Had this neck pillow about 3 months. Upon receipt, the zipper never worked to remove the cover for washing. Shortly after arrival, one of the string pulls came out. Was able to re-attach. Now one of the other seams is coming apart.

Don’t know if my product defective or not. I was hoping for a pillow that would last a while. If you are looking for a disposable neck pillow, this will work. It’s comfortable and my doctor likes the results.

Now looking for another pillow to help support my neck.

I have at least six travel pillows. I am constantly looking for one that works. Finally I found it. I like the good support, the dip for the neck in the back and that it folds up into a small bag.

Bought this for a 14 hour international flight and it was great. Folds up small and expands nicely. I got a full night’s sleep thanks to this great inexpensive purchase.

The pillow is very soft and easy to adjust around your neck. It felt a bit unnatural at first, but I was eventually able to fall asleep. The best part was not waking up from a sudden head bob. I could only use the pillow for short naps because it would get a little bit warm, but I’m sure that extra warmth would be great for colder environments.

Overall, it’s the best pillow to have if you’re in a situation where you have to sleep sitting upright.

My head doesn’t bob, my neck doesn’t hurt, my hair isn’t messed up! I am loving this pillow and I haven’t even travelled anywhere yet. This will be perfect for my redeye flight. I also like how soft it is and the fleece will be nice as I find airplanes cold.

And for those open mouth sleepers. just bring the fleece up a bit and cover your mouth. All your problems solved with this amazing pillow. If you commute, buy it. If you travel, buy it.

IšverstiShow in original languageI received my first one as a gift. It’s a life saver for a chronic travelling napper such as myself. My head bobbing and nodding days are behind me. I also have chronic neck pain which makes traditional around the neck pillows really uncomfortable because I can’t have my neck in that position.

The trtl is a head resting on the side position. I just purchased my second trtl because my family is constantly “borrowing” it! Cozy, easy to use and super packable.

I’ve had two long-haul trips with this pillow so far and I had the best naps ever, the closest to getting some proper sleep on the plane. The key feature of this product is its strapping to a fixed object (the head rest of your plane seat) so you support your neck/cheeks on something that doesn’t move with you as you doze off.

It’s akin to resting your head on a good friend’s shoulder as you nap, and that friend doesn’t move an inch to disturb you. This is in contrast to many of the conventional doughnut-shaped travel pillows that simply hang around the user’s neck.

The pillow is easy to attach to the head rest, as shown in the promotional videos. Once attached, it’s secure and didn’t slip out while I was nodding off. Adjusting the height of the pillow was also easy — it’s a combination of the head rest’s position and how the pillow’s straps are used.

Packing is easy too. I followed the instructions and rolled it up like a cinnamon roll. When compressed like this, it fits well into the case provided, without having to squeeze very hard and worry about bursting seams of the case! The compressed size is smaller than a football, so it’s really easy to carry.

Needless to say, once taken out of the case, the memory foam sprung back to its original shape. The washable cover seems easy enough to remove too (though I haven’t done it yet). A small side pocket in the cover for storing small personal items is also a nice touch.

Just one caveat: this pillow won’t work if you’re flying short-haul with budget airlines, whose planes usually do not have proper head rest on seats.

This was great on a five-hour flight. I must admit I felt quite superior with my compact, covered neck pillow when I saw other travelers with the standard pillows hanging off of their bags, exposed to everything around them.

I purchased 4 of these for a family flight last month. They were probably the most comfortable neck pillows I’ve ever used. My mother swears she will never travel without the one I purchased for her.

The memory foam makes a big difference and the drawstring ensures a snug fit. The sleep mask and earplugs were a nice bonus!! Buy the pillows, you won’t be disappointed. The only issue I had is that I purchased 4 different colors and the black one seemed to come from a different warehouse and was in a MUCH smaller drawstring storage bag which made for flat/wrinkled edges.

I fixed it by removing the pillow from the washable cover and rapidly/tightly squeezing the tips and then letting them rest to allow them to expand and regain their shape. After a few tries, it was as fluffy as the other three.

