CurrexSole is doing something quite different than the old standbys of the insole market, and I think it’s a better idea. I’ve always been skeptical of the “miracle cure” reviews for such products, but in my case I went from wondering if I had permanently damaged my feet to nearly pain free from the first few steps in these insoles, and it’s continued to improve since then.
I never experienced that with other products. CurrexSole takes a different approach to insole design – instead of the traditional fairly rigid, relative aggressive arch shape that is supposedly oven-moldable or use-conforming, CurrexSoles provides 3 different arch heights and a resilient type of support that allows the arch to flex naturally to absorb shock, but in a controlled way.
The fitting process measures arch height, not just arch length, so the sole starts out better optimized to your foot shape. I discovered in fitting the CurrexSoles that my older insoles had too high, too rigid, and too extensive of an arch that was slowly irriating the nerves in my foot, but that initially did not feel that way.
rather, it felt “supportive”. Feet change over time, and favorite insoles can stop working. It’s critically important to understand what type of insole your feet need. That can involve a lot of experimentation if not a visit to a podiatrist.
In my case, I learned that a sole that works with the natural mechanisms of your foot, rather than attempts to replace them, is where you should start.
Comfort, support and ventilation. Three steps in the right direction. Achilles tab prevents sock from slipping and front tab provides protection from shoe tongue irritation. Quick-drying material keeps you feeling fresh.
Purchased these socks a few weeks ago for my daughter. I noticed her wearing them the other day and asked if she liked them and she said she did! She then pointed out the design on the bottom of the socks that added cushioning to the socks.
That was the feature she really liked most. Then my husband commented that these were the socks he wore when he ran cross country and they were really good socks. We recommend buying this product for design as well as for comfort.
I forgot to add that I purchased because my daughter always needs white no show socks for Sidelines Cheer and Competition Cheer which is why I bought these socks.
I was raving about the set of white socks that I got, so soft and comfortable and not binding. Then I got a set of black socks and they were completely different, ultra thin and stiff and gripping my ankles.
A whole bunch of the black ones on display were also like that. I exchanged them for another set of black an employee found that matched the softness of my original white ones. I think it may be a flaw or defect in manufacturing.
So be aware and compare and feel the softness before buying.
Bought a pair of these a while ago when they were on sale. Without doubt, these are the most comfortable socks I’ve ever owned. That good that I had to purchase a 3 pack when they finally became available again.
Most of my activity is walking, so not sure how they will go for the runners out there, but they seem to resist pilling better than other brands and they dont seem to retain moisture on those muggy Nth Qld days either.

I’m very pleased with these insoles as I’ve gone through countless pairs before these, trying to find something that is both comfortable and supportive. I was starting to give up thinking I must be doomed.
But these are exactly what my feet needed. I’m so glad to have finally found good insoles. I can wear these for hours and my feet feel fine. Words can’t describe how relieved I am to no longer have to deal with foot pain due to lack of support! Another thing I was surprised by is how nicely these are packaged, they defiantly have a premium look and feel.
They are supposed to be made to fit but I did have to trim just a tiny bit off the toe area to make it a perfect fit for my shoes. It was easy to do and didn’t diminish quality in any way. These insoles feel like they will hold up over time, and that’s exactly what I needed.
These are awesome! I am preparing for a hiking/walking trip and was getting shin splints from my walks. I have flat feet too. I have tried a couple of other types that didn’t help much. I purchased these hoping they would be better, and they are! They have helped the pain related to both my flat feet and the shin splints.
I also love the padding they provide, it makes them cushy too. Highly recommend!!.

My 12 year old son has been using these inserts for 2 years to help with fallen arches and growing pains. They are very supportive and durable. We had to size up as his foot had grown. When we attended the rehab facility after a consultation with an orthopedic doctor, which resulted in over $200 worth of visits, copay, time, and these arch supports, this was a recommended suggestion by the physical therapist who was working with him on arch strengthening exercises.
I wish we could. have gone back, saved our money and just invested in these in the beginning. He no longer complains of foot pain and uses them daily in his tennis shoes and sports shoes. They have been a lifesaver! I highly recommend these to all of our friends who have kids complaining of the same symptoms.
