Pros: – High quality parts – Two RAM sticks, rather than the single stick shown on the website – Excellent build quality – Excellent value on Google Express sale ($660) – Great performance for the cost Cons (all minor quibbles): – Individual systems may vary, but mine had several differences from the one pictured on the website: (1) Rather than the Zotac Gaming graphics card, it included an ASUS GeForce GTX 1660 Overclocked 6GB Phoenix Fan Edition, so it includes 1 HDMI 2.

0b port, 1 DVI-D port, and 1 DisplayPort 1. 4, rather than 1 HDMI and 3 DisplayPorts; (2) there is no PS/2, VGA, or DVI-D connector and only 4 USB 3. 0 ports; (3) the motherboard graphics port is non-functional, because the processor does not include integrated graphics (in case the graphics card fails).

– Keyboard: (1) it does not include separate media keys, as pictured on the website, so volume control requires holding the FN key on the bottom right with the F2-F4 buttons on the top left, (2) the backlighting can only be changed to a handful of rainbow RGB settings (uniform color options are preferable), and (3) the backspace key is the same size as the letter keys (I am used to an oversized backspace key that is easier to find).

Otherwise, the keyboard seems to be of high quality, and key presses are relatively quiet. – The cooling fans that push air out the top of computer run continuously, regardless of the internal temperature, so there is always some noise.

However, they are relatively quiet. – There is no way to turn off the RGB lighting on the tower, but at least it can be set to a single solid color.

I’ve had this PC for nearly two weeks now and I’ve never been happier. It’s beautiful, the white casing is clean looking, the RGB lights are vibrant and it has a decent amount of presets to choose from and I catch myself changing presets constantly (although the pink one is cute!).

The WiFi has a really strong connection (hits right at the 150-160mbps mark for me, I get 150mbps with my internet provider so it may vary!!). The delivery was on time, packaging was well done and PC was well protected.

I really love the “testing” card they include in the package to show you that it indeed does work and was tested prior to leaving Skytech’s care. This is the perfect starting PC for anyone that’s ready to ditch the laptops (ME!!!!) and I’m so happy my husband found this one for me! The mouse and keyboard doesn’t seem cheaply made, I have yet to try the keyboard but I am currently using the mouse.

At first the scroll wheel felt a bit too “firm” to push down, but it has seemed to have improved over the past nearly two weeks, the mouse lights change colors and it has a really nice braided-type cord to protect it.

the cursor speed has a CPI button as well which made me really happy as these two do not have a program with them.

I found 3 major overlooked issues and 2 minors. 1. The front panel light and RGB fans where not on when system powered up. Nor could I get them to turn on with the on/off RGB button. The problem was not that they didn’t have power; either RGB button, I/O panel or cables were bad or circuit was open.

I did my own troubleshooting by following the fan power cables to where they all connected. I found that the 5pin mini power connector was disconnected to the front panel. Once I connected it and powered the system back on.

All was working, which means that 5pin mini is a jumper to close the circuit. I am so glad it was not RGB button, I/O panel, broken or cut cables. As a tech I know these are a pain in the behind to find.

Hot glue would probably melted the 5pin mini connector. 2. The 3700X retail processor comes with Wraith Prism RGB heatsink/fan. Why was this off brand “Cooler One” put in? Its a 5/6 LED light base with whitish/clear fan that only changes into 3 color modes.

The only choices I had from PolyChromeSync were Random, Wave and Rainbow. I did get the Static color mode to turn on once before the PolyChromeSync software update. I would have rather seen the Wraith Prism RGB ring heatsink/fan in place then this $15 fan.

Which I could only find on that other site as non-RGB type. 3. Advertisement on Newegg site was a 1TB NVMe SSD and what was given was a 1TB SATA SSD. Checking the system history in Device Manager shows there was Gen4 NVMe attach at one point.

So either QA removed it or Newegg does not have the right information to put on the site from Skytech. The downgrade of SATA read/writes/random/IOPs vs NVMe is way lower. NVMe is about 2000-3000MB/secs read/write/randoms and about 500,000 IOPs compared to 80,000 IOPs.

Even a lower grade NVMe stick is faster then SATA SSD. Price comparison is $20 less. But when you say NVMe is in system and get something else “I the consumer/customer feel cheated!” If anyone wants to check comparisons: wdc 1tb sata ssd vs wdc nvme sn550 ssd.

**Update** Contacted Newegg about what was advertise and what was actually sent. After a few emails I was refunded the cost difference. Instead of having to send the whole unit back. Thank you NewEgg for allowing this a an option.

4. A minor issue and does not reflect performance of the computer. Keyboard bump keys are left index finger F and right index finger J. Who creates one right index finger K? Skytech apparently. I kept goofing the spelling my own name and I had to go back to my Magegee keyboard.

I did not want to relearn what took me almost 20 years to perfect in typing because of one letter off. It also goofs you up on the letters above and below that row. Same goes for the gaming mouse it felt unnatural so I unconnected and reconnected my magegee mouse.

Not even Canadian keyboard layout keys have K as the right index finger! 5. Another minor issue and does not reflect performance. One of the front Ringed RGB top fan housing has slight vibration noise when computer is first turned on.

If I tap the top grill a little bit, noise will go away and continues to be silent after that. I guess this is acceptable being refurbished computer. All in all not a bad system just a lose connection, choice on processor heatsink/fan, 1 bad advertisement of SSD (**been refunded), molding of keyboard key bump on K not J and one vibrating housing of RBG fan.

This system should have been right around $1200 not what was asked. I cant really change out anything as the warranty does not cover changing of parts thus breaking the seal. One thing I can say is, I as technician would have never let this leave testing bench knowing these issues, New or Refurbished.

While the keyboard isn’t the highest of quality, it’s still a deal and a half for this computer. It’s fast to boot up and load into games because of its SSD, The glass swinging door is extremely useful for maintenance, nd the LEDs work great.

The cord management is really clean, and the cherry on top for me was the graphics. I reccomend using this computer on a 1440 monitor. The CPU is slightly older than the GPU, but they still work well together.