I found another drawstring pouch in my house to store it in as to not flatten it out again. Worked like a charm.

The weight and pack size is outstanding. Comfort is fine. Easy to inflate and deflate. There are few things to keep in mind though: 1. The narrow size will leave your elbows on the ground next to the mat if you lye on your back.

This might not matter if your pad is next to another or other things (clothes whatever in a tent). Also how actually uncomfortable this is will depend on you. For me I found it unnoticeable on some nights and rather distracting and uncomfortable other nights.

2. I ordered no less than three of these pads because I carry all equipment for myself and two kids on long 10+ km/day must-day treks. I had to return two pads because of defects where were two things: deflating over night (losing all air within a few hours) and when inflating having a bulge at the head.

If these pads are so advanced that they have a high defect rate I’m ok with that as long as I’m getting replacements/money back which so far has been the case. I’ve read other places online similar to my experience.

I found out recently these pills are actually just Benadryl marketed as a sleep aid. If I take melatonin it tends to make me slightly drowsy but sometimes it’s not enough to fall asleep. When I take jet asleep I’m out in a matter of 30 minutes! It doesn’t help me to stay asleep or wake up feeling refreshed but without these I’d never be able to fall asleep naturally! In the past I have used items that were unsafe such as Tylenol PMs every night or NyQuil every night which both can have adverse effects! So taking benedryl/jet sleeps makes me feel slightly better because I already am prescribed benedryl for allergies so I just take it at night as needed!.

I can’t brag on this stuff enough!!! As a terrible insomniac I rarely find anything that works. But let me tell you, this DOES!!! I take the recommended amount and I’m asleep with an hour. I stay asleep.

Many OTC and some prescribed aids do not last all night. The only problem that I’ve ever had with this product is that it’s hard to find. Dollar General is the only one locally that carries it, and word must’ve gotten out because it’s typically out of stock.

Will recommend to anyone!!!.

Love Jet Asleep! I’ve tried pretty much every over the counter sleep aid but this one actually works every time! Makes me feel a little silly if I don’t fall asleep fast but then I will sleep all night.

Only complaint is they are hard to find sometimes.

We own three of these for travel purposes; one for me, one for my husband, and one in case something goes wrong so we’ll have a backup! It takes up NO space in my suitcase and is fantastic for European hotels which typically provide only one pillow, and often a flat one at that.

I am also allergic to down so if the hotel only has down pillows I can use this one. My husband snores if he doesn’t have at least two pillows so this item is an essential when the hotel will only let us have one per person! (European hotels are like that).

It has saved me in many a travel dilemma; for example being stuck overnight at an airport I can pop on an eyeshade, insert my earplugs, and lay down on the floor with this to get a decent night’s sleep (I use my SeatoSummit poncho on the floor as my ‘groundsheet’) I’ve also used it for car napping.

And of course I have used it camping, but since I usually car camp I typically take my own pillow from home and then I use this as just extra comfort.

While being a side sleeper a pillow goes from luxury to necessities for me. Using the pillow on my ‘21 PCT Thru and many other thousands of miles I’ve come to the following conclusion : The pillow simply isn’t durable enough but because ounces make pounds I continue to use it.

I’ve tried sleeping on dirty clothes, food bag and even unused clothing/weather gear. None of those options are really enjoyable but doable. My Sea to Summit pillow will leak to the point in which the leak cannot be found while on trail.

While a delay on my part due to no/limited email service but coupled with what I feel is an extremely long delay in a response from Sea to Summit, once my email is sent, is also frustrating because I may spend a week or two with less desirable pillow options.

Sea to Summit is kind enough to warranty it but they always send it to my home address which means I have to purchase another one and send it up trail. In closing it’s a comfortable pillow but lacks durability.

I’m a side sleeper with broad shoulders. This pillow inflates to a good size for my head/neck/shoulders and then packs down into a small space saving size. Add a little bit of luxy when camping. I would like to give it a solid 5 stars, unfortunately, it can be quite sippery if you are using a sleeping pad from a different brand, and the “locking” system only works if the sleeping pad as it.

