So the reason why I am rating this as a 5/5 is because it has been the only lotion that could make my strawberry skin smooth. I had very bad strawberry skin on my legs, upper thighs, and back of my arms.

I tried every lotion I could and nothing. Until I read a review from someone with bad strawberry skin that this was the only thing that smoothed out their skin. And boy! They weren’t wrong! You can still kind of see my strawberry skin on my upper thighs but it feels smooth !!! The lotion doesn’t have fragrance since it is fragrance free and contains various exfoliants as well.

It is more on the thicker side too. I apply it after I shower but sometimes the lotion kind of stings/irritates my skin since I shave in the shower, but it only lasts for a minute so it’s fine 🙂 Definitely recommend!!!.

I have an ongoing tumultuous relationship with this lotion. It’s a love/hate thing. I hate it while I’m using it, but I love it afterwards. It’s almost like a slow-acting gommage? Let me explain. Positives: This definitely does a good job of sloughing off dead skin.

I always feel that any bumps from KP and/or ingrown hairs are less noticeable afterwards. The exfoliating acids in this are definitely effective, but it moisturizes well too, so my skin isn’t left feeling dry or tight.

Negatives: It’s marketed as non-greasy, which I find to be untrue. It “absorbs” (I’m using this word loosely, as I explain below) relatively slowly– maybe an hour or so on my very dehydrated legs, a bit longer on more hydrated areas.

Rate of absorption also depends on the area’s exposure to air post-application. Personally, I can’t keep this lotion anywhere on my skin that regularly touches different surfaces because it’s so sticky.

I find things like dog hair and random bits of paper sticking to my legs, which isn’t a great look, so I never use this on my legs if I’m planning on wearing shorts or a skirt. Even after it “absorbs,” I’m left with a bit of sticky residue.

Underneath, however, is the veritable promised land of silky skin. I’ve found the best practice is to either (a) put this on right before bed for maximum absorption before washing it off in my morning shower or (b) leaving it on for about an hour, then rubbing it off of my skin in small circles, like you would with a gommage peel.

It’s a very gross, satisfying experience seeing all the dead skin and leftover product pill up and roll off. Ultimately, I’d recommend it, but probably not as an everyday lotion. It is not lightweight, but it is effective.

This product was EXTREMELY disappointing. I typically LOVE Gold Bond products. I was excited to have a lotion that I didn’t have to pump or squeeze out of a container. Unfortunately this lotion was horrible.

If you don’t rub it into your skin enough it leaves a sticky residue similarly to half-dried glue on your skin. If you do rub it in there is still an odd, somewhat dry texture to your skin. It also has an interesting smell to it.

I will certainly not be purchasing this again. If I could I return it!.

There’s a lot of pro’s and con’s with this product. The product itself does not feel like a cream. It’s more of a clay texture. The smell strong and funky, but this stuff works!! When I have a small zit or a pimple arising, I apply a small amount on the area before I sleep.

Smaller zits are gone instantly overnight and for larger ones, it helps accelerate getting smaller. This does not absorb into your skin- you will see a white color after applying and even after you try to rub it in.

That’s why I personally use it as a spot treatment. This works better than the Peace Out pimple patch. I have very oily skin so this stuff balances my texture out as it truly does absorb all the oils.

I wouldn’t recommend it for dry skin because the area you treat will probably dry out or flake fast unless you constantly moisturize. I used it when I was going through hormonal acne. I barely break out now but still works well for me.

This is decent, but drys out your skin to the upsetting point, so I’d just break out all over again. Packaging is messy, and drys up fast. I would definitely 100% reccomend the cucumber and tonic mask from this line instead.

It gets the job done and keeps skin anti-inflamed. When I first stumbled along this line there was one frustration I immediately had- this brand has FAR too many products which are very of similar taste.

It confuses buyers and makes me want to buy elsewhere, where I can get multiple beniefts out of one miracle product. This brand isn’t terrible, but you spend a fortune to get a routine that isn’t as pristine as it seems.

also, the cucumber aloe spray is not good for your skin. And makes it sting. Stay away from these bad skin trends!.

I got this as a mini sample inside of their acne kit at my local Ulta Beauty. I immediately tried it when I got home because I’m always on the hunt for a good acne product. I have suffered from adult acne for the last four years, even though I had almost perfect skin throughout my teenage years with little to no acne except around that time of the month.

