20 Best Protein Powder For Muscle Gain Men (2023 Updated)

I bought this because there was a good circle offer on it. I have had many different kinds of protein shakes, none of which I could really drink straight up. They always needed at least some fruit. I need to get more protein because I have something going on in my tum that makes me full after a couple of bites of something.

From past experience I decided to have this with milk instead of water. So glad that I did! Not only is this was the tastest shake I have ever had, it is also the smoothest and leaves no powder sticking to the side of the shaker cup at all.

Hands down this is a winner and I will keep buying it. The vanilla is delicious enough that I don’t feel the need to try the others. And, and, and it also keeps me fuller for much longer that the others I have tried! Not everything is for everybody.

Usually I pour hours into researching and reading reviews. Sometimes you just need to try it. Think for yourselves, try new things, and never, ever tell people not to buy something because you didn’t like it.

It’s pathetic.

This is the first one I have ever tried. I bought it solely because of the somewhat cheaper price and 50g of protein seemed like a lot. I noticed tremendous progress while using this. I personally think it taste a lot better in milk than water.

Sprinkling it over ice cream is also a good way to add it. It never fully seems to dissolve but it doesn’t taste terrible when you get a unmixed part. I have just kept on buying this since I have no major complaints, so I have not tried anything else.

But, I would recommend this.

NOTE: this is a meal replacement as WELL as a protein drink, so when considering it for fat loss. GREAT product. I’ve been using it for YEARS! Great taste (use enough vs. water, read the label for how many calories per scoop to work with your diet plan).

Drink minutes after a workout (before your metabolism settles down), never before, as anything in your stomach takes energy/blood to digest and takes away from your workout (try a pre-workout drink for that).

As is a protein as WELL as a meal replacement, it does have MORE calories than straight (whey. for example) protein. So consider that. Don’t take in the evenings close to bed (again. calories), if weight/fat loss is the goal.

I like this product very much. It tastes so good. So good I do have to discipline myself to use it only when I should, and regular protein (ugh in taste) the other times.

Well, I took a step outside this personal policy to buy something I’ve never tried before, and that was a 5lb jug of B. P. I Whey-HD Milk & Cookies flavor, w/ 3 7 serving jugs of their banana flavor Whey-HD.

This is a thread about buyer’s remorse. Upon receiving it, I was excited to try a new flavor. My favorite ice cream is Cookies and Cream so this seemed like a natural fit. Wrong. Hands down, it’s the worst protein I’ve ever tasted.

Even unflavored whey is a controversial step up from this. It states very clearly, “Supplement Information,” on the label, which had I known I would have never gotten it. That means they’re subject to zero oversight and anything could be in this.

It’s not food, like protein should be, this is just another shady supplement that the US government can’t even approve with it’s lax standards. It doesn’t blend. I’ve spent a solid 5 minutes shaking in a shaker bottle and it’s still chunky, every single time.

Anything short of a blender means chunks of aweful tasting protein, gooey on the outside and dry on the inside, with no way to avoid this gag inducing taste spreading over the tongue. It’s horrible, and I’m stuck with a 5lb jug which I have to consume because I’m a poor college kid and I can’t afford to just throw this away.

I mean, frack, I feel like I should be getting paid to consume this, it’s a trial and if I chug it, I’m in a cold sweat by the time it’s down. If I sip it, it takes two hours because each sip after the one prior takes more and more will power to down it.

I mean, what the frack, I have never, ever, had something so poorly produced from every single aspect. This is a 3 out of 10. It doesn’t have maggots and it’s conveniently packaged, which is why it gets a 3.

For the taste, minus 3. For the lumpiness, minus 2. For the label being, “supplement info,” vs, “nutrition facts,” minus 2. Don’t buy this folks. You’re gonna have a bad time.

The product taste great, easily blends, and arrived in a decent time from the warehouse. If the main ingredient in their blend was whey protein isolate, this would be 5 stars; however, the main ingredient is whey concentrate.

Add to it shipping charges, this product is overpriced for its quality. They should also display the macros on the website. They don’t. Although this product is only modestly higher in fat content than some of its competitors(negligible honestly and under many others as well).

transparency is important, and other products that also do not display macros are extremely high in fat(ie protein bars, wow!) I gave it 4 stars for taste, mixability. but. could’ve easily been 3 stars.