Yet to find a work around, other than stuffing the pillow into the hood of my sleeping bag. Not great for cold weather as my sleeping bag’s hood struggles to accomodate my large head and the pillow. Will keep experimenting on how to “lock” it to my pad without great modifications.

Potentially having something behind your head, like a bag might help it from sliding off.

I previously owned a regular Insulated Static V. I purchased the lite version for a few reasons. 1. I hammock camp and just adopted a second dog, who wouldn’t fit on the Klymit dog bed, but I also couldn’t fit a second dog bed in my hammock bug net.

2. My boyfriend and I camp together, but having two different sleeping pads led to them sliding apart and one of us ending up on the ground. I bought this with the intention of using it with the Double V sheet per the company’s answer on their site that the sheets would also fit this version.

I just took this pad on a 5-day camping trip and used it as my pad, putting the non-lite version on the ground for the dogs (which did work out, FYI). Pros: It is just as comfortable as my original non-lite version and it is substantially lighter.

However, on the cons end, it does not fit the regular Static V sheet. The edges kept popping out because it seemed to be just a bit wide for the sheet. It was also awkwardly fitted in the corners since the sheet is designed to fit over the air nozzle on the non-lite version.

I haven’t used it with the Double V sheet yet, but I can’t imagine it will fit the two different versions either. Surprisingly, it also didn’t fold down quite as small as my non-lite version, but this may have been the fault of the stuff sack.

I also preferred the older style of inflation valve versus the single flip top style for inflation, but it did work better to deflate the pad, so that seems to be up to personal preference.

This is a very well designed and made sleeping pad, incredibly lightweight and super easy to inflate. I can get it fully inflated with a maximum twelve blows or puffs, there is no need for a pump. I’m a big guy at over six feet tall weighing 95kg, and I’m a side sleeper as well and the V-Chambers design of this pad giving a height of 6cm’s when fully inflated provides a very comfortable ammount of loft and support for my big frame while lying on my back or side.

I also like the side rails design feature that helps keep you centered on the pad while sleeping, or in my case while I toss and turn in my sleep. It is a very quiet sleeping pad and does not have the dreaded crinkle noise that other insulated sleeping pads can have.

This is another feature I like very much. I have found by folding it twice length ways before rolling it up it actually rolls up to fit inside the carry bag about two inches shorter than the bag which is another small bonus.

One thing I question is Klymit’s claim that is has an ‘ R ‘ value of 4. 4. Having done some research before I purchased this pad there are some very good reviewers on Youtube channels who explain that Klymit have their own rating system on ‘ R ‘ values that does not follow what is widely accepted as an industry standard.

I still went ahead and purchased this pad because my priorities were the size and weight factors, as well as how easy it is to inflate and the comfort factor. Now that I have one I would have to agree with other reviewers in saying I very much doubt it’s ‘ R ‘ value is 4.

4. The smart thing to do is to use a lightweight closed-cell foam sleeping pad underneath the Klymit pad. I use a Therma-a-Rest RidgeRest Classic which is virtually indestructable and gives excellent protection from sticks and branches or rocks in wild terrain, and it also has an ‘ R ‘ value of 2.

6. It also helps keep you off the cold ground in Winter or in cold climate situations and provide a much better nights sleep. Even one of the cheap closed-cell foam yoga mats you can get from BCF would be great for this purpose.

Over all I’m extremely happy with this pad and can highly recommend it.

I don’t consider myself to be huge but with a normal 20 inch air mattress I’d find my hands on the ground so I needed something wide and this fit the bill. This replaced a 25 inch self-inflating mat that also fit the bill but those are just too big when packing gear on an airplane.

This is a fraction of the size. We have 2 of these and have used them for at least 5 2 week camping trips in addition to regular weekend camping trips over 5-6 years now and had no issues with comfort.

