my macbook pro finally died after years of use. i wanted to try something different with. something i could work and play games with occasciolly without being flashy with all the rgb lights as didn’t want to look unprofessional.

the performance is beond my expectations i can play forza 5 in high setting with no problems have a refresh rate around 100-80 as i connect my laptop to a monitor it works great. day to day task youtube work there’s little to no wait time the computer always boots up quick my favorite feature is when i open the laptop lid it starts up automatically.

the finger printer reader works amazing with no issues. over all recommend this laptop. love the all aluminum frame not cheap plastic as many windows’ computer come in. just wish the screen had a higher fresh rate.

i’m upgrading from a ultrabook i bought around 2014 from samsung. this time i needed the ability to also do creative work on the go – so having the extra graphic ability, and max ram on this model helps.

early reviews of the base model seemed to indicate the fan would kick in quickly and often – not so much on my build. i managed to get mine with a holiday discount, there were others that came in slightly cheaper from other manufacturers, for the price it may be worth considering.

note: this laptop does not have thunderport capabilities. there are 2 usb cs but i haven’t been able to confirm if they support displayport or power delivery if you plan on using the laptop with a dock.

i have had mine since black friday 2021 and think it is a great work laptop for basic things. my issues with it include the low refresh rate screen that means 60fps max for gaming and video. the lack of thunderbolt ports really bother me, it has 2 ubc cs, 2 ubc 2.

1s, ethernet port, hdmi and an aux port. the issue doesn’t really bother me but some might not like. the 8gb model’s fans are very loud and kick in quite often. i have since upgraded the ram to 16gb and it helps(you can also tweak the fan settings to run on quiet mode but increased temp).

i would not recommend this laptop for someone who wants to game on aaa titles but this laptop does as advertised.

My last laptop finally died 6 hours before the due date for my first PhD final exam. Post Black Friday sales, every store was sold out, but BB came through with an amazing open box deal on this laptop.

So I was able to buy what I wanted instead of a laptop with the barebones necessities. Merry Christmas to me! Unboxing was effortless and without charging the laptop, it had a few hours of life right out of the box.

The battery life on this 360 is amazing! I use this all day and have no problem if I forget my charger at home. It is fast with multiple programs running and the sleep feature saves a lot of battery life for when I get busy with clients and am no longer actively typing or working.

Bonus is my cellphone cable will charge this laptop if I get in a bind, go Team Samsung! I’m not an Apple fan, but have an iPad and Apple Pencil for work. The s-pen is so much smoother than the Apple Pencil is with my iPad, I only wish GoodNotes was available on Samsung.

The reason I gave this computer 4 stars and not 5 is because this laptop is soo thin and light, you almost forget you’re holding a computer. I’m a therapist that works with kids, so I got a screen protector immediately, but had to trim it because this screen has no edge and the 2-in-1 tablet feature a 15.

6″ screen protector was too big. I also keep it in a reinforced sleeve because this laptop wasn’t cheap, I wish Samsung would come out with a hard case for the 360 Pro, it would help with the mouse pads issues I experience.

Speaking of the mouse pad, getting to know the quirks of this mouse pad was tricky. I was getting phantom clicks and highlights, with it sitting on uneven services or holding it my lap. Even on a flat tabletop, if you have the laptop towards the edge, if the entire underside of the mousepad is not supported (less than an inch off the edge), you will experience the above issues.

I found out this happens because the laptop itself is soo thin, that it registers pressure from underneath. So I always keep it on one of those hard lap desks, to give it support and help me protect it from grabbing it at possible weak points.

It’s a little frustrating when I have to carry it something else while using it, because the keyboard is a little too flexible for my liking. I got this with Windows 11, which got rid of tablet mode, but there is a function key to disable the mouse pad, I just wish is that Samsung made the function key to lock the entire keyboard when it’s folded like a tablet.

