My 18 yo son has been fighting with acne since he was in 9th grade. its left scars– which saddens me because hes very handsome. I was browsing at Ulta and I went to get Mario Badesco’s Silver Powder for myself.

so I thought I would look for something for him. He usedT. Taio Esponjabon soap and Mario Badesco Anti Acne Serum. The 2 helped really reduce his breakouts. I wad amazed!! We’ve tried a lot in the past, rx products, Benzoyl Peroxide products, Salicylic Acid products– nothing worked much except these 2.

He still uses both, but my only gripe is that he goes through the Anti Acne Serum WAY too quickly. Maybe he had more “territory” to cover– i have no idea. But this will be an every 3-4 wk purchase for us.

Either way– I just want the acne under control so we can start to work on the scarring. All in all, this product worked well for our family– as does most Mario Badesco products. Give it a try. If it doesn’t work, you can always return it to Ulta with a receipt or with your rewards info.

50 for a BUNCH of little sample products! This stuff works. I’ve never had acne but my face recently has been getting little bumps with no heads, and I don’t know why. This stuff took those bumps away! I pair it with seaweed cleanser,cleansing lotion and seaweed night cream!.

I have been using this barrier cream in addition to the other two Rael miracle clear products (cleanser and toner) and I am pleasantly surprised at how well it’s been keeping my skin clear. This moisturizer is very hydrating and absorbs quickly into my skin (I would say I have combination skin).

The cream is on the thicker side, so a little goes a long way. It also works well with my primer and foundations – I like to have a matte finish. Leaves my skin soft and with a subtle glow at nighttime.

Would definitely repurchase!.

This barrier cream made my skin very soft afterwards and was great for my oily/acne prone skin. Didn’t leave me greasy/didn’t cake off and kept my breakouts at bay. Was a bit watery so it took a little longer to absorb though.

Also, had no soothing scent to go along with the positive effects of it. Other than that though, I highly recommend this cream as it is very effective.

Wow wow wow! The name miracle clear for this line is SPOT ON! It really is a miracle how fast these products can clear your skin and keep your skin clear. The only downside to this moisturizer is that it smells a little weird, but it’s not terrible and such a small price to pay for such a quality product.

It’s a soft cream texture that absorbs quickly and feels great going on. It moisturizes really well, while doing so much more as well. It leaves skin soft soft and smooth while looking so radiant and beautiful!.

These are the best acne wipes! My teenage daughter has tried a ton and says these work like nothing else. And on sale, they are a bargain; she cuts them in half to make them last longer. Definitely will be continuing to buy these.

I lost the beautiful skin gene lottery and I have had acne since I was 10 years old to now 30-something years old. Trust me – I have tried all the BP products and this one is the best and only one I will use.

It is non-irritating but stronger than the 2% normally offered in the drugstore. After going to dermatologists, estheticians, etc. and paying for over-counter, high-end, and prescription (i. e. retinol) skincare products, I have found that using a salicylic acid (2% for me but 1% would probably work for others) during the day and using this benzoyl peroxide (no higher than 5% and applying after moisturizer) at night works the best.

I still get redness because I use both SA and BP but stopping either at this point results in breakouts. For people just starting, I recommend just using BP at night (or even every other night). If you dilute with moisturizer, the redness is minimal (and with this specific product, there is no irritation – peeling – which is amazingly rare for BP).

I’ve been using the oil free acne wash from neutropenia (the orange one) for over a decade, and it’s the only thing that worked at preventing and drying up my acne. When the acne proofing gel came out I was intrigued because it also contains 2% salicylic acid, and I really wanted to know what the difference was between both products.

I found it on sale at target and bought it. I used it for about a month and a half before I finally stopped. Since being on this product, I experienced the worst acne of my life. I’m 25 now and never had serious acne issues.

I’d get an occasional zit and blackheads but never anything that lead to cystic acne and scarring. I woke up almost every day with a new cystic pimple. They were deep, painful, and resistant to healing.

I bought different face serums and moisturizers thinking that maybe those were the culprits then I finally figured out that my acne problem started when I started using this face wash. Nothing else changed in my regimen.

As soon as I stopped it and restarted the oil free acne wash, my acne has been clearing up and I haven’t been experiencing those persistent and painful cystic pimples that I had while using the acne proofing gel.

I didn’t think this product would break me out like that because it contains 2% salicylic acid. I guess there’s something else in the formulation that wasn’t working for me. I thought I’d share my experience for anyone interested.

