20 Best Product For Blackheads And Large Pores (2023 Updated)

Just like with 7 day scrub and city charcoal scrub before it. I found this cleanser to be very topical as with most Clinique products. There is no such thing as “deep” clean with Clinique- unless you are getting a facial with extraction on a monthly basis, and even then, your blackheads are not deep cleaned.

Unfortunately black heads do not go way especiallt for large deep pores like mine. I used to be oily as a teenage but now 30-40 I am combination to dry with many large pores clearly blackheads all over, even on cheeks ever since I gave birth.

Nothing will go deep unless you are literally squeezing them out. I find the scrub to be very fine and not doing anything for me. I actually flake and seem more sensitive the next day or two after using this but my clogged pores are going nowhere unless I get facial.

I use the mild liquid cleanser in the morning and this every other night in the shower. I don’t see this as doing more than the mlld cleanser. Even if there is charcoal involved, I still find it very thin.

You can get prob the copy of this product from Olay for half the price. I will continue to use my free scrub samples but never will purchase either full size again.

This scrub is one or of two that I use faithfully. The other one is also by clinic. This product is for a deep clean. I’ve always trusted Clinique products and this is one reason why: their products are created with excellent ingredients and do the job they’re designed to do.

There’s no extra hype.  One of the main ingredients is salicylic acid. This helps gently exfoliate the skin overtime so that blackheads can’t form as easily. It’s not a harsh scrub by any means.

You could also leave it on your face for five or 10 minutes and use it as a mask. It does take a little effort to rinse off. I often Splashwater on my face and then use a washcloth to finish the job.

After that I use a toner to be sure I wipe off anything else that might be there. Follow up with a gentle serum and a moisturizer.

I was weary of buying this because of all the negative reviews, but I actually really like it and will be buying it again. It isn’t some miracle cream that will get rid of your blackheads after the first use, but if you use according the directions you will see a difference.

After using it morning and night for several days, I could see my blackheads fading and my pores getting smaller. It also makes my skin super soft! I honestly wish I could buy this as an exfoliate because of how soft it makes My skin.

I also love the warming sensation but wish it lasted longer. The only thing I don’t particularly love is the bumpy applicator, I found the product mostly gets stuck and it’s more effective to use my fingers.

I use this in the morning in my problem areas before serum and then I use it at night before my nighttime serums etc.

and I wait about ten minutes before applying my next steps of serum and moisturizer. I have also found myself using this as a spot treatment and it makes such a difference. I have noticed slight peeling along my nose but I have just applied extra moisturizer near the area and that has helped.

I have suffered (literally) with blackheads since my pre-teen years. I’m approaching 70 years now. NOTHING has ever helped my blackhead issue successfully — ever. Something has done that now. Is it perfect? Did it disappear my problem overnight? No.

However, exactly as advertised, it brought deep, deep ones to the surface and they eventually were washed away. Does my problem still exist? Yes. Be that as it may, there is now a solution. One of the deterents listed by Neutragena was possible excessive drying of the skin.

This has not happened to me – old lady that I am – and I use it twice per day.

I was really disappointed with this product. Neutrogena usually excels in Acne/Facial care. However, I was vastly underwhelmed me in its performance. This especially considering the other predecessors of Neutrogena’s Stubborn Acne Line, which are amazing.

This product, however, was a definite miss. I saw no exponential difference in my pores or blackheads. It’s by no means terrible a product. I enjoyed the dewy-look and softness it gave my skin but, blackhead results leave much to be desired.

When you open the jar, it is rubbery like those seal you see around windows or bathroom faucets. It does have instructions to warm up the jar before using. The instructions are easy to follow, apply on nose, place paper, wait 10 minutes, wash off.

Once the paper is removed, I can see some sebum on there, but mostly from small pores only. It doesn’t do much for the larger pores nor the sides of my nose. I will try to finish the jar, but I would stick to the charcoal strip or peel in the future.

It’s like the white paste has less strength to stick and pull the sebum out than the charcoal strip. It does have a smell, but I’m okay with it. I also use a brush head and cleanser to wash off the residue after removing the paper.

