We got this chair for my 80 year old father who passed away on the morning of 6/29/2022 at 11:00am. He never got to use his new Recliner because Handy didn’t come to put it together until 5:00pm on 6/29/2022.

But never fear; he will enjoy his new Recliner from heaven and the family will use it in his memory!!!!!!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI can’t believe I didn’t get one of these years ago! I am on the bigger side and also have back and mobility issues so getting up and down can be hard sometimes but I never really gave it much thought since I was still able to get up on my own.

I tried my mom’s one day when I threw my back out at her house and I was so impressed. It has a good strong motor, lifts you up so its easy to get on your feet and I love that the back and the foot rest are independent motors.

It makes it easier to find just the right position to get comfortable. The cushion for your head and back are nice and soft and the seat is very firm and supportive so there’s no tailbone pressure. The upholstery looks scratchy in the picture but it is actually almost fuzzy.

It was easy to put together. The only complaint I have is not buying one sooner!.

Kind of a big deal. Raymore & Flannigan technician is coming in 2 days to check it out and make things right. I have every confidence they’ll remedy the problem.

I purchased this chair through another vendor but the warranty through the manufacturer is still the same. After about a year and a half the coil spring retaining rods began to break. This is due to metal fatigue.

This chair is rated for 500 lb and I am half of that. they will warranty the parts but not ship them to you so you have to pay someone to come out and fix your chair. It is easily done by anyone who has a socket set and a few minutes.

They will not ship you the parts though hoping that you will just drop it I guess. I have emailed lane manufacturing several times.

While this recliner is large and seems very well built, the handle you pull to recline is INCREDIBLY stiff – so much so that I have to pull handle while standing next to chair and THEN climb into reclined chair.

Also disappointed that leg rest does not raise any higher than even with seat, creating like a chaise lounge effect. I needed this chair to get my legs raised UP l bit higher than my hips. Not the comfort I was looking for.

Footrest could use more padding as well. Thinking of returning it. Won’t buy a recliner without actually sitting in it again. My bad.

Very comfortable chair. I love that the head rest is adjustable so that I gives you the support just where you need it. You can recline the chair and still be up right to read or watch tv. Reclining is also very comfortable.

Well, I wanted to be fair, and have used this chair for several months. I am quite dissatisfied with the chair, and will be returning it to Walmart just as soon as I figure out how to do it. I purchased the chair and a service policy online, and it took four or five tries just to get the order placed.

That should have been a warning, but I persisted and the big box with the chair parts arrived on my front doorstep a few days later. OK – opened the box, and everything looks fine. Read the instructions and all of the parts needed for assembly were there.

The chair parts didn’t fit together too well, but with some perseverance I was finally able to get all of the bolt holes and padded back, seat and sides together. The ottoman portion of the chair does not work like a traditional recliner, and has a black plastic handle on the lower right side of the chair that you lift forward and up to raise the lower section so you can rest your legs.

Weird, and not easy to actuate. Now – the recliner feature – FAIL. The chair doesn’t actually recline, but it will tilt back if you apply pressure to the chair back. And as soon as you lean forward, the chair springs forward with you.

Not a recliner – more of a spring back chair. There is a small plastic knob on the left side of the chair that is evidently there so you can “lock” the reclined chair in position. FAIL. That never worked, as the locking force of the knob is easily overwhelmed by the spring back nature of the chair.

Hoo-boy. this was getting tiresome. I really wanted a recliner, not a tilting chair (that does not tilt back more than 15 degrees or so. ) that is darn near useless. So I thought that maybe this chair could be used as an office chair.

FAIL. The height is not adjustable, and after a couple of weeks use the chair started squeaking as the metalwork supports are not well designed or made. A close inspection of the weldments indicates very low quality welds, and general low quality.

Yes – the chair was made in PRC (People’s Republic of China) but that is no excuse for the poor design and lack of execution in manufacturing. Can you tell that I’m not happy about this purchase? I spent about $300 for the chair and warranty and tax.

Not a good value if the total price was $150, or even $50. Lastly, the base of the chair is a round metal disk, which leaves a hula=hoop shaped crush mark on the carpet, so even the chair’s interaction with the floor is a.

FAIL. I hope this review will help other potential buyers avoid problems and false expectations. This chair might be OK for a basement area so kids can watch TV or play video games, and if you paid less than $75 for the chair.

For what it was advertised, and what I paid – this “Coaster Leatherette Swivel Rocker” is a FAIL. My next call will be to Walmart. com to arrange a return. Sigh.

I tried to return it but they wouldn’t hear of it. I’ve been a customer for 10 years, bought all of my appliances and TV’s from them, never again will I give them my money. If customer loyalty means nothing when the show room has old furniture.

Having the ability to raise my legs/feet and bring my back/head forward ALONG with the lumbar back adjustment is BEYOND WONDERFUL!!!! I highly recommend this to everyone (whether or not you have back issues).

