20 Best Powder Foundation For Acne Prone Skin (2023 Updated)

I have this product exchanged within a week of purchase. Have tried to convince myself to continue using it, yet after trying both ways, dry application and wet application, by using foundation brush and pad comes with it, either way ever worked.

Also learnt from the 2 x tutoring videos, make sure I’m doing the right way. Result still the same, too hard to work on. Two times, I have to wash my whole face and re put my skin product again, it was too horrible to show my face after applying this foundation.

During the day, after washing face, toner-serum-facecl cream-sun screen wait till dry a little bit, very normal process. Then apply this foundation, it doesn’t blend properly, instead of blurring the pores, it magnifies all the pores, could see dots dots of the pores with the foundation, if using pressing way to apply, then start to show patches by patches, if gently using pad to spread, then it sticks on the sun screen and moves away your skin product, then shows the lines of foundation.

If using brush to take the powder and gently brush on the face, shows foundation particles on your face. I meant to get a product to settle my oily look face, before got translucent compressed powder, which was alright except the colour is a bit yellowish.

Then I was recommended this product by staff, I thought would do the same thing as the translucent powder but not as yellowish, then to my surprise, totally different. I have finally changed to Nars reflecting compressed setting powder instead.

There is also an invisible compressed setting powder from Laura Mercier, which is the same as the yellowish translucent one, but no stock in chadstone store, maybe that one would be alright as well. But definitely not this two way foundation powder.

I used to think Mac’s powder foundation was the best until I tried Laura Mercier. I had skepticism that this $50 powder would be overpriced and not be any different than cheaper comparable powder foundations, but I was wrong.

This foundation blurs to perfection, it is not cakey and doesn’t settle into my fine lines and clump up as the day goes on. It’s smooth, it’s a great layer that makes your skin look like skin. How I use this and get the best results is to apply all skincare and SPF, dust a layer of loose powder over my spf and then go in with this powder foundation on top and I look flawless and natural.

I use CT spray sometimes if I want a glowy cheek and it NEVER disturbs the powder or break it up, and neither does my oily t-zone. For those looking for a CT powder dupe I think this may be even better.

My ONLY complaint (aside from price – I wish there was a refill option) is the packaging. The outside is nice it’s just this has that cubby for a sponge underneath the powder and it always opens to the cubby and not the powder.

It’s annoying but worth it for the payoff of that powder. I found my summer powder 100%!.

My holy grail power foundation! I have been using this foundation for about 3 years now and even though I venture out to try new products they do not compare to this one. I use multiple shades for the time of the year – lighter for winter and 1-2 shades darker for the summer and its amazing.

I can dust it over my liquid foundation or build it on its own for a lighter day. Very versatile. Does not turn orange if you have the correct shade, and sticks on so you wont need to re-apply it throughout the day (unless its a hot day and your skin can get oily like mine does on humid days).

I recommend it for sure.

Would have given it 5 stars every time, but frustrated to not have an applicator come with it. When writ g the company I was told they are trying to ‘be more sustainable’. This is ridiculous, because people will still need to get an applicator.

The packaging has t changed at all, the compact is still the same size with the compartment to store an applicator. They have not reduced anything in their manufacturing other than not including an applicator.

They have not reduced the cost either, so basically we are paying the same for less. They’ve lost a loyal customer here.

I will start this off by saying Elf is one of my FAVORITE cosmetic brands. However I would be lying if I said I really liked this. Upon first impression, the compact is really cute, not too bulky, and very sturdy.

I was surprised by now nice and big the mirror was on it because for once I actually used the mirror that comes with a compact makeup product! Very nice. But upon using the powder foundation itself, from the start it was a mess.

It made my skin look SUPER dry and patchy, and even accentuated my pores and fine lines and made me look old. Which I usually don’t have an issue with when it comes to powder foundations. It is very thick and almost creamy in that it is not finely-milled, and I had to work extra hard to get a good layer to even-out my skin.

Then I went to my doctor’s appointment and when I took my mask off, the foundation completely rubbed away in huge patches across my face and nose! And it made my peach fuzz way more visible. Not only that, but it excentuated my smile lines so much that I got a little insecure and had to rub it away in those spots.