If the CPU can run tarkov this well, It’s a pretty solid unit. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone who needs a good gaming rig (With plenty of room for future upgrades).

As a longtime PC gamer, it has been difficult to build my own PC from scratch with the components shorage going on. I decided to try This CyberPower PC, and was not disappointed in my purchase. I have had it for almost a month now, and below are my brief thoughts on it.

It has a a super fast 1TB NVMe drive, extremely powerful GPU and CPU, great ventilation and plenty of USB 3. 0 ports. I had previously only been an Intel CPU owner, so I was a bit nervous about switching to AMD.

My worries were unfounded though, with this PC zipping through all of the tasks I need it for. I play a lot of newer, next generation games – and so far almost all of them have run perfectly at Ultra settings.

Cyberpunk, Borderlands 3, The Ascent, Red Dead Redemption and more all run at the highest settings on my 1080p AMD Freesync monitor. I also have it connected to my LG 4k 120hz tv, and at 4k all the previously mentioned games (and every newer game I have tried) can easily run at 4k and high settings.

I am incredibly happy with the stability and power of this system, and and can honestly say I am a CyberPower owner. There is plenty of room in the large tower to upgrade to any video card out there, but what it comes with works terrific for most peoples needs.

I do plan on upgrading the ram eventually to 32GB, as I use Adobe editing software for work, but other than that this PC is a beast. I have had Alienware and HP Omen desktops in the past and have always been disappointed in both stability and performance.

I think CyberPower has nailed a perfect price point to performance ratio here – and would highly recommend this PC to anyone looking for a high-tier gaming device that has all the ingredients needed for both gaming and productivity!.

System booted with immediate red light post to video card on motherboard indicating the video card was dead on arrival. I tried to get the system working on a few monitors, checked the connections were all secure, and tried using all of the connections on the video card in hopes it may have posted incorrectly, but that was all an exercise in futility.

To compound the issue further, although I could not confirm it since the system could not be set up without a video signal, the Intel sticker on the outside of the computer case was for an i7. This is supposed to be an i9-12900KF, a major reason why I bought this particular computer along with its 3080 video card.

Of course after returning the computer I could not order another one because they are now, “sold out” – probably a good thing as you know what they say, “fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me”.

Other than my experience, the computer appears to have solid reviews, again something I took into consideration when purchasing this computer myself. If you do order this computer, confirm you are actually getting an i9 – like you paid for – not an i7.

Major difference! The only other issue I experienced at Best Buy only compounded the frustration, at least at first. I brought the computer to Geek Squad to inquire over its return (within a day of delivery) and after waiting 20 minutes in line holding the computer in my arms, I asked to put it down on the counter.

I was then greeted by an impatient, short fused, abrasive, Geek Squad member who tells me I need to have an appointment, and “maybe” they will get to me after all of the appointments that day – as I look at the monitor noticing a laundry list of people on the screen, and the Geek Squad close to 2 hours behind.

Yet, barely a soul in the line behind me, and I was two people deep in line. Luckily, another Geek Squad Team member, who I believe is the manager, helped me shortly thereafter. I showed him the video card was dead on arrival and he confirmed.

Ultimately, I was told in order to even return the product, Geek Squad would have to confirm it was defective. Therefore, essentially, by explanation of the first less than cordial, direct, and abrupt Geek Squad member, I should have had an appointment scheduled just to return a 3000 dollar computer I bought that was dead on arrival.

Not that the experience was frustrating enough. Thankfully, another Geek Squad member was very nice and accommodating enabling me to return the product without an appointment. Quite the disappointing experience since I had also purchased this to surprise my son, but hey, not all experiences can be “rainbows and sunshine”, right? The moral of the story is, at least in my case, this product is a “buyer beware”.

Sending a computer with a video card that boots, but does not work, clearly indicates these computers are not tested after they are put together by the manufacturer and can therefore be shipped with defective parts.

Also, as stated, there was an i7 sticker on the computer case that should house a high end 12th gen i9. Obviously, someone could have just put the wrong sticker on the case, after all, they shipped a defective video card.

However, the on the other side of that coin, the system may not have had the i9 as advertised and confirmed in the product’s description online. Then of course, if you get the wrong Best Buy Geek Squad Team member, you may be told to schedule an appointment just to return a 3000 dollar computer that was shipped to you broken and not working.

So much for that “Elite Plus” Member status. Thanks for your time.

I was actually looking for an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G PC without a discreet video card since I wasn’t going to do any gaming. Now the only Ryzen 5700G PC they have included a Radeon 6600XT video card, but the price was still reasonable.

It comes in a smaller than usual case in white and has a cool transparent lighted “V” on the front panel that looks like a tunnel into the PC. It also comes with 16GB 3200Mhz RAM, 512GB NVMe SSD, 1TB 7200rpm SATA HD, 500W power supply, Bluetooth 5.

2 and WiFi 6, 4 USB 2. 0 rear ports, 3 USB 5Gbps front ports (1 type C), and 2 USB 10Gbps front ports. It also has audio and 1Gbps ethernet ports. The video card supports 1 HDMI and 3 DP displays. The performance is great as I expected and it is quiet, but I wonder if it gets sufficient cooling because the only vent holes that I can see are on one side panel.

The other thing is I wish it had Windows 11 Pro instead of the Home version. But overall, I can’t complain too much.

Compact design, nicely assembled. Got the model with Ryzen 7 and RX 6600 XT, I wanted a PC to easily transition from console gaming to PC without falling in the rabbit hole of Gaming PC components, wanted something ready to go and get playing quickly and this computer worked just fine for that.

Can run most games in 1080p with medium or high textures and medium light effects and runs smoothly. The case is compact and looks nice, and it has easy access for when I want to make upgrades. The Keyboard and Mouse are the generic type, so I had to buy separate gaming grade keyboard and mouse.

