24 Best Products For Split Ends Natural Hair (2023 Updated)

I used the old version of this and could not figure out how to use this new version without getting oily hair. You need a full pump to get both sides to spit out product. I dry my hair in thin layers and like to only apply a tiny bit of product to each layer.

I figured out that if I dispense a pump of this into a spoon I can mix it and just get a little on each layer, distributing it evenly throughout my ends. This works better to me with heat. Like it drives it into the hair.

It makes my 54 year old bleached hair soft and shiny. Makes it a little harder to get curls to hold, but that is a small price to pay. It is expensive, but it does a great job.

I have been using this product for over a year and love it, but the last two times I’ve purchased there has been a manufacture’s defect in the packaging so bad that the dual action turns into a one action.

Only the side with the oil comes out of the pump and the lotion remains inside. Totally disappointing! The first purchased I ate the cost and only used half the product, hoping the lotion would start coming out but it never did.

The second purchase had the same issue so I returned it. I am reluctant to buy again but I probably will because I love this product. Fingers crossed that Kerastase will get their packaging under control.

Granted, it’s expensive and you don’t get much product… but the hair on the back of my head got very brittle and I suffered a ton of breakage. (I had radiation last year) I got a lot of layering cut in to remove a lot of the damage.

But it still felt dry & coarse. I’ve been using this after washing and sometimes in between mixed with a styling cream. My hair is feeling much better. Softer and I’m not noticing so much breakage. I’m now using a few Kerastase products to help grow back my hair.

I feel like I’m on the right path.

This oil is good. It smells good and deff keeps my hair hydrated. I do prefer the castor oil over this. I only got it because the castor was sold out. But I liked this oil. I’d probably get it again.

It’s deff not as thick as the castor oil. Putting it on my hair dry before bed works well for overnight hydrating.

I have dry frizzy hair and this oil brought out my curls hydrated my hair and smells wonderful. I use it on wet hair and then add mor once my hair is fully dry. My hair feels healthier and is starting to grow very fast.

My split ends are almost gone after a month of using this oil. I highly recommend this product snd if you want an intense overnight treatment I saturate my hair before going to bed then wash it out when I wake.

Just a tiny bit is all you need. A little goes a long, long way with this product. Perhaps what I love the most about this product is how my hair doesn’t feel weighed down, and it’s possibly the softest it has ever been.

I tried the oil on both wet and dry hair, and it has been amazing. It is touted to be lightweight and nourishing, and it truely is. It lives up to luxe. Wella has me hooked. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review after using it. I am pleasantly surprised at the efficacy of this product overall. I personally am one who has always been a lover of any and all hair care products.

But if i am being honest, I would have to admit that I definitely discriminated against any type of oil type hair care product. I just automatically assumed without any prior knowledge that my hair would end up looking like i poured vegetable oil in it lol! And so it went that I steered clear of oil products for my hair.

So when I received this product, i was totally scared to use it. But I knew I had to use it and give my true and honest review as well after using it. Upon reading about this Moroccan Oil treatment thru various customer reviews and other sources of information, I was a bit less afraid of trying it.

But still not 100% on board with it either. Well, i gotta tell y’all how incredibly silly I feel now after using this AMAZING oil treatment!! I mean my hair though! The feel and the overall appearance of my rather unhealthy overworked hair after using this treatment, omg.

The biggest problem with natural hair wigs is replacing the natural oils that dissipate through different environmental influences like sun, rain and wind. Although this product is not exactly the same as natural occurring oils from the scalp, Argan Oil is an extremely good alternative.

With the wig placed on a wig stand, I lightly spray the product all over he hair and then using a soft plastic wig-brush spread the oil evenly. I simply then leave the wig on the stand overnight to allow the oil to sock into the hair.

Using this product, along with other wig care practices, I have learnt to way extend the life of my wigs.

I’ve been wanting to try Oribe for a while, and I was looking for something that would help with flyaways when I received this box. Needless to say, I was excited to try this out. First, the bad. I work in an industry where I can’t wear heavily scented products.

This cream doesn’t smell bad, but it is fairly strong so I have to be careful about how much I use. Second, which isn’t a real con as it’s to be expected with these products, it doesn’t last all day.

My flyaways do start popping up by the end. of the work day. It’s still better than nothing though, and I assume people without scent restrictions could just smooth more on after a few hours. Now for the good! The scent is pretty nice.

Not something I’d go for in a perfume, but it’s pleasant. I really like that this is a water-based silicone product rather than silicone-based because it’s easier to distribute throughout my hair. Straight silicone products make my hair filmy after a couple of days, but this one doesn’t.

It also does a decent job at smoothing my hair and reducing flyaways. It’s not a gel so it isn’t perfect, but it does a great job of adding shine and smoothness without making my hair look oily or requiring me to wash my hair more often.

