If I had to be BRUTALLY HONEST. I would say this is by far THE BEST iPad Pro 12. 9 inch (2017) case I have ever purchased!!! Came in brand new packaging. Super easy to put on and take off. Very protective.

I thought the stand would collapse if I were to put it on my bed BUT that didnt happen. This is such a perfect case. Im definitely ordering another one in a different color. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Even typing this review ,the stand is holding up.

This was my second Poetic Revolution for iPad Pro 12. 9. A fall from the arm of my recliner broke the kickstand support on my first one. This is why I’m giving it 4 stars rather than 5. The kickstand support should be made with metal tabs rather than plastic.

It should have survived a 22 inch fall. But despite this weakness, overall this has been a great case. Fits perfectly, all button covers are integrated and function perfectly. All access ports are covered with tabs that fit firmly, seal well and stay closed, but the ports remain easily accessible.

My only other gripe is with the integrated plastic screen protector. I learned on my first Poetic Revolution, the plastic used for this protector is easily scratched by repeated finger use. It quickly developed wear lines and cloudy areas where I tend to swipe and scroll.

I wound up just removing the integrated plastic screen protector, and placing a tempered glass screen protector on my iPad before installing it back into the case. It would be an advantage if Poetic would use this approach.

Drop the integrated protector and instead place a silicone or rubber seal along the edges of the screen to provide a seal between the case and screen.

I bought 8 of them for my classroom iPads (6th Gen). None of the cases fit like they are supposed to. It’s next to impossible to get the rubber seal to lock onto the case. I would not recommend buying.

Here’s the thing. This case look cool, and the idea is smart. The problem is that it doesn’t work. As a case, sure, it should protect the iPad quite well, at least as long as the screen isn’t impacted by the corner of something.

It’s nice and padded and thick, and I’d hand my kids the iPad in this. The draw is supposed to be the “hands”, though, which are supposed to be used to either turn it into a stand to rest upright or to attach it to the headrest in a car.

They need to grip well and stay exactly where they’re placed to achieve that end result, and they simply don’t. They pop off with almost no effort, and do not either hold the iPad upright reliably nor do they hold it in place when trying to mount it in a car.

Not very well thought-out or implemented, despite being a potentially cool design. It should be noted that I received this as a free sample review unit.

-Product material is good, shape and fit is just okay since it has to fit different generation and model of iPads that are just close in dimensions. -Access to the charging port, volume and power buttons is tricky.

No access to the mute/vibrate switch. -The arms/hands hold moderately to the case frame but it definitely cannot be used to keep the iPad standing up well unless you find a perfect spot. -Colors in person resemble the pictures.

-Overall conclusion is this case is good enough to protect the iPad and give it some kid personality to a mature device. However, for what it is the functions are mainly just decoration and definitely is not worth the high price it has.

Great for parents who have littles they need to keep entertained during long car rides. The iPad stayed in place and was able to be manipulated between our cars nicely. Bonus points for this having some protection from drops!.

The cover is good quality especially for the price and the magnets are solid and the case stays well and truly fixed. It’s worth noteing that mine came with the cut out for the later model camera so if you a stickler for aesthetics that might bother you.

But I just see it as an easy upgrade.

Purchased this in replacement for a similar Khomo cover ( grey) which lasted 2 years before splitting apart at the opening edge. This version is imitation carbon fibre in soft feel shiny black. These cases give excellent all round protection to your iPad and all holes for buttons/ charger port / cameras etc line up perfectly.

Magnetic cover provides auto switch off and doubles as a stand like the actual Apple product.

I wanted a nice case for my sons new I pad. I read some reviews and did some research. I decided this was the best case for the price, and Walmart had the best price on it. After I made the order, my sons friend brought his ipad over, and it had a Speck case.

I checked it out and really liked it. I liked it so much I was worried my Khomo might be a let down. It was not. The new Khomo is as good as the Speck. I can’t find any flaws, and I am very picky!.

The edges of my Apple case were beginning to fray and crumble after five years of use. My new Solo case is very well made, fits my iPad Pro perfectly, and has multiple viewing angles. Since it’s an older model, it was only $15.

With the $14 coupon that I had, the total with tax was less than three dollars.

It’s difficult to find cases for iPads of a certain age. This one works great and looks snazzy! HOWEVER, the only way to get this at a reasonable price is to get a job at the store and use your employee discount.

It fitted! It was very frustrating to not be able to find a replacement cover for my not so old model iPad but luckily it was available online and in stock and delivered very promptly!