I noticed that when I spot treat with this product, it greatly reduces the size, redness, and overall appearance of the pimple within just a couple of hours, but I choose to sleep in it overnight. If I put it on open acne wounds, they are completely flat when I wake up with little to no redness, and are easy to cover with makeup.

If the acne is not yet opened when I apply the cream (like if it’s just the start of a traditional pimple, or if I’m dealing with those pesky cystic or hormonal breakouts), then this cream has little effect on it.

which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But I have found a little hack that probably isn’t the best for my skin, but it provides quick results. I will take my tweezers, and tweeze off the top of the regular pimples, not cystic or hormonal ones, and then apply the cream.

Just by opening the top layer of skin, it allows the product to penetrate the blemish and really get in there to start working it’s magic. That way I will awaken with flat skin instead of huge breakouts.

If it’s a deep nodule, cyst, or hormonal breakout I will NOT pick at it because it only exacerbates the problem. I will still apply the cream to those types of breakouts, but like I said, it has little effect on them.

I feel like this product is perfect for people with traditional acne, and it can reduce the time that hormonal breakouts stay on the skin. I can’t live without this product! I’ve already repurchased it twice! It’s kind of on the pricier side, but it’s totally worth it for a true quality product.

Plus, you really only need the tiniest bit for each pimple. I have only had to purchase two jars, on top of my mini sample in the last 18 months, and I have constant breakouts. Like unfortunately I use it every night bc I always have at least 2-5 pimples on my face at all times.

I highly recommend! Now if I could just find something to stop the acne altogether.

This product had saved my skin. Two years ago I started using Curology prescription retinol and at first my skin looked a little rough. Between the retinol and having dry skin during the winter months I didn’t know how to get my flaky dry skin under control.

I knew I didn’t want to stop taking the retinol because I had heard so many good things so I started researching. I came across this Paula’s Choice product. I at least had to give it a try. It said it was good for dry skin and that’s what I had.

I started using that two years ago and I’ve been using it every morning since. With Curology I the evening and Paula’s Choice in the morning my skin looks so good. I get so many compliments and I know that this is one of the products that’s helped.

This helps to keep me from getting flaky skin. It’s gentle enough to use daily but so effective that I never seem to have dry patches anymore. Even during the winter months when my skin is the driest.

This product just sluffs away all of the flakiness. I’ll never go without this product.

I think this is possibly the first (maybe second) review I have ever made on a product. But I had to come on here and really tell someone (other than my family) about this. I’ve struggled with my skin since young adult life.

It was never terrible, but definitely something I would get insecure about from time to time when I’d get bad breakouts. And that started happening way more frequently as I was getting older which was weird because don’t you expect BETTER skin after those awkward teen years? I never found the right combination of products to elevate my skin from being bumpy, uneven, clogged pored, to really being confident with or without makeup.

I ordered this a few weeks ago and. let me tell you. It has really made the biggest impact with unclogging those awful nose pores. And has made my skin so much more even than I’ve seen it in years. My skin is also VERY sensitive and this does not irritate it one bit.

I would also recommend applying the liquid with your fingers and not a cotton pad to really get all of the product into your skin (a tip I used from another fellow reviewer). Pretty disappointed. Cerave reaaally needs to specify which products are for face and which are for body. There’s zero indication on the bottle that says it’s for your body – it uses the same wording as most of cerave’s other products.

So you can’t tell when you buy the product in the store. I’ve been putting this on my face and wondering why my skin has been exponentially more oily even when only using a tiny bit. I saw the product in the store thinking it was for people like me and was like “yes! Something for textured faces!” But that’s not the case and I’ve only found out once coming to the website.

Please change your packaging to note which products go where. I strongly don’t recommend putting this product on your face unless you want your skin to be an ocean of oil. It doesn’t absorb into the skin well, and I’ve used who knows how many blotting sheets and paper towels trying to dry my face off from oils.

I probably look like I’m constantly sweating to all the people I work with haha. So I’m giving this a solid one star for how bad it is on the face. BUT my arms are super rough and have lots of little bumps, so I’m going to try using it on my body like it’s intended and see what happens.

I’m much more optimistic about how that will turn out since I’ve now heard that it’s really good for that. Then I’ll write another review for that experience.

I really liked this lotion but there were some catches for me. This lotion started to irritate my skin a lot and purge a little too harshly. It could be the way my skin is but I do get a little irritated from this.