I tried it between my eyebrows, but there was even less sebum removed if any.

I cannot believe how well this product works. When I first opened it I thought are you kidding me this looks like glue with some rolling papers but I’m here to tell you that I’ve done did my face my mom’s face my sister’s face and my nephew’s face and I cannot believe how many blackheads it pulled out of our faces this is by far the best product that I have ever tried.

I even liked it so much I’ve done one ahead and ordered a few more and so did my family. I even have pictures to prove how well this works.

There are many people who said that this product hardens up even when tightly sealed and Ive experienced the same problem. However, these people failed to mention the slip of paper with instructions on how to unsolidify the product.

The product works and is decent when unsolidified, however, it is a nuisance to have to unsolidify it every time I want to use the product.

I found and bought this in September of 2021. It literally made my skin poreless and clear. Just purchased a new cleanser yesterday Jan. 2022 and the ingredients are different. It’s missing jojoba oil and some other original ingredients.

Why do companies mess with ingredients!! This new formula smells different and not in a good way. I am hesitant to use it. On this site you have the original ingredients listed but on this image on the cleanser it is different and not in a good way.

So bothered by this because now the efficacy of the ingredients are in question. I knew the minute I used this new unimpressive formula that I have to move on. Such a shame because it did wonders for my skin.

Why do you take out an important ingredient that helps the skin? ! Please go back to the ingredients listed below on this site but not on the product itself. Thank you.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he is so stubborn about cleaning his face – ugh! Since he had blackheads and hates the face clean process, buying him an easy product like this helped him get into a simple – very simple – face care routine! He was also very impressed about how much it tackled his blackheads and he really had alot.

I also use this product when I have an excess amount of blackeads and what I like to do is wet my face, lightly scrub my face and then leave it on my face for about a minute before washing off. I feel like this gives the product time activate the charcoal inside and it really does! After a minute of being left on, my black heads were so faint to the eye! I am not a fan of the smell – it’s a bit weird and I can’t describe it – but it could just be me since I am sensitive to smells.

This has been the only face wash/scrub that I’ve been able to find that works on my oily, acne prone face and skin. And I’ve tried most other major name brands out there with little to no results, or worse results (skin irritation, dried up skin, worse breakouts, etc).

I do pair this with Dial bar soap though. I will wash my face and any other problem areas (my shoulders, neck, etc, areas that are prone to breakouts) with Dial soap and a washcloth, rinse my face, then I will use this product with a washcloth.

For me at least I’ve found success if do this everyday or every other day for a couple or few weeks in a row. Otherwise I don’t really see as much or at least the maximum amount of benefit from the product that I’m wanting to get out of it.

I also utilize their facial wipes of the same brand. They are amazing and really help on those days where you are constantly on the go and just don’t have time to take a shower or wash your face. They help to remove your makeup as well.

I just wish that these products were actually sold in stores again. I hate having to go online to buy them now.

I enjoy using this to clean the pores around my nose area, as most nose strips have a hard time getting the gunk from the grooves. Where the nose strips can’t get the blackheads, this sheet will. It has a slight scent to it that is a little unappealing to me, but it’s not over powering.

I suggest wearing this for 10 minutes because your nose and skin might start feeling slightly irritated. I don’t have sensitive skin either. On that note, some sites, and I think the packaging too, state you can use this on your cheeks to clean the pores in that area as well.

I tried it out, but my skin did not react to the sheets well. After a little over 5 minutes my skin felt like it had a sunburn and my cheeks were red from irritation. Again, I don’t have sensitive skin, so I personally don’t recommend the cheek area.

Best blackhead removing product I have ever used. After using it, the blackhead will come out, and you use a stick that came with the product to gently brush them off. My nose is soooo clean afterward.

I used various kinds of blackhead removing products, from cheap to expensive ones (FANCL, which did not work at all), but none of them worked as well as this one.

One of the beat ways to clean pores. I prefer to top it with some film for better result. Even though it’s working great it is gentle on my skin. Opens pores perfectly. Like to use after. Will be buying it again for sure.