I’ve been using the Griffon Survivor series for years and they’ve saved my iPads repeatedly from destruction. I decided to try out the slim version when I picked up my new iPad Pro. It fits well and looks much less bulky than the survivor series, but it’s been letting dust in along the bottom seam where it’s supposed to connect to a keyboard.

Also, the iPad pencil slot held my pencil securely for three days, then the glue holding the rubber seams fell off and the pencil slot became useless. I’ve already dropped my iPad once and this cover protected it.

Overall, good, but could be improved.

I went into a very large supermarket with a very large electronics department to find out what cover I should get for the screen, in addition to what the griffin survivor case came with. I had assumed it would need a additional cover where one could not see the screen.

The associate told me that the transparent plastic cover the survivor came with would be enough, since the corners had such padded rubber. “it’s better than anything we sell here. ” was his final comment with a smile.

I thought I was upgrading from my old case and the main attraction was the pencil holder. Within 2 weeks of light use the pencil holder has split, the port access points are loose and the screen sheet separates from the iPad making it less responsive.

Wish I’d kept my money and stuck with the old one.

This cover is the best design for the iPencil instead of a separate holder – thats the reason I bought it. Clear back is a novelty. Getting to standup is a trick you have to learn. Front cover is a good fit but can leave a gap unless properly placed.

Only gripe is turning the ipad off takes a lot of effort to power off as the off button cover is resistant to pressure. Note – you will also need a separate screen protector (not built in). Very slim design – I’d hate to drop the ipad from a height onto a hard surface.

Fine for being in a bag where may get scratched from other things, and looks sleek, but not for construction situations where high risk of falling.

I have Speck clear case for my iPhone 6S plus, iPhone SE and iPad Air2. The cases are very thick for the phones but not as much for the iPad. I have dropped my iPhone 6S Plus when it was in the Speck case and luckily nothing happened (it was a fall from about 3 feet).

However, I do not have the same confidence with the iPad’s case (so far I have not dropped my iPad). Also, the product mentions that this is only a case for the back of the iPad and the cover for the front is not included (but this has been mentioned in a tiny font) and I realized this only after I received the product.

This is not Speck’s mistake or problem but be aware that although the pictures show the iPad being covered on both sides, do not mistake to the case to cover both sides of the iPad.

This is just the case I was looking for. I had a candy shell case for my previous iPad and was looking for the same case for my iPad Pro. This is a similar type of case but I like the clear cover so it doesn’t change the look of your iPad.

It works beautifully with the apple keyboard and doesn’t add much bulk or weight. The edge around the screen is an softer material that feels like it will absorb impacts well. I have toddlers and need something protective on the back of my iPad.

I have used one since day 1 and my Ipad still looks like new when it comes off. The corners of the case started to disintegrate due to being dropped a number of times so it was time to replace the cover.

Imagine if the cover wasn’t there. Definitely a worthwhile purchase. A sound investment in protection for a delicate instrument. The matching keyboard that goes with it is very convenient as well and protects the glass surface and makes it one neat package.

I was a little worried that a “cheap” (inexpensive) case would properly protect my ipad and look good. I was used to paying the premium for genuine apple covers. I took a chance on this and I am very pleased! Fits like a glove, looks good and will protect my ipad mini4 well.

This is a genuine Apple silicone case in the lovely colour of Stone which pairs really well with different coloured Smart Covers. I have it paired with the Pink Sand Smart Cover and they work really well together.

The feel of the case in the hand is really nice and provides good grip for when youre reading or browsing the web.

Elegant appearance. Very precise fit. Slender. Very strong protection. Easy to use. All features present as described and work 100%. Auto sleep wake magnets are nice to have; I wouldn’t even consider a cover without this feature.

iPad is held very securely, the flip side of this is to be very careful when bending things to remove it. The adjustable stand feature only works for landscape but it still is very valuable to have. It would be cool if Speck could make it work in portrait also, but I am very happy to have this cover just the way it is.

The little spot that accomodates the charging adaptor is a loose fit and you can lose the adaptor without knowing it. It’s nothing really, but everything else is so securely held in place that one might overlook this and not realize it when the adaptor falls out.

The ink well stand can alternatively be used to hold the second tip Apple provides for their pencil. I was sweating bullets with my iPad being naked and am very happy to have it protected now in the Speck.

I spent hours reviewing different cases – I purchased three other brands in addition to the Speck case. Speck by far is the best of them all. The only thing that it didn’t have that I was looking for is a small pocket.

However the pencil protection was far more important. This Speck case is the only one I could find that protected the pencil as well. Other cases had a place to put the pencil but they were fashioned in a way that i could see the pencil falling out easily and either breaking or getting lost.