I wouldn’t say it’s unbearable though. It’s tricky how I feel because initially I feel hydrated and I know I’m getting exfoliating benefits but if I use it everyday it dries my skin way too much so i’d have to alternate with a different moisturizer which means another moisturizer to buy and have on hand.

I feel they could’ve done better with this one, however, there’s no way it’s the worst out there or even close to being bad. Still has a nice texture, good ingredients, and ceramides. I would say it’s best suited for oily skin.

I like that it’s non comedogenic so you probably can use this on your face too!.

I discovered this moisturizer from its amazing reviews and never looked back. It is the only product that has ever been able to moisturize my dry skin, control and minimize my blackheads and congestion, and prevent my flakey dry patches.

It’s light and not too heavy or greasy but gets the job done when it comes to hydration. You can also use it all over your body, the key to this product is that it also has a small amount of salicylic acid in it, and it helps exfoliate and renew skin cells, which combats dry patches and excessive dryness, as well as preventing blackheads and treating existing congestion.

It’s my holy grail moisturizer always, and it’s super reasonable and can usually be found at your local drug store as long as it’s not sold out because it is so well loved.

Surprised this doesn’t have a higher rating. For me it’s been a real game changer. I ordered this on a whim and thought it would be more of a cleanser that you wash off, but was surprised to realize that you leave it on like a lotion.

At first I was worried that leaving it on the skin would be damaging, but it didn’t irritate my skin in the least. I do use a lotion with it as it’s not moisturizing by itself. But honestly this has been an unexpected game changer for me.

It truly does exfoliate better than anything else I’ve tried, and I’ve tried a lot of things. I’ve always had a terrible problem with flaky dead skin on my face that doesn’t fall off on its own. I was having to use multiple tools to exfoliate the dead skin on my face on a daily basis.

Since I have been using this I rarely have to manually exfoliate. Which is such a blessing as my skincare routine time has been cut back considerably and makeup goes on so much smoother. I use this product about 5 or 4 times a week.

Sometimes under my lotion, sometimes on top depending on how many times I wash my face that day. I just never put it on if I know I’m going to be leaving the house as it can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

I don’t know if this will work for everyone but it truly has helped my dead skin problem tremendously and it has made my skin smoother and helped minimize fine lines a little. I’m very impressed with this product and would highly recommend giving it a try.

This is a solid exfoliating serum that has the added benefit of hydration. I’ve had some pilling happen with other Cera Ve serums under makeup, but not this one! Also, to the person who is saying it smells “horrible” and that it “isn’t fragrance free like they said it was” is a ridiculous statement on many levels.

The fact that it smells “horrible” (which I don’t even agree with- the NATURAL scent is very mild) is BECAUSE OF it being fragrance free. They don’t add bad-smelling fragrance to products, that would completely defeat the purpose.

The reason why so many companies use fragrance is because of people like you who complain about the product smelling bad when it’s fragrance free. There is no fragrance added. That’s on their list of claims and Cera ve does massive numbers, so they’re very visible to the FDA and they don’t claim blatant lies.

Who cares if it has a “chemical smell” anyway if it works? Think a little bit before trashing a product and accusing a brand of illegal claims.

I’ve been using this for almost 6 months now and it has been a great step towards clearer skin for me. I have transitioning skin (used to be really oily, now its more combo/normal) and have always had cystic acne.

Since using this, I don’t get those deep nodules anymore. I do still get some surface level blemishes (like 3-5 “sprinkle sized” whiteheads around my jaw) related to hormone fluctuations, but they are treatable with topical spot treatments where they cysts I used to get were not.

I used to feel like there was nothing I could do about my breakouts because most topicals don’t treat active cysts/inflammatory acne, but going a more preventative/upkeep rout has made all the difference.

I think it has really helped my dead cells shed more regularly without the irritation I experience with any kind of physical exfoliant (I’m talking even a washcloth), which I’m guessing is why I’m not getting those deep unreachable nodules anymore.

My skin has become more sensitive in the past few years and I can’t rely as much on salicylic acid and benzol peroxide as I did in my teens, but this has given me no problems! My thoughts?: When I researched the ingredients of this before my first use, I inwardly cringed. I thought certainly that it would be a harsh, drying serum. I was wrong. First, I don’t classify this as a serum— to me, it feels more like an essence.