Also, the case will need cooling upgrades for the CPU and general airflow, the GPU and CPU temperatures get quite high with fans running at max RPMs when playing more graphic intensive games with details set to medium or high.

so I usually lower some game settings to keep temperature under control and it’s fine, but to get the full potential of this PC I’ll need to upgrade cooling at some point, but overall a good experience to get started on PC gaming.

First, this pc look really good. It has barely sufficient but adequate cooling, a basic trademark of HP computer as a whole. This pc should run almost any game at medium to high settings at 1080p in 2023.

But just now that with a 350 watt power supply you can not upgrade to a very power gpu. You are stuck with a very good 1080p gaming experience only. But at $500, it is a great deal. High end gaming at 1440p = NO.

High settings at 1080p = YES.

When I say good for casual gamers, I don’t mean that this PC doesn’t have the chops to play the latest AAA titles at 60FPS. It definitely can! The 5700G processor is quite capable and powerful with a bonus of integrated Vega graphics.

The GPU, an RTX3060, is still in the current gen and thanks to CES is now no longer the entry level card in NVIDIA’s lineup. That’s now the 3050. Lenovo installed 16GB RAM correctly in Dual Channel configuration and it is upgradeable to 128GB thanks to the 4 channels on the motherboard (more on that later……) 512GB SSD and 1TB HDD means you won’t run out of storage immediately.

The case is mesh, with two 120MM fans pulling in air, a 120MM CPU Cooler, and a 120MM exhaust. This all amounts to a quiet, cool temp gaming experience. So why does this only meet the casual gamer criteria? Well, simply put, the upgrade potential is still somewhat limited in the most basic area: RAM speed and over locking potential.

The motherboard claims to support RAM of 3200, but the BIOS and lack of XMP/AMP support means no RAM, stock or upgrade will reach those speeds. An enthusiasts off the shelf board would enable this, but by upgrading that you void your warranty, since the Lenovo vantage software (which manages your BIOS, RGB, CPU power management, etc.

is not present on any off the shelf ATX board. The case uses standard ATX mounts, so of course you could physically fit the new motherboard in, but it’s not a Lenovo Legion PC at that point really. So if you are willing to accept that the motherboard will always be a bottleneck for your CPU and RAM due to lack of overclocking support, what can you upgrade? 1.

RAM (with aforementioned limited returns) 2. CPU cooler (if you prefer all in one liquid cooling) 3. More case fans 4. Additional storage drives 5. The power supply (though the FSP unit onboard is 80+ Gold rated and will last a while) 6.

The GPU (if you can find one at a good price), which is a Lenovo card produced to NVIDIA’s spec. To many users, who just want a personal computer that just works for them for a couple years to play the latest games at 1080p and also have the chops to meet all the basic web browsing, video streaming, productivity tasks, go for it.

It’s a great machine that’s up to the task. If, like me, you’re forced into pre-built PCs by this market but want something that’ll give you limitless potential to get into the DIY PC game, this isn’t it.

But it could be a good PC to try it out in the areas I described. Just don’t expect it to do what Lenovo doesn’t intend it to do.

Here’s my thoughts after owning this beast for 24 hours: Ordered the Legion Tower 7i on Saturday the 21st, it shipped out of Pennsylvania and was here in the Bay Area, CA by Friday the 26th, super quick shipping! Unfortunately when it arrived the packaging did have a good bit of damage to it but that’s UPS’s fault not Lenovo.

I was worried about the tower but it seems to be alright other than a scratch to the top of it which i already cleaned up! Upon startup you have a super clean computer running Windows 11 and absolutely no junk that needs removing.

The Legion Tower 7i starts up really quickly and makes virtually no noise. The AIO liquid cooling system as well as the ventilation for this pre-built is masterfully done and the chassis itself is amazing as well and one of the main reasons I went with the Legion.

Gaming wise the Legion Tower is up there as one of the pound-for-pound best pre-builts when it comes to value for specs. The GeForce RTX 3070 will have you running any game you want flawlessly and the Lenovo Vantage allows you to overclock if necessary to get that little extra.

I plan to upgrade the RAM within the next few weeks and once I do I probably wont be upgrading anything else on this PC for a few years, that alone should speak to how solid this pre-built is. If I had to have a complaint my only one would be that I reached out to Lenovo customer support asking if my order was going to come with a mouse+keyboard upon delivery and after giving them my order # i was told that it would not so I paid extra money for overnight shipping so that a mouse+keyboard would arrive the same day my Legion Tower did, and then of course upon unboxing I found that it did come with a mouse+keyboard.

Mistakes happen though so its no big deal! Overall I couldn’t recommend this pre-built enough, Lenovo did a great job with the Legion Tower 7i. I’ll be updating my review after 6 months but im pretty confident i’ll still be loving it by then.

Context: initially ordered 90RS001GUS (Legion Tower 5i w GTX 1660) which was RMA’d, this review is for 90RB001TUS This computer is well priced for what you get. This was the second order of a Legion 5 tower, slightly different specs, not much difference in price: CPU from i7-11700 to ryzen 7 5700 G storage from 512 GB PCIe SSD to 1 TB GPU from GTX 1660 to RTX 3060 (12 GB) For $60 more.

The difference in CPU is negligible (benchmarks seem to be a toss up), the storage is a little better, and the GPU is a lot better. What isn’t mentioned in the listed specs is the improvement in CPU cooling.

The first Intel tower had a small cooler pushing air to the side (in the direction of the glass panel). The AMD tower has a larger cooler pushing air in the same direction as the case fans from front to back.

Based on temperature readings under load, the AMD tower is doing a much better job of cooling. Overall, an excellent computer and with the Black Friday sales, and excellent price. One star was removed for one glaring deficiency present in both the Intel and AMD tower: a lack of power cable for the 3.

5″ hard drive bays. Both towers have a hard drive bay with 2 slots for 3. 5″ HDD. Both towers have a SATA cable from the motherboard with free ends clearly for SATA data. Both towers were missing anything from the power supply to power additional HDDs.