I don’t feel like I should have to set a powder with a powder to be honest. I really wanted to love this. I even attempted to use it with a brush instead of the sponge it came with and that didn’t help either.

2 stars because it did look a TINY but better after I set it with the Elf Blue-Light Micro Setting Mist. Also in flash photography it gives me moon face. I would not use this product in the future or recommend it to my family or friends.

I think Elf should trying making maybe a more finely-milled powder foundation, as this one is too “chunky” for me. Thank you for letting me test this product though!!.

I was leery of this because elf foundations have never worked for me. I am pale-light skinned with cool undertones, 38 years old, no cosmetic improvements ever done. Closest match to my skin tone is 125C…and it’s NOT a cool undertone, nor is there a match to my skin tone.

I’m very happy that there’s no talc in this, and since it’s a powder, I can pull off the mismatched color (they don’t make one that matches my skin in any foundation product), but this is not a cool undertone, it’s very neutral.

That’s fine, I can use blush and bronzer to kinda disguise that. It’s a good setting powder, adds a little coverage, and finishes smoothly. Gotta get more products formulated for us mature skinned folks, elf.

This one you can get away with, but don’t put it over any area that has fine lines because it’ll collect and look like garbage really fast, no matter how much setting spray or primer you use. So far this is the only product that sits nicely on my skin in the camo line, but I won’t buy it again.

Catrice is the only brand that makes an exact skin tone match for me, and it looks stellar on the face, AND it’s the same price as this product (I’ve tried every brand from elf to Charlotte Tilbury and catrice is THE one).

Cheaper than elf’s CC cream too, and works for mature/maturing skin much more nicely. Cmon elf! I love your products, but you’re seriously lacking in products for your OGs from 2004 that are now getting older and need to change the makeup routine! Elf complexion products are just not good for anyone over 25, or anyone that can’t afford Botox, juvederm,.

I think that Elf’s weakness lies in its inferior foundations and this powder is truly awful. I was excited initially to see this powder added to the foundation line and was hopeful this foundation would be a positive score for Elf.

I read the reviews before buying and they often said the powder was too orange. I am a neutral medium in complexion but when I looked at the foundation at the local drug store, they all DID look like very orange.

To compensate for this, I chose a medium cool powder. But alas, no manner of application obliterates the orange tone in the powder! I really look orangey and awful! Tried it with and without primer, using different application tools, etc but nothing helped.

The look is hideous and the powder also clings to any texture on your skin and makes that area look even more orangey. Please go back to the lab with this one Elf! I am an Icon in the Beauty Squad so I will hope to see a new and improved Camo Powder SOON! I really love many of Elf’s products and the Happy Hydration line is awesome as well as the primers (my favorite is Poreless and I adore the new vitamin C version!).

Sorry but the new Camo Powder needs to return to the drawing board.

I have been using this powder for years. I occasionally try something new but always come back to this one. It blends so easy for me. I”m not a makeup artist and don’t wear makeup daily anymore. When I do I always go back to picking this one up.

I can never go wrong using this. Please never stop making this. My favorite all time powder.

It’s the best make up for hot summer days and nights. Just brush it on in circular sweeps for a light non sticky cover after moisturising your face. A little blush and lipstick and I’m ready to go. It lasts a long time too as you don’t use much and there is no waste with the twist to release powder mechanism in the case.

No loose powder escaping like other brands. I love the Pure Finish Mineral powder and I’ve been using it for a few years now. I always look better in photos when I’m wearing it.

I’ve used this foundation for many years. I sometimes have used liquid foundation, but always come back to this. I only use a small amount to even out my skin tone, which makes it great for minimal summer make up.

Being an older lady, I am concerned that using a powder will settle into lines, but it seems to become more fluid when I’ve applied it.

I sort of “hemmed and hawed” about buying this for a long time because of the confusing reviews. “Great coverage!” “NO coverage!” “Too light!” “Just right!” etc. But I purchased sample baggies from the manufacturer directly and found that Geisha is my shade before purchasing the full size at Vitacost.