Now I have to battle these acne scars.

I wanted to post a review because when I researched this before purchasing I noticed most reviewers had been provided the product in exchange for a review which could skew their opinion. As stated, I purchased this with my own money.

That said, here are the “pros”: 1. This product has a fairly high percentage of salicylic acid compared to some other products (2%). 2. I had a pimple developing when I purchased the product and using it may have helped heal it (within 2 days) and prevent new ones from forming, but I must disclose that I have been using Neutrogena Naturals Acne Spot Treatment daily for the last year and so I was using the wash along with it (I bought this wash to give my the spot treatment an extra “boost” of salicylic acid).

3. It has not been irritating. In fact, when I am done washing my face I was shocked to notice that my skin is not red at all but instead more calm that before I washed it. 4. I didn’t feel that it stripped my skin or made it feel tight.

(I do recommend using a moistuizer afterward though as with any products that contain salicylic acid). There is a con, and a large one at that: 1. The smell. This scent is strong and smells is like men’s aftershave or body wash.

Not only does the fragrance smell strongly when you use it but I can actually smell this masculine scent on my face during the day after rinsing it off thoroughly. The bigger issue than the scent here is that I am sure Neutrogena is well aware that adding fragrance such as this only increases the potential for the product to be irritating to the skin, so why do it??? There is zero reason to add fragrance.

So if I will have to see if the benefits of this product outweigh having to go around smelling a strong masculine scent on my face throughout the day. Neutrogena, please reformulate this product and merely remove the unnecessary scent and it will be fantastic!.

I’ve used the SA cleanser, the hydrating cleanser, and the cream to foam cleanser from CeraVe and this is by far my favorite. For some reason the SA and cream to foam cleanser irritated my skin quite a bit and the hydrating cleanser made me feel like my face wasn’t all that clean and fresh.

This has been the perfect in between. I don’t get a lot of acne but do break out every once in a while and this cleanser definitely helps prevent that. I still get the occasional pimple but they’re tiny and don’t last long.

I have sensitive skin mostly on my cheeks and this cleanser does not cause more redness and irritation for me. I actually don’t even cleanse twice a day with this normally. I shower at night and cleanse and follow up with the CeraVe moisturizing lotion and my skin holds up well throughout the next day even in the more oily areas of my face.

Went through a time period with this cleanser where it was extremely hard to find but haven’t had issues finding it since then thankfully.

I have dry skin with large pores. I know, I’m an enigma. Now that I’m in my thirties I don’t get acne blemishes, but blackheads are the bane of my existence. I’ve found that the cleansers engineered to combat blackheads are too harsh on my delicate skin, making my skin peel.

However, I also have my 19-year-old brother staying with me and he loves to use my expensive, elite brand face wash so I wanted something that would help my skin, his skin, and not break the bank and we found it in this product.

So far, my skin has been clear with no dry patches. It’s so moisturizing it’s as if you don’t NEED a moisturizer. I said almost. ALWAYS MOISTURIZE. For an extra oomph for my greasy teenaged bro, we add dermalogica’s micro exfoliant and I’ll use the micro-exfoliant once or twice a week after a hard work out.

Something used by the whole family while staying in budget. Love.

Finally found the perfect cleanser for my face and skin type. I’ve already noticed a huge difference in overall oil reduction, texture, and clogged pores, so I’m pleased. I have combo oily/dry skin on my face, so some areas over produce oil and some areas are drier than a desert.

But a couple of things I noticed about this cleanser is it works really well to unclog the oily areas and keep them moisturized a bit. After about 4 days, I did notice the salicylic acid starting to work and my face was flaking off, but that’s what it’s supposed to do.

So I added some Jergens Ultra Healing lotion to my routine and WOW it’s effective. The dry parts of my face are moist, the oily parts are moist but not oily. Would recommend.

I received this as a tiny breakout was starting, and tried this following the toner. A few hours later I noticed the spot had flattened, so I was thrilled about that. I also like the product a lot for the ingredients.

They feel soothing but there’s also a nice herbal scent. The citrus, achillea, borage, calendula, parsley, fennel, tea treat, eucalyptus, and juniper make for a soothing yet bracing combination. (Some of the bracing-ness might be due to the alcohol in the product, as it dries.

) But I do like how the ingredients work together, especially the hints of fennel scent that emerge after applying. It works fast, it’s easy to use, and it doesn’t annoy my sensitive/normal skin. I also discovered one other side benefit, one that’s even better than the breakout assistance.