If you look in the manual for both towers, adding HDDs should be as easy as putting a HDD in the bracket and then sliding it in. No mention of connecting any cables. This strongly implies the presence of a back plane in the bays with the SATA data and SATA power connectors.

Unfortunately, neither tower had connectors. The backs of the bays were just solid metal. The power supply of both only had one free connector: on the Intel it was a PCIE 6+2, the AMD a PCIE 8. The difference was that the Intel had the PCIE 8 connected to the GPU, while the AMD had the PCIE 6+2 connected to the GPU.

This that both Legion 5 Towers had 2 x 3. 5″ HDD bays, SATA data connectors to the motherboard, but no way to power either anything in the bays. I was a little reluctant to return the first Intel tower because it was such a good price, but decided it wasn’t worth the price if I needed to replace the power supply in order to add 3.

5″ HDDs. I am very glad that I did since the AMD tower is so much better. For only $60 more, the SSD drive is 500 GB more (current price for 1 TB NVME SSD is < $100) , the GPU is much better (value $100-$200 more), and the CPU cooler is much more robust.

Improving just the CPU cooler would have cost me most of the $60. I’ve installed a second SSD in the free M2 slot on the motherboard, with the understanding that when I choose to add a HDD that I will need to replace the power supply.

If not for this, it would have been easily a 5 star purchase.

when I first received this pc it worked perfectly for about 4 days. ran super fast, had no problems connecting to my monitor, nothing was wrong. then all of a sudden my monitor screen would turn black whilst in the middle of something.

the first time it happened it lasted for 30 minutes. I thought nothing of it and went back to my day. it happened again the next day but it lasted for about an hour. I plugged my monitor back into my laptop to see if it was a monitor problem but it ran perfectly fine.

I restarted my pc and from that point on it never turned back on. I had to send it back to cyberpower so they can fix it now. It has been a huge setback for me and I wish that I could have skipped the hassle.

I had purchased this to work from home as well as stream games. However after everything was connected and ready for use, I was not able to get my second monitor to work which is a dell VGA. After countless examine and research, I contacted Nvidia who said the video card was defective.

This was very upsetting as I require 2 monitors for work as well as for streaming. So I had to return. I don’t understand why I had to return the entire unit when just the video card was bad, Why can’t the manufacturer just send out a replacement card.

Now I have to reorder all over again.

I use this exact PC almost every day for gaming, beatmaking, editing photos and videos, and watching shows and movies! Now for gaming, the NVIDIA GT 1030 that comes with this pc isn’t the best and you’d need to upgrade to a GTX 750 or higher to play more demanding games like Destiny 2 or Red Dead Redemption 2 with ease.

If you do decide to upgrade graphics card i would recommend the NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super, or Ti if at all possible. Other than that, I absolutely love this PC and give it 5 stars!.

I was hesitant to buy this system as it was more expensive than some comparable models, however after looking at manufacturer’s official website I became more confident in their abilities. I’m so glad I did too, as this system from CLX is remarkable.

It was ready to go right out of the box and came with operating system and Nvidia Control Panel pre-installed. Speaking of the box, this thing came packaged so well that it could have dropped on my porch from a helicopter and would have likely survived intact.

Just be sure to open up the case and remove the padding that they use to support the video card before you try to start it up. It also came with multiple printed pages verifying that a tech at their company checked and tested every component in the system, as well as photos of what that component was.

The cable management is phenomenal, the LEDs are gorgeous, and the system itself is lightning fast. I’m playing Cyberpunk with Ultra Ray Tracing settings in 1080p and it’s smooth as butter. It runs my Valve Index VR like a champ at 144hz.

Quality all around. My only complaint, which is nothing CLX did wrong, is that the specifications on Newegg did not tell me what style/ manufacturer of motherboard or GPU was installed (just stated it was an RTX 3060ti).

Anyone who has built a computer knows that the manufacturer makes a HUGE difference, so I was rolling the dice a little in this regard. Looking at CLX’s website again gave me comfort as they seem to mainly use MSI products in their Intel/Nvidia builds.

This particular one ended up coming with an MSI Z490A-Pro and MSI Ventus GPU, both of which I am happy with especially at this price point. For a pre-built mid level gaming system, you can’t go wrong with this one.

You won’t be playing with Ultra Ray Tracing in 4k at 120hz or anything, but you’ll easily part two times or more for that kind of capability. This system will obliterate 1080p and 1440 though, which is exactly what I was wanting.

If you want total control over the components, go to the CLX website where you can pick literally everything. If you don’t want that level of complexity and just want a gaming computer that works amazingly well out of the box with no hassle or tech knowledge required, buy this one.

Five stars!.

While the system itself is great, there is one major design flaw that is, to me, a huge drawback. If your computer is located in your bedroom, be aware that even if you choose to turn off all lighting, the Legion logo automatically turns on and glows BRIGHT BLUE in sleep mode.

I contacted Lenovo support, and they confirmed it was, in fact “by design”. There is no way to toggle this option off in any way, shape, or form via either Lenovo Vantage nor bios. The purpose of said “feature” is to indicate that the system is still powered on in sleep mode, but the lit GPU (an option that also cannot be turned off, btw) serves the exact same purpose, and is inherently less intrusive to boot.

The only way to disable this baked-in setting will be to open up the case and physically disconnect the logo from the motherboard (which I am planning to do once I have the time). Because some people may not be bothered by this (or do not sleep in the same room as their computer), paired with the fact that the system itself is very solid, I did not detract too much from my overall score.

However, I would rate the system 3. 5 stars if I could, for the sheer hassle I’m going to have to go through just for my computer to be able to sleep in the same room I do. So, to summarize, Lenovo believes you may be too dumb to shake your mouse or tap your keyboard before immediately hitting the power button to check if the computer is powered on, and has helpfully added an BRIGHT BLUE BEACON to indicate that that is, in fact, the case.

Nevermind if you have to sleep in the same room as the computer, you need to be blasted with blue light all night while you’re trying to sleep. And you can not turn this option off; the only way to stop the glowing logo it is to disconnect it from the motherboard.