DEFINITELY get samples ahead of time! It’s SO worth it. Geisha is for the super pale, and while there is a SLIGHT “cool tone” to it, pale neutrals will also be able to wear it. The pink/blue tone is not extreme, so no worries if you’re neutral toned, but very pale.

Pale warm tones however, will probably look better in Avignon. One thing I love about this brand is that all of the shades are neutral, which means most people can wear them without it being glaringly obvious! The product IS buildable.

Yes, it is. 😛 Moisture/primer is key, however! If there is little to no moisturizer (or moisturizing primer) on your skin before applying, there won’t be much coverage and it’ll be very disappointing.

Do yourself a favor and slather it on before use. Personally I have a homemade primer, made of natural witch hazel and vegetable glycerine. I spray my face and allow it to dry before using the powder, then if I need more coverage, I spray lightly AGAIN and apply another layer of powder.

Works like a charm. And it stays put! I have to use a little “elbow grease” to get it off at the end of the day! 🙂 The only thing I’m not too crazy about is the small amount of product in each pan.

It goes quicker than I would like it to, but for the price I’m not complaining. ;-).

I really like this. I would have given it 5 leaves aside from a few things. 1. Supernatural is a bit too dark and they don’t carry my shade here (I ordered samples from the HoneyBee Garden’s website).

2. You have to be careful because when you put your brush in the product it becomes loose and powder can go everywhere. It’s better to kind of swirl a tiny (just to lift up the powder) and tap. Don’t swirl like crazy.

3. It doesn’t last nearly as long as loose mineral foundation. I’ve had it for two weeks and have already put a decent dent in it and I don’t wear a ton of it. On the plus side this hasn’t made my ultra sensitive and reactive skin break out and the coverage is decent for what I want.

I need to use concealer on any super red blemishes but that’s normal. Even the best mineral foundation still needs the help of a concealer at times and believe me I’ve tried them all. Because my skin has been good I actually don’t want a full coverage foundation.

I’ve been going for that perfect skin ‘no makeup’ look so I just use my mineral concealer if I need it and then a light layer of this. The only place I really need coverage is the redness underneath my nose and a tiny bit of concealer plus a layer of this does the trick.

If you have bad acne, hyperpigmentation or rosacea I’m not sure how this would work for you. I’m not the best person to advise you on that. Though if you have decent skin with maybe a few odd blemishes and a tiny bit of uneven skin tone this would work well.

If you need a tone of coverage this might work better as a tinted powder over another foundation.

First off , I would like to state that I am not the best at reviewing powder foundation because I rarely use it personally. Including this one I only had three pressed powder foundation/ pressed powder for quick touch ups.

I will try my best to review for more types of application and use as a foundation of the lightest coverage. My first impression with the packaging was surprising at the actual compact is very sturdy and stunning in design and weight.

It’s the perfect size for use on the go or at home for an overall minimal coverage foundation. I personally don’t know someone who uses products like this as just a foundation since it barely has any coverage.

My first con for this product was the lack of application puff or sponge included in the compact packaging. Directions indicate that product should be applied with a chisel brush and swirling around the face.

This means that this pressed foundation will not be so convenient for on the go use since you have to bring along your brush or a generic puff for touch ups through the day. I don’t understand why they would overlook this detail especially when comparable products in price such as Urban Decay include a small sponge hidden under the pan of powder.

When I’m out and about and need a quick touch up I will not be one to carry a brush in my purse or a puff but then you still have an extra item to add with this foundation in your purse. For a very light extremely natural makeup look this powder would work best for oily or oily to combo skin.

Dry and normal to dry skin will possibly feel super dry and settling in wrinkles even more than other foundation types. The texture of your skin will also be amplified with the powder foundation just like it settles in wrinkles.

I would suggest to put on my moisturizer at least if not a light primer for the powder to stay in place and make coverage more evenly blended. You don’t want the powder to fly off easily making it pointless imo to even apply.

The sunscreen added is a good idea overall. How well the product coverage is applied, I would still wear my usual sunscreen before this product to be sure of my coverage. My thoughts are the same in regards to the anti aging benefits.