Because I did not research this extensively before buying it, my last complaint is that there are no longer any USB ports or HDMI ports, only type C’s. So I had to buy a few adapters, but it’s hasn’t been too big of an adjustment.

Otherwise I still love this laptop, and if you can deal with its quirks, I highly recommend this if you use other devices in the Samsung ecosystem.

I honestly regret buying this laptop. It’s extremely overpriced and the description and store employee oversold it. The visuals are nice, so watching movies and stuff is pretty good on it. But it was priced higher than Macbooks and the Surface Pro but doesn’t deliver as much.

I’ve used it for 10 months now, so I have a good idea about it. For one, it’s not as powerful computationally as it should be. It’s quite slow for coding project in my opinion compared to my old Dell Inspiron.

Also, it’s marketed as having a 19 hour battery life but only lasts max like maybe 5-6 hours on regular use (just web browsing, standby). If I do 2 Zoom meetings for like 1-1. 5 hours total time, I have to charge the laptop even if it started at 100% battery level.

It comes with the S Pen, which I really liked but is clearly underdeveloped compared to the Apple Pen, so taking notes and working on the laptop with it isn’t that convenient. Especially because you can’t add a page in between existing pages and have to manually cut and paste everything to shift it down.

It also just doesn’t have as many notetaking features as Apple products and the Surface Pros. The weirdest thing about this laptop is that it seems to run on its own when I turn it off or put it on sleep sometimes.

For example, twice I fully charged it and unplugged it before going to bed and the next morning it was hot and completely out of battery, not low on battery but completely drained with the empty battery and red juice image on the screen.

Also, it resets by itself sometimes; it randomly enabled security stuff like camera blocking and microphone blocking 2-3 times without any notice. So the first time I couldn’t participate in a Zoom meeting and took 20 minutes of Googling to figure out what had happened.

It also randomly opens up apps like Spotify upon starting the laptop even though I toggled that feature off for Spotify. The most annoying thing about this laptop is that it literally attracts dust. It’s like a magnet, and if I clean it with a wipe, there’s watermarks that I can’t get rid of.

So it just looks perpetually dirty. And I don’t think there’s a way to open the back of the laptop yourself to clean stuff and what not, which is also a pain because little particles get stuck and block up the air vent holes but there’s no way for me to remove them by myself.

The screen is also really annoying in that nothing will stick to it (except dust), so I can’t stick sticky notes or tape on the screen or over the camera. The camera is also in the same level as the screen (like underneath it), so putting on a camera cover would mean that your laptop won’t close completely, but then again, the camera cover won’t be able to stick on the screen in the first place.

I also find the Samsung Settings a pain because they could’ve figured out a way to combine it with the built in windows settings or something more streamlined. When I check for updates, I have to check for Windows updates AND Samsung updates, the latter of which is sketchy and often makes me restart multiple times without actually updating the drivers.

I thought it’d be nice to buy a laptop with usb-c charging ports because I hear that’s the future of computer, but maybe hold off on that trend for another year or two because it was extremely inconvenient until I bought all sorts of usb-c to usb-a adapters and stuff.

Overall, not worth the $1,400 or $1,600 (I don’t remember exactly how much it cost). And the Geek Squad plan doesn’t cover the S Pen even though it came with the laptop–kind of stupid, And yeah you’d be better off with a Surface Pro (sold out when I was in need of a new laptop), Macbook, or Dell XPS (also sold out at the time) for the same price or likely cheaper because they’re more reliable and the companies are more experienced in laptop manufacturing.

And you get more clout I guess. Also have good reputation for high-power tasks, like running code and complex computations. I hope Samsung leaves the laptop industry because they’re just not good at it.

The only good thing from this purchase is that Samsung customer care through online chats and text messaging is relatively convenient but the fact that I have to use them somewhat often is not a good sign given that I didn’t have to do this with my old Dell.