Insoles are personal things, of course. All I know is that this one works for me to provide good moderate arch support. I’m in my late 60’s and injured my instep last year on a walk, something popped in my arch (not good).
The healing took a while. At last, I found these Power Step insoles after trying numerous others. I now own three pairs and exchange them in my shoes. No more foot pain! A very comfortable feel all day long.
and they’re not so thick, so they don’t make your feet tight in the shoes. Firm, great arch support.
I have an expensive orthotic, which works very well, but is not easy or convenient to change every time I put on a different pair of shoes. The expensive orthotic does not work with sandals. The metatarsal cushion is easy to put in shoes, and it even works in sandals.
It relieves the pressure on the neuroma, and I can now wear shoes and sandals I haven’t worn in months. I still need the expensive orthotic is still necessary, but the cushions are a great addition to my foot care.
Low-density EVA pod provides cushioning and comfort. Medium-density EVA throughout yields underfoot support without the loss of cushioning. High-density EVA sculpted arch with the goal of placing the foot in the neutral position.
High-density EVA heel cup provides support and improves natural cushioning. Moisture-wicking top layer helps keep feet dry and comfortable The Oboz anatomically designed insole maximizes stability and support with a supportive arch and a deep-cushioning heel cup.
Triple-density EVA throughout provides both cushioning and durability, and a shot of EVA under the metatarsals and heels adds extra protection to high-strike zones.
While planning my first backpack/hike I had concerns about my feet so I bought these hoping that they would help reduce any discomfort. I found them to be very comfortable. I’m using them in a pair of Keen Ridge Flex hiking shoes and they cradle my feet nicely.
They are superior to the inserts that came with the Keens having more material and are of better build quality. Of course for the price – they absolutely should! My hiking was done on a trail with lots of rocks the size of baseballs and golfballs with hard, sharp edges.
These insoles along with a great pair of hiking shoes kept my feet fresh until about 8 miles at which point I could start feeling the pressure from the rocks through my shoes. That’s not a reflection on the shoes or insoles but just how my feet respond at that point in a long hike on that type of terrain.
Size ‘L’ was spot on for my 10. 5 (wide) shoes and did not require any cutting or modification. The only negative so far has been the price. They are not the most expensive insoles but they are far from the cheapest.
So far the price has been worth the money that I paid for them.
I discovered these from my Oboz hiking boots and liked how substantial these are for coming with the boots and that you could buy seperately. I use these in all my shoes. They are nice and comfortable.
They are a great general purpose insole, no special instep or arch support. They are durable, as I wear them in work boots and they wash up well and dry quickly. I wouldnt suggest putting in a dryer on high heat, just low heat or no heat settings.
I had tried on a few Oboz boots and was impressed with the built-in arch support and the heel lock on them, though I couldn’t find the ideal backpacking boot because they don’t make their dedicated backpacking boot in a wide size.
At their just-passed REI anniversary sale, I picked up a pair of the Zamberlan Vioz GTX boots in a wide size at a solid discount and also used my dividend to get them for a steal. I decided to give these a try with the boots in the event that I needed more from the already solid arch support in the Vioz boots.
The Vioz insoles were okay for the most part, but felt as though the edge along the outside of the footbed didn’t really taper towards the edge of the boot for my feet. I felt as though I was standing on that edge of the insole.
I tried these out on a 3 mile backpack hike with a baby backpack of between 40-45 pounds and came away impressed. I have always opted for insoles with 3/4 support (orthopedist recommended) with the plastic molds in them as I have a case of hallux limitus in my big toes.
I was initially leery of these as they don’t use a hard plastic support system. For my part, I believe the already sturdy support of the Vioz boots complement the support of these insoles particularly well.
Any concerns I had about not having a stiffer 3/4 panel under my feet went away during the hike. I don’t know if it was the insoles, the boots, or a bit of each, but my hip joints and muscles felt particularly good after the hike.
If you typically need a firmer support system in your insoles, your mileage might vary with these in softer boots and shoes, but for my purposes, these have been great so far. They are a bit higher in volume than the stock insoles to start with, so there was a little less room top to bottom in the toe box and I had to cinch the boots down to get a heel lock that was commensurate with the stock insoles, but with wear, I anticipate that the natural compression of the padding in the heel and the forefoot should remedy both.