However, the number of oils in this product do push it toward the end of your skincare routine, because oils make it difficult for other ingredients to penetrate the skin. I used this when I got out of work, to be honest.

I would double cleanse, use a toner, then apply this by itself to do its job for several hours before my night time routine, found it relatively effective that way. This is also extremely gentle; again, this may be in large part due to the oil ingredients along with the centella asiatica and other soothing properties.

I recommend this to people with sensitive skin, or who are new to exfoliating chemicals. I found this wasn’t a good match for me, not because its not a good product but because I need something with a bit more “oomph”.

I received this product for free from Influenster and Neostrata in exchange for my honest review. UPDATE: I have continued to use this product and have now completely fallen in love! My skin has become softer than it’s ever been! My pores look smaller, my acne is dissipating, scars are lightening.

I have used this together with the serum and I have seen a massive difference in the quality of my complexion! This is a new staple in my routine! The results were a subtle build and I am glad that I stuck with the process.

Definitely a recommendation to anyone wanting to lighten scarring and even out skin tone and texture! I use this cleanser every day in the morning and in the evening after removing my makeup. The cleanser is a very luxurious and creamy texture that doesn’t really foam.

The formula is extremely gentle and I don’t notice any burning or tingling or irritation with its use. I like the cleanser because there is a noticeable difference in the darkness of my acne breakouts as they heal.

It seems to fade any scarring much more quickly. I have also noticed an increased smoothness on previous areas of texture, so that is a great benefit! I will say that the effects are somewhat subtle and it did take a few weeks for me to really recognize it as it seems to build its effectiveness with consistent use.

Many skincare products do take time to work, so that isn’t a dealbreaker for me! I would recommend this to anyone dealing with textured or rough skin and/or healing breakouts or previously scarred skin.

This line is pretty much my go to! I try other products but always end up coming back to this line. My dermatologist first introduced me to Neostrata back in the late 80’s and have been a fan ever since.

This cleanser is certainly no exception as I have purchased this 2 times now. Cleanser is very gentle even on overly reactive skin. Does not cause any irritation or redness from using. I use this on average of 2-3 times a week now although in the past I was using it every day.

My skin really feels clean after this, and I can really tell the difference when I do not use this. Skin tone is a lot more even and not so blotchy, rinses clean and it takes a very small amount to obtain results.

As with all Neostrata products, the list of ingredients are very beneficial for all skin types, and I love that most of the line is fragrance free which means no irritation on my reactive, rosacea prone skin.

ok so let’s discuss this Ultra bright cleanser and vitamin c serum i received to review by Neostrata. This brand was new to me, so please tell me if you have heard of it! The 15% Vitamin C + PHA Serum promises to work like the average vitamin C product- brighten and help visibly fade dark spots.

The serum is thin and the smell is faint, which was surprising because i usually hate the way vitamin c products smell. I did not see any major changes, as i only had 3 weeks to review, but i did NOT harm my skin in any way.

there was no irritation. The Ultra Brightning Cleanser smelled amazing. it was gentle yet effective with the main ingredient being 6% Neoglucosamine, which states it targets dark spots that can cause the skin to be uneven.

This could be true over time, however again, you wont see any major changes in 3 weeks. Ill keep using the product and revisit this conversation in a month or so to update if it is worth the purchase, i cant give a fair assessment on just 3 weeks of use.

Pic is of my bump-free arm which is now smooth as a baby’s butt. This cream is my go-to body exfoliator. Throw out those harsh, physical scrubs guys because this is honestly all you need. Simple and straightforward ingredients, fragrance free, noncomedogenic.

I currently only need to use this on rough patches (knees, elbows, feet) or the occasional (fortnightly) exfoliation of my legs and arms or butt/back. SA is also great for acne and breaking up oil and dead skin cells clogging the skin, so it’s beneficial for those battling body breakouts.

I do not use this as a moisturiser, for that I prefer the Cerave Moisturising Cream. It is primarily an exfoliant, and BHAs aren’t necessary for everyday use on normal skin. For most skin types, when accompanied by a gentle, hydration-focused routine, you’ll have baby soft skin in no time.

I applied this to my sister’s Keratosis Polaris (chicken skin) on her arms an hour after showering at night (it is best used on skin that’s had time to dry properly) and once more in the morning every day.

This treatment has smoothed out her skin too and had a great effect on her mental health because of it. Be cautioned it does contain Salicylic Acid which is a BHA or chemical exfoliant, and therefore it is important to stay sun safe and use sunscreen every day when using this product.