Lastly, idk if it’s worth buying the Geek Squad protection plan because you have to physically bring your device to a Best Buy to get it fixed and stuff, which isn’t feasible for college students (me) most of the year.

That’s another reason why I think it’s just better to buy directly from the manufacturer and get warranties through them. Samsung did replace my S Pen for free because it stopped working (still in warranty), but the new one is not connecting.

Bought this to bring with me to college as I will be a freshman in a few weeks and wanted something for both class and gaming. The specs were amazing for the price point and I was amazed by the weight considering my last laptop was at least 5.

5 pounds. Unfortunately, these features came with heavy costs. You could tell by holding the computer that it was cheaply made and felt like it would fall apart any second. It did. Within 2 weeks the hinge broke and was pushing on the front and backing of the screen.

It seemed like something that could be popped back into place, but it couldn’t. Now the even bigger issue was trying to find a way to get this thing fixed. Absolutely nowhere in the US that I could find will work on Samsung products! So a cheaply made, easy to break computer is unable to be fixed anywhere in the US.

Great. I sent it back as it just was not worth the effort. In addition I have some other complaints: with how thin the computer is, the thing would heat up very quickly when downloading anything or playing a game.

The touchpad as well would click if pressed from underneath which was extremely annoying when trying to use the computer on my lap. Additionally, as is expected when packing such high performance software (16G RAM 512 SSD etc.

) into such a small computer, the fans were LOUD. I have replaced the Galaxy Book now with an HP laptop and while you can hear the fans while downloading and such, they are no where near the sound of the Samsung.

For the price point, it is a very fast computer with great specs and a long battery life, but do not expect it to last you more than a year unless you plan to leave it at your desk at all times. When I went to Best Buy to get my HP the sales rep I talked to confirmed for me that the original Galaxy Book Pro was so cheaply made as Samsung was trying to get out a lightweight high power computer as quick as they could.

Please don’t buy this version, I was told that the newer model is so much better, but the price is much higher.

I’ve been using this for a little while now, and overall, I would definitely recommend this laptop. First and foremost, I love the unique burgundy color of this particular laptop, as well as the lightweight slim design, which makes this laptop easier to carry along.

What’s great about this laptop, is the fact that it not only serves as a laptop, but it also doubles as a tablet, with an easy flip of the screen backwards! This laptop 2-in-1 comes with an S pen as well, which I found to work great, and found it to be very responsive and fairly quick when using on the screen.

The top outer shell of the laptop has a magnetic area that helps keep your S pen in place, so you don’t lose it, which I thought was also a great, much needed aspect of this laptop also. I found the display of this laptop to be quite beautiful and vibrant as well, and videos and movies look quite well on it.

The keyboard works great, you don’t get a super loud tapping when pressing buttons and it features backlight, which is adjustable, and I found that to be super helpful, especially when using at night.

I also found this laptop to be quite fast, and this particular one has 1Tb of storage, which is definitely an adequate amount of space for your needs. I also found the battery life to be quite well with this product, and the charging doesn’t take all day either.

So, overall, this laptop is lightweight, portable, fast, and performs quite well. This is one that I would definitely recommend.

this galaxy book pro works great. it’s fast and super light. the only reason why i only give 3 stars is the following: if you go to the specs information, under “display”, you will see a “yes” next to “touchscreen”.

this is actually one of the reasons i bought this one, i wanted a touchscreen laptop without it being a “360” one. but now after a few days of having it, i realized it is not touchscreen. you guys should check the website and change that information as it is inaccurate.

also, i contacted a representative through the app to ask for this and make sure i didn’t have the touchscreen option disabled; it’s been more than an hour, and instead of assuming that this is a mistake, he/she would just make me wait forever.

When I’ve got it first time I liked it’s design. But after first use I realized that battery was defective: at first laptop stopped to charge, then it showed status as if it was plugged in and charging but actually the cable was not connected.

