Ordered two of these. Both had a significant manufacturing defect — the vertical post would not fit into the receptacle on the base. Tolerances were comfortably off. I had to use a large metal file to shave some of the aluminum off the vertical post to get it to fit.
Again, this was on two separate units. Once this was done, I also had to go to the hardware store to get fasteners that don’t strip easily. If you buy this, you’ll see there is a clearance issue that arises if you don’t tighten down two fasteners very tightly, and the fasteners provided w/ this product weren’t up to the task.
Once I did all this, the products actually worked fine and are very sturdy. In other words, they’re really good after you fix them from the manufacturer. I would have returned these without fixing them, but we had no choice b/c we were leaving on a trip a couple days after these finally arrived from DR.
Before I bought this chok, I always jammed the front wheel up against the front of the truck bed and strapped the bike down. It worked well enough, but I was always worried that the front wheel might somehow get dislodged.
I was especially worried now that we tow a pick-up behind the motor home with the bike in back. This seemed like the perfect solution and I have to say it’s worked beautifully. Just put it in the back of the truck and pull the arms out until they are up tight against the side of the truck bed.
Then adjust the height of the center post for your front wheel diameter. My 19″ wheel uses the center position so it should be good for wheels from 16-21″. It’s robust and well made. The center post comes out so it doesn’t need a lot of room for storage.
It’s easy to slip the front wheel into and out off the chok and It holds the bike securely upright so strapping the bike down is a breeze. This used to be a two person job, but now I can easily do it by myself.
I ordered the no drill chock on Monday Labor Day since they offered a extra 15% off. I got it today on Thursday. I took it out of the box and put it together in minutes with pins and clips. Only had to put 2 bolts in and ready to go.
They sent a hex wrench with it so all I had to use was a 13mm wrench. The aluminum construction was strong and light weight. Steel parts are all galvanized. I’m going to use it on all my bikes, dirt, sport, ADV and harleys.
It fit perfectly in my toy hauler and holds bike up with minimal strain on tie downs and D rings. I’m driving 900 miles on my next trip and will know more after I’ve used it. Fast easy ordering, fast delivery and well made product.

The chock is not snug on my tires and bike will lean so much that the brake rotor will hang on the chock and cause bending. I should have researched more to realize this chock does not “grab” your tire and hold bike upright so that you can dismount and then start strapping down the bike.
The mechanism to hook into the e trac is a cool feature. unfortunately I will have to remove that bottom plate off your chock and weld it to a better wheel chock for my usage.
I put E-Track left to right in my trailer in three spots for the motorcycle track. I can carry up to four bikes, or two over the axles, or one over the axles. The go in and remove so quickly that that isn’t an issue.
I can put two bikes side by side, or one in the middle. ADDED BONUS, when the chock is hung on the wall it works great for hanging things like life jackets, wet towels, jackets, etc. Two in a row would work for paddles, rakes and shovels, hose, cords, etc.

For use use “free standing” on cement garage floor without bolting it to the concree, simply place the wheel-chock on two layers of rubber kitchen-drawer liner to prevent it from sliding about when driving to bike into the chock.
The rubber drawer liner Works Absolutely Perfect and prevents wheel-chock for moving when you SLOWLY drive the bike in !!. see pic Sluggested Improvement: Front cross-arm should be 6″ or 8″ longer and should come with Tie-down Strap bolt holes pre-drilled + include 2 tie-down strap connetion eyes.
Will not work on garage floors unless bolted down! At least that was the story in my case! Tried to drive and then push motorcycle on it and it just slides across floor. Easy fix if you bolt it to the floor! But after that they’ll be no more moving it.
Kinda disapointed that I’ll have to mount on floor. But it seems heavy duty!.

The product is great! The packaging is a real disaster. The heavy iron in the flimsy cardboard box tore the boxs on the ends. The hardware fell out before I got the two units loaded into my vehicle. Lucky for me I noticed a shiny washer on the ground before driving off from the store.
When I opened the boxes to assemble each unit the plastic bags that had the bolts, washers and locking pins in it was torn open. The hardware was throughout the box. Some of the hardware had fallen out.
