20 Best Products At Sally’S For Damaged Hair (2023 Updated)

I like this leave in conditioner it has a water like consistency. It has almost a fruity pineapple scent. It doesnt moisturize my hair but It is also an additional heat protection so it makes my life easier to not constantly try to buy a seperate heat protectant for styling.

It doesnt do much hydration at all but it does the job for a tiny extra bit of moisture. If youre someone that has low perosity hair i don’t recommend as it doesnt have much hydration properties at all but maybe for someone who has an oily scalp and want a more lightweight product this may be the one for you.

Overall I recommend this because it is a two in one as the heat protectant is a plus to the product.

I’ve used Nexxus products for many years and have always been pleased with the performance of the product. Nexxus Humectress conditioner is a staple for me. This particular Nexxus product, though, while a good shampoo, SMELLS HORRIBLE.

It’s like the worst “old lady perfume” smell that you could imagine, only worse! I don’t know what Nexxus was thinking!! Surely they could have given this shampoo a more muted and pleasing scent, like the hint of coconut in the Humectress conditioner, or some milk and honey, ginger, or almonds – I mean, almost anything would have been better than what they ended up with here.

And as expected, this shampoo is very pricey – I wouldn’t have even bought it if my regular Maui shampoo had been in stock. So just a warning that if you are sensitive to smells, this shampoo is not for you.

I’m not sure that I can keep using it, even after the $$$ I paid for it!.

I was hesitant to use this shampoo after smelling it, but the reviews are amazing. My hair wasn’t damaged, but I could use the extra healthy moisture from this shampoo. After my first use, I noticed my hair felt dryer and almost crispy.

I had just colored my hair the day before, so I figured it was that. I used it again 2 days later and it was worse, I now have split ends. I’m working on growing my hair out after damaging and buzzing it off a year ago, so I do not want to have to trim it.

I’m using tons of split end mending products now to fix what this shampoo did. Maybe it’s too strong for my hair? Well I usually look at ingredient labels, but after seeing reviews of not only this product, but the whole Nexxus line, I thought it wouldn’t matter.

The second most used ingredient is sodium laureth sulfate. A sulfate. Sulfates dry out hair like crazy. Ugh.

I have relaxed hair. I needed to add protein to my haircare (and lots, and lot of moisture) because I realized that my hair was spongy when wet and would break very easily. I did a two step protein treatment and it bounced my hair back, but I still needed a product that would offer protein, just not as intense as the two step regimen I did.

I tried this and though it did work in the sense that my curls started reforming, my hair wasn’t stringy etc, my scalp got really dry & flaky. With some research I learned that products with protein MUST be followed up with a moisturizing treatment that contains no protein, this is especially true for Afro texture hair.

So all in all, does it “work”? Yes. It’s it a deep moisturizer? No. It’s a protein treatment that makes your hair more responsive to moisturizing treatments.

I have unprocessed, fine 4a/4b shoulder blade-length hair ( a lot like NaturalReign’s if you know her yt) , and I was confused on its porosity for the longest time until I had a run in with light breakage, there I determined I had medium/high porosity hair since I didn’t have ANY protein in my entire regimen, only for a couple weeks, and it began to break.

I panicked and left my hair in a protective style for a minute until I could restyle w protein, and my mom gave me this mask, which she didn’t like, but I loved it!!! I mixed it with some honey btw, and I don’t mind the smell at all, smells like drugstore shampoo tbh.

It’s runny and applies like a really sudsy leave-in with lotsssss of slip, I could detangle with it if I wanted, its extremely hydrating and brought out definition in my hair. So much definition that the little bit of type 3 hair at the front of my head, which are usually a couple of larger, limp c-shape curls, were revitalized and turned into solid s-shape, 3c spirals, I wish I had a before photo of those curls specifically, they look like whole new curls tbh, I didnt realize they were always supposed to look like that, bits of 4b hair above my ears grew tighter as well, no other curl changes though.

I left the mask on for 8mins as a protein treatment, well beyond the suggested 3, and there was 0 brittleness, only a ton of hydration, softness, and definition, and I went right in w leave-in/gel after rinsing and got amazing definition still.

Idk yet if the breakage has stopped, I doubt it since it stemmed from strands with holes(lack of protein)/fairy-knots(just a part of coily hair) and only removal will stop the breakage, and this isn’t my best wash + go ever, but my coils do look and feel amazing, I feel bad that I slept on tgin for so long, this will definitely be a new staple of mine.