Powder doesn’t absorb the same way as a liquid. Overall I think this is a average powder foundation in performance. Those with more oily skin will get the most beneficial performance as the powder makes the skin more matte.

A good minimal look that will help with shine without the feeling of wearing traditional foundation. All people are unique and that will also factor in making this product a good fit. This powder foundation will be something you like or not since it’s a limited coverage with no maybe or grey area.

I recently tried the Pur 4-in-1 mineral makeup. This product combines 4 products in one — foundation, concealer, powder and SPF. I do appreciate that the product has SPF and any extra protection is great to see in products, however I would use SPF lotion underneath this product as well.

The product did not smell like sunscreen at at all, which was great! This product is described as a medium, buildable coverage with a natural finish. I found that the natural finish is accurate, as is the medium coverage.

I used a brush to apply. Personally, when I tried to build the product up, it started to look cakey on my skin. I do not fault the product for this, I just think for someone like me with redness from rosacea or blemishes, I need a product with more coverage.

When applied lightly, I think it has a more nautral look. Overall, I did like the formula and would use it again, but as a complement to a liquid foundation. For those who do not need as full coverage, this product would be great on its own.

I also appreciate that this product was made without harmful ingredients and without fragrance. I would seek this product out again and would recommend it to others looking for a medium coverage powder foundation or those seeking additional coverage over a liquid foundation.

Disclaimer: I typically hate PUR products, but this one really surprised me. This is a light to medium coverage foundation (so don’t expect full coverage or you will be disappointed) that is perfect for light makeup days or even to use as a setting powder.

I love the skincare and sun protection in this product so much. The hydration and spf it offers are much needed when I’m flying around and getting a bunch of dry recirculated air for hours on end. I really like that it doesn’t get cakey or look too heavy either, because it doesn’t transfer onto my headset or sunglasses.

This honestly lasts all day without looking dry and flaky (very important for powders) and I even noticed that it doesn’t leave behind any marks like I usually get from my sunglasses and I’m always embarrassed about (which sucks in front of your passengers).

It also lasts through walking/hiking around during the layovers without me sweating it off. So I’d say it’s safe to assume I’ve pretty much put this to the test for daily/work use and it holds up each time.

It also matches my skin so great. I typically use a brush to apply this (dense/fluffy depending on desired coverage) and that does the job very well. If I try this with a powder puff or sponge applicator, I’ll update the review.

In the end, I definitely recommend this foundation and will be repurchasing when I run out.

If you’re thinking about buying this powder, just do it. I use this powder almost everyday, my makeup just doesn’t feel complete without it. I love it. The packaging itself has held up over the course of 2+ years.

I’ll probably replace it ASAP. I have super dry skin, my skin doesn’t usually mesh with powders, which is why I’d avoid them all together. This is the only powder that doesn’t make my skin appear more dry than it already is— other than, the original Maybelline Fit Me pressed powder.

It’s a nice powder to throw on for a ‘no makeup’ makeup look— or, you can slowly build it up for full coverage. I really like that they included a sponge because it’s perfect for touch-ups and easier to achieve full coverage.

I don’t use the sponge, I lost the sponge a long time ago. I prefer a brush (over a sponge) because I like being able to do both, stamping and buffing motions, to apply it. It feels super lightweight.

I get a little carried away sometimes but no matter how much I apply, it doesn’t look caky. It gives the skin a super smooth, airbrushed effect. I rarely wear this powder on its own. I use it as more of a setting powder than an actual foundation.

It layers well on top of foundation because it’s sooo lightweight.

This powder foundation provides sweat, humidity and transfer-resistant 1 6-hour wear with a natural matte finish. It visibly evens skin tone and texture over time to perfect the look of bare skin. It is non-drying and absorbs oil.

I make sure to moisturize my skin and use a primer before using this powder foundation for the perfect application. It comes with a small sponge in the container which makes it easy to apply this foundation evenly onto the skin.

It has a creamy, soft texture and it goes on very smoothly. It blends well without seeping into my fine lines. It has a nice buildable coverage that lasts all day long without caking up or getting blotchy.