I was fortunate to find all of the hardware on my garage floor. I would suggest the boxes be made of a corrugated plastic.
Works great. Used in motorcycle trailer to travel to Sturgis. Once bike is in the chock it was easy to tie down the MC by myself without any worry of the bike tipping over during the process. Kept bike upright the entire trip.
I will be using it to securely park the bike in the garage over the winter months.
This Maxxtow wheel chock automatically locks the front wheel into place when rolled into chock. Safely secures motorcycle wheel for transport or storage. Mounts securely to truck bed, trailer or floor.
Enables one person to easily load and strap down motorcycle. Fits most standard motorcycles.
Well so far so good. Mounted it in my trailer yesterday, have not yet put the bike in it but it seems sturdy. Mounting was challenging as there are four plastic bushings that must be lined up between the mounting plate and the trailer floor and then it all bolts in from underneath the floor of the trailer.
I finally used some grease to “stick” the business to the plate so I could get the bolts in place. The packaging for the hardware was broken open and the nuts and washers were loose in the box. There was a hole in the corner of the box but thankfully no hardware was missing.
Bought this to mount on a trailer to tow a bike to Myrtle beach. It is very wide so I thought it would work good for my 130 front tire which is not that wide of a front tire for a street bike. The problem is that the front of the chock comes to a point instead of being rounded and the tire gets wedged into the point and it squeazes and pinches the side wall of the tire, to the point that I think it may damage the sidewall.
If it was wide all the way to the front and rounded it would be fine, but it is not. Also my rotors were touching the chock slightly, but that is easily fixed by putting a piece of wood under the tire.
It probably will work for dirt bike tires or very thin street bike tires, but they have to be thinner than 130 width. Its a shame because it looks like a good chock otherwise. I haven’t checked it on my dirtbike.
If it looks like it will work for that I will keep it. Otherwise I will send it back.

Reviews From Real Customers
Nice little chock. I use it to stop my caravan rolling forward during hitching and unhitching. I need to release the handbrake on the caravan to wiggle the caravan onto the towbar, but it tends to roll forward as soon as the handbrake is released.
This keeps it in one place during hitching and unhitching.
Decent cheap wheel chock for light duty use. Knocked a star off because of the rope handle. No matter what I think of this the handle is terrible. But it chocks the trailer. Nice and yellow so I pick it up after.
A must-have item to help keep your bike upright while tying down your precious ride. Chock mounts directly to your floor or truck bed with supplied hardware. Adjustable self-locking chock works on tires up to 6-1/2 in.
wide. Heavy-duty steel construction for years of service. Four-position locking pin prevents accidental roll backs. One person operation.
Fits my Road King tire great, but my Wide Glide has a narrow tire so it doesn’t fit tight on the back cradle. They should make a smaller back cradle so you can switch out the cradle when hauling a bike with narrow tires.
Then you wouldn’t need to buy two different ones, just the extra cradle.
I needed this to secure my Harley Ultra Classic in a 14 foot enclosed trailer for our winter trip from Alberta to LA and back. It works perfectly with the bike and I wouldn’t have attempted this trip using just tie-downs.
It’s strong and simple to install but the only drawback is that it’s not easily removed if you need the trailer for anything else.
Used it for the first time recently. Once installed it performed as advertised. Installation took about 30 minutes. Accommodates wheel sizes 17” to 21”, so check your wheels before purchasing. I was not able to use the locking pin as it would not clear the rim of my wheel, but it works fine without it.
Width, Motorcycle, Kit – Transporting, storing, and servicing motorcycles or ATVs becomes a much easier task when you’re using Pingel removable wheel chocks. These rugged steel “stabilizers” are chrome plated and available for various tire widths; hardware is included for mounting the chocks onto various surfaces, particulary trailers.
You should always secure your front wheels in a sturdy, upright positon with Pingel removable wheel chocks.
3. 5″ was too narrow for my moped. 6. 5″ would be too wide? I make it work by expanding the width to 4″, how? we bent it. Made it work. This unit is for mounting on a wood floor. We made it work on a metal floor.