My hair gets very dry, like straw especially the ends. I did not use the recommended shampoo and conditioner, but I used this product once as directed and I noticed the difference immediately. My hair wasn’t oily or greasy.

It was soft, smooth and full of body. The ends of my hair were no longer dry. This product did what it said it would. I would buy it again and will continue to use it. the only drawback is the smell or fragrance.

It does have a strong smell that isn’t unpleasant but it isn’t a perfumey fragrance.

I was looking for a reasonably priced bond builder hair mask. I’ve been letting my hair grow out to its natural gray color. My hair looked and felt dry no matter what I did to it with conditioners, leave-in conditioners, and other hair masks.

I was also experiencing more breakage than when I colored and bleached my hair on a regular basis, about twice a year. I used this product last night and left it on overnight, as recommended for hair that required a ton of help.

I wrapped my hair in a t-shirt and wore it for 9-10 hours. After rinsing out my hair and shampooing and conditioning it as directed, my hair looks noticeably different today. It’s soft and smooth, and best of all, my curls have returned! For weeks, my curls have been limp, lifeless, stringy, and nearly straight.

I am very pleased with the product and the value for money when compared to other hair care brands. Some of the other bond builder hair masks cost twice as much as this one! The instructions also stated that I should use a large amount of the product on my hair.

My hair is thick and falls just below my shoulders. Despite globing on what appeared to be a large amount of product, I still have 4/5 of the jar left! The consistency was also excellent, and even with all of that product in my hair, it did not drip when I combed it with a wide tooth comb.

This product has absolutely changed the look of my hair! When I first purchased the product, I hoped that it would provide some TLC to my hair, which had become extremely dry and damaged as a result of the winter and keeping me away from my hairdresser.

Despite that I have no issues combing it afterwards and even without using a hairdryer I get thicker looking, volumised hair that lasts not just for one day but for two, in fact my hair looks just as good on day 2 as it did on day 1.

So when I say it’s life changing it really is – I no longer have to wash my hair every day, I don’t have to use a hairdryer every day either saving time, water and money. I use two pumps of the shampoo every other day and I still have product left in the bottle from starting use at the end of April.

I couldn’t recommend it more highly. I’ve bought some for my mum (from whom I inherited my hair thickness) who is also really impressed. It may seem a bit expensive as an initial outlay but I think I’m going to get 4 months of washes from one bottle so will definitely work out cheaper than a high street shampoo.

The shampoo will make your hair fear like elastic at first, but once you rinse and apply the conditioner (I apply at ends first and then remaining product at top of hair, but I never massage conditioner in) it will feel nourished and silky smooth.

When my hair dries, it looks bouncy, full, shiny, and hydrated. I have dry and sensitive skin/scalp/everything lol, and my hair is very thin. What makes it worse is I’m sensitive to stress so I get a lot of hair loss 🙁 After 4 months of using this product shampoo+conditioner, I noticed a huge difference.

I live in LA and the climate here is usually dry, and the water is very hard/harsh and not good for our hair. (The chemicals they use to clean the water is no bueno). If you’re giving this product a try, follow the steps and give your hair 1-2 weeks to adjust and about a month to see a change.

I was about to type, “Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but. ” But that’s nonsense. I’ve been washing my own hair for over 50 years, so I am confident that’s not the problem. Having said that? I am not getting good results from the Embody shampoo and conditioner.

My hair is thin, fine, straight, shoulder length, and never, ever heat-styled. As I’ve been doing for decades, I start cleansing at the scalp first, then work down the hair shaft, and start conditioner on the ends first, then work it UP the hair shaft.

Every time with Embody, I’m left with hair that is flat and quickly greasy at the scalp, and dried out and stringy at the ends. It’s a strange mix of results to say the least, like nothing I’ve ever experienced (if a product backfires on me, it’s usually one or the other)! On the plus side, both products are a pleasant sensorial experience to use.

The liquid textures are great, the shampoo lather feels silky, the conditioner does detangle well, and the scent is heavenly! That’s why I’m giving the line two stars. I will use up the bottles because I have them now, and returns are more of a hassle than I feel like dealing with.

I can (sort of) fix the issues I’m left with by bringing in a little dry shampoo at the roots, and some leave-in product I already have for the dry ends. It’s not like I have to wear a paper bag over my head to leave the house.

I recently purchased this to go with the scalp shampoo and am happy I did. It seems to melt in and smooth straight away so you don’t feel like you need loads of product. I leave on for about 5 minutes to use it more like a conditioner and it still does a great job.