My skin tone looks more even and my complexion looks flawless. This foundation provides my skin with a nice matte finish. The shade Fair 1 5 Warm is a perfect match for my skin tone. The foundation comes in a nice compact container with a mirror and sponge, so it is easy to bring it on the go or while traveling.

I highly recommend this powder foundation.

🦋💋I recently tried this Foundation out and did a basic makeup look with it and was very satisfied with how it covered without me using any concealer at all! It kept face nice and in place. No touch ups nothing I wore it all day and stayed oil free! My pores were barley visible and it absolutely wore True to its 16hr mark! I feel like that @bareminerals are sometimes not as praised as they should be! I CANT RECOMMEND ENOUGH TO GIVE THIS POWDER FOUNDATION A TRY! I definitely will be purchasing in the future! I didn’t apply mascara or eyeliner or concealer just to keep the focus on the foundation.

This is a great powder foundation formula compared to other competitors. This powder controls my oil well, long lasting and looks natural while provide medium- full coverage , I don’t have much to cover.

My hair boy issue is that Mac does provide enough golden olive undertones for people with medium deep skin and darker. I was original matched to C7 which is too pink/red, the depth is good but the undertone is wrong.

C8 undertone is perfect but I need the depth of the color to be a little lighter. MAC can you please make color that matches me! I am have warm golden medium -deep skin with a olive undertone. I can make C8 only work if I use a mattifying primer only.

And I have a summer tan. If I use a moisturizing primer than it’ll be too dark, straight up brown. The last picture I have C8 on. The first 2 pictures is my bare face. I inside natural light , and the second picture outside in natural light.

I bought this tonight. Good thing I couldn’t sleep. Courtney had the BEST presentation of MAC cosmetics I have ever witnessed. I have my share of QVC Purchases and usually SK presents MAC but tonight there was time for the makeup artists to actually speak instead of Shawn interrupting as she does and putting makeup over her makeup.

Even the makeup artists complimented Courtney was a breath of fresh air to present their cosmetics. Thank you Courtney. You helped me truly understand MY undertones finally I think I got it right and ordered for the 3rd time foundation that will be flawless.

QVC if anyone is reading this Take Note. look at Courtney she is beautiful and loves makeup and is flawless in her own skin. She represents MAC best in my opinion. Love MAC and very happy I watched the show tonight.

I ordered the shadows and another lip pencil too from Courtney’s recommendation. I never knew those colors went together. She wasn’t in the mirror camera hogging the limelight. It was truly about the customer tonight.

I’m absolutely shocked that no ones mentioned the tiny silver sparkles in the foundation. It’s not even that subtle either. It shines in the light as though you have eyeshadow fallout all over your face.

Why?? Why did they put metallic shimmer in a foundation? The coverage is okay, definitely not as good as the L’Oréal infallible powder foundation. It does tend to stick to dryness so you’ll need to moisturize/prime before applying.

It also has a chalky feel once applied to the skin. It doesn’t have that finely-milled velvety feeling you get with other powder foundations. And because of that, it does get patchy throughout the day.

I get that they’re trying to use fewer and more clean ingredients, but whatever was used in the making of this definitely compromises the performance of the product. As for the color selection, aside from the very few dark shades, all of them in general seem to lean more on the yellow-tone side and that goes for the ones claiming to have cool undertones too.

I like the packaging. It comes with a little mirror and a flat sponge applicator, but I wish they would make refills to make it more sustainable.

I was using the color Sand and now that it’s summer I wanted to try Almond for my medium skin tone. It looks fantastic and really isn’t too dark like I thought it might be. I blended it with a fluffy brush and also changed to Medium Deep in my Burt’s Bees concealer.

I actually got a compliment on my 66 year old skin today at my CVS. The woman wanted to know what I was using to make my skin look so good. I showed her right there and she bought it all, the Renewal Skincare line and the key to my powder foundation looking dewy is the Complete Nourishment Facial Oil under the Firming SPF 30 Face Lotion.

If your skin is a drier one and you want to use a powder foundation and still look youthful that is the key. I don’t do matte but it’s summer and I love switching off from my Goodness Glows Foundation or Tinted Moisturizer sometimes.