This is a chemical exfoliator that contains Willow Bark Water which controls oil and calms the look of redness, along with Betaine Salicylate which fights bacteria and decongests clogged pores. It also contains Niacinamide, an ingredient that brightens skin and improves the appearance of pores.

When I first received this I used it as a serum and applied it with my hands, but that wasn’t the correct way to use it. You are supposed to squirt some onto a cotton pad and then swipe it across your face, similar to the Paulas Choice BHA exfoliator.

You are only supposed to use this twice a week, which I’ve been doing. I use it on days my skin seems extra irritated. I haven’t noticed any huge changes but I do think it’s doing something lol. Its similar to an oil in consistency.

Its also clear with zero fragrance. They describe it as a “powerful chemical exfoliator”, but it doesnt seem that powerful. 🤷‍♀️🏼 I will continue to use it and update this review if I notice my acne getting better or worse.

Really I guess everyone is different, I wanted a scrub to rid dead skin and rejuvenate and I got the blackhead eliminating scrub. I’ve never suffered of black heads except the but I get on my nose and my bottom unusually enough for me.

Now on my chin and mouth area but after about a 7 months using it about 2 times a week(one bottle I used) I’ve developed a terrible break out little by little and I’m so upset! I’ve never seen my skin look so terrible.

I have cried looking at myself, I’m literally depressed and sad over this, so upset! My skin is beautiful and clear and now I feel like a teenager! I’m 30 years old with zit and black head breakouts all over that area! I will never use this product and will be warning people! So decided to read the label why does this product contain Xanthan Gum and alcohol! I’m so disappointed at myself for not reading the ingredients before buying this.

I got a small bottle to try it out and gotta say I’m pretty happy with it. It has a cute packaging and does the job. Skin feels super clean and gets rid of all the blackheads and impurities. I use it once in 10 days and I will totally buy this again.

following on from my recent review with the , this is also another product I use in my nightime routine. This is the and it’s helped me clear those nasty blackhead on my nose and in my cheeks. I use to have relatively large pores and it made my skin look dirty and as if I didn’t look after it.

After cleansing my face with the , I then use this blackhead scrub on my forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. I rub it in until the little beads dissolve and then rinse my face with a warm washer. I actually really liked this product! After I went through all of the steps, the area was extremely smooth when my skin around my nose is a little rough between it being a little drier and larger pores.

I can see this product being a great first step before makeup before taking photos because it really smoothed out the area of my nose where sometimes I have trouble with foundation being patchy because of the texture that is normally there.

The instructions were easy to follow and the masks were fully soaked in product. The masks didn’t slide around too much so I was able to still move around a bit without worrying about it sliding off and could multitask while doing the mask.

It had a nice light fragrance that wasn’t overpowering so if someone is sensitive to scents, I don’t think this will be a concern. I think it is pretty reasonable priced for a 3 pack so I really am impressed overall.

The Rael 3 Step Pore Melting Pack was an easy to use way to clear up some of the clogged pores on my nose. The steps are listed out and separated into two packets, which made it straightforward for a new user.

Normally whenever I’ve used a pore strip, there wasn’t really a big “before and after” but to my surprise, I did see a lot of the gunk come out of my nose (gross, sorry). With that being said, this product only makes a difference if your pores are backed up.

Once I did this treatment, I tried it again a 2 weeks later and I didn’t have as much as a result as I did the first time. Still, it was a nice skincare process for some self care. If you struggle with clogged pores I recommend this because this pore strip doesn’t rip anything out of your face, it is applied wet and once it dries its easily removable.

For $8, I think it is worth at least trying out!.

When I received the opportunity to try Rael’s 3-Step Pore Melting Kit I was so excited to try this out! My nose is always oily & quickly has blackheads which will forever annoy me. When I opened step one I immediately noticed that it was seemingly close to one of the wet paper masks.

I followed the instructions in step one and the sheet kept falling off my nose. When I went in with the sebum tips I had to push down to get the debris up truly and used 2 in 1 go. The soothing step 3 felt just like a slimy mess and also kept falling off my nose.

I did see a difference, however, it was still slight. It was a neat experience to have in the end. I wouldn’t suggest it to others though.