High-performance insoles, shaped to fit the proportions of the female foot, for kilometers of comfort on the trails. A combination of EVA foam and carbon heel plates with cushioning pods provides a stable platform and shock absorption to keep your feet going in rough terrain.
An odour-control treatment helps keep your boots fresh, even on multi-day adventures. EVA foam cushioning provides stability and pressure distribution for comfort on the trail. Carbon fibre cap supports and stabilizes your feet in rough terrain.
Deep heel cup with impact absorbing pod prevents heel slips and cushions against impacts. Wicking top layer has an antimicrobial treatment to prevent stinky boots. Women’s specific fit with a slimmer heel cup and anatomical arch length.
These are not the original replacements. They now have a bright green large foam bottom, making them over 1/2 in taller. While I understand this was probably done to make them more comfortable, it actually lifts the foot too high, making your heel slide back and forth and the shoe much tighter across your foot! I don’t have wide or thick feet, but these make the shoes too uncomfortable to wear, because now, they are too tight across the foot and the heel slides out.
So, the idea that you can replace the insole is not correct. Extremely disappointing, because they don’t make the same replacements and these will leave you with blisters. They should update the website with the correct information.
Now I have a pair of sneakers that are worthless, and that’s very disappointing, because I really did love these shoes.
I ordered these insoles to slip into my Rothy’s sneakers between washes. I assumed they would be exactly the same as the insoles my Rothy’s came with, but I was wrong. They have significantly more padding.
In the attached photos, you’ll see how much more – look at the sole with the green bottom. With these insoles, my sneakers no longer fit. If you are looking to make your Rothy’s more comfortable, these are a great option for you.
But be advised that you’ll need to size your sneaker up an additional half or whole size – these insoles + your regular size will be way too tight. If you are looking for straight-forward replacement soles, like I was, pass on these.
Rothy’s, please make your descriptions clearer 🙏🏻 and please make true replacement insoles!.
Wasn’t sure what to expect with this but thought I would try it. Its nice. As recommended, I sized up the shoes a full size. They fit but there was a little play in them until I put the insole in. Now they fit perfectly.
Its very comfortable. You could put another insert on top of it if you needed arch support or whatever else. The shoes are perfect for travel. They are compact, light and nice looking. The fabric looks extremely durable but is soft to the touch.
Designed specifically for running, Superfeet RUN Comfort insoles can help runners reduce foot fatigue while gaining efficiency. The Superfeet shape personalizes the shoe to your foot. The EVOLyte carbon fiber cap and AeroSpring Dual Comfort foam combine to deliver exceptional comfort and smooth and efficient energy transfer through your gait from foot strike to toe off.
I purchased these from their website yet they did not give any information about sizing. When I order shoes from them, the width is B, so that is what I ordered. They came and were too small. When I searched the website again, there was a sizing link, but that did not work.
I had to call customer service to figure out what size I needed and then pay to have them shipped back. This is the first time that I am not happy with this site.
I know this is geared towards people who run but I have flat feet and these are comfortable to wear after a full day of work (constant standing or walking). I’m sure it would be comfortable to run in as well if I can stand/walk in them all day.
It really does prevent me from having aching feet. I’d recommend these Superfeet insoles!.
I’ve always suffered with shin splints. I’ve just accepted it as part of my running. The insoles that come with running shoes are generally thin and offer little support. Strangely, I’ve used Superfeet Greens in my hiking boots for several years, but for some reason, never thought to check if Superfeet did a running insole.
As soon as I saw the RUN Comfort, I had to try them. Within one week of use, my shin pain has almost vanished, my feet actually feel lighter when running, and it feels like I’m running with more spring.
Absolutely amazing insoles, and I can’t recommend them enough. So good in fact, that as I my Greens needed replacing in my hiking boots, I replaced them with the Trailblazer (similar to the Run but designed specifically for hiking).
Spenco Polysorb Walker/Runner Insole : Spenco Insoles : These premium insoles provide contoured, flexible support that cradles your feet with targeted cushioning that improves your athletic performance and prolongs the life of your shoes.
Ideal for walking, running, training and sports. Ideal for a medium to high arch foot type. Lightweight Polysorb polyurethane foam heel cupping and contoured arch support. SpenCore forefoot cushioning.