When I tried to connect ac cable it showed that computer is not plugged in. I removed battery and now it works ok without it. Unfortunately I moved to another country and can’t return this item. Very sad to get such defective product.

i had been saving up for months in order to splurge for a new high end laptop and did a lot of research during that time before deciding to get this laptop and i can honestly say it was the best purchase i could have made.

the laptop works great and has lasted me over 3 years now. i just recently started using this laptop for gaming and it is working unsurprisingly well. there’s no lag, although graphics are not great for gaming, but they are still really nice.

i do wish it were a little lighter just because i have to carry it to and from class, but it makes sense considering all of the features. overall, i’m incredibly happy that i made this investment and am looking forward to many more years with this laptop.

I replaced an old i7 12 gb ram no gpu 900p non-LED windows 7 samsung laptop, mechanical 1tb drive. My old computer was not bad, much better than the average John’s. But this new one is incredible, I use: Adobe Premiere, photoshop, lightroom and ableton live.

This laptop can run all those programs at the same time. and the programs open instantly, unlike waiting at least 60+ seconds for those heavy programs to open like before. i can edit long 4k video, cut and spliced with other 4k video and 120 fps 1080 footage.

adobe premiere can run 4k editing files at FULL RES. not that i do, but it can. my old computer would stutter and lag trying to playback at 1/8th quality. if you want the keyboard lights to stay on 24/7 put a small piece of tape over the light sensor up by the camera.

the magnetic lid is amazing. also this thing is very thin for the amount of power it has. I make apple fangirls weep. if you bought all these components separately it’d be about the same price, so samsungs not making much off these.

Its not clear in the title or description, but it is in fact 4 cores 8 threads. I have never bought an amd APU or used one until now, but am very familiar with Intel 630 UHD from the i7 8700 and this laptops APU makes Intel now obsolete.

This is a blazing fast processor that will be versatile for every need barring hardcore gaming, I wouldn’t recommend this laptop to someone who needs to play games at 60 fps at 1080p always but it does pack power.

It will easily accomplish any kind of moderate gaming if you play any non demanding games, and overall feels like the ultimate multimedia powered laptop without a a discrete gpu. ITS FINALLY HERE! AMD has had a long term goal since around 2010 of “giving away the gpu for free” with the cpu and I firmly believe this is the first laptop apu to have ever actually accomplished this on a large scale.

I am starting to see this pop up in every branded laptop and was was so excited when I saw Samsung had added it to their lineup! The Fingerprint unlock and it seamlessly going into a tablet is nice. As well as the glossy 15.

6″ screen. AMD is back in more ways than 1! I do wish Samsung would elaborate on this “active Pen” though. Total failure in communications regarding this.

Don’t believe the negative reviews! This is a great laptop. The best thing about this laptop is the screen then the weight. The Qled screen is absolutely the best LCD screen on the market with superior brightness, saturation and color accuracy.

The 13. 3″ size screen in full HD is just beautiful and I believe they have applied an anti-reflective coating on the glass screen. So even though the screen is glossy there is very little refraction.

The Ion is the only model with this AR coating. It is very similar to the 13″ macbook pro screen but not as high resolution. In other words unless you have an OLED panel you will not find a better looking screen on any other laptop!! The performance of this device is actually very good but I really think they could have used AMD Ryzen processors with much better results.

The i7 this laptop uses is fast but it is not on the newer 10nm architecture which I would have preferred. I would have also preferred 12gb ram as a base for all models. All of that being said this thing is very fast for what it is.

My complaints are more about future proofing. For what I use this laptop for it is very fast. Now to the build quality and other features. The build and design of this laptop is one of my favorites of 2020.

It has excellent industrial design and minimal bezels. Fit and finish are very good but not perfect. The silver finish is very good at resisting fingerprints. The keyboard is excellent. The glass trackpad is also excellent and can charge your phone! Battery life is also very good.

The claims by Samsung are inflated as are all battery life claims on a laptop but what I can say is for an ultra portable the 69 watt hour battery is very large and will get your through a solid day.