I like my powder to look radiant at my age and it does by using these products. Lastly, I love how it doesn’t settle into my fine lines like some high end makeup I used to use!.

At last, a powder foundation that stays looking good on my skin! I wanted something for everyday when I don’t want to take time with liquid foundation and powder etc and this is it! I have the shade Peach, my skin is very fair but this works well to not wash me out.

It evens the complexion and makes me look much brighter. It’s got great staying power on my oily skin and it doesn’t separate or fade as I get oily. I use a setting spray after to take away any powdery look.

I love this and I love that it’s refillable.

TIP: do not judge this stuff immediately after applying! It needs a few minutes to blend with your face oils so it doesn’t look powdery and cakey. It will ultimately look very natural – you can speed it along with a little moisturizing mist spray or setting spray.

My skin is light/medium neutral leaning slightly warm, and I use the Camel color. For a natural look, I use tinted sunscreen (Bare Minerals, then do concealer/bronzer/blush, then stipple a little of this powder on my face, concentrating on my T-zone.

I sometimes finish with the Chantecaille Loose Powder in the T-zone. You could apply over foundation for more coverage. This product is not a full-coverage foundation, but it is very good at smoothing out your skin, reducing shine, and making you look more polished.

I purchased this 12 days ago. The powder has a beautiful fine texture and goes on like silk. It looks nice when I first apply it, however, the colour oxidize’s and within 30 minutes I am left with a ruddy yellow complexion.

There is also very little product supplied, in just 12 days I have hit pan despite only using it as a light coverage and some days just as a touch up over my Chantecaille Future Skin foundation (which I love).

I use Alabaster in the Future Skin. The Mecca colour match suggested Peach as the closest match in the compact, however, for me it is not a good match. The actual compact is cheap looking but the design is good with a separate compartment for the sponge (with air holes) and a mirror.

I won’t purchase again.

This is a great powder foundation. It goes on evenly and good coverage. Not full coverage unless you apply a lot, but very natural looking coverage which is what I wanted. Great foundation and especially for being a talc free powder.

Love this brand so much! Been using it for years. The nurture mineral foundation is the perfect colour for me, so light and natural looking with a touch of glow. I pair it with peachy keen or rosy glow blush & inika mascara.

I love this product, but you have to use the right tools and I struggled at first with it looking cakey!! The diamond infused particles make your skin GLOW. Here’s the key to this product is you have to have something below it (either a primer for natural look or liquid foundation for full coverage) and use a Kabuki face brush.

Swirly lightly over your whole face. I have dry skin and struggle with redness and this product paired only with a primer hides my redness and gives me a beautiful natural glow. In a nut shell this powder is better used as setting powder or as a soft highlighter with the glow it gives.

I was pleasantly surprised by this powder. I have medium golden skin with yellow undertone and got the medium deep. I always wear a clear sunscreen primer as my face. I did try the Winky Lux white tea tinted veil because of the skin loving ingredients and the SPF 30–application was GREAT, but I couldn’t get past the smell! This diamond powder however has beautiful pigment and the color doesn’t settle into lines, especially dryer skin.

I set mine with rosewater and then another sunscreen spray on top of that for a little bit of glow. This powder is wonderful quality for the price.

I am 52 years old, my Mother is 75. We are light/medium complexion. She has beautiful skin with normal aging. I have Linear S sclerosis/Morphea. Diamond powder is AMAZING! It makes our skin look flawless.

We both get compliments on how we are glowing and look so natural. We use primer, then the lightest amount of powder, do our faces, then finish with another light veil of powder. That’s it!!! It’s amazing! And it works as concealer too.

Use your finger or whatever and dot it on spots where concealer is needed. Perfect!!!!!!.

This is a great powder foundation that provides even, smooth coverage without causing irritation. I purchased one of these during a half price sale, and it turned out to be one of the most comfortable and non-drying powder foundations I’ve ever tried.

