20 Best Products To Use With Gua Sha (2023 Updated)

I have ordered this specific gua sha twice, 2/9/2020 and 2/1/2022. RIP to both. The initial unit ordered lasted nearly two years. Joining me on countless road trips and eventually some international adventures as well.

It rested on my bathroom counter and was dropped too many times to remember. I used it almost every day and appreciated the texture as I would glide it along my skin while I followed tutorials on social media.

it was smooth to the touch but also just a smidge coarse when applied to the skin. It did its job. Its definitely the nicest gua sha I have yet to experience and its appearance is even more lovely in person.

However, it all came to an end one day when I dropped a glass container of deodorant on it and it cracked. I immediately ordered a replacement. The replacement looked almost as pretty but felt a bit lighter and had a different texture.

It did the job but wasn’t the same. It lasted two days. It fell about 3 inches from oiled hand to bathroom counter and it broke into multiple pieces. I understand that this product is not indestructible but it seems as if the quality drastically reduced during the last two years.

I would caution those considering ordering this item if you don’t plan on storing it in its box in a drawer between uses. I have yet to find a worthwhile replacement to recommend and am sad to stray from Mount Lai.

absolutely incredible. i wish i could give this more than 5 stars! within the first two days of using i felt this pain and facial tension ease away and after a week- my dark circles lightened!! my eyes naturally have darker pigmentation under them and i’ve had dark circles since i was 8, nothing as ever eased them, no cream or treatment and i’ve tried several- but a gua sha did! i look significantly less exhausted! and then today, this is what prompted me to write a review- i had a swollen lymph node from a lil cold and after massaging over it with a gua sha the swelling decreased! really this product does wonders with facial pain and swelling.

i’m far less puffy and my skin has a vibrancy i could not imagine. i ordered from the original website, mount lai, and they were incredibly fast and the product came in excellent condition, i ordered it monday and it arrived friday.

SACHEU BEAUTY Gua Shaﻗ°½Stainless Steel When I received my stainless steel Sacheu Beauty Gua Sha a couple of weeks ago, I really wasnﻗ°ﻷt sure what to expect. Even with the beauty expert personal photos, the whole Gua Sha process just didnﻗ°ﻷt make sense to me until I removed this stainless steel beauty from its black velvet carrying bag and tried it out.

And even then, it didnﻗ°ﻷt really sink in until I tried it the next morning with some appropriately heavy facial oil and then I began to figure it out. The first time I tried it, I found the Gua Sha to be unexpectedly heavy and awkward for my hands.

Iﻗ°ﻷve used quartz facial rollers in the past, but they were tiny compared with the size and weight of the Sacheu Gua Sha device. As a former court reporter and current clarinet player, I am relatively dexterous, however, so it didnﻗ°ﻷt take me long to get the hang of this excellent skin care device.

According to Sacheu Beauty, this stainless steel Gua Sha device is a ﻗ°tissue-healing powerhouse,ﻗ°ﻻ capable of draining away lymph fluids, additionally increasing facial oxygen / nutrient delivery while also lifting and firming facial skin over time.

Maybe best of all from my standpoint, the device is also said to relieve and relax overactive facial muscles, resulting in the softening and ultimate prevention of dynamic wrinklesﻗ°½what could be better than that? A little research on the centuries-old gua sha principal indicates that with repeated use, this device will also combat dark circles and generally tighten the face.

The stainless steel composition is, of course, non-porous to prevent bacteria buildup and skin break-outs. Itﻗ°ﻷs easy to clean and should be cleaned after every use before placing it back in its black velvet storage bag.

I was a gua sha skeptic, but I decided to buy this (elsewhere) after I watched several YouTube videos. I like that this gua sha is large, and has smooth notch at the bottom, instead of a jagged “V” notch.

I HIGHLY recommend watching some good videos and following along with your favorite. I like using it with serum plus a few drops of squalene or argan oil for slip. Before you begin, lightly and slowly press the flesh on both sides at the “U” of your collarbone 10 times.

That will help with lymphatic drainage from the face. Press the gua sha lightly during movements if your aim is lymphatic drainage. After several seconds, you may have to swallow frequently as you massage, especially if you have any sinus congestion.

You may discover small knots of muscle tension. Stroke them lightly. If any of your lymph glands are swollen, stroke them EXTRA lightly (the pressure required to push a nickel across a table top. ) Spend extra time anywhere it feels good.

I use this to help get the water weight out of my face. At first I didn’t see the difference but I kept using it. I’m glad I didn’t give up on it and put it in the pile of other things that don’t work.

I am definitely seeing a difference in my face. I’m also wearing a full face compression mask with this. For me I can only speak for. The suction cups are more intense for me. I will still use this to cool down my face after using your suction cups.

I love this set. I noticed a difference the following morning after using the roller for the first time the previous night. I woke up to a more defined/sculpted face that had zero puffiness. I actually didn’t even realize how puffy my face was until that following morning.