SpenCore heel strike pad. Low-friction top cloth helps prevent blisters. Silpure antimicrobial top cloth reduces odor.
I got these to replace the standard insole in my hiking boots. The arch was in the right spot for my feet and improved my walking comfort considerably. I don’t have any major foot problems, but these were a definite improvement.
Have used these insoles for years. They are the best. Unlike gel insoles that deteriorate after 6 weeks of continuous use, the Polysorb insoles last for a year or more. I have recommended them to friends and they really, really like them as well.
If you have any type of walking or foot related problem, I suggest giving them a try. As with my friends, it is only an approximate $20 experiment to achieve relief.
Hand wash in warm water. Total support with targeted cushioning. athletes looking for support who participate in a variety of physical activities. Polysorb stability cradle provides advanced arch support and deep heel cupping.
Pros: 1. Excellent arch support for people with flat feet who need a sustained noncompressible arch. 2. Placement of arch fit my feet well. 3. Has different density foams on the heel that act as a slight medial post to help with over-pronation.
4. Significantly less expensive than custom orthotics. 5. Excellent customer service. 6. Free shipping. Cons: 1. Top foam over heel & arch is thin, could be softer and more supportive over the hard plastic parts.
2. Foam at the forefoot is very supportive and provides great cushion but it is bulky and crowds my shoes. Any thinner yet still effective options? 3. Sesamoid/metatarsal pad is strangely shaped. Rather than being almond shaped it has a protrusion toward the big toe.
This can interfere with the sesamoid bones. I noticed later made Spenco orthotics to have a normal slightly raised almond shaped pad. Can you go back and revise the one on this orthotic? 4. The dual density red & blue foam under the heel sits in place of the hard black plastic which makes for a cushioned heel BUT there is a black hard plastic strip between them which is uncomfortable after long wear.
My heels feel it and it makes them sore. Please consider removing this part. I’d pay extra for the cons to be corrected because the structure of this orthotic is excellent.
I thought the insoles would be more comfortable than they were. I have flat feet and the arch support doesn’t work for me. The first pair of insoles I bought were very comfortable. There were no arch supports just a very soft cushion.
They were green and because I am on my feet all day they were great. I don’t remember which ones they were. If you could look back on my first order and tell me which ones they were, so I could buy them again I would really appreciate it.
I recently took the new pair of insoles out of my new shoes to rave about the Spenco insoles and how they have changed my life to my visiting friend of 40 years. She took note of my praise and recorded the info.
on her phone. Keep in mind, with age, we are not impressed with many products. Spenco insoles are the diamond on the beach that gets noticed. Good performance, good quality, helps feet stay aligned.
By setting the top high impact zone layer over our 4mm high density moldable foam, you’ll barely notice the rockiest trails you follow. Imported. Mens shoe sizes: S(5-6. 5), M(7-8. 5), L(9-10. 5), XL(11-12), XXL(13-14).
I bought the Cushion insoles because I’m on my feet 14+ hours a day. I love my Kenetrek boots but the replacement “cushion insoles” do not have a lot of cushion to them. I will be looking for something else, because at the end of the day I can’t wait to get my boots off.
I don’t like giving bad reviews but I’m not really impressed by this product.
Unable to wear corrie3. 2 and Bridger low hiker because originally insole was so hard. Placed cushion insoles on top of original insole and that solved the problem. Tried cushion insole by it’s self ,that would not work.
The Suntoucher is Tread and Butter’s new low arch, low volume insole. Using the same construction and materials as their flagship Cascadia insole, the Suntoucher is 30 percent lower volume in the heel and arch, while maintaining the same amount of cushioning and support.
If you have a low arch, or a sensitive arch, or proverbial flat feet, the Suntoucher is the one.
The insoles are nicely made, partly of a natural material cork and not full synthetic. Only minimal trimming around the front toe area was necessary and they were easy to trim to fit (outdoor shoe size 7.
5 with insole size 8). Manufacturer information states low arch and low volume and “made to keep your arch elevated and help mitigate foot pain caused by maladies like plantar fasciitis”, so I was hopeful that they would work for my feet.