We use our trailer for many different things and need to be able to adjust on the go. The Pingle Wheel Chock lets us do just that! We usually carry one motorcycle but sometimes carry two, so I needed a chock that would be easy to move around for whatever configuration I needed, and be removable so I could have unrestricted access inside the trailer when not transporting our motorcycles! Perfect product for us at a reasonable price!!.
I was amazed at how easy this motorcycle chock is to install. The mounts are flush to the floor so they do not get in the way once the chock is removed. This product looks great, is very sturdy, and works nicely.
I highly recommend. I saw this for about $10 more in a store so the price here is very reasonable.
This steady and reliable motorcycle wheel chock mounts securely to your floor, truck or trailer to hold your bike during transport or maintenance. The chock itself is made of formed steel with carbon steel hardware and thermoplastic end caps for added durability and fits most motorcycle wheels.
I have several large bikes (HD) and needed another wheel chock to support a bike in the upright position so i can do maintenance etc. I have other wheel chocks made by others and are “very” similar in design so when I saw this wheel chock at this price point, I thought it was a no-brainier.
Keep in mind that I have been using the other wheel chocks for years as a shop tool (not bolted to anything) to assist me in bike maintenance with no issues at all. I roll the bike onto the chock, do what i need to do and pull the bike off.
been doing this for years with no issues. Here is the issue I had with the PITTSBURGH wheel chock. I first looked at reviews and videos from other people to see how they used and assembled there wheel chock and what bikes they used with the wheel chock.
I assembled the wheel chock, compared it to the others I have and thought to myself that this is a good deal, they are almost exactly the same in design. I rolled the bike onto the wheel chock, it held the bike with no issue, I did the maintenance to the bike and when I tried to pull the bike OFF the chock (here is where we have a problem) the tire of my bike is obviously somewhat wedged into the front tube and when I pulled the bike back to remove it from the wheel chock, the chock did not stay planted on the ground but rolled upwards staying connected to the tire and the tube became lodged between the front tire and the fender (keep in mind that I am sitting on the bike and can not see the chock very well because of the front fairing etc.
) Once I realized what just happened, I was able to push the bike forward and the wheel chock rolled with the front tire and planted it self flat on the ground again. I got off the bike to figure out how this happened.
Here is what I found. Basically the only difference between my old wheel chocks and this PITTSBURGH wheel chock is the base, the steel base that is painted Black on the PITTSBURGH chock. The old wheel chocks have a base that extends further on the entry side so when the tire is pivoting from “entering the chock” or “exiting the chock” the base supports the weight of the bike as it transitions the weight over the pivoting wheel-cradle.
If the base was 4″ to 5″ longer (as the others are) this would not have happened. I welded a steel bar in a “U” shape which protrudes out/under the pivoting wheel-cradle which fixed this issue. I do not think this wheel chock was designed to be used as I am using it? If it was bolted down to something, this would not happen.
That is not how I use these chocks. If you plan to bolt this wheel chock to a trailer of service lift etc. it works great and the price is good. If you plan to use it as I do, be careful, it may bite you like it did me.
Bought this for pulling my bagger (Harley FLHT) down to Florida from Northern Indiana this last February. placed on trailer floor about where I thought it should be, rode the bike up on it, did not move a mm, and was not bolted down.
Adjust to where I wanted it, spot drilled thru holes, removed bike and chock and anchored it with four carriage bolts thru the plywood floor. Ran bike back up into wheel chock, and was pleasantly surprised at how stable the 950 lb of bike was.
Strapped down and took for a 20 mile trip, perfect. After 890 miles, straps still perfectly tight, bike had not moved at all. I am extremely pleased with this wheel chock. Yes, some things from HF are kinda on the flimsy side, but this wheel chock is very well built, regardless of the fact it was under $50.
I have read some of these reviews stating that the “bike seemed kinda wobbly, and that it fell over during the night”. Of course it will, these are meant to be mounted to either a trailer/ truck bed, a floor, or at least a piece of plywood.
This is just common sense. This is a great tool if you have to haul your bike, I highly recommend it.