I only gave the serum 3/5 for absorption because I think that I might have used a bit too much. a lot of the product was still sitting on my face, though it was very light and didn’t feel like anything was sitting there, if I touched my skin, I was seeing some of that product on my finger tips.

Even after massaging it in for a decent amount of minutes. Still, great product. I love the set. I will definitely use the serum again and I still have yet to use the gua-sha. But so far. highly impressed and loving it.

I bought these items while they were on sale and has been eyeing them for a while, since I liked that they were stainless steel unlike other rollers. I ended up buying thick skin just to try. I am so happy with these products !! I can tell every detail from packaging to product design was considered carefully.

The result is amazing, high quality rollers that I would have bought at full price. Packaging was beautiful and sturdy. The roller itself is great too, most i buy seem to not be out together well and jiggle while i’m rolling bit that’s not the case with this.

I can’t compare the Gua sha tool to anything since Ove never used one before this but I like that it’s stainless steel but I really like it. The stainless steel is heavy and I can tell it’s real stainless steel u like a lot of other brands that seem to out some sort of plate to make it LOOK stainless steel.

Oh- I Love using this on my jaw-line. It can be very sore but that’s because our bodies get tight and it means we need to do this much more often :). Always go up while focusing on tight spots until they’re released. Then I use the jade roller. I do about 10 mins. THEN, the final step is lotion. And IF you feel a need add some rose oil or a little serum with lotion, then just mix together and put on.

I’m new to using a gua sha but it has become a part of my night time ritual. Really helps reduce puffyness on my jawline and just feels like a great face massage. With consistent use i think I really makes a difference in how my face looks! Highly recommend.

Brilliant to promote lymphatic drainage. Also helps to reduce toxins and puffiness on my face. In combination with my Jade roller makes a real difference on my face’s blood circulation. My secret tip is to keep it in the fridge for couple of hours before using it.

This jade roller is magical! Maybe it’s all in my head but my face feels more firm. I have to hide it because my son tried it and now he takes it for himself. Will be going back to buy another. Kinda tired of hiding it because sometimes I hide it so we’ll I forget where it is!! LOL Great product!.

This product is excellent! The face roller always stimulates my face and adds instant coolness and relief. I do wish the instructions stated the gua sha is meant to be used at most 3 times a week, but besides that the product is stellar and well worth the price.

This massage tool is my new best friend. This particular make of gua sha was getting the best reviews as I discovered from my research, so I know I’ve bought a quality product. I keep it in the freezer, and after watching a YouTube clip, follow the same routine on my face every day.

I use it flat against my face, but also the side edge and cut out groove at the top. Any puffiness or swelling is dramatically reduced, leaving a much smoother and more youthful finish to my skin. It’s so easy and quick to use- between 5 and 10 minutes a day, and I just wish I’d discovered it sooner!.

Its a little early to say how effective the jade beauty restorer is yet but what i can say is. so far so good. It has a cooling quality on the skin and feels lovely as it glides across the face. I am a novice to the technique but am learning from clips online so hopefully good results will follow.

I know there are other beauty tools available to compliment the beauty restorer and i would definitely think about buying these in fthe future.

I bought the Hayo’u Beauty Restorer, because I thought I had lost the one I bought last year. Fortunately I found the orginal one as the new one is a darker green which is not such a nice colour and is much thinner than the orginal one, which was disappointing as the quality looks cheaper and doesn’t feel like Jade.

I have kept the new one for the shower only. The old one, which is much better quality, I use for relaxing my face just before I go to sleep. It is also cooling on the skin.

I have two frustrations – the first is I went to a certified retailer, worked with a sales associate and purchased 3 oils and this tool. I now take your quiz and NONE of the oils she sold me align with the oils recommended when I take your quiz.

THEN, I purchase this tool, asked if there was a video to watch; she said OF COURSE, at odacite. com you will watch a video to practice and become familiar with how to utilize the tool. FALSE. there is no video.

Now the really aggravating bit – not only do you not have a video, but your VERY poor images do not align with the correct side of the tool referenced in your unhelpful usage visual aid. Basically I spent a few hundred dollars on the wrong product and a tool I don’t know how to use.

I am so happy with my purchase, such a beautiful stone. It has a lovely weight to it and it feels so special to use! I also love that this one is a bit bigger in size (about 4. 5″ x 2. 5″) than others I’ve seen and it’s great to massage your neck as well.

I feel like I can already tell such a difference in my dark under eye circles, and everything feels more lifted and softened. I watched a few Youtube tutorials on how to do Gua Sha properly which I would recommend as the instruction booklet isn’t very detailed.

I will also mention that it does not come with any kind of case or protective bag for the stone which would have been nice, but I can sew and I plan to make a little drawstring pouch for mine!.

Oh my goodness I am in love with this product! I like to put face oil on in the evening and use this tool to massage my skin for a more youthful appearance. At least your skin feeling lovely… You could use it in the morning before applying make up with a little bit of product but let me tell you using it at night before bedtime is the perfect way to wind down and relax before a good nights sleep.