I did not read the text on what’s included when you purchase this, so I thought I was just getting the mask product (felt like with the wonderful reviews for the prices it was it was worth it). PSYCH!! It came with a silicone spreading brush AND a little skin tool kit as well with a bunch of goodies.

Not only does it dry well (I leave for about 20 mins) but it peels off like a dream. I manage to get it off in one go most of the time and have wonderful results afterwards. This stuff works. If you have baby hairs in sensitive areas I advise you shave those prior or be willing to just deal with a little lunch like I did.

I’ve used it 4 times now from the same bottle for my entire face and probably have enough to do 4 more at least. The company sent me an entire email after ordering letting me know about helpful tips, instructions, a thank you, etc.

For the price, I am very impressed!I have super sensitive skin and my nose is covered in blackheads. I would have thought that this would give me a reaction. nope!This is very easy to apply. All you need is a little bit of goop to slather on your nose.

Less is more. Wait 15 minutes after applying, peel off (very easy), and you will see your nose clear up. You may need to do this a few times to truly see results but I saw results after doing this once.

Highly recommend this mask if you have sensitive skin!My ultimate skin care combo includes this, Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance Face moisturizer, and Dermalogica Anti-aging acne face wash. My whole skin care routine costs around $120-$130 ish but is totally worth it for my sensitive skin.

Yes, that is expensive, but the investment into self-care and hygiene is very much worth it in my honest opinion.

I haven’t had acne since I was a teenager, 20+ years ago. The day I received this, I used this once, on one spot on my face, as directed to test first, and I followed the instructions. It peeled off with no problem and I was excited to use it on my whole face.

Luckily, I got busy and never got around to doing that because the next day, the entire area where I had applied the mask had broke out in pimples. These were not the king that pop and are gone in days.

These were thick, deep red pimples that never popped and were there for at least a week. It was very embarrassing going out for. It only occurred precisely in the place where I had tested the product on and nowhere else.

I still have scabs of thickened skin there even though I eventually was able to get rid of the pimples.

I initially gave myself a hard time when purchasing this. I’ve been trying to steer clear from harsh scrubs and only use chemical exfoliants, but I really wanted to try something on my nose and chin.

I didn’t think this would be the answer to my sebum/blackhead problem, but I thought it’d have to do something as far as help with my texture. I have to be gentle with this scrub, only because I know those little shards in the product can be harsh on the skin and possibly create micro tears.

Keep in mind I only use it on my nose and chin; very textured, dry areas that need something more than the rest of my skin sometimes. I use this seldom when I notice it’s looking rough and dry. I use this product with water to help glide it against the skin too which helps.

I don’t notice it removing my blackheads per se like it claims, but it helps smooth out bumps and even out the roughness. Plus, the packaging is so cute!.

I love how cute this product is. It is easy to use, as I only have to remove the lid and apply directly. No mess! Even though it is not the strongest blackheads removal product, it works and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.

And, as it has a funny octopus shape, it makes skincare routine more joyful.

Nothing has ever gotten rid of the tiny white bumps under my lower lip. But this took care of them in one go. Its so smooth now. I am extremely skin sensitive and this didnt make me break out or anything.

I think some people here have too bad of skin and are expecting miracles. For mild blackheads this works.

I used to use Biore’s Charcoal Deep Cleaning Strips (the packaging for women) but I though of trying this one because adhesive might be stronger since it is for men. However, I find the results that sometimes it is good, sometimes it doesn’t work much or sometimes it doesn’t stick much.

I feel like I am better getting the peel off masks are a good option than these. Although if it works, it does a satisfying job clearing nose. It is just disappointing sometimes to wait few minutes ending up pulling the strips and it didn’t stick well.

I don’t understand how some strips tend to be less sticky despite putting enough water. I might be doing it wrong.

I’ve bought the regular woman size, and those have more glue, or whatever holds it, than these larger ones. Can’t say for sure what are the factors, but I usually put these on after a warm shower and it’s true what some say, for some reason the edges don’t stick very well like the front part of the nose.