They seemed comfortable at first but after wearing them on approx. 3 mile walks and trail hikes, my feet hurt quite a bit all over afterwards (not localized to arch) and the insoles did not seem to break in after multiple uses.
The insoles worked well for shorter and less intense activities, eg, in short rubber boots for working in the yard. These high quality insoles may work well for others.
This is my second pair and I’m thrilled to see them on REI. I used my first pair for my hiking shoes and loved them so much that I just bought another pair for my running shoes. The true test was a multi day backpacking trip in the Tetons where I was hiking 10 plus miles per day, with a full pack, and a lot of elevation gain.
My feet had never felt better. The difference these made was noticeable…I have always struggled with the insoles that came with my shoes and I wish I had found these years earlier. Bonus: the odor fighting construction really works and I LOVE that these are made with the environment in mind and that the company is focused on sustainability.
Going to be buying another pair for my ski boots this winter.
These insoles are supposed to be ‘plug and play’ and when I put them against my feet, the contours match. But when I put them in my hiking boot, the fit was not quite right. The insoles fit in my hiking shoes perfectly but the arch didn’t quite line up.
I felt myself wanting to push my heel back or moving my feet around inside my shoe to get the arch of the insole to fit correctly against my arch. The insole and material itself is comfortable but because the fit was not quite right, I can’t say how great these could have been.
Definitely would not be able to do a multi-day hike with these in my hiking shoes. I wear a 7. 5 hiking shoe and got these in a size 8.

When my cardiologist (my afib is fine) asked if I had any other complaints, I mentioned my plantar fasciitis. He whipped off his shoe, pulled out a Spenco Insole and said to get one of these! He sent me to a medical supplier, but they were out.
So I went online and ordered them. When they arrived , it was instant relief! Worth every penny. I just got my second pair for my new shoes. I’m 80, have high arches, and tile floors. Sometimes I forget and think I can walk barefoot on the tiles.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that time; so I do it again the next day; and surprise–PAIN. My Spencos permit me to actually walk pain-free the next day.
The Superfeet Trim To Fit Carbon insoles are the thinnest soles available from Superfeet. These insoles are made using carbon fiber and foam, which ensures a good combination of firmness and comfort.
For the heel, a special bowl has been made that positions the heel so that it absorbs shocks better for optimal and natural cushioning. The insole is made using a soft and durable material, which provides extra comfort, and this sole has a natural layer that prevents odour-causing bacteria.
The reinforced back ensures structure and preserves the shape of the arch support. The Trim To Fit Carbon has special air holes under the midfoot and forefoot for improved air circulation and to save weight.
The front of this arch support is extra wide to support wider feet and this front is bevelled so that this sole fits even better in tight fitting shoes. The front of this insole can be cut so that it fits into every shoe.
A lifetime of walking on extremely flat feet finally caused pretty significant arthritis and major limitations on walking. I used to walk 5 or more miles when I suddenly developed pain severe enough to limit even household weight bearing.
Cold packs, massage, OTC analgesics offered no relief. A podiatrist recommended I try Superfeet insoles instead of expensive orthopedics and recommended I buy them at REI because they wouldn’t try to redirect me to sell me a store brand.
I bought the Superfeet Carbon and within an hour the pain began to lessen! I wear them in all my shoes, sandals, and boots; everything. I’ve gone from having foot pain 24/7 and giving up walking, to being pain free and walking 5 miles a day.
I’m thankful that REI sells this brand, keeps a complete line of sizes and support levels in stock and employ helpful a sales associates; they provide knowledgeable, friendly service.
A new tech material in a existing product I have used for 15+ years so I tried it. Not bad but I felt the arch was lower height than I am use to. I purchased one of each material and compared. The benefit is weight reduction of some gram or ounce amount, not needed.
I may try again in next 6 months. Why? I buy a new pair of shoes and super feet every six months. This keeps me away from the Plantar Fasciitis doctor.
I use these in both my everyday shoes, my ice hockey skates and inline skates. I’ve been using these by recommendation of my physiotherapist and they have helped so much in helping me walk. I have large wide feet with collapsed arches, Achilles tendinopathy and plantar fascitis.
