Ever since I got pregnant with my son in my ph gets off so easily, even after giving birth I still had issues with BV and yeast infections. Monistat worked for yeast infection but right after my period itd come right back again and every other month or so I’d get bv right after my yeast infection cleared up.

2 days ago i got bv again but really bad this time. Really strong odor, so much watery discharge, pain and irritation, it was ridiculous and i was determined to get it fixed. Its been two days and this and the equate wash have helped tremendously!! I use the equate once a day and take two pills once a day as directed and the smell has gone down so much, diacharge is none at all any more (i can go all day no leaks amd with out a liner and no smell through my jeans) I am definitely going to be getting more of this when I start to run low, as I know I have a bad hormone imbalance and this lovely product and equate wash are serious life savers.

Definitely recomend this to anyone who 1. Cant get to a dr soon enough 2. Dont like taking antibiotics and 3. Tried everything and found nothing else has worked and it always comes back like I have tried and seemed cursed.

I started using the Probiotic and the hormonal supplement on Jan 10th. I got this because started getting hormonal cystic acne on one side of my face and I have mild-moderate IBS. I have used probiotics for many years and tried many different kinds. I know that sometimes you will have stomach discomfort for a few days while your intestines get used to the change. This one, however, I persevered for 3 weeks before finally calling it quits.

It caused me to have terrible gas, bloating, stomach cramps and loose stool. I was miserable and running to the bathroom several times per day. Symptoms went away as soon as I stopped taking it. My husband tried a few with no adverse affects, but this kind was NOT for me in this dose anyway.

I got these as a gift and I was pretty excited to see if they were all that was advertised on the box. They are supposed to not only help with digestive health but also urinate tract and vaginal heath and have cranberry powder.

From what I can tell, they work really well and I like that they are in capsule form. Too many vitamins are tablets and many times your body doesn’t absorb them. I’ll buy them again!.

Easy to swallow, you have to take 2 a day but I’m okay with that. I had tried the Ollie probiotic gummies but I don’t think it had enough CFUs and this one has 10 billion. I take probiotic supplements mostly to help prevent infections.

I have suffered from bacterial infections pretty frequently and found our recently it is because my body is a little more sensitive than others so when intimate with my husband I have a higher risk of infection.

Awhile ago I suspected that I had a BV issue since not only was my smell really different (fishy! I learned from my doctor that a fishy smell IS NEVER right, and means there is a BV problem) but I was also starting to have some irritation.

My doctor did a swab test and confirmed that I did indeed have BV and put me on a round of antibiotics (I chose the form that was an insertable cream as opposed to the same drug in pill form, because I’m not a big fan of systemic antibiotics if they’re not necessary).

The antibiotic treatment worked. for a short period of time. About 2 months later, the smell (and BV) were back. Trip #2 to the doctor and prescription #2 for antibiotics. rather than play the never-ending antibiotics game, I decided I needed to do something different.

Let the research begin! I learned some important information that my doctor seemed to be completely oblivious about, and by educating myself, I was able to solve my issue long-term WITHOUT antibiotics! Here is what I learned in a nutshell: 1) The vagina (like the gut) has a specific balance of bacteria that keeps everything functioning properly.

If too much of the good bacteria get killed off (either through general antibiotic use OR they are starved (more on this later), then the bad bacteria and yeast will take over and over multiply, causing lots of problems like BV and yeast infections, etc.

2) The ‘good’ bacteria keep the bad bacteria in check by producing hydrogen peroxide. The bad bacteria are anaerobic, and can’t survive in a high oxygen environment. So one of the first things I did was to give myself regular hydrogen peroxide douches.

(you can dilute it with water if using it straight is irritating. I personally used it without water, but you may be more sensitive). These douches don’t need to be complicated – Just insert a small amount of peroxide, try to keep your legs above your head for about 2-3 minutes, then let it out (preferably over the toilet or in the tub).

Now that I don’t have BV anymore, I still use hydrogen peroxide flushes once a month at the end of my period to flush out the last vestiges of blood (blood feeds the bad bacteria, which is why BV often gets worse during or immediately after a period).

Such a small amount of prevention really makes a huge difference! 3) The good bacteria need food to live and multiply and thrive. Their food production is controlled by estrogen. So, if estrogen levels are too low (as are mine) you can either raise them by taking estrogen (which you may or may not want to do).

Alternatively, you can step in and feed the good bacteria directly with a prebiotic – the brand I swear by and have been using is: VH Essentials vH Essentials 15 Prebiotic Vaginal Suppositories, pH Balanced for Feminine Health By providing food to the good bacteria in the form of these suppositories, you will ensure that the good bacteria have what they need to rebound and vanquish the pathogenic stuff.

My flora had gotten out of whack down there from using progesterone pessaries during this pregnancy. Within days of taking just one in the morning, my symptoms began to fade. It did not ship with a cold pack in spite of the packaging stating it must be kept refrigerated, and it’s HOT here, so I contacted customer support.

I bought this product today. Unless you have yet a third version of this product, I do not have the info. which product I have, or which version. No yellow bar across the top indicating no refrigeration needed, no yellow triangle on the right corner diagonally, indicating refrigeration needed.

Exp. 11/23, so I don’t know if this is an old batch or a new batch??? Furthermore, there is no indication of whether the capsules are enteric coated or not. How do they pass through the stomach and not get digested if they are not enteric coated??? Is this a new website with an old picture? I have a glass bottle, not a plastic jar! Not happy with this.

When I was younger I never had issues with vaginal odor but of course, at the guidance of a young friend, I decided to start douching because I thought it would help maintain freshness.