If I need to use it multiple days in a row, I just put a small dab in my hand with some water, rub my hands together, and smooth it over my head the next days. I’d probably personally rate this a 4. 5/5 because of the scent being strong, but because it’s more of a personal issue than a fault of the product, I’ll give it 5/5.

I’ve been using this product for 2 weeks now so I feel like I’ve had adequate time to test it and give an honest review. So far, I’m loving what I’m seeing! I recently took my naturally dark brunette hair to a light blonde balayaged look and the bleaching and lightening process took a bit of a toll on my locks.

My hair was dry and brittle and, combined with the cold winter, suffered from split ends and a general lack of moisture. I religiously used this Oribe cream on my freshly washed hair (about 2-3 times a week) after I showered.

Worked a generous amount into my ends since my hair is pretty long. First of all, I love the smell. Minor point but I just love the salon smell of it. As for moisture, it definitely adds a good amount of moisture back into my thirsty hair.

The other big draw for me is that it controls crazy flyaways and frizz, which I seem to suffer from a lot more in the winter months. I’ll keep using this as part of my hair regimen and see what it does after a few more weeks of use, but I can say that I am liking what Im seeing so far.

My split ends look like they’re being repaired and my hair looks healthier in general, especially the bleached dried ends. Overall another win from Oribe.

My natural hair is very very fine, so normally I wouldn’t need a product like this. However, right now I have a bleached ombre look, and my hair is very dry at the ends. Since I’ve never really had to deal with this problem, I’ve been trying a few different solutions to find out what works best without weighing my hair down too much.

This product works GREAT for conditioning and moisturizing my dry ends! I only use a dime-sized amount on the lower 6-10 inches of my hair, and use a much more lightweight leave-in spray near the roots.

It works like a dream. My hair is practically as soft as its natural state! I would not, however, say it does too much for the naturally occurring frizziness when air drying. Nor have I tried it on dry hair.

The only thing that may keep me from purchasing more in the future is the high price tag. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Additionally, I used the creme as the final step for my twist-out and it was wonderful! It made my hair shiny, soft and. MY CURLS! My curls were so springy, The twist-out lasted longer than it ever has.

This is now a staple in my house. There’s no other product that both works on my and my 2 daughters’ hair!.

Then I applied the cream and it’s just wonderful I really love my natural hair.

My favorite of all leave in conditioners. The scent is amazing. The product always leaves my hair feeling amazing, never weighed down. It’s a very nice, light formula that causes the hair to be unimaginably soft and easy to detangle.

I love the shine this conditioner leaves. I don’t even have to style my hair, all I do is spray this in and my curls instantly grab onto it and I call it a day! The texture of the product is thin enough to spray out and be easy to manage, but thick enough to give great condition.

Product is vegan!.

So my entire order came damaged. As in, OIL EVERYWHERE inside the box. My kid had to help me because there was so much oil. I didn’t want to get my iPhone oily and ruined and we weren’t even thinking because we never have this sort of issue.

This was the first and it will be the very last time i order from this horrible company. They don’t care they’re perfectly happy taking my money knowing j have nothing to show for it. This is the kind of company you want to avoid at all costs! Buy from somewhere else! Anywhere! The only thing worse than their bag of oil which ruined my clothing was their inadequate, uncaring and selfish customer service.

Good for hair. nails. I dont use it in my hair but my daughter does. I use it for my nails and it helps my nails grow and makes my cuticles stay moisturized. This product is fabulous and can be found at the dollar store!! Careful.

They have been using it for two weeks and it has put essential oils back to their hair, and has helped their hair look more healthy again. It is oily. What I do is put two small squirts of 2Chic repaing potion in the palm of my hand and one squirt of the 2Chic Ultra Moist super potion anti frizz binding serum I rub it in my hand to my finger tips then put it on my daughter’s hair ( after they take a shower), starting with the ends, then working in into the longer stands.

Then I put in more small drop of this work it on my hands the work some into the middle of the hair and top. Then brush while still wet. Let air dry, the hair will not be oily after( as long as you do not iver do it).

It will be soft and for curly hair it will keep your curls looking healthy and shiny.

La texture très liquide m’a surprise au premier abord mais on a besoin de très peu de produit à l’application. Après le shampooing, cette lotion a considérablement renforcé mes pointes. Donc je recommande amplement ce produit.

But it’s worth it. It may not work for everyone’s hair, but it definitely helps smooth out the frizz, and broken ends. Although it seems to dry out a few strands (like I had put gel, or hair spray), but that could be because I’ve used to much.

I have noticed it has helped my hair to remain healthy. I started using this when my ends were completely fried, and it seems to have tamed that quite a bit. It did smooth out the frizz, but frizz is still an issue, but my hair is healthier then what it used to be.

Although I’ve noticed that I’m having a harder time keeping permanent dye in my hair, or atleast last time I dyed my hair a permanent color, it faded, and washed out quicker than I had been accustomed to.