We have a AAA powered thermarest neoair pump as well since this is a not that easy to fill by mouth regardless of what the company says. It takes a few minutes and still needs a few breaths to finis the job but very convenient.

So extremely happy with these mats for comfort, packed size and durability. Highly recommended especially for the price. My only warning is in cold weather you really feel it, meaning below 5C. We put a blanket on top but still.

I bought 2 of these pads 2 years ago as my son and I were getting into backpacking on a budget. They lasted through several trips with zero issues, were durable, and almost more importantly. they weren’t loud.

If you’ve ever backpacked with someone who has a loud, squeaky air pad you know what I mean. Recently during a camping trip one of the pads developed a slow leak. I contacted Sleepingo customer service, and even though I no longer had the Amazon order #, they sent me a brand new one.

Sleepingo is definitely a gem and I always recommend them to the Boy Scouts in my troop and friends that I backpack with.

Super awesome sleeping pad! I’ve been using it for about 2 months now. I’m about 6’3 and it works perfectly for me. I definitely don’t treat it with as much care as I should, but despite this, it has held up in perfect shape.

It inflates in roughly 7 blows, which still has me amazed. Its not super loud when shifting through the night and its super comfy. I’m a side sleeper too, which kind of had me worried for a sleeping pad.

But this thing really works well. It also packs down to the size of a water bottle, saving me tons of room in my backpack. I’ve never written a review before but this one definitely felt worth it!.

This replaced a Thermarest Pillow that sprung a leak at the valve after a few uses. I’ve used this pillow for over 30 nights and it keeps air as it’s supposed to. It’s smaller but provides comfort. If you’re a princess and the pea sleeper this isn’t for you, however, if you want something to provide cushion that packs small and is very light, it’s a good Chinese made minimalist pillow.

Btw, backcountry customer support was awesome. They replaced my Thermarest with this at no charge and passed the warranty date. That makes for a loyal shopper who will come back for bigger transactions.

This is my first inflatable pillow and it’s one of the cheapest so maybe there are better ones out there. However, I’ve used it for two weeks and I like it. It is super light and compact. Therefore, perfect for backpacking.

It’s so light it always moves as soon as I sit up and I have to grope for it. It’s basically a pillow-shaped balloon so I don’t recommend using it outside a tent. You could lose it in a light breeze.

It’s more comfortable and less noisy wrapped in a t-shirt but I’m used to it now so I don’t bother.

I got this pillow for myself because I always seem to forget my pillow when the kids and I go camping. This pillow is so fantastic, I’ll never go without one for myself again! I truly didn’t expect this pillow to be so comfortable! It is the perfect size, it allows to put my hand under it and tuck my pillow like I tend to do.

The pillow is a beautiful color and so soft. It compacts so small it fits inside the pillowcase I use for my air mattress. So now I can keep those things together, which is so convenient when storing when not in use AND packing for up.

It is super easy to inflate and deflate. It has raised bumps on the bottom to help prevent sliding. It also has this great removable elastic so you can hold it in place around something if you don’t want it moving around.

I highly recommend this pillow, you’ll be so pleased!.

When I was making fun of how uncomforble this was I happened to turn it backswards and then it was like magic! Absolutely made all the difference in the world! Can’t wait to use this for long flights. My only dissatisfaction is it’s bulky size for my carry on. Hopefully sleep is the trade off I won’t regret for lack of space. I’m 5’1 and petit. Great for coach seats, probably won’t wear in first class lol.

I was really surprised how light and compact this sleeping pad actually is. There could be lighter and/or smaller ones available but this is fine for my current needs. I wanted something for more comfortable tent and car camping, even as back up for a friends floor etc! Once lying on the pad it feels well cushioned, at least on hard floors, for back or side sleeping.

It’s a perfect size for me, as I didn’t want anything much wider or longer than my body. I haven’t had a chance to try for any length of time, I’m exited to try it on rocky shores and uneven forest terrain.