If you leave on for 10 minutes as a treatment it’s very effective and does a better job for very dry hair and humidity frizz. It doesn’t have much of a fragrance so I wouldn’t say your hair has a lovely smell after using it, but it is easier to style and looks smooth and nourished.

I think I was more excited to see what this product actually smelled like based on reviews, then what it claims to do. I was equally not really impressed with the smell or results. The smell is a little “elderly” for my taste.

Maybe floral and musky? Not fresh, or clean in my opinion. As you rinse this, you can feel what you think are going to be off the chart results, but after air drying and heat styling on separate occasions, I noticed no difference over using a salon quality daily conditioner.

I am a pretty big fan of this product. As someone who had a childhood ambition of being Rapunzel I can testify to the fact that great products equal great hair. I picked this up at Anthropologie during a winter sale because I’ve used their shampoo once before and thought it was decent and since I was out of a hair mask I decided to give this a shot (because hello.

additional 40% off clearance items – how could I say no?!). To give you some context about my hair: right now it is roughly shoulder length, color-treated, and is as thick as a brick wall. It’s heavy, it’s long, and it really needs moisture – there is no getting around this fact.

If I don’t moisturize my hair I tend to look like Ron Perlman’s character in 1987’s “Beauty and the Beast”. For someone like me a half palm-full of this product is enough to give a good saturation from root to tip.

Does that mean I use more product? Yes. But it’s necessary and totally worth it. I leave it on while I shower/shave/sing Fleetwood Mac songs to my unsuspecting neighbors. You get the idea. After about 10-15 minutes I rinse it out and my hair is AMAZING.

Usually I let it air dry and then I’ll do a light blow-out the next morning before work. My hair has never been softer, less tangled, or less frizzy. It really is a great, gentle, effective product. The only reason I’m docking a star is because it is very expensive when you compare it to the amount you receive in the bottle and the amount you need to use on your hair if you have long, thick, unruly hair like me.

I mean really – I’m not complaining – but I definitely think there should be a more cost-effective bottle of this product. I highly recommend it, however, and the price will not prohibit me from buying it.

Omg my mother used to love this stuff!! I always remember feeling fancy using it as a preteen lol. Its definitely extremely conditioning. It’s very thick as well. But. it stinks!! I dont like the smell at all lol.

I have NEVER used a better deep conditioner in my life!! As a hair stylist, I’ve been overprocessing my own hair for decades. Every time I find a great conditioning/reconstructing product- they discontinue it! So I was in a panic when Sally no longer carried this in any of the stores.

What a relief to find that it’s still available on the website! I ordered 15 packs! The smell is delicious, and after depositing it’s mix of moisturizers and protien, the cuticle is smoothly sealed- even if you have no cuticle left! I don’t know what BTZ is doing, but they are the only one doing conditionong right anymore, that’s for sure! I pray they don’t discontinue this! * if you are trying to switch to a new color, leave this treatment on covered & bagged overnight, & you’ll see your old color washing out.

I’ve been using this little packet of loveliness for so many years. and it’s becoming more and more difficult to find in any of my local stores, and when I try ordering online it becomes unavailable.

This stuff smells like pink bubblegum to me. it’s super thick with little teenie beads in it. I would always use this to deep condition my hair overnight before and after bleaching and toning my hair.

I’ve never tried another product that comes close to how well this works on my processed hair. and the scent, it’s just heavenly. I don’t know why it’s only sold in packet form, it’s such a great conditioning mask.

it should be sold in large size bottles. It seems like all my favs from Sally’s that I’ve used for years and years are being phased out. so very hard to find.

So long story short, I had bleached hair pretty lavender for about a year, then I had a fire. Apparently smoke damage to your hair can be a thing? So I chopped all my hair off and bleached it -again-.

Fast forward 5 months, my hair is growing out, I’m not so happy with the lavender or the pastels, and want to go red. The red dye I used made my hair go black, not red. After using One and Only Colour Fix my hair was super fried and brittle, the girls at Sally’s Beauty recommended this for me, at 99 cents I figured why not? It is a MAGIC CREAM IN A LITTLE POUCH.

I’m so glad I bought more than one. My hair came out feeling like I’d never been cruel to it! I highly recommend it for anyone with over processed hair or even just dry frizzy curly hair (which mine is also bad combo with bleach, I’m so mean to my hair) It is a definite must have, I may add it to my bi-weekly hair routine.