Texture: mixes extremely well into hot/warm oatmeal with no curdles! Taste: not overly sweetened like other products that JF offers; this is a perfect balance of flavor profiles with NO artificial flavoring Results: no bloat!! this is really important to me while on contest prep and I can feel confident in having this mixed into my final meal :).

I am not here because I was asked to, I am here leaving a review because I feel like newcomers that stumble onto JACKEDFACTORY should feel like they don’t have to take a risk in buying the product. That being said.

This WHEY PROTEIN is honestly this BEST tasting formula I’ve EVER tried and I’ve tried various company’s and flavours. It’s got the right ingredients to keeps its proper sugars. It taste and smells EXACTLY like it’s supposed to.

I’d never ever consider protein shakes with just water because it clumps up or just doesn’t have a pleasant taste. Although JACKEDFACTORY managed to have me take 2 scoops of this with water with NO PROBLEMS.

No clumps, easy to shake, flavour doesn’t taste watered down. It kept its consistency and proper balance. I CANT WAIT FOR THE ISOLATE. As it is more suited for my type of goals. But for the mean time this is an industry killer once it gets out there to the world.

What I didn’t know when I bought this Muscle Milk, it is not the same as the Muscle Milk in the Bottles. The required amount to mix for the default protein content is half what is mixed from the bottles, but for me, the taste compared to the protein from the bottle doesn’t compare.

I was mixing bottle protein with 2% milk. The finished product was much creamier, much smoother, and to me, much preferred over the 5lb, canister Muscle Milk. FYI.

The 25G protein Muscle Milk offers a great value due to the number of serving s per container. Given the current situation it is more important than ever to have a non perishable protein supply. It’s good by itself and great with frozen fruit blended into a smoothie.

and with the shelf life of a Twinkie, you won’t have to stress about food security.

This is my second time using Muscle Milk. I like that it’s all protein. This 5lb bag is the way to go because protein is expensive. This has helped me to gain the muscle I’ve needed. I have added size and weight according to my fitness goals while taking this.

I’ve tried a lot of products. Muscle milk is going to be what I order for protein! I’ve been in fitness for more than 20 years.

I only used the product for a short time so I have to weight to see results. Product has a good taste and is great with water. You don’ t have to use milk to have a great taste. You have to use 4 scoops to get the 630 calories.

So buying two at one time is best so you can mature over at least a two week period.

Price is a little bit higher than Im used to but I recommend the product

Muscle Tech didn’t disappoint with this whey protein with muscle builder. It mixes very well, which in my experience with protein powders, is rare. I use a regular shaker bottle with water and after vigorously shaking there were hardly any bubbles and the powder was throughly mixed.

A lot of vanilla powders have an oddly chemical taste about them, but not this one. It tastes like vanilla ice cream and I’m not mad about it. I’ve been using it as a post workout like the labelling suggests and I have definitely been feeling less sore the day after.

My one and only gripe about this powder is the packaging. The bottle has an aluminium seal which is great; but there was no tab to pull it off. After grasping at the edges I decided to just puncture it and tear from there.

This sent an aluminium shard into the powder which I was able to remove with some poking with a spoon. Overall very impressed with the product. Happy to have found a powder that is clean, tastes clean, and mixes perfectly.

At home I have 2 men that are now in multiple sports clubs at school and kinda picky but with this whey protein shake they doing fine. It’s chocolate and each of them love this. Flavor is super chocolate and they just prep it in the blender and get it ready before practice and it keeps there energy up and its in a safe way.

They love that they can add fruits the smoothie and the taste is still so good. It’s like drinking a chocolate smoothie with added benefits. This is one brand my dad use and now his grown grandkids are using for exercises and sport practices like there granddad recommend.

This is the best protein powder I have ever had! It tastes amazing-just like a brownie! And, there is no bad aftertaste. The packaging is attractive and you are able to verify authenticity using the sticker on the lid.

Each scoop contains 160 calories, which is perfect for me. It also contains low enough sugar and fat contents for my needs. It has a great amount of protein in each serving-60 percent! There are also amino acids and creatine as well.

This mixes easily with water and, on an empty stomach, this will fill me up for about 3 hours. I love this stuff and will be purchasing more as needed.

I have the cookies and cream flavor. it tastes amazing and mixes very easily. no digestion issues. a nice blend of 2 different proteins. I have this before bed time. the label tells you absolutely everything.

I am on my fourth container. It mixes super easy, taste great! I add it to my cereal in the morning mixed in water and tastes really good. Best of all are the added ingredients, which are ABSOLUTELY NONE!!! Nothing but open label of protein.