These are absolutely fantastic, they don’t take up any space in my shoes and fit perfectly in my skates with are already snug. Make sure you replace any insoles you already have or you won’t have space and check the sizing.
I had to trim the ends as they were a tiny bit long. They have a hard plastic bottom and a soft foam insole on top, you need to take your time getting used to them and wear them for no more than a few hours to begin with.
I’ve used the same pair for almost three years and I’ve glued them back together as the glue degraded – but the actual sole and foam topper is still in perfect condition even after going through the washing machine.
I was using crutches daily before and I can now run, skate and walk for more than 30 minutes without extreme pain. I would spend any amount of money to ensure I could wear these, I truly wouldn’t choose any other brand for my hockey insoles as they are simply perfect for me.

After they arrived my wife said she would prefer to buy shoes instead. So, we did’t try them and intend to return them. The only hold up was I wasn’t aware with the shoes we have 5 different shoes in one.
So I kept the BioSoles. So far My wife has experience total relief in her right leg and arch. I waited a week and finally added the arch support Yesterday. It helped some additional on her left leg which was already much improved.
I know this is the wrong place to tell you about our shoe experience. Thanks you have a wonderful Product.
I love this insole. In past years, I have tried high end expensive to lesser costly insoles. These Biosole Gel Thin are so perfect I include them in all other shoes expect my Orthofeet shoes that I feel already provide the comfort I need.
The Biosole Thin starts the day and goes until the end of day with NO “okay I can’t wear anymore, need to switch shoes”.
I cannot say enough how much my feet are enjoying the new inserts. Right from the moment I slipped them in my shoes, my feet said ahhhhh thank you. I was buying my inserts elsewhere and found the company had made quality changes and many people were complaining and I was one of them.
I am so glad to have found this company and have been sharing this information with many people.
I’ve been waiting for someone to make a carbon plated insole and this did not disappoint. I always was anxious about the high stack of the carbon plated footwear and the awkward fit (not to mention the high price) so I just stuck to my everyday trainers.
Putting this insole in my trusty, daily training shoe for speed / tempo work helped turn it into a high performance speed shoe. I didn’t have to worry about turning my ankle in a high stack shoe that doesn’t fit properly and got the same added responsive boost from the carbon plate and high quality foam.
Using this on speed days and the regular Propel on distance days has been an awesome 1-2 punch for my training plan. Looking forward to getting them into race action soon!.
After running with these insoles twice, I have adopted them as my 2nd insoles. I alternate between 2 pairs of running shoes, and up to now, have used the same pair of insoles for both pairs. But the Spence pair are very comparable to the Good Feet ones I use (which are not cheap).
They are quite strong and supportive. My only improvement suggestion would be to add a little more cushion on the very front aka the toe box area. It was little thin there. Also get the right size! Not much trim room.
Spenco Propel + Carbon Insoles = Game Changer! My daily runs have just become even better. From increased speed to appropriate support that I feel from my toes all the way to my glutes has all significantly improved.
Adding these insoles to your favorite pair of runners will up your game tenfold, but don’t just take my word for it, try them for yourself. I’m incredibly pleased with my results, and I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to Propel their runs to the max! Thanks HTC!.
Spenco GEL Full Length Comfort Insoles provide the heel-to-toe comfort you need at a price that fits easily into any budget. The triple density gel channels energy flow so you get maximum power from each step and minimum heel strike discomfort.
If you prefer gel insoles to traditional ones, want a change or think it’s time to give gel a try, these shoe insoles are a perfect choice. Because these are full length insoles, they provide lasting pressure relief under your entire foot.
Keep in mind, however, that full length insoles may not fit properly into tight shoes. They’re perfect, however, for roomy shoes that can benefit from some extra cushioning comfort to improve the fit.
The special contoured design supports your heel, your medial arch and the ball of the foot, so you can find relief no matter your foot ailment — and prevent future problems too.
They are way way too thick. They take up so much room in your shoe you can not get your foot in there. My foot would not fit in my shoe because there was no room. I have purchased insoles from the insole store for years.
They let me down this time I had to throw one pair away and put the second one out in the garage. I need to send it back and get something else. Total terrible insoles.
Using this insole has cured my heel pain. I can feel myself walking differently even after I take them off like it has corrected my pronated steps. I feel like I’m utilizing the outsides of my feet more than before.