IšverstiShow in original languageThis recliner is not very comfortable. The seating cushion is very thin and makes for a hard seat. The arms do not fit well, they are very low, just above the seat height.

Another problem is the headrest and lumbar adjustments return every time you close the recliner so each time you recline you have to adjust them back to where you want them. It is always a risk buying a recliner you have not sat in.

Had I sat in this I would never have bought it. If it wasn’t so difficult I would have returned it. Lesson learned.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’ve suffered with sciatica and have been searching for a comfortable recliner for quite some time. The sales rep at Ashley also happened to be a personal trainer, and led me straight to this chair.

It’s perfect! I’m so pleased. It fully adjusts in tiny increments so I get just the right position and level of comfort for my needs. It is well made, large and “cushy”. I love the beautiful leather upholstery and rich color.

I can tell it will last me for a very long time and I’m so happy with my purchase and thankful to my sales rep.

My husband just loves the chair. He slept on a couch before because of snoring and twitching. He doesnt snore as much and sleeps better. I notice he’s napping more and more soundly. He loves all the features.

Only complaint is no place for remotes except outside chair. Maybe put small pockets on inside arms of chair. Then he won’t lay on them.

Nothing but problems with MedMart from the day it was delivered. Now it’s not even a year old and the motor stopped running completely. Fortunately our ELDERLY mother wasn’t stuck in the chair with no way to get out.

We have been calling and emailing MedMart since JUNE 1, 2020 for service repair. They gave instructions “over the phone”to try to reset. Nothing worked! So I had to pay another $95. 00 for a new remote to try, per their next recommendation.

Still the chair didn’t respond. Our repeated calls to MedMart started again with many, many messages left on their machines from me and other family members. Calls not returned and if we did reach a person we all got the same “empty promises” to send repair service.

Same empty promises were told to each of us a minimum SEVEN DIFFERENT TIMES. Nothing!!! Then on SUNDAY,JUNE 28TH repair service came—- He was there only 10-15 minutes and said the motor was “gone” and the parts he needed to repair it had to be ordered.

Then he added that since they were “overseas” he no idea when they would be here. The chair was made in OHIO, USA, that’s why we chose this make and model??? We paid nearly $2000. 00 for this lift chair (with delivery & “white glove service”) for our elderly mother in good faith that she would have a durable, reliable lift chair AND SERVICE TO MATCH.

Here we are today. JULY 6, 2020. her lift chair sets there still disabled with not even a clue as to when parts will arrive or when it will be repaired. Warranty runs out next month. We were told they only have ONE REPAIR MAN AND HE MUST COVER FIVE STATES.

This is unacceptable and very irresponsible of this company. Calls to the PRESIDENT OF THE COMPANY also were unreturned and ignored. We know that will will NEVER buy from MedMart again and wish we had purchased locally even though they aren’t made in our great USA.

This is EXTREMELY upsetting. Especially for our dear elderly mother.

1-19-2021 Karol MacDougall The size is nice, functions work, the leather is very nice and the delivery was handled well. However, I am disappointed as the chair is not comfortable. My head hits below the upper part of the top of the chair which is very uncomfortable.

I will have to get something to support my neck. When in the zero gravity position, the chair arms end leaving my arms without support. The return/refund instructions state a leather chair cannot be returned so I am up a creek without a paddle.

I was expecting to give the $2500 chair 5 stars but it did not turn out that way.

It is definitely not a massage chair. It vibrates, very loudly. Also, the chair smells terrible and lgave me a headache. It lasted for months. I had to cover it jt to use it. After 8!months, I started feeling the heating elements in the back of the chair.

I had to put pillows on the back just to use it. I’ve had it a year and a half and I’m replacing it and it’s going in the trash. Customer service was good in that they did refund me some of my money because of the terrible smell.

I don’t understand the positive reviews for this ‘massage’ chair.

The chair has a terrible smell that lasted for weeks. So strong that I had to cover the chair just to sit in it or my clothes would smell like the chair. It doesn’t massage, it vibrates, very loudly.

It also only heats on the back only. After only six months, I can feel the lumps and bumps from the vibrating and heating elements and it isn’t comfortable. I am 5’3″ and weigh 115 pounds and only sat in it at night when I watched tv and the faux leather has already cracked.

I had it for a year and it’s already in the trash. I definitely would not recommend and wouldn’t have purchased it if I sat in it first.

I purchased this chair for my grandson for Christmas. He is 15 and only 100 lbs. He dearly loves this chair and sits in it while playing his games. He did not get it until January and has not been rough with it at all nor has anyone else heavy sat in it.

It has already come apart at the seam of the seat which allowed air that I guess was used inside the seat to cushion and I suppose help with the heat or massage or something and so now the seat is flat.