I got this as mosquito season is getting underway, and mosquitos have always feasted on me, leaving me with itchy red welts and bumps wherever they attack. Desperate, I tried the Burt’s Bees clarifying toner on the bug bites and then applied this spot treatment on top of that.

It provided some very welcome relief, and a few hours later I noticed the bug bites had reduced considerably. It’s honestly the best bug bite relief I’ve ever experienced. (And I’ve tried toothpaste, witch hazel, peppermint and tea tree oils, clove oil, hydrogen peroxide, antihistamine creams and other concoctions.

) This, hands-down, provides the best relief for my bug bites. I might be applying this behind my ears when I go outside to see if this treatment drives them away.

It is marketed as an acne spot treatment, but it looks and feels like a facial oil, so that is how i incorporated it into my skincare routine.

The product has a distinct herbal scent that is quite strong that some people may not care for, but I like it. I used this product at night since some acne products can cause irritation when out in the sun for long periods of time (which my job requires) and applied it by patting it on with my fingers in problem areas on my face and neck.

I decided to purchase this item as more of a dark spot corrector than actually treating acne. I only get acne around my time of the month so it’s not severe, however, my skin is weird that one or two pimples leave dark spots.

I’ve tried everything and nothing seemed to work. Recently someone pointed out that the “mole” on my forehead was getting bigger/darker and that I should check it out when in reality it was just a dark spot.

This is the most amazing product I have ever used to treat my acne! I’ve suffered from acne my whole life, but in just the past two years my face has been plagued with cystic acne on my neck, jawline and lower cheeks.

I have tried everything over-the-counter; been to the dermatologist and been prescribed topical creams and antibiotics to take ******. Nothing has worked! I was about to give up and just go on Accutane.

But because the possible side effects of Accutane scare me half to death, I decided to surf the interenet one last time. I came across Lerosset and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try.

Obviously this was not without hesitation first. I have spent so much money over the years on product claiming to treat my acne and nothing has worked. I did not want to waste more money on an empty promise.

But I gave in and bought the clay mask from Lerosset. The first night I used it my face was inflamed and covered in 11 (yes I counted) zits- some cystic and some not. I put on a thin layer of the clay mask and left it on for 3 hrs (unintentional, I feel asleep).

The mask is tight when it dries but was not irritating or bothersome. I feel asleep with it on no problem. When I woke up to wash it off my face had completely calmed down (was no longer inflammed) and every single pimple had reduced in size! I applied a little BP and when I woke up the following morning all my acne was gone except for a few cystic pimples! I am in amazement! I will continue to use this product and see if the results are long term, but so far this has been a God-send! I am writing this review because as someone who has struggled with acne and the embarrassment it brings, I believe everyone should be given the opportunity to know what really works and what doesn’t.

I’ve only been using this product for a month there has been no change in my acne but about a week and a half in I had to start using it only once a day instead of twice daily. Reasoning for this is because it really started drying out my skin.

The cleanser was, and still is making my face sting. It’s manageable but I don’t feel like your cleanser should make you skin sting at all. On the plus side it smells awesome and the mask makes my skin feel smooth I also love the moisturizers they don’t make my skin look or feel oily.

I’m 6 weeks into using this and don’t want to review prematurely, but absolutely already see and love the results and I didn’t expect a change so quickly. My face is very oily and acne prone. I use liquid extra strength salicylic acid AM only & 5% benzoyl peroxide serum AM & PM.

I’ve been using that routine of treatments for acne/oily skin for about 10 years and it kept my skin looking good, but not great. My oily skin started looking dull over the last few years and then I developed a bout of hormonal acne for a few months before starting this adapalene.

I first started using this product every other night and for the first 2 weeks my face peeled a min/mod amount, it never felt irritated and easily washed off AM/PM and my face never felt dry/peeling throughout the day if I stuck with my AM routine.

I started using this product about a year and a half ago. I discovered it on this Ulta website after viewing my face wash product, which is the La Roche Posay foaming facial cleanser. I was struggling with acne at the time and needed a good product to help with it.

I cam across the La Roche Posay Effaclair Adapelene Ance treatment. It is a light gel like cream that you apply directly on the acne. Overall this product changed my skin for the better ! The main strengths of this product are how it is effective, light weight, and long lasting.

I found this product to be very effective on my skin. My skin mainly struggled with blackheads and acne on certain areas of my face. It didn’t go away over night, however within weeks of using this product my skin improved a lot.