Pingel 3. 5 Remvble Whl Chock The Pingel Wheel Chock secures a motorcycle on your trailer, and is quick and easy to remove. If you use your vehicle for more than just motorcycle hauling, this is the hot ticket.

in stalled in the toyhualer worked great quick to remove so have a flat floor to use for other things just set a rug over the pins and e tracks works great will set up later for two bikes and will get the same wheel chocks.
This wheel chock snaps into your floor-mounted E-track or X-track so you can stabilize your motorcycle on your trailer. Secure the wheel with a tie-down strap (sold separately). Steel construction is strong and corrosion resistant.
Great wheel chock, AFTER I beat the base straight to get it to fit into the X Track. Seems sturdy and holds my bike well! I still need to road test it but it is a good solid heavy metal chock. I will purchase another!!.
Perfect for the garage, the track, or transporting between the two, the Trackside Roll-On Wheel Chock does it all. Features and Benefits Mounting available for required mounting to a trailer or truck bed for transport or floor for storage.
Black powder coated heavy-duty tubular frame. Pre-drilled holes allow chock to be bolted to either floor or trailer to prevent movement while being worked on or transported. Suitable for motorcycles with up to 95mm wide front tyres.
Seems solid but unfortunately it does not work with our Piaggio Liberty scooter which has the narrower wheels. Also, if you use the mounting plates. Then this raises the front of the chock so it catches on the disk brake.
All in all this is not fit for the purpose intended. It may be OK on larger machines with perhaps a fatter tyre.
I have a factory built 1 bike trailer that’s had 2 extra channel’s fitted to allow 3 bikes to be carried I’ve used this wheel chock to aid carrying my sons oset on my trailer x4 holes drilled and installed with the hard wear supplied in the kit.
Pic attached I reversed mounted it as I have another wheel chock mounted facing the same way for the back wheel this allows me to roll the bike forward and lift off.
Manufactured from durable, powder-coated steel with rubber ends to prevent sliding Secures and holds a motorcycle in the upright position Single person loading and unloading Adjusts to 2 positions and fits tires from 16″-17″ Use as a free-standing floor stand or mount to the floor (mounting hardware not included) The Black Widow Deluxe Motorcycle Wheel Chock is designed for optimal stability and ease of use.
This wheel chock can be used as a free-standing floor stand, or it can be mounted to a flat surface with your choice of hardware (mounting hardware not included). Incredibly user friendly, simply ride your bike into the chock and the cradle locks it into an upright position for easy maintenance and storage! With two adjustable positions, this chock accommodates motorcycle tires from 16″ to 17″.
Very sturdy and easy to put together. I can easily chock and unchock my 2020 Yamaha Tracer GT by myself. Chock holds it up on its own. My Yamaha has 17 inch tire. This is definately for 16 or 17 inch tires only.
I doubt a larger or smaller tire wound work in this chock. I like that it is mobile and can be used in grage or on my trailer.
Ordered 4/20 received 4/22! Note, it came from WI and I live in MN – still great! Packed well. No tools required. Per the Motorcyclist review (4. 5 stars) I set it up using the following recommendation: “For sportbike-standard 17-inch wheels, we found that putting the upper stop and cradle in the rearmost position provided the best support, the bike remaining stable even when rolled in at an odd angle.
” I rolled it in to the chock w/o any problems (no slippage), and it supports the bike just fine. I may try other settings, but I am more than happy with the initial setup. Removing the bike from the chock was also easy and it did not slip at all on my concrete garage floor.
Once in the chock I raised & lowered the back of the bike with my rear (Pit Bull) stand. With the chock this is now a “safe” one-person job. Also, I can now safely check my oil with the bike level. For less than $100 this was a great deal.
The chock I was looking at sold for $200+! I wish I had bought one of these years ago.
I bought this chock for my 2011 harley Davidson road king. It holds it straight up, real steady. Looks amazing easy to assemble and operate. I would definitely suggest this to anyone looking for a chock.

Installed this in the old trailer. Worked so well I transferred it to my new trailer when I sold the old one. Works great once you set it up correctly. If you use it as is, you’ll need one or two good friends to help unload.