I used to use this years ago and I loved it then and I decided to repurchase it and I still love it now. It hasn’t changed in formula from what I can tell from when I used to use it. For reference my hair is very dry and doesn’t have much movement on its own normally because of how dry and somewhat damaged my hair has become lately.

I switched up my routine and ditched the shampoo and started using a cowash. That and adding this has made my hair feel much healthier and my hair actually has movement again.

I decided to try this product out from seeing Youtube tutorials on natural hair and for the look of the bottle and price. The latter two being for the wrong reasons. I’m normally a Shea Moisture customer and was well pleased.

It was like to combat the frizz, the product went AGAINST the natural coils and texture of my hair, rather than work with it. Pantene shampoo and conditioner for natural hair worked better for my hair than these products did.

If you are a 4C or super coily hair–I would not purchase this product. I finally went back to Shea Moisture. It’s been days and I still have not had to put anything in my hair. My natural coils are returning and my hair is getting its strength back.

This was my lesson that looks are indeed not everything.

I have bleached hair that is very coarse and dry, so chemical damage constant heat styling = split ends are my main issue. I have been using this for the past 2 months; I wash my hair once a week and use this in place of conditioner.

This definitely revitalizes my hair, it feels the best it has in the last 2 years. The price is steep, but I really prefer it to the other million products I have tried, so I think it’s worth it. I think the bad reviews are from people leaving this on their hair too long.

This mask says to leave on for 5 minutes; with many restorative treatments, it is important to follow directions – otherwise they can deposit too much protein-like build up, which will make your hair feel dry, tangled, and can bulk it up to the point it actually becomes more brittle.

That being said, I think this treatment has a nice balance of protein/moisture. if you don’t leave this on longer than 5 mins, it fills in porous hair and will make it smooth and shiny. There are no heavy silicones so it is not necessary to use a conditioner with sulfates to eliminate build up, which is nice.

If you want more slip to your hair, you can follow the treatment with a cheap light conditioner that has no restorative properties to it. I would also advise not to use this at the same time as any bond-restoring treatments.

If I could give zero stars for this I totally would because let me tell you, this mask not only did nothing for my hair, but it somehow made it DRIER!! I have Asian hair that has been permed two times, so I need serious moisture to help my split ends and chemically processed hair.

Lately I have been using random drugstore shampoo/conditioner and wanted a change, so I got the 500 point reward set from Living Proof. I did the whole regimen twice to make sure my results were not a fluke, but trust me, this hair mask (combined with matching shampoo/conditoner/perfecting spray) did less than what my very cheap normal conditioner did for my hair.

I applied this mask and followed the instructions to use it in place of conditioner, even leaving it on for 10 mins instead of the suggested 5. I used maybe a third of the sample jar to coat my medium length hair–this is definitely something you need to apply a lot of because it’s not very slippery and is quite thick).

Anyways after I rinsed it off, my hair felt exactly the same as it does right after shampoo. Didn’t untangle my hair, didn’t give it moisture. I thought maybe I’ll see results after it’s dry, so I let it air-dry, but even then my hair was very straw-like, SUPER DRY, tangled, and just a big fat NO.

The second time I tried this the results were the same. Bottom line, this super expensive mask and the whole line did WORSE than my cheapo bare-bones shampoo/conditioner routine. Definitely try before you buy!!! I wish I could get my points back :(.

I normally stick to my tried and true my faithful Garnier Sleek Shine shampoo and conditioner. However I was gifted this Fekkai shampoo, so I figured why not give it a shot? I’ve tried other products by the brand and they were pretty good, so i had pretty high expectations for this product.

It did not miss the mark. It’s lightweight, doesn’t leave your hair feelwashesing heavy or greasy. it doesn’t leave a film on your hair. The scent isn’t overpowering. It didn’t leave my hair feeling dry or stripped.

There’s enough for at least 10-12 washes on my past waist length hair it left my thick,hair feeling clean, lightweight, full, and voluminous. My one and only issue would be the price. Garnier Aussie both have amazing hair masks for around 5-7$ and you get double the amount of product.

Even more high quality brands such as one of ny favorites “It’s a 10” has a BOMB hair mask for the same price, but you get more than DOUBLE the product! If they increased the amount of product included for the price point this would be a complete 5 star product in my opinion.

I really like this shampoo. I typically only wash my hair every 3 days or so and therefore feel like I need to shampoo twice to really make it feel clean. I was honestly shocked with how clean my hair felt after just one round of shampooing with this product! One round works so well that I actually usually regret a second shampooing because it sometimes makes my hair feel a little greasier.