Which we should all be doing anyway, so no skin off my back there (haha, get it?. I’ll let myself out).

Time to review this one. I have been using this cream on my arms,legs and most of the body for more than two weeks now. I like how thick it is, it does a great job moisturising my dry skin. The cream coats the skin,leaving a non sticky but smooth layer,which helps to moisturise and exfoliate the skin for 24h, so 10points for moisturising! It did a very good job with keratosis pilaris on my arms,all the bumps are gone, it also removed the tiny red dots from my bum :).

As you can see in the video, my legs need some more treatment, I am not sure if it can completely heal strawberry legs. The scent is almost nonexistent, a little medical, but you don’t smell like farmacy after using this.

Actually I am very happy that I tried this one, and no doubt will continue buying it, it just really does a great job softening and moisturising my skin, even if it can’t completely heal the strawberry legs(they are completely soft but you can still see the tiny red dots).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! Definitely a holy grail in my skincare routine, and much better than the normal moisturizing lotion. The SA, (salicylic acid), completely transformed my skin. As an exfoliant, it’s gentle enough for everyday use and doesn’t irritate my skin at all.

My skin gets very dry, especially during the winter, with dry patches throughout my arms and back. This is the only product that’s helped clear them up completely! Also, I have really dry feet, and I put this on to soothe them up and always does the job.

It’s completely unscented, which I love, and lighter than most creams. Also, you’ll feel it actually absorbed into your skin, and not just sitting on top of it. Even during the summer, when I’m sweating I don’t feel slippery.

This cream will also help even out your skin, and make it all supple. I use it daily, day and night, right after I get out of the shower. During the night, I mix it with my favorite body oils for even extra hydration.

This normally only lasts me for about a month to two months. For the price, I find this completely worth it. I’ve repurchased this several times and will continue to do so.

I’ve been using this product for 2/3 weeks daily before I go to bed. I was left with really deep pitted scaring all over my cheeks after experiencing nodular cystic acne. The pitted scars now do not appear as deep and in fact look like they’re closing up.

It’s certainly minimised the appearance of how deep and wide they were previously and I’m hoping with continued use they will completely close. The texture of the product itself is so silky and leaves the skin feeling very smooth.

It’s worked wonders for my self esteem too! Please note I’m also using this in conjunction with a azealic acid nightly to also reduce dark pigmentation from scarring and prevent any new acne from occurring.

Works great! Definitely give it a few weeks before making a judgement. I get random flare-ups or hormonal acne that attacks my entire jawline/cheeks and leaves awful scarring. Within 3 weeks, over half of the scars are gone, and all of them are faded.

I’ve had acne for 20 years and have recently decided to try to clear my face once and for all. I am currently using Differin gel every third night and this azalaic acid on the other two nights inbetween.

This has really been helping me. The Differin gel alone was doing its job but I was experiencing a mild-moderate ‘purge’ and started to get flashbacks to the days when my acne was really active. For this reason I nearly stopped the Differin altogether.

I had been using the azalaic acid before I started Differin (I was advised to stop it when I started the retinoid by my prescriber) and remembered how much it calmed my skin down and stopped the inflammation.

It was at that point that I started using it alongside the Differin – applying the azalaic acid for two nights and then the Differin on the third. Since starting this (5 weeks ago) my skin looks visibly better every day.

I’m still experiencing a very mild purge on the night that I use the Differin, but after putting on the azalaic acid the next night, the spots are significantly less angry (and in the case of the smaller ones, disappear completely) and my hyperpigmentation from previous spots is visibly brighter the next day.

I was originally planning on trying to build up my retinoid to every night and getting a stronger percentage of azalaic acid; however, this is going so well, I think I’m going to leave things as they are.

If the rate of improvement continues, I think that my skin will be completely clear and most of the scars will be gone in the next 3-6 months. I’m so glad I found this – especially at such a great price! If anyone using it experiences dryness or irritation, I recommend using it over a light moisturiser.

This is what I do (sensitive skin) and it has stopped the small amount of dryness I was experiencing but is no less effective on the acne!.

So far so good. Heard wonderful things about alpha-arbutin from professional YouTube creators. This is known to help with hyperpigmentation. This product also includes HA, which is a good form of hydration and skin moisturizing benefits.