I usually try to avoid powder foundations but this one has a soft, creamy texture that glides onto the skin and doesn’t cake or accentuate my fine lines. The powder itself is quite pigmented and I find when I want less coverage it looks most natural when I apply it with a kabuki or powder brush.

It also applies evenly and naturally with the round sponge included in the compact case. \n\nThe main positives about this product are that it primarily contains mineral pigments and therefore provides good SPF protection too.

It also doesn’t have a noticeable fragrance so my skin doesn’t turn red or itchy. I also find it provides medium to full coverage that lasts most of the day, and does a good job covering any redness and imperfections.

The only main disadvantage is the limited choice of lighter shades, and the colours do look slightly orange on me. I will however purchase this powder in the future mainly because it provides good sun protection and isn’t drying like most powder foundations.

I am really impressed with this compact mineral foundation, which provides good coverage and doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts. I have only ever used La Roche-Posay sunscreens and have found their products suitable for my somewhat sensitive skin.

I decided to purchase this powder foundation as it’s specifically designed for sensitive, reactive skin types. I do tend to get red cheeks, especially during winter when I’m sitting near a heater for most of the day! This powder helps cover and neutralise any redness and leaves my combination skin looking matte and fresh all day.

It has a good quality sponge that helps apply the powder naturally and evenly. \n\nI usually use a colour neutralising primer to minisise redness and then gently pat this powder foundation on my face, after I use my concealer.

I find the product is quite pigmented so there’s no need to layer or cake this power on to give good coverage. The shade Light Beige suits my skin tone the most, although there really isn’t a huge choice of shades available.

I also carry this compact in my handbag in case I need to reapply during the day. My favourite thing about this powder is that it’s mineral based, although it contains talc, it’s still less irritating than many other powder foundations I’ve tried.

I can even apply this after I’ve had skin treatments and peels and it doesn’t cause any extra irritation at all. \n\nI will definitely be repurchasing this compact powder foundation as it suits my skin very well and isn’t too pricey.

WOW! There is so much to love about this Teint Mineral powder foundation. I hadn’t tried this brand before and won the product in a goodies pack. The colour I have is light beige which suits my colouring perfectly.

\n\nThe compact is very smart, elegant black with a mirror and in a separate section there is a very nice sponge for application. I personally prefer a brush for foundation and powder application but the sponge is handy for those quick touch-ups.

\n I couldn’t detect any scent to irritate and the product itself has a quality look and feel. \nWhat really attracted me was the generous SPF 25 skin protection and that this product is specifically designed for normal to combination sensitive skin, this is a winning combination.

\nThe powder itself applied beautifully it grabbed to my brush, so soft and fine and covered all my age spots and freckles leaving a flawless finish. The coverage lasted all day for me and my skin didn’t feel dry or cakey or look blotchy.

\nI have only tested this product in the cooler months so will be interested to see how it performs in the summer and if it meets my different skins needs when I’m hot and sweaty. \nOverall I love this product, its a great price, perfect handbag companion and suits most skin types.

I buy lots of products from Vichy and definitely rate them highly so I tried this makeup. I like a compact foundation for speed. The makeup is good but the lightest shade is still a little too dark for my skin tone – I would have preferred a slightly lighter shade.

Also, it doesn’t stay matte for long, and my nose goes shiny quite quickly meaning I need to reapply. All in all, a good product but for the price, I’d prefer more shade choices and better shine control.

This compact powder is very good. Gives nice coverage but no mask effect. It works well on different primers. Continental salicid acid and helps kemping my blemish prone oily skin clear and soft. I buy this for years now.

I’ve been trying to find a foundation that lasts and doesn’t look “cakey” whilst also helping with my extreme shiny t-zone. This does wonders, it has a great coverage for hiding imperfections. Doesn’t leave your face feeling like it can’t breathe.

I use it as a setting powder, there is not much coverage, it is very lightweight, and I really like that I do not feel it on my skin, no heavy feeling, no clogged pores.

The shade “1 universal glow” has no white cast, honestly, I have not noticed much glow, it is very natural, but it does brighten nicely! Great simple packaging, but the powder does not come with a puff, and it has no mirror.

If it had SPF it would be absolutely amazing!.