That is with screen brightness on high, cpu performance set to high. The speakers on this laptop are great and get very loud and have a good amount of bass. You have to get updates for the drivers in samsung update and then adjust the settings in realtek audio console but once you do the sound is amazing.

I look at how small this thing is and the sound coming out of it and I am impressed. To wrap it all up this is one of my favorite laptops to use. It is not a speed demon but it can handle it’s own, it is super light and portable with great battery life.

It does everything I need it to do and has a decent selection of ports including a thunderbolt 3 port. The fit and finish and design are all great. I really like the magnesium build. It does have some flex here and there because it is not using a thick piece of aluminum but a thinner stronger piece of Magnesium.

I would just say that you should look for sales. The full retail price is too high IMO but the sale price is a good value considering the features you can only get in this laptop and the competition in the same price range.

Samsung has really done an excellent job with it’s offerings this year. I am very excited to see what is to come. Just add more ram next time!!.

Pros: Extremely light and seems very fast. A few issues with the operating system but that is probably Microsoft’s fault with the new Windows 11. Compared to an Apple Mac or Microsoft’s surface laptop it is cheaper for the same spec.

Cons: It feels a little delicate. The base is plastic and so thin that it flexes when picked up, especially if using one hand with the lid open. This flexing can make the touchpad buttons click. I also do not like the fan intakes being on the bottom.

It prevents you using it on your lap as this blocks them. You need to use it on a laptop tray.

i enjoy the chromebook i have had for 4-5 years, and find that this is upgraded, elegant, and has the full capabilities a laptop should have. when cbs aren’t enough for your needs, + you want to upgrade, this is a good choice.

i think it’s a decent laptop. not mesmerizing, but it does what i need it to. for the price, samsung should have sent this with better packaging. the keyboard is very smooth/easy to use. windows fingerprint is ultra fast.

the trackpad comes with gestures + is comfortable to use. power on/off only takes a minute or less. opening programs is a breeze. the display is beautiful + crisp! this is yet another samsung device that will show you what 1080p actually is + isn’t.

the sound is fine. it’s not the loudest on some videos, but music, movies, skype, etc sound good.

i am lucky enough to have access to free laptops at work. however, they are cheap and break quickly, and of poor quality. thus, i decided to buy myself an expensive good laptop. i bought this laptop and was initially excited.

it is lightweight and the graphics are wonderful! the fingerprint id pad broke within weeks. my screen broke and stopped functioning while away on a work trip. please note, i did not drop it or damage it, it just stopped functioning.

i sent it in for repair. now, only a month later and the screen does not function again. i almost wish they would just refund my money, take this terrible laptop back, and i can purchase something else.

if you want a great looking, extremely light weight and portable laptop with one of the best screens on the market then this is a great choice. there are other laptops with better “specs” and some midrange devices that directly compete but they do not offer the same user experience.

this is a samsung device through and through complete with samsung settings and a recovery program. i really like most of the programs and extra settings samsung adds. the screen, keyboard, glass track pad, loud speakers, performance, battery life, fingerprint reader, and very light weight make this laptop a pleasure to use.

i wish it had more ram and a tiger lake or amd 4000 processor. that being said using the comet lake chip allows samsung to offer better value and the ram offers better battery life.

I read reviews about the laptop before buying it and most of the negatives are there, but not so much relevant as people write about it (at least not for me). I use the machine in a home setting mostly, both as a laptop and sometimes as a touchscreen when doing stuff in the kitchen and want to watch something.

Pros Super thin and light. Fast. After setting the fan to silent (still fast) there is just minimal fan noise, as opposed to some other superlight laptops with different operating systems. Beautiful display, excellent touchscreen, even the pencil works well (but not essential) Great fingerprint reader.