Recommend still using a moisturizer on top to seal in the HA. I have not used it long enough to notice a permanent reduction in dark spots, however I do like that my skin looks very hydrated and dewy after applying.

Will repurchase. Also this product can be layered with other actives, however seek professional advice before doing so. I am doing a total revamp of my skin care products, started because I was running low, ran out, or products expired, which is great because I was using products that were not great for my skin type and had harsh ingredients and scents.

Also since watching and researching skin care it is now more important to me then ever. My prior skin care products I purchased from esthetician’s, and with me not being properly educated in what my skin truly needs (especially for skin of color which is way more sensitive) I was using products I had high sensitivity too or again that were to harsh for my skin type.

I also started reading the inky list (ingredients) myself. As someone who developed acne at 29 years old, I have no prior knowledge. I’m truly learning as if I am a teenager. I forgot how sensitive my skin used to be, but thinking because now I’m acne prone that my skin sensitivity just went away.

I will officially have a skin analysis from a dermatologist, I do believe I am “combination leaning towards oily, acne and hormonal prone, with sensitivity. Regardless I want to treat my skin as if it were sensitive, one reason being I am highly sensitive to many popular skin care ingredients, for example Niacinamide.

Never cared really for Glycolic Acid, come to find out it can be very harsh for skin of color. Needless to say this product did not cause any irritation therefore we already starting off well.

Yikes, this product is strong!!!! I have been using chemical exfoliants for years (AHA and BHA) and my skin is quite tolerant, but this product took me by surprise! First use, felt like my face would burn off and nothing would make the intense burning stop – I was unable to use my retinol or vit C products for the next couple days.

I waited a week for my skin to heal before trying again. Using once weekly, by the fourth application my skin has adjusted/accepted this product. With a cotton pad I apply ONE swipe over face/neck taking care to avoid double dosing an area.

I can now use this product sparingly once-weekly as part of my regular routine with no adverse effects. I’ll try twice weekly next, but I doubt this will be my nightly treatment. My skin feels incredibly soft, and hopefully over time the brightening effects will begin to show.

I would recommend this product if your skin tolerates chemical exfoliants very well and you want to try something stronger!.

Wow! I was extremely impressed with this product! It made my skin so smooth soft and brightened my skin almost immediately! Gives off that radiant look which is perfect for your no makeup days and you just want that extra glow! It also sensitive skin friendly! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the packaging, it’s completely open so when you pour it there’s nothing to slow it down and if you drop it your screwed bc it would pour out, and For that price id be extremely upset if that happened, so be carful when opening! Other than that it’s amazing and I’d still definitely recommend!!.

This product is great to cleanse your skin. When you apply to cotton ball, regardless if you have used a cleanser prior, it always picks up any residual debris from my face. This product really helps to keep my ance or whiteheads at bay.

I have been using it for over a year, and I have notice a significant change in my skin texture and with my acne issues. A total game changer!.

Here’s the deal- I’ve tried many cheap and many expensive skin products for my acne prone skin. I’ve struggled with acne for the last 16 years and it’s gotten worse for after having my children and my hormones going out of whack post partum.

I have oily skin, cystic acne, white heads, blackheads, you name it- out of desperation I started to use different products in conjunction with one another and I’ve found that this serum is the best for cell turnover.

It takes time to work- imo it took 2 full months for my skin to completely cycle through and now I have clear skin. I also use clinic blackhead scrub, clinic acne toner, and proactive step 3 treatment and I find that when I rotate products my skin doesn’t get immune to them.

I also use my curology formula at night with this serum and I swear I just cannot live without this- out of all the steps in my routine this is it. Blackheads are GONE. I have never in my life not had blackheads until now.

Never. Sometimes on my period when I feel an inkling of a cystic pimple start all it takes is 2 nights of this serum and it goes away without ever surfacing. Amazing. Also the 1oz has lasted me 7 months.

I am so thrilled about that! I have used this serum and repurchased it, so you know I love this stuff! So let me start by saying that I have oily skin and horrible texture, and through my skincare journey I discovered that for skin like mine glycolic acid is the hero ingredient.

And guess what?! T. L. C. Framboos is packed with, not only glycolic acid, but also a cocktail of lactic, tartaric, salicylic and citric acids. An oily/textured girl’s dream team. I love to use this gel serum straight, or by mixing it with other serums when I want to boost their potency.