It feels like a good and sturdy material. Time and use will have to determine the durability and puncture proof quality of this pad. I like being able to pump it up manually, or with the option of a pump (sold separately!) I was able to inflate it in 13, maybe 14 breathes.

I am hoping this provides a more comfortable sleeping experience than just using the foam roll up pads!.

I have the regular Static V Luxe which works very well for me in the summer. And I’ve been very happy with the peformance of that and how well it’s held up for being inflated non-stop over 4 nights at a time – never losing air or firmness.

I’m glad I could finally get the Insulated Static V Luxe for cooler spring/fall camping. The pack size is a little bigger than regular one, but it’s not a big deal for my car camping. After inflation, it performs exactly the same as the regular one as far as inflating and comfort on the ground as a side sleeper.

I used the inflation sack to blow it up and it only took 4. 5 times. As for being warmer: Yes it is. The floors in my house are very cold b/c of crawl space and 27 degree outside temps. Anyway, after laying on it for a few minutes, I could feel a warmth coming back to my body.

If I could feel warm laying on my freezing cold floors, then it will definitely be helpful when I’m out in mid-40s to mid-50s to help with night chill. The Static V Luxe line has made it possible for me to camp and sleep in comfort, and I’m thrilled to finally have the insulated one.

I love this pillow. I’ve already purchased a second one. I have neck pain issues with regular pillows, but now I just sleep with this pillow and the pain is gone! (I am using it for home, not travel).

FYI, I am an alternating side and back sleeper. The only down side is the lack of a pillowcase option. I am not looking forward to washing the whole pillow as I am worried that it won’t reshape correctly.

For some reason I just couldn’t get comfortable with this pillow. I kept hitting other passengers in the face with the end as I struggled to get comfy. One leg of my trip was a window seat and this is where it worked the best, but aisle seats were tough.

I should state that I flew on Spirit and Frontier, two LOW budget airlines, where the seats DO NOT RECLINE and the rows of seats are likely as close together as the FAA will allow. On American or Delta this might be a completely different experience.

I should also state that all of my flights were COMPLETELY full and one was actually overbooked, so we really were crammed in like sardines. I will revisit this review after my next flight (which will NOT be on Spirit or Frontier) and hopefully be able to bump it up.

We’ve all seen people walking around airports wearing those bulky donut neck pillows, probably because they can’t fit them in their bags, and I’ve never seen the big value of those, since my biggest priorities are: – a pillow that I can easily pack small – a pillow that is comfortable for a variety of sleeping positions/scenarios.

This Travelrest product has really impressed me, and I’m very glad I found and tried it because it’s the best I’ve seen for my 2 priorities after considering every option I could fine. The deflation helps me pack this super tight into any pack, or even a pocket, and it can even attach outside a pack if needed with minimal space taken.

I was concerned about how it inflates, but I can easily do it all in 1-2 breaths (I have decent lung capacity) Then the shape of this pillow works for any airplane scenario – aisle, middle, or window.

I even keep this in my car when I’m not on a plane in case I need to sneak in a car nap. It’s even come with me on camping trips too. I travel a lot, and this as been a life-saver. Many people even ask me about it when they see me using it.

I purchased this pillow when it first came on the market. As I cannot sleep on a plane this pillow works and I have traveled all over the world. With this pillow I can nap. I lost it when I returned from Australia probably at customs, so in July I purchased a new one and in August I purchased the the cover which made a good pillow awesome.

The problem was I could not snap the cover on it so I called customer service and spoke to Teri who promptly took care of it. I am planning a trip which includes 16 hours on a plane, without this pillow I would not get any rest and arrive at my destination and be sick.

This is my second camping/backpacking pillow: my first was for camping: a very lumpy, big and cheap foam-air mixed pillow which did the job on a budget but i decided to treat myself to a specialized backpacking one since i began multiday backpacking to lessen the weight and the space.

I like the product, it is as advertised. Has a little bit of padding underneath the soft face fabric and i don’t know if that’s what lessens the air noise when i move my head on it (not as noisy as my old air-foam pillow which is great) but i know it does keep the warmth (very nice in cool weather, not a deal breaker on hot summer days for me) Overall very satisfied.