I’d skipped these and just get the regular size ones. Also, most likely if you have a big noose, it won’t cover as much as the picture shows, I thought it would go a little over the sides of my nose, nope, just barely finishes where me nose edges end.

So not much different from the woman sizes, just a tad larger but not much else, I feel the woman size one takes more gunk out.

I have received this product for free from Bliss for reviewing purposes. I really love the concept behind this product! I used to buy blackhead pore strips but they were painful and irritating. This product comes in a stick tube which would be convenient to carry around in your purse or when travelling.

This stick has a smooth almost balmy texture, which glides on effortlessly on my skin causing no redness whatsoever. It absorbs quickly, without leaving any tackiness or stickiness. It also feels refreshing and hydrating (thanks to Aloe and Shea Butter), and it has a subtle scent of tea tree.

I’m excited to keep using it and see even more results!!.

It’s thin and runny so I put it on with the applicator in small patches until my whole face (avoiding sensitive areas as instructed) was covered. For me it took longer to dry (~45 minutes) but I live in a very humid environment.

I peeled it off slowly and it did pinch a little in spots, but no more than similar products I’ve used in the past. It really got the gross stuff out of my pores and left my skin feeling soooo soft. I couldn’t believe how soft and smooth my face felt! Gave my mom a facial with it after I tried it and she gave the same feedback.

I’m 45, have had a history of acne and have used alot of products on the market. But I’m glad to say, my acne had settled with few breakouts, except due to hormonal changes. Most of the time, I keep something with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid in my arsenal when I feel likey skin is shifting or seeming a bit off.

I bought this cleanser in the hopes that it being cheaper, a basic salicylic cleanser that it couldn’t do any worse than what I’ve used up to this point in my life. This was thick, right from the bottle, and foams well.

And the ingredients and stance of the company is pretty great toward their skincare. Simple, clean lines and marketing with a great price point. But here’s the thing, this after 3 uses opened up an active breakout.

I know that when you switch cleansers, oil production and your skin balance has to get accustomed to everything, but this was so bad. I have had very clear skin up to the use of this product, and since I’m breaking out like I’m in my teens.

This isn’t “purging” or sensitivity. There are other ingredients in this cleanser within the delivery system that have to be creating problems in some people. I do use and have a history of using glycolic peels and salicylic peels for regular exfoliation and use them only when necessary.

This product should be avoided if you are someone that is expecting this to work gently and to be non-comedegenic. I really think the “purging” is more marketing than anything. Any cleanser that you use messes with the PH and generally affects your skin in some way.

If you’re wanting purging or desire an active breakout for months, use this, or explore Accutane, or look at some Rxs for a retinoid from a Dermatologist. There are better cleansers available.

So finally writing a review of The INKEY List after a few months of use with the following products: – Salicylic Acid Cleanser – Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Serum – Beta Hydroxy Acid Serum – Polyglutamic Acid Serum After using these products in order and eliminating all other products, ultimately all of these were a dud for me.

I ended up with more acne that I have ever experienced that just wouldn’t go away. It’s very unfortunate cause (1) The price is great for these, yes a bit on the small side, but I found a little did go a long way.

(2) These came highly recommended for acne-prone skin, and I had a couple of blemishes here and there that I wanted to keep away. (3) The ingredient list seemed to be minimal and fragrance free. Added a star because, I do understand this does work for a lot of people and my skin did feel clean and not dried out.

However, the amount of acne that appeared on my forehead and chin was shocking. Even changing out my pillow covers frequently (which I do already and use a fragrance free detergent). I had been using The Ordinary products for years and wanted to give these a try since I heard amazing things and the packaging travels well for the amount of traveling I was doing recently for work.

I don’t like to waste products so since I am almost done, I will finish them. I’m glad I did try them out though, but I will not be purchasing this brand again unfortunately, Bummer, but sometimes it takes trial and error.

I have been using the product for just under a week now to treat chronic acne on my chin area. I tried using this cleanser, then the Ordinary Niacinamide, followed by the Ordinary retinol in squalene, then the Cereve moisturizer.