I also love that it makes my hair feel clean without causing that squeaky clean/ stripped feeling. I feel like my hair is in a much better condition after using this and Fekkais other Super Strength products than it was when I started.

First off I love everything about this conditioner except for one thing but that one thing is definently not worth taking a star away. This pureology sheer conditioner definetly deserves five stars I love it.

The texture is nice and thick not watery at all and you only need a little bit for a large amount of hair so if you have thick or long hair this will work just as good for you as it does for people with very little to very fine hair.

My favorite thing about this pureology sheer conditioner is that when you put this in your hair it gives your scalp that fresh tingiling feeling it feels like your conditioning it with some refreshing peppermint which brings me to the smell of it well of course its amazing very pepperminty which I love so much.

This smells nothing like the pureology sheer shampoo which im okay with because I dont really care for the smell of the shampoo. If you dont like peppermint i wouldnt suggest you get this because its very pepperminty.

Well than we got the one thing that I dont like about this pureology sheer conditioner its supposed to be for color treated hair ( hair thats dyed) but it pulls out a lot of the hair dye which is a bummer but its still worth the buy so i definetly reccomend.

I received the Pureology Hydrate Sheer products from Influenster for review purposes and have been using the shampoo & conditioner combo for the past 2. 5-3 weeks to give it a fair chance prior to reviewing.

For reference I have fine, wavy hair that has considerable damage and split-ends from bleaching my hair every 3 months as well as pretty regular use of hot tools/blowdryer. Therefore, I’m in desperate need of hydrating/repairing products that also don’t weigh down my fine hair.

As for the Hydrate Sheer Conditioner, it’s a decent conditioner and gets the job done. It felt like I needed to use a little bit more than usual to coat my hair, but my hair feels smooth after use and didn’t weigh my hair down like other conditioners often do.

My hair is admittedly softer and hydrated after using the shampoo/conditioner pair together – however, I do NOT think this conditioner outperforms my regular favorite products from other high end brands – and at this price point I really do expect a higher quality product or at least a more noticable change after nearly 3 weeks of continued use.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the scent at first, but it did grow on me over time and now I quite enjoy the fragrance. Overall, it’s a nice conditioner and I will continue to use the rest of the bottle, but I would not repurchase products from this line as I feel there are better performing conditioners out there for damaged hair at a more affordable price point.

I like how my hair feels and the conditioner feels light and creamy. The smell is good. I think I’m seeing fewer flyaways and less frizz. Maybe it is actually strengthening my hair, but I’ve also been using a mini bottle of that 30 benefits leave-in spray-which I’m out of as of today.

do notice my hair looking a bit greasy after just a day, but it is blonde-not color treated, and shows grease lines easily, especially since I’m back at work as a teacher spending much less time outside and there’s less sun now that it’s fall-and I’m down to a sulfate shampoo since ai didn’t receive the shampoo but I haven’t received the shampoo yet even though I ordered the duo.

I want to try them all before investing in any liter bottles. Years back, my sister had me try her Nano Works in a light green bottle, and it was amazing, but that type is no longer made, and the Nano Gold is even more expensive than the others and not the same.

I think this may be awesome-just the scent isn’t my favorite, but it’s really nice and so much better than anything else I have. I don’t normally buy expensive products, buy I’ve read Pureology is really good and do see and feel a difference!.

Came in a set of both shampoo + conditioner, also incl. samples of mask and oil, I got for the price of the shampoo alone. I was amazed by the shampoo. Uplifting citrus scent, and not strong synthetic fragrance-y.

Left my scalp feeling cleansed but not dry, same for hair. I have waist length hair, so it’s hard to get a combo of clean scalp/moisturized ends/not weighed down flat volume. Since the shampoo left my hair moisturized I used it alone on the top half of my hair and the treatment mask or cond.

on the bottom half. I wash my hair every 2 to 3 days and can’t stand “dry shampoo”. I don’t use any other products aside from a little olaplex serum on my ends sometimes and a mask or scalp serum here or there, but nothing changed during this experience.

My hair started falling out so bad that I took pictures thinking that there’s lead in my water or I have a thyroid problem. I cut a few inches off and thinned it thinking maybe it was just getting so long that it was weighing itself down or getting to a different stage in large chunks.