I guess it’s a correction since the pain has stopped.
I am a senior. Started walking for exercise during the pandemic. I got up to 3 miles walking distance every night. I purchased these insoles and in three days I was able to double my distance. I now walk 6 miles every night.
Built with 12 springs that cushion and support the foot, Spring Loaded Insoles return energy to the body for a “push off” with every stride. Five coils are positioned directly underneath the heel to counter the effects of body weight.
Seven smaller springs under the ball of the foot further disperse the impact and cradle the foot. Suspension coils are only. 25″ thick, making them ideal for athletic shoes, dress shoes or work boots.
Honeycomb padding features built-in valves that draw in and expel air during walking for constant circulation that keeps shoes dry. Trimmable for perfect fit. Available in S (Men’s 4-6/Women’s 5. 5-7.
5), M (Men’s 7-8/Women’s 8-9. 5), L (Men’s 9-10/Women’s 10-11. 5) and XL (Men’s 11-13/Women’s 12-13. 5).
Like and bought the Soleeze spring insoles. These insoles have a nice cushioning feeling with the metal alloy springs being loaded underneath the insoles. These insoles also produce a good amount of energy return which I can feel when I wear and walk in them.
I actually wear these insoles with an athletic shoe brand called “Spira” shoes. Spira shoes has a dual spring (but they’re pretty bigger) one in the heel and one in the ball of the forefoot. But, anyways with these insoles though, I would place them right into my Spira shoes and as soon as I put them onto my feet, I can immediately feel a super amount of cushioning, comfort, and lots of energy being returned back to my legs and feet from just walking or long periods of standing all day.
The good thing is I didn’t pay full price to try them out. There is some spring in the heel but not as much as I expected and the entire insole was thinner than I hoped for. The ball of my foot needs more cushion and spring.
I’ve had ankle, knee and foot pain with every step i took since as far back as 8 years ago. That is till i purchased these insoles. From the first second of using this, my foot pain is completely gone, my ankle pain tremendously reduced and so is the pressure on my knees and hip.
As a former athlete that has first hand experience with joint pain and arthritis, get this if you have similar issues.
Orthaheel shoes are designed to restore natural foot function and counteract the daily grind of walking on hard and unnatural surfaces. Make sure you remove existing insoles from your shoes before replacing them with this product.
WOW! I love this extra support! I am size 10M in women’s and the medium orthotic is perfect. I am 45, and I have been suffering from terrible foot pain due to severe over-pronation diagnosed by podiatrists since my late teens.
I wore bulky prescription orthotics in my sneakers (customized for my feet) for years which helped, but I gave up on them 8 yrs ago when I discovered Vionic sneakers (and shoes, sandals, boots, etc. ) The “Vionic ACTIVE Full Length Orthotics” feel more comfortable in my opinion than all my Vionic sneakers.
Also, I like this Vionic active full length orthotics much better than the regular Vionic full length pair of orthotics since I feel they offer a lot more support and cushioning. Seriously, for this first time in years, I feel so light on my feet as if I am walking on air! I am a runner, so if walking is easier with these babies, I cannot imagine how wonderful it will be to run with them too.
I love these Active orthotics so much, that I wear them inside a clean/new pair of sneakers to walk around my house instead of my Vionic slippers. I will buy another pair for running as well. I wish Vioinc would offer shoes with this serious additional support some people may need.
Love the Vionic Active Full-Length Orthotic Insoles for Women! Out of nowhere my heel on one foot was excruciating painful; pain similar to stepping on a nail. I made an appt for my podiatrist, but in the interim ordered these insoles as I found using a different pair I had relieved my pain.
I googled symptoms and guessed I had plantar fascitis or a bone spur. Turned out I have very little fat pads on the bottoms of my feet and must have bruised my heel. Dr. said the insoles are exactly what would help alleviate my problem.
The Vionics are very soft and cushiony. They don’t add much room to the shoe and haven’t had to remove the shoe’s insoles. I just insert it on top. The instructions say they can be trimmed at the toe area if need be.
My heel pain disappears when walking with these so they’re definitely a keeper! I plan to order another as I keep switching them from my outdoor shoes to my house slippers. Can’t walk without them. If I could suggest one thing-to have a non-slip on the bottoms of it because they slide out of my slippers.