Drunk Elephant designs their products, so they can be mixed together resulting in your own special secret sauce. A definite bonus in my book. Honestly, I can’t think of anything I don’t like about this gem.

I would say that the only negative is the price tag at $90 for 1oz of product. Having said that, it lasts a very long time, since you need only a small amount of the serum. My previously purchased bottle lasted almost a year.

This product will definitely exfoliate dry skin, just don’t use it daily, as it is strong & will do the job fast & with conservative usage. I use it all over my body, focusing on arms, hands, legs and feet.

I’d recommend using it only once or twice a week to start in order to gauge how it works for you. I have fairly dry, flakey skin that isn’t helped any by the dry air in Alberta! I have found this product quickly takes the flakes away much faster & more effectively than Paula’s Choice 10% AHA body lotion, which I had been using daily.

I’m going to stick with this Glytone Exfoliating lotion from now on. This product is even amazing at exfoliating thick flaking heels, although you may not notice it until you shower – if you gently use fingernails & pads of fingers, or a foot file, you’ll see a bunch of old thick skin come away to quickly reveal a much improved skin texture.

My hands and wrists are often extra dry & flakey due to cleaning and frequent hand washing. When I first bought this product, I used it nightly for a few days & ended up with redness and a bit of almost rawness at one wrist.

I don’t blame the product however, as I was using it just as I had with the other lower AHA percentage lotion (nightly). Once or twice a week will do – again because it is very effective & faster working.

I highly recommend this product to anyone with flakey skin. Just go slow with it. I have no problems with it when I use it once or twice a week instead of nightly.

I have been trying this Olay Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Booster Serum every day for the past like 2 weeks. I want to start off by saying when I look this product up online the bottle is brown and the serum inside appears to be brown or clear, however the product in mine is like a milky white consistency.

It is a lightweight siIky feeling to it. I like that it has no fragrance, I actually love that it has no fragrance. The product feel so good when I apply this to my skin I actually am excited to put it on at the end of everyday it just feels so hydrating and silky and makes my skin feel plump.

Now speaking on the product claims for the salicylic acid part I am not entirely sure if it is doing much. Maybe the longer I use it I will see a difference but so far I have only noticed a small change in the appearance of my pores only on my nose they were clogged when I started using it and so far I have noticed they are getting a little clearer but other than that haven’t noticed anything amazing.

My skin for the most part still looks the same. It does feel a little smoother though. I have noticed a few small pimples rise but not sure if it’s hormonal or maybe my skin doing a tiny bit of purging.

I wouldn’t say I’m sold on the serum just yet so do not know if I would repurchase or recommend for the exfoliating claims but I would say if you wanted a nice serum that felt really good and hydrating then you might love this one.

Especially if you have combo skin like I do. I bet if this serum was cold it would feel even better but I have heard putting your skincare in the fridge can diminish the quality of the ingredients so I don’t know.

This winter’s weather, dehydrating dry heating in the house, and entering my late 30s has really done a number on my skin.

I really like this Salicylic Acid Serum, Exfoliating Booster. I’m not entirely sure what I expected, since it’s from Olay, a drug store brand, but this is really nice. Its a white, watery sort of serum, not thick or sticky.

It has no smell, at all. I really appreciate that, I’m a bit sick of fragrance in skin care. The texture makes it easy to put where you want it. I tend to have breakouts around the lower part of my face one week a month due to hormonal changes.

When I saw the first signs of a breakout this time, I put this serum just on the part of my face just below my nose down to my chin. It absorbs so nicely, and didn’t have any issues mixing with my regular moisturizers.

After 2 days my face was back to normal. This can be used to exfoliate your whole face, but I find that using salicylic acid on my face when I don’t have a breakout tends to be drying. I use other products for regular weekly chemical exfoliation, but if you have acne, or hormonal breakouts, this is really a really great, high quality product at a drug store price.

I received this product free from pinch me, but it has become part of my regular skincare rotation.

This product has been a game changer for me. I used to just expect my acne spots to take a week or more to heal but now sometimes they are healed within days with this product! I’m blown away! I use this all over instead of using it as a spot treatment.

I wish that they could make this product thinner like a serum and give more product in the tube. This lasted me less than a month. Selling a Half an ounce of a skincare product is just crazy. It is very thick and in order for me to rub it all over my face it takes a lot of effort.

That could damage my skin to rub it like that. Please make this a thinner consistency or make a different serum but with the same ingredients and more product in the tube.