It has a very short warranty and since it was a gift and I bought in November because I have 5 grandkids to buy for but he did not get it to use til January so that means it only lasted a couple of months! For me it was an expensive gift and I never dreamed it would only last 2 months before it came apart and was rendered useless.

Please be aware as I hate for anyone else to have this happen to them. I work too hard for my money to spend $250 on a chair that should certainly not come apart like it did.

This recliner is nice. I’ve paid twice the amount for other chairs and this one is just as nice. It looks and feels like it cost a lot more. I didn’t know I was ordering a power chair, but now that I’ve got it, that’s nice, too.

The mechanism is smooth and really easy to operate. It goes from a totally upright position easily to a totally flat position with a simple push of the button. You can stop the button at any time when you’re at the position you want.

The chair comes in two pieces. The bottom/seat section is heavy, as it should be for stability. I put the chair together by myself with one simple step…insert the metal tabs on the chair back into the metal slots on the back of the seat.

The recliner is impressive, especially for the cost. I will probably buy a second one soon.

Comfortable, yet is in a classic traditional style. The grey fabric is soft .comfortable and warm. The controls placed on the side arm are excellent. USB port is convenient. Excellent choice for me.

I bought the matching sofa and 2 recliners. The sofa if fine however, my 2 recliners (both levelled) have tipped over numerous times leaving Me on the ground and one of the times I smacked my head on the table.

They are not stable and you will tip over. I am very scared that I am gonna get seriously injured. I am 6 ft, 1″ and weight 185 lbs, so I’m not overweight. This is super scary. I definitely would not recommend the recliners.

I certainly fear for safety.

Beautiful recliner. Leather color is better than any of the photos. With FREE delivery, we were pleased with the way the recliner was packaged so damage was highly unlikely. Putting the legs on was easy.

Putting the back and base together was pretty easy. Great recliner for a good price. Also arrived a week early with the delivery man sending a text with each stop ( we were 4th that morning). When we got the notice that he was leaving stop 3 he sent a text that he would arrive in 25 minutes and he actually did.

We bought two of the chairs and we like them really well. The shopping experience at NFM was so easy. The salesman Eric knew his merchandise and was very helpful. The price was good, they had both chairs in stock and the pickup was very efficient.

This is one of my many purchases from Bob’s and I have enjoyed them all. I now look forward to enjoying my living room set with the amenities of power recliners and charger station. It is so comfortable and attractive.

I really like this recliner as it is comfortable and fits in with my mix of Country furniture. There are a couple extras that I really love, a USB outlet on the side of the chair right below the buttons for reclining.

It is a wall hugger type recliner so you only need about 6 inches between wall and chair back for placement. One other thing I really like is the width of the chair and the wider and slighter curve of the arms makes it easy to rest a phone, or TV remote or even an iPad on.

The design helps to not have items fall off the sides of arms when not using them all the time.

This chair is one of the worst chairs I have ever purchased. The seat is as hard as concrete and forms a hole at the rear making it very hard to get out of. If this chair has memory foam in the construction, I sure don’t know where it is! You can not raise the leg rest level without the back going down.

Most of all, the back is most uncomfortable and is way too short, leaving no support for the head from the neck up. I have to use an extra bed pillow for proper support. Again, a bad chair. I would gladly exchange this chair for another power chair with more positions available and one that is easier to sit in.

The purchase of two matching recliners has been a nightmare since we walked into Conns back in February. First, they had us down to purchase two different recliners. Second, they did not have two of the same recliners anywhere near Texas.

We had to wait over three months. Then they want to deliver on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND while we are out of town. You cannot respond the email they send to confirm delivery. We get home to put our recliners together.

One of the slates under one recliner is busted and the fabric is already coming undone due to tacking not being secured.

This chair is so comfortable and I love the massage and heat function. The build and quality is unsurpassed and I would recommend this item in a heartbeat.

I love the chair EXCEPT it is very difficult to close it down. I am elderly and disabled and I can not manually kick the legs down … I literally hold down the legs and stand up … as I step away, the legs pop back up … and I must mention that the legs do not lock in place because I can’t force it back.

If you are not concerned about reclining often, it’s a great chair. I may have save up for an automatic recliner and give this one to my son … I’m sure he’ll enjoy it.

My husband loves the recliner to two cup holders was what made the deal lol. Our salesperson was very helpful and showed us lots of recliners in our price range nothing clicked until he showed us this one my husband loved it.

I am very happy with my new chair. The fabric and the color work well with my other furniture. My only dislike is that it can be a bit of a struggle to get it into a fully reclined position.

I bought this chair just over a week ago and still breaking it in. This chair is called the Catnapper, I find it so comfortable that I fall asleep in it. The heating has low, med, & high, I have used the low setting a few times.

The only problem I have with this chair is my ankles and feet hang over the footrest when reclining, I am only 5’4”.