Nice that Samsung offers student discounts in the US Good quality backlit keyboard Cons Yes, there are fingerprints in the back, but it is not so bad and I personally don’t care so much about. Yes, the display wobbles a little, but not really annoying at all Sometimes when I type (as I blind type) I touch the touchpad and the cursor moves a bit, but I rarely press it so it also would click somewhere.

That touchpad should be positioned to the left half an inch though. The touchpad is unusable to hard press as a click, it is so stiff, you have to lift and click with your finger for every click. If you do it that way anyways, it is a great touchpad.

If you are used to some premium products where you don’t have to lift your finger from the touchpad, you will need time to get used to it. Windows 11 has a bug, that the taskbar cannot be positioned on the right-side, covering half an inch from the narrow screen.

Hopefully it will be corrected soon, but as the screen is 16:9 thus relatively narrow, it is better to have a disappearing taskbar.

I’ve had this laptop for 6 months and I love it now, but there are major drawbacks that had I known before I wouldn’t have gotten it. I really wanted a 2-in-1 for the flexibility of being able to write on the screen using the pen or switching to typing with the keyboard if I wanted.

I find it easier to handwrite my notes, but instead of on paper that could get lost, I wanted to keep an electronic notebook. but this is terrible for handwriting. The screen is so sensitive that unless you completely elevate your hand so that not even your palm touches the screen, it moves.

It zooms in, it zooms out, the page shifts, it does everything else but let you write. I have to hold the stylus in such an awkward position that I don’t even want to write. Yes, I can type, but have you tried typing Korean in a pdf.

it takes twice as long becuase I have to type block by block, and sometimes it won’t even register what I wrote and will just eliminate it. My next complaint is that the speaker is on the bottom of the laptop so if you are like me and like to relax in bed or on the couch watching Netflix on your laptop.

you are out of luck unless you are wearing headphones. The sound is so muted you could have the volume on the highest setting and it will still sound like a whisper. It also overheats quickly even when not plugged in because the cooling fans share the same outlet as the speaker – the bottom of the laptop! I get it, set the laptop on a perforated laptop stand and there won’t be cooling issues – wrong! It is on a perforated laptop stand at all times and it still overheats.

I was so excited to get this laptop, but I am so mad it took me so long to realize all these things that I don’t like about it.

Best for artists, a powerful laptop + pen display! The best tech purchase ever! Bought a 15. 6 inch 512GB model in September, and I am very impressed. The build is very lightweight yet feels sturdy. I have been looking for a laptop that can be used for office work and for drawing on Clip Studio Paint program.

This one is probably the only on the market that does both jobs flawlessly. and I mean flawlessly with no lagging at all. I would even argue that it’s better than Ipad drawing since it’s also a laptop and the system is very powerful for multi-tasking, while also very light and portable.

I can draw while using youtube, spotify, email, and speak on zoom without a single delay. You can purchase a MAX stand from Amazon to support drawing more comfortably in tablet mode. The pen pressure and drawing experience with the S pen on this computer is amazing.

No battery required for the pen, so you will never need charging like iPad and Lenovo. Many other digital pen works, too, including Norris digital jumbo. The lines using these pen show no wavering or anything.

Very very smooth and impressive experience and comparable to a pen display like Wacom or Gaomon. I bought a Lenovo Flex 5 14, 2-in-2, which is a cheaper competitor for the same functions, and it basically arrived defective and the pen did not calibrate correctly and required extremely small and multiple batteries that drain really quickly.

The Lenovo also could not handle anything more than one program open at a time. This Samsung model is definitely the way to go even if it’s pricier. The only downside I can see for some people is the not so high quality of the video camera, but this isn’t a problem for me.

It works well for my work from home meetings, and I rather people not see every pimple on my face during Zoom meetings! Another issue is the laptop speaker isn’t the highest quality and isn’t loud enough, but the quality and volume are both great if you use headphones.