This case secures both the pad and pencil in just that right fashion. I read some reviews that said the speakers were blocked so I was a bit hesitant about that; I’m glad I went ahead and made the purchase.

Actually I putchase two cases one for me and one for my husband. After putting one ipad pro in it’s case I left the other ipad pro out of its case and compared the sound quality between the two. There is no distortion, nor reduced volume or quality.

The speaker scoops nicely direct the sound towards me, as I used to have to do with my older ipads.

I’ve used SPEC cases previously and have been very satisfied so when I upgraded to a new iPad Pro 9. 7 I immediately went an ordered this case. I had trouble with online ordering I called and placed my order.

Just before giving my credit card info I happened to see the couple of negative reviews. I questioned the rep on the phone about the fit of the case for the new iPad and was assured that the case was specifically designed for the new iPad Pro.

I took his word and completed the order. It came quickly and immediately opened. Surprisingly the listing on the packaging states iPad Air II first and then the iPad Pro. Once unwrapped I fitted the case to the new iPad only to find that the case couldn’t have been designed for this new iPad Pro.

There were the standard cutouts for the two speakers found on the older iPads and not the four found on the Pro. The camera cutout was the same. Would fit the older model but didn’t come close to the new camera configuration.

I again feel SPECK makes a quality case but disappointed with this particular case. To give SPECK the Benifit of doubt, I called to make sure I was sent the correct case and assured again the case was the right one.

SPECK understood my disappointment and had me send the case back using the prepaid return label. SPECK uses the US Postal Service which meant just handing the rewrapped package to the mailman. I would highly recommend SPECK for their line of products but just not this one.

My girlfriend loved the case for her new iPad its like the hard protection armour case, at first we didnt even know how to open it or put it on I recommend to anyone!

The case is very sleek and durable. The build quality looked better than an Otter box.

Better quality, protection, fit and feel than the $49 Apple version. Nice strong magnet in cover. Very lightweight and adds almost no bulk to the PRO. Unlike the apple version this case fits perfect and there is no loss of functionality with any of the buttons (non intrusive).

I bought this to avoid the high cost of apple products but it’s actually better. This is a rubberized version of the cover apple used to make and it works flawlessly. I also bought the apple ipro keyboard and I’m able to connect it without removing this cover which is awesome.

I only suggestion is for monoprise to make other cover colors and have a model that has a place for the Apple Pencil. Great product and value. PROS: Everything CONS: Only one color.

The case was pretty good. It adds a lot of protection to my iPad. The pen holder is in the convenient place that doesn’t make the pad thicker. I can stick the pen in one of the holes in the pen holder when I want to put it away while typing.

This reduce the chances that I would leave the pen somewhere.

Good fit – improves grip on iPad. Also works perfectly with Apple Magic Keyboard. Pencil holder is very secure.

Simple well engineered case. The only consideration I have for this particular case is the seam is not smooth, there is an edge that can be irritating to the fingers or palm at times. My previous case was seamless and more comfortable.

I was fortunate to purchase this iPad case, I can confirm that it fits the device securely protecting the back with a transparent tinted clip on fit. A flexible 3 stage flap then hinges down over the screen offering the best protection to the device as the original Apple cover had done on my old iPad.

All the buttons, camera, speakers and microphone remain accessible for normal iPad operation. It is possible to fold the cover back which is magnetic and use it to support the iPad as a veiwing screen.

I always fit a screen protector film but the back of the screen cover is soft non scratch material. i enquired about a case from Apple but they were what I considered expensive and didnt offer this level of protection.

Its so sleek and chic and practical for what? 8 bucks! It fits my 2018 iPad perfect. This case is magnetic so dont worry about it slipping off the screen. The inside panel is very soft and a huge plus is that if you fold back a small triangle, the iPad stands up.

It is so much lighter and better protected(in my purse) than when it was in my Bluetooth keyboard case. Got mine in lavender and its so simple and pretty Ps. If youre clumsy this is not the case for you.

I have an Apple smart cover for my 2012 iPad, but for the new iPad 2017 9. 7 inch, I wanted to cover the back as well. I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t bulky. Apple don’t seem to have a suitable case – very limited range for the new iPad 2017 9.

7 inch. Random online reviews each pointed to this ESR case. Love it. So slim, it’s amazing. When closed, the iPad goes into sleep mode just as with the Apple smart cover. The back is translucent and very slim – hardly noticeable.

I’ve only had it a week but it’s holding up well. I couldn’t find it in Australia, so had to order it from the UK. Worth it – every single cent. Highly recommended.