Trashing it unfortunately. The taste is overpowering with some sort of artificial sweetener. Unfortunately, my fault due to being hospitalized, I was unable to get to a return request within 14-days and they were unwilling to compromise to return 1 of the 2 containers.

One was opened and that does not qualify for a return. So. try someone else’s before you order! Once open you’re stuck and there is zero flexibility with their policies which tells you something. you can’t guarantee your product it’s gotta be icky Ricky!.

I have used this product more than one and half month it’s good but sometime it’s will make a little bit of problem with gas are stomach problem but it just for two or three days after that when your body make it as your path it will be e the best for you.

Good product …using it for one year …and there is no feeling of bloating and indigestion ever occurred

I’m 42yrs old and I’ve been lifting weights for around 24yrs. I’ve always found it hard and time consuming to get in enough protein in my daily life. Then I found out I was lactose intolerant but also developed extremely bad re-flux issues which more than likely will need eventual surgery in the coming years.

So this made a number of issues for me in getting and keeping down my protein intake in and it also affected my weight training as I became nauseous after 15-20mins or exercise. So after a lot of time and effort I was sadly forced to quit the gym, try other activities for fitness but nothing measured up, and I put on 20kg of bad weight.

A friend one day introduced me to X3 and fortagen and after not being able to train for around 3years I was ready to try anything. So I did and found I could finally move on and do what I loved doing again, just in a different way and in 10-20mins too.

I’m 11weeks in using X3, fortagen and having a carnivore approach to my eating and I’ve currently lose just over 10kgs or around 22pounds. I’m going to lose another 10kgs to reach my goal and continue this life style change to become permanent.

My health is getting better and my doctor even told me from some recent blood tests that I’m in perfect health. And because of the short training period I could train everything and with minimal nausea.

I won’t lie, this stuff doesn’t taste that great but the mango is the best and easiest to put down. Plus the longer period of time you take it the easier it gets to consume. I’ve tried all the other flavors and I just had issues getting them down, so I would never get them again lol.

But I really can’t believe the difference in taking this and having no/minimal soreness the day after training, it was unbelievable. Just wish this had been available 20+ years ago, I wouldn’t have wasted my money on anything else.

So if your thinking about getting some and if it’s actually worth it? It’s 150% worth it, just order it and you’ll never look back, just make sure it’s mango flavored haha. I can’t wait for some more interesting flavors that rival this or better it.

I started with the equipment end of January 2022. It took some getting used to partly due to my age(69) and some existing physical and stamina issues. I had lost 60 pounds Before getting the equipment, that said I was already following the basic diet strategy suggested in Dr Jaquin’s book.

I decided to add the Fortagen in February ish, because of nutritional debate over age related hormone levels that Dr Jaquin claims in his book will be overcome using the program and equipment as he describes it in the book and videos.

I truly believe I am one of the 25% that he says in the book Never get any benefit from lifting weights. I’ve been lifting weights working out, jogging for well over 50 years with really nothing to show for it as he describes in his book.

To the point, I have been taking one scoop a day at night before bed as per the instructions. It’s my opinion I am actually seeing results from the combination of the workout and the Fortagen. Obviously they go together and any review must address the fact I can’t review just the Fortagen as I don’t use it alone, but take it in conjunction with the whole exercise program.

I am actually seeing results!! I have distinct muscle groups appearing in my Forearms I never had before and I am experiencing bicep/tricep growth that is better than any results I ever had before. I really only have about four months of experience with the program and Fortagen I can address at this time.

To date, I am very, very pleased with my results. I have to say here I have yet to really get to a consistent 6 day work out. 4 days sometimes 5, not the recommended 6 days. It’s been a lot for me, however, I am getting there.

I think by this months end I’ll be at the six days consistently. I do see really really good results so far as stated. If it continues as it has been and I stick to it as I have been doing, diet, X-3 and Fortagen believe that at the end of this year I’ll really have something to show for my efforts as well as something to intelligently discuss based on real experience.

I would like to add this tid bit, I did email them several times with a lot of repetative questions. They have been super helpful and supportive and very pleasant and friendly to deal with. The only Con I will add here is, I wish the Fortagen didn’t have the amount of sweetener in it that it does.

I still get it down ok, but it’s way to sweet for me personally. I don’t know what it tastes like without it, maybe it’s the only way they can make it to meet all their criteria ?? The chocolate raspberry flavor seems to be the best tasting one so far.
