds up through use! Totally worth it. Very happy with this purchase.

This blanket is versatile and perfect for a ton of situations: the beach, the park, the outdoor concert, etc. It’s heavy duty, which is the only downside: it’s heavy. But because of the way it can be carried over the shoulder, it’s not a big deal.

We take ours everywhere and it’s often just in the car or the bike carrier by default in case we need it.

Loved the idea of this beach blanket as we were relocating from MA to FL and wanted something better than a towel to lay on but it doesn’t hold up in the wind. And on the day we used it it wasn’t even that windy and it folded up on my husband and whipped sand in his face.

It’s also not very padded. It is waterproof however so maybe will use more for on the grass rather than the beach.

Title says it all– The Yellow Submarine was a favorite movie growing up and now my keiki love it. They were just as excited for the print as I was 😁 I like the corner zipper and I love that it’s water proof.

I like that the back is black so I don’t have to worry about getting it dirty or staining it. I do want to note that it is EXTREMELY thin. I’ll only use it on soft grass or sand, not anywhere rough or bumpy.

There’s no cushion or softness to the blanket which was disappointing. I was expecting a thicker, softer material. Love the print though!.

I love the blanket. Although at first I thought the blanket folded up into the pouch. Sadly, it does not. However, it’s still a great blanket to keep in your car for picnics and just about anything else.

Love this blanket from Slowtide! It’s compact and can be easily stowed in a backpack or larger purse. I keep it in my car for spontaneous picnics, backyard bbqs, and everything else in between. I love the secret pocket in the corner and the lining on the bottom that keeps the blanket dry and protected.

This blanket is perfect. It folds up super small, we toss it in the stroller or in a bag and off we go. It is really big, fits our family of four. It’s soft and comfy, the pattern is really cool.