I guess I could probably stick one on myself and see if it works.
Purchased these for my daughter who typically wears an eight sometimes a seven. she complained that the arch support was to far back toward her heel and caused her pain. I did order her the smallest size which was the recommended size.
I’ve noted several comments regarding Vionic over the years of this being a problem. I wonder if it is due to poor arches on our feet or if the orthotics is just not a good fit for some now matter what you do because of how its made.
I to have a several pair of the shoes. flip flops and some slip on wool shoes for around the house and I to have noticed how the arch feels like its pressing back into my heel like the placement is off like the support needs to be further forward on my foot.
hmmm. is it my foot or the orthotics? I ask this because I have seen this as a complaint over and over again in reviews on Vionic in general about shoes and on the Orthotics. My High Tide thong sandals are amazing and very comfy but the arch does take some getting used to but the best thongs I have ever owned super cushy and supportive I can wear them all day with no problems.
Quality is superb the only questions I have are due to fit of the arch support. I will be contacting Vionic to get and answer. But this brand is definitely worth trying. My mom wears them and loves them and she has pretty wide feet and thick feet and they work wonderfully for her.
*Top layer of 100 leather for a luxurious look and feel *Patented, custom-moulded Balance Plate provides durable arch support and dynamic return energy *Shock-absorbing 1. 8mm layer provides cushioned comfort and can help prevent injuries *High-strength lower surface gives long-lasting performance.
I’ve gone through several pairs of these custom insoles. In all the previous times, I was able to go into a store and do the molding thing. This included a plane flight to get to a store. Wasn’t going to happen this time, so since I got my imprints recorded, I used that record to get a new set made.
I was disappointed when they arrived. The heel and arch portion matched an existing pair, but the forefoot was virtually flat. I contacted customer support with photos comparing the two sets. Turns out, there’s a part of support specifically for these insoles.
The support person, Christian, was quick to acknowledge the problem and had another pair made, which was much better. Outstanding. A word of advice. If you decide to go this route, make sure you give the set that go into record a good look because there will be variety across fittings.
I looking over the multiple pairs I had, there were even two different sizes. Needless to say, given I’ve bought multiple pairs, these are worth it. I run each set up to 1,000 miles before replacing.
This latest pair, maybe because they’re new, have so much more cushioning. I’ve got them in Hokas, so it’s a real cushy ride.
I have a relatively flat foot and very slight pronation. I’ve always felt most comfortable in neutral, high cushion shoes. I run 3-5 times per week at a 9 min/mile pace. (average between 60-100 miles per month).
I’m 50 and about 10 lbs over my ideal weight, but still in good shape with a VO2 of 45. When I was younger I ran 19min 5k and 41min 10k and no hip, knee or foot issues whatsoever. I bought these insoles after a running evaluation at the Road Runner store.
I was told what I already knew: I have flat feet and slight pronation. After being fitted with the insoles, I put them in a new pair of Hokka Arahi 4 shoes. I started developing a hip joint issue, and then pain on the top of my foot.
I ended up going to physical therapy and learned that the issue resided in my feet, causing the hip/joint issues. My trainer said the insoles were causing 75% of the problem and would make things worse over time.
They were not simply supporting my natural gait and pronation, but over-correcting causing my body to fight against this unnatural adjustment. After 3 months of pain and frustration, I removed the R-Gear Custom Insoles and slipped on an old pair of Hokka Clifton 7.
PROBLEM SOLVED. Moral of the story: don’t fix what ain’t broke, even if you’re told you need something new.
This is my 2nd pair. I knew the the first pair played a big part in my plantar fasciitis relief. I found an almost new pair of running shoes in the back of the closet that I previously purchased hoping they would my plantar fasciitis.
I tried running in them, but began to feel the familiar pain on the bottom of my left foot. After putting the customs insoles in the shoes, these are now my new favorite pair of running shoes. These insoles were the key for me, hopefully the will be for you.
The concluded replacement insoles for brooks running shoes are that they are very comfortable and help with foot and ankle alignment. They also provide good arch support and are shock absorbent. Overall, they are a great product and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good insole to use while running.