This PC is so much better than I expected. The case and RGB is beautiful on the front fans and back fan and cpu cooler, with tempered glass on the front and back. It looks like a quality case. I also like that there is no water cooling, its all air cooled which is great because you don’t have to worry about leaks or maintenance.

I am very pleased with mine because they gave me a full atx mother board with multiple pcie 16x lanes with wifi ac and also an MSI RTX 3060 triple fan OC GPU. The SSD is not the best name brand but it still not the bargain bin SSDs.

Its one Team Group Vulcan SSD which is one of the better quality gaming Team Group SSDs. The Temperature readings are all very goodand cool all the time. I have not had any experience with thermal throttling or overheating.

I was able to enable resizable bar on the motherboards bios pretty easily once I found the setting. I didn’t have to update the bios at all. The RTX 3060 comes with the bios already installed to be compatible with resizable bar.

The great thing about the RTX 3060 is the amount of VRam it comes with, 12GB of Vram is plenty for many years to come. The Performance of the the PC altogether gives smooth framerates in all the games I tested, even games on a triple monitor surround setup.

Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and don’t regret it. The Computer came with padding around the cpu and gpu for shipping which protected it very well. I upgraded to windows 11 already and it runs great too.

I haven’t bought a prebuilt PC since 2003, because Ive been building my own since that time. This was so much easier and nowadays cheaper than buying the parts yourself. The cable management was very clean looking for the areas you can actually see the cables.

If you open the case up where the cable are routed and covered up by the side panel its not beautiful but it doesn’t need to be because you don’t see them anyways. My son is really enjoying it and I hope it last many years.

Oh also its really cool an quiet. Seriously its whisper quiet.

So far after 1 week, this PC works very fast. It was fast to setup, only thing was Windows 10 showed as not activated in the Settings but a quick phone call to ABS customer service number (provided in box) solved the issue as they said it was just a matter selecting the troubleshooting (in the activate windows settings) to activate it.

It takes about 20-25 seconds to boot and log into desktop screen. Rgb customization is very cool. Keyboard is alright but mouse is better. It’s primarily usage will be for intermediate level work on CAD softwares as RTX does fairly well compared to Quadro GPU, and secondarily for gaming and other softwares.

For CAD softwares, I use it for AutoCAD 2022, Revit 2022 and it works very fast and I have no issues. The RTX 2060 paired with the i7 10700F and 16GB RAM (can upgrade upto 32GB) works very well to run heavy softwares like these, especially with its 3D designs.

This PC does a great job as a workstation computer as well. For gaming I do recommend to get GeForce Experience software as this will detect any downloaded games and you have the option to optimize between performance and quality for your preference.

I was able to get 100+ fps or even 200+ fps for The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition by optimizing without really degrading much quality depending on if the resolution was 1440p or 1080p. Solved how to change RAM memory speed from 2666 MHz to 3000 MHz, as you see in the pictures I attached, all you need to do to fix this is: 1.

Open up Gigabyte App Center 2. Select EasyTune 3. Go to Advanced DDR OC tab 4. Change XMP setup Profile from Disable to Profile 1 and also change memory frequency to 29. 33 5. Windows will ask to restart PC, do it.

6. Once the PC boots up again, open up Task Manager and check memory tab, you’ll see the RAM Memory Speed is now 3000 MHz Overall its a very well balanced PC as its fast and effective for most tasks with its CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD and decent motherboard, its a great workstation and powerful gaming PC.

A User Benchmark Performance Test was also done for this PC and my 1440p BenQ PD2700Q monitor setup which provided satisfying results.

– We ordered this for my son, after two other gaming computers were returned (one of the HP models w/ a GTX-1650 but only a 80watt power supply. and another comparable model) and it hasn’t let him down since! – With a GTX 1650, my son couldn’t run Ultra settings (GTAV and other games) BUT on this ABS PC, he is running Ultra settings and this is only a 2060 (not a 3000 series) so he is beyond thrilled and only one crash on GTAV to-date, and in fact that’s been the only time the computer froze, once in over a month and a half which is something we can all live with! – Other PC’s we bought and returned had constant blue screen errors, issues with multiple monitors (well it seemed to have issues with them!) BUT again on this ABS, no issues at all running three monitors! – I’m an older gamer so we did set this to never power off, and never sleep (PC and monitors) and power is set to full speed ahead (for best performance), and I told my son I do not recommend putting it to sleep or powering off every night, it stays running and so far not one issue to-date.

Overall we waited 1 month and 14 days to write this review, just to ensure absolutely nothing went wrong, and nothing did! Superb! We have one very happy, gaming 14 year old who is having a blast with his friend so much when playing on this that we remind him to be a little quieter while we do remote work, which makes us smile more than anything! :).

This is a very alright pre-built computer. There’s a lot to like, and a fair bit to criticize but it’s all based on the users’ personal preferences. $1299 is a very compelling price and is what ultimately led me to purchasing this computer in the first place.

A 3060ti, ryzen 7 3700x, and 16gb of ram sounds phenomenal on paper, and in practice isn’t all that shabby, either. Where the PC falls short in my experience is cooling performance, the lackluster components (with the exception of GPU and CPU) and the very unappealing case.

Starting from the top, as of writing this review in a relatively cool room, the GPU is averaging 50°c on idle under 1% load, where as the CPU is averaging a similar 54°c. For a case that is borderline comically large considering the components within it, it is quite concerning to say the least in regards to longevity.

For reference, my previous computer would idle around 30-35°c idle and ramp up to about 60-70°c under a relatively heavy load, at least in the GPU department, where was while just playing a game such as genshin impact, this computer easily hits the high 70s to low 80s.

Cooling is at the very least an issue to me, but your mileage my vary. In regard to lackluster components, the CPU is quite decent, but doesn’t come with the stock cooler but has a different cooler, which is a bit strange but it’s passable.