Best selling points are thin & very lightweight body, good size, and great value for the specs (11th gen Core i7, 16GB memory). Purchased mine on sale at $699 and was thrilled. But two VERY disappointing things from the Samsung brand: 1.

Below average display with bad viewing angles 2. No backlit keyboard Backlit keyboard: This feature is standard on almost all laptops nowadays, including my old budget laptop from 2014. Really absurd that it’s not included here in my opinion.

Display: The biggest negative by far. Samsung is one of the best display makers in the world but the one they used on this laptop is awful. – Viewing angles are very, very, VERY poor – looking at the display from any angle other than immediately standing in front of it, you immediately lose clear visibility and the screen looks washed out.

– If you want to watch anything with a friend or two by your side, the image will look dim or unclear. – Colors / Brightness / Contrast also look terrible out-of-box. Makes it seem very dark. If you want to fix this, I strongly recommend using Windows 11’s ‘calibrate display’ feature and the Intel Graphics app in the start menu to adjust settings – Being positive, the non-glossy texture is fine and brightness is great (only when looking straight at it) Overall very good value & well-built lightweight body, but the bad display and backlit keyboard were almost terrible enough for me to return it.

Ultimately I fixed the bad color/brightness and my wife needed something lightweight & easy to carry.

I’ve had a pretty great experience with the device. Build quality excellent due to the metal construction (a bit heavy, but it is to be expected). Sound was good as the dolby atmos helps with audio quality despite laptop speakers being small and downward firing.

The processor is snappy and handled multitasking like a champ. The Iris Xe Max graphics it’s paired with is able to pull some decent weight in FPSs like Valorant/Apex and MOBAs. Port selection I/O was good, but I do wish that it was a full size SD card reader instead of a micro one and an ethernet port.

Screen was OK, not that great viewing angles and has a hazy image; but I can live with that as a compromise since the other aspects of the device is good to great. But it is matte and a touch screen, so it is still a big plus in my book.

This being a Samsung product, it has the myriad of features and apps that allow it to function smoothly side by side other Samsung products. The ecosystem has developed quite nicely as much of hiccups and lag when transitioning between devices is gone.

One the biggest selling point of this device is that the charger is similar to that of the USB-C tablets/phones (it comes with a 45W fast charger). It is a great addition IMHO as this allows you to bring 1 less charging brick with you, and it is not that large to boot.

While battery life is decent, at least it can fast charge. Now to the not so great to “bad” stuff of the device. Webcam is only decent, microphone the same way. Keyboard has no backlight and it’s somewhat cramp even my small hands; additionally the key travel is short but that is a preference thing.

The fans are constantly on even when idle, though at least the fans aren’t too loud and don’t have a high pitched noise. Track pad, is bad and feels cheap. Honestly, I would have given it a 3 stars. if I had payed the original price, but at the price I got it (which is around $200 less than retail price) it was an excellent laptop with compromises in the right areas.

Sadly, I had to return it as I encountered a few issues with it. The USB ports were tight (it was so tight that it bent my logitech mouse receiver, luckily it didn’t damage the laptop). And the keyboard was acting up; when I used any of the bottom left keys it always triggered the windows key as well.

It’s a decent computer with the i7 and 512gb hard drive. It’s also very very light weight and ultra thin with a touch screen but that’s about where it stops being a good laptop. The things that are lacking, once all combined, are making me regret the purchase.

So the graphics card, is the only this that I blame myself for since I didn’t look at the specs for it graphics, it’s a basic card and nothing crazy fancy. Then my next problem is the ports, oh boy. Two usb 3.

0s & 1 usb-c for data transfers. I have an external hard drive that never gets unplugged so I have. To choose between my keyboard and mouse to put in the port ends up with me needing to get a docking station.

And there’s no Ethernet port, at all. So I can’t even connect to the internet directly to use this laptop with the most efficient internet. There is a no backlit keyboard, which sucks cause I like to work on my computer with dim lights and I have to turn my light up sometimes if I can’t see the keys.