It’s a great case with well-thought out engineering and protection. Built to last and has a solid feel to it. Especially like how the screen angle is changeable in step fashion by moving the flap on the back side of the cover.

Moreover the screen angle is held in place by magnets so you can pick up and move the iPad and it won’t forget/lose the last angle used. The corners of the iPad screen are well-protected by thicker padding than that of a popular competitor (a definite weak spot for this competitor).

One area to be careful about: when you set up a screen angle for reading, it’s best not to set up the iPad on a dirty surface because any dirt (crumbs, grit, etc. ) trapped on the cover can end up on the screen when the cover is closed.

Bottom line: it’s a definite keeper.

It is too heavy and bulky. The volume buttons are blocked by this case. I can’t do it without picking up case and turning it to the side so I can find the volume buttons. is hard to open the case. It seems like a struggle to open the flap and stand.

Over magnetized? It only stands horizontal. There is no vertical option except straight up. On TikTok for example, man. y videos are best played vertically and this case doesn’t let you put it into a comfortable viewing position.

Great protection for my iPad. As durable as the Otter Box brand. Wish kickstand provided for elevation but this is not a deal breaker. This case certainly serves its purpose.

I like the way I can prop the Ipad up in my lap or on the table as I use it and the built-in stand is strong enough to hold it.

I think the angle of the handle/stand perhaps needs to be greater. The iPad just wont stay standing up on it without repeatedly falling over. Only works if it’s balanced carefully first on a table and not touched (not practical if your child wants to actually actively use it though) Maybe ours is defective, so might not be the same for everyone.

I bought the product to protect my new tab a7 tablet in the first instance, however since the product came with a keyboard which I was sceptical about how it worked and battery life etc, the product worked very well indeed, it is a dream to use, its speed is amazing with the keys just needing a little touch to operate.

it is a shame it is not backlit as this would help a lot as if the area is badly lit then it is a little hard to see the keys. The tablet is held securely in the case and a gap is ensured between the screen and keyboard through design of the retaining clips, which are protected with rubber.

The keyboard comes with a selection of layouts and is most suited to the US layout then all symbols like @,#,$,%, can be used with ease, with a UK keyboard layout then it can be tiresum to find the symbols you need.

In general the unit is comfortable and stylish to use ans am sure with other OS like windows it would perform just as well.

I bought this cover in black for my 10. 1 inch tablet as I was looking for a good shockproof cover. I find the thickness of it makes it easier to lift the tablet and also the silicon quality gives good grip to prop it up against things when using it.

I really like this cover, even though it is not an exact fit. The cover is too large for the tablet with it being universal in size so it needs to be handled carefully! A great pity that a smaller size is not available.

I found that the hand strap gives more stability when using the tablet and both it and the longer strap are of good quality. I didn’t really use the small stand but it would be useful if you were keeping the tablet in one place for a while.

As my old iPad case wore out, it was time to look for a new one. I purchased the brand that I originally used only to find that something had changed. When viewing videos or FaceTiming, I like to place the pad on my chest or stomach.

I immediately realized a significant drop in volume and found that the “speaker” ports on the new case were not designed like the previous case. The new design only allowed the sound to drop out thru the bottom of the case.

The previous design “scooped the sound FORWARD towards the viewer increasing volume and clarity. After returning the case I purchased and inspecting numerous other brands, I realized that Targus was the only brand that still utilize that feature.

Too bad for the short sightedness of those other brands. BTW, the mic ports at the top of the pad utilize that same feature also.

Like the others comments. This product is flawed. It didn’t really grip on to my device and the corners of my iPad kept coming out. They claim that it passed 4ft drop testing, but Even with the “protective†case/flap/cover for the screen it didnt protect my device for merely 3†drop.

I contacted Targus and referred to their military grade material and 4ft drop testing, but they said that “the device continued to work after the testing. We do not state that no damage occurred during testingâ€.

So if your device broke while it is fully enclosed in this “protective “ cover they will tell you that they are not liable. So if you buy this “protective†case it might or might not protect your device from any drops.

and if breaks it an “oh well†for them.

This case looks like it will protect pretty well and I like the wrap around magnetic closure. However, it doesn’t fit perfectly. It looks as if the case is a smidge too small. Also, the magnet on the closure isn’t double sided and isn’t that strong, so when I fold the case to prop my iPad up landscape style at a slight angle for reading and typing, it doesn’t hold position if I shift the iPad around.

There should be a strong magnet that locks the case into position. I had an old case that did this and I loved it, but unfortunately is no longer available. It’s manageable but I would look for something else next time.