The Gua Sha Rose quartz tool I received was nowhere near the photo on the website. Understanding there can be slight variations because these are natural stones, however what I received was a piece of white stone with some brown stripes.

I checked with customer service, they wrote it off as a slight variation. In my opinion, it was a huge variation from what I thought I was getting.

Like the other reviews the Gua sha stone was very lightweight and warmed quickly. The stone is quiet broad and will fit better if you have normal size hands. Mine are on the smaller scale so balancing it was a bit tricky.

The rose quartz feel lovely and cool on first use and is a great starter tool. The ridges and curves could be deeper so you could fit into the curve of the chin and jawline better.

I was in my local Ulta and a sales girl asked me if I had ever used a Gua Sha tool with the face oil I had in my basket. I had to say, ” A Whaaaat?” having no clue what that even meant. LOL! She explained to me what a Gua Sha tool was and even demonstrated how to use it for me.

I decided to buy one to try because it wasn’t super expensive. It feels really cool on the skin and it actually really helps relieve the tension in my jaw due to TMJ. It really has made a difference in my skin and my wrinkles actually look softer! I thought all this tool stuff was just another TikTok trend but it really works! So glad I bought this!.

This product is great, but fragile. I was washing it in the sink & dropped it maybe 2 inches in the sink & it broke into pieces! Pretty bummed out since it is quite expensive for being easily breakable.

I got the stainless steel version now, which doesn’t break & provides the same benefits. It is a couple of dollars more, but worth it in my opinion.

I use this daily with a little bit of face oil and it makes my skin look so much younger and healthier. My skin is glowy and my fine lines are wrinkles are becoming less obvious. It also makes my face appear thinner because it drains off the excess fluid in my face and neck.

It also helps to sculpt my jawline.

I’m skeptical as to whether this is real rose quartz as when using it after a while it does heat up a bit but then cools down after you stop using it (but then again this could actually be heat from my face/body temperature I feel rather than the gua sha itself).

It’s early days as have still yet to make continuous use of it but will try maybe putting it in the fridge and see if that makes a difference. I’ve bought it for the purpose of toning some parts of my face.

On the upside the packaging is very lovely and sophisticated. It’s also reasonably priced compared to some of the other gua shas that are around.

I have just started to use this amazing tool although I have been using one from different manufacturers. Unfortunately the both previous felt to the floor and shattered. This one is little bit smaller and doesn’t fit great into my hand.

It is alright but could be bigger. It says it is genuine Rosen quartz. I am not an expert but but it seems proper one. Hope this one will last longer than previous.

I have been looking for a good quality guy sha for a couple of months. I’ve read that one should opt for quartz over jade as it stays cleaner. All the ones I have seen were nice but over priced, or looked cheap bc they were cheap.

I was so happy to find this one, and on sale! It’s a good size, not too small, so it will cover a good portion of your lower jaw and cheek when using. It’s excellent! Highly recommend!.

Use this every night as my last step or part of my night skincare with my facial oil. Sooo good and relaxing. Done not scrape on skin and good quality also. I kid you not, it has helped my double chin and give shape to my jawline.

I’ve been wanting to purchase a Gua Sha facial massagers for some time and I managed to get one in the post Christmas sales. I’m still learning to use it and it’s an invigorating feeling afterwards. I love that it feels solid in my hand and I hope using it regularly will keep my facial muscles toned and healthy!.

A brilliant addition to at home maintenance. Very relaxing and feels nice. I haven’t used it long or consistently enough for results but the process is enough in itself. I was nervous that this being so cheap would make it bad but it’s great! Definitely advise looking at YouTube tutorials from facialists who specialise in these kind of tools though first.

I found the video tutorial very helpful! And of course, the results!! I got everything that was promised – firmer skin, smoother texture, muscle tension release (feeling relaxed) and the tool does not heat up 😀 I learned the good way that it’s important not to rush and relax while doing the face massage – just after a few mornings of doing it in a slower manner I got better results faster.

I use this tool every morning and usually time it so I do a minute per area. I glide it along my brow bone repeatedly to hopefully release any fluid and puffiness there, on my forehead and under my eyes, along my cheeks and along my jawline.

My hope is that it increases circulation and may smooth out some of the areas. I think it is probably very helpful with lymphatic/fluid drainage from one’s face. I love this tool! I usually put on vitamin C oil first, which allows the tool to glide over my face.

Loved it! This is the second gua sha that I’ve ever purchased after I dropped and shattered my first one. Compared to the one that I owned previously from a different brand, the loa is larger in size and I personally find that the larger size actually makes it sit more comfortably in my hand, as well as covers more surface area of my face.

I also enjoy the combed edge which is something that I don’t see on many gua shas, I feel that the combed edge allows the gua sha to get a better hold of my skin, which makes it feel more effective. Overall great product, would recommend to anyone.

Love: 1. that it’s made from a natural product of volcanic lava 2. something I can use as an exercise tool everyday to help my skin be the best it can be 3. it’s so cute with the black heart shape and the ribbed edge for a deeper massage which helps get to those tough areas like to around the mouth and in the neck.