The GPU however is an ASUS 3060ti mini, which performs a bit worse than the average due to the smaller form factor which can be a non-issue to some users, but considering the case is a very large case that could fit a standard sized GPU, it just seems a bit strange.

The ram for me is 2400mhz at CL16, but there have been different reported ram speeds, so your mileage my vary, but my particular configuration is a tad lackluster considering the price. Lastly, I’ve touched on the case throughout the course of the review, but it needs to be emphasized that it is just.

not that great. It’s very large, it doesn’t cool well, and more-so on the subjective side but in my opinion just doesn’t look good especially in comparison to other options. If the case itself was smaller and or cooled significantly more efficiently then I would give it pass, but as it stands now it’s just a bit of an eyesore and doesn’t perform relative to its size.

Overall, I think the pre-built is workable at the very least but has some glaring flaws that at the very least need to be considered. I truly feel as though the only reason this computer is competitive at all is due to the GPU inside of it that is insanely over-inflated as of right now, and for some people that’s all that matters and if you are that person, by all means.

It’s a pretty nice performer, but I just can’t bare certain qualities of it. However, if you able to look past the issues that are within the PC, then I feel as though it is a fine buy.

Let me begin with this: this pc blew all my expectations out of the water! Value – Fantastic! If you were going to build this pc from scratch, and were able to buy the graphics card at msrp (functionally impossible at this point), you would still come out ahead by about $100 and if you bought this at $999 you’d come out about $200 ahead.

I bought this at $999 on sale, though it is now sold at its $1099 list price. In this current market (as of 1/11/2022), you’re probably saving between $300-$500 by buying this as a prebuilt. My Individual Specs Out-of-the-box: • GPU: GIGABYTE Radeon RX 6600 Eagle 8G Graphics – GV-R66EAGLE-8GD • Motherboard: B550M DS3H AC – Gigabyte Ultradurable • Ram: 1x8gb T-Force Vulcan Z DDR4 @3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL16 • Cpu Cooler: Coolermaster A71C (I think, but don’t actually want to remove it to check) • SSD: wdc wds500g2b0c-00pxh0 • Case: Functionally a Phanteks P360A – branded for Cyberpower • Power Supply: EVGA 600 GD, 80+ GOLD 600W – 100-GD-0600-V1 Performance: The performance of this machine is bafflingly good.

I used fortnite, SofTTR, and Witcher 3, for testing gameplay experience. Just looking at Fortnite on competitive settings, the best-case scenario for this hardware (no bottlenecks anywhere) is about 360fps on average.

Out of the box, this PC was cranking out an average of about 345 fps. I can also comfortably run SofTTR at 1080p ultra-settings with an FPS average of about 85fps and Witcher 3 1080p Ultra-settings with about 95fps on average.

Real world use will probably be lower as you’ll probably have other things running in the background, but this is a fantastic rig for the price. Biggest surprise was just how good the airflow on the case is.

Only downside is that dust management will probably need to be more rigorous, but that’s a small price to pay for good airflow. Take-away: This PC can be used for both competitive gaming and for an immersive 1080p experience for AAA games – especially if you limit it to 60fps for these demanding types of games.

The Little Things: Now, I knew what I was paying for when I bought this PC, so these comments won’t impact the rating I give the PC as a whole. • 8gb of ram isn’t enough. 1 open game, one chrome tab for music, and a discord call, and it is completely used up.

I almost immediately added another stick of ram to this for about $40 and it helps considerably. • The CPU cooler leaves a lot to be desired. It can adequately cool the CPU up to about 70% utilization – which is fine for gaming but just won’t cut it if you’re thinking of using this as a workstation for video editing or 3d rendering.

• The cable management could be better. Unless they know something that I don’t, I’ll never understand why they decided to daisy-chain the case fans when there were available headers. • Really little one – the thumb screws on the case are so bad! I really never imagined I would have so much difficulty with screws until I bought this computer.

Overall Rating 4. 8/5.

Due to the gpu market being absolutely bonkers, I decided to try the pre-built market. I’ve been using this now for about a week. According to PC part picker, the current value of this machine should be somewhere around ~$1400, and using CyberPowerPC’s custom shop, a hundred or so more than that.

Overall, this was a good spot to start a build with. The parts picked off the shelf in my build were of good quality. I should state that beforehand, but 8gb of ram, single channel especially, is not the best, as is the 500gb storage on it.

Those will be replaced once my wallet recovers from this initial purchase. That being said, here is the list of components not specifically named that mine was built with (keep in mind, SI’s like cyberpower use what’s available, so this is likely to change on upcoming builds) * ASRock RX 6600 XT * T-force VulcanZ ram (will be likely changing though, as its hard to find one stick of 8gb * EVGA 600W non-modular power supply (was pleasantly surprised by this) * ASUS B550+ HES motherboard * Coolmaster CPU cooler Benchmarks yielded good results for this setup.

I havent ran anything too demanding, but very rarely do I see the temps rise up above 55c. I do keep my house fairly cold in the winter, so I imagine in the summer it might get a bit hotter. Frames are consistent, and it runs like it should.

The case has mesh lining as opposed to those stupid closed off cases that restrict airflow on both the top as well as the front of the case. As for the build quality, cable management was satisfactory.

Thermal paste didnt go all the way to the corners, but oh well – that’s probably a small thing to ding them on. I needed to reseat the ram once in order to get it to boot, which is a few points dinged off, as I doubt ram would dislodge during shipping, and QA should be able to find that out.

Pretty happy overall. Especially given I got it within two days of ordering, I’d value this much higher than building one from scratch given you win the part lottery with whatever they have on shelf currently.

After doing a ton of research on gaming PC’s over the last year or so and purchasing another HP Omen from Best Buy (same product just the graphics card being a regular 2060) and having some major issues with it, this product is a breath of fresh air and great gaming computer for people especially those who are new to pc gaming experience and don’t want to spend $2000 on a gaming pc.

To note: I bought this PC as a replacement from the 25L Gaming Desktop i7 NVIDA GEFORCE RTX 2060 – 512 SSD, 1 TB HDD listed on best buy which I had hardware defective issues with upon the first few days of owning it.