1. I put a short two by four into the end of the chuck because it’s so narrow, it pinches the tire making it difficult to remove. 2. I moved the hinge to the lowest setting, otherwise, I had to use a lever to get the bike out of the chuck.
With this step, the 2×4 becomes optional. 3. I put a piece of plywood under the base otherwise the thing sits on the 4 screw pegs. Just being overly cautious. After that, the bike endured a ton of bumps and corners with no problems.
It’s great to just ride on and get off THEN attach the straps.
This is a great choice for a motorcycle chock. You just can’t beat what you get for the price. I have been very pleased. I mainly haul my 02 R1 back and forth to the track and it has stood up fantastic.
When asked to look for negatives I really couldn’t find one. It’s easy to install (bolts right up to your trailer) but the finish may be a little cheap. Nothing to make you pick something else. I highly recommend this chock for any motorcycle trailer.
I have even had people tell me that they use this chock to keep a bike standing in the paddock or garage (since most track bikes don’t have kickstands).
Replaced the vice on my motorcycle lift. Was difficult to vice front tire of the bike when alone and always felt insecurity upon doing such. This chock does all the work for you. Drive on and drive in.
Sits strait up and as solid as a rock. Put tie downs in place before raising bike on lift for extra security and peace of mind. Works great on all widths and profile tires on the Harley bikes in my garage.
Solid chock for an unbelievable price. Actually hard to comprehend!.
The 12-gauge plated steel construction of this solid motorcycle stand allows it to accommodate up to 1800 lb. while your bike stands in an upright position. The adjustable wheel lock fits front or rear motorcycle wheel sizes from 15 in.
to 22 in. (80-127W). and a powder coat protects the stand from rust and corrosion. Pick one up today to keep your motorcycle upright and safe when not in use! Tilting wheel adapter automatically secures motorcycleTwo eye loops for convenient strappingFree-standing design can be mounted to floor, truck or trailer bedAdjustable cradle stop to fit most motorcycle wheels Age Group: adult.
I used 4 of these inside a 26′ Uhaul truck to take 4 large motorcycles on about a 1800 mile trip. They worked very well but I learned a few things along the way. 1) Some of my bikes liked wider tie down points than the eye bolts in the stand.
2) Use a cinch strap or 2″ wide velcro strap to hold the tire in the chock (around the front vertical beam and tire) in the event the tie downs come loose. This prevents the bike from rolling out of the chock.
Doesn’t have to be super tight, just tight enough that it can’t roll back and come up. Put something soft between the strap and the rim so it doesn’t chafe the rim. 3) The little rubber nubs by the eye bolts don’t last long and tend to skid in the garage.
I used some large zip ties and cut up a piece of tire to put along the bottom of the “T” to keep it from skidding. 4) Make sure you set the rocker part so the tire drops well down in once it rolls in but not where it is almost balanced.
You want the tire to settle in so the weight of the bike helps keep in in the chock. 5) Don’t rely on just the chock itself and one set of tie downs. Secure front and rear and if possible keep the pressure toward the front so to help keep it in the chock.
Also use ratcheting ones but don’t crank it down too tight. 6) Check the bolts fairly frequently if using on/in a trailer and use Loctite or some sort of thread locking agent. 7) With a little work, you can use this with the e-track adaptor from another company that so many other companies copy.
This allows you to move the mounting position easily in the trailer to get the tongue weight correct in the trailer. The e-track sold by Harbor freight works very well with that other company’s product and saves a ton of money.
I would suggest buying their e-track clips as they are more secure for mounting tie downs and not much more money. They have some nice carabiner styled ones as. 8) I wouldn’t leave this out in the weather too long on a trailer.
After about 6 months out, I was getting some rust. I also have the competitor’s product, and while it is definitely better, I am not sure it is worth 3 times the price of this one.
The conclusion of a removable motorcycle wheel chock for a trailer is that it is a great way to secure your motorcycle while transporting it. It is easy to use and removes the need for straps or other securing methods.
It is also relatively inexpensive and can be found at most motorcycle accessory stores.