Rolls up nicely in its stuff sack with no ´fighting’. Have used it 10 days so far (2 trips- one with hot summer nights, the other with 6 to 20 degree C nights) and can’t say i see any wear so hopefully it lasts a long time! I also love that the shape stays comfortable even when only inflated halfway (i find it too tall when inflated fully).

First off, I have only had this pillow a couple of weeks. Yeah, it may cost a little more, but the size and weight of this pillow make it worth it. I was looking for something that would easily fit in with my gear without taking up the space my normal household pillow takes up.

This totally fit the bill. I have only used this a couple of times now (first to see how it worked at home which worked great and had a similar feel though in a smaller scale than my home pillow and second on a car camping trip).

This is very lightweight. It totally fit what I was looking for (packed, it fits into a small stuff bag which is smaller than a can of soda and barely weighs anything). That being said, the one negative I ran into with this is that being so light, it would fall off my cot and was kind of like picking up a blow up ball with one hand while it keeps slipping away.

What I ultimately did to correct this problem was to make sure it was well on my bed and tucked right up against my shoulder. The shape of this blown up works well for a side sleeper. My shoulder fits well while it shapes around giving me great support for my head.

You can adjust the firmness by adding or easily taking out air (this is done by pressing the little button inside the inlet portion of the valve. This also packs easily. Open the second portion of the valve to let out all the air.

I fold it small enough to fir the length of the stuff sack, then roll with the valve on the outside. It easily rolls small enough to fit in the stuff sack. Overall, if you are looking for a very compact air pillow that you can easily pack into your gear, this fits that bill.

I’ve had one of these for about 7 years. I write here today sadly because it finally developed a leak after making a “pop” sound and turning into a ball instead of its normal shape. It has been beaten on, MANY backpacking trips being inflated/deflated daily and shoved into my pack, airports, thru hikes, and more.

I’m here today to buy another one. Some complain about “handwash only” non removable cover, but even on the trail, if it needed to be cleaned I just inflated it, rinsed it in a stream and left it outside of my pack for the day to dry.

At home, do the same. Inflate, wipe gently with water and a little bit of detergent, and rinse off. Allow to dry. For the comfort, weight and ease of packing/use, this pillow is a 10/10 in my book!.

This pillow covers my eyes very comfortably and is additional cushioning at back of my head on my regular pillows. So very soft but really sturdy. Awesome, wonderful and best buy ever!!!!.

Received as a gift after my previous air mat sprung a leak and went to the great beyond. This one has held up to several rugged backpacking trips and fits nicely into my pack. Even after a week and a half it still holds air and blows up nicely.

It is the most comfortable air mattress. It takes 25-30 puffs not 10-15 puffs of air, unless you are Hercules. That being said it does blow up quickly and stays blown up. No middle of the night refill.

Zzzz. Side note, all of these air mats will stretch and need refilling the very first night. It is easy to clean and does not retain stink, no matter how smelly a certain person’s is. The refolding is in thirds, but I find it easier to double over and stick it into the stuff sack with a bit hanging out.

It’s really quick and easy that way. This air mat has survived for 2 years, with numerous trips in the Grand Canyon and elsewhere without a leak.

Haven’t used this new one yet. I have the same pad I previously purchased at a higher price, which i love. It fits in my overnight pack, inflates quickly, adds enough padding between me and the earth.

It really makes overnight backpacking more comfortable.

I received the Klymit Static V from Big5 Sporting Goods. I’m not sure what I received because it had a twist valve, which Klymit website says only comes from pads purchased at Costco or Sam’s. The stuff sack it came with had a bar code stuck on top of another bar code, and neither seemed to match any Klymit Static V pad online.

Klymit website also said it’s ready pump accessory does not fit the twist valve, but the stuff sack I received said it does. I just get the impression that I was sold an older version or a factory outlet version that wasn’t advertised as being older or a 2nd.

I expected a different, better valve.