Pros: – The SSD and the HDD, 512 GB of SSD is awesome and the additional 1 TB HDD is even better for storage and makes me feel comfortable that I have enough space for everything when doing photo editing and gaming.

– Pairing your wireless headphones/Bluetooth headphones. I was able to pair both my PS5 Headphones and my AirPod Pros with ease. The easiness of the partibility with headphones with great sound to have you immersed in the game – Ease of use with the OMEN Gaming Hub application and color changing lights.

Its much easier that other software systems to alter RGB lighting on your products. – You can easily upgrade the RAM and the fans. More discussed in the con’s section but that being said, if you’re willing to put in a little work (which isnt hard and YouTube is your friend) You can also find more specs on the HP website too for product information such as motherboard, RAM, etc and upgradability.

You can also add an additional fan to the top of the PC as well. I – It comes with a keyboard and mouse but I would recommend upgrading those if you’re playing any games that require fast past movement like COD – see more in CONS.

– It already comes with the latest version of Windows (Windows 11) and so far I’ve had no issues with this PC in terms of software and everything seems to be running really smoothly. Windows 11 is very organized compared to Windows 10 and I haven’t seen much issue as far as software is concerned.

Kudos to Microsoft thus far. – The graphics card is awesome with the gameplay and I really feel immersed in the games. I’ve had no ghosting or lag on any games that I’ve played. I do have it paired with Alienware AW2521HF 24.

5 Monitor with IPS. I would say that you can easily run at least 144fps on majority of your games (depending on game and your internet etc) and overclock it probably push it beyond that. You definitely don’t need a 4K monitor with this but I would recommend to make your graphics smooth by getting a gaming monitor with with IPS and GSync Combability for this Intel.

Cons: – This PC doesn’t come with any monitor cables (HDMI or DisplayPort), at least my computer didn’t. Be warned you are going to need to purchase an HDMI or DisplayPort cord or have one already handy.

It only comes with a Power Adapter. Also, for those who are curious, as it should list on the website, it doesn’t come with a monitor. This is just a gaming PC with keyboard and mouse. This is NOT an All in One.

– As mentioned, the keyboard and mouse. Not ideal for gaming but it gets the job done until you can purchase your own stuff. I would recommend going out and at least purchasing a decent mouse for the gaming you’re planning on doing.

– The amount of RAM it comes with. As mentioned above, you can easily upgrade this as it has three additional slots of RAM (total of four) and supports the following- Four DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets Supports PC4-23400 (DDR4-2933) Supports 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB DDR4 UDIMMs Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems.

However when I instantly received the PC, it came with almost 40% of the single RAM already full because of all the Microsoft applications and random other appts that are preinstalled on the PC which I ended having to sort through and uninstall.

16 GB of RAM just isn’t enough and its extremely hard right now to find any RAMs right now that aren’t overpriced or out of stock. It comes with a single Hyper X Fury DDR4 288 Pinn 16 GB – now taken over by Kingston Fury, however, if you are OCD like me and want matching things for your PC, it may be difficult.

If you don’t care about mismatching names or whatever it may be, this may be a breeze for you to find without issues or if you plan on replacing the RAM it already comes with entirely. On this issue, you’re definitely going to have to upgrade the RAM which I mentioned above is easy to do and delete some of those unwanted apps.

– In terms of power wattage, per NVADIA website, it states that the graphics card 2060 Super needs a minimum of 550 W of power in order to be effective. The specifications on Best Buy website only have this “Power Supply Maximum Wattage 500 watts”.

I cross confirmed with this with HP’s website and HP only built this PC for a max of 500 W. Little concerning to say the least but to be fair I haven’t seen any massive issues with this yet but may be a concern for some users.

In my opinion? HP definitely dropped the ball on this and should’ve mass produced this at 550 W to match the graphics card it put in to this PC -Cooling. Cooling isn’t HP’s strong suit overall as you will read on a ton of online reviews of this PC or any HP Omen Desktops in general (I cant speak for laptops).

There are little tweaks that you can do to fix this besides upgrading the fans which you can YouTube which make a huge difference but ultimately if you want cooling, you’re going to have to add additional fans or upgrade them and make little tweaks to your PC’s maximum performance output.

– Little bit of a PRO, you can monitor all this cooling under the HP Omen Gaming Hub. – PS5 Controller Connect – for whatever reason, and maybe its just me, I am having serious issues using the PS5 controller on some of the games, not all of them.

The controls tend to not capture in my games and disconnect for whatever reason. It may not be a PC issue but the game issue as a whole but trying to connect the PS5 controller in general was a little bit of a pain for me.

Granted, it may work better on an Xbox Controller but I can’t comment on that. Overall, given the price this is a great gaming PC for the money especially if you’re starting out new to playing games on a PC vs a console.

I truly love this PC and plan on upgrading it as I can However, reviewing list of my opinions on the pros and cons, you should make the choice that works best for you. Happy Gaming!.

I built my first computer over five years ago. When it flatlined a few months ago, I tried a lot of things – hard drive, graphics card, RAM, and power supply but nothing would get it completely through the BIOS.

Realizing that I would probably have to rebuild the whole system to get it functioning again (and not being an expert) I decided that having a pre-built system would be nice. Today my opinion of their OMEN line is high and I wrote this review using the 27i monitor and the 25L desktop.

When I decided to upgrade, I went down the rabbit hole where I found Linus Tech Tips. I watched their sleeper pre-built video from a few months ago. While not perfect, they (the experts) were pretty happy with the system build and customer service.

I also had my eye on the looks of the machine ever since seeing an OMEN commercial a few years ago. While Ryzen really is the better CPU these days I’ve always been an AMD guy for years but for some reason I’ve always wanted to try an intel CPU.

Five years ago, intel’s single-core performance was all-the-rage and I guess I had a sentimental eye towards those memories. What really did me in was finding out that: 1. I got a company discount 2.