Didn’t help. I started using the conditioner all over and making sure that I moisturized my scalp. Didn’t help. The conditioner also left my hair looking flat and not it’s usual shiny self (and yes I am fully aware conditioner leaves residue when not rinsed well, and I know my water and have tested hardness, etc.

). I started making sure that I brushed my hair well everyday thinking that maybe I wasn’t brushing out the strands that naturally fall over the days that I don’t wash my hair. Didn’t help. So, I’ve gone back to just the shampoo and a leave-in for my ends and conditioner that I know doesn’t cause me problems on the top.

It’s only been a few days so I can’t comment on the results yet but I will try my hardest to remember to come back and update the review. In the meantime, I felt I owed it to the community to report my experience.

Obviously this is one anecdotal experience with many confounding factors so I can’t say that this shampoo and/or conditioner definitively cause hair fall. Other than that, I absolutely love it. I really hope that I find out it’s not the shampoo and conditioner because it’s awesome in every other measure.

I only need a very small amount of the shampoo. When I open the push down lid I smell the wonderful floral scent of this shampoo. The shampoo has a very smooth texture and lathers well. I massage it into my hair and scalp and it feels very soothing.

I then rinse the shampoo and it leaves my hair feeling soft and clean without making it feels greasy or weighed down. My hair feels soft and smooth with a beautiful shine. My hair does not feel stripped or dry and is easy to manage and style afterwards.

My hair looks healthy and full of life and bounce instead of looking dry, dull and frizzy. I love that this shampoo is vegan, cruelty-free and gluten free, clean, natural and most of all effective!.

Let me start by saying I’ve always been a huge fan of Briogeo hair products, due to their superior quality and results. and this new Super Moisture Shampoo is nothing short of amazing. I’m very picky when it comes to my shampoo, as my hair can easily become overly dry & brittle.

I look for something hydrating, yet powerful enough to properly cleanse away any dirt and impurities. I already own and love their Don’t Despair, Repair Deep Conditioner. so I knew when I saw this product it was gonna be amazing, and that is simply an understatement.

I’ve now used this shampoo twice, along with their conditioner. and I can’t even tell you just how incredibly hydrating & nourishing it is. My hair felt healthier, softer, and stronger just after the first use, and felt even better after the second.

My dead ends and flyaways seem to have completely diminished, and I’ve had several people at work ask me what I’ve done to my hair to make it so shiny and healthy looking. This shampoo provides hydration and moisture without stripping away your hairs natural oils, while improving texture and adding life back into your hair ( which for me, a woman in her mid 30’s, is a big deal ).

I love that Briogeo products and vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten free, which being clean, natural, and effective. The quality is superb, and the results are incredible. I absolutely hands down recommend trying this one, along with anything else from Briogeo!.

My hair was melted when wet and like straw when dry from bleach. Using this, coupled with Opalex, my hair feels wonderful! Incredibly soft and yet, it’s light and not weighed down. I have tried it on my Husband and 2 sons as well.

They all have no damage from; dye, bleach, sun or heat, and they all have different hair types. It worked really well on my sons hair that is most like mine (fine hair and a lot of it). My hair Is the absolute softest of all 4 of us though and my hair is bleached, and I use heat as well.

Amazing! I just used this on my hair before trying it on clients because my hair is a constant moisture-void no matter what moisture-targeted products I have used in the past (professional line and direct retail).

I used it after a stand-alone No. 1 & 2 treatment, using Olaplex No. 4 as my washout shampoo—which has been standard for me for a while, so I knew any changes, good or bad, would be attributable to the Olaplex 4-in-1.

I will say I left it on for 20 minutes instead of the minimum 10 only because I got caught up doing something else. I could tell as soon as I rinsed how much more moisturized my hair was and how much more slip it had even prior to combing.

But the real test would be the state of affairs after the blowout. It did not disappoint—in fact, quite the opposite. Nothing has ever left my hair so soft and full of flex. The most amazing part: It did that without weighing down my super-fine, kind of thinning hair AT ALL! While yes, hair is a business, I have always felt a little awkward about up-selling add-ons to main services (just my personality) but I won’t with this, because I know from personal experience it will be worth every penny.

I’m naturally a brunette and I have always had my hair bleached for about 10 years continuously. I use this about once a week after I shampoo my hair with the Olaplex Shampoo then after I would use the Purple Toning Shampoo and use this as a mask/conditioner.

It makes a huge difference, my hair feels so much stronger. Less breakage during my salon visit and it’s definitely makes my hair so soft and manageable.