I noticed a slight tingle after using this face wash, which I assumed was natural. But when I put the Ordinary niacinamide on I noticed my skin felt almost burning. I knew that there was an adjusting period to any new product so I’ve stuck with it for this week.

I took the niacinamide out of my routine to see if it was heightening the burning sensation, which it was a little. I also tried taking out the Ordinary retinol in squalene I had been using because I had read that pairing sialic acid and retinal could be too strong for the skin.

but even just with using this cleanser and moisturizer my skin felt really sensitive and burned if I scratched it by accident. I realized this morning that my skin looks old, and I’m 19. this product legit gave me slight wrinkles and hooded eyes, along with general redness.

in their defence, I love that this product works so well for so many people, and I think it’s AWESOME how conscious they are as a company!!! but this definitely did NOT work for me. and I do realize that I should have discontinued use as soon as I realized it wasn’t working for my skin.

After so much of research, I got to know about Minimalist products. With so much faith, I ordered complete skincare range. And boom! Worst decision ever. My skin has becomw 10 times worse. New skin issues have evolved like bumped skin, hundreds of tiny white acnes, uneven tone and darker skin.

With the very first use, I saw my skin getting affected but I kept listening to them. And best part is their customer support. That is worse. You keep mailing them and they will leave you in limbo, on what to do next.

Worst experience ever I swear. I don’t even like looking at my face in mirror. Have become so mucj conscious of my face ever since I have started using this, just in hope of seeing better results, but they just doesn’t come.

Seriously I just hate seeing my face these days, saying from the core of my heart.

As indicated, the product works really well on my oily skin-type. I was worried if it would be too harsh for daily usage, but exfoliating once (preferably at PM) a day has proven to be beneficial. I used it with the minimalist moisturiser, Vitamin B5 10% and they work pretty well together.

I experienced some purging but it lasted for about two weeks, after which, there has been some subtle change in my skin. Break outs have reduced a bit and there seems to be a natural glow. Overall, my skin texture looks more even-toned.

However, there hasn’t been much difference in my acne scars. It’s only been a month but hopefully they’ll go away in time. (Recommended for Oily skin).

Used to have hundreds of TINY BUMPS on my CHEEKS, around the NOSE, CHIN and between the brows (filaments/closed pores). These were filled with sebum but I couldn’t conceivably squeeze every one of them.

Having used the salicylic acid for 2 weeks, about 85% are gone. I have oily skin, so the hyaluronic acid serum is also essential. I think if I’m more regular about moisturising, they should go completely.

Given how long this serum is going to last, Its an incredibly HIGH VALUE PRODUCT. I did the math, given my usage and it works out to about 3. 5 rupees a day. Very reasonable.

complimentary from hero cosmeticsloved the glass packaging and a bottle stopper to prevent leaks of the products. I prefer to apply this pore treatment right after cleansing my face. I also like to use exfoliating products in the evening.

however this treatment could be used in AM as well if you use sunscreen in generous amount. the finish that this treatment gives is matte and slightly tacky. So I applied a rich and nourishing moisturizer after the treatment to avoid possible skin irritation.

I didnt experience tingling sensation because my skin got sued to bha exfoliating products so far. i also tested the pore treatment with the new hero cosmetics cotton pads. They are super soft on the skin.

however, they are required to be soaked in quite a lot of the pore treatment.

Seriously. In 5 days I am seeing a noticeable difference in my nose, chin and forehead. I’m talking impacted pores from the 90s! I have tried all the products there are in every price range there is.

After one day of using this, I ordered a second bottle and I’ll be ordering a 3rd shortly. That would be my only con- the stuff runs out fast. I use it twice a day on a cotton pad and it won’t last me a month.

(Hey Hero, I would totally buy a larger bottle if it were available!).

I’ve tried so many things for my nose pores over the years (nose strips, physical exfoliation, salycylic acid treatments) and nothing has worked like this product does. My skin looks tighter and my pores are noticably smaller after a couple weeks of use 3-4 times a week.

I use the cotton rounds to gently press the solution onto my skin and then let it dry before applying moisturizer. My results have been amazing. I definitely recommend this if you have stubborn blackheads.