This product is also light weight. It is a gel like treatment, so it is very refreshing on the face when it is put on. I only use it at night due to its minimal exposure to the sun. Not only is is refreshing but it also tightens the skin and it feels smooth.

I find the acne treatment to be long lasting. A little goes a long way with this treatment. I use about a pea size amount for my entire face, so the entire thing lasts me about 4 months, sometimes more.

All of these factors really helped me continue the use of this product. This product also has it weaknesses, which are its side effects as well as its price. The product is effective, but that is because it is strong and that means there can be side effects.

With Obagi products, you always have to spread the product across the face, never rub it into the skin. This will give the most optimum affect. My pores are enlarged in certain spots, so I noticed that if I wash with cold water it doesn’t burn as much.

I’ve been using Obagi products for a while so my skin can take the toughness this one dishes out. If you wash face and then wait 10-15 min like it suggests, I put my face in front a fan to cool the skin, then I apply the two remaining products.

Then I go back in front of fan to let the product dry faster. This way, it doesn’t burn as long and as much. I’ve been using for a couple weeks, so the intensity of this product is starting to subside.

It is a very strong product to let you all know, but it works very well at making acne disappear! I don’t use it every day, just every couple of days. In the beginning I used it in morning and at night straight for three days to get the acne under control.

Most acne cleansers have a moisturizer in them, to keep them from drying out the skin. This makes me break out. This is the best cleanser I have ever found. Sometimes in winter it can be too drying, in which case I switch to the normal cream cleanser.

I received this as a #freeproduct from topbox circle as a part of the hello winter box. its a salicylic acid based face wash for blemish prone skin which i have! I was so close to repurchasing my regular salicylic acid cleanser from inkey list but this definitely is a strong competitor to it.

I spent the last 4 weeks trying out the Honestly Pure Retinyl Serum and you can see my skin looks more radiant and refined than ever. The formula has a thick oat milk consistency and is unscented. On application, I didn’t have any irritation and it felt soothing.

The formula went on smoothly in a thin even layer but dried down tacky and felt as if there was a film over my skin, almost giving you a tight mask sensation. Once I applied my moisturizer on top, the sticky residue dissipates, and my skin is left feeling hydrated and almost dewy looking.

Overall I would rate this serum a 4/5 – while I wasn’t a huge fan of the tacky residue feeling on my skin during application, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed this serum and will most likely be repurchasing when I can get my hands on it.

The first time I started using this it was AMAZING. Made my skin tone even and removed all the scarring and dark spots from acne. My skin had never looked better. BUT after my first bottle ran out I stopped using it for a bit.

Recently I started using it again but it doesn’t have the same effect on my skin anymore. It’s not damaging my skin but it’s also not improving it like it had the first time. I had high hopes from how amazing it was the first time but am looking for a different retinol now.

This little kit is so convenient for travel! It’s also been great to start my pre-teen on a first regimen for acne and skin care. It is gentle enough for every day and has given her clear results. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a simple clean skin care routine.

Refreshing. I love this cleanser so much! I am tired of using horrible chemical filled cleansers on my face that end up leaving it dry and irritated. I finally found this and it leaves my face feeling refreshed.

I love all of the ingredients and will definitely be getting more! As far as the acne, it hasnt completely cleared, but it seems controlled and I havent gotten the bad cystic acne since Ive been using this.

Ive only been using this for a couple weeks so well see what it does in the future. Im hoping in a few months my skin will adjust to this new product and be completely clear.

Elf’s rebrand has brought a lot of amazing changes. Besides the quality of the makeup skyrocketing, they’re now known for some the most affordable skincare at the drug store. As an avid supporter (and a member of the Icon tier) I was very excited to try this out.

I waited until the dreaded week before P Day to see how well this face wash would keep my pimples at bay. Right out of the box, it comes in the familiar pump bottle that we’re used to seeing. What I like is that it locks and unlocks with a short turn of the pump.

The face wash has no dyes or scent, so it perfect for those who enjoy clean beauty or have sensitive skin. As a wash, it lathers up decently without leaving you looking like you’re at a foam party and feels surprisingly clean even when just washing with hands.

I didn’t notice any excessive dryness either. It was a nice break from the scented products I normally use. As of now, the zits have been minimal. I’ve even seen some control around the areas prone to pimples or ingrown hairs looking smoother than they normally would (chain, sideburns, hairline, etc).

All in all, I would definitely suggest this product for anyone looking to add a simple wash to their daily line up.