So I’m unsure if this product is a contributing factor. I would more so recommend if you’ve been heavy on the heat damage to your hair, or have bleached, and used very damaging products to your hair.

This will bring it back, atleast to some degree. As for price, it is slightly steep. I’m sure there is a product out there, comparable to this, but I haven’t found it yet. I will say though, this gem has definitely brought out more of my natural hair then anything ever has, meaning that my waves are easier to appear.

I use this about two to three times a week, basically after every shampoo, and condition. I towl dry for a few moments, to get the excess out, then I use about 1, to 2 pumps, sometimes 3, or 4 depending, and I try my best to equal it out through my hair.

But, I make sure to save a pump for my ends, which I do last, so I can make sure to give them special attention, since they are still slightly damaged. If you’ve bleached recently, get this! If you wear tight buns alot, get this!! If you use heat products on your hair, get this!! It also smells good!! And if you use about a pump, or two, or three every time, it will last.

I think the one I’m currently using has lasted me about 6 or so months now? Maybe more, but I have shorter hair. I’m sorry this review is so long, I also want to mention that someone on here mentioned it helps with hair loss, I had completely forgot about that, as I realize, since I started using this, I have seen less hair loss, although I still lose quite a bit, but the amount is definitely less.

I am air drying and applying zero heat to my hair too btw… it’s still too gummy and stretching badly in one spot still. Anyhow the product smells nice and has nice texture not sticky at all more like gel lotion kinda but the bottle is pump not spray I’d prefer a spray especially while my hair DOES NOT liking being brushed and breaks each time I do!!I have to do so very carefully in the shower with condition applied rinse and wrap in a soft wrap for now.

apply this wrap again!! Then apply more redken anti snap after towel dried as much as I can smh don’t know what I’m going to do when winter is here full on!! Any advice would be very appreciated if u wanna give it!! I’ve tried a ton of other product if u would like to read more of what I’ve tried to fix this fried hair with lol PS:I have to laugh to keep from crying!!.

IšverstiShow in original languageOn just shampooed, still damp hair, before you’ve combed it, massage two squirts of product into hair. Let sit a couple minutes, then comb through hair. Hair is relaxed and combs smoothly.

This is a leave in product. Has a nice light fragrance. Your hair dries smooth and soft. Aids is less breakage and prevents split ends. Does not leave any perceptible residue after drying. Just wish Redken did not revise this product.

The new “improved” product isn’t as good, leaves a heavy feel to the hair like you wish you’d rinsed it out. Stock up on this version while it’s still available.

Watering down a product and then calling it a ‘milk’ is a heck of a marketing ploy. I need about 2-3x as much of this as I do any similar salon-quality styling products- so the 3. 3oz bottle will go about as far as a 1oz travel size of comparable salon-quality products.

It’s over $40 for about $14-18 worth of benefit in my book. The product it actually feels most comparable (in texture and function) is the Pipette kids’ detangler- which, fragrance aside, I prefer. That said, I’m surprised by the negative comments about the scent.

This smells exactly like old school Aveda products. There’s a heavy fennel kind of smell, and you get a lot of rosemary and patchouli and some jasmine. It’s spicy, herbal, earthy, and a little floral, and the scent became pretty faint after blow-drying.

It’s very spa-like. I was disappointed after drying my hair with this because it was fluffy and frizzy and felt a little coated. Only some protein agrees with my hair, and this isn’t as bad as it could be, but it definitely isn’t an improvement.

It did settle in after I added some oil, though. The bottle looks lovely on my counter and it does feel like a luxury product. I love that it doesn’t have silicone or heavy synthetic fragrance because most styling products do and my skin is really sensitive to them.

I don’t think I would ever repurchase this, but I’m not returning it either.

It gives me a wavy, non frizzy texture – like sexy bed head hair or beach waves. I love the elegant, minimalist bottle design. I use a lot of hair maintenance products regularly (masks, natural shampoo and conditioners, oils, serums), but this is my favorite daily hair treatment that is gentle to use every day.

This product s especially great to use if your hair is exposed to the elements: wind, sun, extreme heat or cold and is prone to getting dry and brittle. I am in the sun a lot and like to sail and swim, and using this product has helped my hair maintain moisture and a soft texture.

I bring this bottle everywhere and use every day. Highly recommend.

This is a great product! A little goes a long way. It is pretty pricey, but I won’t dock a star just for the price. It feels very light and absorbs almost immediately, leaving my hair nicely hydrated.

I found this product when I was searching for a silicone-free product that makes the hair feel like it has silicone in it. For context, I love the way silicones initially make my hair feel, but then they require removal with relatively harsher shampoos and my hair ends up feely quite dry if I use silicone-heavy products too frequently.

If your hair is silicone-sensitive in a similar manner, then this product is definitely a good one to try! Also it smells phenomenal and the packaging is pretty, if you care about that type of stuff :).