The battery is terrible, don’t even try to use it unplugged unless it’s necessary and my charger, within less then a week, has copper coming out and bare wire is all exposed at the connector. When it arrive the plug it was already slightly bent and didn’t seat properly.

The fan is very loud and it still doesnt help to keep the computer from overheating.

I bought this laptop with an excellent Black Friday discount and part exchange of my old laptop and absolutely love using the laptop. Keyboard is really nice to use. Features on Windows 11 work well and love the mystic blue colour.

Speakers that are mentioned by others I have found to be perfectly ok for zoom meetings. However, the charger was faulty so having to borrow one and dealing with the customer service parts department has been very frustrating.

I sent them a copy of my invoice on 4th Dec and am still waiting for a replacement charger. Just not acceptable and such a shame as the initial customer service chat line was really helpful. So would recommend it if everything is working ok but NOT if there is a problem.

So my star rating is about the use of the laptop IF the charger was supplied and working!.

I had to returned it yesterday, I bought it from best buy Canada, less than 2 weeks ago. Is the only nice feature you have is 360, which, practically ever used it, as I have my tablets. Issues. I bought zeenbook dual instead ( I am not a gamer) so I have zero knowledge about gaming, but for personal and business use, as Asus Zenbook was at the top of mountain and the 360 thing, not at the bottom, in fact under the bottom.

I made a video comparison, soon will be out in YouTube, but main differences I noticed were; even Samsung claims they have best resolution, is nothing head to head comparing with OLED screen resolution of Asus, download speed is 50-75% slowe than that of asus, USB-C charging works only with their supercharger plug, I used Z fold plug with same Samsung notebook USBC cable, it took close to 30 hrs to charge the notebook, with light use ( surfing internet, writing documents, viewing email) you will be lucky if you get 3-4 hrs, with the zenbook, u get 4 hrs but it’s higher performance and dual screen, so it make sense.

if you link your phone, this will slow both performance of the phone and the notebook, while on with Asus zenbook, it runs very smoothly like if you connecting nothing too it. After all this notebook doesn’t worth the price, beside, Samsung is well known to have bad customer service and negliccance, that’s why it was returned, beside, do not expect any of their electronic life span more than few months, I also contacted them for galaxy watch which also has problems, and their earbuds which has wish background sound.

I have got this lovely Book2 Pro since the beginning of April 2022. When i opened the package it arrived in, it impressed me. I have since used the laptop a lot and must say I am surprised how good it is.

The 16Gb make a lot of difference. Had there been a 32Gb version, I would have gone for that, but it was not available. I bought the laptop to take along with me when I am writing my books. I use it mainly for research on the internet and then with Scrivener to write.

The long-lasting battery is excellent. Provided I do not sit in direct sunlight, the battery lasts me the entire day. In direct sunlight, however, it does become a drain on the battery. However, one can extend the usage time if one changes the background colours to a darker mode.

I would have liked the display, which is excellent with amazing colours, to be a little brighter when I sit in some coffee shop and write in the sunshine. (one perk of the job. ) I absolutely love the keyboard.

It is a joy to type on it. I prefer to use a mouse instead of the touchpad. So I switch the touchpad off. Sometimes the space is too narrow and I have to use the touchpad, and it is so easy to switch it on.

When it gets dark, I enjoy the back-lit keyboard. It makes life so much easier. Everything considered, it is an outstanding laptop for the price.

I had been using this laptop since it was launched. My concern is that it always heat up. I am not referring to just warm because of usage but really hot to the touch specially when charging or installing something.

I always made sure I have the ventilation free from any blockage but it still does heat up. I was also running some display issues on some games I was playing. They work perfectly fine on my other computer but the game screen size does not load properly on this laptop.

I have not really used it much since I do not like putting it on my lap since it heats up fast. And I am only using the charger that it came with, no other charger. Or am I the only one experiencing that issue?.