The winter sale was going on 3. A lot of OMEN units were sold out but they still had i7 10700 with GeForce 2060 SUPERs in-stock around my price-range 4. I had a work bonus that I could use to fund the endeavor After ordering, I paid a few extra dollars (it was under $20) for ‘expedited’ shipping and it came two days before it was scheduled.

I don’t know how they did that, considering it was days after Christmas (with COVID being an issue to boot). Setup was very easy, I took it out of the case, plugged it in, and then set up Windows – all in all it took about 20 minutes.

This was the easiest computer setup I’ve ever done (and I’ve used Linux, Windows, and Macbook pro PCs). While I’m not a big fan of HP as a company, I feel that (1 month in) they have really done me right in every category and I would have to recommend this particular product if you have the money and want a pre-built system (or need to get around the crazy graphics-card shortages and embargos).

However, if you don’t have all the cash in the world or any discounts (make sure you use Honey), go ahead and build your own computer with a Ryzen and a 2080ti and it will probably be a similar price considering HPs markups.

Love this tower! Admittedly I have not owned this for even a month yet so keep that in mind. Very easy set up; only had to plug in my monitor (not included with unit), webcam with built-in microphone (not included with unit), mouse, and keyboard to the tower.

Then I plugged the unit and monitor into an outlet. Lastly I set up my wireless headphones for sound through the built-in Bluetooth once Windows 10 was properly installed through the initial set-up process.

The included mouse and keyboard have a nice basic, slim profile and are not clunky to use. No mousepad needed for the mouse which is common for most modern mice. It has the basic mouse layout of right click and left click with a scroll wheel.

The scroll wheel is able to be pressed and helps with scrolling. Keyboard comes with a number pad and has little travel distance from pressing a key to confirming input. Thankfully it’s very quiet but input does make some clicky noises so if you don’t like that buy yourself a more quiet keyboard.

No pretty lights or gizmos with the included mouse and keyboard. So if you want that you’ll have to buy it separately. This is my first real gaming/streaming rig and everything runs so smooth. I recommend keeping your C Drive as clean as possible for the best performance since this does come with a secondary HDD Drive.

Only put stuff you want to run fast onto your C Drive like your streaming software (Streamlabs OBS, OBS, Stream Elements, etc. ) and stuff like Steam and other things in your D Drive. For a monitor I do use the HP X24i Gaming Monitor and it works great with this unit.

Keep in mind there is only one HDMI port so a second monitor will need to work through the DisplayPort or old fashioned DVI-D port. This is fine for me but if you need more HDMI ports look for another tower.

The clear window on the left side of the unit makes the HyperX® 16 GB DDR4-2666 XMP RGB SDRAM and NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060 SUPER graphics card shine through and is very pretty. The diamond in the front also lights up and will pulse when your computer is in sleep mode.

This tower is very brightly lit so if this is in a room you sleep in I recommend shutting down before bed or keep it in a dedicated room. My only real issue with this computer is may not be the fault of this unit but of other things.

My Bluetooth-connected headphones (Sennheiser HD 450BT) have a hands-free audio function and Microsoft’s sound settings tend to not remember my preference of keeping that turned off and just use them as normal headphones.

I tend to have to turn my headphones off and reconnect or even remove the device and re-pair it with my computer. This may be a problem with the headphones or Microsoft’s not-so-great sound settings.

For sound I recommend getting audio that plugs into the computer like speakers or wired earbuds/headphones. It’s usually best for wired headphones to go through external speakers that have a headphone jack since my experience with going directly through a tower’s headphone jack over the years has not been the best.

Despite this I love this computer and will probably end up finding a better audio output solution for my needs. As a certified COMPTIA A+ technician–in plain English: I’m certified to properly recommend computers and repair them–I say this is a great pre-built tower for those who don’t have a ton of money or time to build one and especially for those who don’t know how to build one.

Pre-built towers like this are great for someone’s first gaming rig since it’s easy to set up and get to playing games. All games I’ve played on here from intensive Apex Legends to more simple games like Stardew Valley run great.

I’ve been using this to stream games and illustration on Twitch and it runs very smooth even through using Wi-Fi. The price is very reasonable for this unit and HP is a great brand that has been around for decades.

I was actually recommended this through a friend who streams Apex Legends quite often and was not disappointed. The specs and my personal experience with computers give this 5 stars as of this writing.

Pros. Extremely powerful and amazing machine. If you want a computer that can handle anything this is the machine for you. Cons. This computer only comes with 2 HDMI outputs which is very important for hooking up monitors.

The port on the front of the tower is very lose and if it wiggles you lose your monitors. This is very disappointing. I have 3 monitors hooked up and only 2 can connect via HDMI and one only works half the time.

Again very disappointing this computer is to expensive not to have 3 HDMI ports that all work QVC Price was $1000 higher then the same computer on the Lenova website. When asked why they said take it or leave you may return it.

But because I needed the flex pay option for a $3000 computer I had no choice but to pay the extra $1000 i feel greatly taken advantage of. QVC changed and cancelled my ship date 3 times and in that process took the $500 payment in and out of my acct multiple times before finally shipping the computer that was in stock 3 weeks later.

The machine is great minus the HDMI port issue QVC did let me down in shipping , and in price. If you dont need the the flex pay option I highly recommended going to Lenova directly and saving alot ot money.

We bought one for our son and when we got it didn’t work. It wouldn’t power up. We took to Best Buy where we purchased it and they looked at. Could figure put what was wrong. We ordered another one. Got it today and same thing.

No matter where we plug it in it won’t power up. So I’m getting a refund tomorrow.

This PC is awesome! I couldn’t be happier! The only complaint that I have with Y920T is the keyboard and mouse which are in my opinion to big(had to get another desk to accommodate them). I haven’t had any issue with games or multi-tasking at all.

I’ve put every game in ultra or the highest settings in 4K without any noise from the processor or graphics card and played for hours. As far as upgrading goes, I see no issues there’s plenty of space to do whatever you need.

Simply stated this is one nice computer.
